Spell 9: The Truth Approaches
Most of the citizens that live in Tengu City were forced to live indoors for the night as stormy weather had suddenly appeared over it. But some didn't have the luxury of living inside of a building, and one of them was Nitou Kousuke as he was fighting the storm using a small umbrella for protection.
"Ah mou! How many days has it been since I ate a Phantom?! I bet he tricked me and defeated some Phantoms! That's gotta be it! I'm not losing to him!" Nitou swore as he walked forward before his umbrella was caught in the wind and broke apart.
Thankfully Nitou had managed to find shelter in a ramen cart as it had rain protectors, and he was seated on the bench.
"Welcome!" The owner and cook welcome the primordial mage.
"A big helping of ramen!" Nitou requested.
"One big helping coming right up!" The owner said as he readies a bowl of ramen.
Nitou soon inserted the Griffin Ring into his Driver.
GRIFFIN
"I'm counting on you. Griffin-chan. Find a Phantom for me. Sorry about the rain." Nitou told his familiar as Griffin flies out of the protection of the rain cover, and tries to fight through the storm but Griffin is soon pushed back against it.
The owner soon placed Nitou's food on the table in front of him, and Nitou soon brought out a mayo bottle for ramen and picked up a pair of chopsticks as he broke it in two.
"Just watch, Itsuka Shido! I'm going to win this time! Win! Win!" Nitou swore as he poured his mayo on the ramen.
"Achoo!" Shido sneezed as he was standing in the kitchen.
"Shido, what's wrong? You're not catching a cold are you?" Tohka asked in worry as she and the others were in the living room while they were drying their hair with towels.
"No, I'm alright. I just have this feeling that someone was talking about me…" Shido told her as he was cooking some tonkatsu for everyone.
They were out doing some grocery shopping for dinner but that is when the storm had arrived, but thankfully they were to get back home safely. Shido let the girls take a bath first while he prepares dinner.
After Shido was done making the tonkatsu, he and the others were seated around the table with the tonkatsu on plates and bowls of rice.
"Itadakimasu!" They said as they clapped their hands and soon began eating.
"Yummy! Your cooking is always the best Shido!" Tohka said as she continued to eat and Yoshino was in agreement as she shook in her chair.
"But of course he is. My manservant is always second to none." Kaguya said as she took a bite of the tonkatsu.
"Reminder: I think you mean our manservant, Kaguya." Yuzuru told her sister.
"I don't recall ever being your guys' manservant." Shido said as he ate a piece of his own tonkatsu and some rice.
"Hey, Shido, can we add some mayo on these like Nitou did?" Tohka asked and Shido gave her a narrow.
"Yeah...no." Shido told her and Tohka was saddened to hear that.
"What? But why?" Tohka asked.
"Because, Tohka, I don't want you to follow his example, he's somewhat of a bad influence. Not only that putting mayonnaise on every food you eat is unhealthy." Shido said.
"Mou...Fine." Tohka said.
"That's pretty ironic coming from a guy who eats donuts every 24/7." Kotori stated.
"Hey, I don't need to hear that from a girl who eats lollipops way too often!" Shido told her sister.
"Oh don't you start with that!" Kotori said.
(Meanwhile)
In the city Phoenix was seen walking through the city as he looks annoyed right now as he remembers his meeting with Wiseman.
(Flashback)
"What do you mean I can't go?!" Phoenix said as he was standing in front of Wiseman's bedchambers as the latter was standing in front of the Immortal Phantom with his back against him. "I'm several times...no, dozens of times stronger than before."
Phoenix soon changes into his Phantom form.
"This time I'll get that Wizard bastard!" Phoenix swore to his master.
"Phoenix." Wiseman said as he turned his head at Phoenix and told him these words. "Don't do anything that would interfere with Medusa's work. Your time will come."
Phoenix tightly clenches his hand before he turns away from Wiseman.
(End of flashback)
"Damn Wiseman…" Phoenix mutters in both annoyance and frustration as his patient was wearing thin.
Phoenix then kicks on a car in frustration which got the attention of a few delinquentes who were in a convenience store as they walked out of the store to confront the Phantom in disguise.
"Hey! You got a problem with my car old man?!" One of them asked.
"But if you like kicking that must...how about we kick you in return?!" One of them kicks Phoenix on the arm, but the Phantom hardly felt that as the delinquente that kicked him lowered his foot.
"So you wanna play?" Phoenix asked.
Then Phoenix had fought the delinquentes as he threw them across the area, and two were into the windows of their car which set off the alarm.
Rinne was seen in her room drying her hair after taking her bath.
"Ahhh...nothing beats a hot bath after a rainy day." Rinne said in bliss before she heard the car alarm. "What the…?"
Rinne opened the covers of her window, that's when she saw the delinquents lying on the ground and two were in the windows of their car, her eyes widened but what really caught Rinne's attention was Phoenix as he left.
"That was boring. They were all talk." Phoenix stated before he stops and screams in frustration.
Rinne could only look at him wondering why he looks so agitated.
(Trust in you by sweet ARMS)
(Instrumental) (As the song begins the screen lowered to a metallic tree with seed-shape devices attached to it, and the tree itself was attached to a shipe.)
(Next we see Tohka, Yoshino, and Kotori wearing their Astral Dresses gently falling and landing on the ground as they turn to the screen as it zooms to their faces.)
(Next we see three more Spirits falling and landing to the ground, as it zooms to their hair as we couldn't see their faces.)
(Next to appear is Origami and Mana wearing their Realizer suits, as it zooms to Origami's mouth and to Mana's face.)
(Next to appear is Kurumi wielding both of her guns as she is surrounded by her clones, as it zooms to her face as she is smiling and her bangs cover her eyes.)
(Next to appear is the Fraxinus crew as the screen zooms to Kyouhei and Reine's faces.)
(Next to appear is Isaac Westcott and Ellen Mathers, before it zooms to their faces but their eyes were covered as Isaac had a smile on his face.)
(Last but not least, Shido appeared as he wears his Flame Style Ring and scanned it on his Driver and transformed into Kamen Rider Wizard, as the screens zoomed out as he transformed and showed his Ring, before it zooms out further as his friends were standing beside him.)
(Fate subete wa hitsuzen? Hikare au you na deai (Deai). Tsunagaru sutourii) (In the city, Tohka was jumping off of her as her name appeared on screen before she runs forward and Yoshino and Yoshinon notice her running past as Yoshino was kneeling on the ground talking to her puppet friend as their names appeared one at a time and Yoshino soon stands up and followed Tohka.)
(Ne kono mune no kodou. Rikai dekinai nara (Up to you). Kono mama ochiteyuku dake) (Kotori was watching as she was leaning on a tree while enjoying her candy as her name appeared before she pulled her candy out and took her leave. Across the street, Origami was walking forward as her name appeared on screen. Then we see Koyomi, Rinne, and Mikie in Omokagedo talking to each other as their names appear, next we see Wajima bringing them some tea before he trips and falls as his name appears on screen.)
(Saa erande suriruna deto hajimemashou) (Kurumi was seen standing on top of a building as her name appears as she was looking up at an airship as its shadow appeared on the building. Shido was seen on street level as he was adjusting his Flame Ring before his name appeared on screen, and he soon noticed something flying in the air and saw it was the AST as they headed out to deal with a Spirit.)
(Hanasu tabi fureru tabi warau tabi mezamete. Ku kono omoi kesshite yuzurenai kara) (Next we see a flashback where Shido and Tohka were walking together as she was enjoying her kinako bread. Wizard was then seen riding his Machine Winger forward as the zooms out from his face, before it changes to Shido and his friends having breakfast together, and then they were setting up for a party with their classmates, and then to them looking at Tengu City on their favorite park. Soon following Wizard was Kotori and Yoshino with their Angels out as Kotori was flying above the Rider and Yoshino was riding on Zadkiel beside him. Then it changes to Shido and Tohka riding in a tram together as Tohka leans her head on his shoulder.)
(Hajimete konnani sunao ni soba ni itai to omou kimi ni deaetakara) (Then it changes to Wiseman along with his Phantom Generals, Medusa and Phoenix. Then as Wizard, Kotori, and Yoshino were moving forward, the Yamai twins flew above them forcing them to split up, next we see Miku riding on a road in the shape of a piano keyboard, next we see Mana flying above them. Next we see the silhouette of a new Kamen Rider and behind him was a giant lion with wings, and changes to the mysterious Phantom Sora as he was chuckling. Then Origami was seen clashing swords against Ellen.)
(Then finally we see the backside of an unknown Spirit that resembles Tohka as Wizard armed with Sandalphon stood in front of her.)
(Then we see Tohka falling towards Wizard as they grab each other's hand in a finger lock.)
(Shinjitaino Date A Live) (Tohka was smiling at Wizard and he was smiling under his helmet as he gently helped her land on her feet, and then the title appeared on screen as everything turned white behind it.)
(Next day)
Standing outside of their house was a young married couple. The husband was ready to leave for work as he was standing next to his car, while his wife was standing in front of him as she was holding his bento but refused to hand it over to him.
"Come on, Shiho." The husband requested as he reached out his hand for his lunch.
"Well, Hisa-kun, you'll leave if I give this to you." Shiho told her husband as she hid the bento behind her back.
"Oh, Shiho, whatever will I do with you?" Hisa said as he walks in front of his wife and grabs hold of her shoulders. "Here's a charm to keep you from being lonely."
Hisa then kisses Shiho on the forehead.
"Mou! Oh well!" Shiho said as she took a step back as Hisa let go of her and she gave him the bento. "Here."
"Alright. I'm off." Hisa said as he accepted his lunch as Shiho's phone started to ring.
"Have a safe trip. Hurry back." Shiho said as she brought out her phone to see who's calling her.
"Sure." Hisa said as he entered his car and Shiho answered her phone.
"Hello? Miho? Yeah, that's right." Shiho said.
"Yeah, Nao! It surprised me!" Shiho said talking with another friend on her phone as she was making the bed.
Her and Hisa's bedroom has many items that resemble pink animals and has a pink blanket and a matching bed, and has a picture of her wedding hanging on the wall.
"Yukki? Mami too?" Shiho said, talking to another friend and two.
She was in the laundry room as she throws the dirty laundry into the washer, and like her bedroom it was filled with items based out of pink animals and has a statue of a pig hanging on the ceiling, and there was also another picture of her wedding in a frame as it showed her kissing her husband on the cheek which he enjoyed.
She was now vacuuming the living room which had items based out of pink animals.
"I'm visiting Ai-chan's home." Shiho said speaking with another friend as she was washing the dishes which were also based out of pink animals along with other items that were in the kitchen.
"You should come too, Juri." Shiho said speaking with another friend as she was hanging the laundry outside of her house with pink hangers.
"I can't believe it's this time already?!" Shiho said, talking with another friend as she turns to the clock.
She was in her room seated in front of her makeup table with a mirror. She was wearing fancy and expensive clothes, and has pink items and animals on it along with another wedding picture of her husband carrying her in his arms.
With that she opens the door of her house and jumps out of it as she was ready to start her day like usual.
She was walking through the city and near to the waterfront while taxing her friends with her phone, but soon stopped as she heard someone humming beside her.
Shiho stops and turns to see a Phantom looking at her as he is leaning on a pillar as several Ghouls walk towards her.
The Phantom looks like a demon, and his body was colored in bronze with silver parts and lines on his body, he also had large shoulder pads and a golden chestplate with a green jewel, he also had black fur on his forearms and legs, and had sharp teeth with green eyes.
This is the Phantom, Beelzebub.
Seeing the Phantom and Ghouls frighten Shiho as she screams in fear and drops her phone, as she runs away but bumps into a wall.
"Let me see you when you're most beautiful…" Beelzebub said as he swung his arms similar to a music conductor using a baton, as Shiho ran around in fear. "...when your face is twisted in fear and despair."
As the Ghouls were getting closer to Shiho they were soon fired upon as they fell to the ground.
Soon arriving to Shiho's aid was Shido armed with his gun and wearing his Driver as Tohka and Yoshino were with him.
"I've heard of hitting on women, but this is too much!" Shido said as he faced Beelzebub as Tohka and Yoshino ran and checked on Shiho.
Beelzebub chuckles to see Shido as his Ghouls slowly stand back up.
"So it's the Yubiwa no Mahōtsukai?" Beelzebub said and Shido spun his gun with his finger as he pointed it upward.
"Bingo." Shido said as he flips the switches of his Driver.
SHABADOOBIE TOUCH TO HENSHIN
Shido soon puts on his Hurricane Ring.
"Henshin." Shido said as he flips the goggles of his Ring and scans the Ring on his Driver.
HURRICANE, PLEASE: FU FU FU FU FU FU
Shido brings out a magic circle above his head as he transforms into Wizard in Hurricane Style.
But seeing his transformation frightens Shiho once again as she screams in fear as she falls on her rear which surprised Tohka and Yoshino as they stepped away from her.
Wizard flicks his robe-waist as he changes to his gun's sword mode and holds in a reverse grip.
"Get him. Ghouls!" Beelzebub ordered the Ghouls as they were now back on their feet and soon showed his back against Wizard.
The Ghouls soon bring out their spears as Beelzebub raises his arms and moves them in a pattern of a music conductor and the Ghouls soon charge at Wizard.
Wizard soon engages in battle against the Ghouls as he slashes and kicks on them while parrying their attacks before he grabs hold Ghoul's spear and runs to a nearby table and bench.
Wizard slashes one Ghoul in front and slashes on another behind him. Wizard slashes one Ghoul on the table and parries another's attack with his sword, and kicks one Ghoul on the leg as it climbs on the table as it falls on it before the Rider rolled on that table to slash another Ghoul and jumps one another table to slash one Ghoul on the chest.
Soon three Ghouls with transformed arm-guns gathered together in front of Wizard and fire fireballs at him and Wizard was able to deflect their shots with his sword added with some wind power as he spun and created a tornado around himself as he flew up in the air and change his sword to its gun mode and fired upon the Ghouls below him as they exploded.
Beelzebub pauses for a moment before he continues his movement.
"Here's our chance. This way!" Tohka told Shiho as she and Yoshino began to run away from the battle, or at least they should've as Shiho heard her phone ringing and said.
"You've got mail."
"Oh, wait! I've got an email." Shiho said as she turned and ran to her phone.
"Email…?" Yoshino mutters as she and Tohka follow her as Shiho picks her phone up.
Beelzebub hummed as he noticed that as he turned to the Gate.
"Forgot that! Hurry up!" Tohka tells her as she grabs hold of the housewife and drags her away.
"This is getting interesting." Beelzebub said as he walked to the Gate and Spirits.
"It's dangerous! This way! This way!" Tohka told her as she, Yoshino, and Shiho soon left.
Wizard parries one Ghoul's attack and slashes on it sending the Ghoul rolling on the ground, and its remaining siblings gathered around the down Ghoul as they stood and faced Wizard.
Wizard soon resets his Driver and scans his Big Ring on it.
BIG, PLEASE
Wizard brings out a magic circle beside him as he places his arm through it to enlarge it into a giant arm. Wizard soon raises his giant arm up and slams it down on the Ghouls in front of him, destroying them.
Wizard's arm turned back to normal size but soon noticed that the Phantom was now gone.
"Where'd he go?" Wizard said in wondering as he looked around for the Phantom.
After Beelzebub had disappeared, Shido and his friends had brought Shiho to a cafe which was based around rock music as they were playing the said music as they were seated on a table with Shido and Shiho ordering coffee while Yoshino had a cup of juice and Tohka had ordered some sandwiches.
Shido was speaking with Kotori on his earpiece as she and the Fraxinus crew were on the lookout for the Phantom or any signs of Ghouls.
"Well, Kotori, find anything?" Shido asked.
"We did a sweep of the area. You're in the clear for now, but we'll let you know if we find anything." Kotori told him.
"Thanks." Shido said as he ended the transmission as Shiho was trying to message her friends but she doesn't have a reception in the building.
"Argh, I can't get any reception!" Shiho whined as she leaned on her chair.
"You're more worried about your phone than your own life? Man you're stupid! Hahaha!" Yoshinon said as Yoshino was drinking her juice before she stopped.
"Yoshinon, you shouldn't say such things…" Yoshino told her puppet and friend.
"Not that I'm agreeing with Yoshinon, but you do understand that you're being targeted, right?" Shido asked, as Shiho as she now tries to call her husband. "But don't worry. I swear to protect you-"
"Hello? Hisa-kun?" Shiho said as her husband answered her call. "It's the worst...Monsters just attacked me."
"She's not listening…" Shido said as he added some sugar to his coffee and Tohka was eating her sandwiches.
"No! It's not a joke. You're my husband, so you should believe me! I was so scared!" Shiho said.
"I guess she likes talking to so many people." Tohka said with some food in her mouth before she swallows.
"Seems like it." Shido said as he mixes the sugar in his coffee with a spoon.
Shiho then notices the time on a nearby clock.
"Oh, it's this time! Sorry, I'll call later." Shiho told her husband as she ended the call and stood up to gather her things. "Oh no. I've got a lunch date with my friends."
Shido soon stood up and was about to leave but Tohka who finished her sandwiches stood up and got into Shiho's way from the door to prevent her from leaving.
"Wait a moment, Shiho-san! Did you hear what we said?" Shido asked as he feels a little stressed right now.
"Yeah! That Phantom might come back for you!" Tohka tells her and Shiho turns to the ringed mage.
"But...if I broke my promise and my friends got angry with me...I would be…" Shiho said as she began to cry as she fell on her knees and Tohka was a little worried to see her like this.
"I'm the one who wants to cry!" Shido whined as this Gate was going to be troublesome.
"Oh boy...This is going to be a problem…" Yoshinon mutters as she rubs the back of her head.
"Ummm...Shido-san, what should we do?" Yoshino asked and Shido sighed.
"Guess there's no choice here." Shido said as he stood up and walked to Shiho. "Fine, fine, fine! We'll go with you."
Thanks to that, Shiho had stopped crying as she turned to them.
(Meanwhile)
The Phantom, Beelzebub, was seen in human form of a man in his 30s with short black hair and eyes, and was wearing a music conductor's clothes and holding a baton in his hand.
Beelzebub was in another building tabbing his baton on a table while humming as he saw Shido, his friends, and Shiho leaving the coffee as they headed to Shiho's destination.
With Beelzebub right now, were the Phantom Generals Medusa and Phoenix.
"It looks like you have some sort of plan...Beelzebub." Medusa stated.
"I suppose." Beelzebub told her and Phoenix huffed to hear that.
"You probably could have driven her to despair by just threatening her life." Phoenix told him.
"This is my preferred way." Beelzebub told him as he turned away from the windows. "I love taking my time to make them suffer. Like slowly strangling someone with a silk thread. Well, I suppose a rampaging barbarian like you wouldn't understand."
"What was that?" Phoenix asked as he was offended to hear that.
Beelzebub then changes to his Phantom form and Phoenix soon punches at him but Beelzebub protects himself by creating two portals as Phoenix's fist and arm went through the one in front of the Phantom and his arm was sticking out through the other portal behind him as it appeared in front of Medusa's face.
Phoenix was stunned by this as he pulled his arm back and Medusa smiles knowing that Shido will finally meet his match. Beelzebub chuckles as he turns to Phoenix.
(Meanwhile)
Rinne was humming as she walked through the city as she entered a flower shop as the owner of it saw and welcomed her.
"Oh Rinne-chan welcome." The owner greeted her.
"Hello, Sakurai-san. I'm here to pick up Kaa-san's usually soil and fertilizer." Rinne told him.
"Coming right up." The owner said as he began to gather the supplies.
As Rinne waited she looked around the shop to admire the pretty flowers and plants in the room before she spotted a picture hanging on the wall before she walked up to closely look at it.
"That man is…" Rinne mutters.
(Back with Shido)
"Wait a moment!" Shido calls out as he, Tohka, and Yoshino follow Shiho to a formal restaurant.
As they head to the door, the restaurant's doorman opens the door for Shiho as she runs inside and Shido and his friends are about to run in after her but the doorman stops them as he walks in front of them.
"Dear guests." He said before he coughs in his hand. "Those clothes are a bit...well…"
Shido, Tohka, and Yoshino look at their clothes before the ringed mage turns to the doorman.
"Clothes? These are no good?" Shido asked.
"Is there really something wrong with my clothes?" Tohka asked, a little sad to hear that.
"Don't worry Tohka, you look fine." Shido assured her and Tohka smiled to hear that.
"Really? I'm glad to hear that!" Tohka said.
"Hey, Baka-Shido," Kotori calls out to Shido in his earpiece. "In case you didn't notice it's a formal restaurant. Which means only one thing."
"Oh I see now." Shido said in understanding.
Shido soon changes to his Dress Up Ring and scans it on his belt.
DRESS UP, PLEASE
A magic circle appeared in front of Shido as it spun around his body, and Shido was now wearing a tuxedo with a top hat on his head and a cane in his hand as Shido did some tap dancing.
"Welcome." The doorman allowed Shido into the building as he was now wearing the right clothes for the restaurant.
Tohka and Yoshino were about to enter as well but the doorman stopped them as he raised his hand in front of them.
"Ladies."
"I'm sorry that I'm late!" Shiho said as she entered a dinning room where her friends were waiting for her as they were talking with each other.
Her friends stopped talking as they turned to the young housewife, but soon ignored her as they began talking with each other again while enjoying the good drinks in their cups.
"Ah...Umm…" Shiho calls out to her friends but they continue to ignore her. "I mentioned it in my email...I was attacked by monsters. Hey. Do you think I'm lying?" Shiho asked as she walked around the table her friends were seated on as they continued to ignore her.
'Oh, how annoying.' One of her friends thought and others soon began to say these things in their minds as well.
'Don't act so important.'
'Get lost!'
'Get lost!'
"That's when I skinned my knee." Shiho calls out to her friends as Shido soon arrives as he enters the room.
"Hello." Shido greeted the young women. "Umm...she's not lying. She's telling the-"
"What the hell?!" Shiho exclaimed, stopping Shido as he turned to her. "I nearly died. So there's no reason to get so mad just because I'm a little late!"
Shiho soon runs out of the room as Shido watches her leave.
"Hey!" Shido calls out as she leaves the room and soon follows the Gate as he turns to the young women. "What the hell?"
Shido and Shiho were now back outside as she was seated on a bench hugging her legs while texting another group of her friends. Shido then begins to explain what happened in the restaurant to Tohka and Yoshino.
"For real?!" Yoshinon asked loudly before Shido and Yoshino covered the puppet's mouth.
Shiho soon begins to cry that her friends had ignored her like that.
"I wonder why they did that?" Tohka said.
"Beats me." Shido shrugged. "But she's in shock because of the sudden cancellation. Hey, Shiho-san. It's dangerous out here. Let's go to Omokagedo-"
That is when someone had Shiho as she quickly answered it and placed her phone by her ear.
"Hello?! Yeah. Right now? I'll go! I'll go! I'll go!" Shiho said as she suddenly cheered up and stood up and rushed to her next meeting spot leaving Shido, Tohka, Yoshino and Yoshinon a little confused as they turned back and forth at each other and Shiho.
"Again?!" The four of them said at the same time.
The Phantom Generals, Medusa and Phoenix were in another building after their meeting with Beelzebub. Phoenix was still enraged by Beelzebub's attitude towards him.
"That damn Beelzebub! He always pisses me off! I'm not a rampaging barbarian! I just like to rampage!" Phoenix said as the door was opening beside as Medusa walks through it.
"Then show him." Medusa told him which got Phoenix's attention. "Use a plan where you properly use your brain. I'll let you know when I find the next Gate."
"When will that be?" Phoenix asks and Medusa chuckles in amusement, and Phoenix clicks his tongue as he turns away from her. "That bastard. I'll definitely show him!"
Shido and his friends had followed Shiho to a building where she was doing a dance class with another group of her friends as they were dancing together.
Shido and his friends were watching Shiho and the others dancing by the door, and Tohka was amazed by their dance movements and wanted to join them but Shido held her back.
"Calm down, Tohka. You shouldn't interrupt them." Shido told her.
"I know...but it looks so fun." Tohka said as she whined a little.
"Once this is over, I'll talk to Kotori about setting up a class for you." Shido told her.
"Really?! Yay!" Tohka cheered as she raised her arms.
Shido then looked at Shiho as she was dancing with her friends as she was wearing a pink tracksuit.
"But still, is it normal to dance in this kind of situation?" Shido said in wondering.
"Maybe...having friends around helps take her mind off it." Yoshino said.
"Yeah! We should know, having you guys as our friends!" Yoshinon said in agreement.
Shido was still left wondering what Beelzebub had planned as he looked around the area for the Phantom and any signs of Ghouls but so far there was none.
As the song had reached its end they soon finished their dance routine as they sighed in relief that it's over now.
"Yuukorin, I did the whole thing!" Shiho said as she turned to one of her friends as the others began talking with each other. "Yuukorin, you're really good! Yuukorin."
Yuukorin didn't bother to respond as she simply stared at her with disgust and mockingly chuckled at her before she turned and hugged another group of her friends as they laughed together.
Shiho was stunned by this as she noticed that her other friends ignored her as they were talking with each other in groups.
"Hey. Hey." Shiho calls out to them but her friends continue to ignore her as they still continue to talk with each other. "Hey, come on."
That is when Shido and the two Spirits started to notice that Shiho's friends were acting strangely as they ignored her.
"What the hell?!" Shiho shouted, getting everyone's attention as they turned to her, but soon turned away from her as they resumed talking with each other. "Did I do something wrong?! If so, I'll apologize! Hey! Tell me! Hey!"
Shiho runs up and hugs one of her friends but she pushes her away as Shiho falls to the floor. Seeing that surprised Shido and his friends as they walked to Shiho to check on her.
"Shiho-san, are you okay?" Tohka asked as she and Yoshino knelt down to her.
Shido looks at Shiho's friends before he turns back to the young housewife.
"Why? Why is everyone ignoring me?!" Shiho asked as she stood up and ran out of the room.
"Hey, wait!" Tohka calls out as she and Yoshino follow her as Shido stays behind.
"Hey, you shouldn't do that. We're all grownups here." Shido said as he walked in front of one group of Shiho's friends but soon noticed that something was off with them as they had a dazed look on their faces like they were hypnotized.
Shido turns to the others in the room as they have similar looks on their faces.
(With Rinne)
The picture that got Rinne's attention was with the owner of the shop and his staff as they won a prize together, and one of them was Phoenix in human form as he was smiling happily with them.
Rinne explained what she saw in her neighborhood last night and wanted to know more about the man in the picture.
"You're saying you saw him after he got into a fight last night?" He asked and Rinne nodded.
"Hai. I'm sure it was him. What's his name?" Rinne asked and the owner took the picture off the hanger as he answered her question.
"Fujita Yuugo. But I doubt it was him. He isn't a violent guy." He told her as he hands Rinne the picture so she could look at it more closely.
Rinne then remembers Phoenix screaming last night.
"What kind of person is he?" Rinne asked.
"He's easygoing and a hard worker." He said as he folded his arms and remembered the times Yuugo worked in his shop where he was making bouquets of flowers for a woman's mother and happily gifted it to her. "He said that he loved flowers ever since he was a child. He worked harder than I was paying him for."
He then remembers the times where Yuugo had taken care of the flowers as he gently waters them.
"His dream was to own his own shop someday."
This made Rinne even more curious as he remembers his behavior last night as he was screaming before she turned to the flower shop owner.
"Where is he now?" Rinne asked.
"Who knows? He didn't even quit. He just suddenly stopped coming to work. I couldn't get in contact with him. I'm worried he got caught in some accident." He told her.
"When did this happen?" Rinne asked.
"Oh...was it last spring? Oh. It was right before that solar eclipse." He answered, and that really got Rinne's attention as that was the same day where the Phantom Ritual took place.
"It can't be…" Rinne mutters.
Phoenix was standing on the roof of a building as he was leaning on the metal railing and tapping his foot, but that's when he noticed something down below in street level.
He saw Rinne leaving the flower shop and walked to another location as Phoenix was watching her.
"Oh, that girl…" Phoenix said as he recognizes her being a friend of Shido's, and that gave him an idea. "That's it."
Shiho didn't bother to change clothes as she headed to the escalator as Tohka and Yoshino followed her.
"Wait a moment, Shiho-san. It's dangerous alone." Tohka told her as they rode down the escalator.
"That's right...That Phantom is still after you." Yoshino told her.
"I'm only alone because everyone left me!" Shiho stated. "Why did they suddenly start ignoring me? Have they always thought I was annoying? I have no idea!"
"Hey, it's okay! You're not alone, Shiho-san. We're here, right?" Yoshinon asked. "Even Shido-kun is with you too."
Shido had caught them as he walked onto the escalator to ride on it to follow Tohka and the others.
"Yeah, Yoshinon's right. You're absolutely...not alone. Okay?" Tohka said as they arrived on the floor as they stepped off of the escalator.
Shiho was left wondering about that before she nodded and started to feel better.
"Thanks." Shiho told them.
Tohka and Yoshino smiled that they managed to help as Shido had arrived on the floor as he stepped off the escalator.
But then their eyes light up in a different color as they frown at Shiho, and Tohka pushes Shiho to the floor.
"Hey, what are you doing, Tohka?" Shido said as he walked to her.
"Stupid! Like we actually meant it!" Yoshinon said as she moved in front of Shiho's face. "But it was a lot of fun playing you like that! It just proves you're really a moron! Moron! Moron! Hahaha!"
"Yoshinon, what's wrong with you?" Shido asked.
"Why?! Why?! I can't take it anymore!" Shiho said in despair as she stood up and ran away.
"Shiho-san!" Shido said before he turns to Tohka and grabs hold of her shoulders. "Hey!"
Shido then notices the dazed looks on Tohka and Yoshino faces before both girls flinch as they feel a painful headache.
'Those eyes...I'm sure of it now.' Shido thought as he now understands what's going on here.
(Meanwhile)
Rinne had arrived at the address of Fujita Yuugo's home, after she asked the flower shop owner where he lived. It was an apartment building set on the outskirts of the city.
"This is the place." Rinne said as she looked at the picture of Fujita Yuugo, and remembered the owner's description of him.
"He's easygoing and a hard worker."
'Maybe Fujita Yuugo is also…' Rinne thought as she remembered him screaming last night. '...a Phantom.'
Rinne soon brings out her phone to call Shido but stops as she puts her phone away and walks to the apartment complex. Unknown to Rinne is that someone was spying on her.
Rinne stops in front of the dark stairway going up and after finding her courage she slowly walks up the stairs.
Rinne soon arrives at the top of the stairs as she walks into the hallway where she will find Fujita Yuugo's room and soon finds the door that leads to it.
Rinne then knocks on the door.
"Fujita-san, are you there?" Rinne calls out before she knocks on the door again. "Fujita Yuugo-san?"
Then the door slowly begins to open, which frightens Rinne as she steps back and sees that no one has opened the door. Rinne soon brings out a bottle of pepper spray that her mother gave her for her own protection, and soon looks into the room cautiously but couldn't see anyone inside.
"Fujita-san?" Rinne calls out as she opens the door and unknown to her is that Phoenix was standing behind. "Fujita-san?"
Then Phoenix grabs onto her as Rinne turns to the Phantom.
In the hospital where Shiho's husband works as a doctor, Hisa left his office and entered the reception room.
"Making a house call." Hisa told the receptionist as she was doing her nails.
"Hai…"
As Hisa walked to the door his wife soon arrived and saw him.
"Aaaahhhh! Hisa-kun!" Shiho walks in front of her husband as he stops walking as she grabs onto him. "Save me, Hisa-kun! Everyone's acting strangely! Everyone's ignoring me! Hisa-kun, you're the only one I can rely on!"
Shiho hugs onto her husband but Hisa pushes her down to a nearby bench, and Shiho sees the look on her husband's face as he huffs in annoyance and leaves her.
"Hisa-kun! Hisa-kun!" Shiho calls out as she follows her husband.
Hisa was in the parking lot as he left by driving his car, that is when Shiho ran beside it and called out to her husband through the window.
"Hisa-kun, wait! Hisa-kun!" But Hisa continues to ignore her as he pushes her away with his car as she falls to the ground as he continues to drive away. "Hisa-kun! Hisa-kun!"
Hisa soon leaves the parking lot, leaving Shiho in dismay as she was saddened by her husband's change in attitude like her friends.
"I can't believe it. Hisa-kun too?!" Shiho cries in sadness and unknown is that Beelzebub was watching her as he was leaning on a wall.
"Poor thing. Everyone finds you annoying. That's all." Beelzebub stated as Shiho turns to the Phantom as he chuckles in amusement. "Now let your loneliness drive you to despair!"
Shiho soon begins to cry on the ground.
"Now...fall to despair." Beelzebub told her as he walked to the Gate.
"Stop!" Beelzebub stopped as he saw Shido had arrived wearing his Driver. "You're the one who made Shiho-san feel alone!"
Beelzebub chuckles as Shiho raises her head when she hears that.
"That Phantom has been controlling everyone." Shido told her.
"Oh? Do you have proof that I did it?" Beelzebub asked, acting innocent.
"Do you have proof that you didn't?" Shido said as he walked forward and Beelzebub chuckled as he lowered his arm and turned to Shido.
"Guess I don't."
Shido walks in front of Shiho to protect as he faces the Phantom.
"Wait, Shiho-san. I'll force him to tell me how to make everyone normal again." Shido told her as he put on his Flame Ring and flipped the switches of his Driver.
SHABADOOBIE TOUCH TO HENSHIN
"Henshin." Shido said as he flips the goggles of his Ring and scans it on his Driver.
FLAME, PLEASE: HI HI HI HI HI
Shido transforms into Wizard and charges at Beelzebub to battle the Phantom.
Beelzebub raised his arms and soon a group of Ghouls appeared in front of Wizard as he dodged their attacks and Wizard landed a few kicks on them.
Wizard and the Ghouls move away from Shiho and Beelzebub as Wizard flips to dodge a Ghoul's attack and kicks it on the head, and flips again to land another kick on a Ghoul and land another kick on a Ghoul sending it to the ground.
Wizard then lands a reverse spin kick on one Ghoul in front of him and grabs onto its head as he throws the Ghoul to the ground as he flips and let's go of the Ghoul's head.
Wizard then back kicks one Ghouls coming up behind him and flips over to kick one Ghoul on the head sending it to the ground. Wizard then lands a reverse spin kick on another Ghoul sending it flying as it crashes into a pile of boxes.
"Time to smash." Wizard said as he changes to his Excite Ring and resets his Driver to scan the Ring on it.
EXCITE, PLEASE
A magic circle appeared beneath Wizard's feet as it went through his body as he changed into his muscular form.
Using his enhance strength, Wizard kicks on two Ghouls destroying them as they exploded, and grabs onto one Ghoul and throws at the ceiling which destroyed it as it exploded, and Wizard grabs onto one's spear to throw at the ceiling as it exploded, and smashes his hand on a Ghoul sending it to the ground and stomps his foot on it to destroy it.
Then the remaining Ghouls swung their spears on Wizard's body, but the magic theme Rider didn't even feel it as he withstood their attacks and pushed them away which destroyed them as the Ghouls exploded.
After that his body returned to its normal size and shape.
"I'll never get tired of that." Wizard said as he laughed.
Wizard soon saw another group of Ghouls heading towards him and Wizard dodged their attacks as he landed a few hits on them.
That is when Nitou, wearing his Driver, being led by Griffin, arrives as he calls out to Wizard.
"Hey, Itsuka Shido!" Wizard soon notices him as he grabs onto a Ghoul's spear.
"He showed up!" Wizard said as he kicked one charging Ghoul and threw the one he was holding away.
"It's no use trying to get ahead of me!" Nitou told him.
"No, I'll never-" Wizard said as he parried a Ghoul's spear and dodges another's as he grabs onto its spear.
"I know! I know! Say no more!" Nitou told him as he raised his hand in front of him. "Buuuut...I'm going to make up for it."
Wizard then brings the Ghoul close to him as he brings its spear on its neck.
"Whatever." Wizard told him.
Nitou soon raises his hand and swings his arms around.
"Hennnnnnn~shin!" Nitou said as he struck his pose and inserted his Beast Ring into his Driver.
SET, O~PEN! L-I-O-N: LION
Nitou soon transforms into Beast.
"Lunchtime!" Beast declares as he charges at the Ghouls and kicks one of them on the chest and soon both Riders begin to battle the Ghouls as they dodge and parry their attacks while landing a few good hits on them.
Beast dodges one Ghoul's spear thrust and slams his knee on its stomach and dodges another Ghoul's attack as he jumps onto a support pillar and slams onto that Ghoul sending it to the ground.
Beast then noticed a Ghoul charging behind him to attack and Beast was able to grab onto its spear and throw him over his body.
Beast quickly stood up to parry another Ghoul's attack and land a kick on its head.
Knowing that Beast will handle the Ghouls, Wizard brings out his sword to battle Beelzebub.
"I'll leave them to you." Wizard told Beast as he charged at the Phantom.
"Coming this way?" Beelzebub asked as he dodge a slash from Wizard.
Wizard slash at his legs but Beelzebub dodge that as he kicks at Wizard which he blocked his kicks in time. Beelzebub punches at Wizard and he deflects his attack with his sword as he slashes the Phantom as he spun it around and Beelzebub kept on dodging his attacks.
"Itsuka Shido! He's my meal!" Beast told Wizard as he kicked one Ghoul. "Leave him for me!"
Beast dodges another Ghoul's attack and kicks it away.
Beast soon changes to his Chameleo Ring and inserts it into his Driver.
CHAMELEO, GO: CHA-CHA-CHA-CHA CHAMELEO
Beast's Chameleo Mantle appeared on his shoulder before he stretched out its tongue to strike the Ghouls like a whip and grabbed onto four of them with it before he crashed the Ghouls with it, destroying them as they exploded and Beast soon devoured their mana with his Driver.
Beelzebub brings out his sword.
"Come on!" Beelzebub said as he dodges a slash from Wizard and slashes on his chest two times which sends Wizard stumbling to a wall.
Wizard soon changes to his Flame Dragon Ring and resets his Driver to scan the Ring.
FLAME, DRAGON: Bou Bou Bou Bou Bou
Wizard walks through a magic circle as he changes into his Flame Dragon Style.
Wizard soon charges at Beelzebub to battle him as the Phantom calmly waits for him.
"This way." Beelzebub said as he and Wizard engaged in a sword fight as they clashed blades several times.
"Me too then!" Beast said as he changed to his Buffa Ring and inserted it into his Driver.
BUFFA, GO: BU-BU-BUBUBU BUFFA
Beast soon changes to his Buffa Mantle, and then dodges one Ghoul's attack and kicks one Ghoul behind him.
Beelzebub parried another slash from Wizard and Wizard was able to kick on the Phantom's legs forcing him to stumble back. Wizard spun his sword to stab at Beelzebub but then his eyes lit up as he created a portal in front of him as Wizard's arm and sword went through while another portal appeared behind Beast as Wizard's sword stabs onto his back.
"What?" Beast said as he turned at Wizard and Beelzebub.
Wizard quickly pulled his arm and sword out of the portal as it disappeared.
Wizard slashes at Beelzebub but the Phantom created another portal as Wizard's attack was redirected to Beast's back once again, and Wizard slashes at Beelzebub again but once again Beelzebub redirected it using his portals as it landed on Beast's chest.
"You're not hitting a mark!" Beelzebub said in a mocking tone.
Wizard stabs at the Phantom but Beelzebub redirects his attack using portals as it hits on Beast instead as he falls to the ground.
"Hey...What are you doing?" Beast asked as Wizard turned to him.
"But how?!" Wizard said in wonder as he turned back to Beelzebub.
"Attacks like that are no match for Beelzebub-sama!" Beelzebub proclaimed as he charges at Wizard.
Wizard slashes at Beelzebub but the Phantom dodges it by entering into his portal and soon appears behind Wizard and slashes him on the back.
Wizard turn around to slash at Beelzebub but the Phantom once again retreated into his portals and appeared behind Wizard to slash him on the back, and Wizard turned at Beelzebub to counterattack but Beelzebub slashes him on the chest sending Wizard rolling on the ground as he stops on his hands and knees before he stood up on his knee and foot.
In Omokagedo, both Koyomi and Wajima were watching Wizard's battle against Beelzebub in her crystal ball.
"Shido!" Koyomi said in worry.
In the Fraxinus, Kotori and the crew were watching Wizard's battle as well.
"Come on, Shido, pull it together!" Kotori said.
Wizard dodges a kick from Beelzebub and they clash swords several times before the Phantom is able to land a slash on Wizard's chest followed with a kick that sends Wizard rolling on the ground.
Wizard quickly stood back up and showed his Connect Ring.
"Then take this!" Wizard said as the screen pauses.

(Sore wa sore wa hatenai tabi. Kimi wo sukuu yūsha no monogatari.) (The screen showed the starry night sky above Tengu City, and then it lowered to Wizard's back as he was standing before it moved to his face as Wizard raised his head as the sun rose in front of him.)
(Aru otogi no kuni Tabidatsu wa yūsha) (Next it changes to the park where Shido and Tohka had their first date, as we see two Wizards striking a pose in Flame Style and Flame Dragon Style before we Yoshinon holding the Water Style Ring appearing on the screen as it change the background.)
(Sōgen kakenuke Mezasu wa ohime-sama) (Next we see Arubi Island and show two Wizards in Water Style and Water Dragon Style striking a pose, and next Tohka appears as she wears the Hurricane Style Ring as the background changes.)
(Makkura na dōkutsu kaze fuki-areru yama koeteku) (Next we see it was night time in Tengu City as the screen showed DEM's Japan Branch, and two Wizards in Hurricane Style and Hurricane Dragon Style standing on top of another building striking a pose, before Origami appeared wearing the Land Style Ring as the background changes to Tenguu Square and showed two Wizards in Land and Land Dragon Styles also striking a pose.)
(Tsurugi wo kazashite) (Sandalphone appears as it changes the screen, as we see Shido wounded and kneeling on the ground with the very same Angel in his hands as he had in front of him)
(Hitomi ni utsuru yūki no honō) (As Shido's powers healed his wounds, he looked up and stood on his feet.)
(Yami no te wo furi-harai kimi no te wo nigiru) (Next we see two hands appearing as they reach out and grab onto each other in a fingerlock and a brought light appears between them as it changes the screen white.)
(Ima datte yume datte tsurugi wo te ni. Kimi no koto mitsukeru yo yami wo saite. Taore tatte tsuraku tatte makenai kara. Kono te wo gyutto tsukamaete) Then it changes to a black sword floating in the starry night sky as the screen moves down, as it did the Yamai Twins appeared, then changes to Kotori in her commander outfit licking her candy, then we see Miku smiling at the screen, then change to Yoshino and Yoshinon smiling as well. Next Tohka appeared on screen but she was wearing a dark and different Astral Dress and had an expression that makes it seem like she was a different person. Next we see Kurumi's face appearing on screen as she moves away from it.)
(Kienai yūki no honō ga (Dead or Alive) (Then as Kurumi fades away, flames appear out of nowhere as it covers and changes the background.)
(Sekai terashite-iru) (It changes to Tohka and Shido standing on a beach as they watch the setting sun while holding hands.)
