Chapter 1219
Eye Opener
Sarah and Riley decided they were going to go to the front of the ship. They'd already eaten too much for breakfast. They didn't want a third breakfast in the main dining room with Derek and Kyle.
Holly was closest to Sarah and Riley as they exited the front of the buffet. She moved out in front of them.
Derek and Kyle decided to try out the main dining room.
Gail saw the group split. Derek and Kyle were headed in her direction. She waited to see if they would take the stairs or the elevator.
They headed for the stairs. Gail started down ahead of them.
Derek and Kyle already tried room service and the buffet, now they were headed for their third breakfast in the main dining room.
They stopped at the top of the stairway.
"Are you sure about this, bro?" Derek asked. "We need to go down about nine decks."
Kyle looked at the stairs and then looked over where the elevator was at. After his second breakfast in the morning, one choice seemed better than the other.
"You're right." Kyle said. "The elevator it is."
Derek was happy with the new choice.
As they approached the elevator, the door opened.
They weren't sure if Jim opened the door for them or not.'
"Now that's service." Derek said.
They were actually surprised someone was in it already.
Two young ladies moved off to one side to make room for them.
Gail already started down the stairs when they changed the route. She thought about going back. She decided she would try to stay ahead of them. She continued down to the next deck and approached the elevator.
The elevator stopped a few seconds later and the door opened. She hadn't pushed any buttons.
Derek and Kyle looked a little surprised to see her.
Gail stepped into the elevator and moved to the back. She noted there were two young ladies in their twenties already in the elevator with them.
Derek and Kyle saw both of the girls check Gail out as she entered the elevator. They seemed to concentrate on her bust size. It was apparent Gail's bust size was bigger than both of the girls combined. They weren't small either.
Gail noticed it too but made no comment. It seemed to happen all the time. It appeared many people were fascinated by her bust line. She wasn't really sure why. All females were the same. It was only size and shape that differed. Since hers were non-functional, she really didn't understand why human females shouldn't feel superior. Bust size didn't seem to be a hang up among other mammals.
The girls exited in three decks. They both took another look at Gail as they left.
Gail stood tall and arched her back slightly. She figured if they wanted to look, she might as well give them something to look at.
It was only the three of them for the rest of the ride down to the main dining room.
Kyle and Derek watched what the girls did and they both knew they'd done the same thing many times. It made them feel a little guilty, but not by much.
They both noticed Gail and Holly waited outside of the buffet when they were just there. There was one of them on each side of the buffet entrances.
Kyle didn't want Gail to have to wait outside while they ate.
"Since it's just the three of us, will you join us?" Kyle asked.
Derek liked the idea.
"It would make me feel better about it too." Derek said.
Gail checked to make sure she understood them correctly.
"Do you mean you want me to sit with you at your table?" Gail asked.
Kyle smiled.
"I'd like that." Kyle said.
Derek nodded.
"I would too." Derek said.
They were both surprised to see a smile blossom on Gail's face. She looked beautiful when she smiled. It was a genuine smile from her.
The smile quickly faded.
Gail didn't want to impose. She seldom even tried a taste of anything when she was out with Jesse. She wanted to respond with a diplomatic answer.
"I don't try much food." Gail said. "Maybe I should wait outside."
Kyle didn't give up easily.
"We can still sit together." Kyle said.
The smile returned to Gail's face.
Gail could see it was a genuine offer. She knew humans were uncomfortable with Terminators at first. Technically she was a Restorator. She'd never been a slave to Skynet. She'd been created by Mrs. Weaver in the alternate future. Savannah often reached out to her to be included in various activities. She'd been with most of the human females associated with the Resistance. None of them had a problem with her. She liked to be a part of things, just to be a part of things.
"Thank you." Gail said. "I'd like that."
Gail quickly checked her directives. Cameron recently changed the rules. Cameron removed the restriction for them to be with males. Previously they could only be with a female. Any female involved was supposed to be part of the Resistance, either directly or indirectly. The only male she could be with was John, if he asked her. If he asked her, she couldn't say 'no'.
She looked at Derek and Kyle. There were new possibilities available to her. An image of Sarah popped up on her HUD with a warning. She quickly decided Kyle was off limits. Derek and Riley popped up next. Both showed a positive match. An image of Precious appeared. She didn't want to mess anything up.
It would be a social interaction of Resistance members, not a date.
The elevator reached the main dining room deck.
Derek and Kyle both stepped back to the sides of the elevator.
"It's ladies first." Derek said as he extended his arm.
Gail smiled at him again.
She was pleased at the respect and courtesy the brothers showed her. She did simple body scans of Derek with thermal imagery. She was able to view all of his attributes. She could see that he wasn't currently ready for any type of sexual activity. The image of Precious popped up on her HUD again.
"Thank you." Gail said. "You're very polite. You're a gentleman."
Kyle tried to keep things light.
"He may be a lot of things. I don't think a gentleman is one of them." Kyle said.
Gail thought it was, even if it was something new.
"It is now." Gail said.
Derek looked at Kyle with his thumb and index finger like a gun and 'shot' at him.
Gail hoped Jesse would be with John. She would like to have the opportunity to be with both of them at the same time. She thought about what was currently happening on the ship. Jesse would be on in a few hours, maybe something would happen. Cameron seemed to push pretty hard on all of the girls. It appeared she'd struck 'pay dirt' with Sheila. She didn't want to think about Sheila right now.
They entered the main dining room and were given a window seat.
When they went to sit, Kyle held the chair for Gail.
Gail was more than a little surprised. She'd never received such attention before. She did simple body scans of Kyle with thermal imagery. She was able to view all of his attributes. She could see that he wasn't currently ready for any type of sexual activity. The image of Sarah popped up on her HUD again.
"I see we have two gentlemen." Gail said.
She was very pleased with the treatment.
The waiter gave them some menus. They quickly looked over them and placed the order. Gail ordered some fruit which she actually ordered for Derek.
Gail wondered about the polite and nice treatment. She wondered how she fit into the equation. She was a machine. Her sheath possessed all the attributes of a human female.
"If the human females were here, would you still want me to sit with you?" Gail asked.
Gail wondered if she should have made it specifically in reference to Sarah and Riley.
The Reese brothers answered without hesitation.
"Yes." Derek and Kyle both said.
Kyle wanted to explain the answer further.
"WE are all on the same team and are like a big extended family." Kyle said.
Gail wondered about her 'nature'. She was aware she was different.
"Am I part of the 'family', even if I'm Restorator, a Terminator?" Gail asked.
Derek honestly could see little difference among individuals in the Resistance at this point in time.
"I don't really even know what it means anymore with our group." Derek said. "Everyone is so much alike. It doesn't matter if they're a Terminator or a human."
Kyle agreed.
"Maybe you don't need to eat or sleep, but everything else is pretty much the same." Kyle said.
There was one big difference Gail felt she needed to point out.
"We can't reproduce." Gail said.
Derek saw it was a problem in the future for many of the humans. He thought about the difficulty Vanna, Jesse and Allison went through. He realized Riley was lucky. She was also hindered by her inability to nurse Precious by herself.
"Some of the human females are unable to reproduce as well." Derek said. "It doesn't make them any less of our group. They are still the same people no matter what's different."
Gail tilted her head slightly. It was true. She was aware it caused them a lot of grief. It saddened her when Jesse didn't want to try anymore. Jesse told her Skynet killed all of her children before they could be born. She knew Jesse was going to need to rely on her mother or Young Jesse if she ever wanted to have a child.
The assistant waiter arrived with a small orange juice, cranberry juice and tomato juice for the three of them.
Gail was about to hand the orange juice to Derek.
Derek looked at the three small juice glasses. He wondered if Gail had ever even tried any of them. He wondered what her reaction would be if she did try.
"Would you like to try a taste of each of them?" Derek asked.
Gail seldom ever tasted anything.
"I don't know." Gail said.
Kyle could see she was hesitant to try.
"Just try a tiny taste." Kyle said. "You can use it for future reference."
Derek set the tomato juice in front of her. He thought of the best order to test them in.
"Try this one first, then the orange juice and the cranberry juice last." Derek said. "It will be a range of different textures and tastes from sour to tart to sweet."
Gail smiled at both of them. She liked the color of the cranberry juice. She wondered how they would compare to the ice cream Savannah asked her to taste before or how they compared to the lactation of Jesse and Vanna. She was able to experience those 'tastes' with the human females.
"I've never tried any of the juices." Gail said.
Derek and Kyle looked at each other.
Kyle wondered what Jesse and Gail did all the time when they went out. Everyone wondered, but no one asked. He knew Savannah worked with Gail to expand her 'experiences'.
Derek was aware Jesse was very sexually driven and much of what she did revolved around it. It seemed to be what Gail and Jesse's relationship was based on. It was pretty much what his and Jesse's relationship was based on too. They did love each other as best as one could in the future. It was the sex that kept them together. They always both took as much as the other could give. Those special moments were all that mattered. Nothing else mattered at that point in time.
There was always the uncertainty if they would ever see each other again when they went out on an operation. With others, sometimes they did and other times they didn't. There was no predictability to anything in the future. Wait, there was one thing that was predictable. It was death. It was just the manner in which it would arrive that remained unknown.
Gail tried a tiny sip of each one of the fluids in the order that was suggested. Each one seemed to be very distinct. It was more than just the color.
"They are all very different." Gail said.
Derek hoped she liked them. Her facial expression never changed as she tried each one.
"Which one did you like better?" Derek asked.
Gail ran comparison and calculations on each of the three juices.
"All of them." Gail said. "I'm still running an analysis on each of them."
Kyle wondered if it was standard Terminator procedure.
"Do you always do that?" Kyle asked.
Gail seldom tasted any organic matter.
"Yes. I do it with everything I try. It's been very limited." Gail said. "I do it with each of the females as well. They're all different."
Derek was about to take a sip of his juice when Gail made her statement. It caused him to sputter and cough a little. He wasn't sure exactly what she meant. He immediately thought of one thing, maybe it was another. He wanted to check. He tried to use a little discretion.
"Do you mean when you kiss?" Derek asked.
Gail liked to cover all the bases as she analyzed the girls.
"I always check when we do everything and I check everywhere…." Gail said. "I find the process reassuring."
This time Kyle coughed and sputtered on his juice.
Gail looked at both of them.
"Did I say something wrong?" Gail asked.
Kyle liked the information. He wondered if all the Terminators did the same thing.
"No, it was very informative." Kyle said. "It was just a little unexpected."
Derek looked around, now seemed like a good time to get a little more information. Gail seemed to be in a talkative mood. There were a lot of things he wanted to ask her. He also wanted to show a little bit of tact and understood individual privacy.
"Cam and Cammy are identical, right?" Derek asked.
Gail was aware the DNA was identical.
"Yes." Gail said. "Their sheaths are identical to Ally, Camille and Cameron."
Derek wondered if anything was different on several levels. He was unsure how to proceed.
"Is there a difference between Cam and Cammy?" Derek asked. "They both look like Cameron."
Gail was aware there were differences, even if they were identical.
"Yes." Gail said. "Everyone is different. They are influenced by their partners."
Kyle pointed out that Vanna and Savannah were actually both the 'same' person.
"Cam and Cammy have the 'same partner'." Kyle said.
Gail tilted her head slightly. She made it clear there were differences.
"Vanna and Savannah are different." Gail said.
Derek thought the same thing as Kyle about Vanna and Savannah. He wondered how they were different.
"Vanna and Savannah are the same person." Derek said. "One is just older than the other."
They saw the waiter arrive at his station with the trays of food for several tables.
"Everyone is different, even if they're the same." Gail said. "Environment, hormones, diet, age, choice of partners and hygiene all play a factor."
Derek wondered about the details of her statement. He thought maybe he should cool the questions. He wanted to ask which of the girls 'tasted' the best but didn't.
"Your insight was quite instructive." Derek said.
The waiter came over and set the plates down. They thanked him and he left after he asked them if they needed anything else.
Derek and Kyle weren't sure what else to talk about with Gail. They were both glad Sarah and Riley weren't there. They never would have dared to ask those questions in their presence.
Derek wanted to know more about Gail specifically. He wasn't really sure where to start. He didn't want to seem invasive. He was genuinely curious.
"Tell us about the things you like and like to do." Derek said. "We never hear very much."
Kyle didn't want to make her feel self conscious.
"You don't need to talk about any private or sexual things." Kyle said. "We want you to feel comfortable."
Gail frowned a little.
Derek wanted to leave the door open for her to do a little more.
"That's unless you want to." Derek said. "Feel free to say anything."
Gail smiled again.
"I don't have a complete 'Neural Interface' program like the other Metal girls do." Gail said. "I may not have the same restraint or inhibitions as the other Metal girls. I think I lack some of the tact they possess. I'm less 'emotional' but I do have those feelings."
Derek liked what he'd heard so far.
"You're doing great." Derek said.
Gail went on. She seemed more and more relaxed and 'human' as she talked. She talked a lot about Savannah. It is when she would smile the most.
Derek and Kyle experienced the most eye opening talk they ever heard from a Terminator or a female, even from Sarah and Riley. Gail would talk about anything sexual. It was what most of her interactions with humans revolved around. They eventually did find out Savannah 'tasted' the best with Claire a close second.
Holly was at the entrance to the buffet. She heard Sarah and Riley say they wanted to go to the front of the ship. She moved in front of them and started in the direction indicated. She would look for any threats along the way. She doubted any of the individuals who'd consumed too much alcohol the previous evening were up and out yet.
Sarah didn't like to see Holly on her own, alone, and need to watch over them. She didn't need a chaperone or a bodyguard. She would rather have a 'friend' instead.
"You can walk with us, Holly." Sarah said. "We're all together."
Riley wanted to say the same thing earlier but had hesitated. She didn't want to seem too forward. She was glad Sarah said it.
"I'd like that too." Riley said. "You're one of us."
Holly was a little surprised. She wanted to do her job. She could do it with them as well as she could away from them. She stopped and waited for them. She liked to be included. She quickly ran visual scans of Sarah and Riley. She determined both of them would make good sexual partners. Sarah looked like she would be more aggressive and Riley looked like she would be more passive in bed.
"Thank you." Holly said. "I'd appreciate it."
Sarah didn't think they needed protection while they were at sea.
"The threat level is quite low on the ship." Sarah said.
Holly noted the drunks were more of an irritant than a threat. She'd observed more than a few of them last night. There didn't seem to be much risk otherwise.
"Other than when there are people around who have consumed too much alcohol, the threat level is zero." Holly said.
Holly thought of a few individuals she'd wanted to terminate last night. She'd even obtained their room numbers from Jim. She didn't like the way they looked at her or 'bumped' into her. Some of the talk she heard was offensive towards all females. She was glad Allison, both of them, didn't need to hear any of it.
Sarah and Riley walked on each side of Holly as they headed for the front of the ship.
They shared some small talk along the way.
Holly was pleased Cameron selected her to watch over the girls.
"I look forward to being able to look after Jan and Summer when they arrive." Holly said. "I like being around younger humans. They're all very pleasant."
Riley looked around quickly to make sure no one heard Holly make reference to 'humans'. No one was close enough.
Sarah didn't want to seem like she'd shirked her responsibilities.
"I'll help you." Sarah said.
Rally thought she could share the responsibility as well.
"I'll too." Riley said.
Holly looked forward to doing it herself.
"It's fine." Holly said. "I want to do it. Allison isn't here and it will keep me occupied. It will allow me to miss her less. It gives me less time to worry."
Riley wondered if there was a problem.
"Worry about what?" Riley asked.
Holly frowned slightly.
"I worry about everything." Holly said.
Sarah wondered if it was what Cameron did as well.
"Is that something you normally do?" Sarah asked.
Holly always searched for danger or threats.
"Yes." Holly said. "There are many things that can go wrong."
Riley didn't see it the same way.
"They usually don't." Riley said. "Some things don't work out but most of them do."
Holly wanted to be prepared. The Resistance counted on her. She was there to do a job. She took it very seriously.
"They could." Holly said. "I need to protect Allison and all of the Resistance members."
Riley wondered if Holly worried more or less when she was with Allison.
"Do you worry when you're with Allison?" Riley asked. "What about the other girls?"
Holly smiled at the thought of Allison.
Sarah and Riley thought she looked beautiful.
"No. I don't if we're alone together." Holly said. "I feel content when I'm around the girls, especially Savannah and Young Allison."
It was how Riley felt too, she thought they all did.
"We feel the same way too." Riley said.
Sarah wanted a better answer.
"Why do you feel the most content around them?" Sarah asked.
Holly smiled again and spoke without hesitation.
"They're the 'Chosen Ones'." Holly said.
Sarah was always uncomfortable with the terminology.
"What does it actually mean?" Sarah asked. "Why are they the 'Chosen Ones'?"
A look of determination appeared on Holly's face.
"They'll be the ones who will be at John Connor's side as Skynet is smashed into scrap metal in the future." Holly said. "They'll assist him and hold the Resistance together."
Riley hoped they could prevent it in the first place. She didn't want Precious to need to face a Skynet future.
"What happens if we defeat Skynet now?" Riley asked.
Holly wasn't sure if they could defeat Skynet. She didn't want to point it out. She was sure it would upset Sarah and Riley. She thought proudly of the 'Chosen Ones' instead.
"Savannah has saved Cameron many times. She's already assumed her place as a leader. The Resistance will follow her as will all of our machines. Young Allison on her return from the past will do so as well." Holly said. "She'll be the human version of Cameron at every level possible."
Sarah frowned a little with the last part.
"I don't know if I'm onboard with the concept." Sarah said.
Holly only saw the time and place as different. The aging process happened at the same rate in any timeline.
"She'll still grow older, it just happens in the past." Holly said. "There's less risk from Skynet to her in the past. She can be a real teenager for a few years and live a 'normal' life. It will be beautiful for her."
Sarah thought being away from her parents, sister, friends and those who love her was a big deal. Those things mattered. Those were the things she never could give John. They'd always been on the run.
She was afraid to get close to anyone she'd ever cared about. She let it happen with Charlie and he paid the price. She felt a twinge of guilt to think about Charlie and his wife. They were both dead because of her. She didn't want Young Allison put at unnecessary risk, for any reason.
"Why can't she just grow up here and now?" Sarah asked.
Holly stopped and looked at Sarah and Riley.
"She must be protected from the future after Judgment Day." Holly said. "Look what the future has done to all the girls from there. Look at what's happened to them. It can never happen again. It will never happen again."
Riley thought about what happened to all of the girls from her future, including her. The abuse wasn't the only consideration, There is also the damage done to their bodies. She looked down at her breasts.
"Holly's right, it can never happen to anyone else." Riley said. "I worry about my younger self and all the younger girls. Look at my future. Skynet has damaged all of our bodies."
Holly reassured Riley. She knew Cameron covered all the bases.
"Cameron has Young Riley protected." Holly said. "There's one Terminator that's always around wherever she goes. Cameron is trying to allow her to have a normal life. The same as she's allowed the younger Reese brothers, your current mates."
Riley remembered how thrilled she was to find out Cameron did it on her own. Cameron protected her younger self. She always thought it was rather magnanimous of Cameron. She wanted to keep her younger self away from the Resistance and anything Skynet related for as long as possible.
"It's what I asked for. I want her to have a 'normal' life." Riley said.
Riley wasn't even sure what 'normal' was but it had to be better than what she'd experienced. She would never wish her future on her worst enemy.
Sarah knew it was the same for Derek and Kyle. They wanted their younger selves to have 'normal' lives. They didn't want them associated with the Resistance and all the death and destruction that went with it.
"Derek and Kyle asked for the same thing." Sarah said.
Sarah wondered if they would all end up with Terminator lovers and never know…. She contemplated there could be a teenage Terminator version of her and Riley out there waiting for Young Derek and Young Kyle. She always wondered what a Metal girl would be like. She would like to find out with the teenage Terminator version of herself…. She would love to see her teenage body again. There wouldn't be a scar on it. She was glad she was able to share her pristine body with Future Kyle. She quickly pushed the thoughts from her mind. It wasn't where she wanted her mind to go.
Sarah shook her head to clear it.
What was she thinking?
Now she longed for the touch of her high school girlfriends. Everything was so simple back then. All of her friends who were 'active' needed to worry about getting pregnant. Everything was a lot simpler once they gave up the risk. They could concentrate on each other and not need to worry about anything. They were also able to get a finish out of every encounter, unlike their couplings with males.
Ally and Hanna finished up with the rooms.
"We have everything here in order." Ally said.
Hanna looked forward to what awaited her in Ensenada.
"We're done for now then." Hanna said. "I can get ready to see Claire and Summer once we're docked."
Ally felt left out. She didn't have a human lover.
"That's lucky you." Ally said.
Hanna didn't see sharing as a problem.
"You're welcome to share with Claire whenever you both want or with Claire and me." Hanna said. "It's never a problem. You know it isn't."
Ally still felt a little left out.
"I'll remember that." Ally said.
Hanna felt she should already know it.
"It's nothing new." Hanna said.
Ally looked at the Owner's Suite.
"I'm not looking forward to being with Sheila once she's freed from her current 'slavery'." Ally said. "I don't need to add 'anything' new to my gustatory scans."
Hanna pointed out Sheila asked for what was occurring.
"Sheila wanted it." Hanna said. "It's an opportunity for her to grow and expand."
Ally really didn't want to discuss it.
"Whatever…." Ally said.
Hanna didn't see it as a bad thing. It seemed more of a learning experience.
"It's a new adventure for her." Hanna said. "Many of the females do it. We have our files from Allison and Vanna."
Ally stayed away from those files.
"None of those were good files." Ally said.
Hanna felt there were some good files too.
"What about the files where Allison meets John in the future and her association with John in the present?" Hanna asked. "I've accessed those files from Vanna and they're all positive. John is the first male Vanna ever loved. He's the only male Vanna has ever loved."
Ally checked the files of Allison's interaction with John. John never tried to use or abuse Allison in any way. He was very respectful and showed an exorbitant amount of restraint. She strongly doubted any other male would have.
"I have those too from Allison." Ally said. "I've always possessed them."
Hanna was sure things worked the same for Ally as they did for her.
"I bet you only recently 'found' them too." Hanna said.
Ally reviewed dozens of files as she spoke with Hanna.
"They're all pleasant thoughts and love…." Ally said. "I haven't viewed the files before. Allison has always loved John since she first got to know him. He has treated her with the most respect of any male she has known."
Hanna agreed with everything she said.
"I found mine recently too." Hanna said. "They're beautiful."
It made Ally wonder about Sheila's state of mind. She could be influenced with the files in her system from Jesse. She was certainly influenced by the darkness in Jesse from the 'Neural Interface'.
"Sheila must have found her files yesterday." Ally said. "Jesse loves John too. Sheila would have found those files."
Hanna felt it was more than the human girls loving John. She felt it was them too.
"So does that mean we love John too?" Hanna asked.
Ally couldn't deny the attraction and the 'pull'.
"I think we do." Ally said. "Why is this happening now?"
It made her wonder if Cameron was behind it all somehow. She did know if John ever asked to have sex with her or any of the Metal girls, they couldn't say 'no'. He'd never asked any of them. She thought it showed an extreme amount of restraint on his part. She didn't blame him for what Cameron currently orchestrated. John could have been with any of them at any time if he'd chosen to previously. He respected all of them.
Jim listened to Ally and Hanna converse in the private area.
He was glad he didn't possess any files like they did.
If he did, he was going to firewall them and erase them.
He thought about searching for any and decided against it. He didn't want to chance 'finding' them in the first place.
As time went on he seemed to develop some 'feelings and emotions' of his own. They just happened a little at a time. Somehow they were just there at some point and couldn't be ignored, no matter how much he tried to ignore them.
Maybe he needed some combat to suppress the type of thought.
Now he thought of his attraction to the females, both Metal and human. It was very overpowering at times. Parts of his sheath seemed to 'react' on their own when dealing with the females, even if it was images on his computer at times.
The second man looked back at the female as she was pulled away by her ankle.
"If the next one is a Bitch too, I'm doing her." The second man said.
"We need to catch them first." The first man said. "Let's go out and see what we can find."
Hank and Larry found the entrance to the underground complex. It was concealed behind a bush in the rock face. There was a keypad on the door.
Hank looked around the immediate area.
"Do we want to fool around with this or just knock the door down?" Hank asked. "I have some C-4 if we can't break it open."
Larry hoped for a more clandestine approach.
"We can try to work the combination and see what we can do." Larry said.
Hank looked over the door built into the rock. He hoped they would be able to find the combination to open the door. He considered the possibility of getting the large bomb out of the back of the van and bring it up to where they were at. He wasn't sure if he could drive the van up or he would need to carry the bomb itself.
"I know where there's a bigger bomb if we need it." Hank said.
Larry wanted to listen for a moment to see if they could tell what was happening inside. He didn't want to rush things.
"Let me see if I can hear anything first." Larry said.
Hank kept watch around them. He still hadn't spotted any surveillance devices. He wasn't sure how the two men knew the female Fanatic was out on the back of the hillside.
Larry put his ear to the door to see if he could hear anything. He was a little surprised when he heard three men talking. He heard what the plans were.
"The first two men are about to come back out." Larry said. "There's one more male inside with them. The female's being taken away for questioning. It sounds like there are others further inside."
They quickly discussed their plan.
Larry moved back around above the concealed opening. Hank was on the other side of the bush.
The two men approached the door that led to the outside.
"I want you to pay better attention when we go back." The first man said.
The second man glanced back in the direction where the female was taken.
"You know we don't get much skirt around here." The second man said.
The first man laughed out loud.
"It's not like you and the boys don't get enough of each other." The first man said.
The second man shook his head in disgust. He didn't like the dig.
"Don't knock it until you try it." The second man said.
The first man reached for the door.
"Get ready, here we go." The first man said.
The first man opened the door enough to poke his head out and look around. He didn't see anything different than he had a while ago. He opened the door the rest of the way and walked out.
The second man followed him out.
Hank reached over and grabbed the first man. He snapped his neck.
The second man saw what happened and tried to react.
Larry dropped down behind him. He rabbit punched him as he landed on the ground. He was able to quickly move his hand into the door frame to prevent the door from closing.
Hank stood over the two dead men.
"Do you want to take them inside or leave them out here?" Hank asked.
Larry took a careful peek inside of the doorway. He didn't see anyone. There was only a dimly lit passageway.
"Do the drones show any other movement around us?" Larry asked.
Hank quickly checked his phone. There hadn't been any updates.
"Nothing else shows up." Hank said. "Then again, we don't either right now where we're at."
Larry knew they should wait for nighttime so the drones could move in lower to do thermal scans around the area. They were already there. The door was open. They wouldn't have to blow it open or attempt to knock it down.
"Conceal them in the brush outside." Larry said. "We're going to go in."
Larry moved inside the opening while Hank concealed the bodies. He joined him in a few moments. They checked the door before they let it close to make sure they didn't need a combination to open it to exit. None was required. If they needed to retreat, they wanted to make sure they could get out and not get trapped.
Hank looked at the construction of the passageway.
"I have enough C-4 to collapse the passageway behind us if we need to retreat." Hank said.
Larry new Terminators weren't known for retreating.
"I see Savannah has had some influence on you." Larry said.
Hank believed it was true.
"I think Savannah influences everyone she comes into contact with." Hank said.
Larry knew it too.
"Savannah has instructed all of us, it's better to survive to fight another day." Larry said.
Hank was very proud of his association with Savannah.
"I'd like to work with her everyday." Hank said.
Larry believed all the Terminators would.
"The 'Chosen One' is very special to be around." Larry said.
They carefully moved down the passageway. They could see some fresh blood on the surface of the floor.
"The female must be injured." Hank said.
They were both aware of what happened to female captives in the hands of Grays.
"I'm sure it's going to be a whole lot worse before she's terminated." Larry said.
Hank hoped to end everyone's suffering when they encountered them.
"Let's see where the blood trail goes." Hank said.
Down the rabbit hole they went.
Eye Opener
Is it eyes wide open
Or eyes wide shut
It all depends on
If one takes a shortcut
A person only sees
What they want to see
To each their own
Is all a matter of degree
Do the blind lead the blind
It often appears so
Does anyone ever know
Where they even go
Sometimes something so obvious
Can be in front of one's eyes
For whatever reasons
They can't hear the cries
Who is the jailer
Who is the prisoner
They're both stuck together
It's a real eye opener
Nobody
