Spell 20: Inversion

As Shido was lying on the ground, he could hear a voice calling out to him.

"Wake up…Itsuka Shido! You must wake up!" Said Dragon before it roars and Shido opens his eyes as the wound on his chest starts to heal.

(Trust in you by sweet ARMS)

(Instrumental) (As the song begins the screen lowered to a metallic tree with seed-shape devices attached to it, and the tree itself was attached to a shipe.)

(Next we see Tohka, Yoshino, and Kotori wearing their Astral Dresses gently falling and landing on the ground as they turn to the screen as it zooms to their faces.)

(Next we see three more Spirits falling and landing to the ground, as it zooms to their hair as we couldn't see their faces.)

(Next to appear is Origami and Mana wearing their Realizer suits, as it zooms to Origami's mouth and to Mana's face.)

(Next to appear is Kurumi wielding both of her guns as she is surrounded by her clones, as it zooms to her face as she is smiling and her bangs cover her eyes.)

(Next to appear is the Fraxinus crew as the screen zooms to Kyouhei and Reine's faces.)

(Next to appear is Isaac Westcott and Ellen Mathers, before it zooms to their faces but their eyes are covered as Isaac had a smile on his face.)

(Last but not least, Shido appeared as he wore his Flame Style Ring and scanned it on his Driver and transformed into Kamen Rider Wizard, as the screens zoomed out as he transformed and showed his Ring, before it zoomed out further as his friends were standing beside him.)

(Fate subete wa hitsuzen? Hikare au you na deai (Deai). Tsunagaru sutourii) (In the city, Tohka was jumping off of her as her name appeared on screen before she runs forward and Yoshino and Yoshinon notice her running past as Yoshino was kneeling on the ground talking to her puppet friend as their names appeared one at a time and Yoshino soon stands up and followed Tohka.)

(Ne kono mune no kodou. Rikai dekinai nara (Up to you). Kono mama ochiteyuku dake) (Kotori was watching as she was leaning on a tree while enjoying her candy as her name appeared before she pulled her candy out and took her leave. Across the street, Origami was walking forward as her name appeared on screen. Then we see Koyomi, Rinne, and Mikie in Omokagedo talking to each other as their names appear, next we see Wajima bringing them some tea before he trips and falls as his name appears on screen.)

(Saa erande suriruna deto hajimemashou) (Kurumi was seen standing on top of a building as her name appears as she was looking up at an airship as its shadow appeared on the building. Shido was seen on street level as he was adjusting his Flame Ring before his name appeared on screen, and he soon noticed something flying in the air and saw it was the AST as they headed out to deal with a Spirit.)

(Hanasu tabi fureru tabi warau tabi mezamete. Ku kono omoi kesshite yuzurenai kara) (Next we see a flashback where Shido and Tohka were walking together as she was enjoying her kinako bread. Wizard was then seen riding his Machine Winger forward as the zooms out from his face, before it changes to Shido and his friends having breakfast together, and then they are setting up for a party with their classmates, and then to them looking at Tengu City on their favorite park. Soon following Wizard was Kotori and Yoshino with their Angels out as Kotori was flying above the Rider and Yoshino was riding on Zadkiel beside him. Then it changes to Shido and Tohka riding in a tram together as Tohka leans her head on his shoulder.)

(Hajimete konnani sunao ni soba ni itai to omou kimi ni deaetakara) (Then it changes to Wiseman along with his Phantom Generals, Medusa and Phoenix. Then as Wizard, Kotori, and Yoshino were moving forward, the Yamai twins flew above them forcing them to split up, next we see Miku riding on a road in the shape of a piano keyboard, next we see Mana flying above them. Next we see the silhouette of a new Kamen Rider and behind him was a giant lion with wings, and changes to the mysterious Phantom Sora as he was chuckling. Then Origami was seen clashing swords against Ellen.)

(Then finally we see the backside of an unknown Spirit that resembles Tohka as Wizard armed with Sandalphon stood in front of her.)

(Then we see Tohka falling towards Wizard as they grab each other's hand in a finger lock.)

(Shinjitaino Date A Live) (Tohka was smiling at Wizard and he was smiling under his helmet as he gently helped her land on her feet, and then the title appeared on screen as everything turned white behind it.)

After his healing powers manage to close the wound on his chest, Shido looks up and sees the dark energy in the room.

"What…is this?" Shido mutters in confusion before he slowly stands up.

That's when the Ringed Mage saw that the dark energy had gathered around Tohka, who was in a new form.

Instead of wearing her usual Astral Dress, Tohka was now wearing a dark violet dress attached with black laces and a set of grayish magenta-and-dark pink plated armor which adorned her shoulders and waist. The dress is open at the back and the front, which exposed most of her skin and a two-layered, knee-length skirt. She also wears a dark violet butterfly-shaped hair accessory with pointy edges.

Tohka's hair had shifted into a dark purple-to-white gradient. Her eyes have also reversed its color scheme and were now in a magenta color.

But what really got Shido's attention was the dark blade she was holding in her hand.

Instead of her usual Angel, Sandalphon, Tohka now wields a one-edged sword that is colored purely black with a dark purple blade and a matching jewel between the blade and hilt and the dark sword has red light markings on it.

"Is that…Sandalphon? No…" Shido said before he stood on his feet.

"Where am I?" Tohka said in confusion, and Shido wondered why she would say that. Tohka then turns to Miku. "Tell me, woman. What is this place?"

"Huh? Isn't this one of DEM Industries Japan's buildings?" Miku answers in confusion.

"I've never heard of such a place. Now tell me, why am I here?" Tohka asked.

"Um, that wizard brought you here. Don't you remember?" Miku asks as she points to Ellen and Tohka turns to her.

"Wonderful." Said Isaac, getting Tohka's attention as she turns to him. "I've never seen such a clean inversion before. Behold, Ellen. This holds our dream. This holds our future. Time to get to work. This is the prey you were destined to hunt. O greatest Wizard of all humanity, claims the head of the Dark Lord. Use it as the first steppingstone of our path."

"Yes. I know, Ike." Ellen said before she flew into the air to swing her sword down at Tohka.

"Toh…" Shido said in worry.

Tohka was able to block Ellen's sword with ease which created a strong gust of wind between their blades, and Shido was blown away by it as he smashed into the wall behind him.

"Hey! Are you alright?" Miku asked.

Tohka and Ellen were in a bladed lock before Tohka spoke.

"You little…"

Tohka manages to push Ellen back before the DEM Wizard stops and looks at her.

"You indeed seem to have changed. Good to see you're measuring up. There's no point in a Spirit I can easily defeat." Ellen said.

"Who are you? Why are you pointing your sword at me?" Tohka asked.

"Sorry, but you will have to die. All we need is your power!" Ellen said before she charges at Tohka and slashes at her.

(Meanwhile)

Back in the battle outside, a crazed Jessica laughs before she fires several missiles at Mana.

"Die, die…Die, die, die, die…Die!" Jessica said repeatedly as Mana protects herself by using a Territory around her as the missiles had exploded into the buildings behind her.

When the smoke dies down, Mana grits her teeth before she dismisses the Territory.

Mana! Mana! Takamiya Mana!" Jessica calls out and Mana looks up at her. "You won't beat me! Not this time! With the Licorice…I…"

Predicting Jessica's next move, Mana was able to avoid Jessica's Territories to trap her inside several times.

"I can…" Jessica said as she manages to trap Mana in one of her Territories.

Mana was able to free herself by smashing her sword to shatter the Territory.

But then Mana saw that Jessica was charging up her cannons to attack her.

"Blastark!" Jessica said as she fired her cannons and Mana was able to avoid it.

"Not so fast!" Mana says as she charges at Jessica and slashes at her, but the crazed DEM Wizard blocks it with her Territory.

Jessica grins at Mana before she suddenly coughs out blood and the Territory around shrinks to a point that Mana was able to cut off one of the Licorice's cannons.

"You're at your limit. Jessica, you have lost. Give up-" Mana said before she backs away to avoid Jessica's attack from her remaining cannon.

"Mana! Mana…Adeptus Two!" Jessica exclaimed as she continued to fire at Mana while blood was running down from her mouth.

Mana didn't bother to dodge Jessica's wildfire as she just stood in place as the crazed DEM Wizard was unable to hit her as she kept on missing.

As Mana was looking at her, Jessica continued to rant.

"I've always hated you!"

"Jessica…" Mana muttered in pity.

After seeing that she was behind saving and reasoning, Mana tightens the handle on her blade.

'One wrong move, and I could…' Mana thought as she brought her blade to her chest.

"Why…Why did Master Westcott and Chief Mathers choose an oriental kid like you?! Why?! I'm a much better fit than you…f-for Adeptus Number Two!" Jessica shouted as she began to shed tears of blood from her eyes.

Mana then lowered her blade.

"You've always been like that." Mana said before she brought out a Territory around her. "You are envious, hungry for success, and always whining like a child."

Mana then charges at the crazed Jessica while dodging her blaster fire.

'That said, your devotion was certainly something to be proud of. I've always hated you too, but you did nothing to deserve this.' Mana thought as she could feel nothing but pity for the poor woman in front of her.

"Mana!" Jessica shouted.

Then Mana slashes on her chest to mortally wound the crazed Jessica. Jessica went limp before the Scarlet Licorice had detached off of her back and fell to the ground.

Jessica was gasping before she coughed and fell onto Mana as the blue-haired girl caught her.

As Jessica was slowly dying from both her mental and physical wounds, she mutters to her former colleague.

"H-Hey…Mana…Aren't…Aren't I strong? Nobody can defeat me. Will Master Westcott…a-approve?" Jessica weakly asks, and Mana hugs her in comfort.

"Yes, I'm sure." Mana told her.

Jessica then raises her head as she sheds tears of joy while having a proud smile on her face, before she takes her last breath and dies in Mana's arms. Mana then closes Jessica's eyes and holds her in her arms.

Mana then turns to DEM's First Office building.

"Isaac…Westcott!" Mana said in pure rage for the man responsible for this.

(Back with Shido)

Miku had helped Shido stand up as the two of them along with a smiling Isaac were watching Tohka and Ellen's battle as the two clashed their swords several times at high speed.

Tohka was able to push Ellen as Tohka had an unimpressed look on her face, Ellen grits her teeth before the two clashed swords once again and Ellen kicks at Tohka's feet, but she dodges it as she jumps into the air.

"Got you!" Ellen said as she brought out her cannon. "Pierce her, Rhongomyniad!"

Ellen soon fired a large golden beam at Tohka which pierced straight through the ceiling and made a large pillar of light above the building they were in.

When Ellen finally dismisses her beam all that was left was a large hole in the ceiling and a smoke cloud above it.

"T-Tohka…Tohka!" Shido said in worry.

Ellen then turns to both him and Miku.

"I see…" They looked back at the hole and saw that Tohka was unharmed by Ellen's attack, there wasn't even a scratch on her body as she was flying in the night sky. "You're as powerful as he said."

Tohka then raised her dark sword to attack.

"Not a chance!" Ellen says as she flies at Tohka and slashes at her, but Tohka catches her sword using her free hand.

Ellen glares at the Inverse Spirit before Tohka raises her sword once again.

"Nahemah." Tohka said, and Ellen noticed that she wasn't aiming at her but in the room they were in.

Ellen then backs away and flies to Isaac to protect him before Tohka sends a massive energy slash at her which hits on her back and creates a strong gust of wind when it reaches the floor.

When Shido and Miku stood against the wind, Miku used her voice to shield herself and Shido from it before it died down.

"Are you okay, Miku?" Shido asked.

"Y-Yes. It's not like I tried to protect you or anything! You just happened to be there!" Miku stated as she folded her arms and turned away from him.

Shido then looks up at Tohka.

"Is that really Tohka?" Shido said.

Then Ellen had shattered the rubble around herself and Isaac with her Territory.

"Thank you for saving me, Ellen." Isaac said while dusting his hand on his clothes.

"Of course. I can't let you die here." Ellen said.

"How do you like the Princess?" Isaac asked.

"She's nothing like what she was before. Like you said, she is now above a AAA-rank threat." Ellen answered.

"Really? So, can you kill her?" Isaac asked with a smile.

"Of course. No entity in this universe can defeat me…if I'm in top condition." Ellen said as she noticed that her wounds had begun to bleed once again. "My wounds seemed to have reopened when I protected you. Although I've suppressed my pain receptors, it may be risky to fight this Spirit now."

"I see. I can't argue with that. Let's retreat for now. We have plenty of time." Isaac said.

"Are you sure?" Ellen asked.

"Yes." Isaac said as he eyed on the Inverse Spirit he had created. "I've gotten good at waiting. Inverting the Princess was a huge step forward by itself, not to mention our unexpected guest."

Isaac then turns back to Shido.

"We'll be excusing ourselves now. We'll meet again if you're still alive. Takamiya…I'm sorry, Itsuka Shido." Isaac said, but hearing that got Shido's attention.

"W-Wait! What do you know about me?!" Shido asked.

"I know absolutely nothing…about Itsuka Shido." Isaac said before Ellen uses her powers to teleport both herself and Isaac out of the building.

"Hey!" Shido calls out as they leave.

"Now, you two…" Said Tohka as she lands in front of Shido and Miku.

"Hey, aren't you two friends? Why did we even come to help this overpowered tank in the first place? I don't understand what's going on!" Miku said.

"Hey, neither do I!" Shido told her.

"And didn't you have a hole in your chest? How are you even alive?" Miku asked.

"Well…It's a little complicated." Shido said.

Tohka soon sends a massive energy wave at Shido and Miku. Shido was about to change into his Defend Ring, but it was too late as Tohka's attack was about to hit them…

But then, Tohka's Sandalphon appeared and protected both Shido and Miku from the energy wave before it died down.

"Sandalphon…" Tohka said as she eyed the Angel. "Why are you able to wield that Angel?"

"Tohka! What the hell happened to you?! Don't you remember me?!" Shido calls out to the Inverse Spirit who was his friend.

"Tohka? Is that my name?" Tohka asked in confusion, much to Shido's shock.

"Shido! Shido! Come in!" Kotori calls out in his earpiece.

"Kotori!" Shido said.

(In the Fraxinus)

The crew were working on getting the Fraxinus' systems back online from their respective stations.

"Radar, comm, and command center back online."

"Wide-range 3-D surveillance systems back online."

"Incoming transmission from ground data probes."

"All stats are green."

"Visual incoming!"

They now have a visual of Shido along with Miku and the now Inverse Tohka in the First Office Building.

"Now that the roof's gone, the jamming has stopped. What in the world happened?" Kotori asked.

"I don't know! Something happened to Tohka while I was recovering! Did that happen because her powers returned? Can I seal them again?!" Shido asked.

"No, it's not her power. I can't say for sure that you can seal this power, either." Reine answered.

"Her affection levels are far from adequate anyway." Kotori said as Tohka's levels are way below negative now.

"Then what am I supposed to do?!" Shido asked.

"We need to draw out the normal Tohka." Kotori speaks through his earpiece. "Her numbers should return to normal once that happens. That's our best bet."

Shido grits his teeth as he now understands what he has to do.

"All right. Same drill as always, then?" Shido said before he lowered his hand.

"What are you muttering about?" Inverse Tohka asked before she raised her sword. "Well, no matter. You'll be dead soon. You don't seem as strong as that woman."

Inverse Tohka then sends an energy wave at Shido and Miku.

Shido soon runs to Sandalphone while scanning his Dragon Ring on his Driver.

[FLAME, DRAGON]

Shido transforms into Wizard and grabs onto Sandalphon to cut the energy wave in half.

Wizard was left panting while Inverse Tohka looked at his current form.

"Oh…That's an interesting form you have. But it won't be enough to defeat me." Inverse Tohka stated before she sent another energy wave at him.

Wizard grits his teeth as he is ready to cut it down, but then Miku comes to his aid as she uses her voice to block the energy wave.

"Miku?" Wizard said in confusion on why she's helping him.

"Don't get the wrong idea! Nothing infuriates me more than men who abuse phrases like 'I love you', 'You're important', and 'I'll die for you', only to go back on their words without even trying." Miku told him before she turned away from the Ringed Mage. "You told me you'd put your life on the line to save Tohka-san. Take responsibility for your words. Don't let me down. Show me I was right to give you a chance."

"Miku…" Wizard mutters before he smirks and nods. "You're right."

Wizard then approached Tohka and spoke to her.

"Come on, Tohka. Let's go home and have breakfast. If you say you're sorry, I'll get you whatever you want for breakfast, lunch, and dinner." Wizard told her.

"You speak nonsense." Inverse Tohka stated.

After hearing that, Wizard now wields Sandalphon with hands before he runs to Tohka, and the Inverse Spirit sends an energy wave at him and Wizard cuts in half as he continues to run to her and reach out his hand.

"Tohka!" Wizard calls out.

But then, Tohka slashes at Wizard and he parries in time before dodging and parrying several more of Inverse's Tohka's attack before dodging her next slash from falling backwards and lands on his hand, and Wizard spins on it to kick Nahemah out of her hands but Inverse Tohka stops it by catching Wizard's kick with her free hand.

Wizard was surprised by this before Inverse Tohka spun him around and threw the magic-theme Rider to the ground as he rolled on it and stopped close to Miku, who was looking at him in some disappointment.

"What are you doing? Pathetic." Miku said, and Wizard quickly sat up and looked at her.

"Oh, shut up! This is all I can do without hurting her! I've got to get close to her again!" Wizard said, and Miku hummed before she turned to the Inverse Spirit.

"So you just need help getting close to her? Gabriel…Rondo." Miku said before she spun around.

Then her Angel appeared as organ pipes as five of them appeared in front of Miku.

"Miku!" Wizard said.

"Consider yourself lucky." Miku told him. "You were foolish enough to come all the way up here alone for Tohka-san. I'm going to give you one chance."

Then several more organ pipes appeared around Inverse Tohka before they soon pointed at her as she looked at them in confusion.

"I'll hit Tohka-san with my vocal shield from every direction. It may not last more than a few seconds, but it should restrict her movement for a little while. That'll give you a chance to try what you have in mind." Miku told him.

"Miku, you…" Wizard said.

"Are you up for it or not?" Miku asked and Wizard smirked underneath his helmet before he turned back to Tohka.

"Yeah!" Wizard said as he stood up.

"Then here we go." Miku said before she took a deep breath and sang through the organ pipes to restrain both of Tohka's arms and legs.

"What is this?" Inverse Tohka said before her eyes light up which made Miku stop singing.

"Miku!" Wizard said in some worry.

"Just keep going!" Miku told him before she sang through the pipes once again to keep Inverse Tohka in place.

Wizard soon moves to Tohka, but then the Inverse Spirit kicks some chunks from the floor at him and Wizard blocks them with his arm as he keeps on moving towards her.

"Silence." Inverse Tohka said before she brought her arms together which weakened Miku's voice to the point that she was now unable to speak while her lips were moving.

Then Inverse Tohka swung her arms out which shattered the sonic bindings on her body and shattered Gabriel's organ pipes into pieces, Wizard stops as he was stunned by this before he turns to the now mute Miku.

Inverse Tohka then glares at Miku.

"You fool." Tohka said as she raised her sword before Miku had fallen on her knees. "You cannot bind me. Die, weakling!"

Inverse Tohka soon sends a massive energy slash at Miku as it was heading towards her, time seemed to have slowed down around Miku as her life was flashing before her eyes.

Miku remembers the dark memories of her past.

'All I ever had was my voice. I had nothing else. Without my voice, I was worthless. Nobody…not a single thing would defend me.' Miku thought.

She then remembers the time she spent with Shido in his Shiori disguise, then to the Ten-oh Festival where he was singing on stage with his friends, and when they were in the First Office Building to save Tohka.

'To be honest, I had always wanted to see…a human who loved someone more than anything in the world. If…If I had been able to find someone like that sooner, I may have…'

Miku then closes her eyes as she awaits her impending demise while Wizard is running to save her as he reaches out his hand.

"Miku!" Wizard shouted.

(Meanwhile)

As a result of Miku's powers now weakening, Yoshino was now free of her control before she blinked in confusion on why she's here.

"Huh? What was…" Yoshino mutters, the last thing she remembered was being in the Ten-oh Festival to cheer for her friends during the music competition.

Yoshino then saw she was in a battlefield before Zadkiel jumped forward before she spoke to her.

"Huh? Yoshino, why are we up here again?" Yoshinon asked in Zadkiel's body.

"I don't know either." Yoshino said.

"I don't feel too good. It's like someone's sucking my power straight out of me." Yoshinon said as she could literally feel it.

That's when the AST had appeared in front of them as they fired at the Spirit and her Angel.

"Fire!" Ryouko ordered before they were blown away by a strong gust of wind.

Yoshino was confused by this before she heard a familiar laugh.

"Weaklings! Off they go like dust in a gust." Yoshino looked and saw it was her friends, Kaguya and Yuzuru, who came to her aid as they were also free of Miku's control.

"Inquiry: Are you all right, Ysohino, Yoshinon?" Yuzuru asked.

"Kaguya-san! Yuzuru-san!" Yoshino said.

The Yamai Twins then turned at each other as they were confused on why they were here.

"I cannot recall what we were doing." Kaguya said and coming straight behind was a roaring Origami as she brought out an energy blade from her hand to attack them.

Yuzuru then fired a strong gust of wind at Origami which sent her falling to the ground and Yuzuru soon flew to her master to catch her in her arms.

"Master Origami…What is happening?" Yuzuru asked.

"Shido…" Origami weakly asked before she passed out.

Yuzuru then turns to Kaguya before they nodded at each other. Yuzuru then flew Ryouko and handed Origami to the AST captain as she carried her.

"Wh-What happened to you guys?" Ryouko asked before Yuzuru flew back to her friends.

"So, Yoshino, tell me what we were doing up here." Kaguya asked.

"Agreement: I thought we were in the arena for the Ten-oh Festival." Yuzuru said.

"I-I have no idea, either." Yoshino told them before they sensed a powerful Spirit in the area and turned to the First Office Building.

"Over there?" Kaguya said.

"Affirmative: It has to be." Yuzuru said.

"Shido-san is there." Yoshino said.

When Miku opened her eyes, she soon saw large ice rocks around her and saw Wizard's back in front of her.

"Hey, Miku, are you feeling alright?" Wizard asked in his Water Dragon Style.

(Flashback)

'I have to make it!' Wizard thought before he saw his Flame Dragon Ring had soon been replaced with his Water Dragon Ring.

He was surprised at first as he saw icy wind coming off of his Ring before he scanned it on his Driver.

[WATER, DRAGON]

Wizard transforms into his Water Dragon Style and as he runs in front of Tokha's attack, he soon crosses his arm and swings them out to unleash a wave of ice which creates a wall of ice rocks to block the Inverse Spirit's attack.

(End of flashback)

"Why…?" Miku weakly asked.

"Because I promised." Wizard simply answered, and Miku's eyes widened as she remembered that promise.

"Oh, really? Would you really put your life on the line to save me if I ever got in big trouble like Tohka-san is now? Or if I was ever in despair, you'll be there to give me hope?"

"Of course!"

Tears begin to form in her eyes that he kept his promise to her.

'He protected me. He saved me! This man…Shido…kept his promise!' Miku thought before she stood up and placed a hand on his wrist.

"Shido…" Miku muttered his name.

"Shido…Shido…" Inverse Tohka mutters to hear his name as she has a hand on her head, she wasn't sure why but hearing that name is giving her a painful headache.

'Is she starting to come back?!' Miku thought.

Inverse Tohka grits her teeth before she places a hand on her dark sword to cut it to make her bleed and to make the headache go away, and Wizard and Miku thought it must be a sign that she was starting to recognize him.

"Trickster…Trying to delude me, human?!" Inverse Tohka asked as she glared at Wizard. "Very well."

Inverse Tohka then jumps into the air.

"I shall obliterate you in an instant!" Tohka declared before she raised her sword and a dark cloud appeared above her.

Then flying out of that cloud was a dark version of Tohka's throne.

"That's…" Wizard said to that throne which would mean only one thing to him.

The dark throne soon shattered into pieces and the fragments had gathered around Inverse Tohka's Nahemah as it merges and turns into a dark version of her Halvanhelev.

"Behold, the Paverschlev!" Inverse Tohka told them as she pointed the said Paverschlev at them.

"Paverschlev…" Wizard mutters as he looks at a large sword in her hand.

Then a dark energy appeared around Paverschlev. Wizard grits his teeth to see that, and Miku tries to use her voice to protect him, but it is still too weak.

Miku grits her teeth before she moves in front of Wizard and hugs in front of him to use her body as a shield for him.

"Miku? What are you doing? Just run!" Wizard told her, but Miku refused his request as she only had one thought in her mind.

'I want you to keep your promise. Save Tohka-san!' Miku told him in her mind.

"Farewell, human." Tohka said as she raised her giant sword, ready to attack.

But then, coming to Wizard and Miku's aid was a large blizzard stream which forced Inverse Tohka to stop her attack and blocked it with her other hand.

The one who was firing the blizzard stream was Yoshino using her Angel, Zadkiel.

"What's gotten into you, Tohka-san?!" Yoshino calls out to her friend.

"How dare you!" Inverse Tohka said in annoyance.

(Cue: Promise by Da-iCE)

When Wizard and Miku saw this, the Ringed Mage then gently removed Miku's hands from his body and walked to Tohka, Miku stopped him by grabbing onto his arm.

Wizard turns back to Miku.

"I'll be back. I've got a princess to save…and a promise to keep." Wizard told her, and Miku let go of his arm and Wizard soon walked back to Inverse Tohka.

Both Yoshino and Yoshinon were now having trouble keeping up their attack.

"She's too strong!" Yoshinon said.

"Please, Tohka-san! Come back!" Yoshino calls out to her before Tohka cancels out the stream of ice and snow which creates a shockwave that pushes Yoshino back.

"Tohka!" Wizard calls out to her and Tohka turns back to him.

Even though he was wearing that mask, Inverse Tohka was still able to see his face which caused her to be hesitant to attack him before she shook her head.

"Nahemah…Paverschlev!" Tohka shouted as she raised her giant sword before she roared and swung her sword down to send a massive dark energy wave at Wizard.

Inverse Tohka's attack had straight through the building they were in and slash through buildings behind it before a large smoke cloud appeared from the attack as Kurumi's clones and the Bandersnatches were caught in it.

Tohka's dark sword returns to its previous form, Miku had her eyes closed before she opened her eyes and saw that there was no trace of Wizard and saw the massive cone shape crater behind her.

Miku falls on her hands and knees to see this before she hears Tohka laughing as she turns back to her before she grits her teeth.

"He's gone. He's finally gone! That insidious trickster is gone!" Inverse Tohka said in triumph.

"Not so fast, my servant."

Tohka turned around and saw Kaguya and Yuzuru were flying above her as they carried Wizard with their wind.

"It seems to me that victory is not yet in your hands." Kaguya told her.

"Defense: I must say, our foresight is quite something." Yuzuru said.

"Thanks for saving me." Shido tells the twins, and Kaguya chuckles.

"Worry not, for it was a trifling effort." Kaguya said.

"Agreement: I am glad that you are safe. However…" Yuzuru said as they turned back to the Inverse Tohka.

"Yeah. I'll handle the rest from here." Wizard said before he changes to his Hurricane Dragon Ring.

"You persistent human…" Tohka said as she glared at him.

Wizard then scans his Ring on his Driver.

[HURRICANE, DRAGON]

Wizard soon changes into his Hurricane Dragon Style as he flies to Tohka. Inverse Tohka was surprised by this as it felt familiar to her before she remembered a certain memory and someone saying her name.

"Tohka!"

"Toh…ka…" Inverse Tohka mutters before Wizard stops in front of her.

"Hey, Tohka. I'm here to help you." Wizard told her.

Inverse Tohka then looks at the sword, and Wizard looks at his hands.

"Oh, right." Wizard said as he changed back into Shido and threw Sandalphon away as it disappeared.

"What are you doing?" Inverse Tohka asked.

"I don't need armor or a sword to do this." Shido said before he kissed her.

Inverse Tohka was confused by this.

'What is this man doing? Kissing his enemy in battle? Why? I don't understand. I'm beginning to feel dizzy.' Inverse Tohka thought to herself as her Nahemah was slowly fading away and her hold on it loosened a bit.

She then remembers a memory of Shido while she said his name.

"Shido!"

'It's as if I'm losing control over my body.' Inverse Tohka thought as her dark sword begins to fade away as light particles from the tip of the blade.

She then remembers another memory.

"Shido."

'Every time I hear that name, I feel nauseous.' She thought as the Nahemah fully disappeared in her hand before she remembered another memory of Shido.

"Shido!"

'Yet it feels good.' Tohka thought as her eyes changed back to their original color.

Shido then removed his lips as Tohka looked at his face as he smiled at her.

'Ah, how could I have forgotten? The one who gave me my name.' She then remembers another memory.

"Shido."

'Who become my final hope…' Tohka thought before she finally said his name.

"Shido?"

"That's right!" Shido said.

Then Tohka's dark Spirit armor had disappeared and changed into her maid outfit and her hair changed back into her natural pure dark-purple color.

Both Shido and Tohka gently land back on the now ruined top of DEM's First Office Building as the sun begins to rise before Shido falls on his knee.

As Shido stood up he heard Tohka muttering to herself.

"What did I…" Tohka muttered as she couldn't remember what happened.

Shido flinches from his wounds.

"Shido! Are you alright?" Tohka asks in worry, and Shido smiles at her.

"Yeah, I think so. How are you feeling, Tohka? Do you know what happened?" Shido asked, and Tohka blinked in confusion.

"Huh? What are you talking about?" Tohka asked before Shido pets her on the head.

"Never mind, then. I'll just ask Kotori and Reine-san. For now, welcome back, Tohka." Shido said with a smile, and while she was still confused, Tohka smiled back at Shido.

"Yeah! I'm back, Shido!" Tohka said.

That's when they saw Beast had arrived as he ran up the stairs before he took a moment to catch his breath.

"Nitou?" Shido said to see him.

"Ah man…It was tough running up here. Especially since there's a lot of stairs." Beast mutters before he saw that the building's top was now in ruins and saw the large crater in the city. "What the heck?! What happened?"

"I'll explain later…" Shido mutters.

The Fraxinus crew couldn't help but smile and cheer for Shido's success in bringing Tohka back to her senses.

Kotori then brings a lollipop in her mouth.

"The big riot that occurred in Tengu City, suspected to be due to some sort of hallucinogen, has been quelled. Miraculously, there have been no reported deaths. Witnesses say…" A news reporter said on the radio.

Standing on the ruined grounds from the battlefield was Kurumi and her clones.

"Looks like this isn't the place, either." Kurumi said with a smile before her clones jumped into her shadow.

"The captive Spirit…Where are you?" Kurumi said as she danced into a nearby shadow and disappeared.

(Next day)

After the events from last night, the people who were under Miku's control are now free and thankfully they can't remember what happened yesterday.

Thanks to Kizaki, the National Security Bureau were able to hide the truth about the riots by saying it was the result of a hallucinogen being released by terrorists and they managed to arrest them.

Now in Tengu Square, despite the building undergoing repairs Miku was performing a concert in the auditorium.

After her last performance, Miku was in the dressing room and that's when Shido had arrived.

"Here you are, Darling!" Miku greeted him with a loving smile and her fully recovered voice as she runs up and hugs much to Shido's surprise.

"D-Darling?! What the hell? I thought you hated men!" Shido said, and Miku chuckled as she stepped away from him.

"But you're special! You saved my life, after all!" Miku reminded him, and Shido blushed a bit before he showed the letter Miku had sent him.

"And what's with this letter? Why do we need to talk in private?" Shido asked.

"Oh, right." Miku said as she leaned on him and kissed him on the lips.

As a result of that, Miku's Spirit power was now being sealed by Shido as her Astral Dress disappeared leaving her without any clothes.

Miku cries out in shock as she breaks the kiss.

"Oh, you're so fast! You're such a pervert, Darling." Miku said with a teasing tone as she covered herself.

"W-Wait, that wasn't me!" Shido said as he tried to explain.

Miku chuckles before she turns back to him.

"I'm kidding. The others told me everything." She told him.

"About sealing your powers?" Shido asked, and Miku nodded.

"I remembered your promise. You told me that even if I lost my voice and nobody would help me, you would stay to hear me sing." Miku said.

"Yeah, I will." Shido swore to her.

"You fulfilled your promise. I'm comfortable around you. I can trust you." Miku said before she hugs him closely. "Even if I lose my voice and nobody wants to hear me sing, all I'll ever need is you. If that ever happens…I'll sing…just for you."

"Miku…" Shido mutters.

Miku then let go of him, and Shido was about to bring out his Dress Up Ring to give her some clothes, but…

"Shido!" Tohka calls out as she slams open the door and Shido flinches. "Here you are! Everyone's shouting for Miku and an encore or bonbon core or…something…"

Tohka stops to see that Miku was now naked as Shido stiffly turns to her.

"T-Tohka…" Shido mutters.

"Wh…What are you doing, Shido?!" Tohka exclaimed.

"T-Tohka! I can explain!" Shido said before Miku called out to him.

"Hey, Darling." Shido turns back to her.

"Yeah?"

"Darling?" Tohka blinks in confusion.

"Will you watch the encore?" Miku asked.

"Yeah." Shido nodded, and Tohka tilted her head in confusion.

The lights on the stage turned on and the audience cheered as they swung their glow sticks as Miku was standing on the stage.

Miku was now wearing a pink color outfit which was created by Shido as she was wearing the Dress Up Ring and held a mic in her hand.

"Thank you so much. I'm going to sing a song that's very special to me." Miku told the audience before the music came on.

(Cue: My Treasure)

Standing on the balcony was Shido and his friends, and as Shido listens to the music he recognizes it.

"This is Yoimachi Tsukino's…" Shido said.

"Shower head wo mic ni mitatete ha"

"Bathroom hibiku koe la la la la la la utau"

The audience were left a little confused as they didn't recognize this song before they smiled and swung their glow sticks.

"Hankyo suru oto ga nandaka tokubetsu mitai de ureshikatta"

"Ima mo ano koro no kimochi chanto omoi daseru"

As he watches her sing that song, Shido couldn't help but smile.

"Let me sing you a song & let's sing along"

"Ikusenman ni hirogaru boshi wo saikou no okurimono"

When Miku finished singing her song, she could hear the audience cheering for her while saying her name and clapping.

"Miku!"

"Miku-tan!"

Miku was stunned by this before she became overjoyed as she began to shed tears of joy.

"Everyone, thank you so much!" Miku told the audience and said a more personal message to Shido. "Thank you, Darling! I love you!"

Hearing that surprised the entire audience, and even Shido was surprised by this as his eyes turned white while gasping.

Then his friends beside looks at him suspiciously.

"Darling?" Kaguya said.

"Repeat: Darling?" Yuzuru said.

"Darling?" Yoshino said in confusion.

"Don't tell me!" Yoshinon said.

"I heard her calling you that backstage. Shido, what is this 'darling' business about?" Tohka asked.

"I'm with Tohka on this. Did something happen between you and Miku?" Rinne asked in suspicion.

"Anything to say about that, Shido-san?" Mikie asked in suspicion as well.

"Well, uh…" Shido mutters as he wasn't sure how to explain.

"Shido?" Kaguya said.

"Interrogation: Shido?" Yuzuru said.

"Shido-san." Yoshino said.

"Shido-kun?" Yoshinon said.

"Shido!" Tohka said as she moved close to him.

Nitou scratches his finger on his cheek.

"Not sure that I should be jealous or feel sorry about him." Nitou said.

Koyomi sighed as she turned away from Shido.

"He does bring this to himself sometimes." Koyomi said.

Shido then saw that Miku was waving at him which caused him to close his eyes while sweating.

He could hear Kotori chuckling in his earpiece.

"Look at you, you playboy!" Kotori told him with a teasing tone.

Shido lowered his head as he leaned on the railing.

(Day to Story by Kaori Sadohara)

(Sore wa sore wa hatenai tabi. Kimi wo sukuu yūsha no monogatari.) (The screen showed the starry night sky above Tengu City, and then it lowered to Wizard's back as he was standing before it moved to his face as Wizard raised his head as the sun rose in front of him.)

(Aru otogi no kuni Tabidatsu wa yūsha) (Next it changes to the park where Shido and Tohka had their first date, as we see two Wizards striking a pose in Flame Style and Flame Dragon Style before we Yoshinon holding the Water Style Ring appearing on the screen as it change the background.)

(Sōgen kakenuke Mezasu wa ohime-sama) (Next we see Arubi Island and show two Wizards in Water Style and Water Dragon Style striking a pose, and next Tohka appears as she wears the Hurricane Style Ring as the background changes.)

(Makkura na dōkutsu kaze fuki-areru yama koeteku) (Next we see it was night time in Tengu City as the screen showed DEM's Japan Branch, and two Wizards in Hurricane Style and Hurricane Dragon Style standing on top of another building striking a pose, before Origami appeared wearing the Land Style Ring as the background changes to Tenguu Square and showed two Wizards in Land and Land Dragon Styles also striking a pose.)

(Tsurugi wo kazashite) (Sandalphone appears as it changes the screen, as we see Shido wounded and kneeling on the ground with the very same Angel in his hands as he had in front of him)

(Hitomi ni utsuru yūki no honō) (As Shido's powers healed his wounds, he looked up and stood on his feet.)

(Yami no te wo furi-harai kimi no te wo nigiru) (Next we see two hands appearing as they reach out and grab onto each other in a fingerlock and a brought light appears between them as it changes the screen white.)

(Ima datte yume datte tsurugi wo te ni. Kimi no koto mitsukeru yo yami wo saite. Taore tatte tsuraku tatte makenai kara. Kono te wo gyutto tsukamaete) Then it changes to a black sword floating in the starry night sky as the screen moves down, as it did the Yamai Twins appeared, then changes to Kotori in her commander outfit licking her candy, then we see Miku smiling at the screen, then change to Yoshino and Yoshinon smiling as well. Next Tohka appeared on screen but she was wearing a dark and different Astral Dress and had an expression that made it seem like she was a different person. Next we see Kurumi's face appearing on screen as she moves away from it.)

(Kienai yūki no honō ga (Dead or Alive) (Then as Kurumi fades away, flames appear out of nowhere as it covers and changes the background.)

(Sekai terashite-iru) (It changes to Tohka and Shido standing on a beach as they watch the setting sun while holding hands.)

Both Shido and Tohka in their favorite spot in the city, they were talking about the time she went Inverse.

"I see. So you really remember nothing about what happened." Shido said.

"Sorry, Shido." Tohka said.

"There's nothing to apologize for." Shido assured her.

"There's only one thing I remember." Tohka said and Shido blinked. "Before the blackout, when you were stabbed in the chest, I felt a strong pain in my chest. It felt like I was turning into someone else."

"Tohka…" Shido said before Tohka lowered her head.

"As her sword approached you, my own screams grew faint as if they were far away. I was so afraid." Tohka said with her hands on her chest.

Shido then grabbed onto her hands and Tohka raised her head.

"Shido?" Tohka said in confusion.

"Everything's all right, Tohka. I'm right here. I'll make sure you never have to go through that again." Shido promised her.

"Shido!"

"Even if, hypothetically, you lose yourself again, I'll take your hand." Shido promised her once again, and Tohka nodded.

"Okay." Tohka smiles at Shido and he smiles back at her.

"Shido…"

"Tohk-" Shido said before.

"There you are!" Yoshinon called out and to their surprise they saw Yoshino, Kaguya, Yuzuru, and Miku had appeared.

"Darling, don't give Tohka-san all your attention!" Miku said in jealousy.

Kaguya then chuckles at them.

"We too want to hold hands, have an affectionate hug, and perhaps even get a kiss!" Kaguya said.

"I-I didn't go that far!" Shido told them.

"Objection: You were just about to." Yuzuru stated.

"It was really obvious!" Yoshinon said in agreement.

Miku then grabs onto Shido's hands.

"Darling!" Miku said before she brought out her lips for a kiss.

"H-Hey! What do you think you're doing?" Tohka asked to get their attention.

"Not before I do!" Kaguya said as she stepped forward.

"Suggestion: We should take turns kissing him." Yuzuru said.

"Y-Yes, let's take turns." Yoshino said in agreement.

"All right! We should have Shido-kun decide who goes first, then!" Yoshinon said.

"Very well!" Tohka said with white eyes. "Let's have whoever eats soy flour bread the fastest go first!"

As the Spirits continue to argue with each other, Shido was able to sneak out of the circle they made around him and was about to sneak away without them noticing, but then Yoshinon stops him by grabbing onto his arm.

Shido looks at the puppet as she looks at him as well.

"You're not going anywhere, Shido-kun." Yoshinon told him with a dark smile on her face.

Shido was able to pull his arm free and ran away.

"Give me a break!" Shido shouted.

"Hey, he ran away!" Kaguya said.

"Pursuit." Yuzuru said.

"Hold on, Shido!" Tohka calls out to the Ringed Mage.

Alright! That's it with the Miku arc, and onto the other half of Wizard. Yeah, I decided to continue this season, because I felt like it would be a waste, especially since I had a second opening and ending song for this story season.

Also don't expect Natsumi to appear in this season, especially after what happened at the end of her arc.
