Chapter 1227
Bring It Down
Holly, Jan and Summer ended up on the pool deck after a quick tour of the ship.
Everything was right where Summer knew it would be. It was more exciting to see it in person than it was to look at the deck plan and images.
The girls asked a few questions. They mainly followed along with the tour.
Holly was very pleased at how excited and thrilled Jan and Summer were to be on the ship and see everything.
It was really a first time experience for both of the girls to see anything like it or the level of luxury. It was very far removed from the simple lives they both led as they were prepared for the future. The surroundings were a big difference from the Resistance base.
Holly was from the alternate future. She'd been to Cameron's future. The two different futures she'd experienced were nothing but a brutal struggle for humans to survive in. Here she was with the two girls and the promise 'a future' should hold for them. Would it be the future she'd come from or the other future she'd been too? She didn't want it to be either of those futures.
Cameron offered to take them all into the past to live their lives away from the living Hell every Skynet wanted to create. She was very concerned for their future now. She could take them to the past herself. They would be protected in the past. She knew no place was safe. It all came down to something very simple. Some places were safer than others.
Jan was thrilled at everything she'd seen so far. It was more like some of the things she'd watched on TV when she was allowed to watch it. She went out with her parents sometimes. It was never anything like where she was at now. She'd noticed her mother was always very nervous when they went out. It gave her comfort to know Jim or Bob was always nearby when they did.
"This is fun." Jan said as she looked at Holly.
Holly looked a little off.
"Are you OK?" Jan asked.
There was a blank look on Holly's face.
"What?" Holly asked as she looked around.
Holly was aware Summer now held her hand.
Summer knew how to help Terminators in distress. She knew how to help Holly.
"She's fine." Summer said.
Holly wondered what happened. She was worried for the girl's future. She checked her chronometer. Only a few seconds had elapsed.
"I was just thinking about some things." Holly said. "I'm fine."
Jan looked at Summer.
Summer gave Holly's hand a gentle squeeze and released it.
Holly looked at the two girls and smiled. She was as good as new. She didn't want anything bad to happen to them. She didn't want anything bad to happen to any of them. She wanted to see what the girls would like to do next.
"There's food on this deck if you want lunch." Holly said.
Jan spotted the two food stations at one end of the pool. She'd also noticed the ice cream station at the other end of the pool. She saw the type of food she liked. It was what she normally had if she went out with her father. He would take her to any place she wanted to eat at. Her mother wasn't as pliable.
"Do you want pizza or a burger?" Jan asked.
Summer wanted to check out the buffet one more time. She wanted to try different things. She didn't want to get the same things she could get all the time.
"Can we see the buffet again?" Summer asked. "I saw a few things I wanted to look at and maybe try there."
Holly would do whatever she could for the girls to have a good time. It was a better life for them where they were now.
"We can do whatever you want." Holly said. "You can each choose things you want to do or a place to go. We can do all of them."
Jan wanted to know more about the onboard activities for Summer and her.
"What about the places for young adults like us?" Jan asked. "They sound like fun."
Holly wanted to know what they wanted.
"They're located in several areas." Holly said. "Do you want to be with others your age, or more of your mental and educational development age?"
Jan wondered about it. She knew in her case should be with the young adults. She didn't think the same thing would apply to Summer.
"Summer would need to be with the adults then." Jan said. "She's the smartest person I know. She would be able to tell them things they didn't know. She knows everything."
Summer shrugged her shoulders slightly.
"I know a few things." Summer said. "I don't know everything."
Summer tried to learn as much as she could. The voices at night helped a lot.
Holly was worried about one thing in particular. She didn't want them to be around older boys unless she was standing there. She was fearful of the things that could happen. She needed to remind herself they were in a very controlled setting. It was a little safer than just about any other place where there were other people.
Summer wanted a bit more of a challenge.
"I want to go with an older group than my age group." Summer said.
Holly would have the girls say they were older if anyone wanted to know. Jim contacted her earlier and said he could provide 'documentation' to back it up. He could alter their data in the ship's computer if necessary.
"You're both going to add a few years to your age if anyone asks." Holly said. "I don't think they will. It's clear you're well mannered and highly intelligent."
Jan wanted to do it. She wasn't allowed to lie to her parents. Now she could lie if necessary and it was OK. She wanted to make sure.
"Do you want us to lie?" Jan asked.
Holly needed to rethink what they were about to do. She would turn it into a training mission.
"No. Lying is bad. The truth is very important." Holly said. "This is now infiltration practice. Your mission is to enter the objective and blend in as if you belong there. Sometimes the facts needed to be rearranged. Your mission is to not be detected as being younger. There's a certain amount of deception and misdirection associated with a successful infiltration. The goal is always to successfully complete the mission."
Jan liked the explanation. It seemed like the same thing but with a specific purpose.
"It sounds like fun." Jan said. "Cameron teaches me how to infiltrate sometimes. It looks like this will be a little bit different. I went to test my skills."
They were now in the buffet area.
Holly saw the girls look at all the food choices. She'd been out with Summer and her family before to a buffet. The food in the buffet on the ship was a little better class of food. She thought about some of the waste she'd observed at more than a few restaurants.
"Take some food but don't overdo it." Holly said. "You can take things and split them to share. You can always go back for more."
Summer knew the challenges of the future from Allison. She knew of some of the food she was forced to eat to survive.
"We won't waste any food." Summer said.
Summer and Jan looked around at the plates people left on the tables. Many of them contained a lot of uneaten food. The amount of waste troubled them.
Holly didn't want the girls to dwell on what they looked at. She was aware most humans wouldn't fare well in a Skynet future. Only the strongest of them would survive.
"Other people don't understand the future." Holly said.
Holly watched as the plates were picked up by the waiters and were dumped into a container. It looked like a mess of slop. She knew the girls from the future would have been thrilled to come across a find like that for something to eat. Sometimes they went days without any food. Allison told her many stories about life in the future. Few of them were pleasant, very few.
Jan noticed the far off look in Holly again.
"What's wrong, Holly?" Jan asked.
Holly looked back at Jan. She didn't want them shackled by the future.
"You girls get whatever you want. If you can't finish it or don't like it, you don't need to eat it." Holly said. "I want you both to try new things and explore. If you don't like them, you know not to get it the next time. Leave it and move on to the next thing on your plate. We're on vacation now. The future isn't here."
Holly feared the day in a Skynet future when the girls might have to eat slop like what was being thrown away. They deserved something better than that. It bothered her more to think they may not have anything at all. She was worried what the girls might be forced to do to obtain food to eat.
Cameron made sure all the Terminators learned of the Donner Party in case food was scarce in the future for the girls. They were to provide the girls with food and not disclose its source under any circumstances. They were to be protected above all others. They would be provided with enough protein to survive.
Derek, Riley, Sarah and Kyle were with Ally and Sheila.
The group was in the van headed back to the dock. Ken and Lou were with them. There was one Terminator for each of them if the need arose. It seemed highly unlikely at this point.
Riley was hot and a little tired so they were being taken back to the ship in the air conditioned van.
Sarah kept an eye on Riley. She knew she was still out of shape.
Riley wanted to make one stop before they got back on the ship.
"Can we look around in the gift shop we saw when we got off the ship?" Riley asked.
Sarah answered for the group. They would follow her decision if they wanted to or not.
"Of course we can." Sarah said. "We're on vacation."
Riley wanted to explain herself. She didn't want anything for herself. It was to be a gift.
"I thought maybe I could get something for Samantha." Riley said. "I wanted to show her my appreciation for all of her help."
Riley looked at Ally and Sheila.
"What would a Terminator like as a gift?" Riley asked.
Derek and Kyle looked at each other and smiled.
"I'd say a new gun." Derek said.
Kyle played along.
"Or maybe they'd like a bomb of some kind." Kyle said. "They'd at least like a little C-4 if nothing else."
Sarah gave Derek and Kyle a stern look.
"Now you know why she didn't ask you two." Sarah said.
Ally wanted to keep it simple.
"We don't need anything." Ally said. "We don't really own anything."
Sheila lifted her top up.
"All I own are my rings." Sheila said.
Sheila held her top up an extra second for Riley to take a good look. She wasn't the only one to look. Everyone in the group took a look.
"That's beautiful, Sheila." Riley said. "Do you ever want or need anything?"
Derek pointed out the way it worked.
"They just take what they need." Derek said. "It's actually quite efficient."
Sheila wasn't going to dispute it. She wanted to qualify it.
"That's true. We do take something if we need it." Sheila said. "We also pay for it later on now. They'll be compensated for triple of what it cost if we need to take it for an immediate need."
Ally learned to be responsible from Savannah and why.
"Savannah has asked us to be respectful and to think of others. People need to work hard for their money." Ally said. "This isn't the future yet."
Sheila was very pleased with Savannah on multiple levels. Her favorite was the bedroom.
"Savannah's the greatest." Sheila said.
Riley wanted a better answer for a gift. She looked at Sheila and Ally.
"I want Ally and Sheila to come with me alone and away from those two." Riley said. "They're a bad influence."
She indicated Derek and Kyle. They both looked a little offended.
Ally wanted to help Riley out.
"No problem." Ally said.
Sheila thought about lifting her top again to remind Riley how all females would like to look. She might suggest a set of nipple rings when they were away from everyone else. She thought it showed a certain sense of style and a lot of flair. She liked to have a little pizzazz and thought Samantha might as well. What could it hurt?
"If I see anything that catches my fancy, I'll tell you." Sheila said.
Riley wanted to include Sarah. She valued Sarah's opinions and guidance.
"Sarah can come too if she wants." Riley said. "I'd like her input. There's nothing like an honest opinion to keep everyone's head on straight."
Sarah smiled. She liked to tell things how they were. She'd also like another look at Sheila's rings. The idea always intrigued her.
Ken was willing to take them elsewhere if they wanted. He didn't think they'd been off the ship for very long.
"Are you sure you want to go back to the ship already?" Ken asked. "There are other stores here too."
Derek felt he'd seen enough.
"I think we looked at everything there was to see in this town." Derek said.
Derek touched the small bottle with the little blue pills in his pocket. He wondered again if they came with instructions. He figured they would be in Spanish if they did. Maybe they wouldn't be. It seemed most of the pharmacies had signs in English on the window as well. They were clearly directed at English speaking visitors.
Riley didn't want everyone to go back to the ship just because she was. Maybe there was something else they could see on the way back. She noticed there were some brochures in the room. They discussed different tours that were available through the ship. She'd briefly glanced over it because she knew they weren't going to take any. Maybe she should have looked at everything a little further just so she knew what was available. She would need to do it for the next port.
"Is there anything else to see or do?" Riley asked. "Were already out."
Ken and Lou looked at each other. They both knew there was one place they could go.
"We can take you to the blowhole." Lou said.
Riley looked at Derek. It sounded like some kind of bad sexual joke. He was known for telling those.
"Did Derek tell you to say that?" Riley asked.
Sarah laughed and touched Riley's arm.
"He means La Bufadora." Sarah said. "It is like a geyser."
Kyle didn't want to deal with crowds. It was bad enough on the city streets in a few places with a lot of tourists milling around. It was the same way on the ship too. The ship was a much more controlled environment. He didn't need to worry about pickpockets on the ship.
"It sounds like a hassle." Kyle said. "There might be crowds of people."
Ken wanted them to know Jan and Summer enjoyed seeing it.
"The girls liked it." Ken said. "We took them there earlier. They wanted to stay longer. We needed to return so they could get on the ship."
The idea made Riley wonder. It sounded interesting. She'd always heard about geysers. She was a little confused as to exactly how they worked.
"Jan and Summer liked it?" Riley asked.
Ken wanted to clarify the conditions they went under.
"Yes." Ken said. "We were there early. There were no crowds."
Derek wanted to see what the adults thought. He felt he knew Jesse fairly well. At least he used to. He didn't know Claire well. She seemed level headed.
"What about Jesse and Claire?" Derek asked. "I mean, what was their opinion of La - whatever it was.
Ken thought they were excited at first but the marine geyser soon lost its appeal to them.
"They thought it was OK." Ken said. "Jan and Summer liked it much more than they did."
They were almost at the turn off to go back to the ship.
"I need to know before we get to the next street." Lou said.
Sarah looked at the others. Maybe only Riley wanted to go.
"I don't know." Sarah said.
Jim was in the Control Center. He could hear Jesse and Claire in the room next to him. It sounded like they'd switched Metal girls. They were on the second round already.
He followed Holly and the two girls as they moved around the ship with the different security cameras. Holly waited outside the area where the girls were. They weren't with the few other children around their age group. They were with older children and Summer was the smallest of the group. She also seemed to be the biggest hit.
Summer and Jan dominated all of the physical activities and seemed to win at all the games. It was clear their Resistance training made them superior to the other children in every category, especially in intelligence.
Holly always remained within earshot of any of the activities.
Jim thought things on the ship were under control. It was what happened off of the ship that seemed to cause him worry.
There was the activity in the vicinity of the old newspaper plant.
Cam was going after a trucker for further investigation. It involved the two girls they'd 'found' at the location.
John and Cameron were still on the streets of Ensenada. There was no way to watch them. There were very few surveillance cameras in Ensenada hooked up to any off site computer systems. Their GPS showed on a satellite map.
The van with the rest of the team about to return to the ship was stopped near the turnoff to the ship. He listened to the coms as they decided what to do next. They were currently watching some videos on YouTube regarding the marine geyser.
It was Savannah and Cammy who worried him.
Cammy and Savannah watched the man who walked along the railroad tracks through a drone image.
It appeared he was a Gray or a Fanatic who looked like a homeless individual from the footage.
Cammy studied the drone image carefully. She thought the man was about to bolt.
"I think he's going to go over the fence coming up on the south side." Cammy said.
Savannah wanted to use Young Allison's long range plan. She thought there was more than one way to use the plan.
"Young Allison has a plan to stop him." Savannah said. "We can use the option."
Cammy was irritated at the delay. She wanted some answers. She knew how to get them.
"I would rather terminate him myself." Cammy said. "I'm going to drive up there to him."
Savannah worried it was exactly what he wanted. He was out in the open and exposed. If anyone approached him now, it would be clear what they were about to do. She still felt the need for caution.
"Maybe it's what he wants us to do." Savannah said. "The guy is leaving a trail anyone could follow."
Cammy needed to look at the facts. She didn't want to make an impulsive mistake. She didn't want to be the kitten with the string dangling in front of it. She needed to consider Savannah's warning.
"It seems that way." Cammy said.
Savannah wanted an update.
"John Henry, what else do you have on the place where he made the call to?" Savannah asked.
John Henry felt they would have some additional information soon.
"CamNet has dispatched a drone to orbit the area." John Henry said. "It will give us eyes on the target."
Savannah smiled to herself. It was clear Young Allison was behind it. She always tried to look out for everyone.
"That was fast." Savannah said. "What's our current drone coverage?"
John Henry knew there was more drone coverage than usual, especially for a daylight operation.
"There are two drones with Cam and the truck. There's one over the newspaper plant and one with Steve and Tom. There is one with Cammy and you as well as one on the suspected Gray." John Henry said. "Al and Ed are also covered."
Savannah counted eight drones in play. At least it was eight they knew about. She wanted to double check their altitude.
"Are all the drones still at fifty thousand feet?" Savannah asked.
John Henry didn't like having so many drones operate in the daylight. It was a moot point right now. They were already out. From the altitude they operated at, they would only be able to use a missile.
"Right now they are." John Henry said. "Any of them can respond with a missile attack. They're all currently 'hot'. The travel time will require a few extra seconds from their altitude."
Savannah didn't know if it was a good idea. If they needed a missile strike, it would be on its way instantly. She didn't want anyone to jump the gun when I came to the use of a missile.
"There should be a double verification on a missile firing order unless it is an emergency." Savannah said.
Cammy received an acknowledgement directly from CamNet.
"CamNet has complied with your request." Cammy said. "John Henry will double check anyway."
Savannah wanted to know what else was in the air around them. She thought about how they currently watched the man who walked along the railroad tracks. She wondered how anyone else was able to keep track of him.
"Is there anything else in the air?" Savannah asked. "I think we're missing something."
John Henry hadn't spotted anything. He'd been on the lookout for an HK drone. He was aware it would pose the biggest threat to their troops on the ground.
"I've been checking." John Henry said. "There are no HK drones detected anywhere, either up high or down low."
Young Allison and Anna poured over all the information from CamNet.
CamNet checked it herself as well and sent it to John Henry.
Young Allison thought about something they'd done yesterday. It was a first for them.
"I think Savannah is onto something." Young Allison said. "At the port we used a small drone John Henry commandeered."
Anna thought it was used based on opportunity.
"That's correct." Anna said.
Young Allison knew John Henry and CamNet searched for HK drones. She wanted a better check for something smaller.
"I think it's what we need to look for around where our teams are at." Young Allison said. "I want to make sure there are no smaller drones in the area."
Anna received an update.
"CamNet and John Henry have changed the search parameters." Anna said. "There are two small drones detected."
The information immediately sent up a red flag for Young Allison. She hadn't designated a search parameter. She wanted to know how close they were.
"Are they anywhere near our troops on the ground?" Young Allison asked.
Anna didn't like the location of one of them.
"There's one that seems to be trailing the Gray by the railroad tracks." Anna said. "It's the one closest to where Cammy and Savannah are at."
Young Allison wanted the threat ended immediately.
"Bring it down." Young Allison said.
Anna received an immediate response.
"CamNet is confirming a missile launch." Anna said.
It wasn't what Young Allison expected. She looked over at Anna.
"What?" Young Allison asked.
Young Allison was worried about what she may have just done.
John enjoyed his time out with Cameron.
"Do we need to be back by a certain time?" John asked.
Cameron tilted her head slightly.
"No." Cameron said. "CamNet can keep the ship in port as long as we need it to be there. We should try to be back before dinner though."
John was a little surprised at the answer. He didn't want to delay the ship's departure or anyone else's itinerary.
"I mean, do we need to be back for anything specific?" John asked.
Cameron didn't think so.
"It will be our formal dress up night for dinner." Cameron said. "We need to have time to prepare for it."
Cameron hoped they'd be able to do a few other things before they dressed up after they returned. They would be undressed for those.
John wanted to get away from the other tourists. The further north and east they moved, the fewer people there were. Soon there was no one.
Cameron wasn't exactly sure what John planned.
John wanted to be alone with Cameron. He sent Dan and Frank ahead.
Cameron was going to say something when John reached down and took her hand.
It was clear John was trying to be more romantic.
They walked along one of the side streets and over a bridge towards the east.
They were happy to be in the company of each other.
"I'm having a really good time so far, Cameron." John said.
Cameron smiled at John. She was very pleased at the things John allowed her to do.
"I am too." Cameron said. "I've been able to do some new things. They were things I wanted to do for a long time."
John gave her a small kiss.
"I think it is very exciting for both of us." John said.
Cameron was pleased at the events.
"My program has been in both male and female Terminator chassis before." Cameron said. "This is the first time I was able to enjoy the fruits of it."
Cameron hoped it was only the tip of the iceberg. Her new experiences drove her to want more.
John wondered how things were going to play out. He knew it was easy for Cameron to obsess on something.
"Was it the forbidden fruit?" John asked.
Cameron didn't see it that way at all. She hoped it was the start of something new. It was a new beginning for her.
"No." Cameron said. "It was the fruit we both wanted."
John couldn't deny it. It was something he wanted. It was something he thought about with all of the girls. It didn't matter if they were human or a Terminator. It was a new experience. He was ready for more.
"I guess it was." John said.
Cameron turned towards John and gave him a kiss.
"It was." Cameron said.
John wanted to express himself better.
"I want to say that…." John started.
Cameron glanced behind them. She became immediately alarmed.
"We have a tail." Cameron interrupted. "Don't look."
John was instantly alert but didn't look. He almost did, even after she told him not to. He wanted to know the nature of the threat.
"How many are there?" John asked. "Are there any vehicles?"
Cameron faced forward again but tried to listen behind them.
"I make it as two males on foot." Cameron said. "They're closing."
John didn't want things to get out of hand. He knew how Cameron handled things.
"Unless they have firearms, don't kill them." John said. "We don't know what their intentions are."
Cameron thought it was obvious. She spelled it out for John.
"It's most likely to rob us and then abuse me." Cameron said. "We've wandered off the main streets."
John didn't think it was Skynet related. He understood it was bad enough with what Cameron described. If they were a normal couple, they would be in severe jeopardy. In their case, they weren't a normal couple. He didn't want to chance any witnesses to whatever was about to happen.
"We need to lead them to a more secluded place." John said. "Maybe you only need to teach them a lesson."
Cameron tried to contact the rest of the team. Her threat level increased dramatically.
"I've lost communication with everyone." Cameron said.
John hoped it wasn't a Skynet jamming field. He knew he'd made a mistake to send Dan and Frank ahead. He wanted some private time with Cameron. With Cameron's com down he wasn't going to take any chances. He didn't want to get 'jammed up' in Mexico again. The trouble last time was enough. The loss of communications was the final straw. It was time to unleash Cameron and allow her to do what she was constructed for.
"We're armed." John said. "Use whatever force you think is necessary."
It was what Cameron planned to do. She wanted John protected.
"When I face them, I need you to stay behind me." Cameron said. "This is no time for heroics when we're alone and isolated. Do you hear me?"
John could feel Cameron's concern. He didn't want to cause her any more grief or worry than she already experienced.
"I hear you." John said.
Cameron listened to the rapid footsteps behind them.
"They're closing." Cameron said. "Get ready."
Cameron didn't know exactly what was happening. She did know it wasn't anything good. The fact she couldn't contact anybody, was her biggest worry.
Allison and Vanna worked in the lab.
"I'm just about finished here." Allison said.
Vanna glanced over where Allison worked. She liked what she saw.
"Everything looks good." Vanna said. "I'll be done here soon."
Allison went over and looked at the monitors. She hadn't paid attention for a while since nothing actually happened. Everything seemed to have wound down. It didn't appear to be the case any longer.
"There seems to be a lot of things happening." Allison said.
Vanna wanted Allison to narrow the search.
"Ask John Henry to show you what's relevant or the most current events." Vanna said.
Everything looked important to Allison.
"It looks like they all are." Allison said.
Vanna wanted it narrowed down even more.
"Call John Henry and ask." Vanna said. "I'll be finished here in a little bit."
It seemed like a lot of drone activity to Allison. She could see there were images from at least eight different drones.
"There's a lot of drone footage." Allison said. "I don't want to bother him."
Vanna quickly finished up with what she was working on. She hurried over to the monitors.
"Let me see." Vanna said.
Allison didn't usually stay too long in the bunker when she went to check on Young Allison.
"You'll know better than me. I don't usually follow all the operations." Allison said. "I leave it up to Allison."
Vanna looked at everything. It was clear there was a lot going on. She still wasn't sure exactly what everything was.
"There's the potential for a lot to happen." Vanna said.
Allison knew there was one person she could contact.
"Maybe I should call Allison." Allison said. "She'll know everything and won't be afraid to tell me."
Vanna didn't want Young Allison distracted. Based on what she looked at. It appeared to be the work of Young Allison.
"No." Vanna said. "I think she's directing most of this."
Allison looked at everything that was happening again. She wondered if she would be able to do the same thing. It only took her a moment to remember she actually was.
Samantha was with Precious back in Riley's room.
She was very content to watch Precious on her own.
Precious was asleep now. Samantha decided not to go into standby. She could spend hours just watching her sleep. It was something she often did anyway.
She wondered what it was like to be able to have a child and nourish it.
She wondered what it was like to be a baby….
The female Fanatic reached a three way junction. She could hear what sounded like machinery off to the right. She could hear talking in the passageway in front of her.
She immediately turned to the left passageway and started to run. She felt trapped at this point with no way out.
She'd thrown caution to the wind as panic began to set in. She didn't want to be captured alive. All she held was her knife in her hand. She continued to look behind her. It was the last place where she'd heard voices.
She saw there were a few doors coming up. She thought about hiding in one of them. She looked down at the knife again. There wouldn't be any place to hide as soon as they discover the man she'd killed. She looked down at her exposed breasts as her shirt opened up since she started to run. She knew what was going to happen when they captured her. She really didn't know why she needed to be born a female.
Larry and Hank met up with each other in just a few seconds. They briefed each other on what they'd learned so far. They decided to continue forward and terminate the group of men at the next junction of the passageway.
They paused when they reached the junction and listened. They wanted to make sure there was no one else coming from either direction. No one could be detected. They decided to make their move.
They both move forward. Larry would take the targets on the left and Hank would take the targets on the right. Once their section was clear, they would turn to reinforce the other one.
Larry immediately saw three targets on his side. He held his Taser and silenced M9 ready. He opened up on the three targets with his pistol. He was ready to switch to the Taser if they didn't go down.
Hank only spotted one target on his side. He used his silenced M9. He fired one round and then turned to back up Larry.
The four targets were down.
They quickly glanced around the room. They didn't have time to do a detailed search. There were a few computers in the room. It definitely wasn't Skynet. They needed to find the female Fanatic and terminate her before a shooting spree started. They double checked to make sure there were no hidden targets and exited the room. They returned to the central passageway. They pause for a moment to listen in both directions. There was nothing new. They turned to the direction they'd been going and hurried along.
The female Fanatic was in near panic mode. She wanted to get out of the complex and get outside. She didn't know where to go. She didn't know where she was. She knew there were people behind her. She didn't think they were looking for her. She'd tried to keep everything quiet.
She thought she heard something in front of her. She immediately slowed. She thought about going back the way she'd come.
She heard the noise again. There was definitely someone in front of her. She turned to the closest door and opened it. She didn't know what she would find inside. She just knew she wanted to be somewhere different than where she was at.
Hank and Larry moved along the passageway. They soon came to the junction where they could go three directions. It was actually four directions if they went back the way they'd just come. They could hear machinery on the right branch. They could hear voices in the passageway in front of them. The left branch was quiet.
They weren't sure where the female Fanatic was at. More than likely she took the left branch. They didn't want to leave any of the enemy behind them.
The voices ahead of them weren't coming any closer. They decided to investigate what the machinery was. They would do the same entry method. Larry would take everything on the left side. Hank would take everything on the right side.
The female Fanatic opened the door to the room with her left hand. Her right hand held the bloody knife. She was ready to use it. She'd already used it earlier. She doubted she would get out of the complex she was in alive. She still had her poison tooth in her mouth. She would use it to avoid capture.
She immediately saw she was in some type of sleeping quarters. She didn't spot anyone in the room. She spotted some clothing draped over one of the bunks. She looked down at her exposed breasts again and headed for the bunk. She wanted to cover herself up.
She grabbed a shirt and slipped it on. She only buttoned two buttons. She continued to look around as she did so. She spotted something that made her heart drop. One of the bunks had rope on two of the corners she could see. She immediately knew what it was. It was a 'comfort bunk' for the Grays. The panic overwhelmed her again. She didn't want to be the one tied to it. She didn't want a line of men waiting to abuse her. To be held down was bad enough. She knew if she was tied down, it would be even worse.
The female Fanatic wanted to get out of the room. She ran towards the door. As she started to reach for the door handle, the door began to open. She was trapped.
Bring It Down
When two are together
Are they ever equal
Everything repeats itself
As they both relive a sequel
Little seems to change
From person to person
Things always start out good
Then they eventually worsen
Some are often
Taken for granted
The other needs to remember
Nothing is set in granite
To push for more
Isn't the way to go
Things that happened fast
Will soon turn slow
Don't take one for a clown
Pay attention to their frown
When the ego gets too high
Think fast and bring it down
Nobody
