Spell 27: The Dangerous Job
Wanting to learn more about Shido's newly acquired Infinity Ring, Kotori had brought him, their friends, and Reine to the Fraxinus' analysis room. Shido placed the Infinity Ring on a table that was placed inside of a scanning compartment.
Shido then left the compartment and spoke to Reine who was seated next to her computer.
"Alright, it's on the table." Shido told her.
"Good. Now let's see what this ring is made out of." Reine said before she types on her computer to begin scanning the Infinity Ring.
"I understand the reason for this, but is this really necessary?" Shido asked.
"Well what do you expect?" Kotori asked before she looked at the Infinity Ring. "You said this Ring is created by your own magic, right? So there's no telling what it's capable of. Better to be safe than sorry."
"Hai, hai." Shido said.
Kotori then turns to Reine.
"Well Reine, what's the verdict?" Kotori asked. Reine then turns to her.
"It's best that you and Shin see for yourselves." Reine told them before she uses her computer to bring out the Ring's readings on the large screens.
They were surprised by the strong readings the Infinity Ring is giving off.
"I thought Shin's current Rings were amazing, but this one might be on an entirely different level. It might be possible that like Shin, this Ring will continue to grow stronger along with him." Reine said.
"Really? That's amazing." Mikie said.
Kotori then remembers her promise on how she'll kill Shido herself if he ever loses control of himself, she then asks Reine another question.
"Is there a chance that this Ring will pose any problems towards Shido?" Kotori asked.
"No." Reine shook her head. "When he first used that Ring, he had a massive amount of magic power but that's about it. And given Shin's current nature, it wouldn't pose any problems."
"Yeah. You worry too much Kotori." Shido said.
Kotori was about to say something, but then sparks started to appear on the monitors and the scanning compartment, the sparks then began to appear rapidly and grew larger and larger.
"This isn't good! Everyone, get behind me!" Shido tells his friends as he moves forward and scans his Defend Ring on his belt.
[DEFEND, PLEASE]
Shido soon brings out a magic shield as his friends move in behind him before the scanning compartment explodes in front of them.
Shido then lowered his shield as smoke soon filled the room as everyone coughed and fan the smoke away.
"Is everyone alright?" Shido asked while coughing.
"I'm okay." Rinne said as she coughs as well.
"I-I'm fine as well." Yoshino said while coughing.
Then the Fraxinus' ventilation systems activated which sucked in the smoke that was in the room and replaced it with clean high. Then after the smoke cleared, they soon saw most of the equipment was heavily damaged along with the glass walls in the scanning device while the Infinity Ring was left completely fine as there wasn't even a scratch on it.
"Still think I'm paranoid?" Kotori questions her brother.
"Well…maybe for a bit. But like I said, I don't think there's any reason to worry." Shido said before he walks to the Infinity Ring and picks it up to look at it. "I like to think of this Ring as my own personal magic. Not something that was given to me."
While his friends smile to hear that, Kotori sighed and rubs the back of her head.
"I swear…Fine be that way. Just don't let it get over your head like last time." Kotori said, and Shido chuckled.
"Don't worry. I learned that lesson the hard way. After what happened with Legion, I'm never going to take magic granted again." Shido said before he pocketed the Ring away.
"Good." Kotori said with a smile.
They heard a familiar roar from Koyomi's bag, she then brought out her crystal ball and saw that Ghouls were attacking people around Tengu Tower.
"Ghouls are attacking." Koyomi said.
"Guess it's a good thing we're done then." Shido said as he left the room to head to the transporter and his friends followed him.
"Hey, Darling, wait for us!" Miku said.
"Best that we get ready too." Kotori said before she, Reine, and Koyomi head to the command room.
(Meanwhile)
In a camping ground in Tengu City, Nitou was preparing a barbeque for his meal. He was seen cutting onions on his cutting board but each cut, Nitou couldn't help but cry out as the onions sting his eyes.
"It hurts! It hurts!" Nitou cries out as he continues to slowly cut his first onion.
He now easily cuts his second onion as he was now wearing goggles over his eyes to protect himself.
"Piece of cake!" Nitou smiles and laughs in triumph over the onions.
His grill was cooking some corn along with meat kebabs. He then picks up two kebabs made out of different meats and vegetables.
"Looks great and is made from a variety of ingredients! Here I go!" Nitou spun to his grill but accidentally hits and sends his grill oil flying towards his grill.
Nitou cries out in worry as the can of oil landed on top of the grill with the heat and fire burning below it, Nitou once again screams in worry as he moves in to remove the can before it could explode but stops as nothing was happening.
"Huh?" Nitou said before he chuckles in relief. "What the heck?! Don't scare me-"
But like the Phantoms he had fought against, both the oil can along with the grill exploded in front of Nitou.
When the flames and smoke died down, Nitou coughed out smoke as his clothes were now in tatters and his brown comb back hair had now turned into a black afro.
Nitou then looks at his kebabs which were now small burnt black rocks, he then cries in dismay to see the state his food was now in. Nitou then slumps before he pulls up his goggles as his face now black from the ash and soot from the explosion while the color around his eyes were protected by the goggles.
Nitou looks at his now burnt kebabs and then suddenly someone splashes water in front of him. Nitou stumbles back as the person responsible gave him some words.
"You're camping the wrong way!" He told him.
"Eh? Eh?" Nitou looks at him as he puts down his bucket.
He was a young man in Nitou's age with black hair that was combed back. He was wearing a white sleeveless shirt with a black guitar image with blue jeans and brown shoes. He was also wearing a necklace with a guitar pick around his neck.
He then did an air guitar and pointed his finger in the air.
"One! One should always be wary of fire." He told him.
"Huh?!" Nitou said before he recognizes the man in front of him as he remembers him wearing a high school uniform and playing a guitar.
"One!"
"Huh? Is that you, Tsuchiya?" Nitou said.
"Eh?" Tsuchiya said before he recognizes Nitou as well and then he climbs up to his camping grounds to get a better look of him. "Oh! Is that you, Kousuke?!"
"Tsucchi! Long time no see!" Nitou greeted him with a smile. Both Nitou and Tsuchiya were best friends in high school.
"Haven't seen you since we graduated from high school!" Tsuchiya said.
"Yeah." Nitou nodded, but Tsuchiya was left confused on why he's here in Tengu City.
"Eh? I thought you were going to college in Fukui." Tsuchiya said.
"Ummm…It's complicated." Nitou said while keeping the fact that he's a Kamen Rider, even from his best friend.
Tsuchiya chose not to question it as he was just happy to meet his old friend.
"Don't tell me you're living a messy life as usual?" Tsuchiya said as he looked at Nitou's campsite.
Nitou looks at his camp as well and chuckles before he asks Tsuchiya a question.
"Oh…Well, why are you here, Tsucchi?" Tsuchiya nervously chuckled but said this.
"Oh…Well…It's complicated." Tsuchiya said before there was silence between them for about 5 seconds and Tsuchiya looked at Nitou's current appearance. "I don't get your new look, but want to visit my place?"
"Eh? Really?" Nitou said.
Around Tengu Tower, the people in the area were screaming as they ran away from the Ghouls who were attacking them. One of them was a teenage high school boy who came to a different city.
He had large black hair and glasses over his eyes, he also carried a red backpack on his back.
He screams in fear as he runs away before he falls to the ground.
Just as the Ghouls were about to attack, Wizard in Hurricane Style had arrived as he attacked the Ghouls with his sword while avoiding their attacks.
The high school boy then quickly stood up and ran away.
Wizard then changes to his Land Style Ring and scans it on his Driver.
[LAND, PLEASE]
Wizard charges forward as he changes to his Land Style, just as one Ghoul thrust its spear at him, Wizard deflected it with his sword and parries another Ghoul's attack while blocking one's attack from behind and slashes that Ghoul and slashes another one in front of him.
Wizard then avoids another Ghoul's attack, he then changes to his sword's gun mode, Wizard then spun around and fired at the Ghouls around destroying them as they fell to the ground and exploded.
With the battle done, Wizard changes back to his civilian form before he looks for the Gate, they were targeting but no one was around. That's when his friends had arrived.
"Hey, Shido!" Tohka calls out.
"Ah man. Did we miss the action? I wanted to see how cool you are, Darling." Miku said in some sadness.
They then notice Shido continues to look for the Gate.
"Is something wrong?" Rinne asked.
"Something's not right here. Besides the fact there were only Ghouls this time, they were randomly attacking people." Shido told them.
"Really?" Yoshino said.
"Then maybe there were all Gates?" Mikie said.
"Doubtful but I suppose anything's possible. For now, we should head back to the Fraxinus and see if Kotori has found anything." Shido said, they nodded before they left the area.
Unknown to Shido and his friends, Medusa was watching them from afar before a certain someone called out to her.
"Hello~!" Said Gremlin as he appeared behind Medusa while chewing on a piece of gum. "Misa-chan, what are you doing behind my back?"
"Gremlin…" Medusa said in annoyance that he's here.
"Perhaps you had forgotten what Wiseman said?" Gremlin asked with a playful smile.
"Medusa. Starting today, you shall drive Gates to despair under his orders."
"Now let's think…" Gremlin said as he walked a few steps forward. "I don't remember giving you any orders, did I, Misa-chan? Isn't that right?"
"I'm the only one who can find Gates!" Medusa reminded him, and Gremlin smiled at her.
"I know that. That's why I want your cooperation…Misa-chan…" Gremlin said but Medusa only rolled her eyes and looked to her side but Gremlin said this to her. "You're my dear…subordinate, after all."
Medusa was left enraged by this.
"I'm your subordinate?!" Medusa said, Gremlin smiles and chuckles.
"That's right."
Gremlin then grabs onto and pulls out Medusa's hand before he pulls out his used-up gum from his mouth and puts it on top of her hand.
"Be sure to wrap this in paper before throwing it away." Gremlin orders her before he leaves while chuckling.
As Medusa glares at him, even if this was on Wiseman's command, she can't help but feel infuriated to follow Gremlin's orders.

(Instrumental) (As the song begins both of Wizard's Style and Dragon Rings floating in a dark space, and images of Shido and his friends appeared in each of them before the Infinity Ring appeared between all of them.)
(Zutto hikari no naka kinō made wa nakatta ashiato o tadotte kita hodo) (The scene changes to Shido wearing his Flame Ring smiling and appearing close to him were Tohka, Koyomi, and Yoshino, then it changes to Nitou carrying his bag and wearing his Beast Ring and appearing close to him were Kotori, Rinne, Mikie, the Yamai Twins, Miku, Origami, and Kurumi before flashes of Shido, Nitou, and the Spirits changing form and ready for battle.)
(Gōru no mienai meiro ame ni utareta chizu kōkai mo nani mo nai kedo) (Then it changes to silhouettes of Wizard's Style Forms and Beast wearing his Mantles appeared one at a time before it changes to the PlaMonsters heading towards Wizard who was standing on his favorite park looking at Tengu City before he turns to the screen.)
(Sakenda koe wa) (The scene changes of Shido standing in an area of Tengu city as images of his life appeared, and then to Tohka in a different area as images of her life appeared as well.)
(The screen changes showing Tengu City and its famous landmarks.)
(Kitto todoku kara) (Next Yoshino and Koyomi appeared as images of their lives appeared, then Origami and Mikie appeared with images, then to Rinne and Koyomi, then to Kurumi and Miku, and finally Nitou)
(Then changes to Shido and his friends were about to take a group photo before Nitou suddenly wraps his arm around Shido's neck surprising both him and the others as the camera took the photo.)
(Kono monogatari no hajimaru kane no ne ga tsunagu tabi no tochū de) (The changes to Wiseman and standing next to him were Medusa and Gremlin, while Gremlin had a sinister smile on his face as he hid it. Then we see Shido and Nitou turning to them as an army of Ghouls were approaching them and they soon transformed into their Kamen Rider forms armed with their weapons and appeared next to them were the Spirits wearing their Spirit Armor armed with their Angels before they charged at the Ghouls.)
(Kimi ga egaita mirai no sekai wa itsuka no sora ni michibikarete) (Wizard was seen clashing swords against Gremlin before the two entered a bladed lock, then it changes to Beast fighting against Medusa before it changes to the Spirits each throwing an attack at the Ghouls.)
(Futatsu no omoi o hitotsu zutsu katachi ni shite kiseki o motto koete) (Then it suddenly changes to Koyomi falling into a dark abyss and saw Wizard had entered the abyss as he reach out to her and she does the same, and when the two hold hands a flash of light had appeared between them. Then it changes to Wizard and his friends standing in front of a large door as it opens revealing a bright light, his friends are giving him smiles of encouragement as Wizard smiles back at them as he enters the light.)
(Kimi ga egaita mirai no sekai wa ima mo dokoka de ikitsudzukete) (Then scenes of Shido meeting the Spirits and helping them appeared and each of them ended with them kissing them before it changes showing a dark sky with an eclipse appearing and a giant magic circle appeared in Tengu City)
(Don'na yume kasanete itsuwaru koto no nai ano hikari o) (Then the screen showed flashes of Wizard's battle thus far with flashes of his friends smiling appearing as well, before it changes to Shido shedding a tear as it falls and when the tear lands on his hand it transforms into a new Ring.)
(Ahh…on give for my way) (Then it changes to Shido standing side-by-side with his friends as the sun rises behind them. Then changes to the Axcalibur stabbed on the ground with the sun shining above it.)
After accepting his offer, Nitou had followed Tsuchiya to his home which was a small run-down shack that was also modified to suit his living arrangements.
"Eh? This is your home, Tsucchi?" Nitou said in shock as he looked at the shack.
"What's wrong? Come on in." Tsuchiya told him as he headed to the door.
"Come on, you." Nitou said.
"Huh?" Tsuchiya said and Nitou rubbed the back of his head.
"Nothing…"
Tsuchiya then begins to unlock the many different locks attached to the door; some can be opened by a different key while others can only open by different combinations.
When they soon entered the shack which was Tsuchiya's home, he opened the mini fridge and pulled out a towel from inside.
"Here." Tsuchiya throws the towel at him.
Nitou catches the towel and uses it to clean off the ash and soot that was on his face. After that, Nitou then saw that the inside was filled with expensive and rare guitars.
"Wow! This is awesome!" Nitou said as he looked at the guitars.
"Yes, I know, it's amazing." Tsuchiya said as he sat down on the small couch and was now wearing gloves. He then placed a hand on one of his guitars. "Look at this one. This is a rare one that never went into production."
Tsuchiya then gently places his hand on another guitar which was signed.
"And this one is an Eric's electric guitar! It's also signed! Don't touch!" Tsuchiya said as Nitou was about to touch it with his bare hand.
Nitou chuckled as he sat down on a chair.
"So you still love guitars! Hey, why don't you play one of your passionate beats…" Nitou requested but Tsuchiya folded his arms.
"No! I can't! These are all too valuable." Tsuchiya told him.
"What the heck?! It's a waste not to play them?!" Nitou said.
"That's not important! The memories and history within them are what's important!" Tsuchiya said and Nitou nodded in understanding before placing a hand under his chin. "I don't care what my home is like as long as I have my guitars! That's why I was thrown out of my apartment…"
"Eeeehhh?! You're a bigger mess than I am!" Nitou said.
"I need to save up more money, because there are more guitars that I want! Look at this." Tsuchiya said as he picked up and handed Nitou a flier.
Nitou accepted and to his shock, it was a job offer and the payment was one million yen in a day.
"One million yen in a day?!" Nitou shouted in shock. Tsuchiya then told him his plans for that pay.
"30 million in one month! In one year, that'd be 365 million! I will buy all the guitars in the world!" Tsuchiya shouted before he stood up and played his air guitar.
Tsuchiya then imagines him running his own guitar shop as he laughs and looks at his collection of guitars.
(Next day)
After school ended today, Shido along with Tohka, Yoshino, Rinne, Koyomi and Kotori were in Omokagedo. They were seated on the chairs and couches as Koyomi looked for any signs of a Phantom through her crystal ball.
"I can't find a Phantom." Koyomi told them.
"I see. What about you Kotori?" Shido asked.
"Afraid I hadn't gotten much luck either. Given how random the attack, it's hard to identify who the Gate was." Kotori told him.
"Well, we can't do anything without knowing who the target is." Shido said.
"That's true." Rinne said.
They soon hear someone loudly and rushes into the shop through the back door, they then see it was Mikie as she rushes towards them.
"Shido! Everyone!" Mikie said.
"Mikie-chan?! Why'd you come in from the back?!" Shido said.
"Look at this!" Mikie said as she showed Shido a flier.
"Eh?" Shido said before he took the flier to get a closer look at it.
The others looked at it as well and saw it was the same job offer that Tsuchiya had shown Nitou.
"One million in a day. A million?!" Shido said as he and the others were shocked by this.
"Really? That much in one day?" Kotori said.
"Oh wow! Now that's a lot of money!" Yoshinon said as she rubs her hands together.
"Sugoi! I don't know how much that is, but with that kind of money I'll be able to buy all of the kinako bread that I want!" Tohka said.
"I know right?! It's amazing!" Mikie said as she was now tempted by this job offer as Wajima took the flier to look at it too. "Think about it. A plain sugar from Hungry is 200 yen, so…Just imagine how much you can buy!"
"What are you thinking?!" Shido said as he took back the flier to crush it into a ball and throw it to the floor.
"Eh? Hey! What are you doing?!" Mikie said in dismay before she rushed to the now crushed flier to pick up and fix it.
"That job is way too suspicious." Koyomi said.
"I agree. No way someone can offer that much money for free." Kotori said.
"Yeah. The job's probably awful." Shido said.
Mikie pushes as now thinks about it and imagines what would happen if she took this job.
She was stripped down to her underwear while using a hammer and chisel on a large boulder as the boss whips at her.
"You will work like a slave~!" Shido darkly tells her before he darkly breathes out.
Mikie then imagines herself seated on a desk filled with piles of paperwork with her boss yelling at her along with whipping on her back. The boss then grinds her high heel shoe on Mikie's head as it was now on the table.
"You will work…until you collapse~!" Koyomi dark tells her before she laughs sinisterly.
Mikie then imagines herself standing in front of a shady hotel with her boss lustfully looking at her.
"You'll no doubt be forced to do…certain things to please your boss~!" Kotori darkly tells her before she laughs maniacally.
Their dark tone of speech had frightened Tohka and Yoshino, as they didn't feel like accepting that job anymore while Mikie was left speechless and Rinne nervously chuckled to hear them talking like that.
"Do you want that?!" Shido questions her.
Mikie flinches before she rapidly shakes her head and crushes the flier and throws it away, and it lands on Wajima's head before he grabs onto it.
Shido smiles that Mikie was able to see through the scam, but they notice that Wajima was looking at the flier and spoke out his plans with that kind of money.
"Improve the shop. Repay my loans. And use what's left to go to a spy?" Wajima then begins to chuckle as the others look at him with some disappointment.
"Oji-san!" They said which snapped Wajima out of his train of thought.
"Eh? Uh…Oh…" Wajima nervously chuckles at his young friends.
Nitou, now wearing a fresh pair of clothes and his hair now clean and back to his usual style, had arrived at the company where they're taking interviews for potential applicants for the one-million-yen job with Tsuchiya.
The company's name was 'Tom Fance' and it was a large building as both Nitou and Tsuchiya stopped to look up at it.
"Sugoi." They said before they moved towards the entrance.
"That's amazing." Nitou said while Tsuchiya was already ahead of him before he called out.
"Come on."
Then both Nitou and Tsuchiya enter the building. They soon arrived in the room where they're holding the interview for the job as there were several other applicants in the room while others were forced to wait in the hallway in a long line.
The host/boss for the job application has arrived and is standing in front of several mirrors.
His name is Kasahara. He's a man in his mid-30s with short black hair and eyes and was wearing black clothing.
Kasahara then creepy turns to the many applicants and creepy smiles at them.
"Shall we get started…with your interview…" Kasahara said with a ghostly tone and chuckles.
While most people would find him creepy due to his way of talking, the applicants didn't mind just as long as they'll get the job along with the money.
Nitou was seated behind Tsuchiya as he stared at him in suspicion. Tsuchiya then spoke to him.
"I can't believe you're at this interview too…" Tsuchiya said before Nitou spoke out.
"Hey! Say no more! It's not like I'm blinded by money…I just want to see what kind of job pays a million per day." Nitou told him.
"It's cool. Doesn't matter how many rivals I have. I won't let anyone else have this job!" Tsuchiya swore before he stood up and did his air guitar. "Jagajagajagajagajaga jaan! One! Those who are not resolute shalt not work! I, Tsuchiya Masataka, am resolute! Two! Even if my body falls apart, I will do great things for this company!"
That's when a man with large muscles stood up and flexed his biceps.
"Leave the hard work to me!"
That's when a man wearing a yellow suit who is also a comedian stood up.
"Yes, yes! Get you!" He said in English and Tsuchiya turned to him to point his fingers.
"Get you!" Tsuchiya said in English as they repeated.
But that's all Kasahara needed to hear.
"The interview is over…" He told them which surprised the applicants including Nitou.
"Eh?! But I haven't done anything yet!" Nitou calls out.
"What happened?"
"Will I still get the job?"
Instead of answering their questions, Kasahara slowly turns to the door and moves like a ghost but not before he turns to the mirrors on the wall and Nitou notices the way he was looking at them.
Unknown to Nitou along with the other applicants, Medusa and Gremlin were in another that was behind the wall in front of them.
Medusa was seated in front of an antique desk with mirrors which serves a magical link to the windows in the interview room that she uses to look at each of the applicants for potential Gates, under Gremlin's orders of course.
"Why do I have to do this?" Medusa said in annoyance before she pulled down the switch on the table to deactivate the mirrors.
"Well? Don't you think this is a good idea?" Gremlin said.
"Enough." Medusa said as she was about to stand up and leave, but Gremlin stopped her as he stood up and placed his hand on her head to force her to sit back down.
"No! We're just getting started!" Gremlin chuckles as she ruffles up her hair.
This only enrages Medusa even more as she angrily glares at Gremlin.
(Later)
After the interviews had ended, Nitou and Tsuchiya had returned to the latter's home. After waiting for a while, Tsuchiya soon received a call from the company and told him the good news.
"Really?! Hai. Tomorrow?! Thank you very much!" Tsuchiya shouted as he bowed his head before the call ended.
Tsuchiya then turned to Nitou before he sat down on the couch.
"Dude!" Tsuchiya said and Nitou applauded to congratulate his best friend.
"Great!"
"I passed the interview!" Tsuchiya said before he and Nitou cheered and did a double high five.
"What about me? Me, me, me?" Nitou said as he brought out his phone expecting a call while hoping that he passed too.
Nitou had waited for hours as it was now night time. He looked at his phone a few times hoping to receive a call but so far nothing, he then lowered his head in sadness.
"They're not calling…" Nitou mutters.
"Something good will happen to you someday." Tsuchiya told him before he laughed.
(Next day)
It was now 9 in the morning. Tsuchiya had arrived to begin his first day of work along with two other applicants who had passed with him.
One was the muscle man and the other was the comedian with the yellow suit.
They soon arrived in their office which had a desk for each of them.
"Let's get along!" Tsuchiya bowed his head before he and others sat down.
"Let's get along."
"Yosha!" The muscle man swung his arms.
"Yosha!" Tsuchiya said before he spoke to their boss, Kasahara. "So what should we do?"
Kasahara slightly bends over and creepy smiles at them.
"Just behave yourselves…" He told them before he turns and leaves the room using his usual ghostly motion while leaving his employees confused.
"Eh? Uh…Okay." Tsuchiya nodded.
Then an hour had passed and Tsuchiya along with his two co-workers were seated on their desks doing nothing.
Then another hour passed and they were now bored with having nothing to do.
Another hour has passed, Tsuchiya was drawing on some paper while the comedian and the muscle man were doing their own things.
Then they were dozing off on their desks.
Tsuchiya threw a paper airplane in the room while the comedian was practicing his jokes while the muscle man was doing some exercises.
They soon fell asleep in the room.
Tsuchiya along with the comedian was practicing some gags together while the muscle man was walking on his hands.
They were now napping with their heads on their respective desks.
The time was now 5 o'clock which was the end of their shift today.
Kasahara soon returned to give each of them their wages which woke them up.
"Good work…Here is today's wages."
After receiving his payment, Tsuchiya instantly opened up the envelope and brought out the money. It was a large stock of money, and Tsuchiya instantly counted and saw it was indeed one million yen.
Tsuchiya then instantly used his easily earned cash to buy a new guitar to add to his collection and return to his home to show it off to Nitou.
"What do you think?!" Tsuchiya asked before he looked at the new addition to his collection.
"You already bought one?!" Nitou said.
"This will be your home from here on. I'll find the best place to hang you." Tsuchiya said before he turned to the wall to find the perfect spot for his new guitar. "Let's celebrate with sushi."
Moments later, Tsuchiya had called in a sushi chef as he was now standing in the shed making sushi with a small table for both Tsuchiya and Nitou.
"You called in a sushi chef…" Nitou said before he ate a piece of his sushi. "Aren't you using too much money?"
"Don't worry. Next time we're doing special training in Yokohama." Tsuchiya said as he ate some of his own sushi and Nitou drank some tea. "Apparently we get ten times the pay."
"Ten times?" Nitou said before he did the math and the sound of money could be heard. "Ten million?!"
"And in just one day! I'll never have to worry about money again. This is the best." Tsuchiya cheered before he ate some sushi again.
"Isn't this a bit unrealistic?" Nitou questions as Tsuchiya drank some of his own tea.
"Why are you trying to act like such a miser?" Tsuchiya said as he was about to eat another piece of sushi.
"That's not it." Nitou said and Tsuchiya then turned to him, understanding his friend's doubt about this training thing.
"Oh, I bet you're jealous since I have money now. How ugly, a man being jealous of a fellow man." Tsuchiya said before he laughs and Nitou only looks at him in disappointment.
"You sure have changed." Nitou said.
(Next day)
In the Itsuki house, Shido was having lunch with his friends and had invited Wajima, Koyomi, Rinne, Mikie, and Nitou for lunch. As they were eating, Nitou had told Shido and the others how his friend Tsuchiya got that one million yen job.
"Eh? Your friend from high school got that job?" Shido said before he hands Koyomi his empty bowl of rice. "More please."
Koyomi took the bowl and filled it up with the rice from the pot.
"He used to be so passionate." Nitou said before he also hands Koyomi his own empty bowl of rice. "Seconds!"
Koyomi accepted the bowl before Nitou explained.
"He was awesome." Nitou said before he remembers how he was slumping as he wasn't sure about pursuing archaeology. "In high school, I wasn't sure about pursuing archaeology."
That's when Tsuchiya appeared playing his guitar, gaining Nitou's attention as he turned to him.
"One! One should decide one's own path~!" Tsuchiya sings as he approaches him.
"Tsucchi!"
"You'll regret it the rest of your life. Are you okay with that?"
Nitou finished his second bowl of rice with a smile on his face before he handed it to Koyomi for more.
"More!" Koyomi took the bowl to fill it up once again. "He pushed me forward. He's my dear friend. But…"
"Seconds!" Tohka requests as she hands Koyomi her empty bowl of rice.
"Seconds!" Mikie said as she did the same.
"But…" Shido said.
"Now, he doesn't have any of his previous charm. He's letting the money blind him!" Nitou said as he ate his bowl of rice and once again handed it to Koyomi.
"I think so. Seconds." Shido said before he hands Koyomi his empty bowl once again. "Just help him find his charm again."
"I still can't believe a friend of yours got that job, while I didn't! Seconds!" Kaguya said as she handed Koyomi her bowl.
"You interview for that job, Kaguya?" Tohka asked as she ate her food.
"Yeah! But I didn't receive a call from them. And I was planning on using that one million to build my empire." Kaguya said as she ate her food.
"Rebuttal. She was planning on using that money to buy that new game console that she wanted. Seconds." Yuzuru said before she hands Koyomi her bowl and Kaguya blushes and turns to her sister.
"Yuzuru! You didn't have to tell them that!" Kaguya said.
"Seconds." Kotori said before she hands Koyomi her bowl as well. "Do it before he gets himself in trouble. Besides, one million, two million, or ten million in a day is unreal."
"Seconds." Mikie said as she hands Koyomi her empty bowl and turns to Kotori. "Are you sure?"
"Mikie, be quiet!" Koyomi told her as she scoops the rice into her bowl.
"Hai." Mikie said.
"I bet something shady is going on at that company. Call it women's intuition." Kotori said.
"I agree." Miku said.
They then offer all of their empty bowls to Koyomi saying only one thing.
"Seconds!"
Koyomi was only annoyed by this before she picked up the rice pot and showed it was now empty.
(Later)
In the Tom Fance company, Kasahara was in the interview as he was standing in front of a new group of applicants who wanted the one million yen job.
One of them was a high school boy with large hair and wore glasses and a red backpack as he stood up and spoke to him.
"Umm…I love Tengu Tower."
That's when another applicant, a man wearing a pink vest who was also a mama's boy stood up and showed a picture of his mother.
"Look. This is my mama."
That's when a ventriloquist with a panda hand puppet stood up and showed off his skills.
"Right, Mii-chan? I'll do my best!"
Kasahara silently stares at them.
The high school student, mama's boy, and the ventriloquist were hired for the job. They were now in the office along with Tsuchiya and the other first employees.
As they were in the office, they were doing their own thing as they pretty much have something.
"I'm Eraser-chan. Well, Eraser-chan. What words will you erase for me today?" Tsuchiya spoke to his eraser.
Unknown to Tsuchiya and to his coworkers, an invisible spy cam was watching from outside of the building and through the window of their office.
In the Fraxinus, Kotori's crew was using that spy cam to watch them along with Shido, Nitou, and their friends.
"Okay, something's not right here. They're only sitting around and doing nothing. Just what kind of job is this?" Kotori questions with her usual lollipop in her mouth.
"Darling, do we really have to watch a bunch of men working? I rather we do something else." Miku said as she grabbed onto his arm.
Instead of indulging Miku, Shido could stare at the employees, he couldn't help but feel that something was up as well.
"Hey, Kotori, did you look up who hired these guys?" Shido asked, and Kotori nodded.
"Yeah. Of course, I did." Kotori said. She uses her small keyboard to bring out info about Kasahara. "His name is Kasahara. A private real estate businessman. He's 35 years old, currently single, and has no living relatives. He lives in a mansion in the outskirts of town while running his business online. I wonder why he would hire these guys and give them so much money for nothing."
Shido then recognizes one of the employees and it was the high school boy who was at Tengu Tower when the Ghouls attack.
"That guy…Oh no…The Phantoms might be involved." Shido told them which surprised his friends.
"Seriously?! So Tsucchi's a Gate?" Nitou said.
"That's highly possible. We need to check this out in person." Shido said before he and Nitou headed to the Fraxinus transporter.
Both Riders had teleported to the company where Tsuchiya along with the other possible Gates were in, they were standing in front of the gate entrance and saw it was guarded by security.
"Oh crap." Nitou said.
"Yeah." Shido said.
"Alright." Nitou said.
Nitou then inserted his Chameleo Ring into his Driver, and Shido scans his Small Ring on top of his belt.
[CHAMELEO]

Inside the building, the guards were checking the visitors with their metal detectors but stopped as they heard voices in the room but couldn't be seen.
"Hey, you're being slow." Said Nitou.
"It can't be helped!" Said Shido with a high-pitched voice.
"You're talking too loudly!" Nitou told him.
"No, you're being loud!" Shido shouted.
An invisible Nitou then moved behind the guards as he looked down at a shrunken Shido as he was in the size of a mouse.
"So noisy! Shut up before you talk!" Nitou told him.
"Huh? How can I talk if I'm shut up?!" Shido said before Nitou moves ahead of him and Shido could only barely follow due to his small size. "Wait, Nitou! Hey! I have a small gait! Wait up!"
"You're being too slow!" Nitou moves to the elevators.
Shido stopped as there was a pile of metal pipes in his way.
"Seriously?!" Shido said before he climbed over the pipes and rolled to the floor.
Nitou soon pressed the elevator button, the door opened, and Nitou walked inside.
"Alright!" Nitou said before he turns visible and carefully moves his feet while watching them. "Watch my feet."
Shido soon enters the elevator as well as he returns to his original size.
Then when the elevator door closes and moves up, Tsuchiya along with his co-workers and Kasahara appear in a different elevator as the door opens.
"Let's…go…" Kasahara told them.
After finding that the office that Tsuchiya and the other Gates were working in was now empty, both Shido and Nitou checked the other rooms to find them.
Nitou opens a door and sees it is empty. Shido checked a different room, and it was empty as well.
Nitou then checks another room and while it was empty as well, he found something that looked suspicious.
When Shido enters the hallway, Nitou soon calls out to him from the room he found.
"Shido!"
Shido then enters the room and he and Nitou look around inside. It was the very room that Gremlin and Medusa used to spy on the applicants.
"Way too suspicious." Nitou said.
"What is this room?" Shido said.
That's when Nitou saw the switch on the dresser table.
"That's suspicious." He said which got Shido's attention.
Curious about that switch, Nitou slowly pushed it forward which activated it as he quickly pulled back his hand.
The magic mirrors then activated showing the interview room, and Nitou was surprised by this.
"Isn't this where I had my interview?" Nitou says as he and Shido look at the mirrors, and Nitou remembers who Kasahara looks at the mirrors during his interview with Tsuchiya. "I see! It's a magic mirror!"
"You just figured that out…?" Shido said before he spotted someone in the mirror. "What was that?"
Appearing in the mirrors was Medusa as she was in the interview room.
"Medusa!" Shido said and Nitou closely looked at her as well.
Medusa turns and smiles at the Riders knowing that they found the magic mirrors. Shido then leaves the room to confront the female Phantom while Nitou lovingly smiles at her.
"Hey, Kousuke!" Shido calls out.
"Hai!" Nitou said before he followed Shido.
Both Shido and Nitou moved to the door that leads to the interview room, Nitou had his back on the wall and brought out his Mirage Magnum. The Riders nodded at each other before they rushed into the room and Nitou fired at Medusa, but she deflected his shots with her hands.
Nitou stopped firing and spun his Magnum around.
"So you were hiding in the next room, searching for Gates?" Nitou questions.
Medusa chuckles before she answers.
"That's right."
(Flashback)
As Medusa and Gremlin were spying at the applicants from the next room, the green Phantom told her the details of his plans.
"It's a lot of work to find Gates, right? That's why I had this idea: Have the humans come to us." Gremlin then chuckles before he stops and asks Medusa this question. "What do you think? Do you see any Gates?"
"Who knows?" Medusa said before she turned away from him.
Gremlin frowns and gives Medusa another reminder.
"My will is Wiseman's will."
While reluctant, Medusa pointed at one of the Gates and it was Tsuchiya.
(End of flashback)
"So Tsucchi is a Gate!" Nitou siad.
"He's no longer here. Looks like you just missed him." Medusa said, and Nitou then remembered a certain detail that Tsuchiya had told him last night.
"That's right, he said…"
"This time we have special training in Yokohama."
Medusa smiles at them before she tells the Riders this.
"Maybe you should hurry after them."
But Shido couldn't help but wonder why Medusa was telling them all of this.
"Why are you telling us all this?" Shido asked.
"I'm feeling a bit capricious." Medusa told them because for once she was hoping that the Riders foil Gremlin's plan and if they destroy him, it would be a bonus for her.
(Meanwhile)
Tsuchiya along with the other Gates had arrived at the location where they were told to receive special training, and it was Kasahara's mansion.
They were in the main room as they looked and admired how large the room was.
"What is this place?" Tsuchiya said.
Gremlin was standing on top of the mansion's balcony with Kasahara standing beside him.
"Do your best, Kasahara-san." Gremlin told him.
"Okay…" Kasahara said as he moved back in a ghostly motion, but he was actually levitating above the floor using a green mist below his feet.
After receiving the location of Kasahara's mansion from Kotori, Shido and Nitou race to the mansion riding on the Machine Winger with Nitou seated on the back.
"Hey, can't you go faster?!" Nitou asked loudly, and Shido understood why no one likes a backseat driver.
"How noisy! Shut up before you talk!" Shido told him.
Tsuchiya and the others were still waiting for the special training they will receive. That's when Kasahara ghostly appeared behind them which surprised them as they turned to their boss.
"Shall we get started…with the special training…" Kasahara then suddenly appeared to their right. "Well…everyone…Give in to despair…Heeheehee…"
Kasahara darkly chuckles before he suddenly vanishes in front of them, and the Gates scream in fear as they move close to each other. Kasahara then suddenly appears above the stairs as he moves down at them which makes the Gates scream once again and falls to the ground.
Kasahara then transforms in front of them.
His body was mostly colored green with black arms and legs. He also had vines around his neck and waist, he also had leaves on his shoulder along with a leaf on his forehead and above his right eye while the left side of his face was covered with plants with a silver mouthpiece.
This is his true form, the Phantom known as Bogy.
The Gates screamed in fear as they quickly stood up and tried to open the doors, but it was locked. Bogy then approaches them.
"Give in to despair already! From fear of death!" The Gates scream in fear as Bogy comes closer to them.
Then smashing through the window above the stairs was Shido and Nitou, Bogy and the Gates turned to them as they landed on the floor and Tsuchiya was surprised to see Nitou here.
"Kousuke!"
"Run for it!" Nitou said before he uses his Magnum to fire at the other door to break it down so they could escape. "I swear to protect you! I'll never forgive you for doing this to my best friend. Tsucchi, run for it!"
"Sure." Tsuchiya said before he and the other Gates escape through the now broken door but before Tsuchiya sees Nitou showing off his Beast Ring and swinging his arms.
"Hennnnnnn~shin!" Nitou said as he struck his pose and inserted his Ring into his Driver.
[SET, O~PEN! L-I-O-N: LION]
Nitou transforms into Beast which surprises Tsuchiya again before the golden Rider shouted to him.
"Run for it!" Tsuchiya nodded before he ran out of the mansion.
Bogy angrily growls at Beast and Beast is ready to fight him before Shido steps forward.
"Oh, I'm here too." Shido said before he flipped the switches on his Driver and pointed his finger at Bogy. "Let's get along."
[SHABADOOBI TOUCH HENSHIN]
"Henshin." Shido said before he scans his Flame Ring on his Driver.
[FLAME, PLEASE: HI HI HI HI HI]
After Shido transforms into Wizard, he charges at Bogy and throws a kick at him but the Phantom dodges by moving his head back before he ghostly moves to Beast.
Beast spun his Magnum and fired at the Phantom, but Bogy simply dodged his gunfire by moving to his left and to his right before he attacked Beast by spinning around and punching him.
Bogy turns to Wizard to avoid a spin kick from him and counters by punching on his chest. The Phantom then spun around to parry an incoming attack from Beast.
"Hey!"
Bogy then grabs Wizard and Beast by their necks and begins to push them back, but the magic theme Riders stood their ground and pushed the Phantom back, but Bogy suddenly disappears which makes Wizard and Beast stumble forward.
Wizard and Beast back-to-back as they look for Bogy.
"Where did he go?!" Beast said.
That's when Bogy appeared when they weren't looking, he then grabs onto both Riders to lift them off of their lift and heads towards the wall as they struggle to break free.
Bogy then smashes Wizard and Beast through the wall, they are now outside and rolled towards the Gates as they scream in fear.
As Wizard and Beast stood up, Bogy chuckled as he brought out his spear and charges at them, both Riders then pulled out their own swords and charges at the Phantom.
Both Riders attack the Phantom together, but Bogy avoids their attacks and parries a slash from Wizard and then parries Beast's sword and slashes on his chest, Bogy then turns to Wizard to deflect his sword once and slash on his chest.
Beast then kicks at Bogy but the Phantom parries it with his spear, before deflecting more slashes from both Wizard and Beast before Bogy lands a slash on Beast's chest.
As the Gates screamed in fear, they took turns pushing each other forward before they pulled back and pushed the other.
Bogy turns to his targets before he gestures to them to come here.
"Come…"
That's when a group of Ghouls has begun attacking the Gates as they scream and move away from them.
Beast notices this as he avoids an incoming attack from Bogy before Wizard locks weapons against the Phantom's spear.
"Shido, take care of him." Beast tells him as he moves in to protect Tsuchiya and the others.
"Sure!" Wizard said as he began to fight Bogy himself.
Beast soon kicks one Ghoul away from Tsuchiya before he pushes him away, he then slashes on two Ghouls before he kicks another one while pushing two of the Gates to safety.
With the Gates now behind him, Beast then turns to the Ghouls who were now standing in front of him before he puts on his Hyper Ring.
"I won't let you lay a finger on Tsucchi and the others." Beast swore as he inserted his Ring into his Driver.
[HYPER! GO: HY-HY-HY-HYPER]
When the energy version of Chimera has appeared, Tsuchiya and the others scream in fear to see that before he merges with Beast, the Gates fall to the ground as Beast transforms into his Hyper Form.
"Let's go!" Beast said as he charged at the Ghouls.
Beast avoids one Ghoul's attack before he kicks one in the face. Tsuchiya was amazed by what his friend was able to do.
"Kousuke, just what are you?!" Tsuchiya asked.
Just as Beast kicks another Ghoul, two Ghouls grab onto his arms before he pushes them back as another Ghoul charges in front of him and Beast kicks him to the ground. Beast then catches one Ghoul's attack before he spun it around and kicked it away from him.
Wizard and Bogy were battling on top of a slope as they clash blades before the Phantom forces Wizard to move back.
"In the end, can you really defeat me, the Phantom Bogy?!"
Wizard blocks a downward slash from Bogy before the Phantom pushes his sword back and slash on his chest two times, sending Wizard rolling down from the slope.
As Wizard stood back up, Bogy charges at him by flying in to attack, Wizard avoids it but Bogy keeps up his assault by moving around and attacks Wizard from all sides, Wizard was able to narrowly avoid his attacks before the Phantom lands a slash on his chest.
Beast notices this as he turns to Wizard.
"Shido!" Beast said.
Beast soon brings out his Mirage Magnum before he spins around and fires at the Ghouls around him, destroying them as they explode, and Beast devours their mana.
Tsuchiya and the Gates cheered for Beast's victory.
"Kousuke!"
After the Ghouls are defeated, Beast rushes to Wizard's aid and fires at Bogy's back as he pins Wizard against a tree before Beast's shots force him to move away from Wizard.
Wizard then uses this chance to kick Bogy away and slashes at him, but Bogy avoids his slash before he turns to Beast to slash at him, Beast dodges it and fires at the Phantom, but he dodges and slashes at him once again and Beast avoids it by moving back.
Wizard slashes at Bogy two times but the Phantom deflected his attacks, before he deflected two shots from Beast.
Then both Wizard and Beast attack Bogy simultaneously with Wizard thrusting his sword and Beast firing at him, but Bogy avoids their coordinated attack by vanishing.
Bogy then appears behind them as both Riders turn at him, the Phantom lands a slash on both of them forcing both Riders to fall before Bogy disappears once again. Just as Wizard and Beast stood up on their knees and feet, Bogy appeared in front of them, and Beast fired at him only to miss as Bogy vanished once again.
Bogy once again appeared behind them as he trips Beast's legs forcing him to fall on his back and slashes on Wizard's chest sending him to the ground as well.
Both Wizard and Beast groan before Bogy moves to them to attack once again as he laughs.
Both Wizard and Beast stood back, Bogy slashes at Wizard, he blocks it with his sword but is pushed back, the Phantom then deflects an incoming attack from Beast and slashes on his chest.
Bogy then parries an attack from Wizard's sword and deflects another attack from Beast and slashes him again, sending Beast rolling on the ground before he stops on his chest.
Beast attempted to stand back up but ended up falling once again.
"Kousuke!" Tsuchiya said in worry for his friend.
Wizard blocks another attack from Bogy, but the Phantom is still able to push him back.
Wizard soon stops before he spun and put his sword away to bring out and put on his Infinity Ring.
"Don't underestimate me!" Wizard said before he resets his Driver to scan the Ring on it.
[INFINITY, PLEASE: HI-SUI-FU-DO, BOU-ZABA-BYU-DOGON]

The crystal dragon appeared before it flew up and spun around and dived down above Wizard, a silver magic circle appeared below his feet before the crystal dragon appeared once again and flew around Wizard as the circle passed through his body to encase Wizard in crystal before it shatters showing Wizard in his Infinity Style.
Bogy could only tilt his head to see Wizard's strongest form.
"What is this?!" Bogy said before he charges at Wizard and slashes on his shoulder, but Wizard's armor easily withstood it.
Bogy then slashes on Wizard's other shoulder, but the result is the same. Growing frustrated by this, Bogy once again slashes at Wizard and he blocks it using his arm before Wizard pushes the Phantom's spear down and slams his elbow on his chest forcing Bogy to stumble back before he kicks him away.
"Not bad…"
"Come, Dragon!" Wizard calls out.
Then WizarDragon soon appears and circles around to transform into the Axcalibur before Wizard grabs onto it.
Wizard then charges at Bogy, the Phantom slashes at him but Wizard deflected it and lands a slash in front of Bogy. Bogy attempts to attack Wizard once again, but he lands another slash on the Phantom's body which forces Bogy to stumble back once again. Bogy soon stops and glares at Wizard.
Wizard once again charges at Bogy and slashes at him, but Bogy uses his vanishing power to avoid it and attacks Wizard from behind, but Wizard easily sees it coming as he blocks the Phantom's attack.
Wizard then scans his Ring on his Driver.
[INFINITY, PLEASE]
Using his enhanced speed, Wizard moves to Bogy's back and slashes on him two times. Wizard then switches to the Axcalibur's Ax Mode.
[TURN ON]
"The finale!" Wizard declared before he high fives the Axcalibur's Hand Author.
[HIGH TOUCH, SHINING STRIKE: KIRAKIRA KIRAKIRA, KIRAKIRA KIRAKIRA]
"What a cheeky thing to do…" Bogy said as Wizard spun his ax to enlarge it to its giant size.
Wizard then jumped high into the air and swung his massive axe down at Bogy. Blue flames appeared from the cut on Bogy's body before he exploded, and Wizard turned around.
(End of song)
"Whew."
Then six ghostly green figures appeared from the explosion of Bogy's body.
"He did it!" The Gates cheered for Wizard's victory against the Phantom before the ghostly figures went into their bodies respectively.
Wizard turns to the Gates as they are all safe now, before he heard a familiar whine and saw it was from Gremlin as he leaves while smiling.
"That's fine. This is where the real show begins." Gremlin chuckles before he leaves.
"Real show?" Wizard said as he wondered what he meant by that.
After hearing the details from Shido and his friends, the Gates decided to leave Tengu and head back to their respective homes.
Shido and Nitou were at Tsuchiya's place as Nitou helped his best friend pack up his things along with his precious guitar collection. Shido was in look out for any Phantoms or Ghouls.
But Shido was still wondering about Gremlin's words after he had defeated Bogy. He then heard laughter and turned to Nitou and Tsuchiya as they held most of the latter's stuff.
"Oh, I don't know what to say! I was the worst." Tsuchiya said, now learning the errors of his mistakes. "Even if it was for guitars, I caused you a lot of trouble by letting money blind me."
"All in the past. Don't worry about it, Tsucchi." Nitou assured him.
"No! Thank you for opening my eyes. Of course, you can't get money for doing nothing." Tsuchiya said.
"That's right!" Nitou said.
They soon load the last of Tsuchiya's things into the back of his moving truck. Nitou then did an air guitar and did Tsuchiya's usual thing.
"Jaga jaan! One! Money is valuable because it is earned!" Nitou chuckles and Shido chuckles along with him.
"Kousuke, that's right!" Tsuchiya said in agreement before he took off his necklace and put it on Nitou's check much to his confusion. "This is a sign of our friendship."
"Tsucchi!" Nitou said before he lightly smacks on his shoulder.
"What is it?" Tsuchiya said as he playfully does the same to Nitou.
Tsuchiya then enters his truck and drives away with Nitou waving him goodbye.
"Don't come to Tengu again!" Nitou said and Tsuchiya responded by honking the truck's horn.
"What a charming friend." Shido said.
"Ain't that right? That's how he is." Nitou said.

({Instrumental} You need a time machine?) (Then changes to Shido riding on his motorcycle once again before he speeds up and the screen changes to his back as he drives to parts unknown.)
