Chapter 1256
Two Of Both Of You
Sheila let the group move ahead of her. She entered the stairwell and hiked up the bottom of her dress so she could move faster and not damage the dress. Moving fast in high heels wasn't a problem for her. They were strong and well made. Cameron procured the best of everything for them.
She looked back up the stairs. No one appeared to follow her. She tried to keep Ally from seeing her leave. She knew she would follow her. It looked like she'd gotten away clean. She smiled and kept going.
She needed to go down several decks to the Medical Center. There was a package she needed to pick up. Do to recent developments, there were some other supplies she needed to obtain. She would also need to stop by her little room and pick something up as well.
There was a small group of females on their way up from the floor below. Sheila hiked up her dress a little further so the females could get a good look at her. She smiled at them as she passed. Their eyes all followed her or at least followed part of her anyway.
She kept her dress bunched at the same height the rest of the way down. There was no one else she passed in the stairwell. She was a little disappointed. She liked people to see her. They seldom ever looked at her face. She let go of her dress and smoothed everything out. She looked perfect again.
It was 'after hours' in the Medical Center. There was no one around. They were 'on call' in case there was an emergency. She used her special card key and opened the door. She went inside and found the package she'd ordered in the top right hand drawer of the desk. It was marked for delivery to the 'Captain'. There were to be no questions asked.
She looked inside the package and smiled. John wasn't going 'soft' on her, well, on Cameron again.
She moved into the back and picked up some other supplies. She took a small selection of 'painkillers' and some fast numbing ointments. She also picked up some disinfectant and a few surgical implements. She looked around and found a small bag to put everything in.
She left everything neat and orderly. She would visit the computer in the Control Center and make the appropriate inventory corrections for the items she'd obtained. It would be as if they were never there to begin with.
Sheila left the Medical Center and headed for the elevator. The door opened as she approached. She knew either Jim or CamNet must have tracked her. She looked at the little camera and blew it a kiss. She figured it would please either of them. The camera was mounted high in the elevator or she would have hiked up her dress again for the camera.
She exited on the suite deck and headed to her room to get one more thing, two things actually. They were a set. She worked on some plans on what she wanted to do. She was sure she'd collected everything she needed.
Ally went back to the elevator and down to the casino deck. She passed through the casino and didn't spot Sheila there. She was going to ask Jim where Sheila was at. She didn't want to start a panic. She thought she might have a good idea where Sheila went.
She headed to the cabin the two girls said was their room. She knocked. No one answered. She thought about using her special card key to open the door but decided not to do it when she saw the room steward come out of the cabin two doors down.
She moved on down the hall and back to the elevator. She would go back and check Sheila's room. If she was not there, she would check from the Control Center herself. She was sure Sheila was up to something. She wasn't sure what it was. She was pretty sure it involved the two girls as well.
She didn't like whatever Sheila was up to. She thought it should include her if nothing else. She could understand Sheila's infatuation with the two girls. It seemed to be a growing fascination with her as well. There was some appeal to a shipboard romance. It would be like two ships passing in the night. They could share an experience or two and simply go on their ways as if nothing happened. There wouldn't be any personal attachments. There shouldn't be any headaches either.
Cameron led the group to the rear lounge with its small theater.
The Rockabilly Trio was already playing. They filtered in and took some seats to watch.
Cameron quietly asked Hanna and Gail to dance with Claire. She wanted to speak with Jesse alone.
She called Jesse off to the side. They went outside onto the open Promenade Deck. It was cool but not cold. The water rushed by below them.
"Are you warm enough?" Cameron asked.
Jesse wondered what the conversation was really about. She didn't think Cameron brought her out there to do some sightseeing in the darkness.
"Yes." Jesse said.
Cameron wanted to get straight to the point.
"You know what happened with Sheila's chassis, John and me." Cameron said.
Jesse drew in her breath a little. She loved Cameron dearly and all the happiness in her life now was thanks to Cameron. One thing bothered her immensely. She felt she needed to say something about it.
"I do. I don't agree with what you did to Sheila." Jesse said. "You took something special from her. It's just like what happened to me in a way."
Cameron didn't like the direction the conversation turned. She didn't want to create any animosity on Jesse's part towards her or her plans for Jesse. She'd given Sheila several options. She didn't think what she did was wrong in any way.
"Sheila was given a choice." Cameron said. "She chose to allow me to use her chassis. It's already happened on two separate occasions. She wants to do it again."
Jesse was aware of the circumstances. She wasn't really sure it was a fair choice. Cameron brought Sheila right to the edge. She didn't leave Sheila any direction to go when a problem was encountered other than the direction Cameron wanted things to go. She felt if anything, it was a weighted decision. Sheila also wanted something else too.
"Sheila wants what you promised her." Jesse said. "She wants her real 'first time'. You owe it to her after what's happened."
Cameron did make Sheila a promise. See wanted some other things to happen first. She wanted Young Jesse and Jesse to be with John before Sheila was with him as herself.
"She'll have it." Cameron said. "I promised it to her."
Cameron could tell Jesse wasn't very happy with her right now. She was going to ask for something from Jesse. Maybe now wasn't the right time. It seemed the 'issues' dealing with the females was a touchy subject.
Jesse could see her statements bothered Cameron. She didn't want to cause Cameron any problems. Sheila did tell her she was thrilled by everything, even if Cameron was the one who actually did it.
"Sheila told me she enjoyed the files you shared with her." Jesse said.
Cameron looked around the deck. There was no one around them. It was time to lay it out. She wanted Jesse to understand.
"There's something I want to happen first. I want John to be with Young Jesse or you before he's with Sheila on her own." Cameron said.
Jesse was caught off guard. Cameron hadn't 'leaned' on her in a while. She'd always done what Cameron asked her to do before. She'd tried multiple times to get John to be with her. She wondered what was different now.
"Why?" Jesse asked. "Is there something new I should know?"
Cameron could think of a few reasons. She decided to stick with the one to keep John alive.
"He needs to be with a human female so he'll want to be with Savannah and Young Allison." Cameron said. "It's possible we've run into the anti-Metal group again. I believe they're here to assassinate him."
Jesse became alarmed.
"Do you mean here, now, on the ship?" Jesse asked.
Cameron became worried herself at the thought. It wasn't the case.
"I mean around our area of operations." Cameron said. "I need John protected."
Cameron currently didn't know about another possible anti-Metal connection. CamNet kept it from everyone. Two of her Terminators currently dealt with the situation. With everything else occurring around the old newspaper plant. The team didn't need any additional worries.
Jesse remembered her promises to Cameron.
"I promised you I'd be there when I was needed." Jesse said. "I'll honor my promise to you and John. I expect you to honor yours to Sheila. Promises mean something to all of us."
It was what Cameron wanted to hear, the part about Jesse anyway. She still wanted to wait for Sheila to have her first experience with John.
"Thank you." Cameron said. "After you're with him, Sheila will be allowed to be as well."
Jesse knew it wouldn't only be for her if she was with John, it would also be for Sheila to get what she was promised.
"I want your personal promise." Jesse said. "I want you to swear it."
Cameron knew a person was only as good as their word.
"I promise Sheila will be allowed her 'one time' with John." Cameron said. "I swear it."
Jesse wondered about Claire. She was pretty sure Cameron moved beyond the girls from the future to someone a little tamer.
"Why do you want me instead of Claire?" Jesse asked.
Cameron wasn't really sure.
"I'll ask her as well." Cameron said. "I want you to be first."
Cameron felt John would be very satisfied with Jesse, especially if she finished one or more times. There was some doubt Claire would be able to finish, no matter whom the male involved was. She'd read in Cosmo it was a much higher percentage of females, than any of them liked to admit, who failed to finish during intercourse.
Jesse didn't think it was going to happen. It hadn't happened in all of the years previously.
"How's this supposed to work?" Jesse asked. "He's rejected me every other time, even when I've been naked in his bed like you suggested I do."
It was actually a little traumatic to Jesse to be 'rejected' by John. No one ever turned her down before. He'd turned her down multiple times. She'd been naked and in his bed for many of them. Who could possibly turn anyone down in the same situation?
Cameron thought of a way around John's refusals. She planned to do a 'switch'.
"I'll be with him in Sheila's chassis again. I'll take him to a high excitement level and then switch places with you." Cameron said. "He'll want to finish then. He won't reject you."
Jesse needed to think about what Cameron just said. It wasn't exactly her first idea when it came to a romantic encounter. It was more like a leftover booty call. She'd been a receptacle countless times. One more time wouldn't matter. She wanted a little more for herself afterwards.
"OK, I'll do it." Jesse said. "It sounds like the first one will be a quickie under those circumstances. If he's almost there, and he gets some 'fresh meat', he won't last thirty seconds."
Jesse actually performed under similar circumstances multiple times. It never involved a cyborg, but other human females. She was pretty sure anything sexual, anyone could imagine, she'd been a part of at some point in her life.
Cameron was sure John wouldn't last long with any 'fresh meat'. She understood the excitement level of being with someone new. She felt it every time she looked at Savannah.
"It's more than likely." Cameron said. "With a 'new' partner, it's usually over quickly for the male. He didn't last more than two minutes when he was with me in Sheila's chassis the 'first time'."
Cameron didn't think it was actually any different than the 'first time' he'd been with her in her chassis. Since she had files of all of her 'first times', it was always the same with her first two experiences in each of the different chassis she'd been with John.
Her other 'first time' experiences with John were all much longer. For him it wasn't his 'first time' with her, even if it was for her after the reset. All the other 'first time' experiences were much more rewarding to her sexually because John was able to deliver a better performance.
It was all sort of mind boggling to Jesse. She went over Cameron's plan in her head. She wanted to review it with Cameron.
"So let me get all this straight." Jesse said. "You're going to be in Sheila's chassis with the tether. Your chassis is there also. I'm going to be there too, but evidently out of sight. I'll hear everything you're doing. You'll get him wound up and 'stop'. At that point, I'll switch places with you in control of Sheila's chassis, in front of him, and allow him to continue what he was doing with Sheila, I mean you. You'll still be there in Sheila's chassis and watch what I do with your husband, right in front of you."
Cameron nodded. She was glad Jesse understood the plan.
"That's correct." Cameron said. "I can go into standby if you don't want me to watch."
Jesse wondered if Sheila would be active.
"Will Sheila reactivate then?" Jesse asked.
Cameron thought maybe Sheila and her could both watch John and Jesse.
"If you want her to be active, she can. I'll allow her to reactivate and watch. She won't participate yet until John wants to be with you more. He must want a human female first. I need to protect John. I need your help."
Jesse was sure Cameron wasn't thinking clearly. It still sounded rather bizarre. It seemed to get more so with each new revelation.
"So I'll be with John in front of both you and Sheila." Jesse said. "I'll have an audience."
If Cameron was the one in control, and picked John's partners for him, she didn't have a problem with him being with the human females. He would be protected from the anti-Metal faction. John's safety needed to come first. She wanted to make sure Jesse was on board.
"Yes." Cameron said. "As long as you don't mind."
Jesse didn't require much thought for any of it. She was more excited by the fact she would have an audience with both Cameron and Sheila, as she was with John.
"I'm in." Jesse said.
Jesse hoped Cameron wouldn't snap her neck. It was OK too. If she was going to die, she'd like it to be at the hands of Cameron. She hoped she was able to be with John first. As long as she got one finish out of it, she was good to go. The Promised Land awaited her.
Cameron and Jesse went back inside. They headed towards the rear theater. It was really a big lounge where the Rockabilly Trio played.
Two young above average looking females approached them. Cameron spotted them on an intercept course and moved Jesse behind her.
Cameron's actions weren't lost on Jesse. Cameron just moved to protect her.
The girls walked up to them.
"There you two are." The first female said.
Both of the females looked at them from head to toe.
"We've been looking for you." The second female said.
Cameron and Jesse looked at each other.
"You have?" Cameron asked.
Jesse noticed both of the females stared at her breasts. Her dress was very low cut and it showed most of her larger breasts.
"You look 'bigger' now." The first female said.
Jesse looked down at her breasts. They looked about the same as they did when she put the dress on.
"I'm the same size I was earlier." Jesse said.
Cameron received a transmission from Jim. He quickly explained everything. He'd been monitoring the events. It was time to diffuse the situation. She was a little surprised, but not really.
"You must have seen our twin sisters." Cameron said.
Jesse looked quickly at Cameron. She knew it must be Sheila and Ally they'd interacted with earlier.
"There are two of both of you?" The second female asked.
Cameron didn't want to cause any problems for Ally and Sheila.
"Yes." Cameron said. "How can we help you?"
The two females still looked at Jesse's larger breasts.
"Your sister was going to help us with 'something'." The first female said.
Jesse figured why they were staring at her breasts.
"I'm a little bigger than my sister." Jesse said. "Her jewelry makes up for the size difference."
Both of the females still looked at Jesse's breasts.
"I'll say." The second female said.
Jesse wasn't sure if it was an insult or a complement. The girls didn't look like the insulting type.
"We'd appreciate it if you'd tell your sisters we're looking for them." The first female said.
Jesse liked what she saw. The girls were in their late teens or early twenties. They looked 'hungry'. It seemed like a sure score to her if she'd push it a little.
"Maybe I can help you." Jesse said.
The two girls both wondered the same thing. One of them asked it.
"I'm curious, if you don't mind me asking. Are you two 'partners' as well?" The second female asked. "You know, twins with twins. It would be interesting."
The two girls thought how hot it would be to switch partners and be with the 'same' person, but they were actually a different person.
Cameron looked over and saw Claire coming like a rocket towards Jesse. Hanna hurried after her. She didn't want any problems.
"No, we're not." Cameron said. "That's her partner there."
Jesse looked and saw Claire. She seemed upset and was headed straight for her.
Cameron wanted to keep the situation under control and civil. She didn't want Claire to go off on Jesse.
"These two fine beautiful young ladies thought we were our twin sisters." Cameron said. "It happens a lot."
Jesse reached over and took Claire's hand and drew her in close to her. She gave her a deep kiss.
"This is my partner." Jesse said.
Claire smiled at Jesse and then at the two girls.
The two girls now started to check Claire and Hanna out.
"Do either of you have a twin?" The first female asked.
'I do.' Hanna thought.
She was sure Vanna would be on board for the end of the cruise.
"I don't." Claire said.
She quickly realized by the end of the cruise, she more than likely would have a twin.
Claire started to check the females out herself now. She actually liked the shapely curves they both possessed. They both were young and looked fit.
"I'm one of a kind." Claire said.
Claire didn't think Samantha would be done Resequencing before the cruise was over. It seemed unlikely she would be on board the ship either.
Cameron thought along the lines Claire did. She didn't think there was any reason to bring Samantha up. Her Resequencing wasn't quite done yet. She wanted Samantha to remain with Precious.
"We'd better rejoin our group." Cameron said.
Things seemed to be escalating where she didn't want them to go. She would need to find out what Sheila and Ally did with the females earlier.
"It was nice to meet you." Cameron said.
Cameron shook both of their hands. She ran what scans she could. Nothing looked dangerous. A blood sample would be better.
The two females took off. They looked back several times as they walked away.
Clare liked what she saw.
"What was that all about?" Claire asked.
There was a noticeable scowl on Cameron's face.
"I don't know." Cameron said. "I need to find out what Sheila and Ally have done."
Claire and Jesse watched the girls go. They would like to get to know them a little better themselves.
Jesse looked at Claire and then at the girls as they departed.
Claire nodded.
"Maybe Claire and I can hang out with them a little." Jesse said.
Claire smiled. As long as it was a 'four way', she didn't have a problem. She didn't want anyone to 'steal' Jesse away from her. As long as she was included, she was good to go.
"I'm in." Claire said.
The two females looked back one last time.
"Can you believe it?" The first female asked.
The two girls were still trying to process everything.
"If the one twin didn't have noticeably larger breasts, I would have thought it was the same two girls we met earlier." The second female said. "The other two twins are completely identical. I don't think anyone could tell them apart."
One of the girls thought Claire was a relative of Cameron and Ally.
"Their friends were hot too." The first female said. "The Asian beauty's partner looked a lot like the other two twins. I bet they're sisters or cousins."
The other girl was a little leery of getting her nipples pierced.
"Do you still want to go through with it if we find the other twins?" The second female asked.
The first girl was pretty sure she wanted to go through with it.
"I want to look at her again in detail, if she'll let me. I think it looks beautiful." The first female said. "I almost did it in Ensenada."
The girls were a little apprehensive of the tattoo parlor which offered to do the piercing. It could have looked a little more sanitary.
"I should have supported you more." The second female said. "Seeing it first hand makes it real. It looked totally hot. She is right too about the rings making a statement."
The first female wanted the full support of her friend.
"Is it still fine with you if I decide to do it?" The first female asked.
Her friend really wanted to see it.
"Hell, yes." The second female said. "Just talking about it already has me excited."
The first female was pleased to hear it.
"I want a set of rings." The first female said. "The barbells are out."
The second female hoped they would be of a larger diameter.
Cam went back to check on the sounds from the way she'd come. She reached the smaller pipe where she'd left the two crossed hairs, they were undisturbed.
She quickly backed into the pipe on her hands and knees. It was a tight fit. She made a small scraping noise as the toe of her shoe lost traction on the silt. She was sure the sound was heard by whoever was coming.
Cam waited with her Taser ready.
Al and Ed moved through the ever shrinking pipe.
"I think I heard a scrapping type sound." Al said.
Ed heard it too.
"I thought it was you." Ed said.
"No. I'm sure it was in front of us." Al said.
Ed felt they needed to use more caution at this point.
"We need to remain silent and slow down." Ed said even more quietly. "Hand signals only."
They were sure they were about to make contact. They still did not know with whom.
Steve and Tom approached the area where there was the brief surface contact.
"We need to go to hand signals." Steve said. "It could be a Terminator."
Tom hoped it wasn't a Liquid Metal Terminator.
"What if it's Liquid Metal?" Tom asked.
Steve thought they could do some damage.
"We both have an M203 on our M4. We have acid rounds." Steve said.
Tom knew there was more than one way to damage a Liquid Metal Terminator.
"We both have a Thermite grenade as well." Tom said.
They both looked back at where they'd left Savannah.
Steve wanted to buy Savannah time to drive away if they encountered a Liquid Metal Terminator.
"We'll stay and fight it as long as we can." Steve said.
Tom agreed to do so. He understood exactly what Steve meant.
"We'll warn Savannah to run and we will fight until we're terminated." Tom said.
They were both willing to sacrifice for Savannah.
"It will be so." Steve said. "We'll fight for Savannah."
The two Terminators separated some more and moved into the target zone. They didn't know what they were about to encounter. Whatever it was, they would fight to buy time for Savannah to escape. The 'Chosen One' would be protected, no matter what the cost was.
CamNet relayed the conversation with Steve and Tom to the Young bunker.
"I think it would be about the last thing we need." Young Allison said.
Anna was worried now.
"I don't know what made them think of it." Anna said. "I haven't seen any indication of it."
Young Allison wondered about which part.
"Do you mean the Liquid Metal Terminator or staying to fight it as long as possible?" Young Allison asked.
Anna referred to a possible Liquid Metal Terminator.
"I think it was because we picked up such a short hit on the thermal image. Neither CamNet nor John Henry could determine what it was." Anna said. "It's why they think it could be Liquid Metal."
It seemed they were missing something.
"Why would there be a Terminator there of any kind in the first place?" Young Allison asked.
Anna pointed out some of the other unknowns associated with this operation.
"Why was there a Gray or Fanatic there?" Anna asked. "Why were there Grays or the anti-Metal faction watching the area and other group?"
Young Allison wanted Savannah to know.
"I think we need to warn Savannah." Young Allison said.
Anna was positive Savannah would stay to back up the team.
"She won't leave any of them." Anna said.
Young Allison wanted the warning passed on to Savannah anyway.
"I want CamNet to give Savannah the same information we received." Young Allison said.
Anna knew Savannah wouldn't run.
"Savannah will arm herself with an acid round in her M203 and as many Thermite grenades as she has in the SUV." Anna said. "She'll go down to assist them."
Young Alison didn't want Savannah to be blindsided. She believed Savannah should know everything they did. She was the one on the ground in the battle zone.
"She needs to know where everyone stands." Young Allison said.
Young Allison looked at Anna. She looked serious.
Anna could tell there was something major about to happen. The look on Young Allison's face said it all.
"What is it?" Anna asked.
Young Allison needed to make some decisions.
"Is there a complete copy of 'Cherry Bomb's' program?" Young Allison asked.
Anna received an update from CamNet.
"Yes." Anna said. "I just verified it with CamNet."
It was all Young Allison needed to confirm.
"I want a private line to 'Cherry Bomb'." Young Allison said.
Anna wondered what for.
"What are you going to do?" Anna asked. "There are six Terminators down there on the ground, above and below it anyway."
Young Allison needed to verify the facts.
"They all have back up programs right?" Young Allison asked.
Anna was very worried about Young Allison's line of questioning.
"Yes." Anna said. "I've confirmed it with CamNet."
Young Allison needed to make sure all the pieces of the puzzle were there.
"Does Cameron have two female and four male Terminator chassis which haven't been activated yet?" Young Allison asked.
Anna didn't like the direction of the conversation at all.
"Yes." Anna said. "I've double checked with CamNet."
Young Allison made up her mind. She was going to protect Savannah.
"Give me a private line to 'Cherry Bomb'…." Young Allison said.
Savannah received all the transmissions Young Allison wanted her to hear.
Her first line of action was to gather her weapons and get ready to go down and assist Steve and Tom.
CamNet warned her directly not to approach the area. There could be a massive zone of destruction at the old newspaper plant. She may be too close now even.
It must be something extreme.
"What has Young Allison done?" Savannah asked.
Young Allison's conversation to 'Cherry Bomb' was private.
"I can only speculate." CamNet said.
Savannah looked up.
'Cherry Bomb' was gone.
Savannah knew right away it must be the 'key'. She needed to hurry to get to where Steve and Tom were at. She knew there was only one thing that could stop whatever Young Allison wanted to set into motion. It was herself.
Hank and Larry continue to monitor the drone footage around them, as well as where the female Fanatic was at.
They began to look through the boxes.
Larry found the hard drives.
"Look at these." Larry said.
Hank remembered what they saw from the earlier drone footage.
"She destroyed two phones and a tablet at the park." Hank said.
Larry knew she got enough information to operate on. She was able to find the anti-Metal location.
"She currently has some information we don't possess." Larry said.
Hank wanted to have a 'talk' with her. He doubted it would be a long one.
"If we capture her, she'll use her poison tooth or blow herself up." Hank said.
CamNet sent them a warning about the anti-Metal group. They would more than likely have weapons able to take down a Terminator. It was suggested they allow the female Fanatic to engage the anti-Metal group and then deal with her later on. She obviously had several other targets to take down.
Hank and Larry watched the drone image over the target location.
"I think she's going to be back here within a few minutes." Larry said.
Hank was able to take images of the documents he'd looked at. What they needed were the hard drives.
"Let's keep what we have." Hank said. "I'm going to rearm the bomb."
Larry took the hard drives, as well as a few other items they'd collected, from the two boxes. They left everything else. They could more than likely require it later on.
"Let's see what she does." Larry said. "Let's see where she goes next."
The female Fanatic heard the rear door to the building close. She peered around the dumpster with her pistol in front of her. There was no one there. Both men went back inside. She continued her journey across the back of the building.
She passed by the roll up door and continued to the regular door. She reached up and tried the handle. It was locked. She took one look around and moved on. She went back to the fence with the missing bricks at the top. She pulled herself over and landed on the other side. She stood back up on the stacked up bricks and looked back at where she'd been. There was no sign of anyone coming out of the building to pursue her.
She hurried to the back fence and climbed over it. She had a little difficulty again getting over the fence. It was taller than the side fence. Luckily it wasn't as tall as the fence on the target property in the rear. There was no way she could have gotten over it without some type of additional assistance.
There were no other obstacles in her way as she made it back to the street. She looked around and moved towards the vehicle she'd already selected. She opened it up and started it. It took her a little longer than anticipated.
As soon as it started, she sat up and looked around. There was no one in sight. She drove away and headed to where her van was parked. She pulled up in back of it. She looked around before she got out. Nobody was spotted. She approached her van and looked through the front windshield. Everything appeared the same as it was before.
She opened the van and went inside of it. She quickly collected one long gun, some loaded magazines, and the two boxes of items she'd taken from the building. She didn't spend time to look through them. She didn't notice any items were missing. She deposited them in the new vehicle and came back to her van. She was about to start it, she paused. She went back and checked the bomb. It was still armed. She checked the remote control in her pocket. There was still a positive link. She decided to set the timer on the bomb as an additional backup in case she was shot before she could push the button. She needed to get the bomb inside of the building first. She calculated the time it would take her to reach the rear of the target building.
Once she was in the driver's seat she turned the key and the van started. She looked back at the bomb and drove off. She returned to the main street and headed for the target location. She paused two buildings down from where she wanted to go. She needed to let another minute burn off of the clock. She checked the time on her burner phone. She took the time to strip a length of cloth loose on the seat cover between her legs. It was to act as a 'rope' to hold the steering wheel straight as she got out of the vehicle.
The time was down to one minute on the timer. She drove along the side of the target building and around to the back. She paused approximately fifty feet from the roll up door. She made sure the van was pointed straight. She quickly tied the piece of cloth to the steering wheel. She honked twice and paused. She honked a third time. She heard a metal clanking noise. It was close enough for her. She got out of the van. It began to roll forward in 'Drive'. She ran towards the fence. She could hear the roll up door go all the way up. She was over the fence in a flash. She paused and stood on the bricks to look through the gap in the fence.
The van continued to roll into the building. She held the remote control in one hand and her pistol in the other.
It was Showtime.
Hank and Larry watched everything from the drone footage.
They were a little surprised to see her line the van up with the door and then get out. They were even more surprised to see the roll up door open as the van rolled towards the opening. They watched her move quickly over the wall and pause.
"How did she manage to make the door open?" Hank asked.
Larry figured she was going to ram it.
"I don't know." Larry said. "It's not what I expected to see."
They figured one possibility could have been something she'd taken from the man she'd killed earlier, the dead man currently in the back of her van. Maybe it was some type of remote control for the door.
They both knew it was Showtime.
Moments ago:
"I hear a vehicle." The first man said.
"It must be Jackson." The second man said. "It's about time he returned."
Beep.
Beep.
Pause.
Beep.
"That's the signal." The first man said.
"I'll open the door." The second man said. "I think we're about to get some 'fresh meat'."
"It may be meat." The third man said. "I don't think it's going to be very fresh."
"All stank is good, some of it is just better." The fourth man said.
The door was up and the van immediately came inside. It seemed to be traveling at idle speed.
"We have a big day tomorrow." The fifth man said. "Let's get mounted up."
"Hey, where's Jackson at?" The first man asked.
The van continued its progress. It didn't appear it was going to stop before it impacted a workbench.
"Jackson, quit screwing around." The second man shouted.
"Stop the van!" The third voice shouted.
"Something's wrong!" The first man shouted. "Everybody needs to clear out of the building now."
The five men inside the building realized something was terribly wrong when the van hit the workbench and kept rolling at the same speed. It was headed towards a large drill press.
The five men began to scramble away from the van.
They weren't fast enough.
The female Fanatic tried to keep track of the time in her head. She figured the timer on the van still had approximately fifteen seconds.
She heard some shouting inside. The last shout was very distinct.
"Something's wrong!" The first man shouted. "Everybody needs to clear out of the building now."
She didn't wait for the timer. She pushed the button on the remote control and quickly ducked down behind the block wall. She'd intended to be a little further away.
The noise was very loud. The area around her lit up as the bomb went off. She could feel the ground shake. Debris began to rain around her. Several more blocks were blowing out of the wall. Luckily, none of them hit her. She moved to look around the larger opening in the wall.
There was a shrill scream from the other side of the wall. Half of the back wall of the building was missing. There is a section missing out of the side wall as well. Everything was burning. Someone ran out of the building on fire. She could see their arms moving up and down like a bird trying to fly. One arm was missing above the elbow. The other one ended slightly below the elbow. She thought about shooting them. She didn't think it was necessary. They were a threat to SkyMaster. Now they weren't. They would be dead soon enough.
She took one last look at the raging inferno and decided it was time to go. She went back over the wall. She seemed to have a little less trouble this time. It was probably because she was pumped full of adrenaline after what just occurred. She made it to the street in back of the location. She glanced over and could see the flames shooting into the sky. She wondered what else was inside of the building. There was another explosion from the area. She figured they probably had explosives of their own. She began to run towards where her new vehicle was located.
Hank and Larry thought the drone images were rather spectacular.
"She seems to be very lucky in all of her encounters." Hank said.
Larry figured it was more than luck.
"I believe she's well trained." Larry said. "She seems to be a formidable opponent for other humans."
Hank didn't think it would be a problem for them.
"We're not humans." Hank said. "I still think we should terminate her now."
Larry knew they needed to follow CamNet's guidelines.
"We need to see where she goes next." Larry said. "She can be taken out at any moment with a missile."
Hank and Larry were on a side street near where her new vehicle was parked. They were close enough where they could see her return to the vehicle and get inside of it. She drove off. They started their loose pursuit again. The drone tracked her. They tagged along behind.
Moments ago:
The female Fanatic ran from the area. She soon arrived at her new vehicle. She quickly took a look around it. Everything appeared to be as she'd left it. She got in, started it and drove away. She watched her mirrors to see if anyone followed her. There was no one around her as she left the area.
She was very pleased she was able to use her bomb. Based upon the man she saw run out of the building on fire, she figured all five of the anti-Metal group inside of it were dead.
Now it was off to the next target. She needed to go through the boxes in more detail and see what else she could glean from them. Her current targeting information came from the tablet and phones she needed to destroy when she'd left the park.
She only kept one of the long guns and all of the magazines full of ammunition she could use with it. She still had two pistols and her knife. She would really like to have some more explosives. She was going to have to do the next location on foot. She didn't look forward to engaging the enemy so close.
She looked up the next location on her burner phone and the directions on how to reach it. She didn't know which group she would find there. If she was lucky, she would find some more of SkyMaster's followers.
As she neared the next location, she noted there were a few emergency vehicles. She decided to not get too close. She was currently in a stolen vehicle. She didn't think it would have been reported yet. She didn't want to take any chances. She parked four blocks away and walked a little closer to the location. There were a few people standing around behind some yellow tape. It had been put up to form a perimeter.
"What happened here?" She asked.
There was a portly man who turned around and looked at her.
"We heard it was an unfortunate accident." The man said. "A big rig plowed right into the building and exploded. It was carrying gasoline or something."
She knew right away it wasn't an accident. She quickly disengaged from the small crowd. She knew it was an attack. Based on the nature of the attack, it made her wonder if it was done by a SkyMaster follower. She wasn't sure if it was really some type of flammable liquid or a bomb.
"Go easy, brother." She said. "You've achieved Ascension with honor."
She didn't know the building itself was another suspected SkyMaster cell. It was more than likely there were a few of her brothers who'd achieved Ascension.
The female Fanatic went back to her vehicle and headed towards the next target location. It was clear there were still a few players on the field. Some of them were on her team.
Earlier:
Hank and Larry received a warning from CamNet about the location the female Fanatic appeared to be headed towards. It was a location which was taken down a few hours ago by a Resistance operation.
They hung back and didn't go anywhere close to the destroyed building. They watched the drone footage. They watched everything the female Fanatic did and her quick return back to her vehicle.
Hank was a little concerned about the overlapping operations.
"I think we need to turn this over to the Resistance if she goes to any more locations they've dealt with today." Hank said.
Larry didn't see it as a problem. There were other Terminators from Cameron's base assisting on the fringes.
"We may become part of the operation ourselves." Larry said. "Let's see where Cinderella takes us next."
Hank tilted his head slightly as he made the connection to the reference. He hoped it wasn't the old newspaper plant.
"I guess we'll find out soon enough." Hank said.
Hank and Larry picked up their loose pursuit of the female Fanatic.
Two Of Both Of You
My mind held in chains
Wants someone who's true
It can only take so much
I don't need scorn or rue
I need someone to listen
Not to control or subdue
Look what's there
It's time to take your cue
A soul that's empty
Is warped and askew
Everything is missing
From what I once knew
A heart now deflated
Where love once grew
Only means that tomorrow
Will be nothing more than déjà vu
Here's a messed up preview
When two make a debut
The only thing worse would be
If there were two of both of you
Nobody
