Chapter 1264

Made A Good Meal

The drones on patrol around the old newspaper plant picked up a surface contact. It was on the east side of the building. They still didn't know if they were Grays or Fanatics.

Steve was dispatched to intercept the target but not engage them yet. He moved into position and was able to track the Gray. He was now on the east side of the building where the railroad siding was. He'd been here before during the original takedown of the building.

He was able to beat the Gray there. The Gray actually passed him as he waited hidden for the Gray to go by. He wanted to see if the Gray checked the panel where the two girls entered into the building at. If he did, the girls were probably dirty after all. If it were the case, it would result in their termination.

The Gray passed by the spot and never even looked. He would make sure John Henry knew it. Savannah wanted to give the girls a chance. Maybe she was right. No, she was right. The 'Chosen One' was always right. She knew what was best for everyone.

Steve moved out after the Gray. He was nearly to the corner of the building. The Gray attempted to talk into a phone or radio. All communications were blocked.

The Gray stopped. He began to look around. He apparently didn't like the fact he couldn't communicate.

Steve went down low. It looked like the Gray may return the way he'd come. He was bound to spot him if he did.

"You're clear to take him down." John Henry said.

Steve knew they watched the events in the Command Center as they happened from drone footage overhead. They understood his situation. He readied his silenced M9. He didn't want to alert the other person converging on the target area.

Seconds ago:

Allison and Vanna watched the monitors with John Henry.

"The one Gray is in the drainage system already." Allison said.

Vanna watched the other Gray.

"We won't know what happens to him until he emerges or Al does. It's the other Gray that looks like a problem right now." Vanna said.

Allison saw the Gray stop from the drone footage. It sent up a red flag.

"Why did he stop?" Allison asked.

The drone footage showed him trying to do something.

"I hope he's not about to blow something up." Vanna said.

John Henry previously blocked his communications.

"He's attempting to communicate." John Henry said. "He'll be unable to do so."

Vanna watched as Steve advanced on the Gray.

"Steve's closed up on him." Vanna said.

Allison spotted the M9 he held.

"I think he's in too close." Allison said. "If the Gray retreats, he may see Steve."

They watched the Gray look around. It looked like he was about to go back. If he did, Steve would be spotted.

"Tell Steve to protect himself." Allison said. "Remember the Gray may be a Fanatic."

John Henry was beat to the task.

"CamNet already authorized it through my server." John Henry said.

Vanna wondered about the timing or rendezvous. There were two different targets apparently headed to the same location. There was no clue if they were actually connected or not.

"What will be the time duration the other Gray is in the drainage system?" Vanna asked.

John Henry made a quick calculation.

"If he knows where he is going, it will be no more than six minutes." John Henry said.

It didn't seem like a lot of time to Allison.

"Savannah and the girls don't have much time to get ready." Allison said.

John Henry indicated where Tom waited on the satellite overlay map.

"Tom is right there." John Henry said. "He can intercept or take down either Gray if they approach the spot where the girls went in."

Allison wondered if maybe there was some other way in or around Cam or Cammy missed. She was about to say something when Vanna spoke.

"What's the other Gray doing now?" Vanna asked.

They all looked at the drone footage.

"I'm not sure." John Henry said.

Savannah and Cam listened to what was going down. Savannah could watch the drone footage on her phone. It looked like things were coming to a head. She was worried about Cammy at the door below. So far she hadn't been able to find the correct combination.

"Go check on Cammy." Savannah said. "It's time to wrap things up. We need to get ready."

Cam was hesitant to leave Savannah. She knew the enemy was in the vicinity.

"I want to stay here with you." Cam said.

Savannah didn't think it would be a problem. Tom was right outside the building.

"I'll be fine, Cam." Savannah said.

Cam went back down the stairway. She returned thirty seconds later.

"Cammy is still trying." Cam said. "I told her we have about two to three minutes at the most."

Savannah monitored the progress of the Gray on the east side of the building. She wanted to get everything in place ahead of time. She didn't want them to have to hurry.

"You should conceal yourself and have Cammy check your position on the way up." Savannah said. "The one Gray on the east side has stopped. I'm not sure why or what he's doing."

Cam checked her phone. She received information from CamNet and John Henry.

"He may have spotted Steve or Tom." Cam said. "He's trying to communicate with someone."

Savannah wondered if the building was going to be blown up. She wasn't going to take any chances. She wanted everyone ready to evacuate.

"Steve needs to take him down before he can sound an alarm or detonate anything." Savannah said. "Call Cammy up now, we're going to exit the building if he doesn't continue in this direction."

Savannah didn't want to be in the building if someone blew up the basement. She didn't want to be in the basement if the building blew up either. Both sounded like a pile of smoking rubble on top of them. The prospect of being trapped again didn't sit well with her.

She couldn't help but think about all the smoke she needed to breathe in the mine. She remembered the rocks that almost hit and crushed her in several locations. It was being trapped in the metal tube with a limited supply of oxygen that came to the front of her mind. She didn't want the building on top of her. It was very unnerving to be trapped with no way out. Then again, they would probably all be terminated.

Steve received the take down order.

The Gray was stopped for now. He was fooling with something.

Steve held his M9 with the silencer on it. He took careful aim and his finger tightened on the trigger.

"The other Gray is already at the grate to exit the drainage system." John Henry said.

The Gray Steve was about to shoot, turned and went around the corner towards the location. He decided not to shoot yet. He didn't know what either of the Grays was capable of doing. He knew they needed to be careful neither one of them set off a bomb.

"The other Gray has resumed his journey." Steve said. "I'm closing.

Steve checked the drone feed to make sure the Gray wasn't waiting around the corner to ambush him. He wasn't. Steve thought it would be a good idea to check for any IED the Gray may have left where he paused for so long at.

Savannah began to worry about the time. She'd sent Cam down to send Cammy up as she got into position to wait for the arrival of the Gray.

Cammy appeared at the top of the stairs.

"Cam is in position." Cammy said. "Someone would need to look directly at her to see her."

Savannah was glad they were ready for the ruse. With the threat of a bomb going off, it wasn't what she wanted right now.

"We may need to withdraw." Savannah said.

They received disturbing news.

"The other Gray is already at the grate and ready to exit the drainage system." John Henry said.

Cammy knew it was right outside where they were. The Gray made really good time in the drainage system. It was clear he'd been in it before to make it so quickly. He knew exactly where he wanted to go and how to get there.

"It's too late to go out now." Cammy said. "The enemy is right outside."

Savannah wondered how it was possible. It seemed way too quick for her.

"How did the Gray get here so fast?" Savannah asked. "Maybe they're a Terminator."

Cammy was sure it wasn't the Gray's first visit.

"I think they've been here before and know what to do." Cammy said. "They may be on a predetermined time schedule as well. It's possible he could have run through part of the drainage system. Either way, he's already here."

They heard the transmission from Steve.

"The other Gray has resumed his journey." Steve said. "I'm closing."

Cammy wanted Savannah protected as best as she could in the confined space.

"We must conceal ourselves." Cammy said. "Lay against the wall and I'll lie in front of you to shield you."

Savannah saw no need to protest. She knew it would make Cammy feel better if she felt she was protecting her with her chassis. There was only so much room for them to hide.

Savannah and Cammy got into position.

Cammy covered them over with the tarp.

Savannah hoped the dog didn't have fleas. It laid on the tarp as it nursed its offspring.

Cammy made sure Savannah still would have room to fight if she were Tasered.

Tom saw the grate move. He was surprised the Gray was there so fast. He thought he could be a Terminator but doubted it. The Gray that Steve followed was around the corner as well and approached the entryway.

The next question was, were these two individuals on the same team or opposing ones? There may be a shootout right in front of him.

He was ready to take both of them down. There was an HE round loaded in his M203 attached to his suppressed M4. He knew Steve was following the Gray coming from the east. He would concentrate on the one coming out of the grate.

He would make sure Savannah wasn't endangered unnecessarily. If there was some type of explosion and collapse of the building, he would personally get Savannah out of the rubble. It would be his personal mission. The 'Chosen One' must be protected at all costs. No sacrifice would be too great.

Cammy could hear the grate lift and slide. There was the sound of the Gray climbing out. The other Gray could be heard approaching at a fast walk. It didn't look like there would be a shootout after all.

"We made it." The first Gray said. "I didn't notice anything amiss."

"I can't reach anyone." The second Gray said.

"The reception is always bad around here." The first Gray said.

"Where's the dog at?" The second Gray asked.

"I don't know." The first Gray said. "I'm sure it ran off by now."

"It was too fat anyway." The second Gray said. "It would have made a good meal in the future."

"We signed up for the easy life." The first Gray said.

"Sometimes I'm not sure how easy it is." The second Gray said.

"It's easier than the future." The first Gray said.

"Do we know what happened to Roger?" The second Gray asked.

"I think he bugged out on us. It's what we're here to check out." The first Gray said. "I couldn't reach the office either."

"Talk about the easy life, those losers get to play with computers all day." The second Gray said. "They don't have to risk their necks out in the field."

"They probably play with themselves just as much." The first Gray said.

"I don't doubt it one bit." The second Gray said.

"Did you make sure you weren't followed?" The first Gray asked.

"I did." The second Gray said. "There was no one. This is a lot of drama over nothing, or someone going AWOL."

The two men looked around.

"Let's go." The first Gray said.

They lifted the loose panel and disappeared inside.

Anna and Young Allison watched everything go down.

Anna could tell Young Allison wanted to act.

"I know you want a drone to light both of them up." Anna said.

Young Allison did want to do it. She wanted to follow Savannah's suggestions since she was the one on the ground.

"I do." Young Allison said. "Savannah wants it to play out some."

Anna ran everything they did through John Henry's server.

"John Henry agreed with all of your calls." Anna said.

Young Allison tried to keep everyone in mind. She knew she needed to fill John's shoes. She needed to act within the guidelines of the Command Center. Normally she operated outside of them. CamNet backed and enacted her plays.

"I do what's necessary." Young Allison said. "I'm trying to be a team player."

Anna could tell there was some frustration on Young Allison's part. She wanted to reassure her she was doing everything correctly. It was clear she was worried about Savannah and the Terminators on the ground with her.

"You are, Allison." Anna said. "You are."

They watched the two men link up and then enter the building.

"I want Steve and Tom to follow them in." Young Allison said.

It caused Anna some worry.

"Do you mean now?" Anna asked.

Young Allison hoped to hear a report after the men went down the stairs.

"No." Young Allison said. "Give it a minute. Cammy or Savannah may tell us more."

Anna could see things getting a little worse.

"They may also follow the men down." Anna said. "We'll lose communications again."

Young Allison prepared to send in backup.

"That's what Steve and Tom are for." Young Allison said.

Young Allison looked over the monitors.

Anna could tell she was looking for something.

"What are you looking for?" Anna asked.

Young Allison was sure there was more than met the eye.

"I'm still not convinced there aren't any hostile drones involved in this." Young Allison said.

Anna was unsure why Young Allison felt there was. There hadn't been any indication there were hostile HK drones. There was a broad screen of their drones above the target area.

"CamNet has placed drones at all the locations and the various altitudes you requested." Anna said. "They're operating in counter rotating and overlapping orbits at different altitudes. It's very extensive drone coverage."

Young Allison didn't like the 'feel' she received from the operation. There was no concrete evidence to back up her suspicions. She wanted to say what her gut told her.

"There's more going on here." Young Allison said.

Anna wasn't sure what Young Allison 'felt'. She didn't.

"Steve and Tom are ready to move." Anna said.

Young Allison didn't want to jump the gun.

"I hope to hear from Savannah first." Young Allison said.

Holly followed behind Summer and Jan until they neared the private area. She then moved ahead of them.

They passed Derek and Riley's suite. It was evident they were busy.

They entered the private area.

Holly glanced over at the Honeymoon Suite.

"I take it we won't go in through there." Jan said.

Holly tried to keep her reply civil.

"This is their vacation." Holly said. "Everyone is entitled to some alone time."

Summer glanced over at the Master Suite.

"I don't even need to ask." Summer said.

Holly didn't see it as too different from their house in Palmdale.

"Nor should you ask." Holly said. "You'll be grown one day too."

Summer knew it wasn't too far off. She also doubted Young Allison was going to wait for anything.

"I know." Summer said. "I'm sorry."

Holly was aware Summer knew a lot.

"Your mother has explained everything to you." Holly said.

Summer corrected her. She learned it all and then some before her mother ever 'talked' to her about 'big girl' things. She already knew what her 'duty' would be in the future and everything that would be 'required' of her. She was ready for it all.

"Actually it was Allison." Summer said.

Holly was about to ask which one. She decided not to. She figured it was both of them. The more she thought about it, she figured it was Young Allison before Allison. Young Allison trained Summer to be her 'replacement' from the first day she started to train her in secret. It included all her future 'duties' to make sure John was protected from assassination by the anti-Metal group.

Holly opened the door to the spare room of the Honeymoon Suite from the private area. There was no need to disturb anyone else.

The girls whispered to each other and giggled a little bit as they went into the room. They knew what everyone was up to.

Holly asked them to get cleaned up and brush their teeth.

Jan wanted to take a bath.

"I never get to take a bath." Jan said. "It only happens when I go to Summer's house."

Holly didn't see it as a problem. Some things didn't exist at the base.

"There are no bath tubs at the Resistance base." Holly said.

Jan thought there were a lot of things which weren't at the Resistance base.

"That's why I never get to take one." Jan said.

There was a large bathtub in the bathroom of the smaller suite.

Holly didn't want the girls to make a mess in the bathroom.

"You can use the big bathtub here." Holly said. "Don't run it too full or make it too hot."

Jan knew the bathtub was about four times the size of the one at Summer's house.

"Can we take a bath together?" Jan asked. "We didn't get to go swimming earlier."

Holly tilted her head slightly. She was surprised by the question. She hadn't anticipated such activity from the two girls at this point in time. She didn't think so. She knew what Cameron wanted for them when they were older. She didn't want to be the one responsible if anything happened now. She wasn't even sure why she thought about it. She needed a compromise.

"You can put your bathing suits on first." Holly said.

Summer would have preferred a two piece bathing suit, like a bikini. It seemed everyone wanted her covered up as much as possible. She didn't think it was necessary.

"Mine's a one piece." Summer said.

"Mine's a two piece." Jan said. "I'm not going to wear the top. I don't think it's a big deal if I don't. Everybody has the same things. It's only the size that's different."

Holly looked down at the front of her sheath. She didn't see it as a problem. She'd spotted girls in the kid's pool without tops. They were much younger than Jan and Summer. Some of the teenagers she'd observed were nearly naked, even if they wore a top and a bottom. Everything was clearly visible to anyone.

"It's fine. I'll be there to assist you and make sure there are no accidents." Holly said. "I don't want anyone to slip or fall."

Jan thought it was overkill.

"We don't need assistance." Jan said. "It's just a bath."

Summer understood the real reason. She didn't say anything.

Holly didn't want to get blamed for 'anything'. She knew in a playful environment, things may get carried away.

"You're my responsibility." Holly said. "I want you to wash behind your ears too."

Jan didn't like all the rules.

"Now you sound like my mom." Jan said.

It sounded like a complement to Holly. Sarah was a good fighter.

"Thank You." Holly said with a smile.

Jan and Summer looked at each other but said nothing.

The girls stripped off their dresses and hung them up in the closet. They looked at each other for a moment.

Holly watched them to make sure there were no problems, especially problems for her.

Earlier in The Owner's Suite:

Cameron looked at the medicine Sheila gave her. There were dosing instructions on the bottle. She was aware of John's current physical condition. She scanned him all the time, even when they shared with each other. There wouldn't be any problems.

She needed a plausible way to have John take the medicine. She didn't want to tell him what it was for. She wanted to boost his performance secretly. It would make him more confident if he thought he was more virile on his own. She felt she'd put a big strain on him with all the sexual activity. It seemed with a different chassis, it breathed new life into him. She still wanted the most out of it.

"There may be a rough sea later on tonight." Cameron said. "I don't want you seasick if I'll be in a 'new' chassis. It would give me a complex. I'd hate to 'ruin' it for anyone else."

John felt fine. The ship's passage was smooth.

"I think I'm good." John said.

Cameron handed John a bottle of water and a pill.

John hoped it wasn't a 'knockout' pill. He knew Jesse and Claire were nearby. He wouldn't put anything past Cameron. He wasn't opposed to the idea of being with them. He just wasn't sure if Cameron would be able to handle it. It was their honeymoon after all. Even if Cameron said it was what she wanted. She wanted him to have the best honeymoon ever. He wasn't really sure about everything. He looked at the pill.

"Is this the seasick medicine?" John asked.

Cameron chose her words carefully.

"It will get you through the night." Cameron said. "It will keep me from worrying."

John took the pill. He figured whatever was going to happen, was going to happen. He wasn't about to turn anyone away from his bed again, especially if Cameron was the one who put them there.

Cameron knew it would take an hour to take full effect according to the instructions.

John was ready for a little action. It had nothing to do with the medicine he'd just taken.

Cameron kissed John. She was ready for a little action as well. There was a specific purpose behind what she wanted now. She wanted to make sure John didn't finish too soon when she did the chassis swap.

"I want you to be with me in my chassis now. In an hour or so I'll 'upgrade'." Cameron said.

John wasn't sure 'upgrade' was the right word. It was more because everything was 'different'. 'Different' is what made it exciting. It was a new experience for both of them. He thought it was the same way for everybody. How could it not be?

"You don't want me to finish too fast like I did with Sheila the first time. I mean with you in her chassis." John said. "I was very excited."

John was excited. To him, it was 'Sheila' or 'Jesse' he was with, in his mind, even if he knew it was Cameron in control. To be with her with a completely different sheath was like being with someone totally different. How could it not be? Everything he touched and experienced was totally different.

It was a 'first time' for Cameron. It was different than she'd expected. She was disappointed with the experience. She'd read in Cosmo it was a common experience for about nine out of ten females on their first time. The second time was much better for her and she was able to finish. Then her programming reset for the additional experiences. She took control of most of those. John couldn't keep 'up' with her.

"It should be enjoyable for all of us." Cameron said.

John wondered what Cameron was going to do this time. He knew the other Metal girls were ready for the experience, he wasn't sure how it would play out. He wanted Cameron to make the choice. He wanted to see what she would say.

"Will it be Sheila again?" John asked.

Cameron thought John would rather have another virgin chassis.

"Would you like it to be?" Cameron asked. "She's not a virgin anymore."

John really liked Cameron in Sheila's chassis. She seemed so much more vibrant. He'd actually been with Cameron in Sheila's chassis on two separate occasions. He wanted to keep things simple.

"As long as it's your program I would." John said.

Cameron could tell John liked Sheila's chassis better. She planned to borrow it several times a week once they returned to the Resistance base. She would trade with Sheila right now if it wasn't for the fact John would make a big deal about it. He would tell her he liked her how she currently was. It was clear he liked Sheila's chassis better the way he made love to her in it.

She'd already made plans with Hanna. It was something to look forward to.

"I think Hanna will be in later." Cameron said. "She's a virgin."

Cameron could see John was visibly stimulated with the prospect. She hoped to provide him with a virgin chassis every night of their honeymoon. She knew a virgin human female would be the icing on the cake. The two choices which wouldn't cause a problem for anyone, were Savannah and Young Jesse. Neither of which was on the ship. It was a major disappointment to her. She still wanted to get one of them on board the ship. There were several more stops where it could happen. She really wanted John to have a human virgin for his honeymoon. It would be the best honeymoon ever for John no matter what. She smiled at the thought. She was the one who could make it all happen.

John wanted to make sure everyone was there on their own accord and because they wanted to be. He was aware of what Cameron and he would 'take' from them. So far it was what they seemed to want. He knew Sheila wanted 'one time' with him with her chip in control. It was something Cameron promised to her. She'd actually promised it to Sheila before she took control of her chassis. When it was Sheila's turn for her 'one time', it was something Cameron was going to need to deal with. He was fine with it. It would just be sex and not love. It would also really be someone 'new' at that point. He was sure he wouldn't last long as they responded to him. He was sure their response would be a little more intense than Cameron's response was.

He still worried a little at how things were being done. He really didn't understand the Metal girls allowing Cameron to 'break in' their chassis. He doubted any human female would do the same thing if they could. He decided they'd better go over the rules. He really didn't want any finger pointing later on. He certainly didn't want anything to come back to him like it was his doing or his fault.

"I need to hear Hanna say it." John said.

Cameron didn't have a problem with it. If Hanna backed out, she would get Holly. She already knew what Holly wanted since Duplicate Cameron was on Holly's chip for fifteen months. Holly herself would still be a little hesitant. She would go through with it because it was something she wanted.

"You may speak with her before we tether." Cameron said. "She's getting warmed up with Gail and Ally now."

John thought it sounded like a good idea. He was ready for some action now.

"You're going to get warmed up now too." John said.

John was already naked. He watched Cameron slip off her dress.

"How will it be?" Cameron asked.

John smiled at Cameron

"I can think of a few ways." John said.

Cameron thought it would be better to do them.

"Can you show me?" Cameron asked. "Action speaks louder than words."

Cameron wanted John to do everything the same to her as he'd done with 'Sheila' and would do with 'Hanna'. She wanted to know which sheath was superior for sex and for love making. She thought about Ginger for some reason. It would have to be another time. She really liked how pink everything was on her. Ginger was 'in some future' currently. She certainly was more than a match for everyone based off of 'Savannah' for pigmentation. The real difference would be in size. It seemed to be something John always looked at in other females. It was one of the reasons why she wanted to have Holly and Gail go after Sheila, Hanna and Ally. She didn't want John to be disappointed with their smaller size. She looked down at the front of her sheath and frowned.

Hanna was being 'serviced' by Ally and Gail.

As soon as Hanna finished, Ally wanted to speak with her.

"Don't expect me to do the same thing when you're done with John." Ally said.

Gail wanted the experience. She wanted to be like Jesse. She wanted to be prepared for everything.

"I will." Gail said. "Jesse told me about it. It adds a new dimension."

It seemed more demented to Ally. Then again, nothing Jesse did would surprise her. She was around Sheila all the time. She witnessed much of it first hand. Sheila told her the root of all of her wildness and antics stemmed from the 'Neural Interface' with Jesse. The difference was, Sheila didn't seem to have any inhibitions or morals.

Ally looked at Hanna.

"Are you really going to do it?" Ally asked. "I mean let Cameron use your chassis?"

Ally wanted to say, 'I mean let Cameron take your virginity from you and give it to John.'

Gail was ready to step up. After her talk with Jesse earlier, and Jesse's approval, she was ready to become a 'woman'. She at least wanted to know what the experience was like.

"I'll go if Hanna doesn't want to go." Gail said. "Sheila wants to go again too."

Hanna wanted what Cameron offered. She was still a little worried but Sheila promised her it would be good.

"Yes." Hanna said. "I'm very excited about it."

Ally shook her head. They were all on board. Then again so were Jesse and Claire.

"Holly is ready also." Gail said.

Hanna was ready for a new experience.

"I'll go.' Hanna said. "I want to get it over with and find out."

Ally was going to remind Hanna it was Cameron who would be the one who 'found out' for her.

"I hope it works out." Ally said as she looked at the connecting door to the Control Center. "I think Cameron is coming."

Hanna and Gail both listened.

Based upon what just occurred in the Owner's Suite, it was a pretty good bet. She was probably over on her way as well.

The female Fanatic decided it was time to get out of there. She could hear yelling and screaming back at the site where the other two vehicles were down the street. She looked around the corner to where her vehicle was parked. She could see there was going to be trouble.

There was someone looking around her newly acquired vehicle. Since the other car of gang members turned off of the street, she could only assume it was someone from the gang.

She hoped to be able to approach them before they became aware of the situation around the corner. She was sure it was only a matter of time until the other vehicle started searching when they didn't locate a female body among the dead.

She went around the corner close to the building. She tried to stay up against the building or bushes when they were there. She needed to go down a few more buildings to reach her vehicle.

More than likely she was going to need to use her firearm again. If the other car load of gang members wasn't already headed in her direction, they more than likely would be as soon as the first shots were fired.

The gang member standing by her vehicle received a phone call. She could tell there was a lot of frantic conversation going on. It appeared they'd just been alerted to what happened around the corner. She knew it was going to make her job a little bit tougher.

She was now within half a building of the target. They were so consumed by the phone call, they hadn't detected her clandestine approach. She could see them look up and down the street in both directions. They didn't look up against the buildings where she was at. It didn't appear the gang members were used to dealing with a situation where they were the ones who were hunted.

She was directly across from her vehicle now. She was up against the building. She stood between two bushes. She didn't think she could take the thug by surprise with her knife. There was too much ground to cover before she could reach the vehicle. She was going to have to shoot him. She raised her pistol and took aim.

Earlier:

Hank and Larry quickly took up positions with cover. They expected one of the vehicles to enter their location. The other one would probably go towards where the female Fanatic was at. It was obvious the vehicles weren't connected.

It was exactly how the events played out. They were able to watch the drone footage of the female Fanatic. It included the third gang vehicle. They saw there was a surprise waiting for her at her vehicle. They didn't doubt her resolve or ability to reach her vehicle and reclaim it.

Their immediate concern was the other vehicle. It was clearly headed in their direction. More than likely, they'd tripped some type of sensor or surveillance device left by the individual who killed the others. They were probably on the way back with reinforcements.

Hank took up a position where he could cover the rear door as well as the west side of the roll up door.

Larry took up a position on the east side of the roll up door. They didn't know if anyone would pull up into the building or stop outside of the building and try and make an approach on foot. Either way, they were ready for them.

CamNet planned a little intervention of her own. She quickly let Hank and Larry know of the change in plans.

She took over the phones of the gang members in the third vehicle as well as the individual near the female Fanatic's vehicle.

She simulated a call from the isolated gang banger that he'd spotted the female enter another car and gave them its description. 'He' informed them it was headed around the block. 'He' was able to give them specific instructions. In a fit of anger and rage, the surviving gang members were in. They wanted revenge. They didn't question anything. They simply acted.

In the meantime, she kept the gang member near the female Fanatics vehicle busy with another fake phone call. She watched where the female Fanatic was through the drone footage and would direct the gang member to look in a specific direction away from the female Fanatic when she made her move. It wasn't to help the female Fanatic specifically, it was to allow her to lead them to the next target.

The ultimate goal was to make it look like the dead bodies in the building were a result of gang activity. It would more than likely be assumed it was a drug deal gone wrong.

Hank and Larry watched as the third gang vehicle accelerated away from the two gang vehicles on the side street. It was headed for the main street in front of the building they were in.

The vehicle headed for the target building. It turned into the driveway just as the gang vehicle came around the corner. The gang bangers were able to see the vehicle. It met the description of their fellow gang member who was on the side street. They were sure it was the work of a rival gang and their associates had been set up. They wanted payback and they planned to get it.

The first vehicle headed for the rear of the building at a high rate of speed. Just as they turned in back of the building, the vehicle of gang members turned into the driveway and saw them make the other turn. The gang bangers increase their speed to intercept them.

The first vehicle made a wide high speed turn and ended up pointed directly at the roll up door. They clearly knew where they were going. The vehicle stopped short of driving in.

Hank and Larry were aware of what was about to occur. They each fired a silenced round from their M9. Two of the individuals who exited the vehicle were wounded and fell to the ground next to the vehicle. It was what they wanted. They wanted to keep them in the fight.

Two seconds later, the gang vehicle came around the corner at a high rate of speed. The car skidded wildly. They spotted the 'rival gang' near their car. Two of them were on the ground. They could see guns in their hands.

Three gang members poured out of the vehicle with weapons blazing. The two men who were wounded by Hank and Larry were immediately cut down by the gang members. The third survivor from the first vehicle engaged the three gang members in a heated gun battle. Two of the gang members fell. So did the third individual from the first car. Only one gang member was left standing. It was clear he was wounded. He staggered over towards the first vehicle. One of the first two men Hank and Larry shot, was able to get off one last round and shoot him. He dropped halfway down between the two vehicles. There were six men laying in the rear lot of the building. They'd all suffered multiple gunshot wounds.

Hank and Larry check the drone footage. They didn't see any other threats in their area. They checked on the status of the female Fanatic.

Seconds ago:

The female Fanatic was going to have to shoot the gang banger who was by her vehicle. He currently talked on his telephone. She raised her pistol and took aim.

She was a little surprised when he walked a few steps in back of her vehicle. He looked in the other direction. She pulled the trigger once and he went down. She was sure it was going to bring the other car load of gang members. Much to her surprise, a gun battle broke out in the direction she'd come from. She wondered who was fighting who. The thought crossed her mind the authorities may have arrived. She didn't know. She wasn't going to stick around to find out. She went over to the gang member and picked his gun up off of the street. She got into her vehicle, started it and drove off. She could still hear the gun battle raging from the direction she'd come. She headed in the opposite direction.

She took a left at the first street and then a right at the next street. She took another left when she could, and then another right soon afterwards. She checked in her rear view mirror. She didn't see any headlights in pursuit of her. Once she was on one of the big streets, she drove away from the area at normal speed.

Hank and Larry quickly exited the building. They checked on the fallen to make sure they were down for the count.

Hank checked on the gang members. They were all dead except one. He'd received multiple gunshot wounds and appeared to have taken a spinal injury. His arms could barely move. Nothing below them did. There were multiple weapons lying on the ground. He collected two of them. He would take them back inside the building later on and leave them by some of the fallen. He wanted it to look like they were a part of it.

Larry checked on the other vehicle. He didn't know if they were Grays, Fanatics or the anti-metal group. He quickly collected their phones. He also took one of their weapons. He would leave it inside of the building as well, next to one of the deceased.

CamNet assured them there would be no emergency response of any type.

They continued to get the Coltan parts ready to be picked up by Cameron's Terminator.

Hank and Larry were told to leave the area and continue their pursuit of the female Fanatic. They returned to the building before they left the scene in their vehicle and left off any phones and hard drives they still possessed. They were added to the ones collected from the first vehicle that entered the driveway.

The female Fanatic didn't think she was being pursued by anyone. She hadn't spotted any police vehicles either. She checked over information on her burner phone. It was another location within a short distance. It was where she headed.

A box truck pulled up on the side street where the female Fanatic had been parked. A Terminator got out of the passenger side. He opened the rear roll up door. He picked up the body lying in the street. He set the body in the back of the truck and climbed inside next to it.

The truck drove around the corner towards the seven dead men lying between the two vehicles. The Terminator from the back of the box truck hopped out and picked up the two guns the female Fanatic dropped after they were empty. He climbed back in the rear of the truck. They continued along their way. They made their turn at the next street. They entered the driveway of the target building and drove to the back.

The box truck backed up into the interior of the building through the open roll up door. They dumped the gang member amongst the body's already in the building along with one of the handguns used at the previous scene. The Terminator tossed the other handgun out to where the gang members were at by the other vehicle in the rear.

They proceeded to load the Coltan parts into the rear of the truck. They collected the phone's Hank and Larry left behind along with several hard drives they'd retrieved from the vehicle that returned to the location.

Made A Good Meal

There are many layers
Which one must peel
To find the person within
Who is just and real

Everyone wants to be strong
To have nerves of steel
To reach that point
Their heart must anneal

No one wants to fail
Or get a bum deal
Few things in life
Turn out to be ideal

It is often easier
Past events to conceal
The truth itself is ugly
It can sometimes be surreal

It's better to have appeal
As things are tackled with zeal
Nobody wants to be a snack
When they made a good meal

Nobody
