Chapter 1335

Make It Snappy

Summer and Jan came over to assist Sarah and Claire with the preparation of the meal.

Sarah could see Summer knew what to do right away as she walked up. She didn't even need to ask. She checked all the pans herself and what was in the oven. She started to work on a salad with Jan. Claire previously laid everything out.

Riley and Jesse offered to help, but Claire told them to relax.

They all shared some small talk and also talked about their time on the ship. It was evident it was a very special time for all of them. They were very grateful to Cameron and John to have shared the experience with them. It seemed to draw all of them closer to each other. It was more than just the activity in the bedroom too.

Kyle and Derek felt a little guilty about not doing any Resistance work for a few days. Claire reminded them it was a vacation for them. They all needed time to unwind and decompress. The easy smiles on everyone's face proved it. Even Sarah was able to smile some more than normal.

Sarah started to dish up the food on plates when Claire said some things were ready to serve.

Summer stopped Sarah. She wanted to recreate some of the things she'd observed in the dining room.

"I want to make them look like they did on the ship." Summer said.

Jan thought it sounded like fun.

"Let's do it." Jan said.

Summer asked for Claire and Sarah to be seated.

The girls quickly and carefully dished up the food and served them, two plates each at a time. Everything was very precise and neatly arranged. The presentation did make a difference. It seemed to be more than visual.

Samantha attended to Precious so Riley could enjoy her meal undisturbed.

Derek looked at the plate of food he was served by Summer. He took a moment to reflect on it. The visual aspect was stunning.

"This may not be the ship, but this is the best food I've ever seen here." Derek said.

Derek tasted a bite.

"I can also say it's as good as any food on the ship too, if not better." Derek said.

Everyone agreed with him on both counts.

Summer wanted to give her mother and Sarah credit for the preparation.

"Sarah and my mom prepared everything. Jan and I just dished it up." Summer said.

Everyone knew it was mostly Claire for the preparation.

Claire took in the praise with modesty. She knew her way around the kitchen.

Sarah and her exchanged glances.

Claire also knew her way around the bedroom, especially with a female body.

"We all have something to contribute to the Resistance." Claire said. "We all do a part. Some of us may have a smaller part than others, but every part we play helps."

No one could put their finger on it, but somehow what Claire said was profound.

Kyle liked the food too. He also noticed before they left for the trip, it seemed Sarah spent a lot of time 'looking' at Claire, when she wasn't looking. It only seemed to intensify on the ship. It looked like it was still happening here.

They had a lot of discussions about 'different people' in the beginning of their relationship. It always bothered Sarah because she was older than him. She often told him if he wanted to be with one of the younger females, she would understand and accept it. She told him she wanted him to be happy and satisfied.

He told her he was satisfied with her. He doubted any of the younger women would be able to do as well in bed as Sarah was able to do. He was always tired out before her. She told him of her earlier involvement with females in high school and some sporadic encounters later on. Most of the men she was with were because she 'had to'. It was necessary to help learn ways to protect John better.

Not long after he returned to the past, Vanna confided in him she'd been pursuing Sarah. She was going to back off because of his 'return'. She never said what was done and neither did Sarah. He never asked. Sarah only ever mentioned she still had a 'soft spot' for pretty women with substance.

He didn't think Sarah would ever leave him. He also understood there needed to be some slack in the leash. Maybe it was a leash they both held each other with. If she wanted to share with a female every now and then, he didn't think it was a problem. He knew it was the way of the future with all the abuse the females suffered. Sarah suffered her share of abuse too, in the name of protecting John.

If Sarah wanted to reach out a little, he wasn't going to oppose it. Claire and Savannah were the only ones around the base who often were 'happy' and had a smile on their face much of the time. He could understand it. It was a way to touch the life they all missed fighting Skynet. He hoped Jan would grow and keep her smile. A Skynet future could take it away from her. A Skynet future could take a lot of things away from her.

The remembrance made him think about what Cameron offered to his family and him before. He really wanted Jan to avoid the future if it was dominated by Skynet and all the Hell that went along with it. Could he send her into the past without Sarah or him? Sarah would want to stay with John to fight. He knew it was his duty too. It wasn't his daughter's duty. He'd seen females after Scavengers were 'done' with them. Sometimes he thought the 'lucky' ones were the ones who'd died.

He looked at Jan and Summer eating with Samantha and Precious next to them. None of those girls deserved what the future would do to them. He looked at Jesse. She sat next to Claire now as they ate. He knew the Hell she went through and what it did to her inside. She eventually became the same Hell too. Others paid the price and suffered her wrath.

He was really surprised to see her 'change' as Cameron, Allison and Vanna 'worked' with her. He saw love change her. It was more than sex the girls shared. She'd shared plenty of sex with Derek. The relationship only kept her in the weeds. She was the first female with a Metal lover. It really kept her out of trouble. A Metal girl could provide her with all the sex she wanted without stopping. The human girls gave her the emotional love she needed to find herself again.

"You haven't eaten a bite in several minutes." Sarah said.

Kyle blinked several times. Sarah's words brought him back to 'now'. He realized he was really lost in thought.

"I was thinking about what a wonderful family we all have here." Kyle said. "There's friendship and love here for everyone to share."

He glanced at Sarah and then at Claire.

Derek raised his glass of water.

"Hear, Hear." Derek said. "It's time for a toast to the Resistance and all its members both Terminator and human. They're the salvation of mankind. We're all one family. Our time on the ship proved it."

Sarah looked at Kyle and made the toast with him.

Kyle saw Sarah then look in Claire's direction and smile. Claire didn't see her since Jesse was toasting with her.

Sarah had devoted half of her life to protecting the future as she protected John. Sarah was the one who kept the Resistance alive and well until there were others to assist her. They all owed her for her sacrifice. He could see there was some happiness for Sarah still to find in her life. She deserved it. He didn't have a problem with it, if it made Sarah happy.

Holly led the girls outside and along the open deck. There was nothing but sky over them. The cool wind was even more intense than it was on the mostly sheltered walkway around the Promenade deck.

At this section of the ship, they could see the water on both sides of them.

"This really is an open deck." Vanna said.

Holly quickened her pace.

"We'll make it snappy." Holly said.

They passed by two of the pools one deck below the deck they were on now. They could look down on them.

"I like the view." Allison said.

Vanna looked down. There were some skimpy bikini clad females down there. There were also a few men down there too.

"I'd have to say, 'I like the view', only if you look at the hot females." Vanna said. "The others don't do much for me."

Allison wondered why the pools were so near each other.

"Why are the two pools so close but separated?" Allison asked.

There was a divide between the pools where the elevators were. They were separated by the central elevator shafts and the lifting mechanisms which controlled them.

"It's just the layout of the ship and for the elevators." Holly said. "They can have different functions or 'parties' at any of the four pools this way."

They passed by the second pool and could smell the pizzeria and grill hard at work.

"I could go for a slice of pizza." Allison said. "I can smell the pepperoni."

It seemed the smell of fresh food called out to Allison and Vanna.

"It does smell good." Vanna said. "I could eat a fresh burger right now." Vanna said.

Gail-Cam didn't want Vanna to spoil her dinner.

"It will be dinner time in a little over two hours." Gail-Cam said.

Allison felt the desire to be with Holly more and more every minute as they walked. She wanted to make it clear what she wanted.

"It means after the tour, we'll have time to hit the room and knock off a couple of quickies." Allison said.

Holly looked forward to it with anticipation too.

"There are plenty of rooms available for whatever combinations you want." Holly said. "You can do several."

Vanna wanted to be with Allison first but she could see Allison was fixated on Holly. It was fine. They were together before they came on board. She was more than ready to be with Cam in Gail's chassis. At the base, Gail often sought her out. At those times, she knew she was 'Savannah' to Gail. It was never a problem for her. She wished she could be 'Savannah' again. The Savannah of the past was superior and fared better than the Vanna of the future. Life went on. She'd beaten the past, her future, and was still standing. She was still in the game.

"I'm sure we can think of a few combinations." Vanna said.

The girls all looked at each other and smiled.

They neared the miniature golf area.

"We need to go up a short flight of stairs." Holly said.

Allison saw there were only about ten steps.

"I'm good." Allison said.

They went up to the miniature golf course. There were two couples playing on it.

Vanna liked what she saw.

"I want to play on this. I haven't been miniature golfing in a long time. This course looks like fun because it's short." Vanna said.

Allison looked at Vanna when she mentioned not having played miniature golf in a long time. She remembered when she was out previously with Vanna, Jesse and Cameron. They all had a really good time. It seemed the events which followed were even more profound.

Holly was aware they could be given special privileges to visit the miniature golf course, or anywhere else on the ship.

"Our group has access to it any time of the day." Holly said. "We can go anywhere, anytime."

Gail-Cam looked over the railing on one side.

"I see the shuffleboard area down there." Gail-Cam said. "It looks boring."

Allison and Vanna looked over the side. They watched as a young boy shoved the puck with his pole. It missed everything and went past the end. His mother told him not to push it so hard the next time.

"I guess we could try it too." Allison said. "I'm sure the Metal girls can do this course up here all in a, 'hole in one'."

Gail-Cam eyed the course and watched a ball hop over some of the uneven surface one of the couples hit.

"The movement of the ship may hinder a shot or two." Gail-Cam said. "The course looks a little irregular and worn too."

Vanna looked over the side at the shuffleboard area. It did look boring. She could picture a Metal girl calculate every shot and get a perfect score every time. She was ready to move on.

"Where are we going to next?" Vanna asked.

Holly thought the view the captain and bridge crew were able to have might interest the girls. It afforded them a similar view to the sky lounge but it was all out in the open. They would be able to see all around them except the very rear of the ship.

"We can go to the front of the ship and look out from over the top of the bridge." Holly said. "It's a really good view."

Allison ran her hand across Holly's rear end. She thought it was a really good view too.

"Maybe we can save it for when the ship is moving." Allison said. "I'm ready for the room."

Holly wanted it too. She was highly aroused every time she looked at Allison.

"We…." Holly started. "Cover your ears."

There was a loud long blast of the ship's horn. The horn was across the pool from where they were at. The sound was almost deafening. It was literally directed right at them. Allison and Vanna both held their ears tight.

"Damn, that thing is loud." Allison said.

Vanna carefully removed her hands from her ears.

"Tell me about it." Vanna said.

The girls still held their hands near their ears. They didn't know what else to expect.

"Will it do it again?" Allison asked.

Holly knew it was standard operating procedure.

"Not usually." Holly said. "It means the ship is about to get underway. They'll do it at every port when they leave. Technically we're in a port, even if we're not docked. There will be more movement of the ship as it heads into the current and picks up speed."

It reminded Allison of something else. She knew where to get both of those experiences right now.

"I'm ready for both of those things in bed." Allison said.

Allison took Holly's hand to make it clear who she wanted.

Gail-Cam reached out and took Vanna's hand.

"Follow me." Holly said. "The front elevators are almost right below us. We will be in the suite shortly."

To be with Holly in the suite seemed sweet to Allison right now.

"'Lickity split', that's just the way I like it." Allison said.

Vanna looked at Allison and they both giggled.

Holly mentioned on the way down that during an emergency, the horn they'd just heard, would blast seven times in a row, one after another.

"I guess it would get anyone's attention." Allison said.

Holly wasn't so sure.

"It's harder to hear on the lower levels of the ship in the interior." Holly said. "There's an internal system as well."

Vanna didn't want to think about any trouble at sea.

"I hope we don't hear either one." Vanna said.

Holly hoped they didn't either.

Sheila monitored the girls on the top deck. They would be going down soon, in more ways than one. She decided to move Hanna and Ally to the Honeymoon suite.

She entered the spare bedroom of the Master Suite without knocking.

Ally and Hanna were 'Allison and Vanna' right now. Their 'Neural Interface' was showing to its full extent. They didn't slow or stop in her presence.

"You need to finish up so I can remake the bed." Sheila said. "Vanna and Allison will be back soon. One of them will use this room with their Metal lover."

The revelation made Ally and Hanna 'come' to a rapid finish about thirty seconds later.

They rotated around and gave each other a long kiss.

Ally eyed Sheila.

"Are we going to make it a three way when we get there?" Ally asked.

The idea sounded good to Sheila. She wanted to remind them of her prior commitment.

"I don't see why not." Sheila said. "I'll need to be with Cam-Gail when she's 'done'."

Ally saw it a little differently.

"You mean you want to be with her when she's done." Ally said.

It was what Sheila wanted. She viewed it as a new expansion of her desires.

"I've acquired a taste for 'love'." Sheila said. "It's something I 'inherited' from Jesse."

Ally was going to ask about the taste. She knew the human girls were all different and different at different times even.

She was sure Cameron would do everything with John when she was in control of her chassis. She would find out soon enough.

"I guess I'll find out tonight." Ally said.

Sheila and Hanna both volunteered to go in her place if she changed her mind. Gail was back in there now in Cam's chassis. Holly indicated previously she was ready to allow Cameron control again as well.

"You won't regret it." Sheila said.

Hanna treasured the experience.

"What Cameron did was beautiful." Hanna said. "You can feel the love between them. It wasn't sex. It was truly love being made."

Ally figured it wasn't the only thing she would feel between them as Cameron shared the file with her in real time.

"Collect your clothes and head over to the Honeymoon Suite." Sheila said. "I need to get started."

Ally wanted to assist her since they were there. They were the ones who'd 'messed' things up.

"It's OK because we just finished." Ally said. "We'll help you and just go there naked when this room is good."

Sheila felt overdressed for the occasion.

"In that case, we'll all work naked." Sheila said.

She quickly stripped off her maid's outfit.

The three naked girls went to work. The room was perfect in no time.

Cameron asked John to start out on her chassis and then continue what he was doing with her in control of Cam-Gail's chassis. The transition should have been seamless and felt identical. It didn't. There was increased stimulation now in Cam's chassis as she interfaced through Gail's chip. No wonder she enjoyed Gail's chassis so much earlier when Gail's chip was still in it.

She tried multiple positions and she was on top in several positions as well. There was no doubt about it. She would be able to compare these tests when she delivered Ally's virginity to John later on tonight.

Very little was known about the human female Gail shared the 'Neural Interface' with. It was a very limited program. It may be the human female was a nymphomaniac. It would also explain Sheila's behavior some, since her base program was 'Gail'. Having Jesse's 'Neural Interface' on top of it, only made Sheila wilder and more extreme. It seemed Sheila craved violence almost as much as she did sex. Most of them seemed to highly stimulate her.

Cameron was in her own chassis again. She could tell John was about to finish. She wanted the last finish in Cam-Gail's chassis. She had John switch over and he finished a short time later. She did too. She held John tightly against her sheath in Cam-Gail's chassis.

John was spent. He was exhausted from the 'testing'. It was almost like he was with Cameron the whole time other than the 'quick switches'. It was very seamless. It was actually very exciting for him. He couldn't tell any difference between the two chassis. They were identical to him. It was Cameron's response that he could feel was different in each chassis. He actually liked her response in Cam-Gail's chassis. Either way it was still Cameron.

He needed to rest for a little bit.

Young Allison still wanted to do something. The incident at the mall didn't bother her. She wanted to be more of a part of it. She felt the four perpetrators got off easy. When she heard how the two girls pulled knives on Cammy and Savannah, she believed it was an offense which justified termination.

What if it would have been a different group a females? It would have ended badly for them. The girls needed to be taught a lesson. It wasn't going to happen in the justice system. They would probably be booked and released without bail and be back out on the street in a few hours. She might contact CamNet on her own and ask her to deal with them properly.

She only deferred to Savannah's requests because she didn't want to anger or upset her. She knew how much Savannah loved her and worried about her. It was a beautiful love based on emotion and feeling. She felt it too.

Savannah didn't say much as Cammy drove. It was obvious she was upset about what happened, or more likely, what 'could have' happened.

Young Allison still held Savannah's hand.

"I would like to spend more time out with you." Young Allison said.

Savannah looked over at her. She gently squeezed her hand and smiled.

"I know." Savannah said. "It was an unfortunate incident earlier."

Young Allison didn't think it was their fault.

"We did nothing wrong." Young Allison said. "We can still do other things."

Savannah knew Cammy and Anna were with them, as was the Detail. They had five Terminators with them. There should be nothing to worry about. There was a lot of firepower available too. She wanted Young Allison to have a good time.

Savannah smiled at Young Allison. She felt very comforted by her.

"We can do something else." Savannah said.

Savannah didn't know when she would be caught up in an operation again. She was lucky to have had enough free time to see CamNet and make love with her and now spend time with Young Allison. It made her feel a little guilty to wonder if she saw CamNet as a 'stand in' for Young Allison. She knew Cammy was a 'stand in' for Cameron. Cammy was 'Cameron', even if she was 'modified'. Cammy still allowed her to call her 'Cameron' sometimes when they made love as she sent her to 'heaven'.

She didn't like to see Cammy and Cameron at odds with each other. It was because Cammy was still so much like 'Cameron' that they often butted heads and argued. They'd even fought before. They both thought the other one was unstable and a threat to her. They both thought the other one should be deactivated.

Cammy listened to the girls talk as she drove. When it sounded like Savannah was going to allow Young Allison more time out, she wanted to make a suggestion. She thought it was a good one.

"We can always go back to the pet store or go to another pet store." Cammy said.

Cammy was thrilled to be around young animals.

Anna instantly liked the idea. She wanted to go to a different place to see even more animals.

"It sounds like fun." Anna said.

Anna was thrilled by the earlier experience as well.

Savannah thought a different activity would be better. Going forward, she would try and take Cammy where there was a pet store more often. She liked to see how happy it made Cammy. She would like to take Cameron to one as well. She wanted something Young Allison might enjoy more.

"I think we have seen enough small animals for today." Savannah said.

Young Allison liked her time at the pet store too.

"It was fun for all of us." Young Allison said. "I don't get to be around animals much, especially small young ones."

Cammy listened to her statement. She knew Savannah wanted to do something different.

"Maybe we can be around some big ones." Cammy said.

Anna liked the idea.

"We can go to the zoo now." Anna said. "We can see all kinds of different animals."

Savannah thought it was too late in the day for the zoo.

"We should save it for another day and start out in the morning." Savannah said. "It's too late now. We wouldn't be able to see very much."

Anna checked her phone. She found something closer to where they were.

"There's a 'petting zoo' in the Topanga mall. It's there for a week." Anna said. "We could go there."

Young Allison glanced over at Savannah. They both knew a 'petting zoo' was usually for younger children, not 'teenage' cyborgs. She didn't want the Metal girls to get fixated.

"Maybe there were enough animals for today." Young Allison said.

Anna checked her phone again. She spotted an outdoor activity teenage girls might enjoy.

"We could do horseback riding." Anna said. "There are introductory riding 'ranches' right in the city on properties with an acre or two that offer it. We don't even have to go to the countryside or hillside to do it."

Savannah knew there was horseback riding at Griffith Park. Cameron took her there before on her birthday. She always asked her if she wanted a 'silver mountain bike' for some reason whenever they went there.

Young Allison took out her phone and checked a few things.

"If we don't try horseback riding, we could do a few other things." Young Allison said.

Savannah wondered what she had in mind.

"Like what?" Savannah asked.

Young Allison already looked up a few things.

"We could go to a trampoline park, try an escape room, go to the beach for the sunset, try a hot air balloon ride or go to an amusement park. Those are a few ideas." Young Allison said. "There are all kinds of things to do."

Cammy liked the idea of an amusement park. She had a specific one in mind. It was a place she'd heard about multiple times. It was often in the news or on TV.

"I want to go to Disneyland." Cammy said. "I want to go where Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty reside."

It sounded like fun to Anna.

"I guess we could catch Alice In Wonderland while we're at it." Anna said. "Knott's Berry Farm is right by Disneyland too. It's only a few miles away. We can do both of them."

Savannah knew those things took a lot of time because of the crowds. She realized they needed to be careful what they asked for. CamNet might 'buy' the park for a day or even buy one of the parks outright. She had billions of dollars of Syndicate and Cartel money to 'play' with.

"We can go to the amusement parks some other time." Savannah said. "They take all day."

Young Allison wanted to narrow the focus of what activities they might do. She could see the Metal girls were all over the place. They wanted to do as much as she did. She also needed to think about what was practical.

"We can go horseback riding or go to the beach and see the sunset." Young Allison said. "There's the pier at Santa Monica too. There are other activities there as well."

Young Allison went there with Cameron before. She watched her beat every game there one after another.

Savannah was pretty sure Cameron had taken everyone there. She knew she'd even taken Riley there before.

"I think we've all been there." Savannah said.

Cammy and Anna looked at each other.

"I haven't." Anna said.

Savannah wanted them to check their files. They both ran Cameron's program even if it was modified.

"Cameron has, so both of you have." Savannah said.

Cammy didn't like her answer. She didn't think it was accurate, especially now.

"It's not the same thing." Cammy said. "I'm identical to Cam but we're not the same. We're not the same as Cameron, even if we started out as 'her'."

Cammy felt Cameron was unstable and should be deactivated. She could take her place for everything anyway.

Savannah didn't want things to get out of control. She also needed to think about the security risks. She didn't think there would be any. After the incident in the mall, she didn't want to take any chances.

"We can try the horseback riding where everything remains at one location on the property." Savannah said. "Everything can remain contained that way."

Cammy and Anna were thrilled.

"Maybe I can ride a pony." Cammy said. "They look cute."

Savannah wasn't sure it was a good idea. There were other factors which needed to be considered.

"I think you better stick with a full size horse." Savannah said. "You weigh a little more than you look."

Cammy touched her flat stomach.

"Do I look fat?" Cammy asked.

Anna looked over.

"You're still good." Anna said.

Cammy smiled.

Young Allison didn't want anything to slip away from her. She wanted to reaffirm the decision.

"A horseback ride it is then." Young Allison said.

Savannah hoped it worked out for everyone. A horse was a large animal and wouldn't be as 'friendly' as a puppy.

The female Fanatic got off of the forklift. She looked around for something to use as a source of ignition. It was clear Ascension was near.

She heard more gunfire back by the storage area. She really wondered what they were shooting at. She was sure some of them shot at each other. She didn't think all of the firing was at other individuals. She was sure they were firing at shadows.

There was a set of acetylene tanks. She saw there was an igniting tool hanging on the cart. She looked over at the running forklift. She really thought it would have triggered something by now. She checked around her quickly again and moved the acetylene tanks over to the spreading pool of liquid. She took the igniter with her.

There were some shop rags on a bench. She grabbed one and tried to light the corner of it on fire with the igniter. All the igniter would do is spark.

"Damn." The female Fanatic said.

Seconds later there was a 'whoosh' noise. The liquid underneath the forklift caught on fire. She watched the flames spread towards the barrels. She decided to run back in the direction she'd come from earlier. She knew there was about to be a giant explosion.

The overhead sprinklers came on. It wasn't something she'd thought about. She didn't have time to disable the system anyway. She'd needed to act while everyone was away from the area. It's what she'd done.

It seemed doubtful the water would put out the chemicals. She figured if anything, it would probably spread them further. A lot of the chemicals were lighter than water so they would float on top of it. They would burn on top of it as well.

She made it to the location where she'd been earlier. It was a sturdy steel bench. There was a large vise on it. It appeared it was used for some heavy duty things. Some of the benches and tables were steel and wood, some of them were just wood. She could see men running back towards the location of the fire. She decided to hunker down and see what happened. She didn't have long to wait.

The first group of men ran in the dock area on the other side of the bench where she hid. She didn't look out to count them. She could hear someone on the aisle where she was at. One man ran by.

There was shouting and yelling going on all around her. She heard some more gunfire from the location of the storage area. She really wondered who was in charge. Maybe it was one of the men she'd killed. It could have been the man who'd come to visit the female prisoner last while she was in the room. She didn't know. He did order the other ones out.

The initial explosion was loud. She kept her back to the steel side of the bench for protection. She figured the portion over her head would protect her from everything except one of the steel girders falling. She could hear screams from the area where she'd left the forklift with the chemicals.

The second explosion shook the entire building. Pieces of the roof and walls began to fall around her. She knew the building was severely compromised. She didn't hear any screams any longer. She wondered if her hearing was damaged even more. She rubbed her hands against her ears. She could hear the sound. She wasn't deaf. Not yet anyway. She wasn't sure if there would be another explosion or not.

From her hiding place, she could feel the intense heat coming from where the explosion was. She was pretty sure everything in that part of the building was destroyed including the men who'd been there. She didn't know how many men there were to begin with. She didn't know how many men were left. She hadn't had time to conduct proper intelligence gathering.

CamNet's two female Terminators awaited their next assignment. They watched the drone image over the building where the female Fanatic was at. They suspected it would soon be their destination.

They were more than a little surprised to see some black smoke come out of the structure. It was followed almost immediately by an explosion. The explosion was followed seconds later by an even more massive explosion. It appeared as if half of the building had collapsed and was burning.

The first Terminator checked the drone image for any additional clues.

"I don't believe it was a power cell." The first Terminator said.

The second Terminator agreed.

"There wouldn't have been the black smoke first." The second Terminator said.

It was clear to both of them there some type of explosive was used.

"I wonder if the female Fanatic finally reached Ascension." The first Terminator said.

The second Terminator quickly looked at her.

"There is no such thing as Ascension." The second Terminator said.

The first Terminator thought it was part of the problem.

"We know that, but the Fanatics don't." The first Terminator said. "It's what makes them so dangerous."

The two Terminators watched to see if any more people came out of the building. They were a little surprised at what they saw.

"It doesn't look like things ended well for her." The second Terminator said.

The female Fanatic didn't think there was any more she could do inside of the building. It was time to try to make her way out. She'd watched where the men left from earlier. She knew it led to the outside. She would need to avoid any surviving Grays inside of the building.

She wasn't too far from where the female was at in one of the rooms down the hall. She knew one man had gone in her direction earlier. It was several minutes ago. He could still be there or he could be gone by this point in time. She didn't know. She could hear angry voices over by the storage area. It was where she would need to go to make her way out.

She was close enough to see several men arguing. They took one look around and headed out of the door she was going to use to leave. She was sure there were still more Grays around the area.

There was a smaller explosion. It seemed closer now. She didn't know what it was. More than likely there were other chemicals and explosives throughout the building. Her main concern right now was if there were any power cells for the HK equipment they'd been working on. If one of those blew up, it would create a lot of damage. If there was a group of them, and they blew up together, it would probably leave a crater where the building once stood. She hoped not to be inside of it, if it occurred.

She was almost to the hallway when she could hear some type of noise. The air was very thick with smoke at this point. She didn't know if the smoke was toxic or poisonous. It more than likely was.

She stumbled over something on the ground and nearly fell. She could see it was a man. He appeared to have several bullet wounds. She quickly looked around him. She found a pistol on the ground. It appeared to be a Beretta. She grabbed it and checked the load. There was a round in the chamber. She quickly popped out the magazine and looked at the witness holes. There were still at least ten rounds in the magazine. She checked the man for another magazine or any intelligence. She pulled out his phone. There was a bullet hole through it. She let go of it. He didn't have any extra ammunition on him.

She ripped a section out of his shirt and quickly wrapped it around her face to cover as much of it as possible. She knew it wouldn't do much to stop the smoke inhalation and whatever toxins were in it. Somehow it just seemed like the thing to do.

The hallway was just up ahead. She moved with the pistol alongside of her body. She didn't have her arm extended as she held it. She didn't want it to be noticed right away or easily knocked out of her hand. She quickly went down the hall to the room the female captive was in. She opened the door. There was very little smoke in the room. She could clearly see the 'comfort bunk'. It was empty.

"Damn." The female Fanatic said.

She didn't know if the female was able to leave on her own or if she'd been taken away. She knew one man had gone in her direction earlier. She opened the door to the hall. The smoke was even thicker now.

She quickly moved down the hall to the aisle way. There were two more explosions in the area where she'd created the incident. She really wanted to get out of the building. She decided to make her way towards the door she knew led to the outside. She didn't hear any more yelling or screaming. There hadn't been gunshots in a while either. She decided to make a trip to the storage area real quick and see if she could locate a better weapon or at least some additional ammunition. With all the gunfire earlier, there must be a few dead Grays, other than the ones she'd killed in the area.

She saw daylight come in through the door she was going to use to go out. She saw two men go out. One of them carried someone. She figured it was one of their fallen comrades. It could be the female prisoner as well.

She moved to the storage area to see what she could find. The lights were on. The smoke was very thick. It was like being in the fog. She was coughing as well as she moved along. She immediately found two bodies. She spotted a pistol on the floor by one of them. It was a revolver. She quickly opened the cylinder. All six rounds had been fired. She dropped it and checked around the other man. She found a spare magazine for a different type of firearm in his pocket. It was for a 9MM. It was the same caliber as hers so she took it. She would transfer the rounds to the magazine in her firearm when she needed to.

Right now she wanted to get out of the building. She advanced with the firearm in front of her now. She knew she was sluggish and slow. She coughed a lot. She looked around as she neared the door. She couldn't see much around her. She couldn't hear anyone else. She opened the door and glanced out. She watched as a bobtail truck drove away from the location. There was another truck parked at the dock. It was a stake side truck. There were a few barrels and a crate in the back of it. She watched as someone climbed in through the driver's door. She noted there were dead men out in the parking lot. She wasn't sure what happened to them. They appeared to have been shot numerous times.

The female Fanatic ran towards the stake side truck as it started to pull away. She passed by the dead men. She could see no one stopped to assist them. She didn't know if they were killed by their own group or not. The stake side truck started to move away from her. She put a little more effort into her run and caught the back of it. There was a folded liftgate on the rear of it. She grabbed the second rung on one of the stakes at the rear of the truck and held on. She put her foot on top of the folded liftgate and climbed over the slats in the panel she'd grabbed.

The female Fanatic flopped down hard on the metal surface of the flatbed. There was another explosion at the building and another quarter of it collapsed inward on itself. She quickly moved up against the crate and the two drums. She didn't know if she'd been spotted or not.

CamNet's two Terminators watched what went down at the building where the female Fanatic was at. They saw several men exit the building and get into a box truck. They noted they weren't taken down this time. Evidently CamNet wanted to see where they ran to.

A few seconds later, there was a second group of men who exited. One of the men carried a naked female over his shoulder.

The first Terminator looked at a close up image.

"I'm not sure it's the female Fanatic." The first Terminator said.

The second Terminator thought about what happened.

"It could be one of the reasons why they didn't receive a dose of metal hail." The second Terminator said.

The first Terminator didn't think they should deal with it.

"We're not in the business of hostage rescues." The first Terminator said.

The box truck drove off before the last two men with the female who'd exited the building, could reach it. They immediately went to the stake side truck that was parked at the dock. They loaded the female inside and two men climbed into it.

CamNet's two Terminators were a little surprised to see one more individual exit the building. Their entire head was wrapped in some type of cloth material. The clothes the individual wore were the same as they'd last seen on the female Fanatic. They watched her make a desperate move to make it to the stake side truck. She made it as there were another series of explosions from the building. More of it collapsed in on itself.

Make It Snappy

Everyone is in a rush
It's always hurry up and wait
Maybe it would be better
If everyone carried their own weight

The extent of everyone's orbit
Is centered around their own world
It is seldom ever perfect for long
No matter how things are furled

When things are too slow
Or take too long to happen
The curve won't grow
It will start to flatten

People are very antsy
They are quick to move on
They don't want to stick around
They don't want to become a pawn

The best thing to do
To keep everyone happy
Be aware of what's desired
Try to make it snappy

Nobody
