Chapter 1341
Munch Box
Savannah and Young Allison went back up to the window of the Munch Box and returned with the food. Savannah carried a flimsy cardboard box with the two cheeseburgers and the chili cheese fries in it.
Young Allison carried the two root beer floats in the frosty mugs. She set them down in front of Anna and Cammy. Ice cream was something they would usually try a taste of since everyone thought it was 'good'. They wanted to try something 'good' too.
"You two can start on these first. Try some of the ice cream with a sip of root beer." Young Allison said.
Savannah handed them each a plastic spoon and a straw.
"You only have to try a little bit, unless you want more." Savannah said. "You can also try a bite of our cheeseburgers and a few chili cheese fries."
Savannah placed the chili cheese fries between Young Allison and her on the counter in front of them. It was after they had Cammy and Anna try one, they split it. They both took a very small taste of the cheeseburgers as well.
Young Allison noticed Anna was focused on something inside the Munch Box.
"What are you looking at?" Young Allison asked.
There was a vintage photo of the Munch Box hanging on the wall inside.
"The old photo shows this location in what appears to be the very early Sixties. It's in color too." Anna said. "There's been major modification to the width of the street and numerous structures have been added around this location. This building itself is the same with some minor modifications to the windows and the awnings added."
Young Allison previously viewed other historic photos of the area.
"There are some old black and white photos too of everything around here." Young Allison said.
Anna didn't want to spoil the meal with online research. She would do a search later on and find more photos. Some of them were related to the 'Southern Pacific' in Chatsworth. Some of those photos indicated there was a giant water tank for steam locomotives almost right next to them at one time. It was very educational to her. She would research things more for when they went into the past. She would know more for Young Allison.
There wasn't much traffic on Devonshire Street right now, but there was enough. Anna and Cammy watched the street as they sipped on root beer and tried the ice cream floating on top of it in the frosty mug.
The Detail was ready in their SUV. Randy was out on foot and passed by them to wait near the railroad tracks so the Detail was on both sides of them.
The girls joked and laughed with each other. It was a time of closeness and sharing. It was a day to try and have a 'normal' life. It was a taste of the life which eluded them for most of their lives.
Young Allison knew this was the life they could have in the past together. Everyday could be like it was today. When Cameron took her back, they didn't have to return to the present. Allison and Vanna could do what Cameron wanted or what Future John wanted. Jesse and her mother would be there too for John. She would want Summer to come back with them as well. Maybe they could bring Young Jesse. Maybe Sarah and Kyle would want Jan protected better in the past. Then there was Precious….
"…Allison?" Savannah asked.
Young Allison blinked and looked around.
"What?" Young Allison asked.
Savannah looked at her for a second.
"Do you want the rest of the chili cheese fries, Allison?" Savannah asked again.
Young Allison looked. There were a half a dozen left.
"See if Cammy or Anna wants anymore." Young Allison said. "You can have the rest."
Anna placed the not so frosty mug of root beer with the scoop of ice cream in front of Young Allison. She touched her shoulder and neck with her other hand when she set it down.
"I'm done." Anna said. "Thanks for letting me try some of everything."
Young Allison smiled at her. She then realized Anna was scanning her. She was going to brush her hand away but she knew it was because she was slow to respond to Savannah earlier.
"I'm fine." Young Allison said.
Savannah noticed what was going on. She smiled at her and touched her cheek.
"You were thinking about a real life." Savannah said.
Young Allison wondered how she knew.
"I was." Young Allison said.
Savannah kissed her on the cheek.
Young Allison seemed very pleased.
Savannah reflected how it all changed when she was very young.
"I do it too." Savannah said. "I do it all the time. It doesn't do any good. When I look around, I'm still here and this is still my life."
Young Allison knew Savannah lost everything. She lost her parents, her home and her lifestyle. They'd spun it that Savannah died with her 'mother' when the building was struck by a small 'aircraft' in an 'accident'. It was to take the heat off of her. She needed to grow up in isolation at the Resistance base. Cameron was very worried about her being targeted for termination. Whenever she went out, Cameron or two other Terminators always accompanied her. Sarah, Vanna and Allison all tried to do things for her. None of them were very good at girl things.
"We have each other." Young Allison said. "We will. It's all that matters in the end."
The enduring love of Vanna and Allison, which was tested by time and many trials, was proof of it.
Savannah looked into her eyes and smiled again.
Allison and Vanna sat next to each other. Any animosity or competition between them was gone, at least for now. They both wore beautiful dresses and looked about the best they ever had in their lives right now. Their love was strong and the variety of females, both Terminator and human, available to them was nice too.
They'd finished the entrées and it was time to order dessert.
Allison couldn't make up her mind.
"There are like four things I want to try." Allison said.
Holly was on her other side. The solution seemed easy to her.
"I can order two for you." Holly said.
Holly already ordered an entrée for her and she ate half of her entrée and half of Holly's. John did the same with Cameron and Vanna did it with Gail-Cam. They hated to waste the food but Cameron told them to not worry about it.
Vanna and Allison did worry about it. Cameron told them to look around. The waste of food was incredible. It was the same way in the buffet too. No, it was worse. In the buffet, people could take as much as they wanted. It usually 'translated' into more food wasted.
"They just don't know." Allison said. "The future is a killer."
Vanna took her hand.
"We're trying to make it so they don't have to know either." Vanna said. "Cameron and John are doing it everyday."
Allison knew Cameron was always in the thick of it. She'd assisted in the repair of her damage many times. It was something she never got used to either. It was terrible. Now Savannah was in it often with Cameron. They weren't recons or surveillance either. It was life and death many times.
She was suddenly aware Holly was scanning her right now. She was lost deep in thought and must have had the 'thousand yard stare'.
"I'm fine." Allison said.
Vanna looked at her and kissed her cheek.
Allison smiled at Vanna.
She decided to only order two desserts, including the one Holly ordered for her. She just didn't like to waste food. People didn't know what it was like not to have anything to eat. It was terrible to have to eat garbage. It was terrible to fight rats for food. Everything about a Skynet future was terrible.
Cameron was pleased the girls were back in 'love mode'. She wanted them to have a good time too. She wanted the trip to be fun for everyone. She also wanted John protected from the anti-Metal group. She was very pleased she was able to provide John with four completely different sheaths and two identical to hers. Well, it would be two identical to hers when she claimed Ally's virginity for John later tonight. It still left Cammy, Samantha and Anna. She planned to save Anna for last. She was sure John would like her sheath the best. She would make sure he watched the movie again before she used Anna's chassis.
"…in the theater tonight?" John asked.
Cameron was aware she was sitting there with a big smile on her face and not paying attention.
She thought John asked her about what was in the main theater tonight. She would take a stab at it anyway.
"It's a country western theme." Cameron said. "There's a male and female singer. They will perform individually and then do some songs together."
John smiled at her.
"Thanks." John said. "I looked at the little newspaper and forgot already."
Vanna looked at Cameron.
"Is that where we'll go after here?" Vanna asked.
Cameron didn't see the need for any intermediate stops.
"Yes." Cameron said.
Allison thought about their seating choices.
"Do we get to sit in those cool private boxes?" Allison asked.
Cameron wasn't sure where the best spot would be for tonight's performance. It wouldn't have all of the action as the other floor show did. They would normally only be one or two musicians on the stage at a time tonight.
"We can, or you can sit in the front row." Cameron said. "Bob already blocked off the front row in case anyone wants to sit there."
Vanna wondered about the rest of the Metal girls. She didn't want them left out.
"Will Hanna and Cam-Gail join us?" Vanna asked.
Cameron already planned on what to do.
"We can all sit together in the private boxes, or the other sets of 'look alike' girls can split up between the front row and the private boxes." Cameron said. "There's a lot of flexibility available."
Allison wanted to know where the best spot was. Cameron really didn't give her an answer earlier.
"Which position is better?" Allison asked.
Cameron knew what the better view for one of the performances was since she'd observed it from two separate locations.
"For the 'British Invasion' performance, which will be on our last night, I would say the front row." Cameron said. "You get a really close up view of the scantily clad female dancers that way. John enjoyed the view."
John looked a little nervous but managed a smile. He was pretty sure he wasn't the only one who enjoyed the close up view.
"I would have to say everyone did." John said.
John did like seeing the pretty dancers and singers up close. He thought the female body was beautiful and he could see plenty of it on the showgirls. Maybe it was because they were all human females and it made them 'real'. They were all talented. They were all entertaining to watch. Most of them were well built and very nice looking overall.
They were performers. They needed to learn the dances and the routines. They needed to learn the songs. It was all done through hard work and practice. It was something to be considered. Not everyone was perfect all of the time. Most people needed to work at it.
Vanna would have thought with all the different Metal chassis John got to 'break in', maybe would have been enough for him. She looked at Allison and decided not to comment. They liked to look at all the females too.
It made Vanna wonder about something. She'd never been with a male without the use of threat of force. If she was with John, it would really be her 'first time' where she willingly was touched by a male.
She knew Allison couldn't make the same claim since she'd tried 'breeding sex' a few times to try to get pregnant. Allison was on her knees and those lasted from about twenty seconds to less than two minutes. None of them worked. Allison never ended up pregnant and those guys all got lucky, real lucky.
"…to go?" Allison asked.
Vanna looked at her and smiled. She realized she'd been inattentive. It seemed to be happening to all of them.
"It would be fine." Vanna said.
Allison looked at Vanna for a moment.
"I asked if you were going to finish your dessert or were you ready to go?" Allison asked again.
Vanna looked at John and then at Allison.
"I'm ready." Vanna said.
Allison reached over and Vanna's dessert. She finished the rest of Vanna's hazelnut soufflé.
"There's no need to let it go to waste, when it can go to my waist instead." Allison said.
Vanna and Allison both giggled.
Cameron saw they were ready to hit the main theater.
They were done again before all the other diners because of their priority status in food service.
John was worried because Cameron and Allison looked almost identical.
"Maybe we should go out through the kitchen entrance." John said. "I don't want any lookiloos."
Cameron saw it just the opposite. She wanted everyone to see them in all of their beauty and elegance. Allison and Vanna were beautiful and so were the Metal girls. Beauty was beauty in any form.
"We're good." Cameron said. "Let them all see what true beauty looks like."
Cameron placed Vanna and Allison arm in arm. She wanted 'her girls' on display and their true beauty to be known.
"You two lead." Cameron said.
Vanna and Allison were proud to show their love.
Cameron and John walked behind them arm in arm.
Holly and Gail-Cam did the same.
They exited the dining room amid the looks and double and triple takes.
Those were the looks Cameron liked to see. People needed to reaffirm what they saw and they were as beautiful as they thought they were.
Allison led the group towards the bank of elevators.
"It's time for the 'magic elevator'." Allison said.
As they approached the elevator, the doors opened for them. The group of six entered.
Allison wished all the elevators worked like this.
Hanna and Cam-Gail received word the group was headed for the main theater.
Cam-Gail was anxious to see the show. She wondered which location they would need to go to.
"Are they going to the front row or the private boxes?" Cam-Gail asked.
Hanna thought they were fine where they were at.
"I don't know." Hanna said. "Do you want to go?"
Cam-Gail wanted to hear the singer finish her song. She said it was her last one for the venue. She would return and be in the atrium on deck five in two hours.
"We can after she finishes her last song." Cam-Gail said. "I don't want to be rude."
Savannah always told her it was impolite to be rude.
As soon as she was done, Cam-Gail and Hanna clapped and thanked her. They only had a short way to go to reach the main entrance of the theater.
They received confirmation from Jim that Cameron's group was going to sit in the front row.
"It looks like it is the private box for us." Hanna said.
Cam-Gail looked at Hanna and smiled.
"I have a private box for you." Cam-Gail said.
Hanna liked the idea. She wanted to play around a little bit.
"I can make it a 'munch box'." Hanna said.
Cam-Gail smiled. She was ready to experience as much as possible.
"I was hoping you would say so." Cam-Gail said. "I want to try out everything in this chassis."
Hanna would be more than happy to accommodate her.
"Your wish is my command." Hanna said.
Hanna winked at Cam-Gail.
"Now you're just teasing me." Cam-Gail said.
Hanna thought Gail acted more like the rest of the Metal girls in Cam's chassis. It was much more so than she did in her own chassis. She actually seemed more vibrant and 'alive'. Maybe it was because it was something 'new'. Maybe it was because she could be someone 'different'.
To be someone 'different' seemed to be something everyone thought about at times. The sad reality for most people was they never could be. Even when the Metal girls switched chips with another chassis, were they really someone different? The only difference really was they looked different. Since it was the same chip, they were really the same individual.
Sheila entered the poker game and cleaned everyone out in a very short time.
Ally was with her. She could see everyone looked a little less than thrilled.
"I think our welcome is just about done here." Ally said.
Sheila didn't see it as a big deal.
"They were a bunch of wankers." Sheila said. "It didn't take long to put them out of their misery."
Ally looked around.
"Where did Bob go?" Ally asked.
Sheila figured he went to get a pair of Coltan handcuffs for her.
"I don't know." Sheila said.
They both received a transmission from Jim. Cameron's group was going to sit in the front row of the main theater.
Ally would rather be elsewhere than the casino.
"Do you want to go?" Ally asked.
Sheila was worried about where Bob was.
"Maybe we should crack the whip and get out of here." Sheila said.
Ally knew she would need to go to the private box. She knew she couldn't sit in the front row.
"I guess I'll have to sit in the private box." Ally said.
Sheila looked at Ally and smiled.
"Love, you sit on your private box." Sheila said.
Ally liked the pun. She wanted to give Sheila a dig.
"It's more than I can say about you." Ally said. "There's nothing private about your box."
Sheila smiled as they walked.
"It's not just there for looks." Sheila said. "What good is it if you don't use it?"
Ally thought it sounded about right for Sheila.
"Maybe I can look into it when we get to the private box." Ally said.
Sheila touched Ally's behind.
"You know I always look into it, especially if it's a private box." Sheila said.
Ally knew Sheila always spent a lot of time touching and just looking down there. It always made her a little self conscious sometimes. There was never anything different down there. Everything was always the same.
"That's a fact." Ally said.
Sheila smiled at Ally.
"I like to see what I'm eating." Sheila said.
Sheila looked around and then stuck her hand inside the slit in Ally's dress.
"Now you have my attention." Ally said.
Ally hoped for some action with Sheila.
"Maybe you can do it before Cameron uses my chassis." Ally said.
Sheila looked Ally in her eyes.
"I plan to do it before and after Cameron uses your chassis." Sheila said.
Ally wondered about the before and after differences.
"I guess everyone will be munching on my box tonight." Ally said.
It sounded like fun to Sheila.
"I can guarantee one munch box 'coming up'." Sheila said.
Ally looked forward to the night for several reasons at this point.
"It's the way I like it." Ally said.
She was still a little apprehensive but she was ready for tonight. What could it hurt in the long run? If she didn't like the file she received from Cameron, she could always delete and erase it. Everything would still be the 'same' for her. She would still be a 'virgin'. It was just her chassis which wouldn't be. Either way, she still would want her 'one time' on her own. It's what all the other Metal girls were promised. She wanted the same opportunity.
Claire finished up with Jesse and went to check on Summer.
She could hear them before she found them.
She stayed outside the room they were in and listened to them work together. Summer was very encouraging and instructed Jan what to do and how to do it. She was very proud of her daughter.
Maybe Summer was her 'only daughter' at this point. She was well aware Cameron would push her agenda for Her Allison.
Summer glanced over towards the door.
"How long are you going to wait outside, Mom?" Summer asked.
Claire looked around. How did Summer know she was out there?
She entered the room.
"I was just enjoying the music." Claire said.
Summer stood alongside of Jan.
"Here I thought you were checking up on me." Summer said.
Claire wondered why she thought that. She was pretty sure there was a lot of 'checking up' by everyone, especially when they were in the bedroom.
"I think you check up on me more than I do on you." Claire said.
Summer smiled.
"You never know who's watching." Summer said.
Jan wanted Claire to work with her too.
"Can you show me some things too, Claire?" Jan asked.
Claire didn't think she could show her much more than Summer already did.
"I suppose I could." Claire said.
Claire sat down next to Jan.
Summer still stood and watched. Her mother was very classical in her music and approach to it. Every little bit helped. Everyone may have a different style.
Her mother wanted certain things done in specific ways. She was a little more flexible in her approach and application. She didn't think anything needed to be written in stone.
Derek left Riley and Precious with Samantha.
He was surprised at how much Samantha's appearance changed in the last few days. He thought she looked almost identical to Claire. He was unaware of her recent sexual freedom.
Derek headed for the Command Center.
It looked like John Henry was waiting for him as he entered.
"Hello, Derek." John Henry said.
Derek wanted to get down to business.
"Hi. I guess you know why I'm here." Derek said.
John Henry nodded. He had a pretty good idea. It was usually the same thing Derek always wanted.
"You want a target." John Henry said.
Derek looked around to make sure no one heard what he said. He didn't want any negative feedback. There was no one around.
"I need to get back in the game." Derek said. "It's just an expression."
Derek figured he'd better add the last part before John Henry told him it wasn't a game.
John Henry was a little concerned about the lack of available Terminators. There were a number of them tied up on the ship and in support duties of the ship. Most of the other available Terminators were concentrated at the location where Steve's team was located.
"I understand." John Henry said. "We're low on Terminators right now."
Derek knew he needed to have a Terminator escort, even for a recon or surveillance.
"I know the rules." Derek said.
Derek knew there were a lot of Terminators tied up with the ship.
John Henry didn't see how Derek could go out on an operation without any available Terminators.
"I have nothing for you." John Henry said.
Derek knew there were other Terminators.
"There must be someone who is free right now." Derek said. "What about Cameron's Terminators?"
Derek was always told when he would encounter one of them if they were on an operation. They didn't want him to get 'trigger happy' and accidentally engage one of them. To him they looked like the Terminators from his future. He only saw them 'change' when Savannah was around them. They all seemed 'happy' to see her.
John Henry knew there was other activity going on in the background with CamNet. Even as it was, she was able to spare several of her Terminators to assist.
"Steve and three more of our Terminators are sitting on a target now." John Henry said. "Two teams of two of Cameron's Terminators are backing them up."
Derek thought it sounded serious.
"That's a lot of Terminators for sitting on something." Derek said. "There must be something big about to happen there."
John Henry wanted it to be a little darker before he sent the drones in lower.
"I was about to conduct some lower level drone scans." John Henry said. "We need to know more about what's going on around the area."
Derek wanted to hear more. It sounded to him as if it could turn into a major operation.
"Give me a run down on what we have so far." Derek said.
John Henry filled him in and got him up to speed. It seemed like a definite hit, even if they weren't a hundred percent sure of the group involved.
"It may or may not be the anti-Metal faction." Derek said. "They're always trouble."
John Henry thought every group was trouble. He hoped to gain some more information in a short time.
"Anything Skynet related is trouble." John Henry said. "I'm going to do the drone scans soon."
Derek wanted to know more.
"Maybe I'll wait around a little and see what develops." Derek said.
John Henry indicated John's seat.
"Make yourself comfortable." John Henry said.
Derek did. He really felt the need to do a little more. He didn't want his time on the ship to soften him. The last thought almost made him laugh. On the ship with the blue pills, he was anything but 'soft' for most of the trip. He hoped things would return somewhat back to normal since they were back at the base. He really needed a vacation from his vacation.
Jesse went to see Precious.
The door opened as she approached. Samantha let her in.
Riley was in the background holding Precious.
"You're early." Samantha said.
Jesse shrugged her shoulders.
"It's better to be early than late." Jesse said.
Jesse hoped to see Samantha acknowledge their earlier involvement but she didn't.
Samantha saw the way Jesse looked at her. She checked to make sure Riley was still across the room.
"My restrictions are back in place." Samantha said quietly.
Jesse opened her top.
"Mine aren't." Jesse said. "I have plenty for everyone."
Samantha suppressed a smile. It just seemed to pop up when Jesse made her statement. It was a very open ended statement.
Cameron bypassed the main entrance on deck seven to the theater. They went across deck six and through the casino instead.
Allison looked around at all the machines with ringing bells and flashing lights. Some even looked like they were 'playing themselves'. Gambling wasn't her cup of tea. To see everything in action seemed to change the atmosphere somewhat. Maybe she could 'play' for a while. It's not like it would be real money anyway.
"Can we play in here?" Allison asked.
Cameron didn't have time right now to show them.
"Yes." Camerons said. "Your card key has unlimited funds on it."
Allison was intrigued by the casino being 'alive' right now as opposed to earlier.
"I've never really played in a casino." Allison said.
Vanna took Allison's arm to move her along. She didn't want Allison to get sidetracked.
"You haven't missed much." Vanna said.
John wondered if Vanna played in one before. When he was in Las Vegas, he didn't really have the time to do much of any gambling there. In fact, the whole thing was one bad episode. He did almost hit the jackpot with both Cammy and Savannah though. He'd scored big on Cameron too.
"Have you been in a casino before?" John asked.
Vanna had been before. She remembered some place in the desert with a strange name.
"We stopped at some 'Indian casino' in the desert once. I believe it was when we went to Hadley's and tried the date shakes." Vanna said. "I think it was near a place called Amazon. Wait, no, it was Cabazon."
John knew the place. He didn't get out much, but he'd been through there. Whenever someone was on Interstate 10, they needed to pass by it. There weren't a whole lot of alternative routes around the area. It was on the route to Arizona, or the route to Palm Springs. He did know about Hadley's though.
"I like the date-banana shake they have there." John said. "It's a little smoother and less intense than the pure date shake."
Vanna remembered something out of place very near there.
"I remember there were a couple of big dinosaurs around there too." Vanna said. "I think it was some kind of shop or something."
John nodded.
"That's the place." John said.
Cameron looked around and didn't see Sheila in the casino. She'd expected to see her.
Allison stopped and lingered at some of the machines.
Vanna still held her arm.
"Not now." Vanna said. "We can come back after the show."
Vanna saw Allison look back before they needed to move to the hallway on the side.
Cameron moved the group along. They went past the entrance to their private boxes.
"These are where our private boxes are." Cameron said. "Do you want to look real quick?"
Vanna thought they could see what the difference really looked like.
"I guess we could since we're here." Vanna said.
Cameron wanted to make it fast. The show was about to start in a few minutes. She looked at John, Holly and Gail-Cam.
"Wait here for a minute." Cameron said.
She opened the door and led Vanna and Allison down the narrow hall. She opened the door to the Owner's Suite's private box. Sheila and Ally were in there. They were kissing each other.
"I'm sorry." Cameron said.
Sheila pulled her dress down on one side and exposed a breast.
"There's more than one show to watch." Sheila said. "I've got something for everyone."
Ally pulled her dress back down over her legs and covered herself up.
"I'm just getting my chassis warmed up for later on." Ally said.
Vanna didn't want to intrude. She wanted to watch the stage show.
"We get the idea." Vanna said. "Let's go down."
It was where Sheila had been headed.
"Now you're talking." Sheila said. "I plan to."
Cameron turned around and walked out. Vanna and Allison followed.
"There is always room for one more." Sheila called out after them.
Cameron didn't want the girls to get sidetracked. They needed to get to their seats.
"I'm sorry about that." Cameron said.
Allison smiled at her.
"Girls will be girls." Allison said.
Vanna thought if the music sucked, the Metal girls had the entertainment covered. They could always 'come' back up there.
Tina climbed behind the wheel of the box truck and started it. She headed in the direction of the two individuals the drone currently tracked.
Lena sat on the floor of the truck between the Drone and the rear door. The female's head rested on her lap. She planned to scan her as she questioned her. The female soon awoke.
There was some momentary panic as the female awoke in the darkness.
Lena quickly explained the story she wanted her to hear. She explained she'd been on her way to visit a fast food restaurant and look in the trash cans for something to eat. Two men approached her and grabbed her. They drug her to the back of the truck and put her inside. She told the female she was already there when they closed the door.
The female told her the same thing happened to her. She said they had her for two days and she'd been abused dozens of times. She didn't even know how many it was. It had been many times. She was aware of at least twelve different men. All of them were very mean and cruel. She'd stopped resisting after the first day when she realized she wouldn't be able to free herself. She indicated she was in quite a bit of pain.
Lena wanted to act concerned.
"Is that what they're going to do to me?" Lena asked.
The female sat up.
"I'm surprised they haven't already." The female said. "They started in on me as soon as I was in the back of a van."
Lena understood what life was like around the homeless camps. She wanted to voice her concern.
"Life isn't fair." Lena said.
Lena heard the female sob.
"I know it's something which happens a few times a week in the camps. It's just part of being out on the street." The female said. "The most I'd ever been taken before was by a street gang. There were seven of them. They all went at least twice. They all had weapons. They had guns and knives. I did whatever they wanted to me to do."
Lena wanted to seem worried about her.
"How did you get away?" Lena asked
Lena continued to scan the female's hand as she talked. So far she's been truthful in everything she'd told her.
"They threw me in a dumpster. I was naked." The female said. "They told me I was a piece of trash."
Lena went on to question the female about anything she may have heard while she was in captivity at the Skynet facility.
"They wanted to know if I was working with some kind of crazy group." The female said.
The mention of a 'crazy group' immediately got Lena's attention.
"What kind of a crazy group?" Lena asked.
The truck went over a few bumps. It reminded both of them where they were actually at.
"From what they described, it sounded like it was some type of robot god." The female said.
Lena believed it was a reference to SkyMaster.
"It sounds to me more like they were the crazy group." Lena said. "Everyone knows there is no such thing."
Tina monitored the conversation through Lena's com. She communicated with CamNet about what she wanted done. It was decided they would release the female near a medical facility. It would be up to her if she sought treatment or not. She didn't think her story would go very far with the authorities. They wouldn't believe her anymore than Sarah was believed.
The truck slowed and then stopped. The engine turned off.
Lena could feel the fear surge through the female.
"What's going to happen?" The female asked.
They could hear the sound of two men talking.
It was actually Tina who emulated both of the 'men'.
"Are you going to kill them?" The first man asked.
"Would it matter to any one?" The second man asked.
"I guess it wouldn't." The first man said. "We should at least keep the second one. We haven't got to try her out yet."
"Don't worry, she'll get 'tried out' plenty." The second man said.
"Are you going to use your knife or your gun on her?" The first man asked. "You're not going to strangle her are you?"
"I'll leave it up to you." The second man said. "It's time you got your hands dirty."
They could here movement outside the back door of the truck.
"If they're both still unconscious, I just want to dump her." The first man said.
"If she's not unconscious, you know what you need to do." The second man said.
"I'll use my gun." The first man said.
Lena moved her lips next to the female's ear.
"You need to act like you're still out." Lena said. "It will probably save your life. Let me put your blindfold back on. Don't look until you hear the truck drive away."
She could feel the female shake with fear.
"I can try." The female said. "What about you?"
Lena thought of a good terminal story to tell.
"I have HIV. I don't have long anyway." Lena said. "I plan to take all of them with me. It just may take a while. Here's something for you. They didn't search me. Go back home if you can. Forget about me."
Lena put something in her pocket.
They could hear the metallic noise of the rear latch.
Lena felt the female go limp. The rear door opened.
"She's still out." The first man said.
"Throw her in the dumpster." The second man said. "She's a piece of trash anyway."
Tina reached in the back of the truck and picked up the female. She carried her over to a dumpster next to the truck and gently laid her inside. She closed the lid.
Lena hopped out of the back of the truck and pulled down the roll up door. She latched it. The two female Terminators quickly got back inside of the truck and drove away.
The female waited a few moments before she dared to lift her head. She could hear the truck drive away. She carefully lifted the lid on the dumpster and looked out. There was no sign of the truck. She climbed out of the dumpster and looked around. She figured she should get away from there as soon as possible. They might come back.
She could see there was an urgent care center down the street when she made her way out of the alley. She looked at the clothes she wore in the dim light. She didn't know where the clothes came from. She felt something in one of the pockets. It was what the other female gave her. She reached in and pulled it out. It was several hundred dollar bills. She quickly counted them. There was eight hundred dollars in cash. She hadn't seen so much money at one time in years.
She thought about what the other female told her. She told her to go home. After what happened maybe it was time. She needed to do something different with her life. She'd almost died tonight.
She didn't have a description of the truck to give to the police if she went to them. She didn't want them to take the money from her if she went there. They more than likely would search her. If she told her story they would think she was the crazy one. She really hoped the other female could infect all of them with HIV so they would die.
It was time to move her life forward. Going forward meant not looking backwards.
Moments ago:
Tina looked in the rear view mirror as she drove away.
"She didn't look out of the dumpster." Tina said as she made the turn.
Lena hoped for the best.
"I hope she tries to reconnect with her family." Lena said.
Tina was worried about something else.
"I didn't care for her reference to SkyMaster." Tina said.
Lena thought about it.
"I don't believe they were referring to the female Fanatic we're tracking." Lena said.
Tina didn't think so either.
"I'm sure there are several cells out there." Tina said. "Each one is as dangerous as the next."
CamNet's Terminators continued to close up on the female Fanatic and the Gray as they headed towards what appeared to be a new destination.
The female Fanatic stayed behind the van. From her elevated height, she had a good view of the traffic ahead of her. She tried to keep the van within one or two signals. She didn't want it to get more than two signals ahead of her or she didn't want to get closer than one signal to it.
She knew there were a few more locations she wanted to visit. She didn't know what was at any of them. So far every location she knew about from her earlier intelligence gathering had proven to be Skynet related.
The van didn't take any evasive action. Normally to help spot a tail, a series of turns would usually expose one rather quickly. The van driver continued along as if nothing had happened. The Gray driving it was currently in a stolen vehicle. It was probably one of the reasons why he didn't want to attract any unnecessary attention.
She hoped to be able to return to the location where the Gray abandoned the truck. There was probably a pretty good indication, once the Gray reached his destination, someone would attempt to go back and retrieve it. They would need another truck if it actually carried something. She really wished she could have gotten a look in the back of it. It made her wonder if the truck was empty or not. There was no indication the Gray checked what it was in the back of it, when he'd abandoned it and stole the van earlier.
From what she was able to see of the truck as it turned out of the neighboring building and onto the street, it appeared to be in poor shape. It's possible the Gray was injured.
She glanced back through the rear window at the two drums of chemicals. She touched the Thermite grenade on the seat next to her. She planned to attack the next location she encountered with a chemical bomb. The chemicals seemed to have started a pretty good fire at the last building she'd been inside of. She figured they would do the same at the next location. With the Thermite grenade as a detonator, it should really get things going quickly.
A horn blared next to her. Her head quickly popped back up. She must have drifted off a little. She still had half a package of the anti drowsy medication. She took a couple more out. She was grateful to find the MRE packets and the water behind the seat.
She took the medication along with a sip of water. Earlier, she'd placed one of the MRE packets under her thigh as she drove. She pulled it out now from under her leg. She opened it up and began to consume the contents by squeezing it out of the packet into her mouth.
She was aware she needed a good meal and a lot more liquid. There hadn't been time to stop for either. She still had pockets full of cash. She finished the MRE packet and dropped it down onto the floor on the passenger side. She drank some more of the water. She still kept half of the bottle. She didn't know when she'd be able to get some more. She decided to go ahead and consume the other MRE packet as well. She'd lost too much stuff along the way. She figured if she had it, she might as well use it. She took another sip of water when she finished.
She felt a little more refreshed now. The last thing she needed was to get pulled over for reckless driving with a stolen vehicle. She didn't want to lose the two drums of chemicals or the Thermite grenade.
If she was stopped by the police she would need to kill them. It wasn't the first time she'd experienced a close one with them.
The brown van up ahead signaled for a right hand turn. She wondered if they were close to the destination. She wasn't sure if it was on her target list or not. She actually hoped it was a new location. The other ones she already had targeted weren't going anywhere. If she could uncover a new location it would be even better. She planned to use her bomb as soon as she could against it. She would probably need to do a little recon first.
The phone she currently looked at indicated the route the van was about to take would lead up to the foothills. It sure seems like another Skynet location to her. Skynet liked to burrow itself deep into the terrain. The foothills were always a good place to start. If she could bring down the location wherever the van arrived at, she might take a few hours time out to rest.
There were several approaches to the area she could use. She took her time to make the turn. It was much darker now. As the front end of the stake side truck started to go around the corner, she didn't see any traffic approaching. She quickly turned off her headlights and completed the turn. She could see the taillights of the van up ahead. She didn't want to advertise he was being followed.
The satellite map indicated there were three possible destinations. She also needed to consider more than one of them might be Skynet controlled. She hoped to stash the stake side truck and do some reconnaissance on foot. She didn't want to be seen driving up and down the streets around the area, especially since she was driving one of their trucks.
The only point in time she wanted them to recognize it as one of their trucks, would be when she approached the area on her target run. It may give her a few extra moments to avoid gunfire before they realized the truck was now a threat.
The female Fanatic watched the van make a left hand turn further up ahead. It narrowed the three choices down to one as to where it was headed. She would need to stash the van for now and proceed on foot.
Munch Box
When one looks deeper
What do they actually want
Do they ever really care
Who they confront or affront
It seems by human nature
People can be quite cruel
Few practice what they preach
The life they live is dual
Things start out fine and dandy
Everyone wants to have a honey
It often centers around sex
Soon enough it's all about money
Many soon begin to drift
Each new day widens the rift
It's not slow but swift
They discard their gift
To see where one is
Isn't too much of a paradox
Whether it's a mind or whatever
It's really a munch box
Nobody
