Chapter 1343

Your Cheating Heart

John Henry looked at the new drone scan. It appeared several more figures were now present in the south building. They were in a corner of the building and were missed by the first drone scan. They could have just came out of a shielded area or from below ground level. Both of those were a real possibility when dealing with individuals from the future.

It appeared the two figures who'd been together, were now separated. One was still in the same place but the other moved away. The other two figures came towards the unmoving figure.

They lost the drone image but it returned quickly as the drone moved to stay over the target area.

"I make it at four targets in each building." Derek said.

John Henry thought it was correct for what they could see. It was what they couldn't see, or know about, which would cause them the most worry.

"Currently I agree." John Henry said. "There may be more wherever those other figures came out of or from. There could be people in shielded areas too."

Summer received a transmission from CamNet.

"I need to go." Summer said. "My mother is looking for me. She doesn't like me doing this."

Derek looked around and wondered how she knew it. He didn't see anything on the monitors.

Summer excused herself and left.

Derek wanted to know more.

"How does she know her mother's looking for her?" Derek asked.

John Henry could only speculate.

"CamNet may have warned her." John Henry said. "I'm not sure it was because her mother was about to look for her. It may have been."

Derek was surprised to hear Summer was in contact with CamNet.

"Is it something she does all the time?" Derek asked.

John Henry didn't have a definitive answer. He speculated it was because of a different issue.

"I really don't know." John Henry said. "I think CamNet wanted to shield her."

Derek wondered what he meant. Everything related to the future was violent and ugly.

"What did CamNet shield her from?" Derek asked.

John Henry indicated the drone scan.

The two new figures approached the two who were previously together. One of the new arrivals appeared to move on top of the first figure which hadn't moved.

"From what's happening there, I believe." John Henry said.

Derek caught the drift right away. He was aware of similar situations. Most of them were in the future.

"Someone is having multiple sex partners or is being abused." Derek said.

John Henry noted the lack of movement on the stationary figure.

"Apparently…." John Henry said. "I think it's the latter.

The images they viewed were very vague and lacked any detail.

"Are you going to launch a rescue operation?" Derek asked.

It seemed outside the mission parameters right now to John Henry.

"No." John Henry said. "It's collateral damage at this point. We don't know what it is either."

It didn't sit well with Derek. He really wanted in on the operation. There were a few individuals he would like to personally get acquainted with. The disrespect of females was prevalent in the future. It happened in the Resistance too. Some people got too close to the edge and reverted back to the 'animal' in humans. Grays were worse and Scavengers were the worst of all.

From what he'd witnessed, it always seemed when someone began to lose hope, the animal instincts in them began to become dominant. He'd heard stories about how in some of the work camps, the Resistance males were just as violent and abusive as the Grays and captured Scavengers were. When people realized the only way out was death, nothing else mattered.

Cameron watched Allison and Vanna clap at the end of the first song. It seemed they really enjoyed being there. She knew they were going to like the 'British Invasion' performance even better. It was more than just singing for the big performance. It was an entire stage show.

'Your Cheating Heart' by 'Hank Williams' was the next song.

She was a little surprised at the message of the song which followed the first one. She quickly looked over at John. He didn't notice. It made her think of Future Riley. As she listened to the song, she could see it was a lot like some of her poems in its message. She would later research other country western songs and find many with a similar message of pain and anguish. It bothered her a little. People should be happy and not depressed.

Cameron visually scanned around her. She saw Gail-Cam and Holly did as well. There was almost zero threat in their current environment. She still needed to check anyway. She looked back up to the private boxes. The one way glass was still up on the one Sheila and Ally were in. She really hoped Sheila didn't do anything to stretch Ally out anywhere. She hoped to provide John with a good experience on her 'first time' when she took control of Ally's chassis.

She looked to the next box and could see Hanna and Cam-Gail there. They both seemed to enjoy watching the show. She noticed Hanna looked at Cam-Gail a lot. No doubt she wanted a little more.

The song ended and the crowd clapped.

'Cold Cold Heart' by 'Hank Williams' was the next song.

It was as somber as the previous song. It appeared Hank Williams must have experienced some bad luck with females. It sure seemed like it. Now he really reminded her of her poems. She glanced at John and he looked at her but quickly looked away.

John was a little uneasy with the messages all the songs seemed to send. He wondered if Cameron was involved with their selection somehow. He wouldn't put it past her. He didn't want to think about his past transgressions. He knew it was something Cameron always thought about. She never let anything go. He certainly hoped the songs would become a little more upbeat than the last two were. Maybe they were a little too close to home.

Vanna listened to the music and could identify with the songs. There were times in the past, the future, when Allison stepped out on her. Their relationship was always open so they were free to be with 'anyone'. It was something she often did herself. There were always abused females who needed comfort and to be shown they were still someone beautiful, even if some things were now 'gone'. She always shared with them no matter how they were. Allison usually didn't share with the abused strangers. Sometimes she found someone 'new' and tried to see how different life could be. It always hurt her. In the end Allison always came back. Everything went on like it was before.

She didn't care for the encounters Allison experienced with men to try to get pregnant. Allison never told her when she did it, but she always knew. Once she was 'saved' by Allison and the Reese brothers from the 'burn pile', no male ever touched her again. The thought of being touched by a male made her physically ill. John was the only male she would ever allow to touch her again. It was because she loved Cameron and John.

Vanna looked over and watched John as he looked at the singer on the stage. Gail-Cam noticed and so did Holly. It looked like Allison and Cameron on the far end missed it. Cameron looked back off to the side somewhere.

Cam-Gail was fascinated by the 'pain' in the last two songs. She thought they were right up Cameron's alley. They reminded her of Cameron's poems.

Hanna still looked at her every now and then. It was clear she wanted some action. She wanted to try out as many of the females as possible with Cam's chassis as long as she was in it. It would happen later on tonight. If she was lucky, Cameron would ask to use her temporary chassis again.

She looked over at Hanna and touched her knee. Hanna urged her hand higher.

There was no reason they couldn't do a couple of things at the same time.

Sheila could feel herself going wild on Ally. She couldn't resist. She wanted to head back to one of the rooms so she could do everything better. At the rate they were going, they would be on the floor in a few minutes. They needed the extra room.

She didn't know if it was the tone of the songs or not.

It excited her to think about being with Ally after Cameron used her chassis and gave Ally's virginity to John.

She increased what she was doing to Ally right now. She knew Ally was about to finish.

She decided once Ally made it, they would head back to her room. The thought of using the floor didn't appeal to her. There were plenty of beds available.

The girls left the Munch Box behind. They were in the SUV. They all looked at their phones and observed the drone scans.

Savannah didn't like what she viewed. She looked up from her phone. It seemed her personal time was over for the night. She was glad she was able to spend some quality time with Young Allison. She needed to tell it like it was.

"I think the movie is out." Savannah said. "Cammy and I are going to back up the operation."

Young Allison knew what it meant. She was going back to Palmdale.

"Take Brian and Randy with you." Young Allison said. "It will still leave Mel and Anna with me."

Savannah didn't want to take away Young Allison's protection.

"I need you to be protected when you return home." Savannah said.

Young Allison didn't give up easily. She wanted to make her position clear. She intended to carry out her plan.

"I'm going to send them after you anyway." Young Allison said. "I don't want to make a big deal about it."

Savannah knew it was probably exactly what Young Allison would do too.

"I'll think about it." Savannah said.

Young Allison didn't care for her answer. She didn't want Savannah to close her mind. She wanted to give her a subtle reminder.

"Sometimes it's nice to have help." Young Allison said.

Savannah nodded.

There was something which bothered Young Allison about the second drone scan. It made her think about the recent encounter and danger Savannah and Cammy faced.

"The last two figures in the south building weren't there on the first pass of the drone." Young Allison said. "What if there's another portal here?"

Cammy and Savannah looked at each other. It was a close one for them when they'd encountered the last one. It was also a scary thought for Savannah. She checked again with John Henry on energy usage at either building but nothing out of the ordinary showed up.

She was a little worried with the 'message' they'd left for whoever was on the other side of the portal. It wasn't a welcome. Most likely when the group was encountered again, there would be a few issues.

Savannah glanced back and there was an SUV behind them. It was a new one. Mel was driving. A second SUV pulled up in front of them. It was Brian and Randy. It appeared Young Allison already enacted her plan.

"I can see you didn't wait for me to think about it." Savannah said.

Young Allison saw it differently.

"What's there to think about your safety?" Young Allison asked. "I'm going back to a bunker. You're not."

Savannah understood Young Allison's concern. It made sense but it was a circumvention as to why they were on Young Allison's Detail in the first place.

"Thanks." Savannah said. "We are just going to be back up in case it gets too involved or there's a breakaway."

Young Allison thought both of those sounded pretty extreme. She checked her phone.

"You'll have plenty of drone support too." Young Allison said.

Savannah looked at her phone.

"I can see that." Savannah said. "There's one drone for every Terminator."

Cammy tried to stay out of the conversation. She could see it caused a lot of tension between Savannah and Young Allison. It was the girls trying to watch out for the other one at a risk to their own safety.

Anna didn't want to cause a problem. She checked her phone and saw 'Coltan Overcast' and 'Cherry Bomb' were there too. They wanted to back up Savannah.

"We need to go." Cammy said.

Young Allison and Savannah looked at each other.

They hugged each other firmly. Savannah kissed Young Allison on the cheek.

Young Allison and Anna got out of the SUV and Savannah moved up to the front with Cammy. Savannah rolled down the window and Young Allison touched her arm.

Cammy slowly drove off. She couldn't help but notice the love the two girls displayed for each other. It was pure emotional love without any physical aspect. It was love she wouldn't be able to compete with. Young Allison may win on the emotional front, but she knew she would always be better in bed. She wondered if she'd better up her game and make sure Savannah always finished with a spectacular finish.

She also needed to remember there was more than just the physical aspect of it. It was one of the reasons why all the human females wanted to be with Savannah whenever they could. There was always more than just sex to be shared.

Brian and Randy pulled away from the curb and followed them.

Anna got in the back seat so Young Allison could sit in the front with Mel.

Young Allison instead got in the back with Anna.

Anna appreciated it.

Mel pulled away from the curb. He glanced back at Young Allison.

"Where are we going?" Mel asked.

Anna wondered why he asked the question. She thought it was self evident.

"We're going back to Palmdale." Anna said.

Mel didn't say anything. He didn't think so. He knew how Young Allison operated. He was sure he was about to receive different instructions.

Anna looked at Young Allison. She worked frantically on her tablet. She hadn't seen it out earlier. It was clear Young Allison planned to act.

Young Allison made her own plans. She understood what was necessary, even if the others didn't. She glanced at Anna after her statement they were headed for Palmdale.

"Hardly…." Young Allison said. "We're going to back up Savannah and Cammy."

Anna figured Savannah would think the same thing.

"Savannah will know, or at least suspect it." Anna said.

Young Allison told Anna and Mel the new plan. She asked CamNet to have a drone simulate their SUV with their phone and com tracking signals. It was to fly a route and maintain a speed their SUV would take to get back to Palmdale. Everything in their SUV would go dark for now. They were invisible to any tracking other than CamNet.

Anna saw it as outright deception. She knew it wouldn't go over well when it was exposed. It surely would be at some point.

"I don't think this is a wise decision." Anna said.

Young Allison looked at her. Her mind was made up.

"Maybe not, but you know I'm still going to do it anyway." Young Allison said.

Anna wanted Young Allison to think everything through. They just couldn't show up blindly without some type of plan.

"It may backfire on you. What weapons do we have?" Anna asked.

Young Allison moved into the back seat and looked in the back.

"We have an M82A1 and three M4 carbines with an M203 on each of them." Young Allison said.

Young Allison handed over an M4 for Anna and Mel and a vest for each of them as well. She put one on for herself. She carefully moved the M82A1 up to hand to Anna. It was heavy. She needed to use both hands and strain a little to move it.

Anna thought there could have been a better disbursement of weapons. She didn't think things were planned through enough.

"This is firepower Brian and Randy could have used." Anna said.

She took the M82A1 from Young Allison with one hand.

Mel knew it was covered. He thought the initial procurement was rather odd. It was much different than normal. Right now it actually all made sense.

"We brought three of them with us. There's one for both Brian and Randy." Mel said. "It was on our stock sheet of items to add to the normal weapons complement. We stocked up on everything at the hanger."

Anna looked at Young Allison. It was clear Young Allison expected more to happen from the very beginning.

"I see someone planned ahead and tried to cover all the bases." Anna said.

Young Allison smiled.

"It never hurts to be prepared." Young Allison said. "We don't know what will happen."

Anna looked over the seat but couldn't see what else was in the back of the SUV.

"What else is back there?" Anna asked.

Young Allison gave her a faint smile. She'd asked for a number of items.

"Maybe a few other things we might need." Young Allison said.

Anna hoped they wouldn't need any of them. She knew there were other ways to track them.

"Do we have drone support?" Anna asked. "They will leave a signature John Henry can track."

Young Allison wanted to be off the grid.

"Only CamNet will know where we are. The drones on roving patrol will always be nearby but not directly over us." Young Allison said. "My original thought was to have CamNet mask them as well from him. You know it's something she can do. I wanted to let him know of their availability in case they were needed. He just doesn't know their true purpose."

Anna expected Young Allison to pull something, but not anything as elaborate as this.

"You are a sneaky one." Anna said. "When did you do all of this?"

Young Allison did most of it before they'd left to go to Van Nuys. She didn't want to get caught flat footed if anything developed.

"I started on it before we left." Young Allison said. "I've made modifications as the evening progressed."

Anna was still very dissatisfied. She believed Young Allison didn't act in good faith or the spirit of what Savannah wanted for her. She thought it was an important distinction. She believed it was worth mentioning.

"You know this is wrong and you're skating on thin ice." Anna said.

Young Allison wasn't about to back down. She believed everything she did was logical.

"It's all a precaution." Young Allison said. "I don't look forward to being shot at or even worse, hit. We have the time and the resources so we should maximize what we have. It's safer for everyone this way."

Anna didn't see it as 'safer' for Young Allison. She was still worried about another portal.

"What if there's a portal?" Anna asked. "There could be more of those."

Young Allison would do what she'd done before. This time she planned to make a 'statement'.

"I'll hit them hard this time if we find one." Young Allison said. "I don't believe there is. If we encounter one, we're pulling everyone back immediately. I'll deal with it personally."

Anna was pretty sure what it meant.

CamNet covered up what Young Allison did at the other location. Nobody knew how hard she was prepared to hit at the other location. After what almost happened to Cammy and Savannah, Young Allison was going to send a message to whoever it was to stay out of the past. CamNet would back her play. CamNet had access to the world's arsenals. There could be hundreds of cruise missiles take off and disappear into the night sky. They could all be sent into one of those portals to inflict massive damage. There would be a number of different warhead choices available.

Cammy drove towards the target location. Brian and Randy followed them.

Savannah looked over at Cammy. She wanted to point something out about Young Allison. She didn't have any proof yet, but she knew how things were going to play out.

"You know they aren't going back." Savannah said.

Cammy tilted her head slightly. She didn't know. It sounded to her as if everything had been resolved.

"They should." Cammy said. "We have this under control."

Savannah looked at her phone. She tried to find out what she could. She knew how Young Allison played any game.

"I know her." Savannah said. "She's going to pull a 'fast one'. I could tell. I can feel it."

Cammy didn't think there was much they could do about it. She felt Young Allison was ready now to take her place in the 'Natural Order'. She would prefer to see her move ahead of Savannah. She would rather have Young Allison be with John instead of Savannah. It always seems to be a contentious issue. She decided not to bring it up right now.

"If she does, she does." Cammy said. "She wants more field experience. There's no need to delay it any longer. "

Savannah didn't think an unknown combat situation was the way. She hoped there would be a little more control over the situation.

"Cameron will want to be with her when it's time." Savannah said.

Cammy knew Anna ran a copy of Cameron's program with the 'Neural Interface' from Savannah.

"In a way she is." Cammy said. "Anna is with her."

Savannah was aware 'Cameron', in any form, was likely to make questionable decisions at times. She knew it applied to everyone.

She checked her phone and it looked like the tracking for Young Allison was headed back to Palmdale. It showed them eastbound on the 118 Freeway. They would either take the short cut up Balboa Avenue to pick up the 14 off of Foothill Boulevard or stay on the 118 to the 405 and take it north to the 5 and then to the 14.

Savannah knew CamNet knew the truth. She didn't want to put CamNet in a bind or conflict. If something seemed critical, she would have to do it. It would depend on who gave an 'order' first to CamNet.

She contacted John Henry to coordinate with Steve and the three teams already there.

Derek wasn't thrilled to see Savannah and Cammy were going to respond to the current target location.

"This is what I was afraid of." Derek said. "Savannah is headed right for the impending fight."

John Henry didn't think Derek knew of all the action Savannah was in since John and Cameron left on the cruise.

"Savannah has seen a lot of action in the last few days." John Henry said.

Derek pictured himself 'living it up' on the ship while Savannah needed to get down and dirty. He simply didn't have a clue of what she'd been through. He wanted to know more.

"I bet." Derek said. "I'd like to take some of the heat off of her."

John Henry didn't think it was possible currently.

"We'll see." John Henry said.

There was a lull in anything happening right now. Derek hoped he could get John Henry to show him some footage of those missions. He decided to ask him.

"Can I see some of the operations they conducted?" Derek asked. "I know there should be images from drones and body cams. There should also be Terminator video files as well."

John Henry didn't see why not. He possessed all the raw data, drone footage, body cam footage and video files from Cam and Cammy. Some of Cam's files were blocked. He was about ready to show Derek what happened from the time Cammy and Savannah left the ship. CamNet told him to stand down. He thought it was the end of it.

He saw Kyle exit his room. He thought maybe it was better to change the subject.

"Kyle's out." John Henry said. "I think he's coming here."

It didn't surprise Derek. They'd spoke earlier about doing some recon or surveillance work. He actually figured he would have seen him earlier.

Kyle arrived in a minute. They all exchanged greetings.

Before Kyle could ask if John Henry was able to get anything lined up for them, a video file began to play on two monitors.

John Henry was more than a little surprised. He thought CamNet didn't want him to show Derek what happened. Now it was available for both Derek and Kyle to view. He could see CamNet compiled a condensed version of the events and showed them on two screens. They were split so there were four versions of the same story happening as viewed from the various recording devices. He thought it was a good overview on how to portray the same event from four different points of view simultaneously.

Kyle was a little surprised to see the action appear on the screens.

"What's this?" Kyle asked.

John Henry wanted to keep it simple. He could see CamNet based it around Savannah and what she was involved in.

"CamNet is going to show a quick overview of the operations which happened over the last few days." John Henry said.

Kyle didn't hear much about anything on the ship. He figured if they didn't hear about it on the ship, nothing significant must have happened.

"I hope there was nothing major." Kyle said. "We didn't hear much on the ship."

John Henry thought it was pretty standard in comparison to when Cameron was involved. It was always major.

"You were on vacation." John Henry said. "It was a typical set of operations for those involved. We ran into a few wrinkles and some new things."

Derek and Kyle wondered what was new. They thought they'd seen just about everything Skynet had to offer. They watched as the edited events played out.

In just a minute, Derek and Kyle were literally sitting on the edge of their seat as they watched the events unfold. There was a lot of major activity and Savannah was right in the middle of it.

John Henry viewed the events through his server while he concentrated on the current operation. He noticed the men traded places over the top of the one figure. It was the third one now to take the position. He really wondered what was happening in there. Maybe it was a captured female Terminator they were using. It was a common procedure in the future. She may have been reprogrammed as a 'Metal Whore'.

Since the one figure never seemed to change position, it was unlikely they were reprogrammed. They could be incapacitated and the chip modified so they couldn't move. If it was done that way, a captured Terminator would know what was happening, but be unable to do anything to prevent it. It could be a human female or maybe even a human male. The future was very brutal.

John Henry's thoughts were interrupted.

Derek and Kyle looked at the four screens with astonishment.

"This all happened while we were on the ship?" Derek asked.

John Henry was aware it was.

"Yes." John Henry said. "The events depicted there are all the last three nights."

Derek and Kyle were ashen as they watched.

"This was all major activity." Kyle said. "Savannah is right in the middle of everything."

John Henry didn't see it as anything different from what normally happened.

"Savannah wanted to run point for Cameron while she was on her honeymoon." John Henry said. "Cammy and Cam are usually with her. You already know they're both modified versions of Cameron."

Derek and Kyle were angry and disgusted at everything they saw. Savannah had her neck out on the line at every turn. They already saw several occasions where she could have been killed or seriously hurt. Several times she'd needed to fight for her life.

They continued to watch in silence. They both knew someone this involved in operations of this magnitude, soon ran out of luck. It didn't appear things would end well for Savannah.

Young Allison watched the same drone footage John Henry watched of the current operation. It was the one Savannah was headed into.

"I have a pretty good idea what's happening there." Young Allison said.

Anna watched it too.

"We can't know what is actually happening from the thermal and infrared scans of the buildings." Anna said.

Young Allison knew it could be true. It seemed pretty clear there was some type of sexual activity occurring.

"If it's a human female, and she's a captive, I want those three men captured." Young Allison said. "I want to know when Jesse has a break in her schedule."

Anna knew what was coming next. It wasn't going to happen. She needed to set some limits for Young Allison. She understood her need for vengeance was always close to the surface. It was something she needed to watch.

"They will be terminated." Anna said. "There's no other option open to you. That's final."

Young Allison didn't give up easily.

"We'll see." Young Allison said.

Young Allison didn't want justice. She wanted vengeance. She planned to have Jesse instruct her on the best ways to make the punishment administered as painful as possible. People needed to 'pay' for their actions before their termination. She didn't think a simple termination was good enough.

The female Fanatic made her way towards the rear of the target location. She only carried her knife, the Beretta and the Thermite grenade. It was time to see what Skynet was up to. She hoped to be able to uncover enough to use the two drums of chemicals in the back of the flatbed to bring the building down.

She looked at the back lot of the building as she approached. Not only was the brown van parked in the back, there were also several other vehicles. Two of them were white vans. She'd countered those on other occasions as well. It seemed a fleet of them were purchased. Maybe they weren't purchased. Maybe they were destined for another buyer and they were intercepted. It seemed more like the way Skynet would operate.

The other two vehicles were sedans.

She was halfway down the hillside from her position towards the rear fence of the property. She could see the area around her start to lighten. The moon was about to reappear. She felt rather exposed where she was at. She quickly laid down flat on the ground. She looked into the rear of the compound as she waited.

There appeared to be some type of movement in one of the sedans. The door opened on one of them. The dome light came on inside of the vehicle. She could see a man get out. She wondered if she'd been spotted.

She gripped her Beretta tightly in her right hand. If there was any indication he was going to shoot in her direction, she was going to shoot first. She already had an alternate spot worked out where she would move to once she fired. There were actually several alternate locations she'd spotted. She didn't plan to shoot from the same location more than once.

The man stood and closed the door. He walked up towards the rear of the building. She watched carefully how he gained entry. There were several doors located along the back. He moved to a smaller door. It was a regular door. He stayed there for a moment before he entered. She wasn't sure if he'd put in some type of a code or not. There was no way to tell in the dim light.

The clouds moved in front of the moon again. She quickly made her way down towards the rear fence. She reached it before the moon reappeared. It gave her a moment to listen. She could hear there was an argument going on inside of the building. It was impossible to make out the details. There were clearly several angry voices. She wondered if it was why the other man hesitated to go into the building at first. It was never a good thing to be the one who needed to deliver the bad news.

She looked around her as she waited. She saw several large stones. The fence shielded her from what was happening inside of the compound. She couldn't see them, they couldn't see her. She brought over several of the large stones, one at a time. She used two as the base and put the third one on top.

The arguing inside seemed to increase after the last man entered the building. She figured it was probably good for her. They'd all be looking at each other instead of paying attention to any surveillance equipment or what was happening around the perimeter.

The clouds were almost to the moon again. She was ready to move. As soon as it darkened, she was over the fence. She landed on the other side in a crouch. The Beretta was in her hand again.

She advanced up to the vehicles. She looked in each one to make sure no one else was in any of them. They were all unoccupied. She moved around to the front of the one the man got out of. She could feel heat come off from the radiator. He must have arrived after the brown van had arrived. He could have come from a different location as well. She hadn't seen anyone behind her. It did take her some time to reach her current location on foot from where the stake side truck was parked.

She checked each of the doors in the back of the building. The first one was a wide double door. It was locked from the inside. She moved to the next door. It was the door the man entered in to the building. It was locked as well. There was a keypad on the outside of it. She moved to the third door. She turned the handle. She didn't feel any resistance. It was unlocked.

She held her Beretta ready as she cracked it open. A rush of hot air escaped from the small gap. It was pitch black inside. She could hear an electrical hum. She quickly realized it must be the utility room. It was most likely for the electrical components.

She heard a loud thud near the door with the keypad. She looked around. She thought about running towards the vehicles. She should be able to hide underneath the vans if nothing else.

The door with the keypad opened before she could move. She opened the door of the electrical room a little more and slipped inside. She didn't close the door tightly.

The anger from the inside now spilled to the outside.

"I want you to go back now and secure the box truck." The first man said. "You never should have left it."

"My phone didn't work earlier." The second man said. "I already told you the same thing ten times."

There was a dull thud. It was followed by a grunt and something impacting the ground.

"Every time you give me an excuse, you get another punch." The first man said. "I guess that's the eleventh punch then."

There was some coughing.

"The truck was disabled." The second man said. "You don't know what it looked like there."

"I know what it looks like here." The first man said. "You cut out on everyone and ran, twice."

"The building we took the truck from was on fire. It collapsed as we drove away." The second man said. "There'd been multiple explosions inside of it."

"That's your story of the first building." The first man said. "Everybody there didn't make it except you."

"Starpy and Huck made it out with me." The second man said. "I told you they got blown up when they opened the door at the other building."

"That's right." The first man said. "It was the second building you left everyone behind and took off with the truck again. This time you were the only survivor."

"I'm telling you, dude." The second man said. "The entire building is a crater. There was a second explosion after the Terminator went in. I think his power cell detonated."

There was another dull thud.

It was followed by another round of gasping and coughing.

"Don't call me dude." The first man said. "So now we have two locations to check out where everything is totally destroyed."

"What do you want us to do with him?" The third man asked.

"Have the moron take you back to the truck." The first man said. "He didn't even have brains enough to look in the back of it to see what was there."

"The truck could be empty." The third man said.

"You won't know until you check it out." The first man said. "Check out the building he was at last and the one he was assigned to previously. I want to know all of the details as to exactly what happened. It sounds to me like we're dealing with those nut jobs again."

The female Fanatic opened the door a little bit more to look out. She was irritated at how the man referred to her group. She looked forward to bringing the building down with him in it.

She could see two men get into one of the white vans. It started and drove off.

"What do you want me to do?" The fourth man asked.

"I want you to head over to Bravo and find out what's going on over there." The first man said. "The idiot was right about the phones not working. It sounds to me as if two more of our locations were targeted. This one and Bravo are probably next."

"I'll get right on it." The fourth man said. "What are you going to do here?"

"I have a few things to wrap up." The first man said.

The female Fanatic watched as the fourth man entered the other white van and drove off.

It sounded quiet in the rear area. She opened the door of the utility room a little more. She didn't see anyone around.

She moved up to the door with the keypad. It was locked. She moved back to the other set of double doors and listened. She could hear there were others talking inside. She really wanted to get a look inside of the building to see what they were doing. She could make out at least four different voices.

She wanted a further look around the outside of building. She knew there was a driveway on one side. She wanted to try to avoid it for now. She moved towards the other side of the building. There was a roof access ladder in the back by the corner. There was a metal cover on it for the first eight feet. She'd noted earlier there were several skylights on the roof. They faced in the opposite direction. She touched the metal cover on the ladder. It made a squeaking noise and moved. She quickly looked around her. She didn't see anyone. She touched the cover again and pulled. It wasn't locked.

Before she went up, she decided to look on the other side of the building. She moved to the side and peered around. She still didn't spot any surveillance cameras on the exterior. There was only light visible through one window on the side. It was a narrow horizontal window. It was most likely a bathroom window. As she looked at it, the light went out. Someone probably just used it.

She hurried over to the window and tried it. It was locked. No sooner than her hand moved away from the glass than the light inside came on again. Her instinct was to duck down. She was below the level of the window already.

The female Fanatic made her way back to the covered ladder. She paused and listened for a few moments. She carefully swung the cover open enough to grab the rungs. The metal cover squeaked as it opened. It seemed like a good idea not to stick around. She quickly went up the ladder. Once she was above the level of the cover, she reached down with her foot and closed it. It squeaked again. She figured it was better to have it closed if someone came look, than to leave it open and have someone find it open. If it was in the open position it would only indicate one thing. Someone had used it to go up.

CamNet's Terminators watched the progress of the female Fanatic. They weren't sure if they would need to go up onto the hillside or remain in the vicinity of where she'd parked the stake side truck. They had a feeling some of the satchel charges and additional Thermite grenades would somehow be delivered to her by them. They didn't like assisting or coddling the enemy. They'd already needed to provide her with one Thermite grenade.

She was halfway down the hill when she suddenly laid flat.

"She must have spotted something." Lena said.

A few seconds later they saw a car door open. A man exited but didn't look up at the hill. He looked at the building instead. It was the direction he headed.

"I don't think she was spotted." Tina said. "There doesn't seem to be an alarm."

They watched her make it over the wall and up to the building.

Several men came outside of the building. The drone wasn't close enough to pick up their conversation.

"She was lucky one door was open." Lena said.

Tina frowned slightly.

"She's always lucky." Tina said.

They watched the men divided up.

One white van left with two men in it. The drone image zoomed in on one of the men.

"It appears the man who arrived in the brown van is on his way back." Lena said.

Tina made a logical assumption.

"He's been sent back to check on the van." Tina said. "He's in for a surprise."

They watched a man get in the second white van.

"It appears as if we have three targets now." Lena said. "We only have two drones."

CamNet earlier consolidated all of the drones where Steve's team was at. It happened as soon as Savannah and Cammy started on their way there.

"We may have to split up." Tina said. "We have two vans to follow. They're both headed in different directions. "

CamNet told them to stay together. They would go after the second van. It appeared to be headed to a different location. The van with the two men was headed back towards the burnt out box truck. One drone would stay with them. The other drone would stay over the building where the female Fanatic was at.

Lena thought maybe they needed to clean things up.

"If the drone over the building takes it down now, it will free up the drone." Lena said. "The two vans will be far enough away soon. They won't know what happened. None of them have any communications."

CamNet informed them she didn't choose to do so at this time.

CamNet's two Terminators watched as the female Fanatic checked around the building and went up onto the roof. They'd been directed to follow the other white van and needed to leave the area. The other drone continued to track the two men headed back to the box truck.

Your Cheating Heart

It doesn't take long
When two first start
Caution is thrown to the wind
Everything is off of the chart

Past experience dictates
It's not very wise or smart
The pedal is to the metal
From all rationality we soon depart

It's all random chance
There's no science or art
Everyone is susceptible at times
We all play a big part

When animal instincts take hold
No one can dodge the dart
It seems in the end
It's only ourselves we outsmart

Around my own heart's feelings
I must create a solid rampart
I need it to protect myself
From your cheating heart
