Chapter 1349

Love Is About Sacrifice

Savannah moved back to where the female detainee was at. She didn't think it was going to end well. She would rather take care of it herself than have Young Allison need to do it.

It was dark as she headed in the direction once she was away from the workroom area. At least the glowing energy ball provided some illumination.

She tried her night vision but it was useless. She'd previously stashed the glow stick inside of her vest to keep it hidden so she wasn't a target. She took it out now so she could see. She moved to the far wall across from the room where the female was at. She wanted to look in the doorway first and make sure things were the same as they were earlier. She didn't want to get shot or jumped if the detainee freed herself. She looked inside the room and the detainee was still on the desk.

The glow stick illuminated her so Savannah could get a good look at her. She was a mess. Her arms and legs were tied to the four legs of the desk. They were tied so tight, the flesh below the ropes was ashen and colorless. She reached out and touched the skin. It was cold and clammy to the touch. The ropes must have severely restricted the circulation. If they remained the same way much longer, the extremities would be damaged and die. Her hands and feet would need to be amputated if gangrene set in. The blindfold and gag were still in place.

Savannah touched her M9 and thought about ending her misery. She hesitated. She wondered if Young Allison would have hesitated. After what she'd just witnessed, she doubted it. Young Allison acted like Cameron. It was the type of training which would help her survive better in the future, a Skynet future.

She moved in back of the female so she was behind her head as she lay on the desk. She carefully removed the gag and blindfold. She tried to avoid contact with any of the fluids.

Vanna told her she was treated like this before. It sickened her to think it could be her tied to the desk. With Vanna, it was 'her'. Vanna was her. They were the same person.

She wanted to free the person but was aware they were most likely the enemy. She could lash out at her in some wild desperate attack at any point if she was free.

The female's eyes were open but unblinking. She appeared to be comatose or near death. There was still a slight rise and fall of her breasts. They weren't very prominent and appeared bruised. It was probably from excessive rough touching.

Savannah noted the position of the door and concealed her glow stick. She moved back over there and peered out of the door. It was total darkness one way and the glow from the workroom area the other way. It seemed brighter now. It was probably a bad thing.

She took out the glow stick again and went back to the female.

She carried a small bottle of water with her. She took it out and dripped a few drops into the female's mouth. She dripped a few more drops onto her forehead.

Savannah saw her eyes blink once. Then they blinked again. She was coming back from wherever her mind must have taken her to escape what was happening to her.

Vanna told her she did the same thing. Vanna said they may have taken her body, but they never took her. She attributed the passive form of escape as being the main reason why nothing was ever cut off of her as 'punishment' like so many of the other females who fought and resisted. There was no escape that way. There was only more pain. She found a way to escape even as her body was ravaged.

She moved forward and dropped a few more drops of water into the female's mouth. She saw her mouth move and she slightly moistened her lips. She dripped some more water. She repeated the process a few times.

"Can you tell me who you are?" Savannah asked. "How did you get here?"

The female tried to move her head. It seemed very heavy.

"Where are the men?" The female asked. "You're in danger."

Savannah considered her answers. She decided to tell it to her straight.

"They're all dead." Savannah said. "I killed them."

A slight smile crossed the woman's face. It appeared to please her to know her abusers were deceased.

"The 'Angel of Mercy' has come for me." The female said.

Savannah moved closer. She made no attempt to untie the female. She didn't want her to make some desperate attempt to escape. She appeared to be highly 'contaminated'. It was evident she'd been heavily abused in every way possible.

She hoped to gain a little more information. She'd like to know how she ended up a captive. She wasn't sure if she represented one of the other groups from the future, or some homeless female picked up off of the street.

"Can you tell me what happened here?" Savannah asked. "I need to know. Who are you? How did you get here?"

Savannah gave the female some more water. She was much closer to the female now, they could see each other clearly.

The female's eyes suddenly widened.

"You're not the 'Angel of Mercy'. You're the 'Angel of Death'." The female said. "You're 'The Redheaded Witch'."

Savannah quickly realized the female was a Fanatic. She was shocked to see some pinkish foam start to come out of the female's mouth. She'd obviously activated her 'poison tooth'. It was unnerving to her to know the female could have done it at the start of her abuse, but she didn't. She held out for hope. Now the hope was gone.

There was a crazed look in the female's eyes.

"'The Evil One' won't take me." The female gasped. "Thank you for giving me the strength to do what I lacked earlier. I welcome Ascension."

The female's eyes glazed over and her head tilted slightly to the side. She was dead.

At least Savannah knew the for sure female was a Fanatic. She hurried to the door to make sure Young Allison didn't hear the exchange. There was no one there.

Those statements were very troubling to her. People killed themselves when they saw her. It didn't make her feel good inside at all. It really made her wonder about the future the Fanatics were from. What went on there? Why was Skynet's successor, SkyMaster, worshiped like a god? Was the fact the Fanatics were terrified of her a good thing? The Fanatics were the enemy. Maybe 'The Redheaded Witch' was a Resistance fighter. They seemed to think she was Liquid Metal, or some other type of creation. It was all a little unnerving.

Could it really be Mrs. Weaver? Why would she take her appearance? Maybe 'The Redheaded Witch' was something worse than Skynet.

She needed to stop thinking about it.

Savannah took one last look at the female. She considered untying her but didn't because of what she'd said about her. It was doubtful this building was going to be there much longer anyway.

It gave her something else to think about. They originally thought the group they were currently after were Fanatics. Now it appeared they weren't. It must be another group of Grays from an alternate future or a further future. The technology they'd witnessed in the last few days with the unknown portal, and now the unknown energy ball, clearly weren't anything encountered previously with any other version of Skynet, or SkyMaster. It appeared the abusive treatment of females was much the same.

She needed to make sure neither Young Allison nor her were taken prisoner by the current group.

She headed back in the direction she'd left Young Allison. There was plenty to weigh on her mind now. She didn't need any distractions under the current circumstances. She was sure whatever the Fanatics referred to, it wasn't actually her. How could it be? She was human. It seemed whatever they feared wasn't. She needed to get back to Young Allison. She needed to prevent any of this from ever happening.

Young Allison rigged the Thermite grenade to go off with a trip wire. It was securely wedged between a machine of some type on one side of the glowing energy ball.

She took the closest dead man and pulled him by his foot closer to the opening. She stretched out his arm so it was pointed at the opening with the energy ball.

Young Allison checked the doorway with the spiral staircase and then back in the direction Savannah went. It seemed like it was taking a long time. She began to wonder if something happened.

She checked the opening to the outside from the rear. It was still locked.

She checked over the dead men for any intel. She avoided touching their blood.

Young Allison checked the doorway with the spiral staircase and back in the direction Savannah went again.

She was getting antsy waiting in one area. It was a bad idea to stay in one spot. She wanted to go check on Savannah. She needed to make sure the back remained secure and no one else came up the stairway.

If she didn't need to wait for Savannah, she would go down the staircase and see what was located there or where it went. Those men were down there doing something or came from somewhere.

The energy ball glowed brighter now and there was a definite hum. She wanted to set off the Thermite grenade and make a run for it back the way she'd come in.

Young Allison was pumped full of adrenalin right now. She tried to keep track of the time in her head. She was sure that she'd been in the building only about three minutes. It seemed like three hours.

She was going to give Savannah one additional minute before she went to see what happened. The energy ball was starting to bother her.

She checked everything again.

There was a 'clang' sound from below the spiral staircase area. It most likely indicated someone down there. She quickly sought cover. She positioned herself so she could head for Savannah and the way out if necessary. She was going to let whoever appeared trip the Thermite grenade if they went in the room with the energy ball. It would give Savannah and her more time to get out the front.

She needed to consider the possibility of some kind of Terminator from a further future who could operate in the high frequency energy field. She'd read the reports of Mrs. Weaver being unaffected by high voltage energy. She didn't want to encounter a Liquid Metal Terminator. If these people were from a further future than the Fanatics, anything was possible.

There was another 'clang' of metal on metal this time. It was probably the barrel of a rifle hitting the spiral staircase.

There was a muffled curse right after it. It didn't sound like a Terminator.

Young Allison drew her silenced M9 and waited in the shadows behind the cover of a metal workbench. She took aim at the doorway with the spiral staircase. She watched the rear of the building and the area where Savannah went. She thought she saw some light in that direction for a second.

Savannah wouldn't be expecting trouble. She might make herself a target if her glow stick showed. She made sure hers was concealed under her vest. She touched the butt of her Model 66 as she did. She turned her attention back to the door with the spiral staircase. She needed to bring down whoever emerged. She didn't realize she was starting to get target fixation as she concentrated on the impending threat. Her silenced M9 was ready to cough out death.

Young Allison cleared her mind. She checked around her again. There was the door to the outside, the spiral staircase, the room with the energy ball and the direction she'd entered from. There was no sign of Savannah yet. She turned her attention back to the target area. She was sure they would arrive any second. It appeared everything was going to depend upon her. She also needed to consider there were going to be multiple targets. There were three men the last time. As far as she knew, there could be five of them. Every second now seemed like an hour as she waited.

She needed to keep calm as she kept track of everything around her. She would deal with each threat as it presented itself. It was what she'd done when she entered the building. This would be no different. She was ready.

John was left standing in front of Vanna and Allison. The three of them watched Cameron walk away.

Everyone was a little mystified. It seemed like they'd all missed something.

John looked back at Vanna and Allison. He didn't see any reason to make a big deal about anything. Cameron asked him to dance with them. He didn't see why he couldn't. They were in a room full of people. He didn't want either of them to feel bad about themselves either. He felt bad enough about it as it was. He'd needed to resist their advances multiple times in the past. this wasn't the past anymore. That was then. This is now.

"Would one of you care to dance?" John asked.

Both of the girls' faces instantly lit up.

"I will." They both answered.

John needed to make a choice. He knew it was going to hurt whoever he didn't pick.

He glanced over at Cameron. She was talking to Holly and Gail-Cam. She looked over his way and walked away from Holly and Gail-Cam in the middle of a sentence.

It didn't look right. He wondered if she'd changed her mind. It wouldn't be the first time.

Cameron looked at the three of them. She held up one finger. She wanted him to pick one. She held up one finger on her other hand and pointed at herself.

John understood it to mean she would dance with the other one. He was pretty sure in the current scenario, he would rate number two and Cameron would rate number one.

"This is awkward." John said. "We'll do rock, paper, scissors one time. I'll dance with the loser."

His analogy struck Vanna and Allison as strange. It didn't really make any sense.

"Why would you pick the loser over the winner?" Allison asked.

John could see Cameron was almost there. He figured he might as well tell it like it was. He knew who it was all the girls really loved.

"I'll get second best, because the winner will get to dance with Cameron. She's on her way over." John said. "We all know who the real prize is here."

Vanna and Allison looked over and Cameron was on her way back.

They quickly did rock, paper, scissors and Vanna won.

Cameron walked up and he handed her Vanna's hand.

Judging by the smile on Vanna's face, she really was the winner.

Cameron smiled and took Vanna away.

It left John and Allison facing each other.

John didn't want to seem presumptive. He wanted to make sure it was really what Allison wanted to do. He didn't want to be the one to put pressure on anyone. He wanted to start over fresh.

"Would you like to dance with me?" John asked.

Allison looked like Cameron tonight.

She smiled at John.

"I'd like to very much." Allison said.

John took her to the dance floor by the arm.

They looked into each other's eyes and they both saw what they saw in Allison's future. The connection between them was still there. It was always there waiting to be unleashed. It was still there and it was just as strong, if not stronger, than ever. It was clear they wanted each other. The feeling existed from the first time they were alone with each other. They'd wanted to hold each other in their arms and make love to each other. There was always something to get in the way. There was the future, the past and the present. There was Vanna and Cameron and there was each other.

Allison and John looked intently at each other. They moved a little closer. It looked as if they were about to kiss.

Holly and Gail-Cam watched from the back of the room. Neither one of them cared for the way Cameron did things. They understood John needed to be protected, they just didn't like the way Cameron did it.

"I guess to take our virginity from us wasn't enough for Cameron." Gail-Cam said.

Holly watched Allison and John.

"I guess not." Holly said. "She's going to take our girlfriends too."

Gail-Cam didn't want to watch it happen.

"Let's go." Gail-Cam said.

Holly reflected on everything. She thought about the experience she'd shared with John with Cameron in control of her chassis. She touched her arm.

"I don't think this is really a bad thing. I want John to be with Allison." Holly said. "I want John to touch her the way he touched Cameron in my chassis. I want the same beautiful experience for her."

Gail-Cam thought about it. She was aware it was something beautiful. She wanted to give Vanna a positive experience with a male.

"You're right. I want the same thing for Vanna as well." Gail-Cam said. "She deserves to share the same experience one time. I want her to feel what I felt when Cameron was in control of my chassis. I know John will treat Vanna the same way. I want her to feel pleasure and feel love for once. It can't hurt anything."

Holly watched John and Allison together. It looked like they were going to kiss but they started to dance instead. She wanted something positive and pleasurable for Allison.

"I really want the best for her." Holly said. "Love is about sacrifice."

Gail-Cam nodded.

"I think we already proved it by allowing Cameron and John to take our virginity." Gail-Cam said. "It was a sacrifice of love. Now we'll allow them to take our lovers."

Holly smiled. She wanted everyone to have a positive experience.

"It will be beautiful for them. Love is something everyone can share." Holly said. "I'm happy for all of them."

Somehow what seemed like a 'bad' thing, now seemed like a beautiful thing to the Metal girls. There was no reason to think John would treat their lovers any different than he did Cameron when she used their chassis. The plus side to it was, when they were allowed to have their 'one time' with John, he would treat them the same way. As long as no one became possessive, sharing was beautiful.

Sheila and Ally were through with the casino for now. The episode with Mary questioning them didn't sit well.

"Mary looks like a problem." Ally said.

Sheila didn't think so. She knew they'd raised a number of issues which didn't have an easy explanation.

"She was just worried about her friend." Sheila said.

Ally helped Mary earn close to twenty five thousand dollars. As long as she was winning, she wasn't asking questions. She was sure they would start again. The trouble was, they were valid questions someone would ask about the nature of the events. She'd done what was necessary, even if it was going to cause trouble.

"I don't feel bad about preventing Laura from being abused." Ally said. "It was the right thing to do."

Sheila agreed. She saw what was about to happen. She would have preferred a different ending, for the perpetrators. She usually treated sexual offenders in the most brutal way possible.

"Those whackers were about to give her some 'root' when we showed up." Sheila said. "If we weren't on the ship, I would have 'handled' them a little differently."

Ally knew what Sheila did with men who abused women. It never ended well for them. She would need to keep an eye on Sheila to make sure she didn't go back on her own and do what she normally did. She wanted to remind her there were others on the ship to deal with the issues.

"I think Bob put the fear of prison into them." Ally said.

Sheila knew the type.

"Five to one says they'll jump ship in Frisco." Sheila said.

Ally hoped Sheila didn't hunt them down if they did. Someone would know they were on the cruise. They should be put off the ship in San Francisco for violating the rules instead.

"Let Bob deal with it." Ally said. "It's his job."

Sheila knew they still had close to two hours before Cameron used Ally's chassis with John.

"Cameron and Allison are in the rear lounge." Sheila said. "We can hit the sky lounge or go back to the room. Hanna is there with Cam-Gail."

Ally wanted some excitement.

"Let's hit the sky lounge." Ally said. "You're going to be with me when John and Cameron are done with my chassis."

Sheila smiled. She liked what Jesse taught her.

"The fresher, the better, is how I see it." Sheila said. "Let's blow."

Ally and Sheila headed for the rear elevator. The sky lounge awaited them.

Derek and Kyle seemed satisfied the four male Terminators were undamaged and hadn't experienced any malfunctions.

"I'm really sorry about the Taser threat." Derek said. "We didn't know what to expect."

The Terminators understood the need for caution. It was an unusual circumstance. It was a new phenomenon.

Tom was still worried about Savannah.

"It still leaves Savannah in the unknown." Tom said. "She stayed to make sure we all got out. We could barely move, she knew it, she didn't want to leave one of us behind. She's risked herself again to protect us. We're supposed to be the ones protecting her."

Tom remembered Savannah made sure he got to safety before under a similar circumstance. She'd also needed to stay behind alone to an unknown fate. Luckily she survived.

Derek and Kyle looked at each other. They could see it deeply troubled all of the Terminators. Maybe it was time to act. He glanced at Kyle.

Kyle understood Derek's unspoken question. He nodded.

The Reese brothers needed to go there and make sure she got out. They wanted to be inclusive. They knew there would be limitations.

"Will you join us?" Derek asked.

The four Terminators all volunteered at the same time.

"We want Savannah." The four Terminators all said.

It was good enough for Derek and Kyle.

"Grab some clothes and you can dress on the way." Kyle said. "We'll take two of the vans. They have a lot more weapons to choose from in them."

Kyle and Derek headed for the carpool. They picked the two closest vans stationed there. The four Terminators ran out naked holding their clothes. They would dress in the back of the vans.

Derek and Kyle drove. They took off and headed for the location. There were two Terminators with each of them. They knew the Terminators could only go so far. It would only be until they knocked out the high frequency energy field. They would be able to watch their back and keep a route of escape open if necessary. They would be able to deal with any other hostile forces which attempted to enter the battle zone.

The Terminators wanted Savannah back. They wanted some payback too.

Cammy plugged in and was updated by CamNet directly. She was very worried to know Young Allison entered the fight on her own. It was a game changer. She was headed into the total unknown. She'd already witnessed what Grays or further future Grays did to one female. They would go Insane with ecstasy if they put the grab on Young Allison. It simply couldn't get any better than her for the abusers.

CamNet and John Henry were still operating under orders to not send more help or use the TDE.

Sarah could see things there calmed down considerably. Cammy wasn't going to be a problem. She put her Taser away. She listened to what they could tell her. They were still trying to cover up the fact Young Allison was in combat, by herself.

John Henry was surprised when Summer ran into the Command Center with Cammy's clothes.

Summer looked at Cammy as she handed her the clothes.

"I got these for you so you can go back and get Savannah." Summer said.

Cammy needed to think about Savannah's order.

"I can't go." Cammy said.

Sarah understood the Terminators had certain restrictions enacted upon them. Some of them were physical, others were obligatory. She was restrained by neither of them.

"I can." Sarah said.

Summer looked at John Henry and at the security monitor. It was time to change the parameters.

"So can Cammy and the rest of our Terminators." Summer said. "They can make sure no more of the enemy arrives or escapes. They can provide perimeter security. They can be ready to reinforce the operation when things improve. They don't need to enter the building to do all of those things. Right now they can't anyway. They can still protect the people who can enter."

John Henry filled everyone in on what Derek and Kyle had just done. He was sure CamNet knew about it as well. He believed she'd already been contacted by Summer. Her next message to him seemed to indicate it was exactly what it was.

CamNet said she was obeying her 'new orders' from Summer, and 'all is as it was'.

John Henry thought it was a 'technical violation' but he was good with it. Summer was Young Allison's 'replacement'. Therefore it gave her the same authority as Young Allison if she wasn't there. Since Young Allison's fate was unknown, Summer was acting in her place. She was the 'Chosen One' at this point in time. The more he learned about Summer, the more he was sure she was actually the 'Chosen One'.

"Let's go." Sarah said. "You can dress on the way there."

Cammy looked at Summer and smiled. She understood she was behind everything.

Summer looked back at her and winked.

John Henry was going to go with them.

Summer wanted to make sure the priorities remained clear.

"You'll remain here with Samantha." Summer said. "Precious and Jan need protection."

Cammy and Sarah left.

John Henry looked at Summer.

"What about you?" John Henry asked.

Summer didn't believe her safety was an issue. She wanted to concentrate on the operation. She believed she could offer valuable insight.

"I think I can manage for now." Summer said. "Let's stick with the operation. If you can get into any of their systems, we can shut them down. You and CamNet need to direct the three teams where they will be needed the most. Anna and Mel are there too. It gives you four teams."

John Henry began to check where they could stage the troops to best go in after Savannah and Young Allison. They could also deal with any additional threats which arrived or tried to escape. He hoped there wasn't one of those unknown 'portals' there they could escape into. He hoped even more there weren't any reinforcements who would be able to come out of one. The power was off on the grid. The high frequency jamming field remained in place.

Riley was relieved when the all clear was sounded. She was worried when Derek decided to go out. She did understand though. A hostile environment was nowhere for a female when dealing with people from the future.

Jesse felt the need to go too but they were short on Terminators at the base. It was only Samantha and John Henry again. She would help defend the base if it ever came down to it. Precious, Summer and Jan came first. She would try to get Claire and Riley out as well.

Samantha felt she was Resequenced enough to take part in the operation. She didn't think she was recognizable as 'Sam from Vegas' any longer. She didn't look exactly like Claire yet either. At least her face didn't. Her body did.

Jesse told Samantha to remain on alert. Riley could watch over Precious and have everything ready to go if needed. She was told Claire and Jan were in the commissary. She headed that way.

Claire didn't like it when Summer left. She knew was a fast runner. It was a good idea to get some clothes for Cammy. She expected her to be back soon since Sarah and Cammy ran by a short time ago. She was surprised to see Cammy was still naked. She did carry her clothes.

She was glad to see Jesse walk into the commissary.

They gave each other a quick hug.

Jesse thought Claire and Jan should join Riley and Precious.

Claire thought it was a good idea.

"Let's grab some snacks for everyone." Claire said. "We can stay together better if we do."

Jesse told them to go to Riley's room and she would get Summer and bring her there.

Claire and Jan headed towards the pantry.

Jesse left and headed for the Command Center.

John Henry watched where Claire went with Jan. He wasn't sure what Summer was going to do.

"Your mother and Jan are going to Riley's room." John Henry said. "Jesse is coming to get you."

Summer was the only one at the base besides John Henry who knew where Young Allison was. Cammy knew too but she'd left with Sarah.

"I think I better go with Jesse." Summer said. "My mom is going to flip when she finds out Allison is at the target site. I'll need to calm her down."

Jesse walked in a few seconds later.

Summer left with Jesse.

John Henry found out all the drones actually made it out of the danger zone. The two which were 'missing' were with Young Allison. They were used in her ploy with CamNet to show their SUV going back to Palmdale.

It didn't appear anything was going to happen on their end until Derek and Kyle arrived along with Sarah. Until the energy field was taken down, the Terminators couldn't advance. They couldn't do a drone strike either until they knew where Savannah and Young Allison were.

Right now everything was up in the air. They didn't know anymore than they did from the moment Savannah called for the evacuation of everyone.

Anna and Mel went around the block and ended up on the other side from where they were. It gave them a view between the two buildings. They couldn't go closer yet because of the energy field. The spot where they were located now was just outside of its effect. It might change if the field continued to grow. It didn't seem to get any smaller.

Mel backed the SUV in so it faced the area between the two buildings.

Anna had the M82A1 ready to fire out the back of the SUV. Her field of fire was more than enough to cover the area.

She was very upset about Young Allison going off on her own. She could only take hope in the fact she was highly trained by Cameron personally. She didn't think Young Allison would have a problem killing anyone, but she didn't know. She did know she'd killed plenty by proxy through her actions against the Syndicate and Grays.

All they could do for now was wait. They received constant updates from John Henry and CamNet. As long as they didn't hear gunfire, it was a good thing. It was doubtful the enemy used suppressed weapons. If there was gunfire, it meant the girls were in a fight for their lives. She hoped it remained quiet.

The female Fanatic ran through the field. She turned in on the next cul-de-sac. She could see the flames and smoke billowing up from the building on the next street over. There were actually pieces of debris in the street as she ran. She kept an eye out for the three men in the sedan. She knew they were little more than Scavengers.

She really wanted to get out of the area. She began to check the other buildings to see if there were any vehicles she could take. She was almost to the beginning of the cul-de-sac where it connected back onto the street which led back to the main street. There was one building with an open gate.

Her hearing was affected somewhat after the last big explosion. It had pretty much returned to normal and the ringing faded quite a bit. Now it was back. She had her hands over her ears for the big explosion at the building.

"Nice night for a walk." The first man said.

The female Fanatic quickly looked off to her side.

"What do we have here?" The second man asked.

She quickly looked off to her other side.

The female Fanatic recognized both of the voices. They were the two men who'd been at the stake side truck earlier on. She decided to play it cool for now. She knew at least one of them was armed with a knife. She still had her knife at her Beretta. She knew she could kill both of them right now. She didn't want them, she wanted their car. She knew there was a third man somewhere with the vehicle.

"I don't want any trouble." The female Fanatic said.

There was one man on each side of her. They must have seen her coming.

"What are you doing here?" The second man asked.

She actually wondered why both of them were still there. She figured they would have taken off after the explosion.

"I was asleep in back of one of buildings when I heard a loud noise." The female Fanatic said. "I see the fire burning now. I wanted to leave the area. I expect the police and fire department will be here soon. I don't want to get blamed for something I didn't do. You didn't start the fire did you?"

She saw the two men look at each other.

"Hardly…." The first man said. "We were just passing by and thought we could see if anyone needed assistance. We just arrived here."

It was clear his statement was a lie.

"I'm going to leave." The female Fanatic said.

The two men moved a little closer.

"We can give you a ride." The second man said.

The female Fanatic looked around.

"I think you would need to have a car or some other type of vehicle if you were going to give me a ride." The female Fanatic said. "I don't see anything around here."

The two men continued to approach her.

"Don't worry." The first man said. "We have a ride for you."

The female Fanatic wanted to throw the men off guard.

"I don't think you do." The female fanatic said. "Stay back and nobody will get hurt."

The first man produced a knife.

"I don't think it will be us who gets hurt." The first man said.

The female Fanatic backed up some to draw the men closer together. They now were no longer on each side of her.

"Are you going to attempt to turn this into some type of robbery or abuse?" The female Fanatic asked.

So far only one of them showed a weapon.

"I think it all depends upon you." The second man said.

She looked around her to see if she could spot the car anywhere. She didn't see it. She knew it must be close by. She wondered what they were up to.

There was another small explosion from the area where the burning remains of the building was at.

"I think we all need to get out of here before the authorities arrive." The female Fanatic said.

The two men looked around a little nervously. The last explosion, and the reminder about the authorities, seemed to set them on edge.

The first man took out his phone. He tried to speak quietly but she could still hear him.

"What did you find?" The first man asked.

Pause.

"I didn't think so." The first man said.

Pause.

"I think you better come pick us back up." The first man said.

Pause.

"We found some homeless Bitch." The first man said

Pause.

"Not yet." The first man said. "You'll get to go third."

Pause.

"Whatever, dude, it's just how it is." The first man said.

Pause.

The first man looked over towards the female Fanatic.

"No, she's nothing special." The first man said. "Will it matter for two minutes?"

Pause.

The second man was very near the female Fanatic.

"Just get back here now." The first man said.

The first man put his phone away. He held his knife down at his side. He looked at the female.

"Are we going to do this the hard way or the easy way?" The first man asked.

The female Fanatic could pull her Beretta at any time. She didn't want to scare off the driver of the car. She wanted to get the car from them.

"Put the knife away." The female Fanatic said. "There's three of you and only one of me. I know how it works. There's no need to hurt me too."

Two men looked at each other and smiled.

The first man put the knife away.

She was ready to act.

"Here I am." The female Fanatic said. "Let's just get out of here before the police or fire department shows up."

The female Fanatic took one more look around to see if the vehicle was coming. She didn't see it yet. The two men were almost within knife range. She didn't want to use her Beretta unless she needed to. She really wanted their vehicle.

CamNet's Terminators decided to take the guard out. They didn't want any threats behind them. They planned to terminate everyone as they went along.

Lena remained at the mine entrance.

Tina moved down to terminate the guard. She wanted to hear his voice first and see if there was any type of recognition signal used on his communication device. She moved up behind him. He faced the road which led up to the stamp mill. It appeared he believed if anyone arrived, they would use the road. She knew he was unaware they'd come up the side of the hill.

The sentry sat on part of the foundation of the stamp mill. He smoked a cigarette and looked at his phone. His rifle rested across his legs above his knees. He clearly didn't take his duty seriously.

Tina moved within ten feet of him. She was on the other side of the stamps. She kept track of everything happening around her. She looked back at Lena. They nodded at each other. She turned her attention back to the sentry. She detected the chemical properties of the cigarette he smoked. It wasn't tobacco. It was cannabis. She was aware it would slow his reflexes and all his senses even more. He was probably a habitual user. More than likely he used other narcotics as well.

She moved a little bit more to the side. She wanted to see what he looked at on his phone. She finally was in a position to see. It was as she'd figured. It was pornography. She knew the images he viewed were stored on his phone. All cell traffic was currently blocked. She was aware it was the most widely accessed subject on the internet. It amazed her how there was no shortage of males, and especially females, who were on the internet.

He mostly looked at images. He watched a few graphic information files for a short time and then switched to short videos. She hadn't seen him look down the road once since she'd been behind him. He'd been concentrated on his phone the entire time.

There was a crackle of static.

"What's your status, Alpha?" The man asked.

The sentry quickly looked around in down the road.

"I have negative contact, Omega." The sentry said. "Nothing's moved since I've been out here. There's no indication of any vehicles. I haven't spotted anyone moving on foot."

"Sit tight for now, Alpha." The man said. "We're still unable to contact anyone."

"I tried my phone several times." The sentry said. "I still don't have any reception either."

"Put your phone away and stay vigilant, Alpha." The man said. "We know there's been some serious action in the last few days."

"Roger, Omega, I have it covered." The guard said.

"Someone will check about every fifteen minutes." The man said. "If you see anything out of the ordinary, you need to call immediately, Omega, out."

The sentry looked around one more time. He looked back at the opening to the mine.

"It's always Alpha this, Omega that, what a bunch of crap." The sentry muttered to himself.

He returned to looking at his phone. He appeared to be more worried about someone coming out of the mine and catching him, than he did about anyone approaching on the road or the surrounding area.

Tina had everything she needed. She knew his call sign was Alpha and his check in time was every fifteen minutes. She moved up behind him and snapped his neck. She held his body up with one hand and reached down and took his rifle with the other hand. She checked around her to make sure there was no one else. Lena hadn't alerted her there would be. She took his communication device and his phone. There was nothing else worthwhile on him to take.

She lifted the guard up and carried him and his rifle over to a nearby ravine. She tossed the body into the ravine and the rifle on top of it. She pulled a couple of pieces of brush loose and toss them on top of him.

Lena watched Tina terminate the guard and dispose of him. She was on her way back to the mine opening now.

"I heard everything." Lena said.

Tina looked towards the mine entrance.

"Did you hear anything inside there?" Tina asked.

Lena listened for voices. She hadn't heard any.

"I only heard metallic noises from somewhere deep in the mine." Lena said.

Tina took one more look around the area.

"I don't see any fresh dirt or rock dumped around the area." Tina said.

Lena hadn't noticed anything out of the ordinary either.

"If the vehicles weren't parked out in the open, there would be no indication anyone was at this location at all." Lena said. "There's a room inside to park them. I'm not sure why they haven't."

Tina took one more look around them.

"Let's go inside and check it out." Tina said.

Lena checked over her body armor and complement of weapons. Tina and her were identically equipped. They each wore a protective vest and carried two Thermite grenades. They both carried a satchel charge as well. Their primary weapon was a suppressed M4 with an M203 mounted underneath it. There was an HE round loaded in hers. There was a buckshot round loaded in Tina's. She would lead with her suppressed M9. Tina would back her up with her suppressed M4. They would try to make their entry as quietly as possible for as long as possible.

CamNet's Terminators enter the mine. They would terminate every individual they encountered as they moved deeper into it. They wanted to find out what Skynet was up to in the mine. The nearby high tension power lines were what made it worrisome. Down the rabbit hole they went.

Love Is About Sacrifice

When it's time for new love
Everyone rolls the dice
They may find a heart that's warm
Or one as cold as ice

One may become distracted
With many forms of vice
Their heart and soul may feel
As if it gripped in a vise

When things start to happen
No one thinks twice
As they escalate out of control
They surely don't think thrice

It must be remembered
Everything comes with a price
The gamble soon becomes
If things will turn out nice

Events will soon prove
If they are mundane or full of spice
There's always someone else
Who will captivate and entice

The journey may be long and bumpy
To reach true paradise
It can only be obtained when one realizes
True love is about sacrifice

Nobody
