Chapter 1381

Figure It Out Later

Cammy and Savannah moved to the side of the storage shed away from the door. Hank was on their side and moved to cover the back of the shed. 'Coltan Overcast' covered the front and the other side of the shed. Its minigun was ready to fire.

Cammy debated whether to call for whoever was in the shed to come out or just shoot them through the wall. The Coltan rounds in her M4 would penetrate the structure easily and find their mark. She looked at the image on her phone and then raised her M4. It was time to act.

"I'm going to 'pop' him." Cammy said.

Savannah didn't think they had a 'clean' target. She realized it could be a captive or detainee of some sort. It could be an innocent person used as a sacrificial lamb to set them up.

"We don't know who it is." Savannah said. "We don't know where they came from."

Cammy didn't want to take any chances. She wanted to play it safe.

"We can figure it out later when we examine the body." Cammy said.

Larry was able to get the digital lock to work at the back door on the building.

"I have a green light on the rear door." Larry said. "We can enter the building."

Savannah thought Cammy was going to fire through the side of the shed anyway. It still seemed there were a number of factors to consider. She wanted to point out one of the more extreme possibilities.

"We don't know if they're a Fanatic or not." Savannah said.

Cammy lowered her M4 quickly and moved Savannah further away from the shed.

"Maybe something will blow up when I shoot him." Cammy said.

Savannah wanted Hank to move to a safer distance away as well. They didn't know what would happen.

"Hank, I want you to fall back some more." Savannah said. "Caution applies to all of us."

Hank immediately moved further back.

Savannah thought 'Coltan Overcast' was fine where it was at. It was high enough to be out of human hearing range.

Larry opened the rear door of the main building after he checked for any booby traps.

Savannah wondered who gave him the OK. She was going to do it herself.

Cammy looked at the rear of the building and back at the shed.

"We should go inside." Cammy said. "Hank can keep things under control out here."

Savannah didn't want anyone to attack the shed as soon as she went into the building. It seemed to be what was on Cammy's mind. She looked at Hank when she spoke. She knew 'Coltan Overcast' would receive the message as well.

"Unless the figure moves, I don't want anyone to do anything yet." Savannah said. "It could be anything from a patsy to a prisoner in there."

Cammy was sure it was Skynet related. She thought about shooting them through the wall anyway again.

"It's most likely a Gray or a Fanatic." Cammy said.

Savannah thought it could even be a female detainee from a comfort bunk who was placed there to see what would happen. She didn't want to mention it. She knew Young Allison would be listening. She didn't want any speculation.

"Let's see what we can find in the building first." Savannah said. "We just don't know who they are, or why they're there."

Savannah and Cammy reached the back door. Larry went in before them. She wanted some order.

"Cammy will lead." Savannah said. "I'll follow her and you'll bring up the rear."

Larry nodded.

"Affirmative…." Larry said.

Cammy looked at Savannah and passed Larry. They headed for the 'clean room'. She wanted answers. She wanted them as soon as possible too.

Earlier:

Young Allison suggested Larry enter the building first as soon as he was able to open the rear door.

Anna thought it was a mistake. It would go against Savannah's protocols.

"Savannah isn't going to like it." Anna said.

Young Allison was aware they didn't always like the way she did things.

"Nonetheless, it's happening." Young Allison said.

John Henry relayed the information to him.

Young Allison also watched the drone footage from San Francisco. She was satisfied with the current outcome.

"The problem looks resolved." Young Allison said.

Anna doubted it. She was glad nothing bad happened to the girls. She was sure it was going to open up a whole new can of worms. It was going to raise a lot of questions about timing and coincidence.

"Those three girls are going to ask a lot of questions by the end of the flight." Anna said.

Young Allison didn't see it as too big of a problem.

"Cameron will cover it up." Young Allison said.

They watched Cammy take the lead and enter the building.

Young Allison and Cammy focused their attention on their operation now.

Ken and Lou remained behind the controls of the Blackhawk. They gave a narration of the sights. When they took off from Golden Gate Park, they headed west. They actually flew to the Pacific Ocean. It only took a few minutes. They flew up the western coast of the San Francisco peninsula. It was actually territory they hadn't covered previously. It gave them another look at the city from a different perspective. They arrived back at the Golden Gate Bridge and repeated the first part of the tour again for the benefit of the three new girls. John, Vanna and Allison all appreciated it again too.

Cameron sat next to John. Holly moved next to Allison and Gail-Cam moved next to Vanna.

The 'pair ups' weren't lost on Mary, Laura and Leticia.

It left Sheila to interact with the three girls. She made sure all of them were undamaged. She personally inspected them.

The girls from the ship didn't know what to think. There was a lot to process. One thing was for sure to all of them, it was a 'close one' for a lot of bad things to happen.

Mary was a little worried about one specific thing.

"Did I hear gunfire earlier?" Mary asked.

Sheila knew it was part of the act. It happened out of the view of those in the back of the helicopter.

"You saw where we were." Sheila said. "There was no gunfire there. It was probably a 'clunker' in need of a tune up and it backfired a few times. It wasn't the best neighborhood near there. Let's enjoy the flight for now."

They would circle the bay and come back across it when they passed Berkley on the return leg of the flight. They would parallel the Bay Bridge and overfly Treasure Island.

Mary, Laura and Leticia seemed a little more relaxed and started to really enjoy the view. Sheila constantly touched them as she pointed out things if Ken or Lou didn't mention them.

It was clear the three of them were infatuated by Sheila since she'd been at the heart of 'saving' them a few times. She openly fondled each of them from behind at times as she interacted with them.

Cameron watched Sheila and was pleased at how she controlled Mary, Laura and Leticia. She was aware the allure of sex was an easy way to control humans. She glanced at Vanna and Allison every now and then. They looked a little jealous. It seemed illogical to her since they were the ones who'd actually shared with Mary and Laura already, not Sheila. She figured they wanted to be with them again. They probably also wanted to get their hands on the new girl. Leticia was Hot.

John took it all in. He wasn't sure what Cameron planned but he was ready to find out. He was sure someone in the helicopter was going to be in his bed tonight besides just Cameron.

Cameron scanned John several times during the flight. She just finished a scan now.

She casually touched his crotch area.

"Don't worry. I'll make sure 'Little Willie' finds a nice 'home' for tonight." Cameron said. "He may end up in a new place. It will be just what you want."

John smiled and nodded. He knew Cameron would do whatever she wanted. It was what she always did. He was just along for the ride. He briefly reflected his whole life seemed to be the same thing. He wanted to put praise where it was due.

"I can't wait." John said. "They're all beautiful, but not as beautiful as you."

Cameron smiled at John and gave him a quick kiss. She wanted nothing but the best for him. She wanted John to have the best honeymoon ever.

Savannah and Cammy entered the building. They were familiar with the layout since they'd been inside earlier. There was the chance the Grays inside knew they were about to get 'hit' and rigged the place with a few surprises for them.

Cammy moved towards the clean room. She checked for any trip wires or booby traps. She didn't spot any. There weren't any new surveillance cameras spotted. Everything looked like it did before.

She went over and looked at the computer terminal she'd used earlier. It was turned off now. It looked like just about everything else was off as well.

Cammy motioned for Savannah and Larry to hang back a little as she began to inspect the outside of the clean room. There was only one door in. If anything was wired to explode, it would be the one door.

She was able to move around the front and one side of the clean room. It was raised about a foot and a half off of the workroom floor. It was a recent addition. It actually looked like a prefab type room which could be assembled from a kit. She looked at the back and the other side and saw they were separate walls from the building walls in the corner it was in. It was a self standing structure.

The raised floor had several access panels. They could be opened or removed from the side which faced into the building. It didn't look like there was any place for anyone to go there. There was room for someone to fit underneath it. It would probably very crowded under there.

Cammy scanned the clean room using several vision spectrums and found nothing out of the ordinary. It left her two choices. She could open the door to the clean room with the keypad. She was able to observe the combination earlier. The other choice was to remove one of the panels on the side at the bottom and try and gain entry through the floor of the clean room. Either way could be booby trapped.

Savannah didn't like being in the building. She was sure there was more at play than they could see.

"The whole setup bothers me." Savannah said. "I'm not sure what's going on here."

Cammy hoped to find out. She moved back to Savannah.

"I'm going to remove one of the side panels and enter from the floor." Cammy whispered.

Savannah and Cammy received an update from John Henry.

They looked at each other when they heard what he had to say.

Young Allison and Anna focused on Cammy's and Savannah's operation.

They could see things in real time with the body cams the team wore.

They watched what Cammy checked out along with Savannah's and Larry's body cams as well.

Young Allison could tell Savannah was concerned about the two choices available to them to enter the clean room. They appear to be the only two choices available to anyone.

"I think Cammy's plan is flawed." Young Allison said.

Anna wasn't sure how.

"It seemed less of a risk than going in the only door." Anna said.

Young Allison saw it as 'low hanging fruit'.

"That's just it." Young Allison said. "It makes it the 'easier' choice."

Anna didn't see there were very many choices.

"Yes." Anna said.

Young Allison looked at the images of the clean room.

"The clean room looks like an 'add-on' room of some kind." Young Allison said. "It doesn't extend to the ceiling. It's not even close."

Plans for the room additions showed up on their screens. CamNet sent them the information.

Anna began to get Young Allison's drift.

"You think they can remove a roof panel, and then a ceiling panel on the clean room to enter from the top. It wouldn't be a standard entry method." Anna said. "No one would expect anyone to enter in such a manner."

Young Allison nodded. She knew Savannah was worried about a bomb. Her method of entry provided a sound alternative.

"Which means it shouldn't be booby trapped." Young Allison said.

Anna transmitted the information to John Henry. He received the assembly instructions for the specific prefab room addition. What was put together, could be taken apart.

Cammy and Savannah were a little surprised at their new instructions for entering the clean room. It was similar to some of the other entries they'd made into actual buildings through the outside roof, or even the sky lights.

Savannah wondered if the new information was really from CamNet or Young Allison. She liked the fresh thinking and unconventional ideas which came out of the Young bunker and CamNet. They went to the custodian's room and found his tool kit.

Cammy called Larry over and climbed up on top of him to get onto the roof of the clean room. She wanted to make as little noise as possible.

He lifted Savannah by the waist. She handed Cammy the tool kit first and then Cammy pulled her up on top.

Larry moved back where he could cover the front and side of the clean room if anyone made a break for it. They doubted anyone was there.

The clean room addition was recent enough so there was very little dust build up on top of it. There were several small exhaust vents for some of the cooling inside. The electrical hook ups were all underneath in the small crawl space.

Cammy moved over to the far vent and quickly unscrewed it. She took off the cover. There was a solid tube inside underneath it. It didn't allow her to see anything. She moved to the far corner and began to unscrew the roof panel. Savannah moved to the back with her and pointed her M4 towards the roof. She would fire through the roof if any shots emanated from within. Larry was poised to fire into the side of the clean room from his position.

Savannah watched as Cammy removed a two by four foot section of the roof. There was insulation underneath it. Cammy pulled it out so all that was there now was some wiring and the ceiling panel inside.

Cammy was able to move the wiring off to the side and out of the way. She then pried up a ceiling panel. She slid it forward over the top of the one next to it. It was now a two by two foot square opening.

Savannah was impressed Cammy was able to do everything in just under a minute.

The interior lights were on in the clean room. Cammy bent her head down and took a look inside. The room appeared empty. It looked as if all the hard drives were missing from the mainframe computer as they suspected they would be.

Before Savannah could protest, Cammy rotated around and carefully dropped inside.

Cammy landed on her feet and looked around. The floor panels were pulled up in the far corner by the door. There was a block of C-4 above the door. It looked like it was rigged to explode when the door was opened. She was glad Savannah prevented her from entering through there.

She moved over and looked inside the missing floor panel. There was a smaller block of C-4 rigged to one of the access doors on the side. If they'd tried to enter by either of the two obvious ways to get in, they would have experienced a 'problem'. It would have been a big one.

Cammy quickly disarmed both of the bombs and removed the detonators. They were both set to explode with a mechanical trigger. There was no radio or other electrical hookup attached to them.

She motioned for Savannah to drop inside with her. She went over and assisted her down inside the clean room.

Savannah looked around. She was about to speak when Cammy motioned for her to be silent.

Cammy checked where she'd left the listening device. It was still there. She checked it to see why it stopped working earlier. It was in good order and it worked fine. The transmission frequency was what was different. The Gray's modified it to become their listening device. It now transmitted on an altered frequency. She indicated to Savannah what the situation was.

Savannah nodded. She didn't like it because the Gray's booby trapped the clean room when they'd pulled out. All the computer gear was gone that mattered. They must have left the listening device so they could hear when the clean room exploded. It meant they were out of the area at this point and wouldn't hear it on their own. If it were the case, a direct counter attack seemed unlikely.

Cammy wanted Savannah to practice defusing both of the bombs. She carefully watched over Savannah as she went through what needed to be done, even if it was already done. She didn't have any problems. Savannah had been trained in the use of different types of explosives. Savannah even indicated what she would need to do to rearm them if she were to place them herself. It was all done in silence.

Cammy opened the clean room door to the outside and was met with Larry's M4 pointed at her. She indicated he remained quiet. She moved away from the clean room and contacted John Henry. She told him to set up a dummy feed and try to track the frequency the bug was now set to. Once it was done, she returned to the clean room and removed the bug. She explained to Savannah what she'd just done.

"We don't have anything to go on unless John Henry can find the frequency." Cammy said. "This place was cleaned out."

Savannah was afraid it was what they were going to find.

"What's the range on the bug?" Savannah asked. "It can't be very far."

John Henry interrupted them. He thought the information was very important.

"The frequency traces to the rear parking lot of the building you're in." John Henry said.

They both knew it was the storage shed in the back.

Savannah didn't think it made much sense. Anyone in the shed would be able to hear an explosion inside of the building. They didn't need a listening device.

"Is it tied into something else?" Savannah asked.

John Henry could only go by what he could detect.

"I don't know." John Henry said. "The signal stops there."

Cammy wondered about whoever was in the shed.

"What is the status of the heat signature inside the shed?" Cammy asked.

John Henry checked the drone feed.

"They're still there in the same place." John Henry said. "There hasn't been any indication of movement of any kind.

It seemed unlikely to Cammy and Savannah at this point there was a person inside the shed. It was unlikely they were a living person anyway.

Savannah took over the interior security so Larry could join Cammy and go through what was left in the clean room. Larry went underneath the floor to check it out as well. They emerged four minutes later. They replaced the ceiling panel and the floor panel. Their entry and examination of the clean room should be undetected. The only difference was, the bombs were gone. She didn't want one of the employees to accidentally trigger the explosives. She also didn't want it obvious as to what they'd done to gain entry. They exited the clean room and closed the door behind them.

Cammy didn't look happy. Somehow the Grays got away with everything. They got away clean. It shouldn't have been able to happen with their surveillance.

"They took everything and eluded us." Cammy said. "Let's go."

Savannah followed Cammy out the back. Larry secured everything behind them.

They approached the shed in the back.

Hank gave them his assessment.

"There's been no change here." Hank reported. "Absolutely nothing has changed."

Cammy nodded and moved toward the shed. She reached for the door.

Savannah was sure it was a bad idea.

"Wait." Savannah said. "It's probably wired the same way as the clean room door."

Cammy expected as much.

"I'll check first." Cammy said.

Since she'd observed how the other two bombs were rigged, she knew what to look for. As she opened the door slightly, she hoped the same person would have rigged this door as who'd rigged the other two booby traps. If this one was done by a different person, it could be set to go off differently. She found the bomb right away at the top of the door and disarmed it. She opened the door but didn't enter.

Savannah moved up and came to look inside. It was dark in the interior.

Cammy wanted to warn Savannah.

"I have a body." Cammy said. "It isn't pretty."

Savannah paused.

"Who is it?" Savannah asked. "Is it the representative?"

Cammy scanned what remained of the facial features.

"It's one of the Grays who was inside the clean room." Cammy said.

It didn't make any sense at first.

"They must have thought he was either a Fanatic or from the anti-Metal faction." Savannah said. "Was he tortured?"

Cammy looked in the shed but didn't enter.

"Apparently…." Cammy said. "You don't need to deal with this."

Larry and Hank were there now. They didn't see any need to expose Savannah to unnecessary violence.

"We'll check the shed and take care of this." Larry said.

Savannah didn't want to run out on them. She was willing to do the dirty work too.

"I can help." Savannah said.

Cameron's Terminators were used to the 'dirty work' as they conducted Cameron's operations.

"We have this." Hank said. "If we turn up anything, we'll let you know."

Savannah was worried where it would lead.

"If there is anything on the anti-Metal faction, I need to know personally." Savannah said.

Hank and Larry would take care of everything.

"Affirmative…." Hank and Larry both said.

Savannah didn't want any information suppressed.

"If you find anything on the Grays or Fanatics, run it through John Henry and he'll make the determination on how best to proceed." Savannah said.

Cammy led Savannah away.

"Let's get back to our SUV." Cammy said. "It looks like a dead end for the night."

Savannah wanted to know how the Grays eluded them and made a clean getaway. She wondered if maybe not all of them had gone too far. If they wanted them to trigger the booby traps they'd left behind, someone may have remained to verify what happened. If they didn't detect an explosion, they may return to see exactly what happened. They may actually try to finish the job themselves.

"I want a drone to remain here for the duration of the night." Savannah said.

Cammy wondered what for.

"Why?" Cammy asked. "Do you think they'll come back?"

Savannah wasn't even sure they'd left at this point.

"I really don't know." Savannah said.

Richard and Michael picked them up down the street a few minutes later in the delivery van. They let them off at Cammy's SUV.

"We will go back and assist Larry and Hank." Richard said.

Savannah touched Richard and Michael as she spoke.

"I need any leads on the anti-Metal faction sent directly to me." Savannah said.

Richard and Michael didn't want to let down Savannah. They would comply with all of her directives. Savannah's directives superseded any directive from Cameron or CamNet.

"Affirmative…." Michael and Richard both said.

Savannah climbed in the SUV with Cammy.

"Let's go." Savannah said.

Savannah looked back in the direction of where the building was at. Things just didn't sit well with her. She really couldn't put a finger on it.

Anna could see things played out exactly as Young Allison predicted they would. Her idea to have them use the unconventional entry into the clean room proved highly valuable. If they'd attempted either of the two ways they'd previously discussed, things may have turned out differently.

Anna was pleased Young Allison called it.

"You did a good job." Anna said.

Young Allison wasn't convinced of it. She was very dissatisfied with the outcome so far.

"Not if we let the Grays slip through our fingers." Young Allison said. "They shouldn't have been able to elude us."

Anna knew both John Henry and CamNet went over all the drone footage again. There were times in the high altitude orbit where not every part of the building was visible to its fullest. The Grays must have been lucky and made their moves during those times. It was highly doubtful the Grays knew they were under drone surveillance. They couldn't have known where the drones looked at any given time either.

There was something else she wondered about. She was surprised it hadn't come up yet. She wondered when Young Allison would bring up the dead man. It wasn't very long.

Young Allison contemplated what they knew so far. It wasn't very much. She figured there was a little more at play before their arrival. They'd already encountered infiltration of some of the various groups of the future by the other groups of the future. It was one of the reasons why the Resistance hadn't expanded beyond what it was. It was also one of the reasons why there were more Terminators in the Resistance than there were humans.

"They must have suspected the man they killed before Cammy made her appearance." Young Allison said. "They suspected him and probably played him. They probably figured Cammy's arrival was initiated by him."

Anna didn't know. It was all speculation. There was always a lot they didn't know.

"He may have just been a Gray too who they didn't trust." Anna said. "Remember, all Grays are 'sellouts'. They turned their backs on the rest of humanity. It's even worse for the Fanatics. SkyMaster became their false god."

Young Allison wanted a solid lead. She wanted to stick with the current operation. She was still steamed because two of the Grays who were able to elude them.

"I want something on those two Grays who got away. I want the version of 'Skynet' they have." Young Allison said.

Anna knew they all wanted it. None of them liked getting played. She wanted to remind Young Allison very little was actually 'cut and dried'.

"Things like this happen." Anna said. "More things like this will happen too. It's inevitable. Don't make it personal. It will cloud your judgment."

Young Allison was aware it could. It just seemed they got played on a few different levels on this one.

"It's all personal if it is Skynet related." Young Allison said. "Skynet is the enemy. I know what they did to the future and those in it. I know Skynet tried to kill me. I don't see how it can get any more personal than that."

Young Allison really hoped they could prevent Skynet from doing it all again.

Things had quieted down quite a bit at Golden Gate Park.

There were four Terminators who remained in the vicinity of the incident which took place in the park. There wouldn't be any police response.

It looked like the homeless people crawled back into their cardboard boxes and filthy sleeping bags. There was no threat. There was no sign either of the street gang.

Hanna and Ally led Bob and Jim back to the convertible. It was a little worse for the wear.

There was steam coming up around the side of the hood. The car now had a noticeable lean to one side as well. There was some suspension damage of some type. It was probably from going up on the curb to drive on the sidewalk to make a pass one time.

Bob made a quick assessment of the vehicle. He determined the vehicle was totaled.

"The vehicle is damaged beyond repair." Bob said. "It's unsafe and unreliable to use."

Ally and Hanna could see the rag top was in poor condition. They were lucky to have made it to where they did. It was clear Sheila pushed the vehicle to its maximum to reach the area as quickly as possible. The safety of the girls was at stake.

Hanna looked over at Bob and Jim.

"Just be glad you weren't in it as it ended up in its current condition." Hanna said. "It was quite a ride to say the least. It should have been filmed and put in a movie. They wouldn't have needed to use any stunt drivers or special effects."

Ally figured the description was out on the car anyway at this point. It was involved in multiple incidents as they hurried to get to the park.

"There's probably going to be an APB out on it soon anyway." Ally said. "A few cars were in Sheila's way. She made room anyway."

Jim thought it would be awhile before the police became involved.

"John Henry will suppress everything." Jim said. "Most of those incidents will never actually get reported. They would just be squelched."

They noted there was no one around the area. It seemed unusual. They thought the helicopter landing in the park would draw some 'lookiloos'. There could have been a few other influencing factors involved.

Ally thought it was worth commenting on.

"I really expected to see more people." Ally said.

Bob was sure he was responsible.

"I think the gunfire scared off anyone who thought about coming to see what happened with the helicopter being so low." Bob said.

Jim felt John Henry or CamNet would suppress or spin anything related to them. He was ready to move on. He was ready to return to his duties in the Control Center.

"I don't think we need to worry about it." Jim said. "We need to get back to the ship."

Ally looked around. She agreed. It was time to leave.

"I don't feel like walking back to the ship." Ally said. "Let's get some wheels."

Hanna came up with an idea. She'd seen the brochures and ads. There were some things she thought looked like they would be 'fun' to do. They were at least interesting. She knew Vanna, Allison and John all wanted Jim and Bob to have a good time. It was the whole reason why they'd brought them along in the first place. The recent turn of events changed what their original itinerary would have been. There was no reason they couldn't make it up elsewhere.

"Maybe we can ride a cable car." Hanna said. "I'd like to do that."

Jim and Bob both thought it was an inefficient form of transportation.

Ally liked the idea. She'd spotted some cable cars a couple times on their wild ride with Sheila.

"It sounds like fun." Ally said. "I want to do it too."

The 'Neural Interface' from both Vanna and Allison was evident in Hanna and Anna.

Jim and Bob could see the Metal girls really wanted to do it. Cameron always wanted them to expand and grow. It seemed like a relatively easy way to interact with the city.

"We can do it." Bob said. "It will be a new experience for all of us."

Jim already knew the layout of the city. There were several ways to get to one of the three cable car routes. Two of the routes shared about half of the same route before they split. Even after they did, they were separated by only a few blocks.

"It's only about a mile or so." Jim said.

Hanna was pleased Bob and Jim were onboard.

"Thank you for allowing us to try something new." Hanna said. "It won't take us long to go a mile."

Ally wondered about walking there this late at night. After the 'riff raff' they'd just encountered, there could be more trouble or incidents along the way. She thought about another movie she'd watched with the girls before. It always left her with an uneasy feeling.

"This isn't going to be like 'The Warriors' is it?" Ally asked.

Bob and Jim looked at each other. The name sounded threatening. They both touched their M9.

"Who are 'The Warriors'?" Bob asked.

Hanna knew what it was. She'd watched the movie with Claire before. It was somewhat disturbing. The 'Vanna' in her was troubled by it. She was ready to act.

"It's a world of hurt for any group, street gang, or anyone else who gets in our way." Hanna said. "'The Warriors' needed to face many obstacles to reach their home turf."

Ally and Hanna smiled and 'high fived' each other. It seemed like it would be an adventure now instead of a problem. She was sure Bob and Jim would appreciate the challenge.

"In that case, it's too bad Sheila isn't with us." Ally said. "It would be her kind of inner city journey."

Hanna smiled.

"Can you dig it?" Hanna asked.

Ally smiled at the reference to the movie.

"I guess we'll find out." Ally said.

Bob and Jim didn't want any more trouble. They were at least glad they were able to have some time out with John and the girls. It seemed the Metal girls were up to some adventure as well now.

Jim wanted to point out what may lay ahead.

"We may face unknown challenges." Jim said. "We may run afoul of various groups or individuals."

Bob grinned at Jim.

"They will lose." Bob said. "We are 'The Warriors'."

Cam-Gail listened and monitored everything the team was up to from the Control Center on the ship. She quickly accessed and downloaded the movie 'The Warriors' to see what type of trouble would be encountered. She didn't think they should risk any damage to their sheaths on the way back. She would track them and make sure she could prevent any unnecessary encounters.

Based on the movie, it was going to be a very grueling journey for the four of them. She was sure if they weren't all Terminators, they wouldn't all survive.

John Henry was dissatisfied with the results from the location Cammy and Savannah visited.

He was also worried about the events in San Francisco. His server was busy trying to cover up, alter or suppress events along the path Sheila took through town in the convertible. Luckily no one was killed. There were a few accidents which were caused. Most of those were very minor.

He would let JH, his server, deal with all of it. He wanted to concentrate on where the Grays went. He was sure he wanted to find them as much as Young Allison did.

CamNet was amused somewhat with the antics and events in San Francisco. She was also deeply troubled she'd seemed to let Savannah and Young Allison down by the Grays escaping with some version of Skynet.

Four of her Terminators were there now at the building location. She wanted some answers and she wanted a few clues. She told them to check everything four times. Each one would do it on their own separately from each other. It would give them the best overview and nothing would be missed.

Things weren't over yet.

CamNet's Terminators followed the progress of the homeless men outside of the building as well as the three Grays inside of the building. They'd been able to hear the homeless men talk about the other vehicle at the end of the cul-de-sac. It was much as they'd suspected. It was just a group of local drug abusers. It was the new vehicle which caught their attention.

They didn't know if it was more Grays returning to the location. They'd heard the three Grays discuss additional personnel earlier. They didn't know if it was a hit on the location. It could be more 'stoners' headed for the location where the illegal narcotics were in use.

"It appears the vehicle is about to turn into the parking lot here." Lena said.

Tina checked the image on her phone. She listened to the three men in search of a specific crate. They seemed oblivious.

"It doesn't appear they're expecting anyone to arrive." Tina said.

Lena figured CamNet probably cut off all communications.

"They don't have any way to communicate." Lena said.

They watched as the vehicle pulled up in the parking lot outside of the door they'd entered through.

Tina thought it was time to act.

"We should take down the three Grays now and prepare to take down the rest of them when they enter the building." Tina said.

Seconds ago:

The two homeless men hid in the bushes next to the target building. They were worried the police were about to drive by. They'd experienced a number of run ins with them previously. It was true they may have entered many of the unoccupied buildings from time to time, but they didn't vandalize anything or take anything unless it was something someone no longer used. They weren't thieves. They were just down on their luck. Sometimes people had more than they needed. They figured they could use it more than they could.

The headlights drew closer to their hiding position.

"It could be more stoners." The first homeless man said.

"I'd rather have it be stoners than the cops." The second homeless man said.

"It could be more of the thugs as well." The first homeless man said.

"I don't think it will be the girls." The second homeless man said. "I'd still like to get a look inside of the building."

"It's been too long." The first homeless man said.

"It hasn't been for the females we saw earlier." The second man said.

They watched the vehicle turn into the driveway of the building they'd just left a few minutes ago.

"I'm glad they didn't catch us when we tried to get in over there." The first man said. "I think it's time to move on."

The two homeless men moved out from the bushes and hurried down the street towards the end of the cul-de-sac. They crossed over one railroad siding. It was the one which passed between two buildings through a narrow gap. They rail gang of illegals hung out there. They hurried past the spot.

Lena didn't think they would have any trouble bringing down the three Grays and any other ones which arrived. Maybe they could gather some additional intelligence if they heard what the Grays discussed. They still didn't know if they were part of the same group or there for something else.

The drone image showed two men exit the vehicle. They weren't physically carrying weapons. They entered the building through the door on the west side. They clearly possessed the entry code. They didn't need to force anything.

They noted the homeless men moved on down to the east.

Lena moved on down to the south. She was at the rear of the second boxcar. Tina remained where she was at in the north end of the building. She was at the front end of the first boxcar. They wanted to hear what the new arrivals had to say.

The three Grays continued to search for a specific crate among the group of crates, containers and boxes in the building.

The first man looked towards the office area.

"Hey, I heard something." The first man said.

"I don't think it's the opossum." The second man said.

The third man looked at the first two men with disgust.

"Neither one of you knuckleheads went and armed yourself yet." The third man said.

"We were looking for the crate." The first man said.

"You told us not to worry about the Boogeyman." The second man said.

The third man pulled his pistol out.

"I'll go check it out." The third man said. "You two imbeciles can keep looking for the crate."

The third man headed back towards the office area. He knew the front of the building was secure. He'd checked it himself. He was sure it was some of their team returning. He's expecting them to come back yesterday. Communications had been very sketchy over the last few days. Most of the calls never went through.

He was almost to the office area when he heard the door start to open. He took up a position behind a large box and pointed his pistol in the direction of the door. He was ready to shoot. His finger eased up off of the trigger when he recognized one of his team.

"Where have you guys been?" The third man asked.

The other two men were a little startled to see a pistol pointed at them.

"What a way to greet someone." The fourth man said.

"I think 'hello' would have worked just fine." The fifth man said.

The third man waited a moment and then lowered his pistol.

"Where are the others at?" The third man asked.

The two new arrivals looked at each other for a moment.

"They're all dead." The fourth man said.

"Almost everything is destroyed." The fifth man said.

The new arrivals proceeded to fill in the third man on everything they'd witnessed and how they'd survived one of the attacks. They'd been trapped in wreckage and debris for an entire day. The first two men stopped looking for the crate and came over and listened as well. They were worried about their fate as well.

Lena and Tina listen to the update. They knew much of the damage the new men reported was done by the female Fanatic or them. It was clear there were still several locations which were functioning. They hadn't dealt with them yet. What they wanted to know is where the truck load of HK Tracks was headed.

CamNet's Terminators thought it was time to conduct a 'private interview' with some of the Grays. The homeless men had moved on. The female Fanatic currently dealt with her own predicament.

The female Fanatic was unsure what she was about to face. At least she was off of the main street. She didn't believe the truck driver would be able to hear or see what happened if she only used her Beretta. Whoever was in the gas station across the street more than likely would. If she needed to use the satchel charge against their vehicle, she was pretty sure everyone was going to hear it.

She saw the vehicle slow as she looked on from the side of the closed gas station. It was clear the vehicle was about to turn. She contemplated running back to her vehicle and try to go around the side of the gas station as they made their turn. There was no way to know what the timing would be to avoid them spotting her. She didn't want to be on her way to the vehicle if they turned in behind her vehicle from the side street.

As the vehicle passed by her side of the gas station, she broke into a run. She'd only spotted two occupants in it. She moved up along the side of the gas station and peered around the front of it. She saw the vehicle make the turn. She ran across the front side of the gas station and looked around the side again. She saw the tail end of the vehicle go behind the rear of the gas station. She continued to run along the opposite side of the building and stopped at the rear. She peered around the corner. Sure enough, the vehicle was stopped in back of hers.

She could see someone get out from the passenger side. She knew there were at least two of them. She didn't have a clear shot at the person in the driver's seat because of the angle the vehicle was stopped at.

The passenger approached her vehicle with a firearm in his hand. It was a handgun. He took a quick look in the interior.

"I don't see anyone." The passenger said. "The vehicle looks like it belongs to a homeless person."

The driver leaned out his window.

"They're around here somewhere." The driver said. "We were only about thirty seconds behind them."

When the driver leaned out, it gave the female Fanatic a clear shot. She took it.

She fired once at the driver. She scored a head shot. His body slumped over the side of the door. She zeroed in on the passenger. He was slow to react. She fired again. The shot hit him in the chest. The man staggered backward and fell. She wasn't sure he was dead yet. She kept their vehicle between the downed passenger and herself. She was aware if he got a shot at her legs, he might take it. She tried to keep at least one of the wheels between her and where the passenger went down at.

She quickly moved along the side of her vehicle. She went around the front of it. The passenger lay on the ground. He feebly held his firearm in his hand. It was pointed in the opposite direction. It was a direction she'd shot him from. She saw it slip from his hand and hit the pavement. He made no attempt to pick it up. She tucked her Beretta away. It wasn't very warm after firing only two rounds. She pulled out her knife and advance on the man.

She could see the life fade out of his eyes. She quickly relieved him of his wallet, phone and firearm on the ground. She moved to the SUV and looked inside of it. There were a couple of long guns and some extra magazines. She took both of those and the extra ammunition. She checked the driver hanging out of the window. She relieved him of his phone, wallet and a pistol as well. She pulled him back inside the door so he wasn't hanging over it. Someone was less likely to investigate if they didn't see a body hanging half out of a window.

She dumped everything in the front passenger seat of her car when she opened it and got in. She started it and drove away from the rear of the gas station. She came out along the side of it and rejoined the main highway. She didn't see anyone look in her direction. She pulled back out onto the main highway and crossed over the intersection. She stayed on the gas pedal pretty heavy.

The female Fanatic was in pursuit of the big rig. After a few minutes, she spotted the tail lights of the truck again. She checked behind her. Currently there were no headlights behind her. She wasn't sure how long it was going to last.

Figure It Out Later

One must go through life
As their own navigator
They must learn the rules
There's no personal translator

If they push their personal agenda
They may be viewed as a dictator
Their actions may seem harsh
Without a mediator or moderator

There may be a few
To whom they try to cater
Sooner rather than later
Someone will turn into a traitor

To try to get through life
They may become an imitator
They need to look around and ask
Who is the real orchestrator

To keep what is theirs
They will need to be a gladiator
To those around them
They will seem like a Terminator

Throw caution to the wind
Stay on the accelerator
It's time to play the game
Everyone can figure it out later

Nobody
