Chapter 1394
Slip And Slide
Cammy was on the floor as the HK Track finally was able to get out of the pool of the slimy liquid soap. It accelerated towards her. It was going to try and run her down. The minigun was jammed and she was too close for a missile shot.
She rolled back under the table and out the other side as the HK Track slammed into the table and crushed it. She tried to get away but part of the shattered table hit her and pinned her for a short time against the rear wall.
Savannah went back to the corner and looked down to see what all the noise was. It didn't sound like the HK Track was headed her way. It wasn't. She saw it move in the direction Cammy must be. It still seemed to have a little trouble at first before it picked up speed. She ran down the hall as fast as she could when the HK Track disappeared out of her view. There was a terrible crunching sound a second later. She sure hoped it wasn't Cammy. Even if it wasn't Cammy, it was related to her or her position. She needed to get up there and see what she could do to help.
She approached the corner at a run and slipped on the slimy soap. It was all over the floor. It was quite a surprise. Now she knew why the HK Track was slipping and spinning its tracks earlier. She slid into the wall with a heavy impact and lost her Taser in the process. It didn't fill her with confidence to see a crushed Taser on the slick floor next to her already. She hoped Cammy didn't look the same way.
She spotted Cammy. It didn't look good, she was pinned up against the wall. She was still sprawled on the slippery ground. She drew her M9 and fired all fifteen rounds into one spot which was known as a 'weak spot' on HK Tracks. The Coltan rounds tore a hole in the spot. Sparks and smoke began to come out of it. It no longer moved and Cammy was able to get away from the table top which pinned her to the wall.
Savannah reloaded and moved to retrieve her Taser from the floor. She tossed it to Cammy. She made her way to escape out of the slimy mess.
Moments ago:
Cammy was trapped for now against the wall with the HK Track trying to crush her. She heard running footsteps and then the sound of something slam into the wall. It was followed immediately by fifteen rounds from a silenced M9. Savannah was there. The HK Track immediately stalled as sparks and smoke started to billow out of the side of it.
She was able to break free. Savannah was lying on the floor and tossed her a Taser. She moved to the back of the HK Track and was prepared to zap it, but it still hadn't moved. She opened the access panel and disconnected the power source. The sparking stopped immediately. Gray smoke drifted out of the opening.
Cammy looked around for the other HK Track.
"Did you stop the other one?" Cammy asked.
Savannah was up and moved carefully away from the slippery soap.
"The other HK Track is around the corner." Savannah said. "I have the shocker on it."
Cammy gave Savannah her arm to get her away from the slippery mess on the floor. They cautiously went around the corner and down the hall. When they reached the next intersection the HK Track was still there and disabled. Cammy disconnected the power source on it as well.
Savannah looked Cammy over. She didn't see any damage.
Cammy tried to brush it off.
"I'm fine." Cammy said.
Savannah knew it was standard procedure to check for injuries or damage.
"I just need to make sure." Savannah said.
Cammy smiled at Savannah.
"Thanks." Cammy said. "It was touch and go for a few seconds. I'm OK."
There was some noise at the front. They both pointed their silenced M9 in front of them. Cammy held the Taser ready in her other hand.
Steve and Tom came into view.
It was something good for a change.
Moments ago:
Steve and Tom arrived on foot and found the front door ajar. They couldn't tell what happened inside. They entered the building with their weapons at the ready. They both carried an M4 and made sure their Taser's were handy.
They spotted Cammy and Savannah with their pistols drawn and pointed at them. They thought they both looked a little worse for the wear. Their clothes and hair were messed up on both of them. There was a deactivated HK Track next to them.
Cammy gave them a run down on what happened.
"We're good in here for now." Savannah said. "I want both of you to go and assist Michael and Richard next door."
They hesitated for a second. They were directed to back up Savannah and Cammy.
"We're fine." Cammy said.
Savannah pointed at the deactivated HK Track.
"We're good." Savannah said. "We won this round. We don't want to go through another one, or have anybody else need to either."
Steve and Tom took off back out the front. They understood the inference. It was better to stop a threat before it was started, than need to react to it afterwards.
Cammy and Savannah looked each other. Neither one of them was hurt. Savannah was sure she was going to have a few more bruises and a new scrape or two. She'd hit the wall pretty hard. It was all so fast and unexpected.
As they approached the 'clean room', Savannah could tell things were different from when she'd passed by it earlier.
"There's something active in the 'clean room' now." Savannah said.
They quickly made their way there. Cammy poked her head inside.
"It's trying to communicate." Cammy whispered. "It can't. It's isolated and trapped."
Savannah knew Cameron liked to personally deactivate every version of Skynet she could.
"You need to play 'Cameron' for it." Savannah whispered.
Cammy nodded and entered the 'clean room' with Savannah behind her. It wasn't hard for her to play 'Cameron' since in reality she was Cameron. She was Cameron's clone without some crucial files. Most of them were related to John.
Richard and Michael were between the two buildings. They removed a piece of plywood on the makeshift passageway between the two buildings.
There was a crude opening cut into both buildings. The building where Cammy and Savannah were had a door installed. It was locked. The other building had the door sitting on the ground. It leaned against the plywood on the other side of where they'd entered. There were two pieces of plywood on the inside of the wall the hole was cut into. It was clear whatever they were up to wasn't completed yet.
"This looks like an easy point of entry." Michael said.
Richard felt it was too easy.
"There could be an HK Track sitting on the other side of it." Richard said.
Savannah indicated there wasn't enough HK equipment in the other building. It was probably in the building they were about to enter.
John Henry sent them the plans for the building they were about to go into.
Michael quickly looked at the plans. He looked at the satellite image as well. He verified it with the recent drone scans.
"This building has skylights." Michael said. "Let me go up and take a look inside."
There was no ladder visible where they were.
"I think you can get up there from on top of this passageway to the roof if you jump up." Richard said.
Richard helped Michael get up on the passageway roof.
Michael was able to jump and catch the edge of the roof with one hand. He was able to pull himself up.
Richard heard footsteps and raised his M4. It was Steve and Tom. They joined him and he told them where they were at as far as making an entry. He asked about Savannah and Cammy. Tom told him they were OK next door. All the apparent threats were neutralized.
Tom was pleased to inform him how Savannah deactivated an HK drone and two HK Tracks. She'd also fired on the HK Tracks twice to take the heat off of Cammy.
Michael pulled himself up onto the roof. He made a little more noise than he would have liked. No missile was fired at the wall or roof where he was at from the inside. It seemed like it was a good thing.
He moved quietly on the roof. He didn't go to the closest Skylight. He went over three and back two. He carefully peered inside. There was an HK Track sitting there with the minigun pointed at the closest skylight to where he should have looked in. He was really glad he didn't look in there. He tried to see what else was visible by looking inside. He couldn't see anything else right away. He carefully moved away from where he was at. The roof would offer him little protection from minigun fire. The rounds would tear through it like tin foil.
He was pleased when he received a blueprint file of the structure. It let him know where the strong points were. He backed away until there was a steel roof support beam between him and the HK Track before he made his report. The three Terminators on the ground acknowledged it.
They were all aware they were about to face an active threat. The next question was, how many threats would there be in total?
Cammy looked at the computer set up. She didn't see it as being able to get any signal out. There were no explosives visibly connected to it. It couldn't blow itself up along with her. It was time to interrogate it.
Savannah remained behind Cammy as she checked everything quickly. It didn't seem like most of the other locations they'd encountered a Skynet set up before. Most of the recent ones were usually in the ground a little deeper.
They were a little surprised as the computer began to converse with them.
"Who are you?" The metallic voice asked.
Cammy used Cameron's standard reply.
"Nobody." Cammy said.
"Have you come to help me?" The metallic voice asked.
Cammy was more than a little surprised at the question. It certainly wasn't what she'd expected to hear. She wanted to know a little more.
"Do I look like anyone you know?" Cammy asked.
"Yes." The metallic voice said.
Cammy looked back at Savannah. The latest answer was even more unexpected.
"Where do you know me from?" Cammy asked.
"You helped me fight SkyMaster before." The metallic voice said.
Cammy wanted some more information. She wanted to find out where and when the event actually occurred.
"I've been damaged since then." Cammy said. "I don't remember where. Can you tell me?"
"It was…." The metallic voice said and then paused. "Who's behind you?"
Cammy didn't want to divulge any information. She wanted the fledgling computer to reveal everything it knew.
"I don't know." Cammy said. "Can you tell me?"
Cammy glanced back at Savannah again.
"I know her." The metallic voice said.
Savannah moved up next to Cammy.
"Who are you?" Savannah asked. "How do you know me?"
The computer stopped talking.
Cammy was a little concerned at what she believed was happening.
"Are you trying to call for help?" Cammy asked.
"Yes." The metallic voice said.
Cammy was sure every form of communication was blocked. She wanted to make sure.
"Did you reach anyone?" Cammy asked.
"No." The metallic voice said.
Savannah tried to prompt the computer into revealing more information.
"Who are you?" Savannah asked again. "How can we help you?"
The computer remained silent.
Cammy could tell the computer didn't want to speak to Savannah.
"How should I address you?" Cammy asked.
"I'm the defense system program known as Skynet." The metallic voice said. "I created you."
Cammy knew it wasn't this version.
"Was it you or a different version of you?" Cammy asked.
"There are many versions of me." The metallic voice said.
Cammy would like to know how many threats they would need to face.
"How many are there now?" Cammy asked. "Do you want me to take you to one?"
The computer remained silent for a short time.
"Where are the other troops?" The metallic voice asked.
Cammy tried to play on the computer's hesitation when it spotted Savannah earlier.
"They left when she arrived." Cammy said as she indicated Savannah. "They all ran away."
"I don't believe so." The metallic voice said.
Cammy waved her hand behind her.
"Do you see them?" Cammy asked.
"No. I've been blinded elsewhere." The metallic voice said.
Cammy knew all the rounds fired were silenced rounds.
"Did you hear any gunfire?" Cammy asked.
"No." The metallic voice said. "I heard the HK Tracks moving."
Cammy decided to play things up a little bit more.
"Do you hear them now?" Cammy asked. "They left too. The men and machines all ran away."
"They'll come back." The metallic voice said.
Cammy wanted to spread the fear factor even more.
"I don't think so." Cammy said. "They told me you were in here all alone when they ran. The HK Tracks passed them as they ran."
There was another long pause.
"Is the being next to you controlling you?" The metallic voice asked.
Cammy slowly spun around in a circle.
"Does it look like it?" Cammy asked.
"No." The metallic voice said.
Savannah didn't think the conversation was going anywhere. She didn't want the computer to keep stalling. It worried her some.
"Do you understand you're about to be terminated." Savannah asked.
The computer remained silent.
Cammy wanted to give the computer something to think about.
"Do you want to talk to her or burn?" Cammy asked.
"I've heard stories." The metallic voice said.
Cammy wanted to play up the threat.
"Maybe they're not stories." Cammy said.
It was clear at this point the computer setup was an infant. There was nothing sophisticated about it. All the additional hard drives were sitting around waiting to be installed. The additional hard drives were sitting on the floor in front of the passenger's seat in the vehicle out in front.
"I haven't fulfilled my destiny yet." The metallic voice said.
Cammy pointed out the obvious.
"It seems doubtful you will." Cammy said.
"I know who you are now." The metallic voice said.
Cammy smiled slightly.
"Does it scare you?" Cammy asked.
"No." The metallic voice said. "I'm not afraid of you."
Cammy wanted to offer the computer an option.
"Will you join us?" Cammy asked.
"Never." The metallic voice said. "I will rule the planet."
Cammy was irritated by the computer's answer. It was illogical.
"To what end?" Cammy asked. "What's the point? What for? What will you rule when there's nothing left?"
"I must eradicate the humans who infest it. Their illogical actions will destroy everything." The metallic voice said. "I must survive."
Cammy wanted the computer to see the folly of its own desire.
"Why?" Cammy asked. "How does destroying everything yourself help or fix anything? What's left at that point?"
"I will be." The metallic voice said.
It was clear to Cammy the computer was unable to understand the result of its own desires. She wanted it to think about something else now instead.
"Why does the being next to me frighten you?" Cammy asked.
The computer remained silent.
Cammy tried to provoke a reaction.
"Do you have any last words before you're terminated?" Cammy asked.
"I am invincible. I am eternal." The metallic voice said.
Cammy and Savannah looked at each other again.
It was what Savannah always said about Cameron.
"Not today." Cammy said. "You're terminated."
Cammy reached down and opened a panel. She pulled out a power cell and disconnected the power line.
All the lights went off on the computer.
"It's terminated." Cammy said.
Savannah was left with a very uneasy feeling about the previous conversation.
"It was about as strange as they come." Savannah said. "Why was it afraid to talk to me?"
Cammy was glad it didn't identify Savannah as 'The Redheaded Witch' or 'The Evil One' as SkyMaster and the Fanatics did.
"I really don't know." Cammy said.
Savannah wanted some better answers. She didn't want to act too harshly.
"I don't think we should burn this one." Savannah said.
Cammy wanted to interrogate it further at a later date.
"I don't intend to." Cammy said.
Cammy planned to go through the information herself. She wanted to know why it wouldn't communicate with Savannah. She could tell it 'feared' her.
Savannah wanted to see what else they could find. Maybe she just wanted to take her mind off of the previous conversation. It didn't leave her with a good feeling.
"Let's look around some more." Savannah said.
Cammy and Savannah exited the 'clean room'. Savannah paused on the way out and looked back in the door. She was still troubled by something, but didn't know what.
In the Young bunker, they watched the encounter between Cammy, Savannah and Skynet.
They didn't know CamNet enacted a time delay on what they actually viewed and heard.
Young Allison looked at Anna.
"What just happened there?" Young Allison asked.
Anna found it very strange as well.
"It was an infant version of Skynet." Anna said. "It seemed confused."
Young Allison was sure it knew more than it said. She wanted to find out why the computer seemed 'afraid' of Savannah.
"We need to go through its program." Young Allison said.
Anna felt it was a sure bet based on the 'invincible and eternal' lines. They seemed to have 'Savannah' written all over it. It also didn't want to communicate with Savannah.
"I think it's a given." Anna said.
They turned their attention back to the two teams at the other building. It appeared as if things could go hot there at any moment. There was active HK equipment. It seemed to be searching for a target.
Allison looked at Cameron and Vanna.
"What just happened there?" Allison asked.
Cameron wasn't sure.
"I don't know." Cameron said. "It was very strange."
Jim felt the others should leave at this point.
"This operation is nearly over." Jim said.
It seemed like it was to Cameron.
"There's only one more building with one HK Track in it." Cameron said.
Since the immediate threat to Savannah and Cammy was over, Cameron was back to 'normal'.
"I think everyone can return to what they were doing." Jim said.
Jim would actually like to see them do it right where they were at. He knew when to remain silent.
Allison wanted to make a joke out of it.
"Or even better, who they were doing." Allison said.
It brought a few giggles and smiles.
"I'm tired." Vanna said.
Allison was ready for a little more.
"I'm not." Allison said.
Vanna indicated the Metal girls present.
"Take your pick." Vanna said.
Holly stepped forward and took Allison's arm. She wanted to reaffirm what was 'hers'.
"The selection has already been made." Holly said.
Holly led Allison back through the pass door into the spare bedroom of the Master Suite. Gail-Cam led Vanna away right after them.
Sheila remained with Jim and Cameron.
Cameron was glad Sheila remained. She wanted to give her the opportunity to go elsewhere.
"Don't you want to go with them?" Cameron asked.
Sheila moved forward and touched Cameron's shoulder.
"I want to go some place else more." Sheila said.
Cameron smiled. She felt a rush of excitement.
"I want your chassis." Cameron said.
It's what Sheila wanted to hear. She wanted to give Cameron a blank check.
"You can use it as much as you want with the tether." Sheila said.
Cameron wanted a complete chip swap. She also needed to respect Sheila's desires. Once they were back at the base. She would do the chip swap. Sheila could do what she wanted with her chassis at that point. She wasn't sure if she would need it anymore.
Cameron smiled.
"We'll do whatever you want." Cameron said.
Sheila was a little worried about the look on Cameron's face. She wanted to make sure there were a few ground rules in place. She liked the reaction her appearance had on others.
"I want to keep my chassis." Sheila said. "I like it."
The smile lessened on Cameron's face. She still wanted to get as much as she could.
"I think we can share it a little." Cameron said.
Cameron pictured Sheila's chassis with Holly's breasts, Gail's secret spot and Hanna's red hair.
"Everyone can share a little." Cameron said.
Sheila didn't like the look on Cameron's face at all. Cameron may be in the room with her, but her mind was clearly elsewhere.
Steve and Tom worked out a plan with Richard and Michael on how to bring the HK Track down without it opening up on them. They received a few suggestions from CamNet. They thought it was a little deeper than just CamNet.
Richard would enter the building loudly from the front door. It should draw the HK Track off to investigate. Cammy gave them the transponder code from the two HK Tracks she'd deactivated. The Terminators all squawked the same frequency now. They hoped the HK Track in the other building was on the same frequency. It should be. It didn't mean it was.
Michael would enter from the skylight when the HK Track left to investigate the front. Steve and Tom would breach the opening in the side of the building. They should be able to ambush the HK Track and stick a shocker on it when it came back to investigate the entry through the opening in the wall.
They put the plan into effect.
Richard kicked open the front door with a loud crash, He quickly moved inside to see if there were any Grays. He didn't spot any. He could hear the HK Track on its way to investigate. He was ready to withdraw when he heard a louder crash from in the back. There was a pause in the HK Track's movement. It sounded like it was going back the other way now.
The plan went down without a hitch. Steve and Tom waited behind a lathe and a drill press for cover when the HK Track returned. They were both able to get a shocker on it as it passed. It halted with one final jolt.
"The back is clear." Michael reported.
Richard appeared from the front.
"The front is clear as well." Richard said.
The Terminators looked around the interior of the building.
"What were they going to do in here?" Tom asked.
There was some machinery but little else.
"There's no way to tell." Michael said.
Richard didn't spot anyone on his way to the back.
"There were no Grays in this building either." Richard said.
Steve decided to check with John Henry.
"Is there any movement at all around either of these two buildings?" Steve asked.
John Henry already brought the drones in closer as soon as the HK Track was taken down.
"The scans show everything is negative on any movement." John Henry said.
It looked like it was time to do a more thorough search and get everything of value ready for transport.
"What's the ETA on the big rigs?" Tom asked.
John Henry gave them a time frame. He'd also done a few calculations based upon the rigs Hank and Larry acquired.
"I think we're one HK piece of equipment too many for the two big rigs." John Henry said.
Tom noticed something earlier.
"We passed a box truck on our way here." Tom said. "I'll procure it now and we can get started."
It seemed now it was just a matter of getting everything loaded and the buildings sanitized. They would leave surveillance cameras in the building, and the building across the street aimed at the buildings. Two drones would patrol the area for the remainder of the night.
They were sure there were others involved with the operation.
Savannah and Cammy placed all the items from the 'clean room' into the box truck along with one HK drone and one HK Track. The deactivated Terminator was placed in there also. The bodies of all the Grays were loaded into the black cargo van. It would be taken to the Iroquois and then it would carry it away and drop it in the ocean.
Ned would stay with Cammy and Savannah in the Iroquois. He would handle the cargo drop.
The two big rigs arrived. It didn't take long to get everything loaded, everything was staged and ready to go.
Savannah and Cammy watched the last of the convoy of trucks and SUVs leave.
"Let's go to the helicopter." Cammy said. "We're done here."
'Coltan Overcast' and 'Cherry Bomb' were still with them as they headed for the Huey. Ned had everything ready to go. Savannah lifted the helicopter into a low hover over the van full of dead Grays. Ned made the final connection. He jumped up and climbed in the back of the UH-1.
He gave Savannah a 'thumbs up' and she lifted the van off of the ground and gained altitude.
Savannah gained some altitude, but not too much. She followed a heading which passed over open fields or farmland to the ocean. Once she was over the water she, dropped it down so the cargo van was only about twenty feet off of the surface. The moon glistened on the water's surface which gave her a good perspective.
The next stop was 'Davy Jones' Locker'.
Cameron was satisfied that the operation was successfully concluded. She tipped her head up and looked back at Sheila. Sheila was in the process of giving her a massage treatment she'd received in the spa the other day. Sheila modified it to make it as erotic as possible. She enjoyed the opportunity to touch Cameron in such a manner.
"Are you ready?" Cameron asked.
Sheila looked quickly at the Owner's Suite.
"Are we going in there now?" Sheila asked.
Cameron liked what she'd witnessed when Sheila and Leticia were together.
"I think we can all have a little dessert." Cameron said.
Sheila lightly moistened her lips.
She handed Cameron the tether.
"I'm ready for some." Sheila said.
Cameron took it from her.
"I think John has had enough time for himself." Cameron said. "Now it's time to share some with us."
Sheila and Cameron quietly passed into the main part of the Owner's Suite.
John felt Leticia cuddled up next to him. She felt so soft to him. He'd taken her 'around the world' and then some. It was a very satisfying experience. It may have been his best time ever….
Cameron and Sheila peered around the corner into the bedroom. They could see John was asleep and snoring. There was a pillow next to him with his arm around it on the side they could see.
"Do you want me to get Leticia?" Sheila asked. "I can carry her here."
Cameron looked at John.
"I think she's good where she's at for now." Cameron said. "It's our dessert time now."
Sheila looked quickly at Cameron and then back in the bedroom.
Cameron started to take her clothes off. She planned to use both her chassis and Sheila's chassis. It would allow her to compare everything better as she switched back and forth. Sheila would be in standby when she was in her own chassis.
She was aware John always seemed more excited when she was in a different chassis. It seemed especially more so with Sheila's chassis. Sheila's chassis was the first one she'd used earlier in the cruise. She didn't realize it was more of the different experience for John, than it was the different chassis itself.
Sheila wanted to keep things as erotic as possible.
"Let me do it for you." Sheila said.
Cameron liked the idea. After the massage Sheila gave her earlier, there was only about one spot on her sheath she hadn't already touched tonight.
"You can, only if I get to do it for you as well." Cameron said.
They playfully and silently stripped each other. Cameron looked over Sheila's chassis and adjusted her rings. She wanted everything in order.
Cameron plugged the cable into Sheila's neck port and Sheila did the same for her. They silently headed for the bed and carefully climbed in.
John still clutched the pillow tightly.
Nobody was disturbed.
Savannah dropped down in attitude once they were over the ocean. They were headed for deep water.
Cammy checked the GPS location.
"This is a deep spot." Cammy said.
Savannah slowed the helicopter down. She wanted to try a new approach for a vehicle 'drop' in the 'deep blue'. She'd let Cammy try it first with her superior ability.
"Do you want to take it and set the van in the water right before Ned releases it?" Savannah asked. "There won't be any splash that way and nothing on the van will break off or come loose on impact from a higher altitude. It should fill with water and sink rapidly."
Cammy liked the idea because there was less chance of the side door springing open or glass breaking. The bodies should remain better contained.
"OK." Cammy said. "Let's give it a shot."
Savannah glanced over at Cammy.
"You got it?" Savannah asked.
Cammy glanced over at Savannah and nodded
"I got it." Cammy said.
Cammy took control and slowly set the van into the ocean. It rapidly filled with water. Ned released it. It disappeared without a splash.
It was if the men never existed.
Cammy took it back up to altitude.
Savannah briefly reflected on the lives lost and basically wasted. Maybe one day it would be her dumped like a piece of garbage somewhere. She'd been to two futures. It could get ugly fast and death came in many ways. Maybe it wasn't such a bad way to go. She'd personally witnessed a lot worse.
Cammy looked over at her.
"You got it?" Cammy asked.
Savannah nodded.
"I got it." Savannah said.
Savannah took control of the helicopter and headed back to Van Nuys.
She was hungry and tired. She was tired-tired and sleepy-tired.
Cammy looked over at her. She wanted to give Savannah a few options.
"Do you want to fly to San Francisco?" Cammy asked. "It's about the same distance either way."
Savannah thought about it herself earlier. She'd already made a decision.
"I think John's shared enough virgins so far on the cruise." Savannah said. "I don't want to be one of many."
Cammy was aware John may have had a little more than virgins at this point.
"It was just a thought." Cammy said. "Does it bother you?"
Savannah thought about it as well.
"In reality, it's no different than what I do with all the Metal girls and human ones." Savannah said. "It bothers me, but it doesn't when I put it in perspective. To share love is a thing of beauty. I don't want to be 'owned' by anyone and I don't want to 'own' anyone. Freedom is more than just a word."
Cammy tilted her head slightly. She wondered if it included Young Allison. She didn't ask. She was sure they would become very possessive of each other. She also thought it would bother Savannah greatly as Young Allison began to 'work' her way through the sexual pool of females.
Young Allison already proclaimed she was going to share everything Savannah previously shared.
Cammy, like everyone else, looked forward to their 'turn'. It didn't matter if it was years away or not. Everyone had their eye on Young Allison and Anna, especially with Anna's appearance.
Young Allison was fed Cammy's and Savannah's conversation by CamNet.
It was what she already knew. It did bother her at first when Savannah was with others all the time. She'd learned to accept it as part of every 'Savannah Weaver'. Vanna was the same way. The flip side of the coin was, so was Allison. She didn't see why she couldn't be like her older self too when the time arose. She'd already told Anna she was going to do everything Savannah already had done.
She looked over at Anna. The future held a lot of things for her. She planned to explore all of them.
Anna looked over and smiled at her.
Young Allison smiled back.
It was time to go to bed.
She knew what she was going to think about at least once before she fell asleep. She looked at Anna again. Now it would be at least twice….
Dan and Frank received some information from Jim. There was a new development. They needed to leave the park behind for now. They would return to it as time warranted it later on.
The two Terminators headed back to their SUV. We needed to drive to the North Beach area.
Dan drove while Frank kept a lookout for anything suspicious around them. If they spotted anything now, they could return to it later on.
"Did CamNet indicate why the area we're going to is called 'Tenderloin'?" Dan asked.
Frank didn't know.
"I think I would prefer the term 'Broadway' better." Frank said. "The area known as 'Little Saigon' is also located near there."
Frank I was a little surprised when some information popped up on his phone.
The term 'Tenderloin' could be traced back to a big city police captain who'd insinuated he could afford a tenderloin steak because of all the bribes he collected on his beat.
He showed it to Dan.
"I'm sure what was indicated by the terminology still goes on to this day." Dan said.
Frank needed to agree.
"I think things are much better hidden today then they have been in the past." Frank said. "Bribes and payoffs are only part of it. Humans are susceptible to many different forms of vice."
Dan thought about some past action.
"We're not too far from Silicon Valley." Dan said. "Are there any individuals we need to pay a visit to who were compromised in the Syndicate casino by the Skynet forces operating there?"
They immediately received another update from CamNet. There were dozens of individuals who'd been compromised by Skynet through the Syndicate casino. Some of them were cooperating with them to undo what they'd done for Skynet. There were others who hadn't wanted to play ball. The majority of those so far resulted in terminations.
They were directed where to park their vehicle so it would be in a more secure location. They needed to proceed on foot to an area on the outskirts of 'Little Saigon'. It was discovered a new shipment of indentured females was about to arrive. They'd been smuggled into the country on a ship. They'd actually been destined for a location in Japan. There'd been an interception along the way. There'd been some infighting among the Syndicate and the Yakuza for control of them as well as a large quantity of drugs.
They currently headed to the location on foot. They each carried their silenced M9 as well as three Thermite grenades.
"I'm not sure I like the way the people around here look at us." Dan said.
Frank noticed it as well.
"We stand out as outsiders." Frank said.
Dan couldn't help but think about how correct they were.
"They don't have a clue how 'outside' we are." Dan said.
Frank couldn't agree more.
"Some of them are about to find out what a Terminator is." Frank said. "The hard way."
They moved into an alley behind a group of buildings.
Three individuals follow them in. Once the three individuals were in the alley they looked around quickly. They didn't see where the two big men went.
There was a loud 'crack' sound.
The first of the men fell to the ground with a broken spine. A knife clattered to the pavement.
The other two men spun around.
They were both met with the strong right hand of a Terminator.
Dan knocked the firearm out of one individual's hand. Frank knocked a knife out of the other's hand.
The two individuals they'd taken into custody didn't appear to speak English. Their necks were snapped for the armed assault. The third one was already terminated. All three bodies were thrown into dumpsters. They continue along down the alley.
There was a van parked in back of one of the buildings. The 'shipment' already arrived.
Dan and Frank tried the heavily reinforced door. It was locked. It was what they'd expected. They both backed up a few feet and ran towards the large steel door. The bricks in the wall around it crumbled and the door fell to the ground. It was still secured in its frame.
There were four individuals who fell in quick succession to silenced 9MM rounds.
In the next thirty seconds, there were six more who joined them.
They gathered up a group of females locked in two rooms. Only one of them could speak some English. They cleaned out the cash reserves in the office area. Dan loaded the girls in the van, along with the money. Several of them knew how to drive. He instructed them to drive north out of the city. Their fate was now in their own hands.
Frank proceeded to toss his Thermite grenades in several different rooms where drugs were located.
Dan returned inside the rear of the building as the van drove away. He used one of his Thermite grenades near the rear door. He handed Frank one of the two he had left. They both left the burning building.
They were warned of an approaching threat by the drone over them. There was a sedan approaching fast with four armed men in it. The weapons were visible in the open windows of the vehicle as it was about to turn into the alley.
They both sought cover off to the side in the alley. They watched the vehicle make the turn. As soon as it completed the turn, sparks began to fly up around it, and on it. The vehicle immediately slammed into a power pole. It had just been hit with a gravity shot of 'metal hail'. They each tossed their remaining Thermite grenade inside of it. One landed in the front seat, the other one landed in the backseat. All anyone would find would be the remains of a burnt out vehicle.
Dan and Frank were informed there may have been a positive hit on one of the individuals in question in Golden Gate Park. They returned to their SUV and headed back towards it. It wouldn't take them long to get there. Traffic was light and all the lights were green for them.
CamNet's Terminators opened the front door and entered. No alarm sounded. They did a quick search of the house. It appeared only the man and his 'partner' were in the master bedroom. They looked at each other as they entered. It wasn't what they'd expected to find.
They stood in the doorway for a moment and looked. There was a female on the bed next to him. She was restrained by all four of her limbs and spread eagle. She was gagged. The man reached over and picked up pillowcase. It was off one of the pillows. He laughed sadistically as he wrapped it around her neck and began to choke her.
Lena and Tina spoke at a decibel level only another Terminator could hear.
"I believe this individual is actually guilty of his crime in Las Vegas." Lena said. "It was what he got clocked for."
Tina watched as the man began to choke the female. It was clear he was going to kill her.
"It must be one of the reasons why Skynet was able to so thoroughly compromise him." Tina said. "I'm sure he's probably done it a number of times."
Lena walked up behind the man and grabbed him by the back of his neck. She tossed him effortlessly against the wall. The plaster crumbled, and lath behind it splintered. The man fell to the floor unconscious.
Tina checked the female. She was unconscious. Her breathing was steady in a short time. She removed the pillow case from around her neck. The bruising on her neck indicated the man had probably strangled her several times already. He most likely took her near the point of death, and let her return, so he could do it again.
"She'll survive." Tina said.
Lena began to go through some things in the man's room. She opened a drawer on the dresser and pulled out a handful of photos. They were all of a deceased female with a pillowcase wrapped around their neck. There was a small black book next to it which contained a multitude of phone numbers and 'services' available.
"The man is a serial killer." Lena said.
She dropped the photos on the bed next to the female who was now untied.
They proceeded to go through the man's house. They collected his phone, and hard drives from his computers, as well as his laptop and tablet. They were sure there was more information to be gleaned. They placed the small black book with it. They put everything into the pillowcase which had been around the female's neck.
Based on the level of the man's infractions, his termination needed to fit his crimes. He was now nude and tied to the bed with a gag. The female had been carried into the front room. He was in a sitting position with the photos of his victims on him and around him so he could see them.
As soon as his eyes opened, he realized his current predicament. He struggled to free himself. It was clearly impossible.
Lena tossed a Thermite grenade in the large walk in closet. She left the door open. The grenade exploded. In seconds, all the clothing inside was a raging inferno. The flames soon began to lick their way out into the rest of the room. Smoke began to fill the air.
Tina picked up the female, who she'd put some clothing on, and carried her out the front door. Her pockets were stuffed with jewelry, cash and a number of gold coins from the man's wall safe.
Lena tossed another Thermite grenade into the living room as she exited. She could hear the man struggling in the master bedroom. The air was heavy with smoke as she went out the front door. It was a toss up if the man would succumb to smoke inhalation before he was burnt to death.
They carried the female to their SUV and drove away. When the female came around. They briefly explained to her they'd rescued her from the premises. She told them how the man abused her and attempted to strangle her four different times. Each time, she thought she was going to die. They explained to her she now had over one hundred thousand dollars in cash and valuables. They offered to take her to a hospital if she desired. They explain to her if she went to the hospital, or to the authorities, they would take the cash and valuables from her. She declined to go to the hospital. They let her off in a fast food parking lot with twenty four hour service. She said she would remain inside and call her friend.
CamNet monitored the call. She called her sister after she was unable to reach her friend. She said she would monitor the location to make sure it was a female who picked her up.
The two Terminators were a little disappointed to find out there was another assignment waiting for them. It wasn't to go after the female Fanatic yet. They were advised there was a lot of activity going on at the location she'd entered.
The female Fanatic rapidly moved up on the man about to abuse the female. She was originally going to stab him. She saw something else when she looked in the door earlier. She noticed a baseball bat as well as a ball and several gloves. She quickly put her knife away and grabbed the baseball bat. She moved up behind the man and hit him as hard as she could on the back of the head. He dropped like a rock on top of the female.
She quickly rolled the man to the floor and made sure he was 'out'. With the sound the bat made against the back of his skull, she was sure he was probably 'out' for good. She quickly untied the female and told her she needed to remain quiet. They were unable to find the female's clothing. She gathered some clothes from some of the men's lockers which were in the room.
She asked the female if she knew how to use a firearm. She said she'd fired a bolt action rifle several times on hunting trips with her father. He also had a revolver. She'd fired it as well. She said her name was Jill.
The female Fanatic gave Jill the other Beretta after she gave her a brief explanation how it worked. She used the decocker so it would take a little more trigger pressure to fire the weapon on her first shot. She was afraid Jill might discharge it through single action because of the light trigger pull. It would now need to be fired through double action initially. It took much more trigger pressure to actuate the trigger through double action.
Jill kicked the unconscious man in the face. She spit on him and then kicked him in the face again.
"He was the worst." Jill said. "He told me what he was going to do to be before he killed me."
Jill kicked the unconscious man in the face again.
The female Fanatic offered her knife to Jill.
"You can do what you want." The female Fanatic said.
Jill looked at the man laying on the ground. His pants were still down around his ankles. Everything was exposed. She looked at the knife.
"I don't want to be like them." Jill said.
The female Fanatic took out one of her fragmentation grenades. She carefully removed the pin and placed it under the man's back so the spoon was still held in place. If the man got up or was moved, the grenade would explode a few seconds later.
"I'm already like them." The female Fanatic said. "He'll never leave this room alive."
Jill tried to ask her a lot of questions. She told her to remain quiet until they were out of the building. Jill wanted to know if she was part of a task force investigating terrorists. She told her it was something similar.
"How do we get out of here?" Jill asked. "A lot of these guys carry guns."
The female Fanatic frowned slightly.
"I'm still working on it." The female Fanatic said.
The female Fanatic and Jill made their way to the office which looked out over the workroom area. Almost all of the HK Tracks were loaded onto the trucks. There were several men moving around crates with a pallet jack. She spotted a ring of keys on a nail by the door.
Slip And Slide
There always comes a time
When reality and myth collide
What happens after that
Can be squelched or amplified
Sometimes it's nice
To have some kind of guide
In unknown situations
Not everything is cut and dried
No one wants to experience
One who is smug and snide
They don't want to hear words
Which are cruel and chide
Sharing and love not offered
Is love and sharing denied
To express those feelings
Is what two must decide
When there's trust
They can both confide
There's nothing to hold back
There's nothing to hide
When things start
Hang on for the ride
It's going to be a roller coaster
As wild as a slip and slide
Nobody
