(A/N: Hey guys been a few months, been busy working. And I just recently got a puppy. So thats been eating allot of my free time. So here's a "deleted scene". I keep almost everything I write and have a habit of making multiple documents when I chance things. I have the real Chapter 7 almost finished. Hope everyone's been doing great.
Dominic POV
It's warm here, I like that. I want to stay. No fighting, no fear, nothing to worry about. No lies, and no truths. Just this warm comforting darkness. Colors known and unknown swim in my vision, creating vague half pictures of memories. I see me and my brothers, Damien watching over us as Deadric climbs a tree and me and Tri stick fight as we always did.
The image changes and we're hiding, Damien's at the table with Mom and Dad, Mom's crying and Dad's comforting her with an arm around her shoulder. Their explaining something to Dame, I don't really understand. His face is hard set, his blue eyes shining with an inner light. A determination that would never fade from them. Tri clutches my arm tighter and I pull my sick weaker twin into a hug. Is he so weak cause I'm so strong?
"Everything will be okay Tri," I reassure him.
"Promise?"
I smile down at him, but its not honest, so all I manage is a crooked grin that seems to do the job. "I promise." Looks like I've been lying allot longer than I thought, and to more people.
The scene melts into a mess of color and light, I start to get angry. At myself, at this world, at those glowing red eyes that brought me here. Almost as if on cue the color around me shifts, turning a bloody crimson. Slowly forming into the eyes that I dream about almost every night.
"I'm going to kill you," I state to the eyes and in a blink I'm holding Twi and La. Twi being pure gravity dust, but La sporting glowing white dust in full katana form.
The eyes narrow, almost in amusement. "Try," it whispers. "Try," it says a bit louder its back lit smile appearing. "TRY!" It yells at me and I rush foreword. "TRY! TRY! TRY!" The yells echo as it starts feeling like I'm running through mud. I look down and see the darkness crawling up my legs, inky black tendrils that begin to pull me under. But I push through as the voice continues to order me to try to kill it.
I slash in vain, almost reaching that arrogant wide and honest smile. I hate it, the power it has to eat a sun, I feel the blackness start to constrict my chest. I hate its laugh as I stop struggling, I hate its glowing red glare. And I hate that I can't smile honestly like it can….. I stare directly into the crimson, the darkness reaching my throat.
"I won't try. I'LL SUCCEED!"
As the darkness consumes my vision, I here it whisper, in a low almost seductive tone. "I can't wait to see."
/
I snap awake, covering my eyes at the sudden light. Why's there a weight on my leg?
I look down to see a mess of white hair with a uniformed body sitting in a chair that's been pulled to my bedside, uh oh. I wasn't expecting her to be like this, I notice I'm hooked up to an IV and a heart monitor. "So that's almost dying huh?" I blink as the realization sets in. Slowly, very slowly, I inch Winter's head off my lap.
Luckily I don't wake her up, I pull the needle out of my arm with a hiss, I fucking hate needles. Searching around the medical room I quickly find my scroll; it's been three days; my jeans, and my leather jacket. A giant Ace Op's logo now patching together the tear from Gambol Shroud which I roll my eyes at before looking down at the bandages crossing my torso.
I rip them off letting them fall loosely to the ground, I check my back in the mirror to see a thin red line stretching from mid back above my left hip to the tip of my right shoulder. "Bitch got me good huh?" I throw my jacket on, not being able to find a shirt and not caring. Finding my boots, I vaguely think about getting a new pair before leaving the room.
I walk through the halls, tracing my path to the entrance, almost in a trance like state. My last memories before losing conscious were Clover, Marrow yelling his Stay command; should probably try that out sometime. And a pair of golden eyes, "Dominic meh boy, what're ya doing up and about?" The raspy voice of He'ron sounds behind me and I jump to face him.
I was almost out of the doors, not realizing it was late enough for the night shift. Oh if people only knew why he was the night guard. I experienced it my first escape attempt and lets just say there is a reason. Why wasn't he in the show? Is this string in the multiverse that different from what I know?
"I just woke up, and figured I'd go for some fresh air," he nods, so I take that as the sign I'm good to go.
"You coming back?"
I turn my head back and give a smile, "If I said no?" His face darkens slightly. "I'm only going down to Mantle. I'm gonna meet up with the other Ace's at that club they've been tryin gto get me to go to. I just survived a life threating injury thought I'd go have some fun, message Clover in an hour and if I'm lying you can just pull me back here anyway," I wink backing out of the door as the old man chuckles and sits back down.

Clover POV
I lean against the bar watching my team dance, sipping on some drink Harriet ordered for me. I can't bring myself to have much fun, Dom's stable but he still hasn't woken up. Even Prof Poulendina doesn't know what's going on.
The song ends and Har and Marrow come back to the bar while the odd couple keeps dancing, "WATER!" Marrow yells at the bartender.
"Clover come dance, it'll help you take your mind off stuff," she begs grabbing my free hand.
I chuckle and wave her off, "Nah I'm good Har," she pouts which is cute I won't lie.
"Kid still out cold?" Robyn asks leaning against the bar, this club only opened up about three months ago but was quite popular. Known for playing the newest music from across the kingdoms, quite the place for mantle.
"Yeah, but he's stable so you shouldn't worry. No internal damages, just a massive aura fatigue." Marrow explains chugging water like there's no tomorrow.
"I'm still blaming myself for not jumping in sooner, he's our teammate, we should've helped," I sigh letting my head hang.
"That's all it takes to break our luck god of a leader," my head jolts up to see the cocky smile of Dominic Fain staring back at me. "Really Clo, I wouldn't get in my way when I'm going full force either. Bartender, throw me 8 shots, top shelf." He flashes his scroll and hands me a shot after their poured, I'm still blinking at him in shock.
"What, I'm not a ghost am I? It's my fist shot, like ever. You better down it," he tips the glass back quickly and I can't help but finally laugh at the soured face he makes.
"Better late than never," Vine says, him and Elm having finally walked up. They take their offered shots from Dom and down them as I finally take mine.
"Speaking of late," Robyn waves over her team. Joanna is dressed the same as always while the small sheep girl Fiona is sporting glow stick rings around her ears along with a tight fitting sparkling white dress that cuts off after her knees. A pair of matching white pumps completes her outfit.
"You?" May cocks a hip as Dominic looks over, his eyes going a little wide but most people wouldn't notice. The kids great at concealing his emotions. She's wearing a mid drift black top that shows off a good amount of skin with a chain choker hanging loose, its covered with a brown vest with allot of beads and feathers hanging from stings of leather. Finished with skin tight black leggings that lead down to spiked combat boots.
"Never though I'd meet a woman here that didn't ware heels," he slides them their shots. He had ordered just enough as Robyn had her own drink.
"I like how they look for certain things," she tucks piece of hair behind an ear looking down at her boots. "But I think there hard to dance and fight in," she smiles lightly at him.
"Their not as bad as you think," Robyn comments looking between me, Dominic and May.
"You should dance with us," Fiona also sensing something with her faunus instincts grabs Dom's arm attempting to drag him to the floor. "It took me forever to convince these two to come here," she pleads when he doesn't budge.
"Sorry, I'm sure this little playboy would love too. But he's taken and surprisingly loyal," Harriet hugs him from behind pressing her chest into his back to which Dom sighs and slowly forces her away with his semblance.
"I don't know how thats surprising," he mumbles rolling his eyes at her fake hurt face. She had given up some time ago but loved teasing him and Winter.
"Speaking of which, why didn't the Ice Queen come with you?" Marrow speaks up clapping him on the shoulder.
"I left her sleeping, didn't want to wake her. And I needed to let you guys know I was okay, my scroll wasn't letting me call or text," he shrugs and orders a soda with a second shot.
"Wait, you're Winny's boyfriend?" May's jaw drops as she points at him.
"Winny? Wait you're friends with Winter? I mean that makes sense," he whispers at the end and I barely catch it.
"Oh yeah, we've been trying to get her to join the huntresses for about a year now," Fiona buts in placing both her hands on her hips and sighing. "It was adorable, she rushed down to May's place in the middle of the night to borrow cloths for your first date." Dominic raises an eyebrow at that but shrugs something off.
He gives May another hard look up and down, "Makes sense, that wasn't her style at all, but I could see it on you."
"Thanks," she giggles lightly. "It looked great on her though, well glad to see you're okay," she waves before being dragged to the dance floor by the little sheep bouncing to the beat.
He waves back with his normal grin and goes back to drinking his soda, we chat for a bit about the three days he's been out but as the next song comes on his head jerks to the speaker. "Song sound familiar?" I ask.
"Yeah kinda," his eyes are drawn to the dance floor where the other Ace's have returned to their fun. Then to Robyn's group, when Fiona notices him staring she starts coaching May on more suggestive dance moves. Which she messes most of them up and just ends up laughing having fun with her friends.
A warm smile spreads across Dominic's face, the first true smile I've seen from him since he's been under my care. "Watch as much as you want, I won't tell Winter," I wink at him.
He rolls his eyes before his guards back up and the normal charming grin is back in place, "I'm just glad I was able to save someone." He shrugs before finishing his pop, "I'm heading back, I'm still tired and I want to be back before Winter wakes up." He gives a two finger salute to me and Robyn before he walks around the crowd and out of sight.
"He came here to check on May," Robyn states bluntly taking a sip of her drink.
"Ya think?" I laugh. "Don't know why he's with Winter."
"He's going to leave eventually, he doesn't listen," she states again and I sigh.
"I know, and I won't stop him when he does. I didn't want to make him a solider, but the general did for some reason. But until that day comes, wanna dance?" I ask holding a hand out.
"Why Clo, I didn't think I was your type?" She bats her eyes lashes as I roll my eyes, but she takes my hand and we hit the floor.

Dominic POV
That tune, that beat, the lyrics, I'd know it anywhere. But it was different, a remix? The only people who would have that song would be people from my universe….
One of my brothers did send me a message, in the form of Hips don't Lie by Shakera. I stare at the night sky outside of the hover ship taking me back to Atlas proper, "I wish I could've danced."
