Chapter 1427

E R W

Cameron promised John he could have any female he wanted with no questions asked or any problems. She wanted him to feel special and have a good time. She now fully understood the difference between sex and love. She was able to see how the girls handled things and each other. At the end of the day, they all knew who they 'belonged' to. The variety made life special.

John reached over and touched Cameron's cheek.

"I'm going to hold you to your word and promise." John started and then paused. "This is who I'd like to be with…."

Cameron waited.

"Yes? Who is it?" Cameron asked. "I'll bring them now."

John was ready. He really hoped Cameron would understand.

"Thank you." John said. "This is who I'd like to be with…."

Cameron wanted to know who the lucky female was. She wondered if maybe John would ask for Young Allison or Summer. No, they weren't on the ship. Now she wondered why she even thought about it. John hadn't watched the movie recently.

John looked at Cameron with love in his eyes and in his heart.

"I want to be with you, Cameron." John said. "I want you just like this in your own chassis. I want you the way I first met you and have been with you."

Cameron felt a rush of elation. She wanted to make sure.

"Really?" Cameron asked.

She still scanned him. She could see he spoke the truth.

"Really." John said. "I appreciate everything you've done for me and us on the trip."

John decided not to mention Allison, Vanna or Young Jesse.

Cameron gave John a long slow deep kiss.

"I love you, John, and you love me." Cameron said.

John kissed Cameron back the same way she'd kissed him.

"I love you, Cameron, and you love me." John said.

Cameron was very pleased she'd provided John with seven virgin chassis with her in control for their first experience with a male. She was pleased he was with the three human females. She was even more pleased with all of it, he still chose her, just the way she was.

Maybe she wasn't a 'walking pile of junk' or 'scrap metal' after all. She remembered how Savannah always told her none of those things people said about her were true.

They were both very content right now.

Young Allison recalled all her troops. They were up against a fortified base. The anti-Metal faction was there in force and they were known for having, and using, EMP weapons.

They needed to pull back for now as she was the only non Terminator there. A few EMP blasts could knock out her entire force.

She wouldn't abandon them if it happened. The Terminators agreed to pull back to protect Young Allison because she would stay to protect them. They didn't want to be responsible for her termination, even if they were terminated.

Savannah was convinced they'd been deceived. The location she was at was nothing but another big booby trap. It wasn't the anti-Metal base. It was a 'set up'.

Cammy and Savannah were on the outskirts of the 'base'.

"I need to go to where Young Allison is at." Savannah said. "It's the real threat. This was all a ruse designed to take down as many of us as possible, mainly Terminators."

Cammy didn't want her to go alone.

"I'll accompany you." Cammy said.

Savannah knew it would be risky for Cammy and every Terminator.

"I can't allow it." Savannah said.

Cammy didn't give up easily.

"I can go with you most of the way there." Cammy said.

Savannah knew it was nice to have help sometimes.

"I don't know, Cammy." Savannah said. "We need the Blackhawk to come and get me. It will save some time."

Savannah wanted to get to Young Allison's location as quickly as possible. She didn't want her to face the enemy alone.

Cammy saw her chance. There were other methods which had been used before.

"We can get there quicker on top of a drone." Cammy said.

Savannah frowned. She knew it was true too. It was a dangerous method. She'd experienced the procedure with Cameron before, 'In Some Future'. It was a way for Cammy to go with her by the necessity for her enhanced safety.

"I know you like the idea so you can go along and hold me on." Savannah said. "I've done it before. I know how it works."

Cammy contacted CamNet and made the arrangements.

Savannah looked at Cammy, Richard and Michael.

"We need to finish here first." Savannah said. "I want you three to go into standby and all the drones which still have ordnance to dump it on this place."

Everything was put into play. The attack would commence in thirty seconds.

Richard made out a couple of sentries.

"What about the two guards?" Richard asked.

Savannah was tired of playing around.

"Take down both of them now." Savannah said.

There were two suppressed rounds fired almost instantly.

"Two down." Michael said.

Cammy, Richard and Michael all went into standby.

The area was attacked by the drones from altitude. There were several explosions and one large EMP blast. Then there was nothing.

Savannah looked over the area of decimation. She was ready to clear out.

She spoke with Young Allison again and directly with CamNet. The anti-Metal group was cornered right now. They were going to hit them hard.

Cammy rebooted.

Savannah gave her a brief account of what happened.

Richard and Michael rebooted thirty seconds later.

Savannah wanted to bring them with Cammy and her.

They asked to stay in the general area where they were and see if anything else turned up later on. They were Cameron's Terminators and she didn't know if CamNet directed them to stay or not. If there were any anti-Metal stragglers who showed up, or crawled out of the wreckage, they could deal with them. After all the events of tonight, she didn't care how they were dealt with.

They could hear a drone approach where they were.

'Coltan Overcast' landed.

Savannah walked over and lovingly touched it. 'Coltan Overcast' was there for her numerous times, even at great peril to itself. It was something to think about.

"I guess I get to be the meat in a Metal sandwich." Savannah said.

Cammy walked over and smiled.

"You're usually on top." Cammy said. "I get to be this time."

Savannah walked over and touched Richard and Michael each on the cheek and thanked them for assisting her and all their help. They were visibly pleased with her interaction.

'Coltan Overcast' experienced the same things Richard and Michael did, but it didn't show. It was still there though.

"Do you want me to ride on my back so I can face you?" Savannah asked jokingly.

Cammy tilted her head slightly. She liked the idea.

"Yes." Cammy said. "We can kiss on the way there."

Savannah didn't want Cammy to get her hopes up. She actually wanted to look around. She also didn't want to disrespect 'Coltan Overcast'. She briefly wondered if they could put 'Coltan Overcast's' chip in Cammy's second port. It would be a way for her to share with 'Coltan Overcast' in a physical sense. They could probably hook up a tether too like Cameron did with all the Metal girl's chassis. She could make love to Cammy's chassis with 'Coltan Overcast' in control. She wasn't sure how it would play out. 'Coltan Overcast' might be overly 'aggressive' without trying to be since there was no experience in a Terminator chassis. Maybe it would be safer to just download a file of her with Cammy to 'Coltan Overcast'. She needed to refocus.

"I was just kidding." Savannah said. "I want to hold on and see where we're going."

Cammy was a little disappointed.

Savannah climbed on top of 'Coltan Overcast' and Cammy climbed on top of her to hold her in place. She waved 'bye' to Richard and Michael and 'Coltan Overcast' lifted off. It looked to her as if two more drones landed near Richard and Michael. Maybe it was their way out when they were done. CamNet may need them for some other function. She would be very surprised later on to learn what the function actually was.

The flight was much cooler than she'd anticipated. It was actually cold. They were only a few hours away from sunrise at this point. Cammy increased her 'temperature' to help warm her. With two power cells, she could generate a lot of heat.

The flight wasn't very long.

Cammy spoke into her ear after ten minutes.

"We'll have an escort soon." Cammy said.

Savannah wasn't sure what it meant. She soon she spotted 'Cherry Bomb' slide into formation next to them. It was fully armed. She was relieved to see Young Allison wasn't on it.

They dropped down low for the last few miles and landed next to the Blackhawk.

Savannah was surprised to see all of the Terminators there. They'd been ordered to pull out by Young Allison. She looked around and saw Young Allison and Anna weren't present. It wasn't a good sign.

John Henry could see CamNet was going to go around him and carry out a strike against the anti-Metal group with a 'maximum effort' response.

It surprised him some because Summer was the one who'd pushed it, along with Young Allison and CamNet. She wanted a decisive blow to eliminate the sworn enemy of Cameron, and by extension, all 'Metal Lovers'.

He really wondered what other weapons CamNet would produce. He was sure at this point CamNet already acquired a 'temporal stockpile' of decommissioned weapons of all types. He figured Cameron, or her Terminators, ran temporal missions to collect what Cameron wanted. CamNet may have done it on her own too. It also may have been done at the 'request' of Young Allison or a 'suggestion' by Summer.

He realized Summer 'suggested' for CamNet to send Terminators back in time right now, to acquire anything she wanted and it would be available at this moment in some secure location. It was an innovative new approach. It actually opened a whole new dimension in operations but increased the risk of contaminating the timeline and creating new ones. It would need to be used judiciously.

He detected CamNet operate the TDE at Cameron's base. He was sure a group of Terminators were sent into the recent past, or the near future, to run temporal missions from that time period to avoid his detection. He knew she did it to prevent him from asking Savannah to have CamNet 'check' herself. CamNet could often exert Skynet type tendencies. Maybe it was just Cameron's irrational responses or actions showing. Cameron's program was the base program for CamNet. It was a decision he often questioned.

A soft hand gently touched his cheek.

"Don't worry about it." Summer said. "Everything's under control."

He was a little startled by the encounter.

There was a stern look on Summer's face. He was sure she 'read' his thoughts. Maybe CamNet did and asked her to 'act'.

John Henry knew Cameron feared John being assassinated because he was with her. He didn't know the full extent of her actions she'd initiated to try and get the human females closer to him. She didn't want John to be seen as a 'Metal Lover' both figuratively and literally.

Summer thought it would be best if the Resistance forces gave the anti-Metal base a ten mile safety zone. She discussed the nature of the attack she'd selected for Young Allison's and Savannah's approval. CamNet was able to 'come up' with any weapon she requested or inquired about. She wondered how much history was being changed by the procurements which were happening in the past. It would seem the same to them now, since it already would have happened.

John worked on Cameron. He was a little tired but he was determined to stay with it until they needed to disembark.

Once Cameron realized John wasn't going to go back to sleep, she suggested a cup of espresso. He could follow it up with a nice warm cup of hot chocolate. He thought it was a good idea to keep him going. He didn't know Cameron added a little 'help' to his drink which would keep him going.

Right now everything he shared with Cameron were loving touches and loving kisses. He also stimulated her elsewhere in every way he knew how.

Cameron was really thrilled John chose her. He could've been with anyone, and he chose her. His choice and decision made her feel good about herself for a change. She was even more pleased he'd shared with the human females. It opened a new door which she didn't want to see closed. She wanted it opened even more. She wasn't going to be responsible for his assassination.

She didn't know his true mates, Savannah and Young Allison, plotted at this very moment to eradicate the anti-Metal faction, which was in their timeline, with 'extreme prejudice'. The 'Natural Order' wouldn't be disrupted. She needed to remind herself she was part of the 'Natural Order' as determined by her future. Savannah and Young Allison were both adamant she didn't forget the fact. They both saw it all as a package deal.

They were drawn to her and she would provide them to John. Somehow it would all work out in the end. Everything eventually seemed to play out the same way.

Once the scope of what Young Allison's team found out was determined, it was deemed unsafe for a conventional Terminator assault.

The Terminators would be susceptible to EMP attacks.

It would take a substantial force of conventional troops to attack and bring down the installation.

The Resistance didn't possess such a force.

Young Allison ordered the Terminators away. She wanted them out of the range of any EMP weapons. They didn't want to leave her. She agreed to let Anna stay with her.

Anna insisted on it herself. She reassured Young Allison her program was copied and CamNet indicated there could be a spare female chassis provided for her to be rebodied if necessary.

She sent an 'eyes only' communication to CamNet. Surprisingly enough, she requested the same early teenage appearance. She took it one step further and asked for a one year younger appearance so Young Allison would be 'bigger' than her. Sacrifice really was the true test of love.

So far Young Allison and Anna already identified two LP locations and were looking for a third.

Anna believed their job was done.

"What we're doing is unnecessary if we follow CamNet's plan." Anna whispered.

Young Allison knew it was more than CamNet's plan. She was aware Summer made the calculations first before she'd presented it to CamNet to inform John Henry. He wasn't asked in the current situation. CamNet said she could procure the weapons necessary.

She wasn't really sure what it meant. It would seem CamNet already possessed them. Maybe she was after more current military hardware.

Anna felt they'd seen enough to justify a missile strike of some sort. It should disrupt the anti-Metal groups operations significantly and terminate many of them. She was aware Young Allison wanted all of them terminated. It meant the bunker system in the mine would need to be brought down. There was really only one sure way to accomplish it. The method was suitable to use in the middle of the Nevada desert. They weren't in the Nevada desert.

It seemed each LP checked in every fifteen to twenty minutes on a random schedule. There was a rotating call sign in use. It was much like the system the Resistance used.

Both 'Coltan Overcast' and 'Cherry Bomb' sat on the ground on either side of the Blackhawk. They were ready to go in and extract Young Allison and Anna if they needed evacuation.

Savannah contacted Young Allison as soon as she was on the ground with Cammy. She was very concerned about her.

"Why are you still there?" Savannah asked.

Young Allison hoped to find another way into the complex other than the front door. She thought one of the LP locations might offer her the opportunity.

"I'm looking for a way in." Young Allison said.

Savannah knew what it meant. Young Allison would attempt to enter the complex on her own. It was something she couldn't stand for. It wasn't going to happen.

"NO!" Savannah said. "We'll blast our way in from the front, or use a bunker buster weapon from the top. You need to withdraw now."

Young Allison asked to have all such weapons ready. She'd also requested a 'Backpack nuke'. It was to be taken inside by someone from the Resistance team on foot. She would like an ERW if possible. It was the dreaded Neutron Bomb. She called it an N-Bomb. It fit in with an H-Bomb and a C-Bomb. It all started with an A-Bomb.

"We have one more spot to check." Young Allison said.

Savannah knew Young Allison's determination. She was there to play 'hardball' and kill everyone there. It was very 'Cameron' of her to want to do it. She understood her reasoning and desire. She also wanted to have a little bit more control. There was only one way it was going to happen.

"I'm coming there." Savannah said.

It worried Young Allison.

"Are you coming by yourself?" Young Allison asked.

Savannah saw no need to endanger anyone else.

"Yes." Savannah said. "It will allow Anna to withdraw.'"

It would leave Young Allison and her there alone.

Savannah hoped it would prompt Young Allison to wrap it up.

Young Allison would need to wrap up her conversation for a different reason.

"Someone's coming." Young Allison whispered.

Young Allison spoke in hushed tones with Savannah.

Anna touched her arm and pointed behind them. There was a five man patrol out.

Young Allison could see it was time to end the conversation with Savannah.

"Someone's coming." Young Allison whispered.

Young Allison ended the conversation.

She wore her night vision. She saw Anna draw her silenced M9. She realized she was already holding hers. It seemed to be a natural extension of herself at this point. She was ready to use it.

Anna and Young Allison remained hidden behind a big rock.

The patrol passed by them.

Young Allison wanted to see where they went. It was for several reasons. It would also indicate which routes were safe for them to traverse. If they followed behind the enemy patrol, they wouldn't need to worry about any booby traps. If any were set, they would see where they were. Since the enemy just passed through the area, they wouldn't pay as much attention to what was right behind them. They'd be more worried about what was in front of them and around them. It seemed like an effective strategy to pursue them immediately.

"Let's follow them." Young Allison said.

Anna was about to tell Young Allison it was a bad idea. Before she could say it, Young Allison was on the move after the patrol. She understood why Young Allison wanted to see where they went. They may lead her to another entrance.

Savannah didn't like the abrupt end of the conversation and why it needed to end suddenly. At first she wondered if Young Allison 'blew her off'. If it was the enemy, it would be worse. It seemed like more trouble.

Savannah looked at Steve and Tom. She was concerned about the safety of all of them where they currently were at.

"Great." Savannah said. "There are patrols out, as well as LPs. Did you make sure you weren't followed?"

Steve checked to make sure himself as did every other Terminator. Once the two teams rejoined they set out an ambush in case anyone did follow them. No one did.

"We checked." Steve said. "We weren't followed or detected. We took precautions."

Savannah wanted to see whatever information they'd come up with on the bunker location. The fact it was built inside an old mine bothered her. It was one place she wanted to stay out of. She'd been in several of the former missile sites and they all contained an 'escape route' which was built into them. Since this started out as a site run by the Air Force, she figured it would be constructed in the same way.

"There's usually an escape route in installations like this." Savannah said. "Are there any plans or blueprints yet?"

CamNet was able to provide some information on the original layout. The complex was never finished before it was abandoned and sealed closed. They didn't know how long the anti-Metal group had been in possession of it. There could have been members of the anti-Metal faction working there for years to get things ready for the arrival of the main group.

Savannah went over everything they could provide her with. She didn't want to go in the front door. She really thought it would be better if they could find an easier way into the complex.

She tried to think of a way to do it. She didn't know Summer already formulated a plan to facilitate everything.

Young Allison followed the patrol. She watched them check on the last LP they'd identified. She figured they'd already been by the first one since it was the way they came from. She now hoped they would lead her to a third one.

She was aware normal security operations like this grew lax over time. It was the same thing every day and night, week after week, and nothing ever happened. The fact they'd sent out two major ambush teams should mean the people left were on heightened alert. It wasn't good for the Resistance. It was especially not good for her.

She needed to consider the possibility she could be captured. It could happen before or after a firefight. Depending upon how the situation played out, would determine what her fate would be. She could be recognized for who she was. If they didn't know who she was initially, and she was able to stash her gear, she could try to pass herself off as someone else. It could be anything from a lost hiker, to a runaway. There was still the possibility she would be abused anyway. She knew if it was Grays who captured her, it would happen immediately. She didn't need her mind to go there. She would cross that bridge when she came to it.

Summer listened to Savannah's request for any plans for the bunker and mine complex. Savannah wanted to find the escape route. It should be an easier way to get in than the fortified front door.

She watched John Henry search for the files. There needed to be a better way to do what they wanted to do. There needed to be a sure way to do it.

Summer made some calculations and then she silently contacted CamNet. It was time to use some of their assets to their fullest. It was what she excelled at.

She knew the rules. You either play to win, or you don't play at all. She just sent CamNet a winning move. She hoped it was anyway. All of her calculations indicated it should be. There are always unforeseen variables, even with her unorthodox method.

John Henry couldn't find all the plans for the top secret bunker which was never finished.

He detected CamNet ran her TDE again.

He glanced over at Summer and she winked at him. He was sure she'd asked CamNet to do something.

He figured she was five moves ahead of him at this point. She was always ahead of him. It seemed Young Allison was as well. He glanced over at Summer again. He figured she was probably five moves ahead of Young Allison in any situation. It would put her ten moves in front of him. It was clear the Young sisters operated at a different level than the other humans did. They were certainly out of John's league. John tended more to respond to the enemy. Young Allison, and Summer, clearly thought about making the enemy respond to them.

Summer sent a specific GPS location to Savannah to have her team 'check'.

Savannah was surprised to receive the communication directly from Summer. It was very close to where she was at with the group of Terminators, the Blackhawk and the two drones.

She passed the information on to Steve and he left with a team of Terminators. She was about to leave to go after Young Allison. She'd already told Cammy she needed to stay behind.

Cammy was concerned about Savannah's well being.

"Please let me go with you." Cammy said.

Savannah touched Cammy's cheek. Based upon their earlier encounter, the possibility of additional EMP attacks was too great.

"Not this time." Savannah said. "I don't want you damaged or taken prisoner."

They both knew what was done to captured female Terminators in the future. They were reprogrammed to be a 'Metal Whore'. They'd heard it firsthand from two of the anti-Metal faction which were killed by them a few days ago.

Cammy was willing to take the chance.

"I still want to go with you." Cammy said.

Steve returned back to the Blackhawk. He'd only been gone for less than two minutes.

"Savannah, you'd better take a look at this." Steve said.

He turned around to leave.

"What is it?" Savannah asked.

He took an entrenching shovel out of the Blackhawk.

"Our team just got a break." Steve said. "It's a big one."

Cammy received an update from CamNet. She could see the operation was about to take a more serious note.

"There are several drones on the way with a special 'package' on each of them." Cammy said.

Savannah soon heard several drones approach at low altitude.

She was sure at this point there was a lot of 'temporal management' being used. She hoped it didn't lead to 'temporal malpractice'. She didn't think CamNet was the driving force behind it either. She was certainly the facilitator who made it all happen. It wasn't Young Allison this time either.

Jim looked over at Vanna and Allison.

Vanna and Allison followed the operation where Savannah and Young Allison were both at now.

"I'm glad the other operation finished up." Allison said.

Vanna frowned some. She'd hoped things would play out a little differently than they currently did.

"I thought Savannah was finished for the night." Vanna said. "I thought wrong."

Allison checked to see what Richard and Michael were up to since they'd been left behind. She couldn't find their body cams. She did several searches. She was a little concerned.

"Jim, what happened to the two Terminators who stayed behind where Savannah and Cammy were?" Allison asked.

Jim checked.

"CamNet has recalled them." Jim said. "They actually work for Cameron and CamNet. There are two drones which were left in place to search for stragglers or survivors. So far none have been detected."

Allison wasn't sure how CamNet operated. She didn't worry about it anymore. She was worried about Vanna. She didn't want Vanna to stress out on the operation anymore. She wanted to take the stress off of Vanna. She knew a way to do it.

"Why don't you go to Young Jesse?" Allison asked. "She asked to see you. She's asked more than once. She's waiting for you."

Vanna would feel guilty being with Savannah's first love while she was out in the field with an uncertain outcome. What if she was sharing with Young Jesse and something tragic happened to Savannah at the same time? She would never be able to forgive herself.

"I need to wait until Savannah and Young Allison finish the operation." Vanna said.

Allison nodded.

She was worried about all of them too. She still wondered what Cameron's two Terminators were recalled for.

Cameron was very pleased with all of the attention John bestowed on her. It was a loving and sharing time. Most of it was spent kissing and touching. She liked all the sensations he was able to provide her with. It made her think about the time he didn't think she could 'feel'. She'd told him, 'I wouldn't be worth much if I couldn't feel.' She'd certainly learned to 'feel' a lot more since then. She was very pleased she was constructed to experience the same responses as a human female to be a better infiltrator.

John drank his espresso. He hoped he would feel like a new man soon. He was glad he could wash it down with the hot chocolate.

Cameron planned to be with John several more times before sunrise. She decided they would take a whirlpool bubble bath at some point. She really wanted John to have one last special treat on the ship.

She wanted Sheila to bring Leticia to their room. When they were finished with the bubble bath, and returned to the bedroom, John would be in a high state of arousal. She would make sure of it. She would smile at him, give him a kiss and close the bedroom door on her way out. Leticia would be there to welcome him with open arms, and open legs. It would only be one time before Leticia went on her way, along with Mary and Laura.

It would be the icing on the cake for John and the trip.

Cameron smiled. John deserved the best!

Savannah and Cammy followed Steve to a rocky outcropping.

There was a layer of dirt over a portion of it. It looked like the dirt from above it on the hillside washed down over it.

Steve worked with the entrenching tool for a minute.

Cammy scanned the area with several different vision spectrums.

"There's an opening of some kind." Cammy said. "It may be large. I don't know why."

Savannah figured it was the escape route from the bunker system. It was what she'd hoped to find earlier. It wasn't on any of the plans.

"It may be what we thought. It may be the escape route." Savannah said. "The route out, will be on our way in."

Cammy indicated the dimensions of the opening. She was puzzled by a number of things other than just the size of the opening. It was its location. It was almost where the helicopter was parked.

"It's larger than I would expect for an escape route." Savannah said. "How is it right where we're at, at this moment in time?"

It did seem rather 'convenient' to Savannah. The thoughts of 'temporal malpractice' flashed through her mind again. Maybe they'd gotten ahead of themselves.

"I don't know." Cammy said. "Maybe it's something else."

It was something else all right. It was a worry to Savannah. The unknown was always a threat. They possessed a few 'tools' for threats. It was time to use them.

"I want everyone but Steve and Cammy away from here and be ready to go into standby on rotating restarts." Savannah said. "Please bring me the M249."

Cammy moved up to assist Steve. The other Terminators dispersed. Tom brought her an M249 and an M32A1. He also handed her a satchel charge.

Savannah nodded and arranged everything behind two rocks with a 'V' shaped opening between them.

They all understood the precaution.

The anti-Metal group could have the opening booby trapped or be waiting with a force to break out and attack them. The first thing out would most likely be an EMP grenade.

She should be able to drive them back with the M249 and the M32A1. The satchel charge would need to follow the initial barrage before they regrouped. It should blow the opening closed.

She tried to reach Young Allison or Anna again to recall them. There was no answer.

Anna and Young Allison continue to follow the patrol. They weren't very far behind them. It wasn't long before the patrol led them to an additional target.

Young Allison identified a third LP.

Anna made note of the GPS coordinates where each LP was located. She also indicated the best line of approach for a missile to hit each position. With her selected route, the missile should be able to directly hit the target without any obstructions in its way.

Young Allison would have liked to have possessed some Claymore mines to leave at each position. They didn't have any. It would have been a really 'friendly' way to say 'hello'.

They heard Savannah recall them. They were about to respond when the patrol moved back in their direction. They were behind a fallen tree and the patrol was headed straight for them. They'd expected them to continue on. They hoped they hadn't been detected.

Anna indicated the two men on the left side of them for Young Allison to 'take'. She would concentrate on the three on their right side.

They both picked a target and planned the follow up shots.

Their fingers each moved onto the trigger of their silenced M9. The silenced rounds would cause some confusion as they were fired. In the darkness it would be hard for the enemy to figure out what happened before they were all hit. It would be over in a few seconds.

Savannah could watch Steve and Cammy as they worked. They soon stopped. They'd uncovered a large door. It seemed big enough to drive a small truck through.

"We're ready to open it." Cammy said.

Savannah wondered how it opened. She was very concerned something was about to happen. She didn't want to take any chances.

"Is there some device or a control panel?" Savannah asked. "One of you needs to leave and go into standby."

Steve and Cammy looked over the closed opening.

"It looks like it can only be opened from the inside." Steve said. "We'll need to blow it open."

Savannah didn't want to do it. An explosion of any type on the hillside would surely alert the anti-Metal group. They didn't know what type of sensors were in place in the surrounding area. They didn't even know how many LPs there were. Young Allison and Anna were still out there as well.

"Is there any other way?" Savannah asked.

Steve looked at the heavy metal door.

"We would need tools." Steve said. "They'll make noise too."

Cammy received a new transmission from CamNet. She was very surprised at the information. She was also pleased.

"I have a code." Cammy said.

Steve looked at the 'door'. It was just a metal door.

"Where do you use it?" Steve asked. "There's no interface."

Cammy verified her instructions with CamNet. It was as simple as it sounded.

"It's about as old school as it gets." Cammy said. "Savannah, get ready to open up if it's necessary. I don't know what's inside. Steve, go into standby. I've got this."

Steve moved in back of Savannah. He wanted to verify the standby schedule.

"As soon as I hear the door start to move. I'll go into standby for thirty seconds." Steve said. "There will be a Terminator who comes out of standby every fifteen seconds after me."

Tom was nearby. He wanted to reassure Savannah he would be close by.

"I'll be the next one to reactivate." Tom said.

Savannah removed her night vision. She didn't want the bright flash of the EMP intensified. She also didn't want them to get wrecked. She would need to be able to see what was happening around her.

"I'm ready." Savannah said. "Do it."

Cammy moved up to the 'door' with the entrenching tool and knocked out a code. It rang through the metal.

'Clang', short pause. 'Clang', long pause. 'Clang-Clang-Clang'.

They waited fifteen seconds.

'Clang', short pause. 'Clang', long pause. 'Clang-Clang-Clang'.

'What the Hell?' Savannah thought. She knew exactly what the code was. She'd heard it used on several other occasions. How could it be used now?

There was a screech of metal. The Terminators went into standby.

Cammy went behind the closest boulder with her M4 held ready as she went into standby.

The Metal screeched louder and the 'door' opened with a heavy thud.

Savannah pulled the M249 into her shoulder as her finger tightened on the trigger.

"Don't shoot, Savannah." A voice said. "I'm coming out."

Savannah recognized that voice. She'd just heard it a short time ago.

'What the Hell?' Savannah thought again.

The second man stopped the van a block away from the old supermarket. The first man got out and headed for the alley on foot. He'd only been in the alley for a short time when his foot bumped something. It sounded metallic as it rolled across the asphalt. He quickly realized it was a spray can. He could see there was another one up against the back of the building. The smell of lacquer thinner was heavy in the air. The cans had been used very recently. He was sure if he touched the wall, he would find wet paint.

He pulled his pistol out and held it in his hand. There was more than likely a street gang close by. It made him wonder how much of what he'd witnessed earlier with the other sedan was related to them.

He cautiously moved through the alley. It was possible they were responsible for the death of the two Mob thugs. The homeless man may have been hiding somewhere nearby and viewed taking the vehicle as his best option for escape before he ran afoul of them.

There was a possibility it was no more than a tagging crew sent out to mark some new territory. There could also be a drug deal going down around them. He really wished he would have brought an AK-47 with him. If it was a drug deal, he would probably need it.

Earlier:

Three gang members moved through the alley. They plan to paint over any rival gang graffiti in the alley. There'd been a new gang around the area who'd been marking turf which didn't belong to them.

They all carry backpacks with cans of spray paint in them. They also each carried a knife and a pistol. If they ran into the rival gang, they planned to leave a few bodies behind.

They'd tagged two of the buildings in the alley as they moved along. They tossed the empty spray cans to the ground when they were done with them.

One gang member noticed something.

"Hey, look over there." The first Punk said.

The other two gang members looked. They spotted a dark sedan.

"Who do you think it belongs to?" The second Punk asked.

They quickly put their spray cans away and pulled out their pistols.

"I don't know." The third Punk said. "I say we drive out of here in it."

The first gang member came up with an idea.

"We can use it when we hit the Rocco's." The first Punk said. "Whoever it belongs to will get blamed."

The three gang members cautiously approached it. They kept a constant lookout around them.

"It's open." The second Punk said.

The third gang member looked inside the window.

"It gets better." The third Punk said. "The keys are in it."

The three gang members looked around one more time and quickly climbed into the car.

The first gang member started it. The three of them all laughed.

"This is the easiest ride we ever boosted." The first Punk said.

They rapidly drove out of the alley the direction the sedan had been pointed.

CamNet's Terminators watched as a new development took place. It wasn't the only one. There were some new developments with the female Fanatic as well.

The drone image picked up the local gang who just stole the other black sedan. It would be driven away before the Gray on foot was able to reach its location. He wouldn't even know it was gone until he arrived.

CamNet instructed them not to worry about the other sedan. She said she would deal with it. They wondered if she would direct another gang to intercept it or have the authorities pull it over. The three gang members incited were all armed. They'd have a little trouble explaining the two dead Syndicate soldiers in the trunk.

They continue to watch the progress of the Gray in the alley.

The Gray consciously moved through the alley with his pistol in front of him. It was a curved alley because of a drainage channel which ran in back of it. He was soon able to see the back of the old supermarket. There were no vehicles parked behind it. He did find a couple of more spray cans in the location where they spotted one of the black sedans before. He didn't know if they were responsible for killing the Mob thugs or not.

He made his way to the back of the old supermarket and checked the rear door. It was still secured. He elected not to go inside of it. He quickly made his way back out of the alley and returned to the white van.

The second man was relieved to see the first man emerge from the alley. He still held his AK-47 tightly.

The first man approached the driver's side of the van.

"Move over, I'm driving." The first man said.

The second man quickly slid over to the passenger's side

"What did you find?" The second man asked. "Were the other thugs there?"

The first man started the van and made a U-turn.

"There was nothing in back of the building but a number of spray cans." The first man said. "It looks like a street gang may have killed them. They were probably challenged for what they were doing and killed the thugs. "

It still sounded a little vague to the second man.

"What about the other Mob thugs?" The second man asked.

The first man didn't intend to stick around and find out.

"I don't know." The first man said. "Maybe they were the car we saw up against the telephone pole."

The second man wondered where they were going next.

"Do we hit the port, or do we head for Palm Springs?" The second man asked.

The first man thought because of the Mob involvement, they should send a full team to the port area. He would need to make his report with the recommendation. It was more than a two man operation if the Mob was involved. The fact at least six of the Mob's soldiers were dead wasn't going to go over very well with the Mob.

"I think we're going to head for Palm Springs." The first man said. "Someone else can deal with the Mob."

The white van continued on surface streets until it reached the freeway.

The black sedan with the three gang members was a mile away from the old supermarket. The occupants were still 'high fiving' each other and celebrating about their new acquisition.

They were a little surprised to see a squad car pull out in front of them and block their path. The red and blue lights came on. The driver immediately hit the brakes. He went to put it in reverse. He felt an impact behind him before he started to move. More red and blue lights came on. There was a police cruiser right behind them. The squad car in front of them pulled up and impacted into the front of their car. They were pinned between the two police cruisers.

The police had long guns pointed at them. Two of the policemen carried shotguns. Two of them held assault weapons. They were all pointed at the three gang members.

"What do we do?" The third Punk asked.

The first gang member didn't think it was a problem.

"Everyone, be cool. All we did was go for a joyride." The first Punk said. "Even if they take us in, we'll be released within thirty minutes of arrival. It's just a property crime. Nobody cares about it. They're not even prosecuted anymore. The new DA is the best thing which ever happened to keep us out of jail."

The three gang members stuffed their firearms, knives and drugs under the cushion in the back seat. They surrender to the police. They were a little surprised at the way the police continued to point their long guns at them. They were roughly searched and handcuffed.

"Take it easy, man." The first Punk said to the police. "We didn't do anything."

One of the policemen searched the interior of the car. He came out with drugs, three guns and three knives.

"I've never seen those before." The second Punk said.

One of the policemen popped open the trunk. They opened it with guns drawn.

"I suppose you don't know anything about this either." One policeman said.

The three gang members were moved around so they could look in the trunk. They all looked quickly at each other. They figured they'd just been set up by the rival gang. There was going to be some stiff retribution over the incident.

"I don't know anything about it." The first Punk said.

The police ushered the three men towards several more squad cars which arrived.

"Save it for the judge." The second policeman said. "These are your rights…."

The second policeman read the three gang members their constitutional rights. They were each loaded into a separate squad car. They were sent on their way to the police station to be booked for homicide. They wouldn't be out in thirty minutes this time.

Lena and Tina were pleased with the turn of events. There were three more thugs off the street. Well, actually it was eleven. There were the eight Syndicate soldiers as well.

They monitored the current situation with the female Fanatic. It looked like there was a destination for the big rigs. They would head for the location as soon as they wrapped up their current operation.

CamNet's Terminators watched the van enter the freeway. It didn't take the turn off which would lead to the port. It continued eastbound. There were actually several more locations where it could go where they'd conducted operations previously.

The female Fanatic went over the map with Jill. She told her what they were going to do and how they were going to do it. They most likely wouldn't be able to return to the truck.

They would need to make their approach on foot to remain undetected.

The female Fanatic led Jill through the scrub brush. She wanted to stay away from the road. She knew if there was any type of surveillance or sentry, they would be located along the road.

"We'll continue through the brush until we reach the base of the hill. It isn't very far." The female Fanatics said.

Jill thought the going was a little tough. She continued to follow Jackie. She wanted to get revenge for what happened to her.

"I'll stay right behind you." Jill said.

The female Fanatic thought they should consume some of the snack items they'd brought with them. It would be less things for them to carry. They could use the extra energy right now as well. They each drank a protein drink and an energy drink. They both consumed an energy bar as well. It still left them with two bottles of water each and a couple of protein bars. They still had a packet of anti drowsy medication too.

After about twenty minutes they reached an old fence. Most of the fence posts were rotted which supported the barbed wire. It was down in most locations.

The female Fanatic stopped Jill for a moment.

"Watch your feet when we pass over the barbed wire." The female Fanatic said. "It's easy to get tangled up in. We need to keep the pace up. We need to try to reach the mine before the sun comes up. We need to be inside of it before then. If the sun comes up, we'll be too easy to spot."

Jill glanced over towards the eastern horizon. It looked like they still had a few hours. It didn't seem like it would be a problem. She had to remember, they wouldn't just be able to walk in.

"It looks like we're almost there." Jill said.

The female Fanatic knew it was more then just about arriving.

"Reaching the entrance is the easy part." The female Fanatic said. "We still need to get inside undetected."

Jill wondered what they would find. There was no sign of the trucks as they continued their approach.

"Will they have a bomb inside?" Jill asked.

The female Fanatic wasn't sure exactly what they would find.

"They'll probably have some type of weapons inside." The female Fanatic said. "It isn't too late for you to go back to the truck."

Jill reached down and touched herself through her pants. She was still very sore.

"I want to see things through." Jill said. "I at least want to kill one of them. I want it to be one of the men who abused me."

The female Fanatic remembered what happened at the other hillside location. It was the one with the old stamp mill in front of it. She knew it was some type of mine as well. She looked up into the night sky to see if she could spot an HK drone. She couldn't see anything but the moon.

"Remember what I told you about the knife." The female Fanatic said. "If you stab them in the back, make sure it's about halfway down. Don't just stab them once. Pull the knife out and stab them again and again. If you're face to face, use your gun. Don't hesitate. If one of them is there, shoot him twice. Save your ammunition. We can take additional weapons from the men we kill."

Jill I was pretty sure she would be dead before the sun came up.

"I'll do what I can." Jill said. "I don't want them to take me alive."

The female Fanatic handed Jill the revolver with three rounds in it.

"If your other firearm runs out of ammunition, use this." The female Fanatic said. "You can fire it twice. Save the last round for yourself. Hold it under your chin against your throat pointed upwards and pull the trigger. It will be over before you ever hear the sound."

Jill took the revolver. It was a sobering thought. She didn't want to be 'taken' again. If she survived. She was never going to be with a male again ever.

The female Fanatic slowed her pace some as they neared another fence. It was much newer.
