Chapter 1447

All Good Things

The group left the lab and hurried outside to the carpool area. The seven of them got into the first two SUVs in the lineup. They would already be gassed up and stocked with vests and weapons. They wanted to get moving before anyone tried to stop them.

Kyle and Derek each got behind the wheel of an SUV.

Gail, Camille and Hanna went with Derek.

Cam and Holly went with Kyle.

Derek's team got in the first SUV. Kyle's team got in the second SUV. They started up and headed out. Derek passed the doorway to the inside of the base. Kyle was a little behind him. He saw Cameron run out. She motioned for him to stop. At first he thought she was going to stop them from leaving. Instead she climbed in the back seat.

"Let's go." Cameron said. "Punch it."

Kyle hit the gas and caught back up to Derek. He waited for Cameron to 'chew' him out. She didn't.

Cameron didn't want anyone to worry.

"Just so everyone knows, John doesn't agree with me going with all of you any more than I agree with you all going in the first place." Cameron said. "Either way, this is where we're at now."

Holly felt justified for what they were doing.

"We've all been living it up on the ship having the time of our lives." Holly said. "Savannah, Cammy and the other Terminators have been in the thick of it for a week. None of us knows the full extent of what's actually happened. We all know a lot more happened than what we know. I want to help and do more."

It was pretty much how they all felt in both of the vehicles.

Kyle knew about Young Allison's involvement in the operation where Derek and him almost got burnt on. He wasn't sure what any of them knew. He decided to wait to be asked before he said anything. Savannah told them not to lie if asked. He still thought Young Allison's action merited recognition. He didn't know the full extent of her activity with Savannah in the night against the anti-Metal group.

"Derek and I feel the same way." Kyle said. "We've seen Terminators affected by electrical fields before. We know what an EMP will do to them. It's why we wanted to go. Some of us can help protect the others until everyone can reboot."

Cameron knew what it was like.

"I appreciate it." Cameron said. "I think I understand it more than anyone. I don't like Savannah in a jam without me there. I'm usually the one with her."

Cam felt Cameron's statement was accurate but missed something. She felt it was important.

"You are there with Savannah right now, Cameron." Cam said. "Cammy is there with her. Cammy and I are both you. We're your clones, even if we're modified somewhat. We'll do no less than you would do in any situation. You need to remember it. When you push the outside of the envelope and face termination, it's exactly what we're going to do as well."

They carried on a discussion a little more about what they knew happened while they were on the ship. CamNet and John Henry blocked most of what actually happened in detail. They were all in for a real eye opener when they would see the full story.

Derek and Kyle, along with their teams, headed for the area where Savannah and her teams were at. CamNet made sure they received green lights the whole way and there were no police in the areas they passed through.

Sarah headed straight for the Command Center. She wanted some answers.

John Henry felt he needed to give John a 'heads up'.

"John, we have a hot one coming here." John Henry said.

He showed John the image of Sarah as she approached.

John figured he was about to be in an aggressive verbal encounter.

"Beautiful…." John said. "It looks like the vacation is over."

John Henry was about to tell him it ended earlier today before he understood what John really meant. It reminded him of 'a saying' he once heard.

"All good things come to an end." John Henry said.

John already knew it. It seemed every time things got good, they ended up turning bad. It seemed to be the story of his life.

Sarah entered the Command Center.

They exchanged pleasantries.

"What's happening?" Sarah asked. "I saw Cameron run out of here."

John wanted to make things easier.

"Sit down and relax for a few minutes and I'll fill you in on everything I know, and what decisions I've made." John said.

John Henry thought he could show her some of the video footage from inside the base. He noticed some blank spots. He quickly glanced at the security camera. He normally didn't notice the blank spots. It meant it was a warning of some kind not to dwell on those areas.

He'd been going over the Metal girls stripping in the lab. He thought it was best not to shown it to Sarah. He doubted she would appreciate seeing Kyle and Derek watch them. They seemed to enjoy it, even if they tried not to watch. It was impossible not to see all their naked sheath material and not take it in.

John thought he should get right to the point. He would acknowledge what happened. He would also point out what his actual involvement was. It was zero.

"Kyle and Derek went out to back up Savannah. There are three Metal girls with each of them." John said. "Cameron, John Henry or I didn't have anything to do with it. By the time we found out about it, they were already leaving. Cameron ran out and was able to join them."

Sarah didn't say anything. She didn't want to get angry at John. It didn't appear he was directly involved. She did believe he could have done more to stop it. She also understood the danger Savannah faced alone.

John Henry tried to give Sarah some peace of mind.

"Cameron is in Kyle's SUV." John Henry said.

John Henry hoped the revelation would help some. It didn't look like it.

Sarah was concerned for Savannah's well being.

"Let me see what Savannah is up against." Sarah said. "I know she's been in the thick of it."

Sarah wondered if John knew about her involvement the other night along with Derek and Kyle. It didn't seem like it. She wasn't going to bring it up right now. It was the same reason she wasn't all over him about what just happened. Sometimes things just happened. There were times when someone needed to stop refereeing and act.

John Henry started with a drone strike against an anti-Metal bunker complex. He didn't mention the underground nuclear attack. An unknown individual checked on the site with a small drone. Ally and Sheila were sent to intercept them as one of their drones tracked them.

Savannah and a few teams of Terminators headed out from the port when they'd finished up there. They eventually linked up and were about to follow the unknown individual when the two ambush sites were spotted. They launched a preemptive daylight drone strike and several EMPs were used. If there were further EMP attacks, Savannah may be the only one left in the game.

Sarah looked at the string of images as they flashed before her. She could see her help could have been used again. If she would have known about it, she would have joined the team.

"It sounds like they could use a few more drivers." Sarah said. "I would've gone with them."

It wasn't quite the response and reaction they'd expected from Sarah.

They didn't know how much Sarah was affected as she watched Cammy go as far as she could in the energy field. She'd carried the M82A1 for her until she collapsed and could barely crawl away on her hands and knees. She did it for Savannah. It was why she went with Derek and Kyle. They all went for Savannah. They found someone else with her. She wondered if John knew about it yet. If he didn't, she certainly didn't want to be the one to inform him.

A new fear gripped Sarah. Maybe Young Allison was with Savannah now. She needed to use some tact to find out. She would 'ask' without 'asking'. She looked at John Henry.

"Is Young Allison coming to the base to see Savannah when she returns?" Sarah asked.

John Henry realized what she was asking him. He wanted to give her some peace of mind. He appreciated the fact she didn't ask out right. It might have started John asking questions about her question.

"She's currently in her bunker in Palmdale." John Henry said.

John was none the wiser about their clandestine conversation.

"She's assisting us along with Anna and CamNet on this operation." John said. "She's a great asset."

Sarah hoped it was true. If Young Allison was there with Savannah, she was going to go there herself right now.

"It's good to know." Sarah said. "Sometimes it's nice to have help."

John looked over at Sarah when she said it.

There was some new activity where Savannah was at.

Sarah carefully looked at the drone footage. It looked like Young Allison drove one of the SUVs. It wasn't a good shot. It needed to be zoomed in more.

John Henry noticed what Sarah was focused on. He didn't want her to start asking questions.

"It's Ally." John Henry said. "She's with Sheila."

Sarah relaxed a little, but not much. She really hoped it wasn't Young Allison and Young Jesse.

Her last thought made her think of something else….

Savannah was satisfied the first ambush site was policed and all of the ambushers were dead.

They moved on to where the vehicle was at the drone tracked from near where the bunker site was at.

Steve and Tom wanted to take point again.

Savannah decided she needed to be the one to do it. Cammy and her took the lead. The next objective there was pretty straight forward. It looked like they'd dealt with one man and his vehicle.

She slowed as she approached the vehicle. She still needed to consider what other unknown surprises there might be.

Savannah could see the vehicle was pock marked with dents and holes in it from the 'metal hail'. She stopped about a hundred feet away from the vehicle. The man was sprawled next to it.

"I want half of you in standby." Savannah said.

It wasn't a popular request, but it was followed. Most of the teams were already in compliance.

Sheila moved up in front of them to look things over.

Savannah was going to stop her. Cammy touched her arm. It was best to let Sheila assist them.

Sheila inspected the car.

"We have two down." Sheila said.

It was news to them. There must be someone else still in the car. They must have been hit with the 'metal hail' as well.

"This mess out here on the ground was a male." Sheila said. "The person inside the car is a female."

Cammy directed Savannah to the other side of the car away from the bloody man.

Cammy and Sheila checked the vehicle out. Savannah looked in the rear seat. There was a young lady there. She didn't appear to be much older than her. She was relieved to see she wasn't tied up and a prisoner of some type. It would have meant they killed an innocent person. It would have bothered her.

Now she saw 'those eyes' again as she choked the female Gray to death in Avila Beach. It always bothered her.

Cammy looked at what was near the deceased female.

"It appears she was the drone operator." Cammy said. "I can see the controller. She also has two EMP grenades. Both of them are still good."

Savannah saw she carried a pistol. She was the enemy.

Not many projectiles pierced the roof of the car. It appeared because the man tried to set off a bigger EMP, and the concentrated 'metal hail' he subsequently received, was what put enough of the projectiles through the roof to kill her. If not, she would've been there waiting for them and taken most of them out with her two EMP grenades.

Cammy wanted to move things along. There was still another location to check.

"Let's get this wreck moved off to the side." Cammy said.

Bob and Steve each picked up an end of the car and carried it off to the side of the dirt road. Sheila placed the driver back inside of it before they did.

"Burn this wreck with Thermite." Savannah said.

Savannah watched them set the Thermite charges as she drove past the wreck. It was now upside down in a dry gulch. They punctured the fuel tank. The fuel soaked the bodies. Once their three vehicles were past it, all the Thermite charges were set off. Savannah looked back in her side view mirror as the smoke rose up into the sky. The age of the female perpetrator bothered her.

Cammy could see Savannah was bothered. She didn't want her to be. She wanted to give her a little peace of mind. She also wanted to point out the realities of the business they were in.

"She was the enemy." Cammy said. "She would've done it to me if she could have used those EMP grenades on us. Who knows what she would've done to you, you're a 'Metal Lover'."

Savannah drove on.

"I know." Savannah said. "I know."

Savannah really hated killing the people from the anti-Metal group. They were Resistance fighters. She'd heard how they thought about Terminators and 'Metal Lovers'. It was terrible. She was aware of how hard Duplicate Allison and Duplicate Cameron, along with the other Metal girls there, worked to reconcile the different factions, 'In Some Future'. She didn't know how she could do it now. Maybe it was all a spillover from the anti-Metal group in Cameron's future.

From the Young bunker, Young Allison watched what happened in the Command Center with Sarah. It played out a little differently than she'd expected.

It was Savannah's reaction where the car was at which bothered her more.

"Savannah is troubled." Young Allison said.

Anna knew why.

"She feels it could have been her or you." Anna said.

Young Allison felt the situation was different.

"It wasn't." Young Allison said.

They were aware Derek and Kyle were on the way there from the base. There were six metal girls with them. One of them was Cameron. Dan and Frank, along with Al and Ed, were headed in the direction from the port as well.

"What about the additional help on the way?" Anna asked.

Young Allison felt conflicted.

"I don't know." Young Allison said.

Anna thought her response was different. Young Allison would usually have an answer ready most of the time. She would give her a few choices.

"Do you want Savannah's team to wait for the others before they approach the second ambush site?" Anna asked.

Young Allison considered having a few more drivers there wouldn't hurt. The events could have played out a little differently than they did.

"Maybe they should wait for Derek and Kyle." Young Allison said. "If the girl would have survived, she could have taken out most of the Terminators herself."

Anna felt there was still an obstacle in the anti-Metal female's path. She thought it was a pretty substantial obstacle.

"She would have needed to face Savannah." Anna said.

Young Allison felt a bigger worry. There might be more going on than met the eye.

"Keep an eye on those ambush sites." Young Allison said. "It's my recommendation the second one be hit again before our group arrives."

The idea worried Anna.

"Do you suspect there are survivors?" Anna asked.

Young Allison knew they were lucky so far. They'd been able to deliver the first blow in every encounter. If the enemy got a punch in first, Savannah was going to be in it deep.

"It's a possibility." Young Allison said. "Maybe there is a third ambush site as well. This group has tried to set us up at every turn."

Anna got right on it with John Henry and CamNet. They'd already searched for it, but would search harder. Some of the drones requested going lower to scan.

They didn't know what they would face.

Cameron was in the second row seat of the SUV. She'd run out of the building with only her M9 and Taser. It was time to get armored up. Kyle and the Metal girls were already 'geared up'.

She climbed over the seat into the third row and lifted the tarp which covered the weapons and vests behind her.

'What the Hell?' Cameron thought.

She didn't expect to look at 'herself'.

"Hi." Allison said.

All the heads in the SUV turned to look back.

Allison sat up. She saw everyone but Kyle stared at her. He did glance in his rear view mirror at her. She could see the cat was out of the bag now.

"Hi, everyone…." Allison said.

Holly was in the front seat with Kyle. She immediately climbed into the second row seat and crowded past Cam and joined Cameron in the third row. She was very concerned about Allison's sudden appearance. She did realize Allison had been there the entire time, even if they didn't know.

"What are you doing here?" Holly asked. "You need to go back."

Allison heard everything they'd discussed and where the operation was at.

"It sounds like you could use a couple more drivers." Allison said. "It would take some of the strain off of Savannah."

Cam felt a few alarm bells go off with Allison's statement. It indicated there were two of them. She climbed into the third row too. She lifted the tarp the rest of the way up. She didn't see what she'd expected to find.

"Where's Vanna?" Cam asked.

Allison didn't think there was anything to conceal at this point. Vanna followed the operation and determined they needed additional assistance.

"She's in the other SUV." Allison said. "We wanted to help. We figured you would take the first two SUVs and you did."

Allison handed Cameron a vest and passed an M4 to the others in the SUV. There were only four in the back.

"I already have mine." Kyle said. "I think one of you can come back up to the front."

Cameron handed one M4 back to Allison. Kyle brought his own gear with him.

So far Cameron hadn't said anything.

She moved up to the front. Cam moved back to the second row and Allison climbed over the seat and into the third row with Holly. Holly made sure she got all of her gear on and was protected with a second vest over her lower abdomen.

Everyone knew they were crossing the lines and taking shortcuts. There wasn't much anyone could say. Savannah could be out there alone if things went 'bad'.

Kyle previously had a glimpse of what the Terminators experienced when they were incapacitated. He was very glad Allison was there with them. He really hoped Young Allison wasn't there somewhere as well which they didn't know about yet. Then again, he saw her in action just a couple of nights ago. It was still a sight to behold.

Derek drove with Gail, Camille and Hanna. He was alerted to the stowaway. Camille was in the front seat. Hanna and Gail were in the second row.

Hanna went over the seat to the third row and reached over the back and lifted the tarp.

"Surprise…." Hanna said. "It's almost like looking in a mirror."

Vanna looked up at her and sat up.

"I guess it is, seeing you." Vanna said.

Vanna greeted everyone and climbed into the third row with Hanna. Hanna got her situated and all her protective gear on.

She was a little surprised no one seemed very upset about it. Allison and her thought they could use more drivers or people to fight if they ran into more EMP blasts. They didn't like it because Savannah was alone if things turned sour.

Cameron sent an update to the Command Center.

"Allison and Vanna are with us. Vanna is in Derek's SUV." Cameron said.

John and Sarah looked at each other.

"It's news to us." John said.

John Henry had been unaware of the new development.

"It's a little surprising." John Henry said.

Sarah felt like she should have been there as well. Maybe she should have pursued Cameron anyway. More than likely, if she would have made it outside of the building, they would have stopped. she could be there now with them as well.

"Now I really wish I would've gone." Sarah said.

It really made John wonder what was next. There seemed to be a lot going on he didn't know about.

"What other surprises are there?" John asked.

Based on what the teams faced, John Henry didn't think the current development was a bad thing.

"Having a few extra drivers might be a good thing." John Henry said. "The anti-Metal group is a serious threat. They have already shown they're willing to use the EMP devices they possess."

John and Sarah understood it to really mean having a few extra people to fight, if the Terminators were down, might be a good thing.

They both wished they were there now too. Neither one of them hoped it would turn into a 'Day Of Loss' situation the way things were headed.

The Young bunker received word of the new developments at the same time the Command Center did.

"I can't believe Allison is there." Young Allison said. "It sounds like something I'd pull."

Anna made reference to the fact they were the same person.

"Gee, I wonder where she gets it." Anna said. "They all started from the same person."

Young Allison looked over at Anna and frowned. It seemed like CamNet was involved to make it all happen.

"They must have received some assistance to pull it off." Young Allison said. "I want to know more about it."

Anna was aware Allison and Vanna visited CamNet before. She was sure CamNet would be very pliable to their request, especially if they would be able to assist Savannah.

"Allison and Vanna are the older versions of the 'Chosen Ones'." Anna said. "What else is there to know? They're the same people."

Young Allison didn't think it was so simple.

"I want to know how they pulled it off and nobody knew." Young Allison said. "Wait! Are both Jesses still there along with my mother, Summer and Jan?"

Anna checked with CamNet. She wondered if they were any other shenanigans in progress.

"Jan and Summer are in the rec room." Anna said. "Your mother is currently in her room with Jesse and Young Jesse."

Young Allison was a little surprised, but not by much.

"I guess it was a little more than I'd expected." Young Allison said.

Anna received an additional update.

"Riley, Precious and Samantha are in Riley's quarters." Anna said.

Young Allison felt she'd heard enough.

"OK. OK. I think we're good now." Young Allison said.

Anna asked for an update from CamNet if anything changed in regards to the others. She was sure Young Allison would ask CamNet for a helicopter to go there herself if it did. It was something she didn't want to see happen.

"I've asked CamNet to notify us if any of it changes." Anna said.

Young Allison wanted to get back to the operations.

"What about the second ambush site?" Young Allison asked.

The earlier request for a supplemental attack was carried out.

"It was just hit with another round of 'metal hail'. No movement was spotted before or after the strike." Anna said.

Young Allison was still worried about any other potential dangers.

"Is there any sign of a third ambush or any others approaching the area?" Young Allison asked.

Neither John Henry nor CamNet detected anything.

"No." Anna said. "There's no third ambush site spotted or any vehicles on the land or in the air headed in their direction."

Young Allison was sure things weren't wrapped up yet.

"Keep an eye out." Young Allison said.

Savannah and her three teams were updated about the approaching help.

"Even if it's a good thing, it seems like a bad idea." Savannah said.

Cammy didn't want more people in the harm's way.

"It sounds like assistance we could do without." Cammy said. "It just puts more people in the danger zone."

Savannah didn't like the fact Allison and Vanna would be with them soon. They weren't informed how it went down yet. The danger level seemed very high to her.

"I want to move closer to the second ambush site before we hold." Savannah said. "I'm not convinced yet there isn't another one, a third one."

Savannah didn't like when they were led to remote areas. It spelled trouble almost every time. The enemy didn't like to operate in the public eye anymore than they did. It just brought unnecessary attention. It was always negative attention.

Savannah led the group to within a half mile of the second ambush site. There were some small rolling hills around them.

Half of the team went into standby. It would be a rotating standby with a slight overlap.

Cammy didn't like to slow the operation down. They'd already slowed enough. They would need to slow down even further.

"We still have thirty minutes to wait." Cammy said.

Savannah looked at the drone footage from the port area. The entire building was gone. There was still thick black smoke which billowed into the air. She hoped her actions weren't too extreme.

"I hope I didn't overdo it." Savannah said. "I think we took everyone there out and incinerated the bodies."

Cammy looked at the footage.

"You know it means we're still facing at least two groups from the earlier encounters based on what we saw today." Cammy said.

Savannah felt it was even more. She wasn't even sure who all the players were. At the port facility, it never seemed as if they knew who all the players involved were.

"I'm aware of it." Savannah said. "I think it was three groups and I don't even know if any of them were the Syndicate."

Cammy pointed out another thorn in their side. It caused many problems. Some of them were on different levels.

"The old newspaper plant is like this too." Cammy said. "What we're on the trail of now, originated there."

Savannah thought about everything associated with the old newspaper plant. There'd been multiple encounters of different natures.

"It seems like a lot started there." Savannah said.

Savannah looked around. She checked the drones over and around them for any change. There wasn't any.

There were a few other things she wanted to follow up on as well since they had some time to kill. She checked on the girls they took to rehab.

Cammy looked over at Savannah's phone. She frowned slightly. She didn't think they would have success with all of the girls.

"I don't know how much we can help them." Cammy said. "Drugs burrow pretty deep into the psyche."

Savannah knew all of the females were headed down a dark path. It didn't mean they couldn't try to help. She was aware one could lead a horse to water, but they couldn't make it drink.

"If we can help one of them, I'll be happy." Savannah said. "None of those girls needed to be treated like they were in the future already or in a Scavenger camp."

Cammy could see Savannah was sincere. She didn't want to view it as 'a weakness'. She felt it's what it was. Maybe it was the 'Cameron' in her talking.

She did understand Savannah's sense of humanity. It was something Future John seemed to lose. Savannah was supposed to make sure John didn't lose his sense of humanity going forward. It wasn't anything she liked. It was just the way it was.

Sheila came over when her turn in standby was finished. She climbed in the back seat of their SUV. She sat behind Cammy. She reached around her and gave both of her breasts a squeeze before she sat in her seat. Cammy turned her head back and smiled at Sheila.

Sheila took a good look at Savannah. She looked a little worse for the wear.

"Savannah, you look beat." Sheila said.

Savannah hadn't slept for almost two days at this point.

"I'm a little tired." Savannah said. "Things have drug out a little longer than I imagined."

Cammy immediately lifted her hand and began to scan Savannah.

Savannah glanced back at Sheila.

"Now, look what you've done." Savannah said.

Cammy thought the lull in action was a good time for Savannah to get a little rest.

"Maybe you can sleep a little bit." Cammy said.

Savannah figured it would make her feel worse at this point. She didn't want to fall asleep for a few minutes and then wake up with a headache. It seems she had a big enough one already.

"I'm fine." Savannah said. "The other teams will be here soon."

Sheila was aware they were in a hurry to get there. It would still take them a little more time. They could only go so fast under any given conditions.

"It's still about fifteen more minutes." Sheila said.

There were several groups on their way to join them.

"What about the other two teams of Terminators?" Cammy asked. "There's Dan and Frank in an SUV and Al and Ed in a box truck. What do you want to do with them?"

Savannah didn't want all of their resources in one place.

"I think they should hold outside of this area." Savannah said. "Maybe once all the surveillance is set, Hank and Larry can join them from the bunker site. We can leave this entire area behind us."

Cammy knew there were other Terminators out as well.

"What about Richard and Michael at the port?" Cammy asked.

Savannah was aware of how the Resistance Terminators were stretched a little thin because of the cruise. They'd needed to rely on Cameron's Terminators for a multitude of different things. There were all other jobs and assignments they needed to do as well.

"I think we can turn all of Cameron's Terminators back over to CamNet." Savannah said.

Cammy pointed out not all of Cameron's Terminators were involved with their current operation directly.

"Randy and Brian are still on the Young Detail." Cammy said.

Savannah wanted Cameron and CamNet to have their resources back. They'd needed to rely heavily on her for them. She didn't know CamNet needed to activate some Terminators on her own to carry out other tasks during the shortage of Terminators.

"They should go back too." Savannah said.

Cammy figured with all of the recent human hookups. There was a surplus of Metal girls.

"Cam, Holly, Gail and Hanna can return to regular duty assignments." Cammy said. "They can take over the Young detail."

Savannah looked at Cammy for a long moment. She didn't care for her statement. It seemed very insensitive to her. She wasn't sure if Cammy was serious or not. She hoped she wasn't. She wanted to take it one step further if she wasn't.

"If Young Jesse decides to stay and moves into my room, will it free Camille and you up as well for regular duty?" Savannah asked. "Think about it."

Cammy looked at Savannah and then at Sheila.

"Don't look at me, love." Sheila said. "I never had a full time human lover. I still want one."

Sheila didn't want to lose focus and start thinking about Leticia right now. A human lover seemed like a lot of work. She liked to 'eat and run'.

Savannah knew it always bothered Ally and Sheila. All the other Metal girls ended up with full time human lovers. The girls were 'Metal Lovers' in every sense of the word.

"I always thought we should adopt a rotating schedule with the human girls as lovers." Sheila said.

Cammy felt Sheila missed the point.

"It's not how love works." Cammy said. "You're with someone because you love them and they love you. It's more special than just sex."

Sheila felt Leticia's 'grip' inside her. Her feelings were very strong. Whenever the subject of Leticia entered her mind, there were always a multitude of different feelings. They seemed to tug at her from all directions.

"I know what it is." Sheila said. "I met someone like that. I want them all of the time."

Savannah and Cammy were both very surprised to hear her say it. They turned around in their seats. They wanted to know more.

"Is it a male or a female?" Savannah asked.

Sheila smiled at the thought.

"John is the only man for me." Sheila said. "He 'popped' all of us on the ship. At least it was Cameron using our chassis he 'popped'. We received the file in real time so it was almost the same as if it was us, even if it was Cameron."

Cammy already knew there were three girls on the ship who'd made the rounds and got 'passed around' through all of the girls.

"There were three girls on the ship." Cammy said. "What about the other ones?"

Sheila showed Savannah and Cammy a picture of Mary and Laura.

"These are the 'other ones'." Sheila said.

Savannah already viewed them before. She'd tried to follow what she could about the activities on the ship. She didn't want to get tagged for 'snooping'.

"They're beautiful." Savannah said.

Cammy already knew who they were too.

"Would you be with them, Savannah?" Cammy asked.

Savannah was pretty sure she would have done what everyone else did.

"I don't think I would've done it on my own, but based on how it was done on the ship; I think I would have tried them at least one time each." Savannah said. "I would have liked to see how they were. They're all much prettier than I am."

Cammy felt otherwise. She didn't think anyone was more beautiful than Savannah.

"No they're not." Cammy said.

Savannah suppressed a laugh. She knew they were. She appreciated Cammy's defense of her.

Sheila showed a photo of Leticia in her formal evening dress wearing all of her diamonds. They would have thought Sheila would show them a naked image. She showed Leticia at her best. It showed she really did care about her.

"This is Leticia." Sheila said. "She's my favorite. I'm in love with her."

Savannah looked at the image. She thought Leticia was stunning.

"She's beautiful." Savannah said. "She's a knockout."

Cammy was jealous. She was negative about it. She didn't want Sheila to needlessly endanger others. Their group dealt in death.

"You can't involve strangers in our affairs." Cammy said. "We're a threat to them. You know it."

They both saw the tears on Sheila's cheeks

"Don't you think I know that?" Sheila asked.

Savannah reached back and touched Sheila.

"You can come and see me if you're lonely." Savannah said.

Cammy looked at Savannah and then at Sheila. She cared for both of them deeply.

"I'm good with it." Cammy said. "I don't have a problem with it. You can see me when she's asleep."

Sheila looked over at Cammy and then at Savannah.

"You don't belong to any of us." Sheila said. "You have your true mate waiting for you. You need to step up and claim what is yours. Think about her too. She has feelings as well."

Savannah was about to respond to her statement. She didn't want anyone to rush things along.

Cammy spotted something coming up behind them.

"Here come the others." Cammy said.

Savannah looked back past Sheila.

"I see them." Savannah said. "I want to talk to them."

Sheila got out and returned to her SUV.

Cammy looked over as Sheila got in her SUV. She then looked back at Savannah.

"Sheila can't pursue the new girl." Cammy said.

Savannah didn't like mutual love thwarted.

"I know you're right." Savannah said. "I want to know what all her options are."

Cammy wondered what for.

"What options for whom?" Cammy asked. "Do you mean the new girl?"

Savannah knew the Resistance didn't own anyone. Everyone who was a part of it, worked with it, for it. They weren't there under obligation or duress. Everyone was there by choice. People changed their desires and goals over the years. Nothing was ever set in stone. She believed everyone had freedom of choice.

"I mean for Sheila." Savannah said. "She may want to leave the Resistance if she cares for the new girl enough and doesn't want to endanger her."

Cammy's mouth fell open slightly. She couldn't believe Savannah said it. She knew in an instant there was a possibility she could lose Sheila forever.

Young Allison listened to the conversation in Savannah's SUV.

Anna noticed what she was up to.

"Is what you're doing something you should be doing?" Anna asked.

Young Allison thought it was a matter of interpretation. Her interpretation was it was something she should be doing.

"Yes and no." Young Allison said. "The issues brought up there can change a lot of directions things go."

Anna knew she was on a timeline, even if it was never talked about.

"They'll affect me as well at some point." Anna said.

Young Allison looked at Anna for a long moment.

"Maybe they will." Young Allison said. "They'll also affect me."

Anna knew what she wanted and what reality was. They were two different things.

"I don't know what the future will hold." Anna said.

Young Allison chose her words carefully. She thought they mattered.

"Nobody does." Young Allison said.

Jesse didn't mention she'd made love with John.

Claire didn't mention she'd made love to Sarah

Young Jesse didn't mention she'd shared wild sex with Sarah.

It seemed they all carried a secret and it meant something to them.

Right now they all had each other.

They all took a 'time out' to watch each other share with the others, one on one, as love was made.

Claire couldn't help but notice Jesse and Young Jesse really seemed to be in love with each other. She found it as strange as she did a 'turn on'. It was almost like something inside of Jesse was now 'alive'. She hoped it was something that stayed alive in Jesse too. She thought it would be really nice to have Jesse find real inner happiness for once. She knew Jesse's inner demons tormented her, even if she hid them.

The Gray stood up and started for the door. He was going to take one of the vehicles and leave.

He wanted to get a little heavier armament to take with him. He opened the arms locker. He took out an AK-47 and a LAW rocket. He figured he might be able to stop the rogue HK Track with it.

The Gray's back really hurt right now. He just needed to rest for a little bit. He wanted to find a secluded spot.

The female Fanatic thought she heard some noise out in the passageway. She left Jill there with the dying man and decided to check it out. She began a more thorough search around the area. She had her Beretta up and ready.

Jill watched Jackie leave. She wasn't sure if she'd heard something or not. Maybe she just wanted to leave her alone with one of the men who'd abused her. She looked at the knife in her hand. She remembered what each of the men had done to her when they abused her. They were all like animals.

She seriously thought about emasculating the man before she killed him. She looked back at the door where Jackie had gone out. She turned back around and faced the incapacitated man on the ground.

"What you did to me was wrong." Jill said. "You knew it was wrong when you did it, but you still did it anyway."

The man tried to speak. It took some effort before he was able to formulate any words.

"You're nothing but a slutty Bitch." The man said. "I'm going to kill you."

Jill looked at him and laughed.

"You already did." Jill said. "I never would have done this if I hadn't been repeatedly abused. You killed me. All of you killed me. What comes around goes around."

Jill plunged the knife into the man's neck. She pulled it out and jammed it in again. She watched as the man tried to scream. He couldn't. Blood poured out of his neck and out of his mouth and nose. She wiped the blade of her knife off on his pants leg as he struggled to stay alive. He gasped and gagged.

She honestly hoped the act of not mutilating him showed there was still some humanity left in her. She felt justice was served.

Jill headed for the door. She took one look back. There was no longer any more movement from the man.

"I may be a Bitch, but I'm not a slutty Bitch." Jill said. "Payback is a Bitch."

Jill exited back into the main cavern of the entryway.

The female Fanatic made her way around the three trucks in a complete circle. She didn't spot anyone. The HK Track was where she'd left it. It still searched for any targets other than Jill and her.

She spotted Jill in the passageway. She knew she'd killed the man. She wasn't going to ask what she did or how. She touched her arm.

"I hope it makes things a little better for you." The female Fanatic said.

Jill glanced back at the doorway.

"I did what needed to be done." Jill said. "The world is a safer place."

The female Fanatic led Jill to a few other men she'd discovered. Two of them were the other truck drivers. They were the other two men who'd abused Jill at the warehouse. They were both dead. It was time to move on.

"Let me open the door here so we can take out one of the vehicles." The female Fanatic said. "There are three of them we can use."

She opened the large wooden doors. The bright sunlight flooded the passageway.

"I wasn't sure I'd ever see the sun again several times over the last few days." Jill said.

The female Fanatic didn't think so either. She actually thought it quite a few times since her return to the past.

"We need to live in the moment." The female Fanatic said.

Jill looked at the open door. A tight feeling grabbed her gut.

"Do you think any more of the terrorists will arrive?" Jill asked.

The female Fanatic looked around at the bodies.

"I hope so." The female Fanatic said. "It will give me more targets if they do."

Jill was ready to leave the mine behind.

"Where do we go from here?" Jill asked.

The female Fanatic indicated three of the vehicles. She reached in one of her pocket and pulled out another handful of money. She'd taken it off the dead men she'd just checked.

"You can leave this place anytime you want." The female Fanatic said. "You can resume your life. Put all this behind you and never look back. You've done more than enough to help me stop them. Take one of the vehicles and go. Thank you for everything you did to help me."

Jill looked at the three vehicles by the opening. She looked back at Jackie.

"You're not going to stop." Jill said. "You're going to keep doing this until you die. You don't need to. You can ask for more help."

The female Fanatic looked at Jill.

"There is no more help." The female Fanatic said. "I need to take one more look around. I hope I can find where the other trucks were taken. It's important they be destroyed. I'll be able blow the mine closed with the power cell."

Jill wondered how such a small device could be so powerful. She also wanted Jackie to know one more thing. She felt it was important.

"There is more help." Jill said. "I'm going to help you. I understand I might be killed or captured. I don't plan to be captured again. There's a greater cause to serve right now."

The female Fanatic wasn't going to turn down Jill's help. Jill was going to help serve SkyMaster. There was no higher calling.

"Thank you." The female Fanatic said. "Your service is greatly appreciated. Let me take one more look around. You can watch my back in case there's a straggler or someone wounded I didn't find in my initial search. It's very possible."

The female Fanatic was a little concerned about any new arrivals. She called the HK Track up to a position in back of the third truck. It would be able to challenge anyone who entered the mine at this point.

Jill was a little intimidated as the HK Track moved up. It still looked like a very deadly machine to her. The fact it could operate autonomously seemed to make it worse. It had already gone on a killing spree once. She knew it didn't matter to the machine. It just simply did what it was constructed for. It didn't know right from wrong. It didn't know anything. It just knew how to kill.

She wondered if Jackie was any different at this point. She looked back in the direction where the man she'd killed earlier was at. She wondered if she was any different either.

The female Fanatic and Jill began to search the area. They needed to get moving soon.

Tina needed to work fast. She should have time to move both of the men a little further away.

Lena was ahead of the men from the white van. She was aware of the incident with Tina. She moved over in her direction to see if she needed assistance.

Tina heard something off to the side. She quickly moved behind the rocks and held her silenced M9 in her hand.

Lena didn't want to spook Tina. She glanced at the drone image as she hurried.

"I'm about fifteen seconds away from your position." Lena said.

Tina looked at her phone to see if there was anything else happening around them. The only thing within close proximity was the two men from the white van. They seem to have picked up their pace a little.

Lena joined Tina.

"I'll take care of these two." Lena said. "You saw where they were looking earlier. Go back and check it out. You have about seven to ten minutes before the other two men arrive. I'll join you in five minutes. Who were these people anyway?"

Tina planned to get some answers before they left the mountain top.

"The man with the blue shirt is still alive." Tina said. "I wanted to question him."

Lena looked at the man she indicated.

"He seems to have a severe concussion." Lena said.

Tina remembered the way the men's heads bounced around on the rocks as she drug them to their current position.

"He may have bumped his head a few times on the ground." Tina said. "I was in a hurry to get them out of the area. Move them away and see what happens. I'll go back and check real quick."

Tina went back to check the area where she'd terminated the one man and took the other into custody.

Lena moved the two men further away from the location. She was no more careful with the one man than Tina had been. She didn't think it mattered.

Tina looked over the area. She didn't see anything to give away the fact of what was there. She could see the men had picked up their pace from the drone footage. She moved away from the area and joined Lena.

The two men began to search the area of where the bunker had been.

"I'm not even sure if this is the right place." The first man said.

The second man looked at his phone.

"You think this thing would work. We're standing right by the communications array with about thirty different communication devices on it. It looks like there's everything from microwave to satellite devices as well as every other kind in between." The second man said. "I can see there are footprints around here, if nothing else."

The first man noticed a few footprints as well. They seemed to have come from around the backside of the mountain. He didn't see where they went. They just sort of disappeared.

"Someone else was here at some point." The first man said.

The second man looked at what he indicated. He looked all around him.

"Well, right now we're the only ones up here." The second man said. "I haven't seen any empty shell casings around anywhere. If there was a battle up here, or anything else, I don't think anyone would ever know."

The two men moved away from the area where the bunker had once been. They headed up to the communications array itself.

All Good Things

One must always be aware
Of their personal surroundings
Be wary of all newcomers
As well as what tomorrow brings

It doesn't take much
To pull one's strings
To have emotions rubbed raw
Always hurts and stings

It doesn't take much
To over wind one's springs
Don't be roped into
Wearing someone else's rings

There are no such things
As simple unattached flings
They're most likely the leftovers
Of someone else's tailings

Always be very careful
When it comes to everyone's feelings
To handle them wrong will be
The end of all good things

Nobody
