Chapter 1462
They Are The Future
The presentation continued to where they got off of the ship and the action which followed around the port and the other ambush site.
There was a moment of silence as all the screens returned back to 'normal'. There was a lot for everyone to think about.
John found it almost hard to believe all of the Skynet and future related activity which went on. What made it worse was, he was living it up at the time while Savannah and Young Allison were the ones who took the fight to the enemy and needed to face death.
"I really don't know what to say." John said. "The team here did an outstanding job. I'm really at a loss for words."
Cameron stood and everyone else did too. She looked at the girls in the room. She gave Cammy a hug.
"I'm sorry for being rude to you." Cameron whispered.
Cammy was pleased to hear it. She figured it wouldn't hurt to try for a little more while Cameron was in a good mood.
"You can use my chassis again and make it up to me." Cammy whispered back. "Or you could be nice and let me have my 'one time' alone with John."
Anna and John Henry looked at each other with their secret exchange.
Cameron hugged and thanked John Henry, Anna, Summer, Young Allison and Savannah.
John was still awestruck.
"They're the bedrock of the Resistance." John said.
Cameron spent a moment to look at Summer, Young Allison and Savannah.
"They are the future." Cameron said.
John agreed. He'd just witnessed the proof firsthand.
"They are the future of the Resistance." John said.
Cameron looked at John. She wanted to make things clear to him.
"They are the future of mankind." Cameron said.
Cameron and John wanted to ask a few more questions from everyone. There were some things they wanted to know a little more about.
Sarah left Kyle and Jan behind. She headed for the commissary. She'd wanted to be with Claire and she was. It was her surprise encounter with Young Jesse which made her want more. After being with Young Jesse, Sarah was ready to try Jesse. The tight firm body Jesse sported tempted her for years. Now she'd experienced a 'taste' of it, quite literally. She wanted more. If she was with Claire again, she hoped it would come up.
The girls from the future were there in front of her all along and they'd always made it clear they were available. They'd never 'pushed' her. She now wished they would have. There were a lot of missed years there. Maybe she would mention it to Cameron at some point. If Cameron really did 'live her life over', again and again, she would want Cameron to encourage her to share with the girls sooner.
She was pleased to find Claire in the commissary alone. She looked both ways and around her before she went into the commissary. She saw it was clear. She didn't want any surprise visitors if they took things a little further.
Both of their faces brightened when they spotted the each other.
Sarah went straight to Claire and they kissed. It was a slow loving gentle kiss. It was a kiss of love.
Claire was pleased Sarah really seemed to care about her for more than sex. She could feel it in her kiss. She was more than willing to share sex and love with Sarah. She also wanted to share both with John.
Sarah couldn't help but touch Claire. She touched both of her breasts. Claire smiled and reciprocated. She was mindful of the time, as well as the location.
"Others may start to drift in soon." Sarah said. "Everyone is up."
They shared a quick last kiss and went to work. They wanted to have some things ready for everyone. Dessert could come later.
Samantha looked around. She entered the room with Riley and Precious. She wanted to ask about what she'd done with Jesse. She didn't feel she could muster any moral justification to do so. She'd been with all of the girls who were available.
"I can tend to Precious while you and Derek get ready for breakfast." Samantha said.
Riley thanked her and went to get Derek ready.
Samantha watched her go. She wanted to be with Riley. It was always Riley who she wanted to be with the most. She'd been with all of the others in the meantime. Who was she to judge anyone?
The four girls in Young Allison's room finished a few times each.
It really excited Vanna and Allison to watch Jesse and Young Jesse together. They started out slow and then went all out on each other. It looked really hot when they did the same things, the same way, at the same time and made the same sounds.
"I think I'm going to finish just watching them." Allison said.
Vanna reached down and touched her as she gave her a deep kiss. It drove Allison over the top and she finished along with Jesse and Young Jesse.
The girls changed the sheets and made up the bed and straightened everything up in Young Allison's room. They moved to Young Jesse's room and did the same thing. They didn't want to leave a mess for the Metal girls to need to clean up.
They all went back to their rooms to get ready and start the day off. They were surprised to find all the Metal girls were missing.
Once they were dressed, they went back into the hall.
"Where is everyone?" Allison asked.
Jesse heard Sheila and Gail discuss it earlier.
"There was a briefing today in the Command Center." Jesse said.
Vanna knew very few were invited to the briefing. It made her wonder what went on in there. She had a pretty good idea where the Metal girls would be.
"It was a closed meeting." Vanna said. "I bet I know where they are."
Vanna was about to lead them there when the sound of running footsteps grew louder.
"Hi, everyone." Jan said. "They sent me to see if you were done yet."
It was obvious everyone knew what they were doing. It was no different than usual in reality.
Young Jesse was a little embarrassed. She wasn't used to all the attention. Things were pretty sedate Down Under.
"Who said that?" Young Jesse asked.
Jan didn't think twice about it. She thought the information came from a good source.
"Summer did." Jan said. "She called me."
Allison was aware Summer knew everything she did, even if she wasn't right there when it happened.
"There's no getting around it." Allison said. "She knows everything and is very astute."
Jan grabbed Jesse's and Young Jesse's hands and led them away.
Vanna and Allison followed behind.
They shared a few more kisses along the way. They copped a few feels while they were at it.
Earlier:
The Metal girls were summoned by CamNet to report to the lab. When CamNet 'spoke', everyone listened.
They finished up and dressed. They soon ran into each other as they came out of the different rooms.
They were a solemn group as they filed into the lab. They weren't sure what it was about. They hoped CamNet wouldn't order them to be celibate. It was nothing of the sort.
CamNet provided a feed to them which was delayed from the one in the Command Center by a few minutes so she could edit whatever she needed to edit out of the live feed. There were things Young Allison and Summer asked to be 'left out'. It was at least in scope, if not in its entirety.
Gail, Holly, Cam, Camille, Sheila, Ally and Hanna were there.
They stood side by side and watched everything. It wasn't lost on any of them. They were the ones on the ship living it up with multiple sex partners, while Savannah was the one who was in the thick of it with Cammy. Young Allison played a big role too. It was a much bigger role than any of them imagined. Summer was involved as well.
There wasn't much for them to say as they watched it.
Gail was very upset at all the danger Savannah needed to face. It applied to Cammy and Young Allison as well.
"We all need to do more." Gail said. "I'm going to anyway."
Camille didn't have any Resistance matters to deal with Down Under. Anything they dealt with was indirectly related to the future.
"I want to do more." Camille said. "I don't see any action other than dealing with street punks and going after some sex trade operations."
Hanna wondered how involved everyone was Down Under.
"Does Young Jesse go with you?" Hanna asked.
Camille didn't want to see Young Jesse in danger, but she knew she was ready to expand.
"No." Camille said. "All we do is train and practice. She's very upset about it. Cameron doesn't want her to fight unless it's with Skynet."
Holly didn't like all the danger Savannah faced now and before as well.
"You all saw how many times Savannah was almost killed or severely wounded this last week." Holly said. "The burden needs to be shared."
Sheila saw the girls do things only a Terminator should need to do. They did it with style too. It wasn't lost on her, or any of the Metal girls, they also did things a Terminator wouldn't have been able to do because of the conditions.
"I think we were all impressed with the performance of Young Allison." Sheila said. "I know I was impressed by everything they both did."
It bothered them to watch Savannah stay behind to make sure everyone else was out or protected. She'd done it more than a few times over the years. They were the ones who were supposed to protect the humans. It wasn't supposed to be the other way around. They could always get a new chassis. Savannah couldn't.
"Savannah stayed to make sure all the Terminators were out in the one place." Cam said. "The Terminators couldn't function and she stayed behind to make sure they were all clear."
Young Allison's actions were more than impressive. She came alone to enter the fight. It was more than her love for Savannah why she did it too. It was because it needed to be done. She didn't hesitate. There was no Terminator with her.
The 'Allison' in Ally really reached out and touched her.
"Young Allison came on her own to back Savannah up." Ally said. "It was her first time in combat. She did it without any backup. Anna couldn't stop her or assist her. She knew the risks and she went anyway."
Gail could see how special the girls were. She wanted to remind everyone it's what they were too.
"Remember, they aren't men or women from a battle hardened future." Gail said. "They're girls."
All of the Terminators understood the title of the 'Chosen Ones' better now. The girl's actions spoke for themselves. The way they looked after the humans and Terminators, as well as the other machines, spoke volumes. They cared about all of them.
"They are the 'Chosen Ones'." Holly said. "It is justly so beyond all doubt."
Cam was in the battle for half the week, but her 'sister' Cammy was in it the whole week. She was at every encounter.
"Cammy needs some credit too." Cam said. "She was in all of it as well."
Camille checked and found out the humans were all at breakfast in the commissary.
The male Terminators who were at the base began to arrive to view the briefing when CamNet showed it a second time. The Metal girls all stayed to watch it with them when it started again. It was too compelling not to watch. All of them downloaded the file as well so they could watch it on their own. Somehow it was more comforting to watch it in the company of others. What was viewed needed to be shared.
John Henry notified John and the girls breakfast was almost ready and the others started to arrive in the commissary. Summer said she needed to arrive when Jan did and excused herself.
Cameron wanted everyone to join the group in the commissary. She sent John along with Cammy and Anna. She wanted to talk with Young Allison and Savannah. She wanted to speak to each of them alone.
John Henry excused himself and left the Command Center. He stopped by the commissary and collected Cammy, Anna and Samantha. They headed for the lab.
Young Allison took Savannah's hand.
Savannah understood what she wanted.
"You may talk to us together as one." Savannah said.
Young Allison smiled at Savannah and gently squeezed her hand.
It may have been the 'official', unofficial start, of their relationship which existed in reality since the first day they'd met. It was a relationship transferred by time from the future to the past, which was now the present.
Cameron praised them and thanked them. She went over things for each or them and together.
Young Allison wanted to make her status known.
"I'm ready for my temporal mission." Young Allison said. "I want my future now."
Savannah still didn't like the idea, but she knew it was necessary.
Cameron wanted Claire, Young Jesse and Savannah to go into the past with Young Allison at different times. She planned to be with Young Allison along with Anna for the entire time.
Anna previously mentioned to Cameron that Young Allison was ready for the laser hair removal procedure. She wanted Savannah to assist with the procedure with her guidance.
There was one other thing Cameron wanted. She wanted Savannah. Her close encounter with Leticia confirmed she was ready for the next step in her personal evolution.
Young Allison could see where the conversation was headed. It was going to be a very personal moment.
"I'm going to join the others." Young Allison said. "I'll have my moments like this too soon enough."
It left Cameron and Savannah alone.
Cameron watched the door close. She looked at Savannah and took her in her arms.
"I love you, Savannah." Cameron said. "I want to be with you."
Savannah was flooded with a rush of excitement.
"I love you, Cameron." Savannah said. "I want to be with you too."
Savannah could tell Cameron was about to kiss her. She wanted a better setting than the Command Center for it. She wanted it to be someplace special. She remembered how close they were on the pier. She thought it was a very beautiful setting. It was before the young child was swept out into the ocean by a riptide. There'd been more than a few moments when they'd almost shared. It was usually something Skynet related which got in the way.
"I need to join the others." Savannah said.
Savannah pulled free from Cameron. She really wanted to kiss her. It just wasn't the right place or time.
Cameron wanted Savannah to know why she wanted her now. She wanted Savannah to be her 'first'.
"I was almost with someone." Cameron said. "I couldn't control myself."
She didn't think it was a good idea to point out the only reason she hadn't completed what she was about to start, was because Leticia terminated and needed to be revived. It was Sheila's fault for pushing Leticia too far. Leticia actually terminated twice while she was there.
Savannah paused. She was aware of how things 'happened'. She really didn't know what to say to Cameron other than the truth and what everyone already knew.
"I've been with everyone." Savannah said. "There's plenty to share."
Cameron wanted to indicate how things could happen unexpectedly and fast.
"She was a stranger. I was ready to do everything. I couldn't stop myself." Cameron said. "I want you to be my first."
Savannah stopped and walked back up to Cameron. She wanted to remind Cameron there was a difference between sex and love. Even when a physical act was shared, it wasn't always the same thing, even if it was.
"Physical love can never stop emotional love. It can get in the way, but if the hearts are true, the emotional love will prevail." Savannah said. "I love you, Cameron. I always have. I always will too."
Cameron was a little worried. It was clear Savannah wasn't going to kiss her. It made her feel more than a little inadequate. She remembered John chose Future Riley instead of her. She was right there in his bedroom and on his bed. All he needed to do was take her. He didn't. He blew her off and then ran off with Future Riley to Mexico.
"Is it me?" Cameron asked.
Savannah touched her cheek. She didn't want Cameron to think such thoughts.
"It's me." Savannah said. "We'll know when it is the right time and place. I want it to be special."
Savannah exited the Command Center and left the door open.
Cameron faced the security camera. She wanted to send CamNet a message.
"She belongs to me." Cameron said. "Do you hear me?"
The monitors all went black.
Cameron walked out of the Command Center.
The monitors all now displayed a skull and crossbones symbol.
John wasn't sure what Cameron was going to do, but he wasn't going to stop her. He joined the group in the commissary. He stopped by and looked at Precious. Summer and Jan were now 'in charge' of her. Riley was with Derek.
Samantha left with Cammy and Anna. John Henry led them off somewhere. They were on their way to the lab.
He looked around. There weren't any Terminators present. Young Allison soon joined the group. She spent a lot of time looking back towards the Command Center. He understood her worry. It was his worry too. Savannah and Cameron would be happy to be alone forever. He felt the urge to go to her and say something.
Allison spotted Young Allison. She wanted to head her off. She whispered something to Vanna and they headed for John.
Things quickly played out differently than John expected. Vanna and Allison cornered him and sat him down at a table. They sat on each side of him. Young Jesse and Jesse sat across from him. He thought of his times with all four of them. He'd only been with Jesse once. It was his most special encounter with the girls. Somehow the 'real Jesse' was able to reach out from inside herself. It was something beautiful.
He thought Young Allison was going to join them. She started over but Claire arrived with several plates of food and sat down next to Jesse before Young Allison could.
Claire and Young Allison looked at each other. With her look, Claire made it clear she was going to be with John before Young Allison was.
At that moment, John knew he would be with Claire next. It was good to be alive and not confused. His gaze drifted over towards Young Allison. Someone's foot bumped him under the table. They wanted to keep his attention on them, not Young Allison. He wasn't sure which one of them it was. He didn't think it was Claire.
Savannah wanted to kiss Cameron very much. She just didn't feel the setting was right. It needed to be better than where they were. She wanted them to be alone. She wasn't happy with how her body looked right now either. She felt like 'damaged goods'. She wouldn't feel comfortable 'presenting' herself to anyone new how she currently looked.
She needed to 'collect' herself some. She wanted to run back into the Command Center and kiss Cameron. The statement about the 'stranger' bothered her. She was aware of the three girls from the ship. Like Young Allison, she did snoop around at times on the security cameras on the ship. CamNet allowed her to see anything she wanted. She was very clandestine about it. She didn't want Cammy to know.
As far as she could tell, Young Jesse wasn't with the three girls. All the other girls were except Young Jesse and Cameron. Cameron sounded like she almost got caught up in the moment. It almost happened to her in the two futures she'd visited a few times. There were others she was almost seduced by. She could tell Future John hoped to 'break her in' on many occasions. Cameron and Duplicate Cameron both assured him it would be his last encounter as a 'man'.
She needed to hold it together. She spotted Claire cut Young Allison off to sit with John. She was sure it was a combination of desire and protection. Claire didn't want her daughter to become active with a male too soon. It was even clearer she wanted it for herself.
She approached Young Allison from behind.
"Your true love is here." Savannah whispered.
Young Allison looked at her and smiled. It looked like she was going to kiss her.
Cameron thought about joining the group in the commissary. She didn't want to be the focus of attention. It always seemed to happen. Everyone always looked at her.
She wasn't sure about the message Savannah sent her. It was clear they wanted the same things. Maybe she shouldn't have mentioned the close encounter with Leticia. She wanted to be honest. She wanted Savannah to know she almost failed her.
It did trouble her to think Savannah might be worried about her appearance. She knew appearance was always a big factor in any relationship, even if everyone said it wasn't. It was. It was especially so at the beginning of a relationship. In a long term relationship, it didn't matter as much. Nothing seemed to matter as much. It was mostly toleration. She did understand Savannah's concern. She would never be with Savannah if she was shot up herself. She didn't even like John to see her damaged later on. She avoided him whenever she was damaged. She didn't want to give him a reason to look for someone else.
Cameron went the back way and headed for the lab. It was where all of the Terminators were at. It was where her own kind was at. It made her wonder. Were they her own kind? Was she really just a Terminator? Was she more? Was she less?
Young Allison stopped short of kissing Savannah in the commissary.
Young Jesse watched them. She could see how much Young Allison loved Savannah. She knew it was because Young Allison didn't have others to share with. They all shared with everyone and their Terminator girlfriends. There was always as much sex as anyone wanted. The love was nice too. The human girls were all better at it. The human girls could all deliver true emotions and feelings.
Now she looked at Vanna. Vanna really shared love with her on the ship. It touched her deeply. Sure Vanna was a little older, but it didn't make a difference. Her thought made her glance over at Sarah. She was older yet. It didn't bother her in the slightest. Sarah was highly desirable. It was one wild and satisfying fling they'd shared. She would do it again anytime. She swore to keep it secret with Sarah. She looked at John and smiled. She'd done the 'mother-son' thing without even trying. She looked at Claire and Allison. She'd also done the 'mother-daughter' thing. She looked at Jesse. She'd also done 'herself'.
Savannah and Young Allison sat down together.
"We're different from all of them." Young Allison said.
Savannah didn't think so.
"Are we?" Savannah asked.
Young Allison was very confident.
"We already know our future." Young Allison said.
Savannah wasn't sure everything was set in stone.
"I think they all do too." Savannah said. "Let's get some food."
Before they could get up, Summer arrived with two plates of food.
"Not all of us know our future, even if we're the ones who should." Summer said.
Young Allison knew Summer was gifted.
"Do you know our future?" Young Allison asked.
Summer didn't want the girls to worry about anything.
"The future is what we make it." Summer said.
Savannah wasn't so sure about it. She looked over at the girls from the future. One of them was 'her'.
"The future can also make us." Savannah said.
Savannah knew it wasn't always a good thing. The ones who were 'confused' didn't have a good prospect for going forward.
The attacker of the white van knew there would probably be a car around the corner at any minute. He needed to get to his vehicle and get away. He was pumped full of adrenaline right now. He was in survival mode. He got to his feet and almost immediately collapsed. His ankles hurt severely. He was sure they were going to hurt a lot more later on. Right now he needed to get to his car and get away from there.
He reached the car and opened the door. He got in. He quickly realized the keys were in his pocket. He fumbled around and pulled them out. He got them into the ignition and turned it. The car turned over slowly. He knew the battery was low. The car started. He immediately dropped it into gear and took off.
He checked his rear view mirror. He assumed the vehicle sent out to intercept him would take the shortest route to get to where he was last seen headed. He realized it could come around in front of him. It would probably try to block the road if it did. He would drive up on the curb. If he needed to get around it. He would go around the rear end of it. If he were to slam into it, the rear end was easier to knock out of the way than the front end with the engine.
He also needed to consider the possibility there was more than one car sent out.
He made it to the first street and turned left. Now he was faced with a new dilemma. Should he continue in the same direction or should he make a left or a right turn at the first or second street. It was possible if the pursuing vehicle didn't spot him on the street behind their building, it might continue on the side street to try to pick him up if he made a left or a right off of the other cross street. They also didn't know for sure he was in a vehicle. They'd almost walked in from several blocks away but decided to drive up to the building they'd entered from at the last moment.
The attacker decided to continue straight for another minute before he would make a right hand turn.
Earlier:
There were half a dozen men in the building. Five of them were asleep. It was morning but it was early.
The man on watch felt his head nod a couple times. He shouldn't be too sleepy because he'd only come on duty a couple of hours ago. It was the boredom of doing the same thing every day, over and over. Not much ever changed. He was aware of the recent attacks on some of the other locations. It was one of the reasons why they'd diversified. The only time they needed to get a big group together, was if they were going to carry out an operation. So far they hadn't done any of those.
There were security cameras around the building. It wasn't one of the cameras which alerted him to the danger. It was the dog in back. It was at the building one over from them in the rear. It only barked for a short time, but it was an aggressive bark. It made him look at the rear monitors.
He was actually able to see two men come over the gate. He knew it wasn't anything good. It was daylight, but it was early in the morning. The sun came up early this time of the year.
He immediately sounded an alert. It was to notify everyone something was about to happen. He checked the other monitors to see if anything else was happening around their building. So far nothing else was spotted.
He was a little surprised when one of the men showed up a few seconds later. He was fully dressed and carried a rifle with a scope on it. He quickly told him what was about to happen. The other man started up the ladder steps to the roof access.
The other men begin to file out. They were all in various stages of dress. They all carried weapons.
The man on the roof reported contact. He fired at one of the attackers and scored. He fired at the second one but lost him. He thought he was going to go to the property on the east side because of the dog on the west side. He had the spot zeroed where the assailant should go over the fence. Nothing happened.
He swung the rifle over to the west side and spotted the man. He fired off a quick shot. He didn't score. He took more time to aim. The man was just about to the corner. He fired and saw a puff of white dust come off the wall near the man's head. He wasn't sure if he got him or not. He saw something else that would. It was the dog. The dog was very aggressive. It was after the man. It seemed to move very unsteadily. He wondered if it was hurt.
He heard the roll up door open below him. Seconds later a vehicle exited and went around to the front. He checked with the man at the monitors. He reported two of the others were already outside in the front. There was nothing else spotted anywhere around the building. He was directed to remain where he was at for now. He was to watch the sides and the front. What happened in the rear may have just been a diversion for a larger attack.
One man got into the car with his weapons. Another man opened the roll up door. He drove out into the rear parking lot. He didn't know if he'd be shot at or not. He drove around the side of the building to the front. The two men who'd been sent out were there waiting for him. They each got into the car when he momentarily paused. One was in the front with him, the other one was in the back. They would cover each side of the vehicle and be able to shoot either forward or backwards if it was necessary. They knew there was an assailant on foot on the street in back of them. It was where they were headed.
The car reached the intersection a short time later. The driver didn't spot a vehicle. He didn't spot the man either.
"There's nothing here." The driver said.
They knew the man could be on foot.
"I don't see anyone." The first man said.
The second man looked as well.
"I don't either." The second man said.
The driver decided to turn down the street in back of their building. If the man was on foot, he couldn't have gone too far. If he'd entered a waiting vehicle, he was most likely long gone. He stopped at the building directly behind theirs. It was where the attackers were first spotted. The dog at the building next door was right up at the gate on the far side of the next property over. It barked incessantly. The two men who got in the vehicle with him got out to look around.
"Will check this area out." The first man said. "See if you can spot the vehicle or anyone on foot. You can notify us if you do."
The driver of the car took off. The other two men needed to go over the gate and check on the attacker who'd been shot. They needed to be wary of any others in hiding.
Lena and Tina continued their journey. They were closer to the location but not close enough. They still thought the drones could come down and pick them up. There was no other traffic around. The location was very remote and isolated.
They looked at a zoomed in drone image.
"There's smoke coming out of the building." Lena said.
Tina was very displeased they weren't there.
"We should be the ones causing it." Tina said.
It was more than likely the female Fanatic started some type of attack. With the drones at altitude, there was no way for them to know if there'd been gunfire or not. If there were any explosions they hadn't been very large.
The drone image of the watchmen out in front showed him get up from his position and go back inside of the building.
"I'm sure there's an attack going on." Lena said.
More and more smoke poured out of the building. No one else entered or exited.
There was an explosion several minutes later. The door where the HK Track exited the building on the side earlier was blown off. Thick black smoke began to pour out of it.
"It looks like what happened at the warehouse." Tina said.
Lena figured they had the same materials at both locations.
"I'm sure it's going to end the same way." Lena said.
It wasn't long until there was a hole in the roof. Vast amounts of black smoke begin to pour out of the building.
One man ran out and headed for the next building over. The man who ran away continued over towards the building on the other side. It was the building closest to the highway. He fumbled around at the door for a while before he was able to open it.
CamNet's Terminators continued to watch the action unfold.
The female Fanatic didn't want to give away their presence until some of the events began to play out. The door from the hall opened and men began to come out. Some of them wore pants and a shirt. Some of them only wore their underwear. None of them were armed.
The leader was the first one out. He immediately saw where the fire was at. It obviously wasn't a false alarm.
"Someone get a fire extinguisher." The leader screamed.
The leader, along with several men, headed over towards the burning bench. Some of the cans on top of it exploded. It sent more burning liquid around.
Four of the men were over by the burning bench. Two of them used fire extinguishers. They attempted to put out the flames.
"Aim at the base of the flame, not the top." The leader shouted.
The man from outside entered the building. He headed over and opened the roll up door where the vehicles were parked. They would be able to move some of them outside of the building if they couldn't control the fire. He grabbed a fire extinguisher off of the wall and went over to assist the others.
With the roll up door open, the fire expanded in size. The men attempting to fight it needed to fall back.
They could all hear one of the HK Tracks start to move.
The leader looked over and noticed it was the one they'd tested earlier
"What the Hell?" The leader asked. "It's supposed to be turned off and shut down."
Before anyone could respond, it opened up. Two of the men were immediately hit with minigun fire. The other ones who'd come to assist scattered. They headed for the closest cover. It was the crates off to the side. Four of them made their way over there.
They could see the HK Track moving around and firing at various targets. They felt relatively safe where they were at. One of the men looked behind them. He was a little concerned at what he saw.
"We need to get out of here." The first man said. "If the HK Track fires a missile or opens up on us, it's going to hit these drums."
No sooner than he'd finished his sentence, the timer on the satchel charge reached 'zero'. The satchel charge exploded along with four of the drums of chemicals. There was a massive fireball along with the explosion. The four men were instantly killed. The side door was blown off the building. The vehicles in front of the big rigs were soon on fire as the burning chemicals ran underneath them.
The female Fanatic kept track of everything which occurred. So far there were six men down for good. There were still a few others. They were moving back towards the front.
They could still hear the HK Track moving around. It fired the minigun every now and then. So far nothing was directed in their direction. It was operating within the thick black smoke from the burning chemicals. They couldn't even see it.
A section of the roof where the explosion occurred earlier collapsed inward. Most of the flames and smoke started to go through it. They were a little surprised to see the HK Track was on fire as it moved around. They looked in the other location where the other three had been parked. None of them were visible. They'd evidently all been knocked over In the blast.
Jill I was a little surprised to watch everything go down. So far they'd remained in hiding. Jackie wanted everything she set into motion to play out. She kept a lookout for either of the truck drivers who'd abused her at the warehouse. She spotted one of them. He'd survived the initial attack and explosion.
"I see one of the men." Jill said.
The female Fanatic wanted to try to take as many of them down at once.
"As soon as I start shooting, I want you to do the same." The female Fanatic said. "I want you to work the left side towards the right side. I'll work the right side towards the left side. We should be able to get all of them."
They were a little surprised to see one of the men produce a LAW rocket. They could see it was the man from the mine. He fired at the burning HK Track and scored.
The female Fanatic opened up on the men in the same moment the HK Track was hit. Jill did as well. The remaining men fell.
She could see the HK Track was in serious trouble. She could hear the ammunition of the minigun cooking off as it burnt. There was a continual shower of sparks coming out of the side of it where the LAW rocket had penetrated.
"If you even think anyone is still alive, shoot them." The female Fanatic said. "Some of them may have a pistol or a knife."
Jill moved up alongside Jackie. She heard Jackie fire a couple of times. She noticed the truck driver she'd spotted earlier. She could see he'd been hit multiple times. His eyes were still open. Every time he opened his mouth, blood came out of it. She stood over him. His eyes widened some as he recognized her.
"Payback's a Bitch." Jill said.
Jill shot him in the face.
The female Fanatic quickly checked over the men who weren't being consumed by the flames. They were all dead now. She watched Jill take care of one of her previous abusers. Jill pointed out another one of the dead men was the other one. There was an explosion near the burning HK Track. It was one of the rockets it carried. The shower sparks increased dramatically.
"We need to get out of here." The female Fanatic said.
She'd wanted to look around a little more in the front. It was no longer safe to be in the building. In fact, it was no longer safe to be around the building anywhere, including the outside.
They headed for the open roll up door.
The smoke began to build up again as more crates inside the building began to burn.
Jill was a little concerned about their whereabouts.
"Are we going to take the rear car or go back to ours?" Jill asked.
The female Fanatic wanted to get back to their vehicle for the rest of the weapons it contained.
They were almost to the opening when they heard the sound of tires squealing. The female Fanatic carefully looked out of the opening. She saw a car exit the building next door. It headed for the highway. It turned in the direction they'd come from. It was headed back towards the crossroad's junction.
"Damn." The female Fanatic said. "It looks like one of them got away."
She didn't necessarily think it was a bad thing. Maybe they could lead them somewhere.
There was another much bigger explosion somewhere in the building. It caused both of them to be knocked down. They quickly got back up.
"Let's take this car and go." The female Fanatic said. "There's going to be a massive explosion here very soon."
They headed for the car the man drove from the mine. The keys were in it, they'd checked earlier. They started it and backed out of the building.
Jill wondered about the size of the explosion. She thought the last one which knocked them down was pretty big. She thought about the one she'd witnessed earlier.
"Will it be like the one at the mine?" Jill asked.
The female Fanatic was sure it would be a little more spectacular.
"It will be larger. There's no mountain to contain this one." The female Fanatic said. "This entire building is going to be a crater. The buildings around it are going to come down as well."
Jill looked back as they drove away. She knew it was a really big building. She hoped they were far enough away before it happened.
The female Fanatic pulled off of the dirt road onto the highway. She could barely make out the other vehicle in the distance. It looked like the driver was really pushing it. She'd gotten a look at the vehicle so it would help her identify it later on. She didn't know if they would recognize the vehicle they were in or not. It only arrived a few hours ago. She took one look back in the direction where their vehicle was at. She didn't want to go back to it. There was probably going to be debris all over the highway when at least one of the power cells of the HK Tracks exploded.
"Roll down your windows." The female Fanatic said. "I don't know how powerful the shock wave will be. It might break the glass. Don't look back. Scoot down in your seat."
The female Fanatic stayed on the gas pedal hard. She tried to make herself as small as possible in the seat. She wanted to put some distance between the building and them.
They Are The Future
When there's too much pressure
It can cause anxiety and apprehension
A crack will expand into a fissure
Things will soon rupture
When neither will compromise
The strain will lead to a fracture
Everything falls apart as failure
When neither is content
Things become painful like torture
Look at the big picture
There's still more to be had
There is no need for closure
Don't worry about culture
Individuals are what matter more
There's no need to increase the temperature
Build a strong structure
It is the way to heal
Together things will suture
Learn to enjoy the pleasure
Along with life's finest
They are the future
Nobody
