Chapter 1470
They Can Look
Young Allison felt a little left out of the picture. She understood the priorities under the current circumstances. It was nice to sit in the nose of the B-25 and just relax a little. There was a really good view of everything from the nose. If she moved up towards the front, she could see down below them as well as off to both sides and out in front of them and up above them. The only thing she couldn't see was behind them. She was surprised when Anna crawled through the tunnel and joined her.
"How's the view?" Anna asked.
Young Allison looked over at Anna as she crawled through. Her top hung down a little. It gave Young Allison a good view inside the front of her shirt. Even though she'd seen the goods many times, a little refresher was nice.
"It just got better." Young Allison said.
Anna looked down and saw what Young Allison's reference was directed at.
"Just remember, people are going to do it to you too, even if they don't comment on it." Anna said. "I don't have to wear a bra. You should."
Young Allison felt everyone did it in some way. Everyone looked at everyone else. Even the people who said they didn't. She felt there was a big distinction between looking and touching.
"They can look, but they'd better not touch." Young Allison said.
Anna sat next to Young Allison once she'd repositioned the seat cushions. There was plenty of room for them to sit side by side, even if it was a little uncomfortable. She wanted to reassure Young Allison about her safety.
"No one will touch anything on either of us if I'm around." Anna said.
Anna gave Young Allison a report on Young Jesse's flying. It was perfect.
"It sounds like she's the best pilot of us all." Young Allison said.
Anna was aware if someone wanted to be good at something, they needed to practice everyday. There was a lot of truth to the statement, practice made perfect.
"She gets a lot of practice. She does have the most flight time in every aircraft type." Anna said. "There's not a lot to do Down Under."
Young Allison smiled. She decided to let the statement slide. She'd seen plenty happen 'down under' around the house and on the internet. She decided to focus on their current mission.
"Are they going to do any gunnery practice?" Young Allison asked.
Anna was sure one thing would lead to another.
"I can't imagine they wouldn't since Cameron gave them a heading to follow." Anna said.
Young Allison looked off to the side. The gun barrels were very near where she was seated. They were behind her. All the projectiles would need to pass alongside of her.
"I don't know if I want to be here when the four fifties cut loose." Young Allison said.
Anna tilted her head slightly. She figured she'd actually be a little closer to the weapons when they were in use.
"It would be different." Anna said. "I'll probably need to reload for them again."
It was Anna's usual function.
Young Allison thought maybe she should go to a place out of the way.
"I might go to the tail gun position." Young Allison said.
Savannah kept a watchful eye on Young Jesse. She did excellent at the controls.
Cameron checked out the top turret a few times as they flew once Anna left. The sky was clear for twenty miles around them. She wanted to test the girls' proficiency.
"In fifteen miles, you should have a surface contact." Cameron said. "Treat it as a hostile target."
Young Jesse looked over at Savannah. She thought it would be better for Savannah to give her instructions for the gunnery practice.
"You got it?" Young Jesse asked.
Savannah was aware fifteen miles wasn't very far.
"I got it." Savannah said.
They would be there in no time.
Young Allison and Anna exited the nose. Young Allison hurried over the bomb bay crawlway and headed for the tail gun position. She reported she was strapped in and secure forty five seconds later.
Cameron and Anna would reload as necessary.
In just a few minutes Savannah spotted something.
"I see the target." Savannah said.
There was a piece of floating debris.
Savannah looked back to make sure everyone was secure. She opened up the throttles. The Mitchell surged forward.
Young Jesse watched everything as Savannah talked her way through the targeting information.
The adrenaline surged through Savannah and Young Jesse.
Riley wanted to get some kissing in too since they'd started out with the 'gold'. A kiss was always better afterwards anyway.
She repositioned around. She could see the faint outline of 'Claire'. Her hair seemed different or shorter. Maybe it was just the dim light.
They touched each other's breasts as they kissed.
The kiss was wild and deep. They could both experience everything. It made the kiss wilder.
Riley thought 'Claire's' breasts would feel larger. Maybe it was because she was lying down. Some women really flattened out when they did. They were still firm and soft. The nipples were very erect.
She felt 'Claire' reposition and work on her breasts now. She should be able to get a little something out of both of them if she worked on it. She did.
Sarah was thrilled by everything. She was sure it was 'Vanna' at this point. What she did now confirmed it. She must have been with Precious right before she came here. Not a whole lot came out, unlike Jesse.
Riley was thrilled to be with 'Claire'. They kept it simple and quiet. She needed to get back to her room. She hadn't been in Claire's room for very long. It was enough to give her what she wanted.
She shared one final kiss with 'Claire'. She quickly dressed and slipped back out. She hurried around the back way to her room and carefully opened the door.
She made it back inside and looked around. She opened the door to the nursery. She wasn't sure why it was closed. Samantha was in one corner. Jesse held Precious in another. She was asleep now. She didn't know just seconds before she'd opened the door to the nursery that Samantha was hard at 'work' on Jesse. She'd moved away and quickly unlocked the door.
Riley carefully took Precious from Jesse and thanked her for coming by.
Jesse lingered a few moments before she closed up her top. She left. She started towards Claire's room.
Samantha saw the direction Jesse went when she left before the door closed.
Jesse wanted to check something in her room real quick. She turned around and went back the other way.
Sarah lay in bed a little longer. She hoped Claire or Jesse showed up. It didn't look like it was going to happen.
She could hardly believe it. She'd been with Claire, Young Jesse, Jesse and now 'Vanna'. She didn't know it was really Riley.
She headed out the back way so Jan and Summer wouldn't see her come from Claire's room.
She wasn't really sure what came over her recently. One thing was for sure. The more of it she did, the more she wanted. She felt ten years younger. She felt alive again. The past was troubling to her. To be with a female again put the past behind her for a further past which was as beautiful as it was fulfilling. She briefly thought of her roommate when things all started and the fate which consumed her. She shook it off. Life moved forwards, not backwards. It was what it was. Right now it was pretty good.
Claire finished three more times with John behind her. It was everything she'd ever wanted. She was glad to know it wasn't her who couldn't finish while making love to a male. It was all the losers who'd never cared if she made it or not. It was always wick, wham, bam, thank you ma'am. Wait. They never even thanked her. They'd just left her with the aftermath to deal with.
She needed to get back and see how the girls were doing. She didn't want to overstay her welcome and upset Cameron. She was aware Jesse was supposed to spend some time with John.
John and Claire playfully showered. It was a quick one.
She dressed in front of John which was kind of fun too. They shared a last kiss as she went out the door. She wanted to remind John about something important to her.
"I'll let Jesse know you're available." Claire whispered in his ear. "You can come by and see me anytime. My door, among other things, is always open for you."
John wasn't sure where to go with her statement.
"Thanks." John said. "I'll keep it in mind."
John was pretty sure he'd never be able to forget her offer, especially the way it was worded.
Claire smiled and blew him a kiss.
She headed for her room.
Claire thought she saw someone at the end of the hall for a second but they were gone. She didn't know it was Sarah who'd just left her room. She'd just missed out on the 'mother-son thing'. She didn't think about what Sarah would have needed to face if they were to share right now.
She checked in on the girls for a few minutes and went back to her room.
She wondered if what happened was real or not.
Claire reached down and touched herself. It was real. It was one thing which was the same. The difference this time was she wanted it.
She'd only left John behind a few minutes ago. She already looked forward to the next time, and the time after. She really wondered if there would be a next time. She was very content and satisfied with her 'one time' with John. The rewards had been multiple times. Her time with John was everything she always wanted it to be. Things had come a long way since the time she regained consciousness on a bed in a room at a party somewhere. Some guy she didn't even know was plowing her. By the time it all began to make sense, he finished. Then the second one started….
Jesse found what she wanted and hurried out of her room.
She spotted Claire go around the corner at the far end of the hall. She hurried after her. She saw her go in to check on Jan and Summer. She slipped past the door and went into Claire's room to wait for her.
Samantha made sure Riley set Precious down in her crib.
Riley went to her room and soon she could hear the shower running. She peeked inside Riley's room as she was about to enter the shower.
Samantha wanted to verify there was no one in John's room now but John.
She hurried out into the hall to John's room. She listened at the door. The room was quiet. John was alone now. It confirmed her suspicions. Riley must have been with John. There was no other logical explanation. The timing is what seemed to prove it.
She hurried back to Riley's room with her 'secret'. She didn't know how she'd be able to prevent Cameron from terminating Riley. It disturbed her so. She went into standby next to Precious crib. Her left hand trembled some as she did.
Claire left Jan and Summer behind and went into her room. She realized there was someone in her bed.
"I've been waiting for you." Jesse said.
Jesse actually hoped to find Sarah in there. Claire would do since she knew where she'd been.
Claire was a little self conscious about what she'd just done. She was sure the results would be quite evident.
She felt a little uneasy as she stripped. Jesse told her she liked the next part before. It wasn't something she would look forward to under normal circumstances. These weren't normal circumstances, these were special circumstances. If the roles were reversed, she would do the same herself.
"Get ready for the 'spice of life'." Claire said.
Jesse lightly moistened her lips.
"It's just my speed." Jesse said.
Jesse looked forward to the time when she would be able to be in John's arms again. She wasn't really sure when it would be. Right now she would have to settle for runner up.
Sarah went the back way to avoid the rec room. She hoped to run into Jesse in her room. She might see Vanna and Allison too. She didn't know Vanna and Allison were out and she'd actually been with Riley, not Vanna.
Jesse's door was open. She went inside and looked around. Jesse wasn't there.
She thought about stripping and waiting in Jesse's bed. She would turn out the lights and shut the door all the way but not close it tight. It would prevent any casual passersby from seeing who was in there. It would be a surprise for Jesse.
She didn't know John was waiting for Jesse and might come looking for her. She might be in for a really big surprise….
Sheila wanted to find a future Scavenger. They hadn't spotted any yet. It was only the afternoon right now. They weren't usually too hard to find at night. There were certain locations where they tended to congregate. She drove around and wanted to find someone who was abusive to a female. They didn't spot anyone yet.
They did spot a single tagger. Sheila did the same thing with them as well. The tagger was left withering on the ground with paint in his eyes and screaming in pain.
She'd offered to let Cammy or Ally have the shot. They both wanted to meet up with Mary, Laura and Leticia instead. She didn't see any harm in some good clean fun and some street justice. Tagging was a crime and an eyesore. She smiled to herself. It was an 'eye sore' alright, or some sore eyes, at least for one punk. They would most likely be a future Scavenger anyway. She figured they'd gotten off easy.
It was time to meet with the girls. Sheila headed towards the location.
Cammy was filled with anticipation about what would happen.
Ally and Sheila told her more about the girls and how they responded to the things they'd shared with them. They went over everyone's code name again including their entire group who'd been on the ship. They reminded her John was 'Tony' and the girls would all ask about him at some point since they were going to think she was 'Barbara'.
Sheila pulled up a block away and observed the house. She'd already obtained some additional information on each one of them.
"I see Leticia's car and Laura's car." Sheila said.
Ally quickly glanced over at Sheila.
"I see you know a lot about them." Ally said.
Sheila worked with CamNet earlier. She even knew what they looked like every year they were in school. CamNet provided her with every known image and record on a computer hooked to the internet. She didn't see it as a big deal.
"I know everything about them." Sheila said.
Cammy wanted to know the pecking order. She didn't want to step on anyone's toes.
"Who will be with whom first?" Cammy asked.
Sheila wanted to be with Leticia. She didn't care who the others were with.
"I'm going to be with Leticia first." Sheila said. "We can switch out. They're good about it."
Ally was pleased at how willing they were to switch partners.
"They like to share." Ally said.
Ally remembered Sheila talked Laura into getting some 'work' done. She looked around to see if Sheila brought any supplies for it. She didn't spot them. She didn't want to be there for it. She knew Sheila wouldn't stop once she started. She learned the hard way through personal experience when she'd let Sheila borrow her chassis before. It wasn't returned in the same condition. It took some time for everything to regenerate.
Sheila looked around the area. She soon spotted what she wanted to see.
"There they are." Sheila said. "Mary is the one driving."
Cammy zoomed in on the three girls in the car. She'd already observed their images. She thought they look even better in person.
"They are hot." Cammy said.
Ally knew things would get hotter as the afternoon progressed.
"Wait until you're in the sack with them." Ally said.
Cammy knew she would need to remove all of her clothing. She wasn't sure she wanted some items she normally carried to be found. It might cause a panic.
"What about our weapons?" Cammy asked.
Ally understood Cammy's concerns. They didn't have weapons with them when they were with the girls on the ship. They only carried them when they were off of the ship.
"We'd better leave them here." Ally said.
Sheila didn't see it as a problem. The three of them were Terminators.
"We are weapons." Sheila said.
Cammy removed her weapons. She felt 'naked' without any weapons. It'd been a busy week.
They stowed everything.
They waited until the girls went inside. Sheila drove forward and parked behind Mary's car.
Ally could see Cammy's concern about being unarmed. She wanted to offer her some peace of mind.
"There's a security camera on the one house." Ally said and pointed. "We can have John Henry watch the SUV for us. There are a lot of weapons in here."
Sheila backed up. While Ally made the call.
The three Metal girls got out of the SUV and headed for the front door.
Sheila looked at Cammy. She thought she looked a little uneasy.
"You look worried." Sheila said.
Cammy hadn't been on the ship with the others. She wasn't part of the sexual 'free for all' which occurred there. She hadn't pursued people she didn't know.
"I've never done anything like this before." Cammy said. "I mean with strangers."
Sheila saw Ally was still at the SUV. She wanted to mess with Cammy.
"Haven't you?" Sheila asked. "Are you sure about it?"
Cammy wondered if Sheila referred to their eight years in the past. Most of those files were still blocked.
"I don't remember it if I did." Cammy said. "Do you?"
Sheila frowned a little bit.
"I hoped you could tell me." Sheila said. "Almost everything is still blocked."
Ally caught up to them.
"Let's go." Ally said. "It's time for dessert."
Sheila was more than ready. It hadn't been very long since they'd last seen the girls. On one hand, it only seemed like one day. On the other hand, it seems like an eternity. Either way, it was time to get caught up and pick up where they'd left off.
"It's just my speed." Sheila said.
The Reese brothers were on a recon with Jim and Bob.
Derek was with Bob. Kyle was with Jim as they approached the welding firm. They were on foot now.
There were actually two locations, side by side, to check. There was no reason they couldn't check them simultaneously. If someone wanted to hide something, it would be harder for them to do.
"We'll check out the machine shop." Derek said. "You two can check out the welding shop."
It seemed simple enough. They'd worked on some cover stories on the way there. They would inquire about some industrial 'jobs' they wanted done. They wanted to check the capacity of the firm to see if they could meet the demand for the job.
"We're all armed." Kyle said. "We'll let the Terminators do their thing if there's a problem first before we need to start shooting."
Bob was a little concerned about collateral damage. They didn't know how involved either of the two firms was with Skynet. It could still be nothing.
"What about any other employees?" Bob asked.
Derek felt it was up to the actions and responses of the employees.
"If anyone seems to recognize you as a Terminator, we can assume they're from the future." Derek said. "It will probably be a 'bad thing' for them."
Kyle didn't want things to go south on the enemy's turf.
"It sounds like the last thing we need." Kyle said.
Jim looked around the parking lot. There wasn't much there.
"I don't see many cars at either place." Jim said.
Derek felt it was time to play the hand they were dealt.
"Let's see what shakes loose." Derek said.
The two teams each entered a building.
Allison neared the target location in the SUV.
Cam and Holly filled them in on all the details of the target.
Vanna and Allison wanted to do their part to help out. They wanted to make sure this wasn't a 'do nothing' assignment.
"Are you sure about this?" Vanna asked.
Cam knew they'd all listen to the same com traffic.
"You heard the updates from John Henry yourself." Cam said.
Allison knew they needed to play 'second fiddle'.
"We're here to assist you." Allison said.
Holly wanted to make sure the duty assignments were clear. It was a natural pairing anyway.
"Vanna is with Cam and Allison is with me." Holly said.
Cam gave Allison a few more directions to get to the location.
Allison pulled into a parking lot. She cut the corner too close and was about to scrape the gate post on her side unless she stopped or made a wider turn.
"Stop!" Cam said forcefully. "Watch the side, your side of the SUV."
Allison tromped on the brakes. They all locked up in the shoulder harnesses as they flew forward a couple of inches. She saw it more of an issue of bad planning and poor construction than anything of her doing.
"It's not my fault they put the pole right in the driveway." Allison said.
The pole was at the far side of the driveway.
She backed up and made a wider turn.
Allison ran up on the tire stop and rolled back down off of it.
Vanna shook her head in disgust.
"I'm driving home." Vanna said. "Or I'm walking."
Allison felt offended. She thought she'd done a good job of driving today. No one was injured or killed. It wasn't always the case. Cameron always told her to take off when they encountered some 'difficulties' when she'd taught her how to drive. People just needed to get their act together and learn how to skill drive.
Vanna wanted to move things along.
"Alright, let's lose the vests." Vanna said.
They quickly stowed all the gear. They would only take a Taser and M9 for each of them. Allison would carry her Model 66.
Cam and Holly both unbuttoned a couple more buttons on their tops. It would draw away the attention of everyone. No one would remember their faces.
Allison did the same thing.
Vanna was a little more reluctant to show the goods. She eventually popped a couple of buttons as well.
Allison looked at Vanna's top.
"You look really Hot." Allison said. "Look at those things."
Vanna looked down. She found it hard to believe how much larger she'd become.
"It seems like they keep getting bigger." Vanna said.
Cam was sure she knew what the driving force behind it was. It was because all of them.
Your body is trying to keep up with the demand being placed on it." Cam said.
Vanna wanted to put the credit, or blame, where it belonged.
"We can't blame Precious." Vanna said.
Allison giggled and Cam and Holly smiled. They all knew they were 'guilty' as charged.
"Nope." They all said.
Mary led Laura and Leticia inside the house. She turned off the alarm and looked around the room. She wondered if anything would be different. If it was, she didn't notice it.
Laura felt anxious.
"Do you think they'll really come?" Laura asked.
Mary reiterated her earlier thought.
"To tell you the truth, I expected to see them sitting inside waiting for us." Mary said. "It would be with the alarm still on and somehow they'd bypassed it."
The thought made Laura wonder. Maybe it was even better than them just being there.
"Maybe they're in our beds." Laura said.
The three girls hurried to their rooms to look.
They met back in the living room when they struck out.
Mary figured it was a matter of when, not if.
"Not this time." Mary said. "I bet it will happen. There's a lot going on with them behind the scenes."
Leticia wanted to remind them how well they were treated.
"They're the nicest people I've ever met." Leticia said. "Maybe they're 'secret agents' or something. I know they were always concerned with security."
Laura felt they had good reason to be, based upon what they knew.
"We know Peggy and Ann were in a rough place for awhile." Laura said.
Her reminder made Mary think about something else.
"Sometimes when I was with Ann in the dark, I couldn't find her scar." Mary said.
Laura knew exactly what she referred to.
"I noticed it too." Laura said. "We all know it was there."
They'd all seen it in broad daylight when they were in the nude sunbathing area.
Leticia remembered something 'Sue' referred to. It didn't sound like a very inviting place.
"Sue talked about the Wastelands." Leticia said. "She mentioned it more than once."
Mary was unable to place the reference. She wondered if it was some type of slang.
"I know Australia is referred to as Down Under. I don't know what the Wastelands are." Mary said. "Maybe it's the same as the Outback. People can have different terms for different areas."
Leticia didn't think so. It seemed like a place where people died.
"It sounds like a terrible place." Leticia said. "Maybe they were in the military."
Laura thought about how the girls always seemed on edge. They were always on the lookout for trouble. They'd actually prevented it for Leticia and her.
"Maybe they still are." Laura said.
Mary thought it was something deeper.
"I think what they do is secret or private now." Mary said. "They were very worried about being photographed."
Laura thought about the incident which occurred at the port. It wasn't long after they'd been off of the ship. It was something she'd wondered about at the time but hadn't mentioned it.
"We all saw the things that went down at the port after we left." Laura said. "Maybe it was them and they're terrorists."
Leticia was offended by Laura's statement. She didn't think 'Sue' was bad. She didn't think any of them were.
"Don't even joke about it." Leticia said. "If anything, they would've been the ones to kill the terrorists."
Mary was sure Leticia wore 'blinders'. Her feelings wouldn't allow her to see the reality.
"I think you're too much in love with Sue." Mary said.
Leticia wasn't ashamed of her feelings at all. She was very proud of them. Her feelings were real. She knew the feelings of the girls were real as well.
"Tell me you don't love all of them yourself now." Leticia said.
Laura thought about the private times with the girls. They were simply amazing. They were unlike any others she'd ever been with.
"I can say I've never seen anyone go non stop like they did most of the time." Laura said. "Only Peggy and Ann ever seemed to need to rest sometimes. The others could go non stop, like machines or something. Then again, they did say they worked out."
Leticia didn't like any jokes about the girls from the group. She didn't want to create a problem with Mary and Laura about it. She held her tongue.
Mary thought there was something else which was quite astounding. It still was every time she thought about it.
"What about all the sets of twins we saw?" Mary asked. "It was kind of different."
Was thrilled at the prospect of 'Sue's' twin sister.
"I really wanted to meet Sue's twin, especially in bed." Leticia said.
Mary remembered seeing her and her friend. They were both quite memorable.
"She was with a real hot number." Mary said. "They got off early."
Laura considered the possibilities. Who got off of a cruise ship halfway through the cruise?
"Maybe they needed to carry out a secret mission." Laura said.
Mary laughed.
Laura didn't say it as a joke.
"No, I'm serious." Laura said.
Mary thought about the real wild card. It didn't seem she'd arrived on the ship until they were about to leave San Francisco. Her arrival alone should raise more than a few questions. Who got on a cruise the day before it was over?
"What about Sue's other sister?" Mary asked. "She looked exactly like her, right down to the same moles. She was just younger."
Laura was highly infatuated with her.
"How old was she anyway?" Laura asked.
Leticia didn't think it mattered. Everyone was free to choose. There was plenty of sex to go around during her school years.
"Girls are old enough to make their own sexual decisions at an early age." Leticia said. "Stephany got popped by Tony on the ship."
Mary wondered exactly what was going on.
"Are you sure about it?" Mary asked.
Leticia didn't witness the act. She did witness something else though. It was a very concerned reaction by 'Sue'.
"Sue was worried to death about it." Leticia said. "She got a really bad nervous tick in her left hand. It worried me a little."
Laura was a little disappointed about what didn't happen. The girls seemed to have them all primed for it. It was what she wanted for herself as well.
"I really thought we were all going to get a session with Tony." Laura said.
Leticia really wanted to be with him. She knew why all of them were preempted.
"If Stephany hadn't shown up, we would have. I really wanted it." Leticia said. "I still do. I'm going to ask Sue about it today. I don't think any of us could have taken the spot of a virgin. We can now though. She's not a virgin anymore and we know a lot more than she does."
Mary had given up on men a few years back. They seldom delivered, and required a lot of maintenance.
"I would have given it a go too." Mary said. "You know I haven't been with a male for years."
Leticia was very appreciative of what Barbara indicated.
"Barbara was very sharing." Leticia said.
Mary thought they were all very sharing. She did remember how Barbara stood out among the other girls, even her twin sister.
"Barbara was a drop dead knockout." Mary said. "She looked like a Porcelain China Doll most of the time. Poor Peggy never could quite match her."
Leticia felt very anxious about the upcoming reunion. She wanted to make sure it happened.
"I wonder when they'll arrive." Leticia said. "Maybe I'll call."
Laura remembered what they were told about the phone number.
"I thought Sue said the number was for emergencies only." Laura said.
There was a knock at the door.
Leticia's face lit up.
"It's them!" Leticia said. "I knew they'd come."
Mary was pretty sure Leticia hit the nail on the head.
"I sure know we're all about to do so as well, many times." Mary said.
Laura could feel her body already responding.
"I can hardly wait." Laura said as the three girls all rushed for the door.
Leticia felt the excitement overpower the anxiety. It was a very strong feeling.
"I'm already about half way there." Leticia said.
The three girls were more than ready for the upcoming encounter.
CamNet's Terminator transferred the boxes and information into his SUV. He left the other vehicle behind and started out after the other two vehicles. The drone image indicated they were actually relatively close back to his previous location, the building with the booby traps inside of it.
The inside of the SUV was completely packed. There was everything Tina and Lena collected previously. Most of it was from inside the white van which the attacker blew up with an RPG.
CamNet's Terminator could see a confrontation was about ready to take place.
The driver of the van hopped out and brought his rifle with him. He moved up to the mouth of the alley behind the deli and waited. He peered around the corner. He could see the vehicle was almost up to the alleyway. It was there much quicker than he thought it would be.
He stepped out with his assault rifle and aimed it at the car. He lifted it to his shoulder and pulled the trigger. Nothing happened. He pulled the trigger again. Nothing happened. He reached up and pulled back the bolt. He'd forgotten to cock it. He let go of the bolt and it stripped the top round off the magazine. The car was right there. It was actually aimed at him now.
The driver of the van went to fire at the car, right as it struck him. The impact sent him flying. He landed up against the back of the deli. The car quickly passed him.
The attacker still didn't know how many people were in the van. He could see a deli on the corner of the intersection he approached. He'd picked up his speed a little. It seemed as if the van was about to pull a fast one.
He approached the intersection. He could see there was an alley behind the deli. He noticed someone peek around the corner. He fumbled around to get a weapon. He grabbed the rocket launcher instead. He didn't want it, he wanted his assault rifle. There wasn't enough time to act. He could see someone step around from the alley with a rifle. He didn't have time to do anything other than aim the car at them.
The car popped up on the curb and struck the man. He could see his body fly. He looked down the alley and saw the van parked there. He didn't know if there was anyone else inside of it. He watched the man impact against the rear wall of the deli. He quickly turned right at the street. He passed in front of the deli. He thought about turning into the parking lot. He was afraid there could be another ambush.
He passed by the entrance to the parking lot and continued down the street. He came around the block and pulled up to the alley. He could see the van parked at the other end of it. The man was still on the ground against the wall of the deli. He looked at the rocket launcher and the assault rifle. He quickly decided he would use the rocket launcher. He went to pick it up and fire it at the van. He began to hear what sounded like 'metal hail'.
The attacker watched his front windshield take a couple of bullet holes. The sound of the 'metal hail' continued. He figured someone was shooting at him. He didn't know from where. He quickly punched it and moved past the alley without firing the rocket. The metal impact noise against his vehicle stopped. He never saw who was shooting at him. He was sure there was more than one attacker.
They knew for sure what his vehicle looked like now. It was also damaged. He could see there was some front end damage on the right fender where he'd clipped the man who tried to ambush him. He could see the hood of his car was dented. It had a few holes in it. There were six holes in his windshield. They were all on the passenger side. He was glad none were on his side.
He thought about going around the block to make another run at the van. Someone shot at him so they were still in the game. He figured they used some type of silenced, or suppressed, weapon since he hadn't heard any gunfire. He didn't know if it was a good idea at this point. They might be waiting for him.
The attacker decided to go back to the building. He would fire another rocket at it. He needed to decide from where he was going to do it this time.
CamNet could see the confrontation about to occur between the man in the van and the attacker of his building. She decided to use a very curtailed gravity shot of 'metal hail'. It would be just enough to send a message.
She watched the attacker successfully knock down the driver of the van. She didn't see anyone else get out of it. She figured he would try to make another attack on the van. She was ready for him. As soon as he pulled around the corner, she had the drone overhead fire a short burst from its minigun. She'd anticipated he would stop at the entrance to the alley. He actually stopped a little short from where she thought he would be. It didn't matter. The rounds would still strike his vehicle. They were already on their way. She'd only wanted to hit the trunk. Instead she hit the hood and the windshield. The attacker quickly drove off.
CamNet decided to send her Terminator after the van. She wanted what was inside of it. So far the man hadn't moved who'd been hit by the car.
Lena and Tina would stay one mile in front of the Gray. So far the ride was very mundane and boring. They'd both watched the action a bit earlier. A little bit more occurred than they thought would happen. There was one man down and one on the run.
"Five to one says the attacker returns to the building." Lena said.
Tina tilted her head slightly.
"I think if anyone took it, it would be a sucker's bet." Tina said.
The drone over them made a wide sweep in front of them. It looked for anything where the man behind them might end up. So far it hadn't detected a solid target. The drone over the Gray dropped back some and passed by the crossroad junction.
"It appears trouble may be headed in our direction." Lena said.
Tina quickly checked the drone image.
"All I see are more targets." Tina said.
Lena and Tina quickly formulated a plan with CamNet. The drone which scouted in front of them, found a location they could use. They might be able to make the future a little safer going forward.
Jill lowered her head back down to the seat. She knew Jackie would look out for them.
"We've got trouble." Jackie said.
Jill lifted her head. She could hear the noise all around them. She recognized it for what it was. It was a group of motorcycles. It was a large group of them. It looked to her there could be at least fifty, maybe even a hundred.
Their car was stopped. She fumbled around for one of the weapons but couldn't find it. She reached for her pistol or her knife. She couldn't find those either. The rear door was pulled open. Someone grabbed her by her feet and pulled her out. She could see Jackie pulled through the window on her side. The bikers had them.
It seemed as many of the men punched her, as those who groped her. It wasn't long before her top was off. They shoved her roughly to the ground. Her pants were ripped off next. She tried to struggle, but there were too many of them. They held her down. She could see the bikers park their bikes and get into a line. She glanced over and could see Jackie was being held the same way. There was a line in front of her too.
Jill thought it was bad enough at the warehouse. What was about to happen now looked like it was going to be a lot worse. She wondered what kind of condition she was going to be in after fifty men were done abusing her. Wait. The men who would abused Jackie, would probably switch over and abuse her as well. It appeared as if a hundred men were about to take her. It seemed like her worst nightmare.
She realized she was screaming. She was a little surprised to see a female biker stand in front of her. She kicked her hard in the side. She bent down in front of her with a knife.
"If you scream again, I'll cut your tongue out." The female biker said. "If you continue to struggle, I'll cut something else off. Lay there and take it. You do whatever they tell you to do. If you don't, you know what happens."
Jill realized it wouldn't do any good to fight. It didn't do any good at the warehouse. It wasn't going to do any good there either. She didn't want to get cut up. Maybe they wouldn't kill her when they were done.
Maybe she would be lucky if they did. It would put an end to everything.
Jill felt the five men who were holding her release her. She looked at the female biker standing above her with the knife in her hand. She waved it around menacingly.
"I've done it before." The female baker said. "I'll do it to you too. Do whatever they want. If you make everyone happy, you just might come out of this alive with all of your body parts where they belong."
All of the motorcycles were turned off now. It was quiet. She looked over and saw Jackie laid they're on the ground as well. There were two female bikers standing over her. She was a little surprised when she saw one of the female bikers move down lower on Jackie and start in. The other one remove their pants and move towards Jackie's head.
The female biker looked at her with a smile on her face.
"That's what you're going to do for me right now." The female biker said. "I want you to do it like your life depends on it."
The female biker laughed. There were a lot of cheers and cat calls from the line in front of Jackie and her.
The female biker stood over her without her pants on.
"Remember, like your life depends on it." The female biker said as she laughed again. "Because it does, if you want to live."
Jill couldn't believe what was happening. It was like her worst nightmare.
They Can Look
To reach one's heart and mind
Search every cranny and nook
Many important things in one's life
Are easy to pass by and overlook
Each new day, month and year
Add another chapter to the book
Like a fine gourmet meal
Things take time to properly cook
To take more than is given
Makes one nothing more than a crook
It is worse to be a pawn
Than it is to be a rook
Send out the feelers
Lower down the hook
When the catch is made
It might turn into a donnybrook
Will one's eyes be opened
When their soul is shook
Open the gate up
So they can look
Nobody
