Chapter 1474

Additional Incentive

The two men were able to move the van out into the driveway. They wanted to see why it was leaking gasoline. They didn't want to have a fire, or explosion, due to the proximity of the water heater. They were afraid the pilot light might ignite the gasoline vapor.

The second man went underneath the rear of the van to take a look.

"I see the problem." The second man said. "Go get me a slot head screwdriver."

They briefly discussed the problem. It appeared the hose clamp loosened up over time as the hose shrank a little with age. It looked like it just popped off. Maybe they took a dip in the road a little too fast when they nabbed the 'skank' they'd picked up.

The first man thought about the possibilities which could have resulted if they hadn't discovered the problem.

"Dude, if we wouldn't have found the leak when we did, the entire gas tank would have emptied out onto the floor of the garage." The first man said.

The second man understood the implications. Twenty gallons of gasoline on the garage floor would have been catastrophic.

"I don't think it would have ended well when the gasoline fumes reached the water heater's pilot flame." The second man said.

The first man thought about the construction of buildings. It seemed like a common sense solution to him.

"It really makes you wonder why they put water heaters in the garage instead of a separate enclosure right outside the garage." The first man said. "I guess enough people haven't been killed for them to act on it."

The men worked on the van in the driveway while the Metal girls worked inside the house.

Gail carried the unconscious female out of the bedroom and set her on the kitchen floor. She waited there to listen for the men to return. Hanna found a small backpack and gathered the hard drives from the computers in the den. There were some file cabinets there too. She didn't see anything useful in them. She dumped the contents out on the floor.

"They're almost done outside." Gail said. "They're moving the van back into the garage now."

Hanna moved over to a bathroom near the front door and waited.

Gail and Hanna discussed what the punishment should be. This type of abuse against females was intolerable.

Sarah was glad to be with Claire again. They made the most of it.

They needed to rest a little now because they'd gone at it so wildly to begin with. Their hunger for each other was insatiable.

Claire thought about Sarah's response to her.

"I know you want to be with all the other girls now." Claire said. "I was the same way. I've never stopped. It's the most wonderful thing."

Claire was a little disappointed she wasn't still on the ship when the group became active with the three new girls. It really looked like a missed opportunity. The photos she'd viewed of them showed they were all beautiful.

Sarah didn't even have to think about what Claire said. It was what she felt all along. Being with some of the girls already only confirmed it. She didn't want to get carried away.

"I need to use a little restraint." Sarah said.

She really didn't know if she could.

Claire knew of an even better pleasure.

"Wait until you try a Metal girl. It's out of this world." Claire said.

Sarah wasn't so sure about it. She didn't want to overstep her bounds.

"Kyle said as long as it was a female, he was OK with it." Sarah said. "I'm not sure how a Terminator fits into the metric."

The clarification made Claire wonder. Usually there was always an underlying issue.

"I don't mean to be rude, but do you think Kyle wanted a three way out of it?" Claire asked.

Sarah did think about it. It would only be fair. What worried her was all the other females were younger than her. She knew age made a difference, especially to men. She was already older than Kyle by far. She thought she could satisfy him herself. Maybe she really did need a little help.

"I don't know." Sarah said. "I'd like to try it with another female one time, a 'three way' I mean. I only ever did it a few times in high school. We didn't really know what we were doing. I know a lot more now and how to finish more often."

Claire figured she better throw out some additional incentives.

"I can talk to Jesse. We can do a 'three way' ourselves. She's open to anything." Claire said. "Or I can set up a 'one on one' with Jesse. It might be better for the first time. You can really share with each other first."

It sounded good to Sarah. She didn't mention she was with Jesse, Young Jesse and 'Vanna', who was really Riley.

The sex was done for now.

Sarah and Claire were ready to share a little love. It was what they both wanted. Everything slowed down and went a little deeper.

Vanna drove the SUV. They were about to lead the vehicle following them into a trap. John Henry and CamNet sent Derek and Bob along with Kyle and Jim to reinforce them and deal with the problem.

Allison thought the girls could take care of things themselves.

"I think we can handle it." Allison said.

Holly and Vanna weren't having any of it. If there would soon be additional assistance available, they should use it. They didn't want to put Allison into a risky situation.

"No." Vanna and Holly both said.

Cam thought she could deal with the threat herself instead.

"I'll handle it." Cam said.

Vanna knew help was on the way. She didn't want Cam to go 'Cameron' on them. The 'challenge' made Cam revert to her base program which was Cameron's program. She saw during the briefing Cam went 'Cameron' during one operation and was shot. Her vest stopped the round. The stunt she'd pulled with the truck driver was pretty wild too. She needed to put a sedate lid on this before it got away from them.

"We just need to hang loose for a few minutes until the other two teams arrive." Vanna said.

Allison, Cam and Holly watched the vehicle following them on their phones from the drone footage.

They received a new message from John Henry they could have done without.

"It looks like there's an additional problem." John Henry said.

It seemed there always was to Allison.

"Beautiful." Allison said.

Moments ago:

"There's an additional problem." Summer said. "There's a van moving to intercept the girls."

Jan looked at the same information Summer did. She hadn't noticed anything.

"Where's it at?" Jan asked. "I can't keep up with all the screens changing so fast."

John Henry wondered where it was at too.

Summer explained what she saw in a series of traffic cams. The drone footage widened out as she did.

John Henry spotted the threat and confirmed the movements.

"I see it now." John Henry said. "It's still several miles out."

Jan still didn't see anything.

"How do you know where it's going?" Jan asked.

The answer seems obvious to Summer.

"It's an educated guess based on movement and direction." Summer said.

After another minute, it appeared Summer was correct.

Summer looked at Jan. She wanted to point out something else.

"Do you know what the van is for?" Summer asked.

Jan figured it could be used to transport things.

"It might have more bad people in it." Jan said.

Summer wanted Jan to think a little deeper.

"What else?" Summer asked. "Think of some past operations."

Jan remembered the one from the nude beach club. She liked to watch the surveillance footage from the location and see all the pretty girls there.

"They'll put the girls inside of it to take them away." Jan said. "If it was some 'regular girls', I think a lot of bad things would happen to them."

Summer felt she'd made her point.

"The two drones have both vehicles locked up." John Henry said.

Summer prompted Jan to speak. She wanted her to become a little more involved.

"Make sure everyone knows." Jan said.

Jan liked the feeling of assisting. She knew it was what her brother did all of the time. She actually wondered where he was at right now. She thought he should be there and be involved in the current operation under way. It was obvious the situation was only going to worsen and go hot. She wondered if she should go get him.

Summer looked over at Jan.

"He's busy right now." Summer whispered.

Jan swallowed hard. She hadn't said anything, yet Summer answered her question.

John Henry sent out the warning to the girls. He came across some additional information right after he did.

"It looks like there's an additional problem." John Henry said.

Cameron and Savannah sat side by side in the nose of the B-25 as Young Jesse and Camille piloted the aircraft. Anna was in the jump seat behind the pilots and Young Allison looked out of the top turret.

Anna motioned for Young Allison to join her.

Young Allison sat back down next to Anna and behind Camille so she could watch Young Jesse. She was an excellent pilot and seemed to know everything. It was obvious she was a 'seat of the pants' pilot as well.

It seemed to bother her because Cameron and Savannah were together. She didn't want it to bother her because she knew their future. She'd talked with Future Allison about everything. She understood it was a complicated arrangement even if it wasn't. As long as everyone remembered their place and understood everything, it shouldn't be a problem for anyone.

Anna got up and checked around them from the top turret. She soon rejoined Young Allison and sat next to her. She reached over and took her hand. They looked at each other and shared a faint smile. It was Young Jesse's day and Savannah wanted to be with Cameron. What they did was up to them. Based on the fact Cammy was sent on another assignment, it seemed the action taken said a lot too.

Young Allison saw Young Jesse check a map and change her heading some. It looked like they would cut inland around Pismo Beach or Morro Bay. Avila Beach was about half way between them as was the Serrano Point Nuclear Power Plant.

There were several airstrips they could land at around there. San Luis Obispo was one of the larger ones. The Mitchell didn't need a lot of runway to take off.

Anna noticed the map too. Camille directed Young Jesse where to fly. CamNet would clear the airspace for them and give them access to any restricted airspace if they wanted it.

Savannah sat next to Cameron and held her hand. She really thought about giving Cameron a kiss as they flew along. It would be a special kiss. She thought she might like a better and more secluded environment for their first real kiss.

It also crossed Savannah's mind to take Cameron into the rear fuselage of the Mitchell and put a partition up over the bomb bay crawlway. Cameron and her could share their first sexual experience there. It would be beautiful and unique in its own way. If Young Allison wasn't onboard, she would probably do it. She could tell Cameron really wanted to be with her because of all the sexual activity John was able to share.

It made her wonder if it wasn't all done just to justify what Cameron wanted to do. She knew sacrifice was the true test of love. It appeared Cameron was willing to sacrifice with others being with John, so she could be with her. She really didn't think it was necessary. She also understood it would put the other girls on the firing line if the anti-Metal faction came after John.

The noise level was very loud where they were at so they couldn't really talk on their own. They could use the headsets though. It wasn't the level of intimacy Savannah wanted.

Savannah rested her head against Cameron's shoulder.

Cameron wanted Savannah very much. She wanted her right there in the nose of the B-25. She could see Savannah wanted something more at a better location. Savannah knew what was best for them.

It pleased her greatly when Savannah placed her head on her shoulder.

Cameron remembered all the years she's been around Savannah. She'd literally watched her grow from a girl into a woman. They'd always shared a lot of physical contact, but it wasn't of a sexual nature. There was a level of closeness between them which wasn't shared with anyone else, not even John. Their relationship was mostly sexual.

She always liked the way Savannah looked at her with love in her eyes, and love in her heart. She knew it was love to die for. She needed to suppress a glitch impulse. She'd literally watched Savannah stay to die with her, or in her place, on more than one occasion. It really was love to die for. She didn't believe her existence was worth Savannah's life. Savannah told her she would never abandon her or send her away. Savannah never did.

It reminded her of something else. Savannah never gave up on her. Even when the others, slowly one by one, thought she'd been terminated, Savannah didn't. Savannah always told everyone she was eternal and invincible. She didn't think she was either. Savannah did, and it was good enough for her.

It made her feel guilty about some of the thoughts she'd pounded into Savannah's head since she was a girl. She wanted John protected and she knew Savannah would do it. There were other contenders now who could do the same thing. It didn't have to be Savannah or Young Allison any longer.

She was very pleased all of the girls were willing to step up now and take their place at John's side when it became necessary. They knew the risk was death at the hands of the anti-Metal group. She really didn't want to expose Savannah or Young Allison to another layer of danger other than what she presented herself.

Right now she could feel Savannah breathing and her heartbeat. It really gave her a feeling of comfort. Just to be close to Savannah and share like they always had done was very reassuring to her. It gave her a very peaceful feeling inside. She wondered if this was what it was like 'to get away from it all'.

John was pleased to be in Jesse's arms again. Right away he could tell things were different. She was much more aggressive right off the bat. It all started with a wild and hungry kiss. It seemed things escalated from there. He knew he was in for a wild ride.

There was a lot of sex there right now. The undertone for love would still creep back in. He could tell Jesse wanted to impress him, which she did. He could also tell she was the best in bed for sex right now. There was still a 'human' element Cameron lacked. With each of the girls he was with, he saw it was different. Young Jesse and Jesse were different, even if some things were identical. He needed to remember Jesse possessed a lot more experience at everything than Young Jesse did. It was clear there was no substitute for experience.

He liked how many times she could finish on her own as they switched places several times. Any position he picked, she could finish in. She knew his limitations. When it was time for him to finish, she wanted him on top. He did. At that point, everything changed. Her arms and legs wrapped around him and held him tight.

It was when the kiss changed to a kiss of love. He didn't know it, and neither did Jesse, but it was her inner 'mating instinct' to reproduce. Neither of them knew she was pregnant.

It would take him at least fifteen minutes before he could go again. Jesse filled the time with loving touches and kisses. Things were back to how they were on the first time they'd shared.

It really made him hate Skynet and everyone who'd abused her. There was really a special woman inside her. Maybe because of her greater experience, it was a better time than what he'd shared with Young Jesse and he really liked it a lot. He got what he wanted from Young Jesse. He'd been able to claim her virginity. He hoped to be with her again so he could teach her some of the things he'd learned from Jesse. It was a roundabout full circle of events.

John was very content to be lost in Jesse's loving.

The two men reconnected the short hose from the fuel tank to the fuel line. They made sure it was securely fastened.

"I think that's it." The second man said.

The first man wanted to make sure.

"I'm going to start it." The first man said. "You can make sure there aren't any leaks."

The second man didn't really like being underneath a running vehicle.

"Just make sure it stays in 'Park' until I'm out from underneath it." The second man said. "You should set the parking brake while you're at it."

The first man didn't think it was a big deal. It wasn't like he was going to run over him or anything. They were going to have one body to get rid of soon enough. He didn't want there to be two of them. It would just be more work for him.

The second man checked the fuel line once the van was started. He gently tugged on it a few times. It was solid. He slid out from underneath the back of the van.

"Go ahead and park it." The second man said.

The first man drove the van back into the garage. The second man closed the door once he did. He returned the screwdriver to the toolkit.

Gail and Hanna waited.

The men reentered the house. They laughed and joked as they talked about what they were going to do to the 'skank' they'd 'picked up'.

The first man was surprised as Hanna stepped out in front of him. She immediately grabbed him by the neck and lifted him up from the ground.

The second man turned to run but Gail stood in his path. She did the same thing to him. She grabbed him and lifted him off the ground by his neck too.

The second man was the one targeted for termination.

Hanna thought about some of the things done to Vanna. She was sure her eyes glowed red. She wanted some justice.

"Remember what we want to do." Hanna said. "There needs to be a reckoning."

Both of the Metal girls choked the men out.

Gail checked on the female on the floor of the kitchen. She was still out. It didn't look like she'd be going anywhere soon on her own.

They carried both of the men into the bedroom which contained the bed with the ropes and chains.

They proceeded to position them in a manner most fitting to their humiliation. They were securely tied together so they couldn't pull their heads away from where they'd been positioned. The sheets from the other beds were torn into strips to securely bind the men together like a two person mummy.

They were both conscious at this point.

Gail went and checked on the female. She'd started to move a little. She went out to the garage and returned with two one gallon cans of gasoline and twenty-four by thirty-six inch drip pan. She found it up against a wall. It was probably from an older vehicle they no longer owned.

She placed the drip pan under the bed and filled it with a gallon of gasoline. She poured most the other gallon of gasoline over the tightly wrapped figures. They squirmed and struggled more as she did so. They could smell the liquid as well as feel it.

Neither man was able to speak because of how they were positioned and tightly bound there.

Hanna went to the central heating unit and snapped the gas line. Natural gas began to pour out unrestricted. Gail did the same thing with the oven. More natural gas began to flood the kitchen. Hanna moved to the fireplace and did the same thing there. She closed the flue as well.

Gail picked up the barely moving female. She took her into the garage and placed her in the back of the van. Hanna placed the box of hard drives and papers in the back of the van as well. She then hit the garage door disconnect and lifted the door manually. Gail used the keys she'd taken from the first man and started the van and backed it out of the garage. Hanna went to the water heater and ripped the gas line loose as well. The door into the house from the garage was wide open. She pulled down the garage door and got in the van. Gail opened the gate remotely and they drove out and closed the gate behind them.

The microwave was set to turn on in thirty minutes. There was a metal pan filled with the rest of the gasoline from the second can. There was some paper loosely wadded up in there, along with some tinfoil. It should start to spark and catch the paper inside on fire and ignite the gasoline vapor. If the sparking didn't do it, the burning paper and gasoline should. With the natural gas explosion, and the resulting fire on the gasoline soaked figures, the men should suffer a horrific death.

CamNet would suppress all 911 traffic or redirect it until the house burnt to the ground.

"Justice has been served." Hanna said.

Gail thought it would be 'well done' in this instance.

"Payback is a Bitch." Gail said.

Gail let Hanna out at their SUV.

Hanna got in and both vehicles drove away.

Gail parked the van with the female in the back next to a medical clinic. She stuffed a wad of cash into her pocket and left the van side door open all the way. She saw the female open her eyes and look around as she raised herself up on one elbow.

"You're safe now." Gail said.

Hanna carried the box of items she'd appropriated from the men. She took it to the row SUV. She got behind the wheel and started it.

Gail got in the SUV with Hanna and they drove away.

The girl could seek medical attention if she wanted it.

John Henry filled them in on the action developing with the other teams. He sent them to a spot where the girls were headed. They would get there first.

Hanna was thoroughly disgusted with what the nature of the potential attack on the girls was.

"Why do people think females should be treated like garbage or sex objects?" Hanna asked.

Gail wanted the new group of perpetrators to be punished in the same fashion the ones they left behind would be. She wanted those responsible to atone for their crimes.

"It sounds like another reckoning is in order." Gail said.

Hanna nodded.

Derek and Bob, along with Kyle and Jim, closed in on Cam's team.

"I see the van." Bob said.

Derek drove the SUV.

"Is it still just the two vehicles?" Derek asked.

John Henry was on the com with them.

"It's all we've identified." John Henry said.

Kyle wanted to make sure the vehicles didn't try to lose them.

"Let's stay with them." Kyle said.

Derek and Bob set up a plan with Kyle and Jim. They would separate the van from the car. Bob and Jim would deal with the occupants.

Vanna was given instructions by Cam where and when to turn. She was given instructions where Derek's team and Kyle's teams would be. It sounded good to her.

John Henry reported the van was painted for a florist shop not far from where the front for the 'Bottomless Maids' was located. He informed them Gail and Hanna were on their way to their location to assist them. One of the two drones with them was already there. There was a second van parked in back of the establishment.

Vanna followed Cam's instructions and turned between two buildings. They spotted the two concealed SUVs of Derek and Kyle.

"Punch it." Cam said.

Vanna floored it. The SUV shot forward. She braked hard for the next turn. The car sped up to follow them. When they made the next turn, the van was left behind. It was stopped by the other two SUVs.

The action was about to unfold fast.

Vanna made one more aggressive turn.

The car was about to make the turn to follow the SUV they were after. There was a loud metallic thud and the car died. It was only coasting but they still made the turn. There was another SUV sitting right there. The driver slammed on the brakes to avoid hitting it. The driver's door on the SUV opened.

Cam and Holly exited the SUV.

The car was dead and wouldn't even turn over.

"That's just great. First our phones stop working and now the car is dead." The first man said. "We need to deal with these sluts."

The second man looked around in back of them.

"The van should be here any minute." The second man said.

The first man tried to start the car again. Nothing happened.

"Who knew it was going to be this big of a hassle to nab a few 'bimbos'." The first man said.

Both side doors were pulled open on the car.

"The 'bimbos' did." Cam said.

Holly and Cam each grabbed a man and drug him out of the car.

Hanna covered them with an M4. It packed an M203. She'd fired one of the 'sticky shocker' rounds, developed for the HK equipment, at it earlier. It worked just as well on an auto.

Riley went and washed her hands. She needed to wipe herself down some as well. She'd really been going at it.

Samantha was a little upset at what she'd thought Riley must have done with John.

When Riley returned she handed Precious to her.

"You can watch Precious for now." Samantha said. "I need to run a few errands."

Riley wondered what it was all about.

Samantha left the room and went out into the hall. She went the back way. None of the girls were in their rooms. She continued along the far side and passed the lab. It was unoccupied.

She continued around the far side and ended up in front of Claire's room. It sounded like there were two people in there. She thought it was Claire and Jesse. She listened a little longer and determined it was Sarah. The door was closed so she didn't enter. They were only talking. There was no indication as to anything else happening in there.

She knocked softly.

The room went quiet inside.

The door opened six inches a little later.

Claire wore a bathrobe.

"Jesse already left." Claire said.

Samantha wanted it to be known and she was ready for more.

"I was just checking." Samantha said. "I needed to run a few errands. I have a little time to kill."

Samantha wanted Claire to invite her in. It didn't look like it was going to happen. She didn't know the full extent of what was really going on in the room.

The attacker would be the bearer of bad news. He entered the building and found there were several weapons pointed at him.

"Take it easy." The attacker said.

The first man pointed an M16 at him.

"Where is everyone?" The first man asked.

The second man pointed a shotgun at him.

"We lost communications with everybody right after you launched the attack on the building." The second man said.

The attacker wasn't ready for the third degree. He reassured the other men he was who he said he was. They lowered their firearms. He went on to tell them the story about what happened at the first location and then what happened later on with the man in the van and at the second location.

"You should have stuck around longer to see what happened." The first man said.

The attacker was a little indignant.

"There's nothing stopping you from going back right now." The attacker said. "One of the grenades exploded inside of the building. I'm pretty sure we have their attention."

The second man didn't want any trouble.

"He carried out the second attack on his own." The second man said. "He attacked the same location twice. The first location sounds like it's totally destroyed."

The three men were joined by two others. They discussed what they wanted to do next. They wanted revenge for what happened to the rest of their group. It was decided they would carry out another strike.

CamNet's Terminator moved to within a few blocks of the location. The drone over the building, as well as the drone over him, kept him updated to what was happening around him.

He was aware of the other activity going on with several different groups from the Resistance. He inquired about rendering assistance. He was told everything was covered for now.

CamNet's Terminator needed to wait for something to develop. He was informed someone would switch out the SUV he currently drove and pick up the van loaded full of Skynet related information.

Lena and Tina contacted CamNet about their proposal. They wanted to lure the biker gang down one of the dirt roads and deal with them in an isolated area. With drone support, they would be able to decimate the group in a matter of seconds.

CamNet instructed them to continue on with their current operation. If it was deemed it was necessary to deal with the bikers in an isolated area, there were plenty of other locations along the route they were currently on.

Lena and Tina continued along their current path. They stayed one mile ahead of the Gray. The drone over them and the Gray searched for any additional threats.

The female Fanatic was a little worried how the events might play out. They possessed enough firepower to make a difference. It would be most useful if they acted first.

"If things go hot, there's going to be a lot of dead people." The female Fanatic said.

Jill didn't want to overreact, or act too soon. What if they were just going from point A to point B? Maybe not all of them were bad.

"There's no way for us to know which one of the biker gangs they belong to." Jill said. "I understand they're all bad by nature."

The female Fanatic was familiar with a half a dozen biker groups.

"If they're from the 'Sons Of Chaos', or 'Satan's Angels', they'll most likely try something." The female Fanatic said.

Jill figured by the time they found out, it would probably be too late.

"I'll leave it up to you to decide." Jill said. "I'll follow your lead."

The female Fanatic hoped they wouldn't catch up to them before they found out where the Gray was headed. She didn't want to lose sight of her original mission.

"We need to find where the other trucks are at." The female Fanatic said. "We'll fight if we have to."

Jill couldn't help but think about her dream. She also wanted to get vengeance on the two remaining truck drivers who'd abused her.

"Let's take care of business for SkyMaster first if we can." Jill said. "We have a more important job to take care of, as long as we're not threatened elsewhere."

The female Fanatic was very pleased to hear Jill's reference to SkyMaster. She would remain in the back with the weapons for now. Their goal was in front of them, not behind them.

Cameron and Young Allison headed for the doorway of the warehouse. They were both still naked.

Young Allison was aware of some of the difficulties Savannah experienced on her time travels. She was just glad they were in an inhabited place and not too far off the time they'd shot for.

Cameron paused.

"I hear two men talking." Cameron whispered.

Young Allison look down at herself in the dull lighting.

"We need to get some clothes." Young Allison whispered.

Cameron already decided she would terminate anyone who looked at Young Allison naked.

The men were close enough where they could hear them speak clearly.

"I told them it was 'curtain rods'." The first man said.

They could hear both men laugh.

"You go get set up on the sixth floor." The second man said. "We'll do everything just like we said. We've got an hour to get ready. I'm going to head to the grassy knoll now."

Young Allison wasn't sure what the men were talking about. There were a few familiar statements she'd just heard.

Cameron could hear the men separate. She spotted a crate marked as janitor's apparel. They wouldn't win any fashion contest, but they would be covered. She didn't want Young Allison to be caught naked by anyone. If they were, she would terminate them.

"I found some clothing." Cameron whispered.

Young Allison looked back in the direction where they'd heard the voices. They were quiet now.

"Open it up so we can put something on." Young Alison whispered.

Cameron pulled up on the lid of the crate. Several of the nails made a 'squeaking' noise as the lid came off. She reached inside the crate. She pulled out several paper wrapped bundles.

There was a packet of shirts, and a packet of pants, both marked with smaller sizes.

A light shined on them.

"Hey, what are you doing here?" The second man asked. "How long have you been here?"

It took him a second to realize it was two females and both of them were completely nude. They looked like twins.

Cameron saw the man held a flashlight in one hand and a revolver in the other. Both of them were pointed at them. She could see he was surprised by their current appearance.

She was concerned for Young Allison. She moved in front of Young Allison and reached for the man. He went to raise the pistol. It was clear he was going to shoot. She was able to grab the hand with the revolver in it. She punched him hard in the chest at the same time. The flashlight clattered to the floor and broke. She carefully lowered the body to the ground.

Young Allison hadn't expected to be involved with someone's death in the first ten minutes of being wherever they were at.

"Are you OK, Cameron?" Young Allison whispered. "Where's the other man?"

Cameron thought she'd heard both of them leave earlier. The one man must have returned when he heard the 'screech' of the nails on the crate lid.

"I think he's gone." Cameron whispered. "Let's get dressed and get out of here."

They quickly put on the janitor's clothing.

Cameron went through the pockets of the man she'd hit. He carried some cash and nothing else other than a set of car keys. She looked at the watch he wore. It was 11:55.

Young Allison could see Cameron was about to head for the door.

"What about this guy?" Young Allison asked.

Cameron was going to leave him where he was. She wanted to see if there was a car parked outside of the door.

"Let's just go." Cameron said.

Young Allison thought about the discussion they'd heard earlier.

"We need to know the date." Young Allison said.

Cameron tilted her head slightly.

"We will find out soon enough." Cameron said. "Let's go."

They exited the gloom of the building into the bright sunshine of noon time. There was an old Chevrolet parked right outside the door. The keys Cameron held were for Chevrolet.

"I think this is his car." Cameron said.

Young Allison looked back at the door to the warehouse. She didn't like loose ends.

"Maybe we should put him in the trunk." Young Allison said. "He won't be found as quickly."

Cameron tried the keys. One of them opened the trunk. There was a guitar case inside.

Young Allison reached inside and took it out. There was plenty of room in the trunk now.

"Put it in the back seat. I'll go get the stiff." Cameron said.

Young Allison watched Cameron hurry back into the building. She carried the guitar case to the rear door. She expected it to be locked, it wasn't. She opened the door and set the case down. The case made a loud clunk. She picked it up and shook it a few times. It was heavier than most guitars she'd ever handled. It sounded like there was a lot of loose space inside of it.

She looked back in the direction Cameron went. She opened the guitar case and was a little surprised to see a rifle with a scope on it. There was a box of cartridges inside with it. She looked around again and quickly closed the case. She could see a newspaper on the seat in the front. She picked it up and looked at it. The date was November 22 1963.

It all made sense to Young Allison right now. Everything she just heard all clicked. They were things she'd looked into herself and seen TV shows about before. It was actually one of the things she thought about going to see, just to be a witness.

She could feel the 'goose bumps' on her skin. Her mouth was suddenly dry.

She heard the door from the warehouse open.

Cameron came out with the man's body.

"He's still alive." Cameron said.

She dumped him in the trunk and closed the lid. She took one look around. She looked at Young Allison. She could tell something was wrong.

"What is it?" Cameron asked. "What happened?"

Cameron started to move towards the driver's door.

Young Allison stopped her. She wanted to let Cameron know what she suspected.

"You said we needed to be careful who we interacted with." Young Allison said. "You said we could change the course of history with our actions."

Cameron tilted her head slightly.

"We need to be careful." Cameron said she looked towards the trunk. "I think he was some low level street hood."

Young Allison held the paper up for Cameron to look at. She immediately recognized the date. She looked at the wrist watch from the man she'd killed. She currently wore it. It was now 12:01 PM.

"Look at this." Young Allison said.

She opened the lid on the guitar case.

Cameron immediately spotted the high-powered rifle. She checked the action. The weapon was loaded. She looked back towards the warehouse. She remembered the men's earlier conversation.

Young Allison could see Cameron put everything together the same way she had.

"I think we just changed history." Young Allison said. "Everyone knows the sniper from the book depository only hit the governor. Well, him and the window frame of the convertible."

Cameron was aware there was much speculation as to what actually occurred on that fateful day.

"The initial reports indicated there was more than one sniper." Cameron said. "Most people believe there were two, if not three, of them based upon the direction of the bullet wounds. An open microphone on a police motorcycle captured what clearly sounded like four shots. Based on the loudness of two of them, there may have actually been five shots. The lone gunmen fired three rounds on a rifle with a loose scope. This is a precision rifle here. It could blow someone's head clean off."

Young Allison heard where the man said he was headed. She knew it was one of the locations of a reported sniper. They were photographs of a number of individuals pointing in the direction of the grassy knoll immediately after the incident.

"We need to get to the grassy knoll." Young Allison said.

Cameron looked at the rifle.

Young Allison didn't want her timeline changed. It meant they were going to need a precision sniper to complete the mission they'd interrupted.

"You know what you need to do so history isn't changed." Young Allison said.

Cameron realized what she'd done.

"I have to kill the president of the United States." Cameron said. "The man we just rendered unconscious is the one who delivered the head shot."

Cameron and Young Allison exchanged grim glances as they got into the Chevrolet.
