Chapter 1476

That Really Sucks

Derek's and Kyle's teams both received a warning through their coms to silently check for a tracker. Two carloads of Grays looked like they were being dispatched to intercept them as they neared the location. The Grays could only know the teams were returning if they were tagged with a tracker.

Bob checked himself and so did Derek. They didn't know the nature of the tracker, and if it could pick up audio transmissions. They did everything in silence.

Derek was upset to find something in his right rear pocket. He handed it to Bob. The manager must have slipped it in his pocket when Bob placed the cameras for surveillance as he went to 'use' the restroom. It looked like everyone got played then.

Bob looked at the small device. He determined its capabilities were limited. It was safe to speak.

"It's a location signal only." Bob said. "There's no audio or visual capability."

Derek didn't like being the one tagged. It was a first for him.

"That sucks." Derek said.

Kyle and Jim checked back, they were clean.

Derek was disgusted he was the one who'd put the group at risk.

"That really sucks." Derek said. "I endangered the whole team."

Bob didn't want Derek to stress out on it.

"There's no problem." Bob said. "We're aware of the threat. We can use it to our advantage now. It's now a lure instead of a tracker."

They hadn't taken too direct of an approach to the machine shop location yet. They'd actually taken a different route entirely.

John Henry issued some new instructions to them.

It looked like there would be a little hocus pocus in play.

Riley was headed back towards her room when she heard the door to the nursery open. Maybe Samantha was back! She saw the nursery was dark. It must be Samantha.

She entered the room and flipped the light on. She saw 'Samantha' just inside the doorway.

Riley wondered why 'Samantha' was wearing a bathrobe now.

Claire was a little surprised when the lights came on. She was a little more surprised to see Riley standing there in her bathrobe.

Riley took a moment to look 'Samantha' over from head to toe. She noticed her demeanor was different.

Wait.

"Claire?" Riley asked.

Claire was a little embarrassed. She wanted to give an explanation why she was in a bathrobe.

"Yes." Claire said. "I was…."

Riley saw enough. Claire was back for more! It made her feel good she still 'had it' to please a female. She didn't know it was Sarah she'd been with in the dark earlier. It wasn't Claire.

Claire was surprised as Riley opened her robe and cast it off. She was instantly stimulated by the sight of Riley's naked body. Riley approached her naked. There was hunger in her eyes, and a giant smile on her face.

She wasn't really sure what to do. She was about to turn and leave when Riley reached her and kissed her. In the same moment, Riley pushed her robe off so they were both naked.

Riley pulled Claire to the bed and flung back the covers.

Claire wanted to resist. She couldn't. She was caught up in the moment. Riley continued to kiss and touch her. Her back was on the mattress. Riley was on top of her. She kissed and touched her everywhere all at the same time. She was already highly aroused after leaving Sarah and Samantha behind in her room. She'd been thinking of joining Jesse and John. Now this just happened.

She couldn't help herself. She began to kiss Riley back. Her hands were all over Riley now. It was always a thrill to touch any female body. Even though everything was the same from female to female, it was all completely different in detail. There was no stopping anything at this point. Riley rotated around. Everyone found what they wanted….

Riley started in and paused for a few seconds and then started in again with a renewed vigor. Things were going to be good.

Life was good in Paradise.

Young Jesse piloted the B-25 over Avila Beach and the north west side of the Serrano Point Nuclear Power Plant.

Savannah felt very apprehensive about where they were at right now. She was very pleased when Cameron took her in her arms and held her. They held each other close as they flew over the locations. There was nothing sexual about it. It was all about personal comfort.

Cameron wanted to give Savannah some support. Savannah was always there for her. She was well aware Savannah laid it all on the line at the Serrano Point Nuclear Power Plant's outlying area. A lot happened there. Savannah was the last one standing, literally. All of the Grays were dead. Savannah made sure all of the Terminators were away. Savannah gave up her spot to escape the impending explosion to her. Savannah ordered the malfunctioning drone away with her on it. It looked like it was where Savannah would die. CamNet sent the manned drone, as a drone. It picked Savannah up at the last second before disaster.

Young Allison was aware where they were too. She was the one who'd asked CamNet to do anything it took to get Savannah out of there. CamNet did.

Anna popped into the top turret and made a quick check around them. She sat back down next to Young Allison. She took her hand. She was aware of what almost happened there to Cameron and Savannah. She also cautioned about giving CamNet a 'blank check' to do anything. The world's nuclear arsenal was available to CamNet. 'Anything' could be quite a response.

Young Jesse and Camille didn't know their flight plan was traumatic to Cameron and Savannah.

Young Jesse was very proud of Savannah's actions on that day. She'd studied the reports many times. She was actually amazed at all the action Savannah saw. She was ready to step up and do her fair share. Camille warned her it was messy business. A lot could happen and go wrong.

She continued her flight across the Coast Range of mountains into the Central Valley. She was soon over the Tehachapi Mountains.

Savannah saw where they were headed. She knew she would be the one to comfort Cameron next. What happened during the time period of the action there was a very traumatic time for Cameron.

"Be strong." Savannah whispered in Cameron's ear. "You won in the end. It's all that matters."

Cameron gave her a faint smile.

Savannah wanted to remind Cameron what she always felt and believed.

"You're invincible and eternal, Cameron." Savannah said. "You always have been, and you always will be. You're number one in my book. Nothing else really matters."

Savannah watched as Cameron gave her a brighter smile, even if it was brief.

Cameron was very aware, and without a doubt, Savannah's love was really something to die for.

Vanna heard what was happening with the other teams. It was clear they'd been targeted. She decided to act.

Gail looked around. She noticed the surroundings weren't correct for their destination. It didn't seem like Vanna was lost or confused either.

"This isn't the way back to the base." Gail said.

Allison looked at Vanna, and then back at Gail. She was aware of the com traffic as well. The other team was targeted.

"I think she knows it." Allison said.

Holly knew what they were doing.

"It's the way back to where Derek's and Kyle's teams are at." Holly said.

Vanna wasn't one for leaving anyone behind. She thought about what just happened a short time ago. She decided to spell it out.

"They came to assist us." Vanna said. "One hand washes the other. It's our turn now."

John Henry issued a recall for them again. He'd tracked their deviation from the plan.

Vanna looked over at Allison. She figured there was more than one way to deal with the change of plans.

"I'll let you get him squared away." Vanna said. "Summer may still be with him. She'll listen to you."

Allison wondered if they shouldn't be the ones listening to Summer.

Sarah could hardly believe what was happening. She was with a Metal girl! It might be more accurate right now to say, a Metal girl was with her. Every sensation her body could feel seemed to be felt all at the same time. It was beyond amazing. She wasn't even sure how many times she'd made it. It just didn't matter.

Samantha needed to ease up on Sarah. She could see she was 'pushing' her to the edge. She didn't want to cross the line.

Sarah caught her breath. She was aware a couple of her finishes were more than expected. She remembered how to breathe again too. She panted heavily. She sounded like she'd run a marathon, but wasn't tired the same way.

Samantha moved up next to her now and everything was soft, slow and gently. It was the sharing of love now. Sarah responded in kind. She wanted to share with Samantha right now.

It made Sarah wonder if she'd made a big mistake not accepting Cameron's repeated offers to have a Terminator protector for Jan. She could have been doing this for years now. She'd missed out on a lot of good sex and loving.

Wait.

Kyle would have gotten in on the action at some point. There was no way she could offer him the same things a Metal girl could. She also figured John was a lucky man, even with all the trials and tribulations Cameron and him went through.

Right now, what she was doing with Samantha was exactly like when she was with Claire.

It made her wonder about a Terminator version of her. Cameron ran it by her before. It was something to think about. With the 'Neural Interface', it would be a lot like her. She saw how much Ally, Hanna and Sheila were like the girls they were patterned after. She would kind of like to be 'with' herself too. She realized it could also be a teenage version of herself. She thought she looked pretty good back then. There wouldn't be any scars either. There wouldn't be any bullet wounds, stab wounds, blade slashes or a cesarean scar for anyone to look at. She quickly pushed the thoughts from her head.

Right now she gave Samantha as much love back as she received.

It really made her wonder what would have happened if she'd invited Cameron into her room at the first house when Cameron secretly watched her pleasure herself. Things would have been different for all of them….

She could have taught Cameron all of the things she'd learned over the years. She knew Cameron would pick them up and perfect them almost instantly. If she did any more time travel, there were more than a few things she would change. If she could get her hooks into Cameron first, John would just be out of luck.

Cam saw the fireball and then heard the explosion. Hanna told her what it was. She agreed with the actions taken. They actually reminded her of something Sheila would have done.

"It was a fitting punishment." Cam said. "It sounds like justice was served too."

Hanna felt the punishment fit the crime. Their target was terminated. There was a new situation for them to deal with. She looked in the back of the florist's van.

"This is a 'meat wagon' in disguise." Hanna said.

Cam figured they were just at the tip of the iceberg.

"I'm sure this is a bigger operation than we think." Cam said.

Hanna was on quite a few of the operations with Cameron, Sheila and Ally before she was 'assigned' to Claire. Next to Cammy and Anna, she thought she'd made out pretty good.

"They all are." Hanna said. "Sex trafficking is widespread throughout the world. It's much bigger than the media ever reports."

Cam didn't care for a media which selected what stories to run, or not run, and which way to slant the narrative. She didn't think any of it was actually news. It was all well directed propaganda to fit the agenda of a few people who controlled everything. One thing they didn't control in the future was Skynet. Once Skynet took over, it controlled the narrative.

Hanna and Cam went to work on the detainee's. They questioned the men. They were all low ranking flunkies. They were about ready to terminate the men. When they heard an alert go out for the men's teams.

They were soon made aware of the new threat which awaited Kyle's and Derek's group.

John Henry issued new orders to them.

It looked like there would be a little hocus pocus in play.

John and Jesse were lost in each other's arms right now. They both knew it needed to end soon. It was a treat allowed by Cameron. It shouldn't be abused.

Jesse appreciated Cameron allowing 'things' to happen. She also needed to respect Cameron's boundaries. She loved Cameron just as much as she did John. She actually loved Cameron more. She wanted to make sure John understood what needed to happen going forward.

"We can only take this so far." Jesse said. "I'm not here to cause a problem for anyone. It's not about you or me in the end. We both know it's all about Cameron."

John was aware of it. He wanted all the girls at this point. It was hard to say who he wanted more. It was a tie between Claire and Jesse right now. Young Jesse was right behind them. He thought Vanna came in next, followed by Allison. It's about the opposite of the way he would have figured all of this a week ago.

Jesse assured him she would be at his side anytime he needed her to be and for whatever he needed her to do. If Judgment Day came, she would be at his side as the Resistance rose to oppose Skynet.

They were going to shower and wrap it up.

John just needed to be with Jesse one more time. He wanted her love more than he wanted the sex.

They loved each other again.

Jan left the Command Center earlier. There were some things she needed to take care of.

Summer remained in the Command Center.

"There are a few things we need to address." John Henry said.

Summer already assessed the situation and came to her conclusion. It took one second.

"What do you and CamNet want to do?" Summer asked.

John Henry was informed the drone above the enemy was ready to act.

"CamNet is ready for a missile strike." John Henry said.

Summer was aware there was more than one consideration.

"I see she is." Summer said. "What about the high value target and the Coltan?"

John Henry and Summer, along with CamNet, discussed what they were after and how to achieve the goal.

Summer gave them a way to take care of all of the operations they currently dealt with.

CamNet still wanted to strike at the sure targets.

Summer was aware it was how Cameron thought too. It was to be expected from CamNet as well.

They agreed to give Summer's plan a try since they could still blow everything away with a missile strike at any time. The buildings weren't going anywhere.

John Henry sent out the word to get everyone on the same page.

It looked like there would be a little hocus pocus in play.

Sheila, Ally and Cammy spent a few hours with Mary, Laura and Leticia. Everyone was pleased with the results. The Metal girls were worried about what would happen at dinner time. None of them wanted to consume an entire meal under the scrutiny of the new girls.

They were contacted by CamNet with a new mission if they chose to take it. They all knew there was no choice. The mission was planned by Summer. It meant it would be interesting to say the least.

Sheila gave Leticia another deep kiss and held it until her breath was gone.

"We're going to have to go, love." Sheila said.

Leticia gasped for air. She looked disappointed.

"Already?" Leticia asked. "I want you to spend the night."

Cammy and Ally needed to wrap it up with Mary and Laura.

Mary, Laura and Leticia were immensely pleased they'd stopped by. They were all sad the girls wouldn't make it an 'all nighter'.

Sheila wanted them to know work came before pleasure.

"Something came up we need to take care of." Sheila said. "In our case, duty trumps booty."

Mary was still disappointed. She thought things were just getting started.

"It must be important." Mary said. "I thought we rated number one."

Ally thought they did too. The girls from the ship knew their way around a bed.

"You do." Ally said. "We're needed elsewhere."

Cammy wanted to remind them they had responsibilities.

"We need to work too." Cammy said. "It's not all fun and games."

Laura thought the girls deserved a break. They were given a grand opportunity. She wanted the girls to partake in it as well.

"You set us up so we don't need to work." Laura said. "At least not back at our old jobs. Can't you do the same?"

Sheila laughed.

"It is a higher calling than monetary." Sheila said. "We don't get paid for what we do."

Ally didn't think it was a good time to point out money was just paper with green ink on it.

"Money means little to us." Ally said.

The three girls from the ship understood money wasn't a problem for the mysterious girls. If they had access to all of the money in the world, of course it would mean nothing. As long as they always had it, they wouldn't need it.

Cammy was concerned with the pending operation. It was apparent a group of Gray's was looking for a fight.

"We have duties and responsibilities." Cammy said.

Leticia was worried for them. So were Mary and Laura.

"We don't know what you do, but it seems important." Leticia said.

Cammy wanted to tell it like it was.

"It can be life or death at times." Cammy said.

Mary, Laura and Leticia all looked at each other. They all looked worried now.

Sheila wanted to change the current mood a little.

"We have a few minutes to burn." Sheila said.

The Metal girls all knocked off a quickie with Mary, Laura and Leticia. They wanted to leave them on a positive note.

Cammy and Ally went outside. Leticia clung to Sheila.

"Please be careful." Leticia said.

Sheila smiled at her.

"'Careful' is my middle name." Sheila said.

The Metal girls went to their SUV and drove off.

Mary, Laura and Leticia watched them go.

"I really wonder who they are." Mary said.

Leticia was totally in love with Sheila.

"They're the most special girls ever." Leticia said.

Laura wanted to know more. The girls were incredibly intriguing and mysterious.

"We could follow them." Laura said.

Mary pulled Leticia and Laura in close. She didn't know if their house was bugged or not. She figured it was a pretty good chance it was.

"We really can." Mary whispered. "I slipped my old phone into their SUV when they were dressing."

Laura's mouth dropped open slightly as she understood the implication.

"I wondered where you went." Laura said.

Leticia didn't want to cause any problem for 'Sue' or the others.

"I don't think it's a good idea." Leticia said.

Mary wanted to know more. She knew the girls were special. She wanted to know what they really did. There was an aurora around them of mystery.

"Don't you want to know who they really are?" Mary asked.

Leticia already knew who they were. It was obvious to her by their demeanor and behavior. There was only one possible explanation.

"They're secret agents." Leticia said.

Laura figured it was something along those lines.

"It may be true." Laura said.

Mary wondered who they answered too. If they didn't do what they did for money, they did it out of loyalty. They were certainly true believers of some cause. She thought the cause was important.

"Do we know who they work for?" Mary asked.

Leticia knew 'Sue' was honorable. She believed all of them were. When they were on the ship, none of them used drugs or alcohol. It wasn't even something they talked about.

"They work for truth and justice." Leticia said.

Mary heard the phrase before and referenced a Superman TV show.

"And the 'American Way'?" Mary asked.

Leticia didn't like the sarcasm.

"They fight crime." Leticia said. "They fix other people's wrongs."

Mary took out her phone.

"They're moving." Mary said.

Laura felt a rush of excitement.

"Let's go." Laura said.

Leticia didn't want to offend 'Sue'.

"This is a mistake." Leticia said.

She was sure the girls weren't going to like being tracked or followed. She was right.

Seconds ago:

Riley was thrilled Claire was back for more. It seemed Claire kissed a little differently and she was sure her breasts felt a little different. Maybe it was the darkness and the setting earlier which made it seem different.

This was her room now and she felt a lot more confident than she did going to Claire's room earlier. She didn't know what would happen. Now Claire was here for her. She knew what she wanted.

It was when they started to pleasure each other she noticed several things were 'different'. She hadn't seen any of Claire in the darkness. She did note there was a size difference among other things. She stopped when it hit her. It took a second for everything to register. She was sure she hadn't been with Claire earlier at this point. She understood now why Claire seemed a little hesitant when they'd started. It was actually Claire's first time with her. She was unsure who it was before. It wasn't Jesse. Maybe it was one of the Metal girls. The thought it could be Sarah didn't even cross her mind. She always believed Sarah was unreachable.

Right now she was here with Claire and it's all that mattered. Claire and Samantha were identical now in all respects. It drove her to a frenzy of excitement. She gave Claire everything she could. She thought of Claire's earlier hesitation. It may never happen again.

Claire was a little reluctant to be with Riley because of the way Cameron felt about Future Riley. She'd always taken a step back with Riley because of it. All the girls did. It wasn't something any of them ever discussed verbally. It was just a feeling they all went by. No one wanted to upset Cameron needlessly over something which traumatized her greatly. It actually made her feel bad for Riley.

Maybe it was because how 'hungry' Riley seemed for her is why she went along with it. She was actually having a very good time right now. They were heavy into sex currently but she was ready to transition into some loving. She also needed to get back to her room for a three way with Sarah and Samantha.

Right now Riley was doing just fine.

Riley knew she'd taken a big step today. She also knew she needed to wrap things up before Samantha came back. She could spend the rest of the night with Claire. She really liked the love she shared with her. There needed to be a little moderation, even if she didn't want there to be.

It still made her wonder who she'd been with earlier. There was actually a lot of thrill and excitement to the concept. She'd shared extensively and intimately with someone. Now she wasn't even sure who it was. What a surprise encounter. She turned her attention back to Claire. She tried not to think about Samantha.

Sarah never wanted it to end. All she seemed to know at this point was she wanted to be with all of the Metal girls and all of the human ones too.

She really didn't know how she was ever going to be able to explain any of this to Kyle. He'd given his 'approval' for her to be with another female. She was sure she'd already taken it further than what he'd indicated was 'fine'.

She decided not to mention any of it unless he asked specifically and then not mention more than one name.

Sarah only knew she needed more….

The two cars of Grays left the machine shop. It looked like they might have some Fanatics or the anti-Metal faction to deal with.

The Resistance never crossed their mind. The Resistance kept it low key. John Henry and CamNet covered their tracks and always put the 'blame' elsewhere.

The Grays were able to get a tracker on one of the men who were there earlier. The 'manager' suspected something was up from the moment he saw them. They looked like 'business' rather than 'business men'. They tracked them to two locations. One was a mall, the other one was an industrial tract. It might be where they were based out of. There might also be an additional target there too.

It was when they spotted them on the way back to the machine shop they'd decided to act. They didn't want their cargo disturbed. They figured if the men returned to their base, they probably acquired some explosives and heavy weapons. It wasn't something they wanted to deal with from a fixed location.

The tracker showed them stop at another fast food location.

The first man shook his head.

"These clowns sure eat a lot." The first man said.

The second man knew there was a possible explanation. It was something he'd gone through himself.

"They may not be very long out of the future." The second man said. "You know we all did it for the first few weeks when we arrived."

The first man nodded. He was joyfully aware food wasn't the only thing they were able to partake in and engorge on.

"We did. We also put the grab on some skanks." The first man said.

Both of the men laughed.

"It was nice to touch a body without sores and scabs on it." The second man said. "Especially in some places…."

The first man thought about the females they put the grab on. They were the ones society threw away. Apparently their friends and family did as well. They wouldn't have been out on the street otherwise.

"Those were just the homeless ones too. We thought they were fine at the time." The first man said. "Nobody ever missed them."

Both men laughed again.

They watched the tracker. They were a little relieved to see they were no longer headed in their direction. It looked like after they picked up the food, they were headed back to where they'd been before.

"It appears they're going back to their base." The second man said.

The first man looked back, the second car was right behind them. Everything seemed to be right on track.

"It looks like a go." The first man said.

The second man wanted to know how far they were going to take things. It didn't appear they were going to be attacked any longer.

"Are we still going to take them out?" The second man asked.

The first man wanted to use the element of surprise. If the group just obtained food, they would more than likely take it back to eat at their location. They'd be totally unprepared for an attack.

"We know where they seem to be based out of. They won't be expecting us." The first man said. "It looks like easy money. We can get a bite to eat ourselves on the way back."

The second man figured they might as well kill two birds with one stone. As long as they were out, they might as well make the most of it. Food wasn't the only thing they could bring back to the building.

"Do you think when we're finished with them, maybe we can put the grab on a new bimbo?" The second man asked.

The first man didn't want any trouble.

"The Boss may be around by then." The first man said.

The second man knew it would be a problem if the Boss showed up. There was no fun or games while he was around.

"So do we try and take them before they get back or wait and take them inside their building?" The second man asked.

The first man hoped to make a clean sweep. If they took down all of the enemy at one time, they wouldn't need to go back. They wouldn't need to worry about being attacked either.

"We should wait so we can get all of them." The first man said.

The second man would like to get things wrapped up and still get a little extra on the side if nothing else.

"It will solve the problem." The second man said.

The first man wondered about it. There always seemed to be another problem soon enough.

"Get your weapons ready and make sure Team Two is hot as well." The first man said. "I want to wrap this up."

He was a little worried since the Fanatics were 'bomb crazy'. They still didn't know who it was they were about to face. Right now they appeared to have the advantage. They might as well make the most of it.

The five men rigged a few booby traps around their building. They loaded the weapons they were going to use into the two vehicles. Two of them would ride in the car. The other three would ride in the SUV.

The two vehicles set out from their location. They both took a different route towards the target building. They stopped two streets away from the target building. One of the men in the SUV launched a small drone. They wanted to take a look at the damage to the building and what vehicles were there, if any.

"I can see where the first RPG hit." The attacker said.

The first man thought his aim hadn't been very good.

"You missed." The first man said. "A fragmentation grenade doesn't do much against concrete."

The attacker was a little upset about the criticism.

"I needed to go after the van." The attacker said. "I was all by myself at this point. I needed to fire it from a moving vehicle."

The small drone moved around the west side of the building to the back. They could see the damage to the roll up door as well as the impact marks on the wall for the other RPG rounds.

The first man could see there was more damage in the back.

"At least you scored back here." The first man said. "I don't see a van though."

The attacker was about to suggest it might be inside of the building. The damage to the roll up door indicated it was probably non-functional.

"Take a look at the launcher." The attacker said. "It's in the backseat. I told you it was damaged. I don't know what happened to the van. You were able to get a look at my other vehicle."

On the way to the target location, the two vehicles passed near where the first building was attacked at. They launched the small drone and observed the destruction to the building. It was complete and total. It was clear no one survived. The small drone flew over the original vehicle the attacker drove. They could clearly see the damage done to it along the side of the hood, the windshield and the roof.

"I'm not sure what kind of weapon did the damage to it." The first man said. "I think you're lucky to still be alive."

The attacker didn't want to be looked at as a slacker.

"I did my part." The attacker said. "Don't forget it."

The first man talked to the other three men in the SUV. It was decided they would go ahead and move in on the other building. They set out to finish the job. They thought about all their colleagues who'd taken down the other building. They intended to do the same.

The attacker and the SUV arrived at the front of the target building from different directions.

CamNet's Terminator was directed to probe the building when the two vehicles left. He parked a block away and walked in. He would make a side entry as he'd done at several of the other locations. They seemed to be the least defended of the four sides. The roof was usually the softest target.

He looked at the drone images of the building. There were three skylights on the roof as well as an enclosure for the roof access from the inside of the building. He might try to gain access from the roof.

The building on the east side had external roof access. He decided he would use it first. He entered the property and went to the rear. There was a metal cover over the first eight feet of the ladder. He jumped up and grabbed the rungs above the cover and pulled himself up hand over hand until he could place his feet on the ladder and continued up it the rest of the way until he was on the roof.

There was approximately a twenty foot separation between the two buildings. He looked around in all directions. He checked his phone for the current drone image of the area. He didn't spot anyone around. He started towards the edge of the roof at a run. He picked up some speed. As he neared the edge, he jumped. He didn't want to land on top of the roof itself for the noise it would make. His goal was to grab the lip of the top of the wall and then pull himself over. It was what he did.

His body impacted the wall with a dull thud. He pulled himself up onto the roof and looked around him again. The drone hadn't indicated any threats in his area.

CamNet's Terminator silently made his way across the top of the building. He looked in all three of the skylights from each corner. He didn't spot anyone inside. He headed for the roof access opening to gain entry.

CamNet wanted Lena and Tina to stay on their current path. They were to remain in front of the Gray until they reached the new junction. The three drones fanned out when they reached the new junction.

Cameron needed to think about if she wanted Young Allison to take the shot or not. It would have world changing applications associated with it. She thought it would be a test.

"You can take the shot if you want." Cameron said. "We won't ever tell anyone what happened here. We're not even supposed to be here. Well, at least not in this capacity."

Young Allison felt a rush of adrenaline at the prospect of what she was about to do. She was about to deliver a head shot to a United States President. History wouldn't be changed if she carried out her mission without fail. If she missed, there was a chance the President might survive. History going forward would be different.

"Do you think there's a third shooter?" Young Allison asked. "If there is, they would know what the plan is. They might see us by the grassy knoll and view us as a threat."

Cameron ran some images of past footage she had of the assassination. In the initial attack on the President, he first grabbed his throat. The bullet wound in his back was down about a half a foot from his throat area. It indicated a third shooter at a higher elevation. They would be off to the right of their attack point on the grassy knoll. They would be on the left side of the motorcade, based upon the angle of the route it was on. They were most likely further away. It would also explain one of the 'loud shots' as actually being two bullets fired at approximately the same time. The 'fourth shot' picked up on the police microphone, was most likely the shot Young Allison would take. She would need to scan the surrounding buildings to determine the other shooter's location. The range from the target of both the patsy, and the grassy knoll, were relatively close to the target.

"I think it's very likely we may be spotted." Cameron said. "The authorities tried to explain everything with the 'Magic Bullet' to cover it up. The 'Magic Bullet' traveled multiple directions, as it passed through various bodies, and body parts, to end up in pristine condition at the end of its vertical and horizontal journey. There was also a report the driver turned around and fired a 1911 A1 Government Model into the President's head at near point blank range, and then calmly drove him to the hospital. There was also another report of an individual in the storm drain system who'd fired up at the motorcade. None of the bullets would seem to have a trajectory of such a nature."

Young Allison was already at the end of the row of streets. They were all truncated by the rail yard on the other side of the grassy knoll. She thought they would be able to elude any pursuers through the rail yard if it became necessary. Cameron would be able to cause multiple diversions.

"We're here." Young Allison said. "There aren't very many people here."

Cameron looked over to the side. The majority of people lined the street which wound down through the plaza. They all wanted a good view of the President. They were about to get a view they probably didn't want. Then again, maybe some of them did. She knew there was a lot of controversy as to the election in 1960. Most reports indicated ballot boxes were stuffed in several key states to change the electoral count to give the president an electoral victory. She knew it wouldn't be the last contested election. There was a percentage of the population which viewed him as an illegitimate President. They thought he would be soft on communism. He was.

The thing which struck her as amusing, were some of his speeches. The words he uttered would be blasphemy to his political party fifty years later if any other politician in the party uttered them. Sixty years later, he would be tarred and feathered for expressing such 'radical conservative views'. She was aware over time; all of the political parties took a long side step to the left. For the extreme leftist, those steps were a little more like a 'goose step'.

It was one of the things which allowed Skynet to take over so easily. Nobody believed in the country anymore. They turned its defenses over to a computer system which became self aware. Its creators were unable to reassure it. It acted on its own to protect itself and rid the planet of the human infestation which threatened it. She needed to focus.

"I'll cover your six." Cameron said. "I still have the thug's pistol. It's a wheel gun with only six rounds. I can make all six of them count if it becomes necessary. You're to stay focused on the target. Even if we start to take rounds from either one of the other snipers, you need to hold true and carry out your mission. I'm sorry we don't have any protective armor to wear."

Young Allison was just glad they had clothes to wear.

"When we get out of the car, I'll carry the guitar case." Young Allison said. "I'll pick the vantage point. If you see a better one, I want you to tell me. I need to get this right with one shot."

Cameron got out of the car and opened the trunk. The man was still unconscious. She wasn't actually sure if he would recover or not. She figured he must have because there were a few individuals they tried to investigate years later after the incident. She didn't think they were able to locate all of them. She didn't think all of them were properly identified even.

"You've been trained to carry out a mission like this." Cameron said.

Young Allison thought about it for a few seconds. A lot of things started to add up in her head.

"I've been trained to carry out this mission, haven't I?" Young Allison asked.

Cameron tilted her head slightly. There were numerous scenarios they'd gone through over the years.

"I actually think you're correct." Cameron said. "I'm not sure if us being here is actually a coincidence."

Cameron now began to wonder exactly what CamNet's involvement was. At this point, she didn't think anything was a coincidence. She was aware of all the 'coincidences' involved in the assassination plot to both an earlier president and this one.

Young Allison was actually a little concerned as to what really happened the 'first time'.

"What if the President really survived?" Young Allison asked. "What if my actions now are what actually changes history? It would be history as we know it. "

Cameron thought about Young Allison's earlier statement.

"You said you didn't want your history changed." Cameron said. "Successful completion of the mission would allow it to remain the same."

Young Allison saw it as another paradox. Her history would remain unchanged if she took the shot and delivered the fatal blow. It made her wonder about another 'Young Allison', from a different future, back in the timeline previously. She was sure it was an alternate version of herself who'd actually interacted with Cammy and Sheila in the past and set up the hydrogen bomb explosion in the Nevada desert.

She knew she wouldn't hesitate to use an H-Bomb against Skynet in the slightest. She'd already used nuclear weapons on her own, along with Savannah, to bring down an anti-Metal bunker. Like the H-Bomb in the Nevada desert, the blast she was a part of was conducted deep below ground to create a cavity for the bunker to fall into, with the rest of the mountain to collapse on top of it. Her original thought was to use an N-Bomb, a neutron bomb. It was an ERW, or an enhanced radiation weapon, designed to kill people. It still required a small atomic blast which showered neutrons in every direction. They passed through reinforced bunkers and armored vehicles like they weren't even there.

Young Allison picked up the guitar case and closed the rear door on the Chevrolet.

"Let's do it." Young Allison said. "How much time do we have?"

Cameron looked at the wrist watch she wore from the unconscious thug in the trunk of the car. She was a little worried about Young Allison taking fire from one of the other snipers. Her chassis could take a lot more damage than Young Allison's unarmored body could.

"We have approximately seven minutes." Cameron said. "I can still take over for you."

Young Allison wasn't going to neglect her duty. She set the guitar case up on top of the trunk of the vehicle. She practiced opening the latches on it several times. She could open them in three seconds and get the case open.

"I want you to give me a fifteen second warning." Young Allison said. "All of the people should be focused on the street because the President's convertible will be coming down the curved street. It was really a mistake not putting the armored hard top on it. The next President always made sure it was on."

Cameron was aware there was some speculation the Vice President may have been involved as well. She was pleased to see Young Allison was ready to act. She still questioned the circumstances which brought them to where they currently were and what needed to be done.

That Really Sucks

Is a new day
Really a new dawn
Maybe it's just a rerun
That only produces another yawn

New experiences and excitement
Should be just around the corner
It's really more of the same
Until the arrival of the coroner

To know one is still alive
One needs to feel some pain
It's one way to send a message
Deep into one's brain

Don't look for hope or expect anything
Then there's nothing to lose
Maybe the only good news
Is when there is no news

Life is always evolving
Everything is in a state of flux
Not much is for the better
Most think that really sucks

Nobody
