Making a real reputation for himself always seemed impossible to Alex. He thought that, these days, People were just trying to do anything for a popular repetition. And that's why, one day, decided he was going to look for a job at Bikini OMall. The local store with everything you could need. Canned Bread, Soupy Tomatoes, Krabby Patties in a Jar, anything you can name, it's sold! (And most likely a steal as well.)
Upon asking for a Job, he was told his interview was in One Month. He has no idea what his position is, but he is excited. However, he saw something while walking out. He saw it, His Parents house from long ago. All that replaced it was a dirt pile and "UNDER CONSTRUCTION" on the front. He walked up to it, but then, he felt it.
A surge of energy washed him out of the lot. He knew something strange was happening, but not what. He wanted to figure out the what. He had walked by his friend, Tom. Tom is a purple skinny incidental, he loves music and hates cheese even though he isn't lactose intolerant. He always appears to wear a suit, and Alex had always questioned how he never burnt up in it. Maybe he was, but Alex couldn't tell. Alex still kept walking trying to find the truth. He was starting to ask himself, "Should I leave to look for them?".
He heard something rush by him. He turned to look, but saw nothing. When he left to check the time, 1 year had passed entirely, all in 15 minutes to him. Did he experience a time slip? or did he actually walk that slow? He didn't believe those theories he came up with, and assumed his clock was broken. Later, he went up to his parents house again. He looked for anything that could have caused what happened earlier, but he was soon again, zapped out of the lot.
He went up to the Krusty Krab for a Krabby Patty, and thankfully wasnt washed away by a strange source of energy this time. But something else happened, and he didn't want it to happen. Alex had no idea what it was with electricity, but it was starting to get annoying. Just then, a lightning bolt could be heard. It reminded Alex of his parents back in the storm. He ran up to it, but he started floating off, into the nothingness.
SpongeBob had seen all of this happening he wanted to help, but didn't know how.
