In a distant town in the Kalos Region, I, Mel was waking up to become a Pokemon trainer for the first time!

This is my story

"Mel. Mel! You have to wake up!" a woman said in the mists of my room as I groggly woke up. In my room was posters all about the World Corronation Series that was taking place months in advance. I got out of bed and change into my Trainer Clothes I specifically bought before my Birthday, and soon slid down the stairs to be greeted by my best friend from the Pokemon School, Yvonne.

"Oh my gosh Mel, I'm so excited! We can finally get our first pokemon and try battling our way to the World Corronation!" Yvonne said, ecstatic.

Mel: "Yeah! But, how and where are we going to get our first Pokemon? I mean… It's not like it comes out of thin air…. Right?"

Yvonne: "Probably not."

Mel's Mom: "Actually, You'll be meeting with professor Sycamore later today to get your first pokemon and also because I and Yvonne's Mom agreed, you'll be also traveling All the regions!"

Mel: "No way?! Does that mean we can go to-"

Yvonne: "Yes."

Mel: "And we can also go to-"

Yvonne: "Yes…" She starts to get annoyed.

Mel: "Even?!"

Yvonne: "Oh my gosh, Yes! We can travel All of the regions!"

Mel: "Alright!" I cheered in excitement

Mel's Mom: "alright you two, go out there and stay safe!"

Yvonne and Mel: "Alright!" And so the two leaves for Professor Sycamore's Lab.

At Professor Sycamore's Lab, I and Yvonne walked into the lab head's high. Just as Alain walked out with his Charizard behind him

Alain: "Hm? Who are you two."

Mel: "Im Mel, and this is my friend Yvonne."

Yvonne would wave at Alain and his Charizard. Alain looks at the two in confusion and just shrugs and goes to another part of the lab. Just as he walked past, Professor Sycamore walked in the main lobby

Sycamore: "Ah! You two must be Mel and Yvonne."

Yvonne: "Yup! We're here to get our first Pokemon!"

Sycamore: "Interesting! Also, I've heard from your parents that you two loves to battle, so here you go!" Professor Sycamore would say as he tossed Three Pokeballs from his pockets, Out came Froakie, Fenniken, and Chespin.

Mel: "Woah… The Kalos Starters.. Hey wait, Sycamore, Will the Froakie evolve into a Greninja that can become special like the number 1 Trainer?!" I Asked

Sycamore: "Probably not, That Greninja is one of a kind. I wonder if it's still out exploring and saving the region…" Sycamore said to himself.

Sycamore: "But yeah, You two are on the track to become Pokemon Trainers. What will your starter will be?"

Mel: "Can I have Chespin?" I asked

Sycamore: "Ofcourse! How about you?" Professor Sycamore turned towards Yvonne

Yvonne: "Umm…" She looks at Fenniken and Froakie. It looks like she can't decide.

Sycamore: "Hm… You can't decide?" Sycamore said, looking at Yvonne's reaction.

As the trainers was selecting their first pokemon, Alain was leaning against the corner looking at Mel. He then Looked at his Mega Ring and back at Mel and Yvonne seemingly interested in their growth. He walks away after that.

Sycamore: "Okay, How about this, I have the Kantonian starters that I normally give out to trainers who has the first 4 Gym Badges… But since you can't decide.. How about these 3." Sycamore said, tossing out Squirtle, Charmander and Bulbasaur Pokeballs.

Yvonne: "Oh my stars! A Charmander?!" Yvonne was so ecstatic about seeing a charmander, She hugged it immediately.

Yvonne: "I'll chose this one!" She was very happy.

Mel: "Yeah yeah.. Counter your best friend's starter pokemon classic." I rolled my eyes

Sycamore: "Alright, now I'm sure you two have Rotom Phones with the Pokedex feature?"
Mel: "Yep."

Sycamore: "Alright! Here are some pokeballs, and You two are ready to head to Saltalune City. Good Luck on your Jouneys!"

Mel: "Thank you Sir!"

Yvonne and Mel walks out with their new pokemon with their heads high. Meanwhile, Alain walks to Professor Sycamore.

Alain: "Professor."

Sycamore: "Yes Alain?"

Alain: "I'm going to go watch those two. Just incase."

Sycamore: "Why? You just got back from training with Charizard."

Alain: "I don't know.. It's just… Something tells me that boy… He has the heart of the Champion. I want to grow off of him."

Sycamore: "Alright.. Stay safe out there. The Kalos Vines are still ripe." Sycamore said as he put his arm on Alain's Shoulder and assured him he can go.

Soon after, Alain left with his pokemon in hand. Thus starting the Journey of Mel and Yvonne.
