Chapter 1544
Fasten Seat Belts
Young Allison and Anna watched as the two teams each selected a vehicle to shadow.
The two vehicles were headed away from each other. It looked like they'd both left the building in a panic.
"I don't think they're going anywhere specific." Young Allison said. "It looks like they're just running."
Anna thought it might depend on a few factors. She wanted to consolidate the targets.
"We could allow communication between the cars and see what play's out." Anna said. "It would be better for the teams if there's only one destination."
Young Allison was worried about Young Jesse out in the field. The Metal girls were with her. They should take care of her. She was still worried about HK drones.
"I'm not sure if I want things to play out too long." Young Allison said. "I'm still worried about some HK drones at low altitude and where those helicopters actually came from. I don't think it was the building we took down."
Anna checked with John Henry and CamNet. So far there was nothing on any of the Skynet aircraft.
John Henry wondered why the two vehicles were going in different directions. It didn't seem like a good thing.
"I'm not sure where this will end up at." John Henry said.
Summer saw it differently.
"They left in panic." Summer said. "The first car crashed through the door. They're just running and not thinking yet."
John Henry thought about allowing them to communicate with each other. It might unite them and make targeting them easier. It could also divulge a different location they might go to.
"I'm going to let them communicate with each other." John Henry said.
Summer knew both of the cars were locked up with a drone for a missile shot or even a 'gravity shot' of 'metal hail'. Maybe they only needed one car to deal with and see where it ended up at.
"They can talk. It doesn't mean they'll actually need to hook up." Summer said. "I'm sure you can make their conversation interesting and challenging."
Minutes ago:
The first Gray car crashed through the roll up door after trying to run down the Terminator who'd started to shoot the Grays in the other car.
They made it through the door and saw the second car follow them out. The second car went in the other direction.
There were three Grays in the first car. They were all jittery about what happened.
"Did you see what 'Circuit Brain' tried to do?" The first Gray asked.
The second Gray thought some clarification was in order.
"He didn't try, he did." The second Gray said.
The third Gray in the rear seat looked back.
"The other car is out." The third Gray said. "I think there's only two who made it."
The first Gray was the driver. He looked in his rear view mirror.
"Why are they going the other way?" The first Gray asked.
The second Gray thought there would be security in numbers.
"Maybe we can turn around and follow them." The second Gray said.
The third Gray thought it sounded like a bad idea. He wanted to keep running.
"Don't go back the other way." The third Gray said. "Who knows what the 'Metal Head' will do next."
The second Gray thought he had a pretty good idea.
"He's probably headed for the RPG." The second Gray said.
The third Gray continued to look behind them. He saw an explosion inside the building as a fireball billowed out of the opening where the roll up door used to be.
"Whoa!" The third Gray said.
The sound of the explosion reached the first vehicle. The second Gray looked back. The first Gray checked the rear view mirror again.
"There was an explosion inside the building." The third Gray said.
The second Gray thought about what happened when they'd left the building.
"Do you think it's the 'Tin Can'?" The second Gray asked. "You did hit him."
The first Gray didn't think so. It was more of a glancing blow.
"I barely touched him." The first Gray said. "If it was a power cell, it would level the whole building."
The third Gray couldn't think of anything else which would have caused the explosion.
"What blew up then?" The third Gray asked.
The first Gray saw it as water under the bridge. They weren't stopping.
"We're not going back to find out." The first Gray said. "If there's a Resistance computer fighting the battle, it could be anything."
The second Gray thought it could have been a little more direct.
"What if it was a drone?" The second Gray asked. "We could be targeted right now."
The first Gray made a turn at the next street. He then made another turn.
The second Gray was sure it wouldn't do any good.
"I don't think you can lose a drone that way." The second Gray said.
The first Gray didn't know what they were up against.
"I don't either, but it never hurts to try." The first Gray said. "Maybe there isn't one. We never heard anything."
The third Gray pointed out they weren't the only potential target.
"Maybe it went after the other car." The third Gray said. "It left after we did."
There was a giant fireball off to their side followed by the sound of an explosion.
"Dude…." The third Gray said.
The Grays all looked.
"That was a power cell exploding." The first Gray said.
The third Gray thought of another possibility. It was one which would benefit them.
"Maybe the drone crashed." The third Gray said. "'Bucket brain' may have shot it down."
The first Gray didn't want them to get ahead of themselves.
"We don't even know if there was a drone." The first Gray said.
The second Gray looked around them as they drove.
"Where are we headed now?" The second Gray asked.
The first Gray was aware of a new location which had been set up. He'd helped hook up some of the machinery.
"There is a machine shop set up in the city." The first Gray said. "We can go there."
The third Gray thought they should have some type of cover story. There were going to be a lot of questions. There would be even more questions about how they made it away.
"What do we tell them about what happened?" The third Gray asked. "We did sort of cut out on everyone when we booked."
The first Gray was a little worried about what might happen to them.
"We'll only tell them we survived the attack." The first Gray said. "If anyone finds out we ran, some 'Tin Can' will terminate us."
The third Gray tried to use his phone. He was a little surprised when he made a connection.
"Hey, I got Williams." The third Gray said.
The first Gray wanted to get their stories straight. They needed to know where they were going to go.
"See what they're going to do." The first Gray said.
John Henry was able to listen to the conversation in the car through one of the phones before he'd activated it. He knew where the first car was headed.
It was to a location Bob and Jim went to before. Derek and Kyle were with them. He would make sure it was the vehicle they followed. The machine shop and welding shop were both under observation already. They'd set up some surveillance equipment there.
It was decided to let the Grays arrive at the location. They still needed to clean it out anyway. They might be able to gather some additional information.
Bob and Jim were pleased they would return to the machine shop and welding shop. They didn't like the fact they were tagged and tracked earlier.
"We need to get Derek and Kyle before we take down the building." Bob said.
Jim was aware how angry Derek was about being tagged personally.
"Yes." Jim said. "Do we want to snag them tonight or wait until morning?"
Bob thought about it.
"Let's see what happens when the Grays get there." Bob said. "We can cross the bridge when we get to it."
Al and Ed were given a full run down by Jim as Bob drove. They decided to get there before the Grays did. If they did, the Grays would never know they were 'tailed'. They would obtain an additional vehicle as well.
Cam was directed to go after the second vehicle of Grays.
"We have a solid target." Cam said.
Young Jesse checked her body armor and equipment. She wanted to make it known from the start she was going to be an active participant.
"I want to be part of the assault." Young Jesse said.
Gail didn't want her to take any chances. She wanted to give her maximum protection.
"You will be behind me at all times." Gail said.
Samantha would be behind Young Jesse.
"I'll cover your six." Samantha said.
Young Jesse didn't like them using their chassis to shield her. She did appreciate the level of concern for her. She didn't want to hold them back either. They might need to operate on their own if the situation arose. Everyone would need to pull their own weight. If she needed to act, she was going to act. She'd been trained for all possibilities for a long time. It was time to put the training to use.
The conversation was very much the same in the second vehicle as it was in the first.
They didn't like the fact there was blood and tissue on the seats and windows of their vehicle.
The car pulled out of the building. The driver looked and saw the direction the other car was going. He decided to go in the opposite direction.
"We're clear." The first Gray said.
The second Gray was a little concerned their car didn't follow the first car.
"Why didn't we follow the other car?" The second Gray asked.
The first Gray considered his options before he made the choice to go in the other direction. He believed there was a sound basis for his decision.
"There was a fifty-fifty chance the 'Lug Head' would come out with an RPG." The first Gray said. "The driver of the other car is the one who hit him. If we were behind it, we become the target. If we go the opposite direction, the 'Rust Bucket' will most likely want some payback. He's more likely to take a shot at the other car. Those clowns don't miss."
They saw the first and second explosions.
"Wow!" The second Gray said. "The last one was a really big explosion."
The first Gray was confident it was the Terminator's power cell. It was one less thing for them to worry about.
"I think it's the of that place." The first Gray said.
The second Gray continued to play with his phone.
"Where are we going to now?" The second Gray asked.
The first Gray was conflicted. He wanted to know a little more about what exactly happened.
"I want to check out the mine." The first Gray said.
It sounded like a bad idea to the second Gray.
"We lost all contact with everyone who was there and went there." The second Gray said.
The first Gray was aware of it.
"My buddy was in one of the cars which went there. They were on the way back." The first Gray said. "He was going to score some 'skirt' for us."
The second Gray perked up.
"Do you think they nabbed a broad?" The second Gray asked. "We're going to drive by the homeless camp and then hit the mine. Maybe we can snag one."
The second Gray was willing to go along with everything since there was some prospect of some fresh 'stank'. He continued to fool with his phone.
The first Gray wanted to know more about the other car.
"See if you can reach the other guys who made it out." The first Gray said.
The second Gray was in the process of doing so. He hit 'pay dirt'.
"I got Badger." The second Gray said.
They found out where the first car was headed before they lost communications again. It was on its way to the machine shop. It was a new location, even if it wasn't isolated. It was hidden in plain sight.
Cam's team was fed the conversation from the second car.
Young Jesse didn't like how they thought about females.
"The Grays sound like Scavengers." Young Jesse said.
Cam knew Scavengers were worse. She was aware the apple didn't fall far from the tree.
"There isn't a whole lot of difference in the types of people." Cam said. "They both want an easy life and don't care who they need to hurt to have it."
Young Jesse hoped to personally take them down. She wanted some personal satisfaction. She also wanted to get her hands 'dirty'. She was aware both Savannah and Young Allison already had done so. They'd done it face to face.
"I want the shot if we get in close." Young Jesse said. "I want blood."
Gail could tell Young Jesse was very much like Jesse.
"We'll see." Gail said.
She wanted to tell Young Jesse to be careful what she wished for. She didn't think it would matter at this point.
John finished on top of Sheila right after she did. Her arms clasped him tightly. She wanted to hang on to him. She didn't want the moment to end.
Sheila broke the kiss and looked at John.
"I love you, John." Sheila whispered.
Just this moment, John felt the same way.
"I love you too." John said.
Sheila kissed him again and deepened it. She wasn't wild about it. It was slow and soft but deep. She moved one of John's hands up so he could fondle her.
They shared some small talk. It actually surprised John. It was very much like when he was with Jesse and Young Jesse. He didn't notice it as much with Cameron, Camille and Cammy. They weren't very much like Allison. Then again, their 'Neural Interface' was based off of the original version of Future Allison. The Skynet 'Neural Interface' wasn't as thorough as the one Cameron modified. It wasn't after the time Cameron spent with Future Allison in her future when she'd 'remade' her. She almost remade her into someone totally different. When Cameron returned her to Future John, she was highly educated, extremely intelligent and culturally diverse. There were many more things she knew how to do.
He hoped to be with Ally to see how she compared to Allison and Cameron. Her programming was all different by design. Cameron hoped to make an 'improved' version of herself with Ally. He wasn't sure what the result was. If anything, it seemed like a less sophisticated version. He looked forward to finding out how much more when she was in his bed.
Sheila stepped up her kissing after twenty minutes.
John could feel the change. It was like she'd flipped a switch. He was sure she'd just activated her programming of Jesse's experiences from the 'Neural Interface'. It probably also heavily reflected on her interaction with the girls. He was aware there was a lot of it.
In one swift smooth motion, Sheila roiled him over and was on top of him now. She moved to a more upright position so he could see the front of her clearly. He really liked the view. She bent down and kissed him as she started in. He was ready.
"My turn…." Sheila whispered as things picked up. "Hold out as long as you can. I want the most out of it."
Sheila moved to a more upright position again. He watched as she fondled herself. He was sure she was about to make it already. He was surprised to watch her twist herself sharply just before she made it. He saw her wince with pain before she was flooded with joy. She never missed a beat and kept going.
He needed to hold back as she made it three more times and did the same thing. In an instant, she rotated around so she faced away from him. She made it twice the new way.
Sheila wanted to try a new position.
"Stay with me." Sheila said. "I'm going onto my knees. Try not to lose contact."
John was caught a little off guard.
She moved onto her knees and faced away from him. It took some effort on his part to stay with her as he moved with her.
"Make sure it stays where it's at." Sheila said as she looked back.
John was a little embarrassed about it. When Cameron used Sheila's chassis, she'd take it everywhere. She wanted all the virginity she could get out of each of the borrowed chassis. She'd done the same things with all of them.
John held out as long as he could. When he felt her make it again, he did too. Much to his surprise her hands came back and held him in position as she quickly knocked one more off for herself. He was sure he was about to pass out.
He collapsed backwards onto the bed and she slid in beside him again and held him.
"You're the best." Sheila said as she kissed him.
John just knew he was exhausted.
He closed his eyes for a second. Something bumped him. He looked over and Leticia was at work on Sheila. He wondered how long she'd been there. He looked down at himself and knew there was nothing left for a three way.
The 'Fasten Seat Belt' sign came on with a bell tone.
Cammy came into the room and handed him his robe. She moved him to the couch and buckled him in. Sheila and Leticia were hard at work with each other on the bed still. They got a good front row seat.
John was a little concerned since they were going to land. He was aware takeoffs and landings were the most crucial point of a flight.
"Is it safe?" John asked.
Cammy wanted to have some fun. She would answer John's question in a different way. She'd give him something to think about now since the deed was done.
"They're both females." Cammy said. "They can't get each other pregnant. Besides, you know one of them is a machine."
John quickly looked at Cammy. He wondered if any of the girls could get pregnant. Cammy told him they were 'clean'. She didn't say if they were fertile, or used birth control. He specifically asked each of them where they wanted him to finish. All three of them indicated they wanted him to finish. Now he wondered if any of them would end up pregnant or not. He wasn't sure how it would play out in the long run and what exactly Cameron would do about it.
Cammy giggled. She could see John was a little worried.
"Relax. I know what you meant." Cammy said. "We have expert pilots. You'll hardly feel the touchdown."
John was more worried about any of the girls from the ship getting pregnant at this point.
When the landing did occur, John only heard the engines go to full power in reverse thrust and the plane rapidly slowed down. It was a very smooth touchdown.
Sheila and Leticia were actually buckled in.
The jet taxied and then parked.
The 'Fasten Seat Belt' sign went off.
"We're here." Cammy said.
John was sure he was done for the night. He really would have liked to be in his room right now so he could go to sleep. Maybe he could sleep on the plane.
Jesse and Claire went to the nursery.
Holly was there with Precious. She'd checked on Derek and Riley earlier and they were both asleep now. It sounded like it was a busy night for them earlier.
Jesse sat down and Holly handed Precious to her.
Claire and Holly watched Jesse take over.
"She looks so beautiful like that." Holly said.
Claire wondered who she meant.
"Precious?" Claire asked.
Holly looked at her and smiled.
"I meant Jesse." Holly said. "I wish my sheath could do the same thing. It can't. "
Claire and Jesse both wished it too. It would add a new dimension to things.
"I like the fact you can both wear rings." Jesse said. "I miss mine."
Claire opened her robe up some so Jesse could see them. Holly looked at both of them and did so as well.
They both took in the size of Holly's massive breasts.
"It's a luscious pair you have, Holly." Jesse said.
Holly looked down at herself and then at Precious as Jesse nursed her. She would rather be able to nurse an infant and actually be able to do something, instead of just being big and non functional. Size wasn't everything when it came to functionality.
"I'll trade you." Holly said.
Jesse could tell Holly was serious. It seemed everyone wished for something they didn't have, or couldn't have. Such was life.
Bob's team tracked the Gray's vehicle with the drones. They were already near the machine shop when it arrived. They thought it would be better to already be in place rather than arrive after the Grays did. If there was some kind of surveillance it shouldn't identify them arriving after the fact. If they did, it could indicate a 'tail'.
They let Al and Ed off along the way and they acquired another vehicle. They were on the other side of the machine shop.
The Grays arrived and moved the car inside the building. There were no lights on inside.
Moments ago:
The Grays who'd been able to get out of the target building neared the machine shop.
"I think we made it away clean." The first Gray said.
The second Gray looked behind them.
"Let's get this thing parked first." The second Gray said.
They arrived at the gate in the rear. The third Grey got out and opened the gate. The car drove in and he closed it behind them. He hurried to the rear door and worked a keypad. He went inside and opened up the rear roll up door. The car drove in.
The other two Grays got out of the car.
"Now we made it." The second Gray said.
The third Gray closed the roll up door and looked out the small window in the rear door.
"The question is, for how long?" The third Gray asked.
With all of the events and missing people, they really didn't know what was in store for them. They knew they'd survived the attack where most of the others hadn't. They still didn't know for sure what happened to everyone else.
The Grays in the second car were going to back track the route the two cars which went out earlier should have taken to get back. They neared the railroad tracks. They spotted several sets of flashing lights up ahead. They were near the homeless camp where they'd lured some females away from and put the grab on them before. They usually used the lure of food. They found it worked better than money for a quick pick up.
"It looks like there's some trouble at the homeless camp." The first Gray said.
The second Gray could only think of one possibility. It seemed to have both good and bad overtones.
"Maybe they did put the grab on someone after all. It probably got called in. Usually no one cares when one goes missing." The second Gray said. "Slow up some."
As they neared the homeless camp, they saw the emergency vehicles were actually past the homeless camp. They were closer to the railroad crossing.
"There's a train stopped over the crossing." The first Gray said. "I think there was an accident."
They spotted some fireman working on a wrecked car.
The second Gray looked at the color of the car.
"Hey! It's one of our cars." The second Gray said.
The first Gray looked at the mangled wreck. The only thing identifiable on it was the color.
"No it's not." The first Gray said. "Look at it."
The second Gray was sure it was. It wasn't a common color.
"I'm telling you, man, it is." The second Gray said. "Stop, let's ask what happened."
The first Gray was sure any interaction with the authorities was a mistake. It would definitely get them a second look by them if they did.
"I don't think so." The first Gray said.
The first Gray took a good look at the remains of the vehicle. It was the unique color. If some of their crew was killed, they needed to know more. He needed to know how it happened. He decided to stop anyway. The second Gray called out to one of the fireman standing by the fire truck.
"Did anyone get hurt?" The second Gray asked.
The fireman looked over.
"Yeah, I'll say." The fireman said. "It looks like some kids were street racing or something. They tried to beat the train to the crossing. There are bodies inside the wreckage. It looks like two, maybe three. It's hard to tell at this point."
"What happened?" The first Gray asked.
The fireman had been to more than one scene where the same event occurred. It always ended the same way, under the same conditions.
"It was a tie." The fireman said. "The car lost."
The first Gray hoped not to attract any attention.
"Sorry to hear it." The first Gray said.
The first Gray drove off.
The second Gray got a good look at the car when they talked to the fireman. He was positive it was the same vehicle.
"It was them, man." The second Gray said.
It looked like it might have been their car to the first Gray. Maybe if they went by the mine and followed up on what was happening there, they would find out more.
"Maybe it was." The first Gray said. "Let's head by the mine and see what we can find."
The second Gray didn't want to take too many chances.
"Don't get too close." The second Gray said.
They needed to take a longer way around. They neared a tall bridge over a dry gulch.
The first Grey spotted some skid marks on the pavement and the missing railing on the side of the bridge.
"Hey, look at that." The first Gray said.
He slowed as they passed a section of the bridge which was knocked out along the edge.
"It looks like someone went over the side there." The second Gray said.
The second Gray didn't want to worry about it.
"It was probably some dumbass kids." The first Gray said.
The second Grey thought about what the fireman said.
"It's what they thought about our guys." The second Gray said.
The first Gray stopped.
They got out and looked over the side through the gap in the retaining wall. They couldn't see much of anything. It was way too dark.
"Whatever is down there is still smoldering." The first Gray said.
The second Gray was more than a little worried.
"Maybe it's the other car." The second Gray said.
The first Gray was worried as well now. He tried to brush it off.
"I doubt it." The first Gray said.
He did doubt it but he also worried it could be. Their phones were still out too.
They took a different road towards the mine. They were on a dirt service road. There were fishers in the dirt every so often as they neared the mine. They almost got stuck a few times. Where there were cuts through knolls, dirt slid over the road.
The second Gray took in the landscape. He wasn't sure they should continue.
"I don't think this is such a good idea." The second Gray said. "We're going to get stuck."
The first Gray felt the tires spin a little as they went over a mound of loose dirt.
"You might be correct." The first Gray said.
He backed up and parked off to the side.
The two Grays continued on foot.
They cut across a lightly wooded area. They could see the mine compound in front of them. The moonlight was bright.
"Where is everything?" The second Gray asked.
The first Gray took in the devastation.
"It's gone." The first Gray said.
"Where did it go?" The second Gray asked.
"It's just gone." The first Gray said.
The second Gray found it a little hard to believe.
"There are only a few collapsed buildings left." The second Gray said.
The first Gray was positive it was a massive underground explosion.
"There are sure a lot of things going wrong." The first Gray said.
The second Gray already had a bad feeling. It just got worse.
"I don't like the look of any of this." The second Gray said.
The first Gray didn't either. There was too much which didn't add up.
"Let's blow." The first Gray said.
They hurried back to where they'd left the car. It wasn't there.
"Where's the car?" The second Gray asked.
"It's gone." The first Gray said.
"Where did it go?" The second Gray asked.
"It's just gone." The first Gray said.
Two figures moved out in front of them.
"I heard you blokes were looking for some fresh skirt…."
There was movement behind the two men. Before they could even move or do anything. Their world went black.
The Terminator checked the drone image. The two vehicles were at the front gate. The first one crashed through it without slowing. The people in 'the hole' would need to wait.
He exited from the building. He took up a position behind one of the cars.
CamNet asked if he wanted a missile strike. She could do it before they arrived.
He told her what he wanted.
The first car pulled up behind the others which were parked there. It couldn't go any further. The second one stopped behind it. The doors on both cars opened. Even as the occupants exited the vehicles, sparks began to fly off of the metal of the cars.
The area around the two cars was blanketed with 'metal hail'. The three men who exited from both vehicles fell alongside of them.
The Terminator approached the two vehicles. There was no movement around them or inside of them. Everyone was terminated. He quickly searched the bodies for any useful information. He collected the phones and deactivated them. Everything would be delivered to a secure location to be gone through for more targeting information.
He collected the bodies and added them to the pile inside the outbuilding. He returned inside of the main building. He secured the hard drives and collected the money. He left some of it on top of the table. He retrieved the two bodies from inside the main building and added them as well.
The Terminator went down the stairway. He held his silenced M9 in his hand. He threw the latch on the door. He held his foot against it in case whoever was inside tried to force their way out. It would be their best chance to escape. It would be the moment the door opened.
No one pushed against the door. He opened it all the way. There were a few individuals huddled in the two farthest corners. They all appeared to be female. He made a quick count. There were five of them.
"I'm here to help you." The Terminator said. "Come with me if you want to leave."
He turned away from the door to start back up. Only one of the females followed. She followed him up the stairs.
"The men who abused you have been terminated." The Terminator said.
The female looked over where he pointed. She could see a couple of bodies on the ground. She couldn't see the entire group.
"Are they all dead?" The female asked.
The Terminator was stone faced.
"Affirmative…." The Terminator said.
The female looked back down the stairway.
"It's okay." The female said. "It's clear up here."
The other four females came up the stairway. They all look scared.
"I need one of you to come inside the other building." The Terminator said. "There's no one inside of it anymore."
The girls looked at the vehicles parked in front of it.
"What about all these cars?" The first female asked.
The Terminator held up two sets of keys.
"You can take one or two of the vehicles if you want." The Terminator said. "They won't need them anymore."
The first female looked towards the main building.
"What's inside there?" The first female asked.
The Terminator handed her both sets of keys.
"Money…." The Terminator said. "It's yours if you want it, or you can leave now. It's up to you."
The five females all looked at each other.
"How much money is it?" The second female asked.
The Terminator already segregated the money into two categories. He did it when he'd collected the bodies earlier. One he would take with him. The other one he'd left on top of the desk.
"There are several thousand dollars for each of you." The Terminator said. "The men here won't need it any longer."
The females quickly talked among themselves.
It was clear the first and second female were interested. It appeared the other three just wanted to go.
The Terminator kept track of the drone images over the area. So far there'd been no movement around the compound. One coyote was detected. It sniffed the air a few times, but didn't approach the area.
The first female handed the three hesitant females one of the keys.
The Terminator pointed to what vehicle it was for.
"You're free to go." The Terminator said.
The first female looked at the other ones.
"Let me check it out first." The first female said. "You shouldn't miss out. We're all owed something for what we've been through."
The Terminator reminded them of a harsh reality.
"If you go to the authorities, they'll take the money from you." The Terminator said. "There will be nothing here but ashes when they arrive."
The second female wanted to see the money.
"I want to look inside." The second female said.
The first female stood next to her.
"I do as well." The first female said. "Let's go."
The other three females carried on a quick discussion.
"We'll wait by the car." The third female said. "You can understand why we're a little hesitant to go in there."
The Terminator nodded once.
"Affirmative…." The Terminator said.
The Terminator entered the building. The first and second female followed him.
Both of the females stopped at the doorway when they saw stacks of money on the desk. The Terminator had already taken two thirds of it and put it in a tote bag.
"Is it really for us?" The first female asked.
"Affirmative…." The Terminator said. "You each get one fifth. I didn't know how many of you there were."
The second female could hardly believe it. It was clearly thousands of dollars.
"Let me tell the others." The second female said.
The second female went back outside and told the other girls it was for real.
One of them was still a little hesitant to enter.
The second girl told her it was legitimate.
The Terminator quickly divided the money into five equal stacks.
"There's some for each of you." The Terminator said. "Take it and go. What you do after you leave here is up to you. Now is the time to restart your life. Use your head and stay away from narcotics."
The Terminator found some cloth grocery bags in the kitchen area. He gave each of them one.
The females collected the cash. They each thanked him for freeing them and giving them the money. They all seem somewhat excited at this point.
They decided to leave in two vehicles. The first and second female would go together. The other three females would take the other vehicle.
He told them to ditch the cars as soon as possible. He also told them not to let anyone know what they carried. He offered them a few revolvers he'd taken off of some of the men. Most of them carried autoloaders. He was aware females needed more training to operate a self loading firearm. A revolver was generally much simpler for them. He showed them how to use them. All they needed to do was point and pull the trigger.
The Terminator watched the females leave in the two cars. One of the drones would orbit over their position from time to time. It was time to burn the buildings.

Young Allison and Cameron could both hear the loud blast of an air horn.
The roar of the exhaust of the locomotives could be heard a few seconds later. They were currently behind the building.
Cameron was aware of the schedule. The train was right on time.
"It's Train 98." Cameron said. "It's the Daylight. It will arrive at Union Station at 6:00 PM."
Young Allison watched as four locomotives emerge into view and headed across DeSoto Avenue.
"It looks like four ALCO units." Young Allison said. "There are two PA units into PB units."
The locomotives were arranged as a PA unit and PB unit, followed by a PA unit and PB unit. She thought it would look more aesthetic if the two PB units would have been back to back, with a PA unit on each end. She remembered what Cameron told her. The railroads already lost faith in their own passenger service. It was now more matter of getting from point A to point B without worrying about how it was done or what it looked like.
The majority of the cars in the consist were silver with the red letter board stripe. There were a few Daylight painted cars still mixed in.
The train passed as quickly as it appeared.
The crossing gates started to go up. As soon as the southbound side crossing gate arm rose up a few feet, a car hurried through. The lights were still flashing and the bells were still ringing. The arm was less than halfway up. The car in the northbound lane waited until the arms were almost all the way up.
"I can see things haven't changed much over the years." Young Allison said.
Young Allison and Cameron went to get back into the panel truck.
Cameron paused. She looked towards the Simi Hills directly to the west.
Young Allison picked up on her hesitation. She looked where Cameron looked.
"There's going to be a test." Cameron said. "It's just started."
Young Allison could see a bright orange glow suddenly appear at the top of the hill. It was followed a second later by a loud roar sound. The brightness of the glow increased as did the volume of the roar.
There was a large cloud which developed along with it. It seemed to intensify the glow as it reflected off of it.
"The cloud is a combination of the rocket exhaust and the water used to cool the testing fixtures as it's turned into steam." Cameron said.
Young Allison was impressed at what she watched. She'd never seen anything quite like it. They were probably only about five miles away from the test site as the crow flew.
"I can't feel the heat, but I can feel the vibration from the sound." Young Allison said. "I don't even think it's a large rocket engine."
Cameron was unsure what the tests involved. She didn't think it was a good idea to get involved in the records of the testing program. They would have some type of computers, but she would need to be on site to access them. She believed it would be even easier to infiltrate the rocket testing facility than it had been the Nike Base. Then again, she didn't attempt to get to where the missiles were kept because of the dogs. She didn't want to have to terminate them. She didn't think Savannah would approve of such an action. She doubted Young Allison would either.
She figured they would be hundreds of employees at the facility. No one would know who everyone was. They probably wore a badge, which no one ever looked at. She was sure if she were to show up wearing a lab coat and holding a clipboard, no one would question her presence, especially if she wore a pair of glasses. She would put her hair up to look more businesslike.
Young Allison wondered how long the test was going to last. It already seemed like it had been at least few minutes.
"You said they do a full burn on every rocket engine first to make sure it would work." Young Allison said.
Cameron thought it was a good policy. If astronauts' lives, or the safety of the nation depended upon the rocket functioning perfectly, it was a worthwhile test.
"Yes." Cameron said. "It's an effective strategy."
The bright orange glow began to fade and then went out. The roar dimmed in volume and then stopped. The giant cloud over the area was no longer lit. It still remained. It would take a while to dissipate.
"Wow." Young Allison said. "It's an awful lot of power."
Cameron was aware with great power, came great responsibility.
"It all depends upon how it's used." Cameron said. "Skynet looked good on paper. The application of it left something to be desired."
Cameron looked over and saw a number of people had come out of the bowling alley. They could hear the rocket engine test and came out to see it. It was a phenomenon which was impossible to miss for anyone in the San Fernando Valley. After someone saw one for the first time, they knew what it was. It was always impressive to watch.
Young Allison looked at the people standing alongside of the bowling alley.
"I don't think the bowling alley is very crowded." Young Allison said. "There aren't very many cars in the lot either."
Cameron thought it would be a better time to go. There would likely be fewer individuals to challenge her.
"We can go there if you want and play a few games." Cameron said.
Young Allison looked over at the bowling alley. It seemed simple enough. What could go wrong?
Fasten Seat belts
Some things are more secure
When they are built with nuts and bolts
Given enough fire and heat
Everything warps and melts
The path forward may not be smooth
There can be many vibrations and jolts
It is easy for some to be swayed
They are set up as marks for cults
They will feel the electrical charge
Delivered in amps and volts
Thunder and lightning together
Create and form potent thunderbolts
Those who do not hear or listen
Will create animosity and revolts
It's better to pay attention
Then deliver workable results
The road ahead is bumpy
It will create bruises and welts
Make sure everyone is inside
Have them fasten their seat belts
Nobody
