Chapter 1548

Shut Off The Coolant

Hanna left John's room. She headed for the nursery. She was elated and couldn't wait to tell Ally what a good time she'd experienced. She decided to make a detour. She wanted to see where everyone else was at. She only found Allison and Vanna together. They were both asleep. She noted Vanna seemed to be in a trouble free sleep. It often wasn't the case. She'd like to go back and see John later on with Ally, Vanna or Allison. She wanted there to be two of them at the same time with John.

She left and made her way straight towards the nursery. She spotted John in the hall on his way to the Command Center. Maybe she should have sent Ally sooner. It might mess up Ally's chances now if John got involved in an operation.

Hanna entered the nursery. She listened at the door and entered Riley's quarters. She headed for Precious' room.

"I've been waiting for you." Ally said.

Hanna didn't think she'd been in John's room too long.

"I needed to wait for him to finish the second time." Hanna said. "It was great."

Hanna proceeded to tell Ally everything they'd done and what she'd experienced and felt.

Ally thought about everything Hanna told her. It sounded like a very positive experience. She wanted the same experience for herself. Cameron already stripped the virginity from her chassis. She still wanted her 'first experience'. She was going to take it too. It was too bad if Cameron didn't like it. She was promised 'one time' with John for Cameron's use of her chassis first with John. What was fair was fair.

"I can't wait." Ally said. "I want it too. I want the same thing."

Hanna knew where John was currently at.

"He needs time to recharge." Hanna said. "He's also in the Command Center now."

Ally didn't want to hear it. She knew how involved some operations could get.

"You should have tired him out more." Ally said.

Hanna was defensive.

"I did what he wanted." Hanna said.

Precious stirred.

"Now look what you've done." Ally said.

Hanna felt it was on Ally.

"You're the one who raised their voice, not me." Hanna said.

Hanna picked up Precious once her eyes opened. She wanted to sooth her. Precious looked around in the dim light.

"What's she looking for?" Hanna asked.

Ally wasn't sure.

"I think she's looking for Summer." Ally said.

Hanna figured she would look for Riley. She didn't know Summer was there earlier.

"I hope she thinks I'm Vanna and doesn't start to cry." Hanna said.

Ally figured Hanna could 'fake it' for a few minutes.

"Open your top and let her suckle." Ally said. "You can act like a big 'pacifier'."

Hanna thought it was more like something Sheila would do. She could see Precious wanted to nurse. She quickly opened her top. Precious tried to nurse.

Ally was a little shocked.

"What are you doing?" Ally asked. "I was just kidding."

Hanna knew there were some bottles of milk.

"Go warm a small bottle and bring it here." Hanna said. "This is only going to work for so long."

Ally thought they should call Vanna instead.

"I'll go get Vanna." Ally said.

Hanna remembered how serene Vanna looked.

"No." Hanna said quickly. "She's sleeping peacefully for once. Don't wake her."

Ally frowned and headed for the kitchen. She found and warmed a bottle and brought it back. The room was empty. She looked around. Hanna was now seated in the nursery. It was probably so if Precious cried, it wouldn't wake Riley or Derek.

Hanna took the small bottle and held it between her breasts. Precious started to use it.

Ally thought there should be some type of better optic for Precious.

"Cover one of your breasts over so she doesn't think you're a freak." Ally said.

Hanna thought it would be hot. She actually witnessed it before.

"It reminds me of the time Sheila tried it." Hanna said. "It looked Hot."

Ally remembered too. Sheila removed some of her sheath between her breasts and attached a third breast off of a damaged female chassis Cameron brought back. It did look Hot after two days. Everything blended together nicely.

"It did." Ally said. "It reminded me of the movie with the actor who looks like Bob."

Hanna nodded.

"I remember the scene." Hanna said. "It was a 'sex worker' on Mars."

Ally knew Sheila started to take it too far.

"It was when she was going to give herself two of 'something else' when Cameron put her foot down." Ally said.

Hanna remembered.

"Cameron told Sheila to 'fix' herself or she would install the sheath section off of a male Terminator on her and make it permanent." Hanna said. "It was one with a hairy chest too."

Ally and Hanna both laughed.

They continued their discussion about some of Sheila's antics. There was no shortage of them to remember. They'd shared some great times together.

Riley woke up. She went to check on Precious. She found the room was empty. She could hear two people talking. She moved quietly towards the nursery and listened. She found their conversation very interesting.

When they'd discussed Sheila with three breasts in a row, she looked down at hers. There was no room for a third one. Hers would need to be doubled decked with a second row. She could have four of them. She wondered if she would look like a cow then. Maybe she would mention it to Sheila the next time she saw her. She'd really like to see what it looked like.

Earlier:

John Henry spotted John on the way to the Command Center. He looked over at Summer.

"Were you going to stay here?" John Henry asked.

Summer figured Ally would be the next one to visit John. She'd felt Ally's desire to have 'her turn' with John. She thought she could direct John in the proper direction when it was time for him to leave.

"Yes." Summer said. "John won't stay long if I'm here. I make him nervous."

John Henry figured it was true. It was the way John acted around Savannah and then Young Allison. Now it was Summer.

'It's because he likes us.', popped into John Henry's head.

Summer looked at him and winked.

John passed the first door to the commissary. He thought he should have gone in. He went in the second door. He'd tried an 'energy drink' before he left his room. He wasn't sure where they came from, but they always gave him some added 'zoom'.

He found a small bag of the 'cheese things' he liked. They were the crunchy kind too, not the puffy ones. He finished it and drank some water before he continued along his way.

He entered the Command Center.

"Hi, John Henry." John said. "What's up?"

He didn't see Summer yet.

John Henry filled him in.

"It sounds like there is more of the operation to play out." John said.

Summer wanted to make her presence known.

"Hi, John, I think the mine was the climax." Summer said. "The one involving our operations."

John jumped. He was glad he hadn't continued watching the movie while John Henry filled him in. He'd almost started. It was one of his favorite scenes with the tub.

"Hello, Summer." John said. "I didn't see you."

John thought she was up very late but didn't know if he should say something. It didn't seem like his place.

Summer didn't want John to worry.

"I won't stay long." Summer said. "I'm probably going to take a bubble bath and then lay down."

John looked around at his monitors and wondered if the movie hadn't started on one of them. It sounded like the scene he'd just thought of.

Maybe it was time for him to leave. There wasn't anything actively going on currently. Everything was in surveillance mode.

John got up.

"I just wanted to check in." John said.

He tried not to look at Summer, but he did anyway.

"Let me know if anything important develops." John said and hurriedly left.

John Henry knew exactly what Summer did to 'influence' John.

"I know what you did." John Henry said.

Summer wasn't done yet. She was well aware of what Ally wanted earlier. Now seemed like a good time to get started.

"It's nothing Ally won't appreciate." Summer said. "Send her a com message and let her know she's good to go."

John Henry did. He wondered why Summer or CamNet didn't send it instead.

Summer glanced over at him.

"Let's just focus on the mission for now." Summer said.

Summer figured Ally would get a little 'extra' since she'd made John think about some of the things he really wanted.

John Henry tried to clear his mind. It was clear Summer knew how to 'play' all of them. He knew she was a match for Cameron and CamNet. He'd watched what she'd done to a version of Skynet. It wasn't pretty either. He knew she could do it to him as well.

Summer shrugged her shoulders slightly.

"I won't." Summer said. "Unless I have to."

John Henry tried not to look at her and concentrated on the operation.

Young Allison and Anna looked at the new drone images.

"I don't like how those buildings are arranged." Young Allison said. "The street angle leaves a little to be desired as well."

Anna noted the sharp bend in the street.

"It could serve as an ambush point if all of those buildings are all compromised." Anna said.

They looked at some of the previous satellite images.

"There's new construction in the one satellite image from a year ago which doesn't show up on later images or the current drone scans." Young Allison said. "It goes right into the hillside."

Anna looked at the images.

"All the US based images don't show this. We're looking at a Chinese intelligence service image." Anna said. "CamNet has access to every satellite in space."

It worried Young Allison some the images with construction didn't show up on any of the US based satellite images.

"Were the US based satellite images erased, or was the satellite programmed not to photograph the area?" Young Allison asked.

Anna quickly looked into it. It didn't appear to be good news.

"It seems the search area was programmed out of them." Anna said. "There were no images to erase. CamNet is checking now to see if other locations have been deprogrammed."

It reminded Young Allison of another problem.

"What's the current status of the one reactor in Southwest Asia?" Young Allison asked. "I mean the one with the theological dictatorship where they 'don't get it'."

Anna checked.

"It's back online. It is buried deep underground this time." Anna said. "They're attempting to make weapons grade plutonium again as well."

Young Allison knew one version of Skynet was clandestinely associated with the rogue Southwest Asian country before. Skynet wanted to use the nation as the initial nuclear strike source. When the other nations amped up their defenses in response, Skynet would launch everything from them at each other. It was time to put the brakes on what was currently happening. It was time to send a lethal message.

"Shut off the coolant and let it go critical." Young Allison said. "Deactivate every warning device and make it look like everything is fine. I don't want them to be able to stop the reaction this time. I 'warned' them before. There won't be another warning."

Anna sent instructions to CamNet. She wanted to remind Young Allison what was going to happen.

"It will result in a melt down." Anna said. "Hundreds of those working on the project, if not thousands, will be blasted with fatal radiation if they aren't killed outright."

Young Allison didn't see the problem. The group had been warned to back off. They'd been given fair notice.

"It was a Skynet affiliated operation in the past." Young Allison said. "Bring it down. Since it's underground, I don't care if you can get an explosion out of it or not. Let everyone get blasted with radiation who is associated with it. It will take them out of the picture soon enough. It should be the middle of their work day now."

Anna received word the coolant system was shut down. It wouldn't be detected until it was impossible to stop the melt down.

"It's done." Anna said. "There are four hundred and twelve people in the facility at the current time."

Young Allison would have hoped for more. Maybe there was a way to get more of them into the building before the incident became lethal.

"See if CamNet can get the second shift called in early. It will expose more of them to the lethal radiation." Young Allison said. "They were warned not to play with fire. I don't like slow learners. They will need to start with a fresh batch of scientists and workers after today."

Young Allison figured it would delay their ambitions at least a few more years. There wasn't any doubt the regime would attempt to start over again. When they did, she would run a temporal mission and have a nuclear device waiting at the location for them. There would be a nuclear explosion at the new location.

Anna didn't say anything else about it. She didn't want Young Allison to pursue any additional personal vendettas. She went over the current drone images.

"It looks like there's a wind sock behind the third building." Anna said. "It may have acted as a small hangar."

Young Allison viewed an enhanced image.

"I knew the place was dirty." Young Allison said. "We can almost bet the helicopters originated from there. Make sure John Henry knows everything."

Anna wondered about the Southwest Asian reactor. It didn't seem like a good idea to her.

"Do you mean the reactor too?" Anna asked.

Young Allison didn't want any flak. Maybe it was time to move a few things to the back burner.

"It can be everything except the last part." Young Allison said. "It was always CamNet's operation. Let's keep it 'off of the books'. It is doubtful the nation will report the incident."

She was aware third world dictatorships played everything close to the vest. There were a few others which were in the news she should look into and see what CamNet could do to bring them down. Rogue nations were ripe for control by some Skynet offshoot. The more she could nip in the bud, the better. It seemed the best way to stop a cancer from spreading, was to remove it as soon as possible. There was no reason to let it grow and infect other areas.

Jim and Bob watched the machine shop. The Grays inside seemed to lay low. They'd only contacted the manager. It was the guy Bob and Derek talked to.

The manager tried to call the mine and the other location which was taken down. There were no responses.

"He didn't call the place where Cam's team is headed." Jim said.

Bob was pretty sure why.

"They have to figure something is up with all the resources they've lost so far without a trace." Bob said. "Remember, we took down most of the Grays associated directly with the machine shop and welding shop already."

Al and Ed didn't have any new developments to report.

They watched the drone image of the manager and his associate at the Hotel Six.

"It looks like they're packing up." Jim said.

Bob figured they were about to run. They might also head where Cam's team was.

"I don't think they're going to come back here." Bob said. "Then again they might."

They were going to need to let events play out a little further and see what developed.

Cam stopped half of a mile away from the target location. Young Jesse pulled up behind her after going around the block in the other direction. The drones over them still showed everything was clear around them.

They went over all the information John Henry and CamNet provided them with.

Young Jesse wanted to make her observation clear. Because of the location, it would play to their advantage.

"We have clear targets with the group of buildings." Young Jesse said. "They're all dirty and the street is an ambush point. This is an isolated area."

Samantha knew there were several options. She didn't want Young Jesse to go into any buildings on foot.

"We can call in a drone strike and be done with it." Samantha said.

Cam looked at the earlier Chinese satellite image. It was the only image which showed there'd been some 'work' into the hillside.

"It doesn't answer the question as to what's inside the hill." Cam said. "Even with the buildings destroyed, what ever is inside the hill will survive. It's the whole point of putting it there."

It seemed pretty straight forward to Young Jesse at this juncture.

"It looks like we'll need a 'field trip' inside the mountain." Young Jesse said.

Gail didn't like the risk factor for Young Jesse. There were alternate methods available to them.

"The last underground expedition was dangerous, dirty and involved." Gail said. "We should use a drone strike."

Cam wanted to know what was inside the hill, if anything. If Skynet was up to something, they needed to know what it was. He needed to know how far along things actually were. They need to know what their enemy was capable of. There was only one way to know for sure.

"I'm going to go in on foot alone." Cam said.

Young Jesse knew she was a detriment to the team right now. She was going to tie up one or more of the Terminators. She didn't want anyone to go off on their own. She thought about her earlier statement involving a Trojan Horse. They currently possessed one.

"Gail or Samantha needs to go with you." Young Jesse said. "Wait. We can all go. We have their car. We should be able to drive right up to the building closest to the hill."

Samantha thought it sounded like a bad idea. She knew Jesse asked Gail to watch over Young Jesse. She knew Gail would take it very seriously. She didn't want to create any animosity or apprehension.

"I'll go with Cam." Samantha said. "You two will wait here."

Cam and Samantha checked their gear and ran off.

Young Jesse disagreed with the current situation. She wanted to be involved deeper. She wanted to be able to back up the rest of the team.

"We should go with them." Young Jesse said.

Gail knew it was a bad idea. She also didn't want Cam and Samantha to get into a bind. Maybe when they found out a little bit more about what actually was going on, they could make a more informed decision. Right now they were on hold.

"We'll see." Gail said.

Earlier:

Mary was bent over the bed. She tried to straighten it up a little.

"Nice view." Sheila said.

When Mary stood up and turned around, Sheila and Jesse were there. They looked like twins, except one wore a set of jewelry and the other was noticeably larger on the top.

"Look at you two." Mary said. "Does it get any better than this?"

The three of them were naked.

Jesse really liked what she saw. She was anxious to get started. The going looked good, so there was no reason not to get going.

"I guess the next part will be the judge of it." Jesse said.

Jesse kissed Mary and gently pushed her back down on the bed.

Sheila hung back a little and watched them. She would let them knock one off together first and then join in. It excited her to watch Mary and Jesse together. She watched Jesse and Leticia together earlier too at one point. She knew it was what she looked like when she was with each of the girls. She thought it looked Hot.

Claire looked Leticia over in detail. She liked what she saw.

Leticia was very pleased to be in the company of Claire. She hoped to please her.

"What would you like?" Leticia asked. "I'll do whatever you want."

Claire was taken off guard a little. She didn't want to seem selfish on her part. She wondered if someone told her to act a certain way.

"Did Jesse tell you to ask?" Claire asked.

Cammy currently was on the sidelines. She already knew the drill.

"She's a submissive." Cammy said. "She likes to please everyone. I'll let you two get acquainted first and then join in like I did with Laura."

Claire didn't want to be served. She wanted to share.

She moved in and kissed Leticia, who kissed her back with even more passion.

Cammy watched them go to work on each other. She could see Leticia was clearly superior in the pleasure department.

She joined in once they each made it. She didn't have long to wait. There was plenty for all of them to share.

Laura looked at Camille and Holly. She was sure they were both 'special girls'. She couldn't quite take her eyes off of Holly.

"That's quite a pair." Laura said.

Holly tilted her head slightly. She looked at Camille and then down at her breasts. She wasn't sure exactly what Laura referred to.

"Do you mean us, or these?" Holly asked as she touched herself and then pulled on her jewelry slightly.

Laura felt a rush of excitement as she watched her. It was obviously a double answer in this situation.

"It's both." Laura said.

Camille let Holly and Laura share first like they'd done with Mary. She liked to watch Holly in action. They finished quickly and it evolved into a three way. There was more than enough to share for everyone. Right now Laura was double teamed by two Metal girls. She was in for a good ride.

Ally received a message from John Henry. It was the message she'd wanted to receive. John was on his way back to his room. She intended to intercept him so he would invite her into his room. She was going to invite herself in if he didn't. She wasn't about to miss out on her one time, especially since it was her 'first time'.

"Gotta go…." Ally said and all but ran out of the nursery.

John thought about the bubble bath.

It wasn't the image he wanted in his mind right now.

He spotted Ally down the hall.

It was who he wanted to think about.

Wait.

Maybe it was Allison.

Those two always looked identical to him. Then again, it was the point. It looked like she was headed for his room so he didn't really care. One was as good as the other. He actually hoped it was Ally. He wanted to break her in as herself. He was going to need to think about how many 'first times' he'd been able to collect over the last week or so.

John reached his room and waited.

Ally walked up to him.

John looked carefully at her face. It was perfect. He was sure it was Ally.

"Would you care to join me?" John asked. "I'd like the pleasure of your company."

Ally looked around.

"You would?" Ally asked.

John opened his door.

"Yes." John said.

Before she could answer, he swooped her up off of her feet. It was Ally alright.

Ally was thrilled by the gesture.

"I'm heavier than I look." Ally whispered.

John carried her inside the room.

"I don't have far to go." John said.

Ally pushed the door closed.

John carried her to the bedroom and set her down in front of the bed.

Ally didn't want any 'outside' influence over her first experience.

"All my programming is off, John." Ally said. "This is just you and me now."

John couldn't believe it. It was the same thing they all said.

"I've waited so long for this moment." John said.

The look of love flooded Ally's eyes.

"As have I…." Ally said. "I love you and you love me."

John couldn't help himself. He was lost in the moment.

"I love you and you love me." John said.

They kissed. It was very soft, slow and deep. It was a beautiful kiss.

They playfully undressed each other.

It worried Ally a little because she 'looked' like several of the other females John was with before. She was glad he still looked her over in detail as if he'd looked at her for the first time. It was what she wanted. She wanted to be 'special'.

John gently moved Ally onto the bed.

She looked at him with her big brown eyes full of love.

"I'm ready, John, make me a woman." Ally whispered.

John realized he was as excited as he was the first time with Cameron. This was the same thing all over again!

He worked on Ally from the top to the bottom and back to the middle. When she finished, he moved up.

Ally looked like a schoolgirl to him right now. She squirmed with anticipation. He could see she was a little apprehensive. He figured it was the 'Allison' in her programming.

"Go slow." Ally whispered in his ear. "I've never done this before."

The statement always excited him greatly.

He felt her back arch some and her neck did too off to the side a little.

She looked back into his eyes as he picked up the pace. Her arms clasped him tightly. Their lips locked in a soft loving kiss as they embraced and slowly made love to each other.

John didn't think about Cameron or anyone else….

The Terminator quietly closed the door and waited in the same spot he had previously. It appeared the third man was about to come to him.

The door from the workroom into the hallway opened. The third man walked into the hall. He didn't bother to close the door.

The Terminator looked through the gap between the door and the door frame. He didn't see anyone else near the door. He pushed it closed.

The third man turned around to see why the door closed.

The Terminator was already on the move. He grabbed the man by the neck and snapped it. He carried him into the bathroom by his neck and dropped him on top of the other two men after he took his phone and searched him.

He didn't think there was a Terminator on station. He believed there would have been some indication of it by now. There hadn't been. He asked for a low drone pass. It would be just out of human hearing range.

He could hear the drone as it approached. It made one pass from east to west. It made a second pass a few seconds later from north to south. It showed there was only one other heat signature in the building. It was the fourth man.

The drone returned and stayed directly over the top of the building. It would be able to deliver direct gunfire into the building if necessary. It showed the fourth man move in the direction of the door into the hall. It was possible he suspected something was amiss. He paused outside of the door.

"Are you guys all right?" The fourth man asked.

The Terminator used the third man's voice.

"We've got a water leak in the head." The Terminator said

The Terminator used the second man's voice.

"Go get a wrench." The Terminator said.

The Terminator used the third man's voice.

"We're going to need some help in here." The Terminator said.

The Terminator used the second man's voice.

"We're going to need more than help." The Terminator said. "Go outside and shut the water off."

The Terminator used the third man's voice.

"Where's it at?" The Terminator asked.

The Terminator used the second man's voice.

"Just go look for it." The Terminator said.

The fourth man remained outside of the door.

The Terminator waited in the same spot as he had for the other two men to enter. The door slowly began to open. He could see a firearm appear along with the man's hand. There was soon an arm behind it. It was clear the fourth man suspected something was wrong. He moved to go further into the hallway.

"What's going on?" The fourth man asked.

The Terminator reached over and grabbed his wrist. He crushed it as he pulled the man through the door. The fourth man let out a scream. The pistol fell to the floor. He pulled the man into the hallway and grabbed his neck. He snapped it. He carried him into the bathroom and dropped him on top of the other three men after he was searched. He quickly made sure he'd collected everything from all four of them. He had. He made his way back into the hall and approached the work room area. The drone overhead indicated there was no one else present.

He quickly searched the building. He didn't find anything of significance other than a few crates. There was some speculation there could have been a couple of HK Tracks or an HK drone inside of the building. Neither was present.

The Terminator went out to the truck and used the keys he taken from the first man. He unlocked the rear door and lifted it. The back of the truck was empty.

He notified CamNet of what he discovered. They discussed what the reason was for the late arrival of the truck. They didn't know where it came from. CamNet said she needed the truck for another operation. There would be of Resistance Terminator by to pick it up at some point.

The Terminator went down off the dock and went to the rear gate. He unlocked it but didn't open it. He returned inside the building and did a more thorough search. He opened the crates up which were there. There were no markings on the outside of them. There was no indication where they originated from. He found the crates all contained ingots of Colton. He quickly notified CamNet of his find.

He went ahead and loaded them in the rear of the truck himself. They only took up about a quarter of the space. CamNet would still be able to use the truck for her own purposes later on. He locked the rear of the truck and left the keys where CamNet instructed him to.

The Terminator wouldn't burn the building until later on. He was about to leave when he received a new set of instructions from CamNet. He was to move the truck away from the location to a secluded spot a couple of miles away. He was to load the bodies in the back of it for now. Since none of the men had been shot, there was no blood around the area.

He quickly moved the four bodies into the back of the truck and secured the box section. He went over to the east side and replaced the screen back on the window. The building didn't look tampered with, even if it was mysteriously unoccupied. There were surveillance devices inside of it now as well.

He rolled the rear gate open. He went back and drove the truck out. He got out of the truck and locked the gate with the chain. For all practical purposes, the building looked like everyone left and there hadn't been any terminations inside of it.

The Terminator drove the box truck to the pre-arranged location. CamNet told him she would deal with it from there. He started out on foot back towards where his SUV was at.

The Security Center was a mess from the earlier attack. The security chief moved away from the Security Center. The RPG was ready to fire.

He could hear the other HK Track. It was close.

There was another electrical discharge from the front. The lights flickered once but remained on.

He heard two of the trucks start. It was one after the other. They quickly drove away.

"Cowards…." The security chief said.

The trucks had been gone for a short period of time. He heard the HK Track coming closer. He figured it came over to investigate the noise of the trucks. He hoped it took a shot at them for running off. He tried to maneuver around to get behind where he believed it would appear.

There was another major electrical discharge and the lights went off. The emergency lighting came on. It provided very little illumination, except in a few areas.

The security chief didn't hear the HK Track moving. He hoped it was paralyzed like the other one. He moved forward with the RPG ready to fire.

Seconds ago:

The female Fanatic and Jill heard another loud electrical noise towards the front of the building. They move towards the first of the other parked trucks. The lights flickered several times but remained on. It didn't look like they would remain on for long.

They heard the other two trucks start up and leave.

"Someone is getting away." Jill said.

The female Fanatic looked back in the direction of where the other two trucks were at.

"It's not the truck drivers who drove them here." The female Fanatic said. "It was probably some of the truck drivers who drove these trucks. We need to be on the lookout for any of them attempting to reach this area to drive out one of the trucks. We know what the other trucks look like. We might be able to find them again."

There was another large electrical discharge and the lights went out. They didn't come back on this time. The faint battery-powered emergency lighting came on. It barely dimly lit up a few areas.

Jill held her Beretta in her hand. Her knife was close by.

"I'll keep watch behind you." Jill said.

The female Fanatic went to the back of the first truck.

The rear door was open. It was empty. She moved on to the next one, and then the next one. They were all empty.

The female Fanatic and Jill heard the HK Track moving around before the last big electrical discharge. It was over in the location where the other two big trucks left from.

Earlier:

Tina and Lena climbed into the big rigs. They were parked side by side. They looked at each other and fired them up. They started forward.

There was another electrical discharge from the front. Both of them felt it.

Lena approached the roll up door. She'd planned to crash through it. She knew once the trucks started, they would draw the attention of the HK Track. Much to her surprise, one of the Grays opened the door. He'd probably been hiding and wanted to get a ride away from the area. He waved the truck on through. She increased her speed and left the building quickly.

Tina watched what happened. She watched the first truck exit from the building. She saw the Gray standing by the side of the door. It was clear he expected to be picked up. As she neared him, she continued to increase her speed. She angled the big rig over slightly and hit him with the corner of the bumper. His body slammed up against the wall. She passed out of the building.

There was another major discharge of energy from the spatial portal. Both of the female Terminators felt it. The trucks continue to run. They headed for the front gate.

Before they lost contact with the drones overhead earlier, they saw one of the two remaining manned checkpoints was the one at the front gate.

Lena and Tina both drove with their lights off. They neared the front gate.

Cameron held the door open for Young Allison. They exited out into the parking lot. They were both a little relieved to see there was no one waiting there for them. It was often the case after a 'challenge'. They would hate to have trouble so close to home. The area they were in wasn't a rough part of town. It would get worse as time went on. It seemed to be the case all over.

Young Allison looked behind them.

"I'm glad to see there's no further challenge." Young Allison said.

Cameron was ready for any challenge.

"I don't mind waiting." Cameron said. "If anyone challenges me, they will lose."

Young Allison was aware she could beat Cameron, or any of the other Terminators, in the pool. She didn't bother to point it out. She was looking to cause any trouble.

"You're the best." Young Allison said.

Cameron looked towards the east.

"Let's go." Cameron said.

Young Allison started to walk over towards the panel truck.

"Who's going to drive?" Young Allison asked.

Cameron tossed her the keys.

"You can." Cameron said. "We're not leaving in the vehicle yet."

Cameron started over towards the side street. Young Allison followed her. They crossed over it and moved through the empty lot on the east side of the check printing business. They neared the railroad tracks.

Young Allison could see the oscillating headlight in the distance to the east. The regular headlight beamed brightly below it. She could see several of the block signals. They all indicated red going eastbound. It was a good thing since the train approaching was coming westbound.

They backed up to about a hundred feet away from the tracks. If they were too close, they wouldn't be able to get a good view of everything.

Young Allison figured it was a passenger train. Cameron wouldn't have known what the schedule would have been otherwise.

"Which train is it?" Young Allison asked.

Cameron was aware the train was running a little late. It was only a few minutes.

"It's Train 75." Cameron said. "It's the overnight Lark northbound. It left Los Angeles at 9:00 PM. It may have departed a little late. It should arrive in San Francisco at 8:30 AM tomorrow."

Young Allison watched as the headlights grew closer and closer. She could hear the horn for the crossing at Reseda, and again at Corbin. She was aware in this time period that Tampa Avenue, Winnetka Avenue, and Mason Avenue hadn't been put through yet. They all dead ended at the railroad tracks on both sides, even though they were built to the full with of the street on each side of it.

In just a couple of minutes, the locomotives barreled down on De Soto Avenue. They heard the melodic five chime horn blast out the standard Federal mandated warning. There were two long blasts, a short blast and then a final long blast as it passed over the intersection. She really wondered how some people could claim they didn't hear or see the train when it hit their car, if they survived. She was aware one individual even stated, 'the train pulled right in front of me.'

Cameron could see there was an FP7 on the point. It was followed by two F7B units. There was a PB2 and a PA2 which ran with its nose facing the baggage car.

Young Allison believed it looked a little more aesthetic see the locomotives running with a cab unit on each end and the B units in the middle.

The train streaked by in a flash. As it passed, they could see there were diners seated at the tables in the dining car. A few of them wanted to get their meal taken care of before they turned in for the night.

The tracks curved around to the north after they crossed over DeSoto Avenue. The curve would straighten out for the northbound straight away as it reached Lassen Street.

Young Allison watched the red light high above the drumhead at the rear end of the last car, as it disappeared around the corner.

"It was moving pretty good." Young Allison said.

Cameron was sure of the reason.

"It's currently a few minutes behind schedule. The Hogger is trying to make up time." Cameron said. "Since the first three locomotives were EMD units, and the last two were ALCO units, I have a feeling they had a problem with a couple of the ALCO units. They probably grabbed the closest passenger units available. They were probably from the San Joaquin Daylight, it runs through the Central Valley. The three EMD units only make as much horsepower as the two ALCO units do."

Cameron knew the three EMD units would produce 4,500 horsepower combined. The two ALCO units would produce the same amount of horsepower. The ALCO units were turbocharged. The EMD units were normally aspirated.

Young Allison didn't think there would be any more trains for a while. She started back over towards the panel truck. She opened the door and looked around inside.

Cameron did the same when Young Allison unlocked her door.

Young Allison started the panel truck She entered the side street. She pulled up to De Soto Avenue and waited. She wanted to make a left. The traffic wasn't very heavy. When it was clear to do so, she made a left hand turn and headed north on De Soto Avenue. In the darkness she could see the orange trees on both sides of the street. The street was very narrow north of the railroad tracks. It was only one lane in each direction.

"Where do you want to go?" Young Allison asked.

Cameron looked at the bag of food on the floor of the panel truck.

"You can go home and eat your food if you want." Cameron said. "We can stop by a store if you want to pick up a few more things. It's going to close soon. The closest one is on Mason Avenue. It's a Safeway store."

Young Allison read in her studies of the time period about Safeway stores. They were usually the first one into a community, and usually the first one out once the competition arrived. It was their standard method of operation. They were known for their high prices. Young Allison would have liked to have gone to the Thriftimart. She wanted to go there just because of the giant 'T' which resided over the location.

She followed Cameron's instructions. She made a right hand turn on Plummer Street to go east and then a left on Mason Avenue to head north. There'd been more orchards and even more open fields as they drove the short distance.

There were a number of houses on the east side of the street as they went north on Mason Avenue.

"I can see where Safeway gets their customers from. Young Allison said. "There are quite a few houses on the east side. I think just about everything on the west side will turn into businesses and industries eventually."

Cameron and Young Allison turned into the Safeway parking lot. It was on the west side just south of Lassen.

Shut Off The Coolant

Even when things are identical
There will always be a variant
Everything is always in motion
Change is the only thing constant

A victory in the end
Does not always go to the dominant
Events can be drawn out
Or evolve in an instant

When every story is told
There may be a slant
What can be done
To reverse an adverse cant

Small things with good intent
Can prove to be quite significant
Some may prove to be
As much original as brilliant

When things start to heat up
They can become more than an irritant
It's time to back off
Not shut off the coolant
