Chapter 1550

Things Took Off Fast

Jim and Bob were outside the front of the machine shop and the welding shop. The Gray manager arrived and went inside. There was a group of Grays inside who'd arrived from another location the team took down earlier.

They'd set up a few surveillance cameras previously when they visited the two locations. Right now they wanted to hear what the Grays discussed. One of the surveillance cameras actually picked up the group and was able to capture their reactions as they spoke.

The manager looked very displeased.

"Let me hear it again." The manager said. "I want to make sure I get all the facts correct."

"I'm telling you, man, the 'tin can' flipped." The first Gray said.

The manager nodded his head slightly.

"Sometimes they go bad." The manager said. "No one knows why."

"He took out Warner and his crew first." The second Gray said. "There was some kind of a power surge and there was smoke coming out from the middle of his torso."

"With all the other trouble earlier, we didn't want to stick around as he shot everyone." The third Gray said. "We still don't know what happened at the mine or with the two choppers. We didn't find out anything about any of the other crews which were sent out."

"No one ever returned." The second Gray said. "We were a block away when the entire building blew up."

"We went back to look for survivors, but there weren't any." The first Gray said.

The manager looked a little skeptical.

"Are you sure no one else made it out?" The manager asked.

"No." The first Gray said. "The other car was shot up some. I don't think anyone made it out."

Bob and Jim listened. They could tell the Grays who escaped didn't want to be accused of running in the face of action. It was exactly what they'd done.

"They're lying about most of it." Bob said. "They never went back. They bailed and left everyone to terminate. They did nothing to help."

Jim was aware there was no honor among Grays. They were all frauds.

"They don't want to admit they ran." Jim said. "They would need to admit they're cowards."

They continued to listen.

"We expected to find more people here." The first Gray said. "Are they out?"

The manager looked a little upset. He seemed angrier now than he already was.

"We lost some men earlier. We had four suspicious people here. This location may be compromised too." The manager said. "If it wasn't before, it probably is now."

The three Grays looked at each other.

"We weren't tailed." The third Gray said. "I kept a good watch from the back seat."

"We should all pull back to HQ and ride this out." The first Gray said.

"Why didn't you go there first?" The manager asked.

"We thought there was a full crew still here." The first Gray said. "HQ must be low on men at this point."

"I sent my assistant there." The manager said. "He's going to check it out. We might be up against the Resistance super computer."

The three Grays were concerned. They looked worried before. They looked really worried now.

"They told us it's just a myth." The second Gray said.

"We heard it's really another version of Skynet from a different future, or a further time period." The third Gray said.

The manager shook his head and held one of his hands up as he waved it back and forth.

"It's SkyMaster you're thinking of." The manager said. "There've been reports of Fanatics from then too. There's no proof of any of it."

"What about Las Vegas?" The second Gray asked. "We heard they ran into some of them there."

"We don't know what really happened there either." The manager said. "I think we have people not doing their jobs and making up stories about what really happened and why they failed. It's mostly 'CYA' talk."

The three Grays looked nervously at each other. It appeared they weren't sure if the manager referenced them.

"We didn't fail." The first Gray said. "Do you think it was the 'Boogie Man' at the mine, and with the missing choppers too? Something or someone must be behind all of it. It can't be just a coincidence."

The manager looked angrily at the first Gray. It appeared he wanted to strike him.

"Don't get smart." The manager said. "I'll drop you right here. You know HQ had hidden cameras in all those locations."

The third Gray looked nervous as he looked at the other two Grays.

"They did?" The third Gray asked.

"Most likely they do." The manager said. "They want to know what happens when we lose a place. We've lost a lot of them and a lot of equipment too."

"It's the Resistance, man." The third Gray said.

"We don't have any proof they exist for sure in this time period." The manager said. "Skynet wiped out everyone involved with the Resistance in the past before."

The second man didn't look convinced.

"We've all heard the stories of a 'Metal Bitch' who shows up at times and destroys everything." The second Gray said. "They said she worked closely with Skynet before she was sent back. Maybe she's SkyMaster."

"Those are rumors." The manager said. "One 'Metal Bitch' doesn't take down fifty operations or more over a decade and walk away from it all."

"What if she's Liquid Metal?" The first Gray asked. "She could go anywhere or be anyone."

The four Skynet operatives all looked nervously at each other after the statement. It was clear in that moment, each of them wondered if one of the others wasn't a Liquid Metal Terminator. With all of the unknowns and the mystery involved, everyone was on edge and afraid to trust each other.

Bob and Jim watched and listened as there was some pushing and struggling. There were some punches delivered and a lot of cursing.

"What the Hell are you clowns doing?" The first Gray asked.

"We were just checking to see if it was you." The second Gray said. "Maybe you're Liquid Metal."

"Do you think you would all still be alive if I was?" The first Gray asked. "Those things are unstoppable."

The manager looked as irritated as he did angry.

"All right, that's enough." The manager said. "Mount up. We're going to pull out. There are some explosive charges in the second storeroom. Let's get this place wired and we'll leave a giant booby trap for the 'Metal Bitch', or whoever shows up."

"That's more like it." The second Gray said.

"Get to work." The manager said.

"What about HQ?" The first Gray asked. "Are you going to notify them?"

"We'll tell them when we get there." The manager said. "Right now everything is mum."

"Why?" The first Gray asked.

"In case there really is a Resistance super computer or SkyMaster." The manager said.

"See, man, I told you." The third Gray said.

"I think he's really afraid of the 'Metal Bitch' who doesn't exist…." The first Gray said.

The manager looked even more disgusted. He threw his hands up in the air over his head.

"Whatever…." The Manager said. "Shut up and get to work."

John Henry and Summer observed the Gray's plans in the machine shop.

"At least we have a heads up." John Henry said.

Summer knew the Grays were going to die at this point.

"Bob's team needs to act right now and take the place down." Summer said. "You don't want more people where Cam's team's at."

John Henry thought it would be easier to deal with everyone at one location.

"It was the plan." John Henry said. "Maybe we can take them down now."

It seemed pretty straight forward to Summer.

"You have four Terminators there." Summer said. "Do it - Now."

Young Allison was ready for the team at the machine shop to act now. There were valuable resources which could be obtained. The best part was, there would be no record of where the equipment came from. There would be no electronic or paper trail to follow. It seemed prudent to her, the Resistance team should act now.

"There is no need to wait for them to wire the place." Young Allison said. "Cameron will want the machinery and equipment."

Anna received an update from CamNet.

"CamNet agrees with Summer and you." Anna said. "There's already a backup team on the way. They've acquired a group of trucks to remove the equipment. CamNet was able to provide them with various trucks."

Young Allison thought about the timing.

"I bet it's Steve, Tom, Dan and Frank." Young Allison said. "They dropped off the grid as soon as they left the executive transport."

Anna checked.

"You win the bet." Anna said.

Young Allison knew CamNet already put the play into action.

"Was Summer behind this?" Young Allison asked.

Anna didn't know and didn't receive any updates.

"It's unknown." Anna said. "If it was, you know she's three moves ahead of everyone else."

Young Allison was amazed at how Summer stepped up in John's absence. She wondered how much of what happened with John was really orchestrated by CamNet, or even Summer.

She'd always known her sister was an amazing individual. From a very small child, she could see how intelligent Summer was and how quickly she learned everything. She didn't know the details for sure, but she believed she was a lot like River. She actually believed she possessed abilities superior to those of River. She really wondered how much Summer could control John Henry or CamNet. She was aware Summer decimated the Skynet computer in the mine. She believed if anyone was the 'Chosen One', it was actually Summer.

A thought crossed her mind more than once. If anyone ever 'came after' the 'Chosen One', Savannah and her would be the prime targets. If Summer was really the 'Chosen One', Summer would be spared.

She wondered if it was the same thing Cameron did to make herself the target instead of John and Sarah to protect them. Maybe Savannah and her were the 'targets' to protect Summer.

Young Allison didn't like the concept of having a bullseye painted on her back. She did see for the protection of the future, it was an effective strategy. Right now it was all speculation. She really didn't think Cameron would sell Savannah or her short.

Cam and Samantha arrived at the second building. They didn't encounter any more trip wires or sensors. At least there weren't any they'd detected.

Samantha gave the building a once over.

"This looks like the first building." Samantha said.

Cam thought so too.

"It's probably more storage." Cam said.

The layout was the same as the first building. The drone images showed the rooftop was of the same configuration as the last building. Assuming everything was the same, they knew how to enter the building undetected. At least they believed they were undetected.

Samantha was ready to step up and do a little more. She felt she needed to share the risks like any other Terminator.

"Do you want me to take this one?" Samantha asked. "You don't need to do all the heavy lifting."

Cam figured it was like the one she already went into. She knew the layout. She slung her suppressed M4.

"I'll do it. I know where everything is at." Cam said. "Boost me up."

Samantha repeated the same procedure and catapulted Cam up to the roof.

Cam made her way to the access hatch and checked it. There was nothing detected. It seemed like the first one. She pulled up on the hatch cover to take up the slack, and snapped the catch. She lifted the cover and went inside. She let the cover close behind her as she went down the access ladder. Things looked a little different inside of the building from what she could see. There might be a new level of danger.

"I think there may be HK equipment in here." Cam whispered. "I hope none of it is active."

Everyone understood it for the threat it was.

Young Allison worked on her plan for the two cars of Grays. Young Jesse was on board with the plan.

Cam's transmission might change everything.

Anna was unsure why Cam thought there may be HK equipment inside. It seemed like something which either was, or wasn't. There could be something hidden. It might be an ambush.

"There must be something which made Cam say it." Anna said.

Young Allison figured Cam would use caution. She wanted to work with Young Jesse to take down the two cars of Grays who were on the way there. She wanted to use 'metal hail' to disable the cars.

"It may be so." Young Allison said. "Gail and Young Jesse need to face the next problem."

There were currently three different locations where it appeared there was about to be some type of immediate action.

Young Jesse and Gail planned to take down the two cars before they reached the complex. They wanted to do it as quietly as possible. They didn't want to use a drone strike with a missile.

They waited from behind cover at the ambush point.

Gail continuously checked their surroundings. Her main concern was for Young Jesse's safety. She couldn't let anything happen to her.

"Stay low and don't expose yourself." Gail said.

Young Jesse trained for scenarios like the one they were about to face. None of it was actual combat. It was all still just training. She hoped all the training was going to pay off. The training was never the same twice. Even if it appeared it was going to be, there would always be a new twist added into it. The element of surprise, or the unexpected, is what needed to be forefront in her mind as things played out. She believed she was ready for whatever situation developed. They currently possessed some good intelligence. The drones were able to let them know exactly what they faced.

"I think I'm good." Young Jesse said. "It looks like we have five Grays in two cars. The lead car has two Grays in the front. The second car has two Grays in the front and one in the rear."

There was a drone which tracked both vehicles. It dropped down to a lower altitude to lessen the time of the gravity shot for 'metal hail'. CamNet made sure the airspace was clear. In some type of an emergency, the drone could go lower and use direct gunfire if it was necessary.

The cars were three miles out and closing.

They'd previously moved off on foot to almost two miles from the compound where Cam and Samantha were. There was an old pump station of some type in back of them. In back of it was the hill where the activity was at earlier, near the third building. The hillside was more than likely the key to whatever the current operation was about.

'Coltan Overcast' and 'Cherry Bomb' were in much closer. They were to watch over Young Jesse specifically. One of them was just outside of Terminator hearing range and the other was up higher. They flew in an overlapping figure eight pattern in counter rotating directions. There was one directly over Young Jesse every thirty seconds. They could tighten the pattern and be over her every twenty seconds, or even ten seconds. If necessary, one could remain directly over her, but off to the side. It would be in case it was brought down with some type of anti-aircraft fire.

They could see the headlights come over a small knoll in the distance.

Gail and Young Jesse watched their phones with the drone images of the vehicles. They kept watch around them as well.

Young Jesse felt she was ready. She'd already gotten her hands dirty earlier. It was a very controlled setting. She'd killed two men in cold blood. The way they'd been busted up by the Terminators, actually made it more of a mercy killing. She'd put them out of their misery.

"I'm good." Young Jesse said.

Gail was a little worried about Young Jesse's safety. She thought she'd performed admirably so far. It pleased her to know every version of Jesse was 'solid' and could be counted on.

She would use her chassis as a shield for Young Jesse as much as possible, if they started to take gunfire. It was a calculated risk. She knew she was durable, even if she wasn't indestructible. She was willing to take the heat. She couldn't let anything happen to Young Jesse.

Vanna and Allison slept side by side.

Allison awoke a few times but drifted off to sleep. If Vanna would have been awake, she would have tried for a little more. She wanted a 'finish'. Vanna seemed to be resting peacefully, which was unusual. It was why she didn't bother her. After the third time, she decided to knock one off by herself. She quietly did. She made it a double, and then a triple. She liked to have total control sometimes. She soon fell deep asleep.

Vanna was deep in her dream.

She was on the sand as the surf swirled around her feet. It was cool and refreshing. The sun had just started to rise. She wasn't really sure where she was at, but it wasn't the Wastelands. It was where she usually was at. When she was in the Wastelands, she needed to avoid the men. They were usually in groups and they were always after her. She didn't want them to rip her clothes off and hold her down. She hated when they did. None of it seemed to be a worry now.

There was a sound she couldn't place at first. She moved away from the water. When she looked back, the water was gone. There was only green grass there. Somehow it all seemed normal. It was noon time now.

She looked up at the sky. It was blue. There was no haze to it whatsoever. There were no clouds. It was just blue sky. It was beautiful to see. There were so many years when there was nothing but dark gray sky over her. Those years were hard to remember right now. It seemed all she could think about was how peaceful everything looked. She almost felt as if she'd been touched by an angel.

There were some trees now. She didn't know where they came from. They weren't there a few seconds ago. They contained various types of fruit. She took a moment to look at the different trees. There was one type of tree for each different kind of fruit. There were dozens and dozens of them.

Snap.

What was that?

It was an animal. It was a deer. She thought she hadn't seen one in a long time. There was another animal near it. It was a cougar. The deer walked over to it. Their faces touched each other for a few moments. They both walked off together. They weren't prey and predator. They were friends. It was nice to see the animals get along with each other.

There was a new sound.

She could hear someone. She moved closer and there was the sound of a female who seemed to make sounds as if she was being pleasured. She moved closer to the rocks to look over them.

When she did look over them, there was no one there.

Vanna's eyes opened. She looked around and saw she was in her room. It was always a good place to wake up. She wondered if she dreamt all of it. She must have. Most of it was forgotten soon enough. All of her dreams were the same way. Most of them contained things which were done to her, or someone tried to do them to her. The last dream was nice.

She could see Allison was asleep. She looked so peaceful. She closed her eyes and started to drift back off.

Precious!

Her eyes shot open and she carefully sat up. She was naked. She looked over at Allison. She was naked too. They'd shared before they'd slept. She reached for Allison's exposed breast to touch it. It was very hard to resist since it was right there. She checked herself. She pulled the sheet up on Allison a little further instead and covered her breast. Allison was her favorite, even when there were Metal girl's who looked just like her. They still weren't Allison. Allison was a firecracker. She was always unpredictable. She was hot or cold in an instant, and back the other way just as fast. She was quick to bite and easy to forgive.

Vanna could see fairly well with the dim night light. She looked at the time and knew she should have checked on Precious earlier. She didn't usually sleep this long at any one time. She usually woke up with her heart pounding as she narrowly avoided being taken, again.

She found a top on the floor. It was a pullover. It must be Allison's. She spotted a bathrobe on the back of a chair and took it. She slipped it on. She went back and looked at Allison asleep. She seemed to have a smile on her face, almost. She hoped it was a good dream.

Vanna headed out into the hall. She stopped and went back and looked in Jesse's room. It was empty. Maybe Claire and Jesse were in Claire's room. She didn't know they were on the executive jet parked at the airport.

She reached the intersection of the hall. She heard 'Allison' giggle. She looked over and 'Allison' was at John's room. John kissed her and she kissed him back deeply.

Wait.

It must be Ally. She wondered if Ally was just with John. It sure looked like it. She didn't want to be noticed having just seen them. The door to John's room closed most of the way and blocked them from her. She hurried across the intersection and slipped into the nursery. She looked behind her as she entered to see if Ally or John saw her. They didn't. She turned around and was more than a little surprised at what she saw going on.

"I'm sorry." Vanna said as she turned to quickly leave.

"Wait."

Earlier:

John and Ally were together. Ally was on top now. She planned to make the most of it. She didn't know when she was going to get the opportunity to be with John again. She wasn't sure what the repercussions were going to be from Cameron either. She pushed those thoughts from her mind. She was promised her one time. She collected what was due her.

Ally's hair hung down over her face and enclosed John's face like a waterfall. She bent and gave him a kiss as she moved to take a little more. What she wanted was ready for action. She planned to take advantage of things.

"My turn…." Ally said as she started it.

She brushed her hair around one side of her neck to keep it out of her face.

John fondled her and went along for the ride. He was glad Metal girls never tired out or slowed down.

Life was good.

Ally started out a little slow at first. It didn't stay that way. It took her a little bit to find the angle which pleased her most. She was out to satisfy herself as many times as she could before John finished. She knew he would be done this time for a long time when he was done.

She liked the way he fondled her and touched her. She bent and kissed him deeply several times. It excited her to feel him squirm beneath her. She knew it was her actions which produced the result. She liked being in control. She finished once and kept right on going. She didn't realize every time she finished, she moved faster and faster. She was lost in a world of pleasure.

John was along for the ride and it was a wild one. Ally was dynamite. She was different from Hanna and Allison. It was good. She actually reminded him a lot of Sheila right now. Then again, everyone knew Ally and Sheila were deeply in love with each other, even if they always denied it. They'd spent a lot of time together over the years.

He held out as long as he could, but Ally was too intense. The fact she made it over and over only furthered his excitement. When it happened, he grabbed Ally and tried to slow her. It actually only seemed to further excite and motivate her. He was sure he was going to go insane before she made it twice more and slowed. When she stopped, her face was inches from his. Her hair enclosed them in the tight space.

She lowered her body tight against his. Her arms wrapped around his back. Their lips touched soft and tender. It was clear Ally was overcome by love.

"I want you all of the time." Ally whispered. "I'm yours anytime you want or need me."

John was touched by Ally's sincerity and feelings of love. He wasn't sure how much of it was from Ally, Holly or Allison. Maybe it was all three of them.

John could tell he was done for a while. It was in a very short time. Ally moved off of him. Her head was right next to his. One of her arms was draped over him. One of her legs was too for a few seconds, but she quickly moved it back and closed her legs up.

Ally wanted to spend the rest of the night with John. She didn't want to overstay her welcome. She wasn't the only one to want to share the same experience with John.

John was thoroughly beat. He was both physically and mentally tired. It had been a long day and an even longer night. Things happened which he couldn't even have imagined before. So much actually happened, it was hard to take it all in.

"We can shower and I need to sleep some." John said.

John started to get up.

Ally could see he was beat. She remembered how John picked her up and carried her earlier.

"My turn…." Ally said again as she scooped John up in her arms.

She carried him to the shower.

They playful washed and dried each other.

Ally dressed with John's help. She could tell he liked helping her put her clothes on. There was a lot of contact.

They went to the door of his room.

"I want to be with you more, John." Ally said.

John didn't want to make any promises. He figured what happened going forward would be what Cameron wanted, or didn't want to happen. He still didn't know the Metal girls all acted without Cameron's specific approval. They'd acted on their own. Cammy was the one who made sure he was with the girls from the ship. Cameron hadn't sanctioned their involvement either.

"I want it too, Ally." John said. "I'm not sure how things will work going forward."

Ally frowned. She knew Cameron would try and hog all of John's time.

"We'll see." Ally said.

They played around at the open door for a minute. They kissed several times as Ally giggled.

Ally started to leave and stopped. She went back inside and partially closed the door.

"I can come back with any of the girls if you want me to." Ally said. "I'll do whatever you want."

John was touched. She really wanted more and didn't care what she needed to do to get it.

"I love you, John." Ally said and left.

John watched her walk away. He'd really experienced a wonderful time.

"I love you too." John said.

He closed the door and leaned against the back of it. He couldn't believe his good fortune and everything Cameron allowed and provided for him. He really thought it was generous and magnanimous of her to be so sharing. He wouldn't have believed it before the cruise, even if it's what Cameron said she wanted to happen. He didn't believe her. She might be acting on the orders or suggestions of Future John when she said those things. He really didn't know. Right now he really didn't care either.

This really was the best honeymoon ever. He sure hoped Cameron experienced half as good a time as he'd experienced so far.

Ally was elated when she left the room. She wanted to be with Hanna right now. She hoped she was done already. She headed for Riley's room.

She stopped outside the nursery door and listened.

'What the Hell?' Ally thought.

She listened a little longer and moved on. She headed for Vanna's room.

She was pleased to find Allison in there alone. She took off her clothes and climbed into bed.

Allison opened her eyes and looked at 'herself'.

She moved her head closer and Ally kissed her. She touched Ally and felt she was naked. It appeared to be an open invitation.

Things took off fast.

It seemed the girls who looked the same, never could get too much of 'themselves'. They really liked to see what the others saw when they were with them. Whenever any of them were with a Metal girl, who shared the 'Neural Interface' with them, it was always something special. They were very much alike in everything they did and wanted. It was because they shared so much of the same 'personality'. It was a beautiful and unique experience. The only thing better than it, was when one of the human girls could be with a Duplicate version of themselves, or another future version of themselves. When it happened, they really were with themselves.

Life was good in Paradise.

Cameron and Young Allison watched the events unfold with the rude female in the Safeway store.

"Look what she's doing now." Cameron whispered.

Young Allison looked over and watched her. She was a little confused by her actions.

"I don't know if she's going to purchase those or not." Young Allison whispered.

They watched as the rude female pulled the price stickers off of some expensive items and replaced them with the lower price stickers from other items. She put the lower re-priced items into her shopping cart. She saw it for what it was. It was theft.

"She's stealing." Cameron whispered.

Young Allison wasn't sure which was worse. Was it attempting to defraud the store owners, or the destruction she'd done earlier with the cakes?

They watched her open a couple of boxes and switch the contents between them. She put them back on the shelf.

Young Allison didn't like the concept.

"Someone is going to buy something and be very disappointed when they get home." Young Allison whispered. "They probably won't know about it for a few days either. Most likely they'll blame it on the store or the manufacturer. They won't know it was an intentional act done by another individual for some unknown reason."

Cameron could see Young Allison was bothered by the female's actions. She didn't care for them either. She knew trouble when she saw it.

"I'm going to snap her neck." Cameron whispered. "She's clearly future Scavenger material."

Cameron started to move away.

Young Allison quickly grabbed her arm. She wasn't sure if it was an offense worthy of termination. It certainly didn't seem like the store was the right location to carry it out.

"I don't think this is the place to do it." Young Allison whispered.

Young Allison looked around for any security cameras. She noticed there were some mirrors up along the back of the store above them.

Cameron noticed where Young Allison looked.

"Some of those should be pieces of one way glass." Cameron whispered. "They would have store security, or the manager, look out through them from time to time. I don't think anyone is there at this time of the night. I doubt they even have store security during this time period. They certainly won't have surveillance cameras."

Young Allison could see the rude female was on the move. They remained where they were at until she went over to the next aisle. They carefully moved over to the next aisle to observe her.

"Now we know why there are security cameras and metal detectors everywhere." Young Allison whispered. "I don't believe she's doing it because she can't afford the products. I believe she's doing it because she can get away with it. It probably gives her some type of strange rush."

Cameron didn't know why some people did some things. Maybe it was like Young Allison said. It was because they could. No one was there to stop them. She believed the root of the problem stemmed from a deeper issue.

"Mental illness comes in many forms." Cameron whispered. "She's obviously afflicted with some version of it. One good thing about this time period is, they actually put people in institutions who are insane."

The girls moved over to the next aisle and looked around the corner. It was the aisle with medical supplies of various types including pills for various things.

The rude female looked at some different types of medicine. She took some adult strength painkillers. She picked up a bottle of children's medicine.

Young Allison saw enough. It was beyond theft and mischief at this point. It was at the point where someone could be injured severely or killed. Children weren't supposed to take adult strength aspirin under the age of twelve. It could damage their brain. She briefly wondered if it was what happened to the rude female. It didn't matter at this point. It was time to do something.

"That's it." Young Allison whispered. "I'm going to stop her."

It was Cameron's turn to stop Young Allison.

"Wait here." Cameron whispered. "I'll take care of this. There's a fire alarm near the door to the back part of the store. If you hear her scream, go ahead and pull it. I'll take the cart for now. I'll be back."

Cameron walked around the corner. She pushed the cart. She hadn't planned to run into the watermelons before in the other store. She did plan to run into something with this shopping cart.

The rude female turned her back towards the direction Cameron came from. She didn't put back the medicine she was tampering with. Cameron drove directly towards her and bumped her cart into the female's cart. It rolled into the female. She dropped the pills. They scattered on the floor.

The female looked upset.

"Watch it, you stupid Bitch." The female said.

Cameron disliked the rude female even more.

"Oops." Cameron said. "I didn't see you. Maybe you should have watched what you were doing instead of taking the lids off of the medicine inside of the store before you purchased them."

The rude female looked irate.

"Who do you think you are?" The female asked. "I should light you on fire."

Cameron walked right up to the female and stood directly in front of her. The female's back was to the shelves of medicine.

The female felt intimidated.

"What are you looking at?" The female asked.

Cameron moved her face closer to the rude female's face.

"I'm looking at you." Cameron said.

Cameron let her eyes turn blue, and then glow red, as she stared at the female.

The female tried to back away. She couldn't. She reached into her purse and came out with a knife. It had a price tag on it. She'd stolen it earlier and placed it in her purse.

Cameron reached over and pulled it from her hand.

The female could tell Cameron was very powerful.

"What are you?" The female asked.

Cameron smiled at the female.

"I'm your worst nightmare." Cameron said. "That's just for starters."

Cameron noticed the rude female's wallet came out of her purse when she'd tried to draw the knife. It opened up. She could see her driver's license.

"I know where you live." Cameron said. "I don't think the one 'L' was just a typo. I'll see you soon. Leave the store now, or I'll light you on fire. Don't ever come back here. Don't destroy merchandise, change prices, or switch containers. I'll be watching you."

The female jammed her wallet back in her purse and all but ran out of the store.

Cameron watched her to make sure she got into her car and left. She did.

Young Allison watched everything go down. She was glad Cameron didn't take it too far. She hadn't actually laid a hand on the rude female. She was pretty sure it would change. More than likely, when she was asleep tonight, Cameron would visit the residence of the rude female. She walked up to where the two shopping carts were. She looked at the floor.

"It looks like they're going to need a cleanup on aisle seven for more than one reason." Young Allison said.

Cameron looked at the ground and noticed the yellow liquid on the floor where the female had been standing when her eyes changed from brown, to blue, to red.

"Let me fix some of these items." Cameron said. "There's not much I can do about the cakes or the pills on the floor.

Cameron and Young Allison returned the items back to where they belong. There wasn't anything they could do about the liquid on the floor. They would report it when they left.

Young Allison finished her shopping.

"Do you have everything you want?" Cameron asked.

Young Allison didn't get too much. She looked up at the clock on the wall.

"I have enough for now." Young Allison said. "I don't want to overdo it on the first day. We haven't even been in the Valley for twenty four hours yet. It's been rather eventful so far."

Cameron tilted her head slightly. It often seemed to be the case when she went out. There was always a lot of negative interaction with humans. She didn't believe any of it was because of her either.

The cashier rang up the items one by one. She placed them into a paper bag.

Cameron mentioned there was some 'lemon juice' on the floor in the medicine aisle. The cashier looked over in the direction of the location.

"How bad is it?" The cashier asked.

Cameron noticed the cash drawer wasn't closed all the way.

"It's going to need a mop and some water." Cameron said.

The cashier went to talk into her microphone. It didn't work.

"Excuse me." The cashier said.

She went over into the next aisle to use the microphone there.

Cameron placed a ten dollar bill in the register drawer. It would cover the damage done to the cakes earlier, they would need to be thrown away. It would also cover the bottle of pills. It was more than double what everything would cost the store.

"Cleanup on aisle seven, please." The cashier said over the microphone.

Cameron carried the bag of groceries. She wanted to make sure there wasn't going to be a problem when they exited.

"Wait here for a moment before you come out." Cameron said.

Young Allison understood Cameron's concern.

"Do you think there'll be any trouble from Bitchzilla?" Young Alison asked.

Cameron had been hit by vehicles before. They did more damage to the vehicle than they did to her.

"No." Cameron said. "She's clearly unstable. Hopefully she'll talk about the teenage girl in the store whose eyes turned from brown, to blue, to glowing red."

Young Allison giggled.

"Those associated with her will already know she has a problem." Young Allison said. "When she tells the story, they'll know she's slipped over the edge."

Cameron exited the store with the bag of groceries and looked around. There was no sign of the female or her vehicle.

Young Allison followed her out.

"You can drive if you want." Cameron said.

They could hear the sound of several vehicles rapidly approaching. They were headed north on Mason Avenue. They passed by the store and made a right hand turn onto Lassen Street. They were now headed east.

Young Allison noticed it was an oddball collection of vehicles.

"Those don't exactly look like street racers." Young Allison said.

Cameron noticed something about all of the vehicles.

"They're not." Cameron said. "They all carried a large 'Citizens Band' antenna. I think they're going somewhere specific. I could see the faces of some of the occupants of the vehicles. They looked angry. I'll drive."

The girls quickly got into the panel truck. Cameron started it and pulled out onto Mason Avenue. She made the right hand turn at Lassen Street.

Young Allison thought about some of the activities involving the users of CB radios. She'd read about activity where there was some 'transmitter hunting' involved.

"Maybe they were 'T-hunting'." Young Allison said.

Cameron had the vehicles in sight. She was aware 'transmitter hunting', or 'T-hunting', was also known as fox hunting, bunny hunting, and bunny chasing.

Two more vehicles turned in front of them as they neared Corbin Avenue. The drivers looked just as animated as the other ones did.

"I don't think this is a standard case of 'T-hunting'." Cameron said.

Young Allison didn't know much about the activity.

"What exactly are they doing?" Young Allison asked.

Cameron was sure someone was doing something they shouldn't be doing.

"I think they're about to take some vigilante justice." Cameron said. "There's probably someone with a linear booster who is jamming the channels and spoiling the nightly 'T hunt'. I'm not sure if the individual figured out that finding the 'T' is what these people do."

Cameron closed up on the vehicles. There were six of them now. More than likely they'd already triangulated the source of the irritant. They were probably headed there now to tear down the antenna of the offender.

"Is anyone going to get hurt?" Young Allison asked.

Cameron knew situations could escalate rapidly when individuals were angry at each other.

"More than likely there will be." Cameron said.

Cameron and Young Allison continued to follow the irate 'T-hunters'.

Things Took Off Fast

Everything becomes a little clearer
When there's some form of contrast
It lets a couple know
If it's sunny or overcast

To always do things the same way
Will leave one typecast
It may also make things
Easier to predict and forecast

It's not too hard
To be mired in the past
It makes it more difficult to see
When one has been passed

Most people would rather win
Than come in last
The result of failure
Can leave one aghast

There can be joy for all
It can be quite a blast
Maybe it was all because
Things took off fast

Nobody
