Chapter 1551

Planned Ahead

John Henry found out some new information from CamNet. Steve, Tom, Dan and Frank were already on the way with trucks to remove the machinery.

"I see someone's planned ahead." John Henry said.

Summer smiled. She figured there were a couple of goals they could accomplish at the same time.

"Cameron and CamNet will want the machinery." Summer said. "It's a way to obtain it and keep it off the books. Besides, the price is right."

John Henry viewed the surveillance cameras and listened to the earlier conversation with the Grays. There were only four of them. They were about to start to rig the two buildings to blow up. It was time to act.

Summer was pleased they were going to act now. Her real concern was for Young Jesse.

Bob and Jim would go in from the front. Al and Ed would enter from the back. With the surveillance cameras in place, they would know where the Grays were at any given point in time.

Derek and Kyle wanted to be in on the operation. It was too late to bring them there. Bob decided he would act for Derek specifically.

"I want the manager." Bob said. "He's the one who tagged Derek."

Jim didn't think it mattered. He would represent Kyle. The Grays were all going to die.

"It shouldn't be a problem." Jim said. "The Grays will lose."

Bob would let Derek know later on what happened. Derek wanted to be there for the take down. The situation dictated otherwise. It was the 'Witching Hour' and things were about to happen.

Bob and Jim headed for the front door of the machine shop.

Steve led the procession of four trucks. They decided to split into two groups and take different routes to the machine shop so there weren't four trucks in a row. Tom stayed with him. Al and Ed took an alternate route. CamNet handled the traffic management for them. Both groups made all the lights.

They should arrive at the location shortly.

The Grays were about to head to the storage room to get the explosives out from where they were hidden.

"You guys get started." The manager said. "I need to collect a few things from the office."

The Grays grumbled and headed off towards where they were directed. The manager headed for his office.

"Those guys are all losers." The manager mumbled.

The manager entered the office area and flipped on the light. He looked around once. He thought he'd felt a draft. He was alone. He opened a small safe and took some things out of it and put them on the desk. He opened a file cabinet and removed a few things from it.

"That's everything." The manager muttered.

He looked alongside his desk and found a briefcase. He noticed something else. There were a set of boots and legs there now. They were covered with dirt. He'd never heard anyone enter.

"Can't you morons do anything on your own?" The manager asked as he looked up.

His eyes widened in fear. He went to scream. A large hand clamped around his throat and held the scream inside as he was lifted off of the ground.

"I've been waiting for you." Bob said. "I mean, for you to get what was important here so I didn't need to waste time to look for it myself."

The manager struggled.

Bob released his grip slightly.

The manager gasped out a few curse words. They were barely audible.

Bob wanted to make clear what the termination was specifically about. Normally he would have already terminated the manager.

"This is for trying to tag us." Bob said. "My associate sends his regards."

Bob snapped the man's neck. He dropped the lifeless Gray to the ground. He would collect the items the manager took out earlier after everyone was terminated, and the building was secure. There was no hurry in the office area anymore.

The three Grays were about to enter the storeroom.

"Over here." The 'manager' said.

The three Grays looked over in the direction the voice came from.

"Now what's this guy want?" The first Gray asked.

"He probably wants one of us to hold his hand." The second Gray said.

"I'm out if it's for anything weird or personal." The first Gray said.

The Grays all quickly looked at each other. It didn't seem anyone wanted a non-traditional job.

The three Grays walked over to where they'd heard the voice.

"I thought the office was the other way." The third Gray said.

When they came around the corner there was a large man standing there. They froze when they saw he held a silenced pistol and it was pointed at them.

The third Gray turned to run. It prompted the second Gray to do the same thing. They were surprised to find two other large men there behind them. They didn't even have time to wonder where they came from.

The Grays were all grabbed by Bob, Al and Ed.

The third Gray was a little surprised he didn't see a 'Metal Bitch' with the three Terminators. He wondered if maybe she was a cross dresser before the darkness overcame him.

Jim joined them a few seconds later. He'd gone to the welding shop next door to check it out. It was where he was at earlier with Kyle. Everything looked the same to him. He didn't notice any changes.

"Everything is secure in the other building." Jim said.

Bob helped secure and bind the three prisoners. They were physically separated after they were searched. They would be questioned one at a time until they were terminated.

He returned to the office area and collected the papers along with the manager's phone.

Al and Ed began to disconnect the machinery they would take. There was one forklift in each building. They would need both of them.

Jim returned to the welding shop to get the equipment there ready for transport. The large roll up doors, on the back of each building, were opened as well as the gates.

Steve and Tom arrived a few minutes later. Steve backed up to the rear opening of the machine shop door. Tom backed up off to the side, next to him.

Two minutes later Dan and Frank arrived. Dan backed up to the welding shop door. Frank parked next to Tom. Most of what was to be removed would be from the machine shop.

The equipment was all brand new and only looked like it had been tested.

Bob slapped the first Gray a few times to bring him around. He started to question him.

The first Gray answered with threats and curses.

Bob snapped his neck and moved on to the second Gray.

The second Gray answered with threats and curses.

Bob snapped his neck and moved on to the third Gray.

He wasn't in the mood for games. He wanted answers. They'd heard the discussion about where the men were going to go next. It was where the manager's associate was currently headed. They'd refer to it as their headquarters or HQ.

Cam entered the second building. She saw the arrangement was a little different than the first building.

"I think there may be HK equipment in here." Cam whispered. "I hope none of it is active."

She made her way out into the main part of the building. She found what appeared to be some subassemblies of HK Tracks. She looked further. There were more military vehicles and miscellaneous parts for HK Tracks.

"I found a number of sub assemblies for HK Tracks." Cam said. "None of them have been completed. It looks like some of the sub assemblies weren't delivered, or are in another building. None of them are assembled."

Cam looked around further. There were some crates marked as 'Toys'. She pulled the top off of one. She wasn't surprised at what she'd found.

"I found some HK drone power plants in crates." Cam said. "I'm not sure why everything is incomplete or not put together."

She unlatched the roll up door as she'd done on the other building, but didn't open it. All the doors were wired.

Cam went back up the ladder and exited from the top of the building. She dropped down the same way as before.

Samantha waited for her. She'd taken the opportunity to scout around the area to look for any potential threats. She found one.

"I found another trip wire." Samantha said. "It looks active or was at least recently reset. It's on the approach to the third building."

Cam knew the third building was probably the one which held Grays. She wanted to check the rest of the outbuildings before they approached what they believed was the central target.

"I want to cross the street and check the fourth building first." Cam said.

Young Allison thought about why there were only sub assemblies for the various types of HK equipment.

"I bet those are sub assemblies from places we took down already." Young Allison said. "They ended up there to be stored because they couldn't be delivered. We always figured there were Grays who'd gotten away before."

Anna thought it sounded plausible. They never knew the extent of what they faced for sure.

"It may be so." Anna said. "We did disrupt several assembly lines, and some of the places where the sub assemblies were fabricated to begin with."

They turned their attention to Young Jesse and Gail. It was where the next action would take place. It would happen very soon.

Young Jesse and Gail watched the two vehicles approach.

Gail calculated her targets as they approached.

"I can take all five of the Grays in less than four seconds." Gail said. "That's if they're all upright in their seats."

Young Jesse knew Gail held the advantage for quick precision shooting, especially in the dark. The cars should drift off to the sides of the road or into the ravine on the far side. It would be her job to make sure nothing happened around them or behind them.

"I'll cover you." Young Jesse said.

Gail was in position and ready to shoot with her suppressed M4.

The first car was almost even with her. The second one wasn't far behind.

She fired her first two shots at the lead car. She moved her M4 to the second car.

There were two suppressed shots from behind her. There were three more. She fired on the next three targets in the second vehicle and started to turn around.

"There's someone behind us." Young Jesse said.

There were fifteen suppressed shots fired on full auto before Gail was able to fully turn around.

Moments ago:

"I'll cover you." Young Jesse said.

She checked around them as Gail got ready to shoot. She caught sight of something near the old pump station. It was a shadow that moved. She wasn't sure what it was. She saw it again as she heard Gail start to take down her targets.

She fired on the shadow twice. There was another one behind it. She fired three more times. There were more behind that one. She flipped the selector to 'auto' and fired half of her magazine.

"There's someone behind us." Young Jesse said.

Gail spun around.

"Get down." Gail whispered.

Young Jesse was already down. She got a little lower.

"Stay down." Young Allison said through their coms. "There's 'metal hail' on the way. It's 'danger close'."

Gail took a quick look around and shielded Young Jesse with her chassis.

Seven seconds had passed since Young Jesse told Gail she would cover her.

Seconds ago:

In the Young bunker they watched and waited for Gail to take down the two cars.

"I'll cover you." Young Jesse said.

Anna received a drone warning. It fired from altitude at the old pump station.

They watched as Gail fired in front of them and Young Jesse fired behind them. It all happened in the same second.

"A drone spotted movement." Anna said. "It's behind Young Jesse and Gail. CamNet has already engaged the target with a gravity shot."

"There's someone behind us." Young Jesse said.

"Get down." Gail whispered.

Young Allison sent out the warning directly. She didn't want either of the girls to get hit with a ricochet. It was always a possibility.

"Stay down." Young Allison said. "There's 'metal hail' on the way. It's 'danger close'."

John Henry and Summer were caught off guard too.

There'd been no indication of anyone around Gail or Young Jesse.

They heard the exchange and the reaction.

Summer could only think of one location where the threat emanated from.

"Fire on the abandoned pump house, they must have come from there." Summer said.

Before John Henry could act, 'Coltan Overcast' opened up with its minigun. It was the first drone to respond. Its projectiles impacted two seconds before the 'metal hail' began to blanket the area.

Young Jesse watched as the pump house was ripped into splinters. There was a scream. The sound of a distant minigun could be heard. It wasn't a 'gravity shot'. A few seconds later she could hear impacts and some ricochets in the area of the pump house. Gail pressed her firmly down into the damp grass.

There was the dull crunching sound of metal from the road behind them. The two cars impacted as they coasted under no control from the two dead men.

No more than ten seconds had passed from when the first shot was fired at the two cars.

Young Jesse felt it was like ten minutes. Her heart pumped rapidly and adrenaline surged through her. She knew her position was compromised.

"We need to move." Young Jesse said. "They'll have seen the flash from my M4."

Gail rolled sideways in front of her.

"Go over the knoll behind us." Gail said. "I'll join you."

Young Jesse slid over the knoll and off to the left side by twenty feet once she was over. She ejected her half used magazine and replaced it with a full one. She didn't need to recharge the weapon because there was still around in the chamber. She realized Gail used her chassis to cover her. Gail joined her a few seconds later.

They could hear more 'metal hail' impact near where they were a short time ago.

John Henry looked over the drone images.

"Those people came out of the abandoned pump house." John Henry said.

Summer looked at the images as well.

"They were armed." Summer said. "I think Young Jesse took down the first three. She at least hit them."

John Henry wasn't sure who they were.

"The minigun from 'Coltan Overcast' finished the job. The 'metal hail' was the icing on the cake." John Henry said. "I make it as seven down."

Summer was worried if the minigun was heard where Cam and Samantha were at. Young Jesse and Gail previously moved two miles away from their position to interdict the two vehicles in the safest location available to them.

"Was Cam's team compromised?" Summer asked.

Cam and Samantha were outside the forth building when they detected the minigun fire in the distance. They followed what went down through their coms.

"Only a Terminator could have heard the minigun." Cam said. "I barely heard it outside. I don't think anyone inside the hill could have detected it."

Samantha looked at the third and fourth building.

"There is no visible change in the last two buildings." Samantha said. "Who was the other group?"

Gail and Young Jesse looked all around them. They checked the two cars of Grays. One was on its side in a ravine. The engine was still running. Gail turned it off. The other one was stuck in some soft mud next to the road.

They checked the drone scans. The seven people who'd come out of the pump house, were still in the remains of it. They were all dead.

Young Jesse was a little concerned about who she'd taken down. The way they appeared, from seemingly nowhere, is what she thought was the biggest threat. They were very near where they were at when she'd spotted them.

"Who were those whackers?" Young Jesse asked. "I know they weren't backpackers or naturalists at this time."

Gail led her back to where they were at. Drones made multiple scans of the area previously. There was no one detected before.

"It's what we're going to try and find out." Gail said. "They'd avoided detection until you spotted them. They must have been underground. They didn't show up on any scans previously."

Young Jesse could see the bodies were mangled from multiple bullet wounds.

"They're a real mess." Young Jesse said.

Gail kicked two of them out of the way to check the remains of the pump house. She moved some splintered wood out of the way.

"I think they were in this cistern." Gail said. "It was how they avoided detection."

Young Jesse wasn't so sure. Maybe there were surveillance cameras they didn't know about. Maybe what they'd found was all an elaborate LP. Maybe it was another group. She knew there were different groups of Grays, including the Fanatics.

"How did they show up right when we were here?" Young Jesse asked. "We need to see if the cistern is connected to a tunnel or something. We don't know for sure if we're being watched or not."

Gail looked around them. If they were being watched, Cam and Samantha were in danger. They were too.

Earlier:

Vanna was worried she'd neglected Precious. She hurried across the intersection and slipped into the nursery. She looked behind her as she entered to see if Ally or John saw her. They didn't. She turned around and was more than a little surprised at what she saw going on.

Riley's head lifted from Hanna's sheath. It was clear what she'd just done. Hanna didn't make a move to cover anything up.

It seemed to take a moment for everything to click in Vanna's head.

"I'm sorry." Vanna said as she turned to quickly leave.

Hanna didn't think it was a problem. It seemed more like an opportunity.

"Wait." Hanna said.

Riley quickly moved away from Hanna. They both closed their robes.

"It's fine." Vanna said. "I didn't see anything."

Riley and Hanna both knew she had.

Vanna didn't think it was a big deal, or her business.

Riley tried to offer an explanation.

"I just wanted to try 'something' I like to do." Riley said. "Derek said it was OK with him as long as it was with females."

Vanna was excited by the thought. She went over and locked the door to Riley's room. She picked Precious up from the crib in the nursery and held her. She sat in the chair with her back mostly to Hanna and Riley.

"Go ahead and finish up." Vanna said. "It's no big deal really. All girls need a few secrets."

Vanna thought back on all the times she wanted to be with Riley. She never was because she didn't want to 'hurt' Cameron. It all seemed to be behind Cameron at this point as to what all went on during the cruise and now.

Riley was taken by surprise.

"Are you going to watch us if we do?" Riley asked.

Vanna was excited already. The thought excited her even more.

"If you don't mind, I'd like to." Vanna said.

Hanna was up for it. The 'Vanna' in her wanted 'more'.

"I'm good with it." Hanna said.

Riley was too.

"Hell, yes." Riley said.

Hanna thought she could 'push' Vanna a little.

"Maybe we can switch off with Riley at some point." Hanna said. "She could compare us then."

The thought seemed to excite the three of them a little more.

Riley hoped to take things even a little further. It was another dream come true. She really hoped to get some more out of it.

"Or we can do a three way." Riley said. "I'd really like it. One on one works too."

Vanna swallowed hard. She was totally on board for it. Riley was a 'new' person for her in bed. She lightly moistened her lips in anticipation. She was always up for a new adventure, especially when it was someone 'new', even if they were known for a long time.

"We'll see." Vanna said.

Riley really wanted to compare Hanna and Vanna, side by side, after Hanna's statement. She wanted to see how 'exactly alike' they really were. She wanted to see if there was any difference between a human, and those on a Terminator, in certain areas.

Ally was just with John a few minutes ago. She passed by the nursery and could hear there was some action happening in there. She moved on and ended up at Vanna's room. Vanna was out. She was sure she was with Hanna in the nursery. It's what it sounded like. She was pleased Allison was there alone. She took off her clothes and climbed into bed.

Allison opened her eyes and looked at 'herself'.

She moved her head closer. Ally kissed her. She touched Ally and felt she was naked. The implication was clearly there.

Things took off fast.

Allison was always pleased to be with 'herself'. She turned on the light next to the bed. She liked to see what others saw when they were with her.

Ally thought she'd better warn Allison she'd been with John a short time ago. She wasn't with Sheila or Jesse right now.

"I just came from John's room…." Ally said.

Allison needed to think about it for a second.

"Do you mean you…." Allison started.

Ally smiled.

"Yes." Ally said. "It was wonderful. It was my first time. We took a shower together afterwards."

Allison thought about it and shrugged her shoulders. A shower generally only tended to take care of the outside of things. She didn't think it would be a big deal. Ally said she'd showered.

"I'm game." Allison said.

The girls continued along. They both finished a few times before Allison needed to rest.

"Did you see Vanna anywhere?" Allison asked

Ally didn't want to get specific.

"She was with Hanna in the nursery when I passed by on my way here." Ally said. "I'm still a little self conscious about earlier."

Allison smiled and gave Ally a kiss.

"Don't worry about it." Allison said. "Everything worked out fine."

Ally still hoped for a little more. She'd told John she'd like to come back with someone else.

"Maybe after you rest some, we can go to John's room together." Ally said.

Allison liked the idea. She wanted to make her preference known.

"OK." Allison said. "I get him first though."

Ally understood why.

"It will be a reverse replay of what just happened then." Ally said.

Allison giggled.

"I know." Allison said.

It seemed to excite both of them as they shared again.

John was beat. He was going to go back to the Command Center but decided to rest for a few minutes instead. He just needed a few minutes to rest….

The girls on the jet all finished up and were back to where they'd started. Everyone was with everyone else at some point.

It was clear Mary, Laura and Leticia all had a lot of questions. To see Jesse and Sheila together, only seemed to make them have more questions. It was clear at this point they'd all figured the report Laura read on the internet was correct.

They really didn't know what to believe.

Sheila only confirmed she was 'different' to Leticia. It was mainly to see if Leticia would still love her for who and what she really was. With Jesse at her side, Leticia had a definitive choice of the 'same thing'. One was clearly human, one was not. Leticia still chose her. It actually made her feel good about herself. It wasn't something she normally felt. Maybe it was why she did some of the things she did at times. She needed to express herself.

Claire wondered where everything was headed. She was thrilled to be with three Hot young ladies, especially with their jewelry.

"Where does this go from here?" Claire asked.

Cammy wasn't sure. She knew there were certain boundaries she couldn't cross on her own. It would be up to Cameron as to if, or when, those boundaries were crossed.

"I really don't know." Cammy said. "I don't think Cameron will want them to visit the base. It was why I asked John to be brought here to them."

Claire wondered about it. She didn't think she could compete with them in bed. They were Hot and dynamite. They were young too.

"Was he with all of them?" Claire asked.

Cammy was glad she'd help orchestrate all of this. She wanted what was due her and she wanted to 'punish' Cameron for taking Savannah away from her.

"Yes, except Holly." Cammy said. "Everyone, including myself, wants more too. It was our first time too for Sheila, Camille and me."

Claire knew she would need to be back at the base before too long. She didn't want to set a bad example for her daughters….

Maybe it was a little late to worry about it.

The Terminator continued on his way back to his SUV. CamNet already provided him with a new target location.

There was a Resistance operation which continued to grow in scope.

The situation involving CamNet's two female Terminators also seemed to be escalating.

He reached the SUV without further incident. So far there hadn't been any new developments at the building he'd left earlier where he taken the Coltan and the box truck.

He was directed to an area away from where the Resistance operation seemed to unfold. It appeared as if they were going to need all of their Terminators around the operations they were already involved with. He would be able to prevent any of them from being pulled away from their current duties.

The Terminator arrived near the location. It was a large building. It was located at the end of a rail siding. There was a loading dock along the siding. The tail end of the siding entered the building. The drone with him went ahead to scout the location further. It stayed out of Terminator hearing range. It was unable to give him any close in scans of the building itself.

He parked a half mile away and followed the railroad tracks. The signal on the railroad tracks indicated a green light in the direction he was going. The one light he could see in the direction behind him was red. It indicated a train was on its way. It shouldn't be associated with what he currently dealt with.

He was provided with plans for the building at the time of its construction. Like many of the buildings they'd been to, there were probably unauthorized changes made to the interior. Past satellite images taken during the day time we're unable to locate anything specific as far as external security. The drone's scans were unable to determine anything conclusive either. They would need to go lower.

The drone alerted him to the fact a train was approaching from behind him. He could either run to try to get to the siding before it arrived so he wasn't spotted, or take cover. He determined he wanted to approach as stealthily as possible. He decided to move next to the eucalyptus trees along the south side of the railroad track.

The Terminator heard the train blow its horn for a crossing in the distance. In a minute, the train was almost to his location. There were three locomotives on the point. It was a double stack container train. It passed by in a very short time. He waited a moment until after it passed and looked around to see if there was anyone else around. He didn't know if they were hidden and the train would have disturbed them. He didn't see any other movement, nor did the drone pick any up. He continued his trek along the tracks.

There was a small concrete flood control channel which the siding crossed over to reach the building. There was a gate on the other side of the small bridge which crossed it. He approached the switch for the siding. He took a moment to study the rails. They were mostly rusty. It indicated there hadn't been any recent rail activity.

He followed the siding across the short bridge over the flood control channel. He arrived at the gate and studied it for a moment. There was no indication it was wired for security. He didn't want to break the lock in case anyone else came along the tracks. He was able to scramble over it very quickly.

The Terminator moved off of the rail siding. He followed a parallel route next to it. He used his enhanced vision to search for any security cameras. He believed he'd spotted two of them.

The security chief came around the corner with the RPG ready to fire. The HK Track was sitting there. It was waiting for him. The HK Track was angled slightly away from him. It picked the wrong approach it thought he would take. It started to turn as soon as he came around the side of it. He was a little closer than he would have liked to have been. He needed to act anyway.

He pulled the trigger on the RPG. The grenade 'whooshed' away from the launcher. He hoped there was enough distance for it to arm. He rapidly turned around to go back from where he'd come to get a little bit of cover.

The armor piercing grenade hit the HK Track and exploded. The HK Track still continued to turn.

Damn!

The minigun opened fire on the position where he'd been less than a second ago. He continued to move back away from where he was at. What he could hear was what sounded like sparks, or some type of electrical discharge, from where the HK Track was at. He could still hear it moving. There was a grinding noise associated with it now. He didn't destroy it, but he'd definitely damaged it in some fashion.

Security chief took out a second armor piercing grenade and loaded it into the launcher. He thought he caught a glimpse of someone near him for a second. He looked again but didn't see them. He hoped if the HK Track continued to where he was earlier, it would find them instead of him. He still needed to worry about what he believed were some female Terminators inside of the building. It occurred to him they may not be in the building any longer. It could have been them who took the big rigs once they started to experience difficulties from the spatial portal. He could still hear a lot of noise from the area where it was located.

The grinding noise was very loud as the HK Track moved. It actually made it harder to determine exactly where it was at.

There was some gunfire behind him. He didn't think it was directed at him. It could have been. He didn't hear any impacts or ricochets. Most importantly, he didn't feel anything either.

The security chief believed the HK Track went towards the sound of the gun fire. He couldn't easily hold the RPG and his pistol. He decided to stick with the RPG.

The female Fanatic and Jill moved in pursuit of the Gray with the RPG. They needed to use caution to be able to get a good shot at him. They didn't want him to turn and fire the RPG at them.

Jill thought she spotted a figure off to the side. She quickly touched Jackie's arm and pointed.

The female Fanatic wanted to move closer to the Gray. She quickly looked in the direction Jill indicated. She spotted movement as well. There were at least two Grays there with them. If she continued her pursuit of the Gray with the RPG, the other Grey would see their position.

"We need to wait here for a moment." The female Fanatic whispered.

A few seconds later, they heard the RPG fire and saw the Gray who fired it come back around the corner where he'd gone. They moved further back into the shadows. There was a minigun fire at the same time. Some of the bullets ricocheted near where they were at. They need to fall back further.

They lost sight of the Gray with the RPG. It sounded to them as if he'd damaged the HK Track.

The other Gray passed by along the side of them. He looked over towards where the other Gray had gone. He glanced over in their direction and lifted his weapon.

The female Fanatic didn't wait to see what he was going to do. She didn't think he could tell they were females in the dim lighting. It was possible he'd spotted them earlier and tracked them. She wasn't going to chance it. She fired her Beretta several times and hit him. He dropped to the ground. They quickly moved from the position they were at. They didn't want the other Gray to fire the RPG at them.

It sounded as if the HK Track was coming closer to where they were at. They were unsure If it was damaged or not. If it was, it may not recognize them. It might think they were targets as well.

The female Fanatic and Jill spotted the HK Track. There were sparks and smoke coming out of it. It was still able to move, even if there was a terrible grinding noise.

Lena and Tina were out of the compound with the two big rigs they'd captured. They wanted to get out of the Skynet jamming field. They were going to call in a drone strike on the disabled HK Track by the spatial portal.

Once they were a quarter of a mile outside of the compound, communications were restored. They both pulled over and stopped. They quickly informed CamNet about what was going on inside of the building. They were no longer in the building itself, so it was a target. They recommended she target the location of the stranded HK Track. There was no way to know where the second one was currently at. Once the first HK Track was destroyed, they might be able to determine where it was at.

They were informed a missile was dropped as a gravity bomb over the location the stuck HK Track was last reported to be. They both spotted the projectile moments before it impacted the roof. There was an immediate explosion. They were informed a second one was on its way. It was a few seconds behind it.

There was an explosion inside of the building. It wasn't the explosion they hoped for. They were informed another drone was in position. Another missile was dropped as a gravity bomb. The missiles needed to be dropped like gravity bombs because the Skynet jamming field would disrupt their targeting if they were fired as a missile.

There was a bright flash of light from the location where the first and second missile impacted. They believed it was from the spatial portal. They didn't feel any negative energy effect from it. They might be far enough away, for now.

The third missile dropped through the burning hole in the roof. There was another explosion. It was followed moments later by the entire side of the building being blown apart. The HK Track's power cell had ruptured. Due to the damage done to the building, it appeared the deactivated Terminator's power cell may have exploded as well. It could have been some effects from the spatial portal too. There was no way to know from where they were at.

The Skynet jamming field went out when the massive explosion occurred. The drones moved down a little lower to see if they picked up any energy from the spatial portal. Currently none was detected. It didn't mean there wasn't any. They'd experienced the other spatial portal opening on its own in a very negative fashion on the previous encounter.

Lena and Tina were directed to park the trucks off to the side and approach the building on foot.

Cameron and Young Allison continued to follow the irate 'T-hunters'.

Young Allison was a little concerned about their own safety.

"How involved in the situation are we going to be?" Young Allison asked.

Cameron didn't know what would happen yet.

"I might be able to prevent some violence." Cameron said.

Young Allison thought Cameron usually perpetrated the violence. She wondered if there was some other motive for her concern.

Cameron continued to check their location with street maps and satellite images in her files. It soon became apparent the 'T-hunters' were going to head down a cul-de-sac. It meant they'd need to come back out the same way they went in.

She currently drove without her lights on. She put the panel truck into neutral and let it coast it over towards the curb. She used the parking brake to stop it. She turned off the ignition.

It appeared the angry group realized the nature of the situation. They congregated at the street corner before the cul-de-sac. Two other vehicles joined them from the other direction. Cameron really would have liked to have possessed an eye in the sky in the form of a drone. There were none available in the time period. There were satellites in orbit, but she had no way of accessing them unless she was on site at a facility which control them.

Young Allison could make out the group up ahead. She was unable to hear anything. She wasn't sure if Cameron could or not.

"What are their plans?" Young Allison asked.

Cameron could hear their plans were pretty extreme.

"Two of the individuals want to burn down the house of the perpetrator." Cameron said. "The individual with the truck has some gasoline in some cans in the back of it. Another individual has some milk bottles in the back of his trunk."

The mention of milk bottles caught Young Allison in by surprise. It took her a moment to remember many families used to receive milk in bottles. Some of them even had it delivered fresh to their home a few days a week. There were also delivery trucks from such organizations as Helms Bakery who would deliver a variety of bread products and snacks as well. Things had certainly changed over the years.

"I think making Molotov cocktails sounds a little extreme." Young Allison said.

Cameron was aware of the fanatical behavior of some individuals.

"Some people take their hobby or sport very seriously." Cameron said. "The rest of the group just wants to rip down the antenna at the perpetrators residence."

It still seemed pretty extreme to Young Allison. She realized in more modern times, it would probably result in a drive by shooting of some type.

"What happens if the perpetrator doesn't want to have their antenna ripped down by an angry mob?" Young Allison asked.

Cameron was aware there was a point where situations got out of control.

"I guess we're going to find out." Cameron said.

Young Allison looked ahead and saw the group turn down the cul-de-sac. Only two of the cars went. It was the truck and a station wagon. All of the individuals were in the two vehicles. She remembered it was the truck which carried the gasoline. More than likely, they possessed some rope as well. He would probably use the truck to pull down the antenna, if not burn down the house. If things escalated, it would probably be both.

"Let's get closer." Young Allison said. "It's going down now."

Cameron moved up towards the cul-de-sac. She continued to drive without her headlights. She checked the vehicles parked at the mouth of the street. They were all unattended. She didn't see the need to disable any of them at this time.

As they approached, they could hear one of the vehicles with a PA system. The public address system was very loud. They instructed the perpetrator to come out and answer for their infraction. They said if they didn't they were going to pull, down the antenna and burn the house.

They were parked down two houses from the incident as it unfolded. They could see what appeared to be one of the individuals in the back of the truck pouring gasoline into one of the milk bottles.

Several other individuals had emerged from the station wagon, as well as those in the back of the truck. They carried some rope. It appeared they were going to carry out their threat.

The front door of the perpetrators' residents opened. An individual emerged carrying a rifle.

"Take off now or die." The individual said.

There were a series of cuss words exchanged between both of the groups.

Young Allison looked at the firearm.

"It looks like he has an M1 Rifle." Young Allison said. "It only holds eight rounds."

Cameron thought it would be enough for the situation if she held the firearm.

"I don't think the mob intended to run into an armed individual." Cameron said. "They probably thought it was someone younger, probably an adolescent. The man appears to be in his mid twenties."

Several of the mob were on the lawn of the residence. One of them held a rope. He appeared to be the leader.

There was a long exchange as to why they were there and what they were going to do to prevent it from happening in the future.

The group started to move forward.

The individual with the rifle pointed it in the leader's general direction.

"I've been itching to kill someone, it might just as well be you." The individual said. "It's up to you."

The leader of the group paused where he was at.

"You can't get all of us." The leader said.

The individual indicated he carried a pistol as well.

"Maybe not, but I'm going to start with you." The individual said. "Are you ready to go first? Do you feel lucky? Well do you, boy?"

Several of the group had retreated back to the station wagon. It was clear the confrontation was a little more than they were up for.

The leader could see he'd lost half of the group.

The armed individual felt emboldened. He lifted the rifle to his shoulder and advance towards the leader.

"Get off my lawn." The individual said.

Cameron and Young Allison thought it was going to progress a little further.

Only one of the group remained with the leader.

"It better not happen again." The leader said. "If it does, we'll be back with guns as well."

Cameron and Young Allison weren't sure the situation was actually deescalating.

Planned Ahead

When the water starts to rise
Will one be able to tread
When it comes to sink or swim
They might end up dead

Those who are more intelligent
May have already fled
What the future has to offer
Is bound to cause some dread

Sometimes the rope offered
Is little more than a thread
Maybe it's time to look
For another route instead

It doesn't take too much
To see everything in red
It all becomes much clearer
When what's between the lines is read

One must avoid the problem
Of being too thinly spread
Things play out a little smoother
For those who've planned ahead

Nobody
