Chapter 1554
It's What I Wanted
John was outside of his room as Holly approached. There was a lot of sheath showing on her nearly wide open top.
"Hi, John." Holly said. "I didn't know you were up this late, or I guess at this point, this early."
John took in the cleavage of her nearly exposed breasts. Her new jewelry was clearly visible through the stretched material.
'Does it get any hotter than this?' John wondered.
John figured he'd better say something plausible.
"I was about to check on operations." John said.
Holly didn't want him to do it. She wanted what was owed to her.
"I think everything is under control there." Holly said.
She didn't want to mention Young Allison and Summer were all over the current operation with John Henry, Anna and CamNet.
John figured he'd better do something quick before she felt awkward and left. He sure felt awkward now himself.
"Do you have some free time?" John asked.
He thought it sounded totally lame as soon as he said it.
Holly believed this was her chance. She wanted something very special. She moved closer to him.
"Yes…." Holly said.
Their eyes locked onto each other's eyes. It was clear they both wanted the same thing. They'd wanted the same thing for the fifteen months Cameron, Duplicate Cameron, 'hid' on Holly's chip.
John wanted to make his intentions clear. He figured he might just as well say it. Either she would come into the room, or he would go back to bed.
"I'd like to be with you, Holly." John said.
IT was what Holly wanted to hear.
"I'd like it too." Holly said.
Holly gave John a small kiss.
"I want everything…." Holly whispered in his ear.
John swallowed hard. IT was what he wanted to hear.
He moved closer to the door and Holly followed him. He stopped right before he entered. He looked at Holly and she smiled.
John leaned over and scooped Holly up in his arms. Her left arm clung tightly to his back as he carried her through the doorway. Holly pushed the door closed as they passed it.
The symbolic act made Holly feel special. The others who'd been there before her, and would be here after her, didn't matter. Only this mattered right now. She was very pleased with the way events began to play out.
"It's what I wanted, just like this." Holly whispered in his ear. "Thank you."
John felt a little uneasy since he'd done this same thing for just about all of the girls at some point, in some way.
He set her down next to the bed. It was in disarray. He quickly pulled the sheet and cover up and then folded it back. He didn't mention he'd been with someone else earlier, a few of them actually….
Holly lifted his hands to her top and he undid the only two buttons which were still hooked. He was rewarded with what popped out of the confines of her top.
'Wow!' John thought. 'LOOK at those things!'
Her new jewelry was the icing on the cake of her voluptuous breasts.
She slipped her top all the way off and let it fall to the floor. She lifted his hands to where she knew they wanted to be. John kneaded her breasts deeply as they kissed.
John took in the sheer size and beauty of Holly's breasts.
"You have the most beautiful breasts." John whispered. "I love the new jewelry."
Holly smiled and moved his hands down to her pants. She wanted to give John something to think about.
"I did it just for you, John." Holly whispered. "I know what you like."
She knew everything John liked from the fifteen months she 'watched over him' while Cameron was stuck in time.
John was already ready, now he was ready even more.
Her pants slid down her legs and she stepped out of them. She pushed her shoes off at the same time. She wore only her panties, her jewelry and a smile. She looked beautiful.
Holly quickly stripped John down to his underwear and removed them.
"Oh my, that's a big one." Holly said.
John pulled her underwear down and off. They stood naked before each other.
They both looked at each other with hungry eyes.
Young Allison wanted the drones to do a close in scan. She wanted to make sure there weren't any surprises which may have developed anywhere. Nothing much changed since the last done scan.
Anna set things up for a gravity shot for the entirety of the third building. Three drones were set to fire from five thousand feet. The projectiles would arrive almost silently, but with more force than 'metal hail'.
The Metal girls on the 727 gathered in the rear galley section and main hallway. They were all ready to go. They would all use black ram-air canopies of the rectangular type. It would give them more control for their descent and landing.
They could all feel the jet slow. The jet dropped down to seven thousand feet. There was a slight wind from the north and the girls would glide two miles over to the target area from the tract of the jet. It was decided to keep the jet out of the immediate target area with the other girls on board.
They were notified they were five minutes from the drop zone. Camille and Sheila would go first. Cammy, Ally and Hanna would follow a few seconds later. There would be three drop zones.
Cammy opened the rear door when they were at seven thousand feet. There was a slight pressure change, and a lot more noise. She lowered the airstair. They could hear the flaps and landing gear extend for maximum stability of the plane at its reduced speed. It was configured for a landing approach with the addition of the extra drag of the lowered airstair. It really was an 'air stair' at this point.
"Two minutes." Cammy said.
Sheila blew Leticia a kiss and went out. Camille followed her. They went down the airstair part way. They were ready to jump.
Jesse needed to calm Leticia down some. Leticia was worried to death about Sheila and the other 'special girls'. When she saw them exit the rear door she was even more nervous.
Allison calmed Mary and Vanna did the same for Laura. This was the first time for them to see any Terminators jump into the target zone. They were even more surprised to learn Cameron led a similar expedition when they were on the ship and docked in San Francisco. It turned out Sheila, Ally and Hanna all did this before less than a week ago. They'd only learned of the event a short time ago. The Metal girls hadn't told them earlier because they didn't want them to worry about something which was already done.
Cammy instructed Jesse how to raise the airstair and secure the rear door. She led Ally and Hanna out. They positioned themselves behind Camille and Sheila. The girls all crowded around the rear door to watch.
Sheila got the signal to go and they jumped. Camille and Sheila were gone. They disappeared instantly into the darkness. Cammy led the trio down further and they were gone a few seconds later.
They all stared at the empty airstair as Jesse retracted it. She closed the rear door and secured it. The noise level dropped dramatically. They could all hear and feel the jet pick up speed.
"Did it really all just happen?" Laura asked.
They all knew it did. It was clear the girls were all a little worried.
Jesse figured the best way to calm the girl's nerves was to 'get them off'. A few hard finishes seemed to clear the mind. It certainly made everything else not matter for those special moments.
"They'll be fine." Jesse said.
Allison wanted to make it clear it was routine for them
"It's what they do." Allison said.
Vanna knew the ability of the Metal girls was well honed.
"They're all skilled fighters." Vanna said.
Mary, Laura and Leticia all wondered if the three girls there with them were from the future.
Leticia looked at them one by one. She asked what everyone wanted to know.
"Did you all do this in the future?" Leticia asked.
Allison and Vanna looked at each other. It seemed the new girls knew a lot. They didn't want to get specific.
"We've all fought for our lives before." Allison said.
Vanna thought the future was a horrible place. Other things happened there too.
"Where we came from was a terrible place." Vanna said. "A lot of bad things happened to us and everyone else too."
Mary wanted to know more. The girls didn't really answer the question.
"Did you need to kill?" Mary asked.
There was no hesitation for the girls from the future when it came to reality.
"Yes." The three girls all replied.
Jesse thought of some of the evil things she'd done.
"For some of us it's been more than others." Jesse said.
They knew the 'special girls' were patterned after these three girls. They were the real deal.
Mary, Laura and Leticia knew how aggressive and violent Sheila was. By Jesse statement, they understood she was the same way. She was the same as Sheila was in bed too. It all made things a lot clearer. The girls wondered where they were going to go next.
"Where does this go from here?" Laura asked.
Vanna held Laura's hand.
"I was kind of hoping to one of the bedrooms." Vanna said.
Mary was a little taken aback.
"Really?" Mary asked.
Allison held Mary's hand.
"Really, I hoped for the same thing." Allison said. "It's the best stress reliever. It's an escape from reality."
Allison looked at Vanna and thought of all the times they pleasured each other at night after a brutal day. Sometimes it seemed like the only thing to live for.
Jesse kissed Leticia.
"I have the cure for everything here." Jesse said. "You four can use the two rooms. Leticia and I will use the lounge area. We can switch off every so often."
Mary was still a little worried about everything.
"Where's the jet going to go now?" Mary asked.
Cammy told the Resistance girls a few extra details.
"It will fly around for a while and then land at a local airport. It's a small one, but the plane can land there. This aircraft was designed to operate from smaller airfields. We'll pick up the rest of the team there when they're finished."
Laura still found this all hard to believe. The 'special girls' just left.
"When will it be?" Laura asked.
Allison knew how these things went down.
"It won't be too long." Allison said. "The operation was already underway."
The three Resistance girls led the other girls to where they wanted them.
"Believe me." Vanna said. "This is how we did it in the future. It was the only thing to live for."
Mary. Laura and Leticia all looked at each other when Vanna mentioned the future.
Vanna kissed Allison. It was clear to all of them they were lovers.
"I'll say." Allison said.
They all ended up in rooms. The girls soon forgot about everything else….
Every 'finish' they could have was a 'moment' of 'escape'.
It was escape from reality.
They escaped a lot.
Seconds ago:
"They're out." John Henry said.
Summer knew they would open their chutes and 'fly' to the target area. It was a relatively low opening altitude. The Metal girls were good. There was enough wind to make sure they made it.
There was a drone below each of the two groups in case a chute didn't open. All the chutes opened and the drones moved off.
Summer wanted to make sure everyone on the ground knew what was coming.
"Inform everyone they will soon have company." Summer said.
The two teams on the ground were about to be reinforced.
Bob and Jim each acquired a large truck. They were on their way to join Cam's team. Al and Ed were a few minutes behind them. It took them a little longer to get the fourth truck. They had it now. CamNet specifically informed them where there was one at. They'd needed to dispose of a few bodies first.
They figured the battle would be over before they arrived.
Steve led the trucks away from the machine shop and welding shop. Tom was behind him. Dan and Frank would switch off to a parallel route once they were out of the area.
They'd set the explosive charges before they'd left. They were set to be command detonated in case any more Skynet related personnel showed up. They were advised not to rig them as booby traps by the Young bunker. They didn't want some 'sap' to trip them by accident. If more Grays showed up, they wanted to be able to get the most of them.
The Terminators cleared away from the area with their specialized cargo.
Moments ago:
Cam and Samantha were in the fourth building. They could hear the jet approach.
"They just jumped." John Henry said.
Cam headed outside. Samantha followed her. They would mark their specific landing zone.
"Ally and Hanna should land right out here." Cam said. "Cammy needs to land by Richard and Michael. Sheila and Camille are going to land near where the pump house was."
They both looked up into the dark sky.
"I see three, no, four chutes." Samantha said.
Cam looked for the last one. She soon spotted it. Someone did a very low altitude opening. She was pretty sure who it was.
"There's the fifth one." Cam said. "I bet it's Cammy."
John Henry searched for any abnormalities. None were detected.
"The drone scans show no changes around you." John Henry said.
Earlier:
Sheila was buffeted by the wind. It was like the previous jump she went on from the cargo 727 with Cameron out of San Francisco. Ally and Hanna were with them on the operation out of San Francisco.
She received the signal to go. She jumped from the airstair. Camille was right behind her. She could see a drone below them. She understood what it was for. She deployed her chute and so did Camille. They would 'glide' to their landing zone. It was two miles off to the side. The drone below them moved towards their landing zone as they followed it.
Camille practiced parachute jumps before with Young Jesse. None of them were from a jet. She would need to work it into Young Jesse's training. She followed Sheila down.
Sheila spotted a car on its side in a ravine. There was a street above and next to it. There were some animals moving around it. It was their landing zone. Camille was still off to her side and in back of her by a hundred feet.
They both neared the dark street. They flared up some and slowed. They both landed on the street on their feet. They quickly gathered their chutes and stowed them next to the car in the ravine. Two coyotes ran off as they tossed the compacted chutes down next to it. The coyotes both carried away something in their mouths.
They headed for the remains of the pump house. They were a little surprised at the number of dead they'd come across so far. They'd already come across a dozen terminated individuals.
Camille was visibly worried. It was 'worse' than they'd been led to believe. They dropped down into the cistern and opened the hatch there. Hank unsecured it for them earlier. They re-secured it. They spotted the opening into the 'vault' where Hank and Larry waited for several years.
Sheila wanted to try and refocus Camille some. She looked very worried about Young Jesse.
"If it would have been us who waited all that time, I think we could have found a suitable position to wait in." Sheila said. "We could have pleasured each other nonstop for the time period."
Camille tilted her head slightly. She was pretty sure they would have overloaded and shut down at some point.
"Maybe next time…." Camille said. "I want to get to Jesse – Young Jesse. I'm worried about her."
They entered the junction. There was movement on both sides of them in each direction.
Earlier:
Cammy watched as Sheila and Camille jumped. She moved down into the wind. Ally and Hanna were right behind her. She was off a few seconds later. Ally and Hanna went one second apart after her.
She spotted the drone below them There were two landing zones marked for them to go to. She looked back and Ally and Hanna opened their chutes. She waited a little longer before she deployed her chute and headed in the direction of a blinking light. It would be Michael and Richard. She carried a vest with a transponder for each of them.
The drone moved off from below them. They all thought it was a nice touch.
Ally and Hanna watched Cammy head off for her destination. Their landing zone was a constant light. Cam was the one who marked it for them.
Richard held the blinking light for Cammy to zero in on. They could see her come in hot. She flared up and landed on her feet. Michael was behind her and gathered her chute. They stowed it in the trunk of the assistant manager's vehicle.
Cammy gave each of them a vest with a transponder along with some additional munitions.
They filled her in on the plan and drove off in the assistant manager's car. Cammy and Michael sat on the trunk. They wouldn't be with the car for long.
Cam and Samantha waited.
"I see them." Samantha said.
They were on the backside of the fourth building away from the street. It blocked the view of the third building from where they were at. There was a small clearing there.
Ally and Hanna touched down on their feet. Cam and Samantha gathered their chutes and stashed them in a small storage shed. It was in back of the fourth building.
Everyone was good. They knew the plan was in effect now. Hanna and Ally moved around one side of the building while Cam and Samantha moved around the other side. They could see the assistant manager's vehicle approach. The lights were on. It moved slowly. There should be no one in it at this point. Cammy, Richard and Michael should be on the ground and moving parallel to it, and actually be ahead of it. They figured the car would be the target for the Grays. It was to act as a diversion.
They knew a drone would make a low scan, and then all Hell should break loose.
Earlier:
Hank and Larry went back to the other end of the tunnel. Larry waited at the junction while Hank unsecured the hatch for Camille and Sheila.
They continued along the tunnel and found one more exit and then the tunnel ended. They rigged some motion sensor 'special red lights' as they made their way back. Anyone who didn't squawk their transponder code was going to have a really bad day.
They could hear movement in front of them as they neared the junction which led from the old pump house and their vault.
Young Jesse and Gail waited at the security door. Gail worked the lock with different combinations. She based her choices on the keys which were used on a regular basis. She'd already entered in several thousand different combinations. The lock went from red to green.
"You got it." Young Jesse said.
Gail tripped the latch, but didn't open the door yet. She placed her foot against it as she did. She didn't want anyone behind it to ambush them if they were there waiting for them. So far she only detected sounds of movement from behind them.
Holly quickly stripped John down to his underwear and removed them.
"Oh my, that's a big one." Holly said.
John pulled her underwear down and off. They stood naked before each other.
They both looked at each other with hungry eyes. This was something they'd both wanted for years. Now it was about to happen.
"All my programming is off, John." Holly said. "This is just you and me now."
John sucked his breath slightly.
"Holly, I've waited so long for this moment." John said.
The look of love and anticipation was in Holly's eyes.
"As have I, John." Holly said.
John wanted to say something about the past. It was important to him.
"I really wanted you back then when you watched over me." John said. "Thank you for everything you did for me. It helped keep me going."
Holly always saw it as more than an assignment.
"It was more than a job for me too." Holly said. "I always wanted you to 'take me' back then."
They shared a long slow deep kiss.
"I love you, John." Holly said.
"I love you too." John said.
Their hands were all over each other.
Holly wanted it all.
"I'm ready, John, make me a woman." Holly said.
It stimulated John to hear it.
He picked Holly up and laid her on the bed. He climbed in next to her. He started on the top.
Holly tried to reciprocate but John wanted to satisfy her first. He worked on her from her face to her toes and back up again. He paused in the 'middle' and went to work. She made it very quickly. He moved his body up and positioned himself over her.
Holly looked at John with wide eyes full of love.
John lined up and made his move.
Holly pulled him in close.
"Go slow." Holly whispered in his ear. "I've never done this before."
It excited John even more to hear it.
Her neck arched back slightly as he made contact.
Things started out slow, but rapidly picked up.
John really liked her chassis. He stayed with it until he felt Holly nails press into his back. He kept it going but couldn't hold out much longer. Holly made it for the second time as he finished. She took him in a deep kiss as her arms held him tighter to hold him in place. His weight wasn't a problem for the Metal girls.
"I love you, John." Holly whispered. "I always have. I wanted to be with you more than anything. Thank you."
John was surprised at how all the Metal girls all said the same things and reacted in the same ways. He thought it was beautiful.
He didn't want to think how unfair it was for Cameron to 'steal' their virginity from the Metal girls as she took control of their chassis on the ship, one by one. She'd only ever allowed them to be with other females.
Claire checked on Precious. She watched her lay there and sleep. It really made her want another child of her own. She touched her belly and knew it was Allison's baby inside. Even if Allison was able to have one of her own, Cameron would want the one she carried now. It didn't matter. She would have her own soon enough.
She was very content to wait there and watch Precious.
Riley was pleased at the ferocity Derek 'attacked' her with. She figured he knew what happened. It really seemed to motivate him. She figured her kiss gave it away. She didn't know he'd actually watched her with Vanna and Hanna in a 'three-way'.
She was still a little concerned at the rapid way the girls needed to leave. It seemed to indicate some danger. She decided to go check on Precious.
She looked for her robe but it was tangled in the sheets. She went naked to check.
Her heart was filled with joy when she saw 'Samantha' was back. She ran naked to her and hugged her.
"I've missed you so much, Samantha." Holly whispered. "I was very worried about you."
Riley's hands were all over 'Samantha'. She didn't know it was actually Claire. They looked identical.
The Terminator was inside of the building. He'd just entered through a gap in large doors over the railroad siding. He would need to use the utmost caution to avoid activating any of the HK equipment. He also needed to find out who else was in the building.
He crouched down low as he moved away from the double doors over the tracks. There was a raised dock along the west side of the tracks. The ground between the tracks and over to the east side wall was at the same elevation. It was all concrete.
The two boxcars were directly in front of him. The closest one was less than fifty feet away. He carefully moved up to the first boxcar. He could see the handbrake was set. He decided to move along the east side of the first boxcar to the second one. His earlier observation showed there were two HK Tracks at the doorway of the boxcar he was currently behind.
He carefully peered between the gap of the two boxcars where the couplers were located. Both of the boxcars were still coupled. The air line was connected. He crouched down below the level of the dock as he moved in back of the second boxcar. The HK Tread was parked in front of the large door on the side of it. It was out on the dock. He continued along the east side of the second boxcar to the end of it. The handbrake on this car was located there. He looked at it, it wasn't set.
He moved around the north end of the second boxcar. He carefully peered around the side of the boxcar at the HK Tread. It was still in the same spot he had been earlier. He looked to see what else he could observe on the dock and other locations. There were boxes and crates which blocked most of his view more than fifty feet looking west. He was at the north end of the building.
The Terminator went back along the east side of the boxcar. He moved underneath it as he passed the truck. It consisted of two axles and four wheels. It was a standard railroad feature. He moved directly behind the HK Tread. There was a ramp which connected the boxcar to the loading dock. He carefully lifted his head along the north side of it and peered into the boxcar. He could see there was an HK drone in the south end of it. He moved under the ramp to the other side of it. He carefully lifted his head and looked in the north end of the boxcar. He could see there were several HK Tracks inside. There was enough room for the HK Tread to be moved back inside of the boxcar. It took up a lot of space. Since it appeared it was inactive, there was no explanation as to why it was out of the boxcar.
He took a quick look around and went off on the dock directly in back of the HK Tread. It remained inactive. The HK Tracks, and HK drone, inside of the boxcar behind him remained inactive as well.
He tried the door on the HK Tread. It wasn't secured. He took another look around and opened it all of the way. He climbed up inside of it. It would be the easiest way for him to reprogram it. He went to work.
The Terminator finished up with reprogramming the HK Tread. He carefully opened the door on the side of it and exited. The HK Tread would now only respond to him and recognize his transponder as a friendly code. He took a moment from his higher elevation to look towards the west and south ends of the building. There still wasn't a whole lot he could see. There was machinery also inside of the building. Everything looked old.
He moved in back of the HK Tread and went across the platform which connected the boxcar to the loading dock. He went over to the HK Tracks and began to reprogram them as well. When he finished with those, he moved over to the HK drone at the other end of the boxcar.
The Terminator paused and looked carefully around the corner of the doorway before he exited out of the boxcar. He'd detected a noise.
The security chief knew he needed to move away. He carefully began to uncover himself as soundlessly as possible. He still needed to worry about enemy combatants in the building as well as the damaged HK Track.
The building was relatively well lit now because of the fire burning in the front of it. It was easier for him to see. It also meant it would be easier for any of the enemy to see as well. If they were Terminators, they would have had the advantage before. Now they didn't. He checked the rocket in the RPG. Everything looked like it was good to go. He just needed to pull the trigger to fire it.
He tried to keep some of the crates between him and the HK Track. The grinding noise it made when he moved seemed to be getting louder. Something was obviously bound up in its mechanism.
The security chief wanted to get a better look at what happened in the front of the building. He wanted to know the status of the spatial portal. He was sure the other HK Track was history.
The damaged HK Track was behind him now. He wasn't sure what it was looking for. If it was him, he was away from the area. He decided to sling the RPG for now. He pulled his pistol out instead.
The fire grew in intensity as he approached the front of the building. The entire side where the electrical transformers were located was gone. There was no sign of the HK Track either. It was gone as well. He wasn't sure where it went. It was just gone.
The security chief could see some bright flashes of light within the flames of where the spatial portal had been. He wasn't sure what to make of it. He would need to get closer. The flames were rather intense.
The female Fanatic and Jill removed the debris from each other as quietly as possible. They knew there was still one Gray active if he'd survived the explosion. They could clearly hear the damaged HK Track as it moved around.
"What else are we going to do here?" Jill asked. "It looks like this place is going to burn down. Those two trucks left all ready. The other ones here don't have anything in them."
The female Fanatic knew things were winding down. They certainly weren't finished yet. She looked over towards where the trench was at. It might offer them an avenue of escape if they needed it.
"Let's try to determine what exactly is destroyed and what needs to be destroyed." The female Fanatic said. "You know there's at least one more Gray moving around. We last spotted him with an RPG. I'm sure he has other weapons as well. He currently is our biggest known threat. Since the HK Track has been damaged. It may not still recognize us as 'friendlies'. It may consider everyone it encounters as a threat. It will be an even bigger threat if it's the case. You've seen them in action."
The female Fanatic and Jill made their way towards the front. They could hear the damaged HK Track moving around behind them. They weren't exactly sure what it was doing. They could see the entire side of the front of the building was gone. There was nothing but flames burning around the debris which remained. There was a bright flash of light occasionally. It didn't have the same 'electric type noise' they'd heard earlier. There was no sign of the other HK Track. It was gone. There was however a Gray silhouetted in front of them. They could see RPG slung on his back in a pistol in his hand as he moved towards the front.
The grinding noise of the damaged HK Track seemed to be coming closer. They moved further behind some containers. They momentarily lost sight of the Gray as they did. When they moved back into a position where they should be able to spot him, he was gone.
The female Fanatic and Jill seemed to have threats in front of them and in back of them.
Lena and Tina were directed to find out the condition of the spatial portal first, before they investigated the remains of the building and looked for the second HK Track. They also needed to determine the whereabouts of the female Fanatic and her accomplice. It was possible there were still Grays as well.
Their drones overhead needed to remain out of detection range of an HK Track. It was a threat to them. If they could determine its location, they could attack it. If they were able to spot it first, they might be able to disable it. It would still be a big risk.
They headed for the missing part of the building. They could see the area behind the missing part was engulfed in flames. They were close enough to confirm the HK Track was gone. There was a bright flash of light every now and then amongst the flames. It was what concerned them the most. It was location where the spatial portal was last observed. So far they hadn't received any negative energy effects as they'd experienced earlier.
They moved closer to the burning building. They could hear the sound of an HK Track moving around. It sounded as if it was damaged.
"I'm not sure what we're going to find here." Lena said.
Tina looked at the burning rubble.
"It's what we're here to find out." Tina said.
The Metal girls were very near the location of where the spatial portal had been. They could hear some type of electrical discharge. The transformer station outside of the building was gone. It didn't appear there was any electricity going into the remains of the building from anywhere. The electrical noise could only come from several sources. It could be the remains of the HK Track or the disabled Terminator they'd left behind. It could also be the spatial portal attempting to reopen, or unable to close. Anything involving the spatial portal not being shut down, was most likely going to be bad news.
They spotted several more bright flashes of light from the location where the spatial portal was last observed. They didn't think it was closed. From the back side, there appeared to be nothing but flames. It was the same as they moved around to the side. When they moved further to the side and back, they were able to see a rectangular outline of black appear in the midst of the flames. It would close in on itself and then reopen back to its original size with a white flash. It did it in an intermittent fashion. Based on the destruction of the building, the emitters which were on the ground no longer existed. It appeared it was going to be a situation similar to what some of the Metal girls and Savannah experienced previously.
Lena and Tina spotted some movement back at where part of the building still stood. They could hear a damaged HK Track moving around as well. It was clear there were multiple threats which still existed.

Young Allison wasn't sure what they should do with the horse. It should be tied up though so it didn't try to run off again.
Cameron led the horse to a tree away from the road. There was no curb or sidewalk. She still held it firmly as she talked to it and stroked its neck. She didn't want Young Allison to get too close to it. She knew animals were unpredictable. They didn't respond well to threats. They ignored them and continued with whatever behavior warranted the threat in the first place. She understood their disregard for their own longevity was based on ignorance.
Young Allison wasn't sure if it was a good idea to leave it unattended.
"Maybe we should wait here for a little while to see who shows up." Young Allison said. "I don't think the parking lights will drain the battery too much."
Cameron didn't think it would be a problem if it did. Since it was equipped with a manual transmission, she would simply be able to push start vehicle with Young Allison in it. Once she got it moving, all Young Allison would need to do is let out the clutch in first gear with the key in the on position, and the vehicle would start. She believed it was actually a setback modern vehicles were unable to be started in the same way. If they used some type of electronic fuel injection, which almost everyone currently did, they wouldn't start.
"I wouldn't worry about it." Cameron said. "Even if the vehicle was disabled, we're only a few miles from the safe house."
Cameron looked back in the direction from where the horse had come from. She could hear the sound of another horse approaching.
"There's another horse coming." Cameron said.
Young Allison looked in the direction Cameron indicated. She could see a figure moving and quickly determined it was a horse with a rider.
"It looks like someone with a cowboy hat." Young Allison said. "Should we call him Tex?"
In less than a minute the rider approach and slowed as they neared their position.
Cameron wasn't always sure the name 'Tex' was always associated in a positive manner. Then again, there was more than one fighter pilot from the Second World War which went by the nickname. One of them was a member of the Flying Tigers.
"Let's see what their story is first." Cameron said. "I want to make sure the animal wasn't abused."
Young Allison thought if Summer was there with them, she would be able to tell a little more about the emotional status of the horse. It was obviously scared because it was running. The question was, why was it scared to begin with?
The individual on horseback arrived.
"I can see you stopped my horse." The man said. "Thank you. I really appreciate it. I was very worried."
Young Alison didn't think they should get into the specifics as to how the event actually occurred. The explanation of how Cameron jumped from the windowsill of the moving panel truck would be hard for someone to fathom. She decided to keep it simple and non specific.
"We caught a lucky break." Young Allison said.
Cameron wanted to know a little more. She still held the horse firmly. She hadn't tied it up yet.
"I'd like to know what happened." Cameron said. "The horse could have been injured, or caused a serious accident."
The individual got off of his horse. Both Cameron and Young Allison took a moment to look at him. He appeared to be about six and a half feet tall.
"I want to thank both of you first. You can call me 'Tiny'." Tiny said. "I'm a stuntman for the movie industry. I'm sort of between jobs now. I'm trying to get a job as caretaker at one of the movie ranches in Santa Susana Pass. I was attempting to practice a stunt for an upcoming scene. I missed my transfer and ended up on the ground. It spooked Black Magic and he took off. Once I got back up on Big Red, we were hot on his trail. Black Magic was really moving. I need to do the stunt tomorrow. I'm a little bit sorer than I anticipated."
Cameron took in the condition of the man's attire. It was traditional Western dress. He didn't wear a holster or carry a gun. She understood he was just practicing. She could see there was dirt on his clothing. It looked like his story checked out. He'd probably taken a hard fall.
Young Allison listened to what the man said and what his name was. She thought about the location he possibly referred to. All the pieces begin to click in her head. If it was the same individual, which it most likely was, he faced a gruesome end in about half of a decade.
She didn't think she should mention it specifically to Cameron. More than likely Cameron was aware of the incident and all of the illicit actions at one of the movie ranches located off of the Pass road.
Cameron inquired as to what the stunt consisted of. She could see Tiny was moving a little slow and favored his right side.
He gave them a brief explanation as to what the stunt consisted of. It sounded somewhat dangerous.
She told Tiny her name was Cindy and Young Allison's name was Emily.
"I can do the stunt." Cameron said. "I'm also the fastest gun in the West."
Tiny looked at the two girls for a moment. It didn't appear they were joking. He wasn't sure what to make of it.
"I don't think it will be necessary." Tiny said. "I appreciate the thought."
Cameron thought about offering to ride Black Magic back with Tiny and Big Red. She needed to consider Young Allison and deal with her needs. She didn't sleep. Young Allison needed to. She needed to eat as well. Events extended out a little further than she'd anticipated. She wanted to know a little more.
"Where's the filming location?" Cameron asked. "Is it at the studio lot, or on one of the movie ranches in the Pass?"
Tiny took a moment to look the two girls over. He wondered if they were out past curfew or not. It was hard to tell. The moonlight lit the area, but there wasn't a whole lot of light otherwise.
"It will be at Iverson's." Tiny said. "I need to go."
Young Allison watched Tiny go over and soothe Black Magic for a short time before he walked him back over to Big Red and got on. Tiny thanked them again and left at a slow trot with both of the horses.
"What did you make of all of it?" Young Allison asked.
Cameron thought it was a plausible story. She understood things didn't always go like they were planned.
"He seemed like a nice man who's working hard to stay employed. He's more than likely a little past his prime and probably a little more banged up than he'd anticipated. Stunt work isn't easy on the human body."
Young Allison was ready to roll. She tossed Cameron the keys.
"You can drive." Young Allison said. "I think you're more likely to remain in the vehicle if you do."
Cameron tilted her head slightly.
"I can out drive any stunt driver as well." Cameron said.
Young Allison wondered if she should take the keys back.
It's What I Wanted
When there are others around
It's easy to become distracted
There are various types of interaction
They may flourish when they're cultivated
Not everything one does
Will always be accepted
The nature of their actions
Can leave them very isolated
The extent of one's actions
Can leave them quite restricted
Their expansion going forward
May be slow and limited
Even though everything is separate
It's all still associated and related
Sometimes in order to go forward
Those with differences will be united
When the goal is finally achieved
One may not be positively affected
Will they still say
'It's what I wanted'
Nobody
