Prologue

The Olympic coven otherwise known as the Cullens are peculiar enough, as is their newest member.

After surviving a horrible tragedy and being adopted by the Cullen family Rosalie Hale moved with them to the cloud shrouded town of Forks.

Forks was new clean slate for her, a chance at normalcy, but as a human Rosalie's life in a vampire coven had been pretty placid in Forks.

That all changes when her adopted brother falls for the police chief's daughter while she's got her own drama to deal with.

Chapter 1

"Wakey, Wakey! Sleepy head you need to get ready to look your best, or we'll be late! said Alice.

Glancing at the clock on my next to my bed, I said: "Ughh! come on Alice at this time! There's plenty of time of the get ready arrive on time. Some of us need our beauty sleep, not that it would help I'm just talking about the man, then there's you Esme."

"Well I've got to do something about that hair of yours." Alice answered.

"What's wrong with my hair?" I asked her.

Breathing in Alice, said: "Your hair looks like a cross between mad scientists and a messy bird nest, that even attractive vampires couldn't make that look work."

I frowned a bit at her barb: "Wow my self just got a massive boost, what a way to start the day." I said sarcastically.

Alice looked at me contritely:"You're still pretty but you've got to get ready, tick tock!" she said.

"Fine! I'll go" I said. Making my way to the shower, I got thinking what Alice said. Not so much about her roast, (well maybe a bit) I got thinking about how I'd be as a vampire.

I'd be lying if said I wasn't tempted by vampirism. The immortality , exceptional supernatural beauty, unceasing youth, wealth accumulated over may life times, the supernatural speed strength, near virtual indestructibility invulnerability the incredible sometimes frightening extra abilities vampires call gifts.

Showering I wondered how beautiful I'd be as a vampire, it's hard imagine ( admit) anyone being more attractive than the Cullens and Denalis.

Alice said in her vision I'd be the most vampire she's ever seen.

Ultimately I wanted to keep my humanity there were things I that being a vampire, wouldn't allow me to have, things my family would give anything for, something a lot of my family wouldn't want me to loose.

The thirst as my family calls wasn't worth my humanity.

I finished my shower got dressed with Alice eagerly fixing hair. There I went to have breakfast. Seeing "my parents" the Cullen boys. Esme gave me my breakfast, I got to say for people who don't eat they've some good food. It's sort weird being the only who eats so my siblings folks made small talk.

Having finished breakfast, Emmett looked around seemingly nervous.

He looked me in the eyes said: "Err Rose...there's something I want to tell you..."

"SHOTGUNNN!!!"
