Alleys: well-known for being the most secluded yet risky paths any urban area had to offer.
Even though the pro hero industry became a global sensation, reports had stated that the majority of them were rarely seen patrol through any sort of dark alley that were in their local vicinity.
The main reason behind that wasn't due to their busy schedules, but because there wasn't a vast amount of media coverage in an alley compared to a more populated location like a park or subway.
This severe lack of protection in an alley meant that if any innocent soul were get to cornered by the evils that were hiding in the shadows... well, it was anyone's dreadful guess.
From day to night, the locals would make sure to warn any starstruck tourist or unfamiliar face to always avoid any open path that was cramped with garbage or cast in the shadows of darkness.
Alleys of any kind were always hiding something sinister in their shadows. Whether it be a thief waiting to steal the earnings of a weak willed soul, or a killer brandishing their blades to whomever crossed their sights.
Though that didn't mean that a dark alley couldn't serve as an area of discretion for those who did not want the world to see their true colors...
"Take this you little bastard!!"
An abnormally large fist dug deep into the stomach of an unfortunate soul, causing the body to collapse to the ground, littered with useless papers and bottles.
Coughing and breathless gasping were the only sounds that came out of the bloodied lips of a teenage boy as he was receiving a "lesson" from his enraged classmate, Hiroshi.
His consciousness was on melting ice, his body failing to keep him straight as he could do nothing but pant heavily as his lungs were rapidly ingesting and releasing air, doing his very best to endure the torture.
But through the pain, he could feel his blood boiling with rage and humiliation towards this insufferable bastard, he could feel hands forming into shaky fists.
Unfortunately, he did not have the strength nor the courage to fight back. Instead, he let Hiroshi pull him from the ground, gasping and coughing as he felt his abnormally large fist go into his gut.
His emotions were at a turmoil: the school gave Hiroshi all the benefits a teenager could ever dream of just because he took the soccer team to the national championship!?
Do they even know of his sadistic side? No! The staff refused to accept the rumors that Hiroshi, the school's superstar, possessed a tendency that was cruel or despicable.
No matter how many times the students and teachers, whom were sick of Hiroshi's disgusting antics, tried to show the staff the ugly truth they insisted on turning the other cheek... with a small punishment added as a warning.
Punishment for "trying to bring down a student's morale" was acceptable, but harassing and tormenting the lives of other students wasn't!?
Just what kind of safety were those teachers promoting?
"You done there man!? I wanna get a crack at this wimp!"
"Hey, what about me!? I'm the one who brought him here! First, might I add!"
Oh, and he brought two of his loyal dogs with him.
The soccer captain looked over his shoulder, sending his "friends" a smirk. "Don't worry, guys. I'll let you in on the fun..." He looked back and stared down at his victim, his eyebrows lowered as his eyes were cloaked in the shadows of the night. "But first, let's give him what we gave the goalie last week."
The malice lit up like a fire in the eyes of Hiroshi's goons.
"Hooo hoooh! Now we're talking!!" The two lapdogs were thrilled.
Hiroshi turned left in a 180, pushing his victim into the arms of his lapdogs.
The two grabbed their captain's punching bag by his shoulders, keeping him in place for their captain.
Hiroshi took a step towards the helpless soul, his evil grin illuminated by the full moon.
His lapdogs copied their captain's evil grin, happily living in the moment of uncontrolled sadism.
Unbeknownst to the captain and his lapdogs, a tall figure slowly descended from the shadows that were behind them...
Author's Note: Sorry that I couldn't give you guys the complete first chapter of this reboot.
I felt like giving you all a little sneak peek was the better option to generate some more excitement.
