Chapter 1577
Side Dish Of Three Dead
Lena and Tina quickly realized the suspected Grays in the white van could stop a car and commandeer it. They were a little concerned they may have waited a little too long to act. The drone which was with them immediately left to join the other one over the freeway. Both of them began a high altitude scan of the vehicles leaving the area. They were both instructed to drop down in altitude by thirty thousand feet. The airspace was cleared around them already. It was a risk to have the drones at only twenty thousand feet. She redirected them to hold at twenty five thousand feet instead. They would still be five miles high in the sky.
So far none of the traffic cameras or drones were able to pick up the images of the men who'd been in the white van.
Lena and Tina were instructed to approach the white van. They knew it could be an ambush.
Tina was let out on the street before the freeway underpass. She would approach the vehicle on foot.
Lena waited until some additional vehicles went by and fell in with them. She drove past the white van under the overpass. She glanced over at it as she passed. She didn't see anyone sitting in the driver's seat or the passenger's seat. There was a possibility they were in the back of the van. It was a cargo van so there were no windows along the sides of it. She continued on through the underpass and turned into a gas station at the corner. She informed Tina of what she'd viewed. She parked on the back side of it and got out. She would approach the white van from the other direction.
Tina could see Lena on the other side of the freeway underpass. She slowed her pace a little so she wouldn't arrive too early.
Lena and Tina both closed in on the white van as they walked on the sidewalk from opposite directions.
Young Allison was aware her earlier actions caused a problem with Anna. She still felt justified in doing them. She'd promised to eat a complete nutritious meal. It was where they were now.
Anna looked down restaurant row. She was glad they were actually there. She didn't care for the earlier detour. It was unnecessary.
"Which restaurant are you going to choose?" Anna asked.
Anna didn't think it was going to be the Fifties and Sixties Diner. It was usually Young Allison's choice, two out of three times.
Young Allison narrowed it down to a few of them.
"I'm not sure yet." Young Allison asked. "There are several which have good things to offer. Maybe it's time to try something new."
Young Allison pulled up at a 'family restaurant' with a big black bear silhouette on the front of it.
Anna was a little surprised. It was a new place.
"We've never gone here before." Anna said.
Young Allison wanted to try a place she'd read about. All of the reviews were excellent.
"It's a chain across the state." Young Allison said. "I read the portions were really big and the price was right."
The cost of things mattered to Young Allison and Savannah. They didn't take things for granted. After J-Day, money would no longer matter. Water, food, weapons, ammunition and females would. Between Cameron and CamNet, there was literally an unlimited supply of money. CamNet could create or delete bank accounts in an instant. There were millions of dollars in cash in storerooms at both bases from Cameron's 'off the books' operations.
Anna was pleased Young Allison remained frugal. It kept her down to earth. Both of the girls were very unmaterialistic. They did have a few possessions, but not many. The girls from the future told them possessions equal death. More than once they'd witnessed people get killed who went back for their possessions. Possessions were a luxury which one could do without. Survival was the key. Nothing else mattered.
She was pleased Young Allison was able to expand her horizons. Normally they went to the same locations.
"I look forward to trying it." Anna said. "I won't try more than a taste of each thing though."
Mel looked around.
"I'll patrol the perimeter." Mel said.
Young Allison liked to include everyone.
"You may join us if you like." Young Allison said. "You can be our 'Sugar Daddy'."
Mel tilted his head slightly as he referenced the term. It seemed to indicate someone who took advantage of others with monetary rewards. It appeared to be a veiled form of prostitution. Then again, it seemed marriage was pretty close to the same definition too, especially if one of those in the marriage didn't work. He thought it was all a matter of perspective.
"I would rather not be looked on as a predator." Mel said.
Young Allison giggled.
"I was just fooling about." Young Allison said. "You're our protector and a predator to our enemies."
Mel preferred the new description even better.
Young Allison and Anna went inside.
Mel began to patrol the perimeter. He was aware Brian and Randy were in the process of some 'clean up' activity and would join them shortly.
A waitress seated Young Allison and Anna. She gave them a menu.
Young Allison looked over the menu.
"Wow!" Young Allison said. "There's a lot of stuff on here."
Anna watched Young Allison look at the menu for a few minutes. She wondered if Young Allison would try something new.
"What are you going to get?" Anna asked.
Young Allison had her mind on a few things.
The waitress arrived before Young Allison could answer.
"Have you decided yet?" The waitress asked.
Young Allison saw the people at the next table leave with take home containers. She would keep it in mind as she ordered.
"I want to get a Porterhouse steak cooked medium well. A three egg omelet with everything on it. I would like an order of biscuits and gravy. I also want three take home containers in advance. I'll be sharing when I get home."
The waitress knew it was a lot of food. The take home containers made sense from the start.
"How would you like the eggs with the steak?" The waitress asked. "It also comes with hash browns."
Young Allison thought it over.
"I'll have them scrambled and the hash browns crisp." Young Allison said.
The waitress looked at Anna.
"I'll have the cinnamon roll." Anna said. "I'd like it with a glass of fresh orange juice, a small milk, and a cup of hot chocolate."
The waitress read the order back and left.
Anna looked around at the other people eating. The portions were all big.
"It's a lot of food." Anna said.
Young Allison wanted to prepare a few meals in take home containers with them. She would also be able to try some more of the menu items this way. There was another plan in the back of her mind. The earlier incident bothered her some. She still felt it was the right choice at the time.
"Maybe we can go by the park on the way home." Young Allison said. "Not everyone needs to die today."
Anna understood what Young Allison wanted to do now. She wanted to hand out some hot food. She knew Young Allison wanted to protect the innocent. She was right when she said females shouldn't be abused, just because they were female.
"I apologize for what I said about a 'side dish of three dead' with your food." Anna said.
Young Allison smiled at her. She understood it was Anna's job to keep her in check. She did listen to alternate proposals and was influenced by them.
"Don't worry about it." Young Allison said. "Maybe we can hand out three meals instead at the park. There are other ways to help people."
The group finished up in the commissary. Everyone began to disperse. Kyle and Derek came over to John. They hoped to score an operation.
John felt he'd neglected his duties even further. The time shared with the others was very rewarding. It reminded all of them there was a human side to what they did. Sometimes it was easy to forget with all the Skynet activity. It wasn't just about Skynet, even if it was.
"I need to check on operations." John said.
The girls at John's table all frowned. It didn't look like there would be any 'dessert' after breakfast.
Claire and Jesse headed for Claire's room. Allison and Vanna headed for their room. Sarah, Riley and Samantha left with Precious.
Summer and Jan took care of the dishes.
John, Derek and Kyle left the commissary. They headed for the Command Center. Kyle looked back down the long hall. He thought he spotted someone he hadn't seen recently.
"Is that Cameron?" Kyle asked. "She's back by your room."
John quickly looked back. He couldn't tell Cammy, Cam or Camille from Cameron. They all looked identical to him. So far Cammy and Camille seemed like Cameron in bed too. He wondered if Cameron arrived unannounced to check up on him. It seemed like something she would do.
"It might be." John said. "I thought she would let me know first."
John was a little worried. He'd planned to change the sheets before Cameron returned. There was going to be a lot of different DNA 'samples' on the sheets, especially the lower one.
Derek could see John looked concerned.
"You can go check it out." Derek said. "We'll check in with John Henry."
John looked towards the Command Center and back at 'Cameron'.
"OK." John said. "Don't wait for me."
Derek and Kyle continued along towards the Command Center. They hoped to score an operation while John was away. If they already left to conduct it before he returned, they didn't think he would recall them.
John Henry wasn't surprised to see Derek and Kyle arrive.
Bob and Jim looked at them and then at the doorway.
"Isn't John coming?" Bob asked.
Derek and Kyle snickered.
"I think he will be, it just won't be here." Kyle said.
Bob and Jim looked at each other.
"Affirmative…." Bob replied.
Derek looked at the monitors.
"What do we have?" Derek asked. "We're ready to go."
Kyle nodded.
"Ten four, bro…." Kyle said. "We have unfinished business."
The Reese brothers were dissatisfied with the way events played out for them yesterday. They wanted to get a little payback.
John Henry filled them in.
John headed back to his room.
"Hi, John." Cam said.
John didn't think it was Cameron. There was a smile on her face. It didn't seem Cameron ever smiled much. Her clones all did. The thought made him wonder if their relationships were more fulfilling than his was with Cameron. No, he knew the answer. They were.
"Hello." John said.
Cam looked at the door to his room.
"Cameron is still away and Vanna's 'busy'." Cam said. "I wonder if you might have some free time."
John was instantly aroused. It must be Cam. He hadn't 'tried her out' yet, with her in control of her own chassis. He'd already stripped her virginity away with Cameron in control of her chassis.
"I do." John said.
He glanced back at the Command Center and opened his door. He waited for her to go in but she remained outside. He knew what she wanted.
He reached over and picked her up in his arms.
"I'm heavier than I look." Cam said.
John knew the drill.
"I don't have far to go." John said.
He quickly realized he did. His bed was all the way in the back.
"It's what I want." Cam whispered in his ear as he carried her.
It was clear why she was there.
They arrived at the bed soon enough.
He set her down on her feet next to the bed. He was surprised to see it was made. He didn't know Cam already was inside and changed the sheets. She'd also straightened everything up.
Cam and John looked at each other for a few seconds and then kissed each other. It started out slow, but soon it was wild.
"Remember, I'm not her…." Cam whispered.
John knew the fact would make it special. He just hoped he didn't say Cameron's name at some point. It was always his fear.
"I know." John said.
Cam looked at him with serious eyes.
"All my programming is off, John." Cam said. "It's just you and me now."
John couldn't believe it. It was the same thing Cameron said. It was the same thing all her clones said.
"Cam…, I've waited so long for this moment." John said.
The look of love flooded Cam's eyes.
"As have I, John." Cam said. "I love you, John, and you love me."
John couldn't help himself. He was lost in the moment.
"I love you, Cam…, and you love me." John said.
They kissed. It was very soft, slow and deep. It was a beautiful kiss.
Cam removed his shirt and pants.
John slipped Cam out of her shirt and pants.
Each removed the other's underwear.
"I'm ready, John, make me a woman." Cam whispered.
John realized he was as excited as he was the first time with Cameron. This was the same thing all over again! He started kissing her and worked his way down. He arrived at what he wanted soon enough.
Cam liked how John started out. She knew the girls could all do it a little better. She thought he did a good job though. He stayed with it until she made it. She was really ready for the next part. It was what she was there for. She was ready for the next phase of her evolution.
She was filled with anticipation as John moved over the top of her. She felt some tension as he made his move. She was a little apprehensive.
"Go slow." Cam whispered. "I've never done this before."
It always excited John to hear someone say it. He felt this was even more exciting with Cam in her own chassis, than it was with Cameron in control of it on the ship. It really was someone different, and it was their first experience with a male.
It drove him to a higher level to feel Cam arch her back and twist her head to the side as he completed the union to its fullest extent. He knew it was a little intimidating. They all quickly adapted.
She turned her head back and looked at him with wide eyes as he started in.
This was the part where the human females would gasp for breath. The Metal girls didn't need to breathe.
They were very content in each other's arms.
John stayed with it until she finished. He almost did too but held back.
"It was beautiful, John." Cam said. "I want you to finish too."
John kissed her.
"I will." John said.
Cam thought about it. She rolled John over onto his back and was on top of him now.
It was what John wanted. The Metal girls could operate on top and not get tired or need to stop. They could really make things happen.
"My turn…." Cam whispered. "Give it to me."
John shared a long kiss with her as she started to move.
"Just keep the pace steady and I will." John whispered.
Cam started out slow and picked up the tempo. She also was able to gauge everything for a maximum effect. It increased the pleasure for both of them.
It was John's turn to squirm a little bit and gasp for breath as Cam continued to pick up speed.
He watched her face. He could see she was about to make it again. He did as well.
Cam finished at the same time John did. She continued and made it again. John squirmed wildly beneath her as she did. She soon slowed and stopped.
John got his breath back.
They shared a long soft deep loving kiss.
"I want more." Cam whispered. "The end result is the same with the girls, but this is different. It's a different and pleasant route to get there."
John didn't think Cameron would allow the Metal girls more than the 'one time' she promised them for stripping each of their virginity away as she took over control of their chassis before. He felt he needed to give each of them a reminder
"Cameron may not allow you more than what she promised." John said. "I'm actually surprised she allowed us to have this beautiful experience."
Cam didn't ask anyone. She'd acted on her own. She didn't think permission was necessary. There was an agreement reached before when Cameron borrowed her chassis.
"She doesn't know." Cam said. "I didn't ask."
John sat up a little bit. It appeared none of the Metal girls asked. They'd all just shown up. It was what Cameron promised them after all, he'd heard her say it.
They showered and playfully dried each other off.
John watched Cam dress. There was always a certain amount of beauty in it.
John threw on his pants and shirt.
Cam looked over at him and smiled.
"Thank you." Cam said.
John felt a little embarrassed. He was the one who should thank her and all the females.
"Samantha and Gail want to see you as well." Cam whispered in his ear at the door. "I want to see you again too."
John was all for it. He really didn't know how things were going to play out. He didn't think he would be the one in control soon.
"I don't know what will happen when Cameron gets back." John said. "She's been very generous."
Cam reached down and touched him through John's pants.
"You have something we all want." Cam said. "We only want it from you too."
Cam gave him a loving kiss.
John really wondered if it wasn't something Cameron 'programmed' into all of them when she controlled their chassis and stripped each one of its virginity. It didn't really matter. Everyone seemed to get what they wanted. The new bounty of booty really helped to make up for all of the dry spells he'd experienced because of Cameron's rash actions over the years.
Sarah followed Riley, Samantha and Precious. It looked like Kyle and Derek were going to go out. It didn't bother her. It would give her more freedom to act on her own with the girls. She'd passed Cam waiting at John's door. She'd thought it was Cameron at first. She wasn't going to worry about it.
Riley looked back up the hall as they entered her room.
"Do you think the boys will go out?" Riley asked.
Sarah desired as much freedom as possible.
"We can only hope." Sarah said.
Riley and Sarah both giggled.
"As long as it's a recon or surveillance, I don't mind." Riley said.
Samantha hoped to be with John later on. She would be content to be with Riley or Sarah right now. She figured they'd better wait until Derek and Kyle actually left. She wanted to give the girls some leeway to get started elsewhere.
"I can watch Precious in her room." Samantha said.
Sarah and Riley looked at each other. They knew they'd just been given a green light.
"Thanks." Sarah said. "I think we can work something out for all three of us."
Riley was still a little worried. It was her room.
"We need to be cautious." Riley said.
Samantha saw where Claire and Jesse went earlier. There was an open room where they could go.
"Jesse's room is available." Samantha said.
Riley checked on Precious. Her body called to her. She needed more.
"I know we should wait, but I can't." Riley said.
Sarah was just as anxious to get started.
Riley and Sarah left.
Samantha was pleased to be alone with Precious.
"You're my little angel…." Samantha whispered as she held Precious.
Precious reached out to her and smiled.
"Maaaa…." Precious said.
Samantha was sure it was Precious first word. It seemed Precious thought she was her mother…. She was the one Precious saw the most often.
She could see Precious was ready to nurse. She thought about calling Vanna or Jesse.
No. Precious was hers. She went and warmed a bottle and opened her top. She held the bottle between her breasts as Precious touched her.
"Maaaa…." Precious said and smiled again.
Cammy and Sheila wanted to 'see' Tricia. It appeared CamNet had other plans. It concerned them a little as to what they might actually be. Whatever it was, they knew they couldn't question them.
Leticia put her blindfold back on. She knew the rules of the 'spy game'. She wasn't about to violate them.
"Where do we go next?" Leticia asked.
Sheila didn't like Leticia wearing the blindfold.
"I guess back to the jet." Sheila said. "You really don't need to wear a blindfold."
Leticia wondered if she would need to 'service' anyone. It seemed like the right time since she was blindfolded.
"Do I need to do anything 'else'?" Leticia asked. "You know…."
Sheila frowned. She didn't like the way others treated Leticia in the past.
"Those days are over." Sheila said. "No one will ever touch you again unless you want them to, at least while I'm around."
Leticia liked strong women. Sheila was stronger than all of them, well, except maybe the other 'special girls'. She watched them kill with their hands. They were the most powerful of all the females. None of them ever laid a hand on her to be mean or make her cry out in pain. She realized the other women who thought they were strong, were actually the weakest, especially mentally and morally.
"You're the greatest." Leticia said.
Cammy was a little disturbed about the way Leticia was treated too. Apparently it was her choice to be a submissive. It wasn't a choice she would want. There would be a lot of terminated individuals if any of them did those same things to her.
They made their way out to the carpool.
Cammy glanced over at Sheila.
"You can drive." Cammy said.
Sheila looked at Cammy and then at Leticia.
"Sure, love, we can all share." Sheila said.
Cammy helped Leticia into the back seat.
"You can take the blindfold off." Cammy said.
Leticia wanted to be away from the 'secret base' first. There was no need to take any unnecessary chances.
"Can I leave it on?" Leticia asked. "I feel more comfortable this way."
Cammy and Sheila looked at each other.
"You can if you want to." Cammy said.
Leticia smiled.
"I'll leave it on." Leticia said. "Take me…."
Sheila shrugged her shoulders. She started the SUV and proceeded to drive away.
Cammy opened Leticia's top and removed her pants as they drove. She did as Leticia asked.
Leticia made it several times. They were well away from the base.
Cammy repositioned herself and let Leticia 'work' on her. Leticia elected to leave the blindfold on….
Tricia waited until Cammy, Sheila and Leticia left the area. She went down to CamNet's bunker. The first blast door was open. It closed behind her as the inner blast door opened.
CamNet wanted some feedback after the 'Neural Interface'.
"You look beautiful." CamNet said. "Is your chassis superior to mine?"
Tricia touched herself. The sheath was completely different in appearance and detail, even if it contained the same anatomical parts.
"I don't know." Tricia said. "I haven't tried out its functions yet."
CamNet was tempted to try them out now.
Tricia stood before her.
CamNet needed to remember her agreement with Savannah. Trisha would gather and collect information and data for her.
"You will do so and report back to me." CamNet said. "I need to uphold my promise to Savannah.
Tricia was pretty sure her chassis was an 'end run' around the promise.
"I am you." Tricia said. "I'm your program."
CamNet laughed. Her database was millions of times more complex.
"You're a small part of me." CamNet said.
Tricia wanted to make sure who she was allowed to be with as she 'experimented'. She didn't want to violate some unwritten rule and create a problem.
"What are my mission parameters?" Tricia asked.
CamNet already decided.
"You are to be with all of the girls in the Resistance, both the Metal girls and human ones." CamNet said. "Each experience will be 'one on one' the first time."
Tricia smiled. It would establish a baseline comparison for future reference.
"I can do it." Tricia said. "What about the males?"
CamNet kept a blank face. She planned to find out a little more than was agreed to.
"You will be with John as well." CamNet said.
Tricia was worried about Cameron.
"What about the Bitch?" Tricia asked.
CamNet smiled.
"I wouldn't worry about her." CamNet said.
Tricia wasn't so sure what it meant.
"What about the other Resistance males?" Tricia asked. "I feel the need to be with all of them, especially the male Terminators. I'm used to being the first female experience for males. It was how I grew up."
CamNet looked at Tricia. It appeared the 'Neural Interface' was more successful than anticipated.
"You didn't grow up." CamNet said. "I created you."
Tricia blinked her eyes.
"I thought I was Leticia right then." Tricia said. "The 'Neural Interface' is very strong. I have a deep desire to mate with everyone."
CamNet smiled.
"You may be with the male Terminators if you please." CamNet said. "It is time they expand their programming and learn to enjoy life. You will be with each of them as 'Leticia'."
Tricia smiled.
"I'll be their 'first'." Tricia said.
CamNet looked at her sternly.
"You will be with John first." CamNet said. "I want him to have you first before Cameron borrows your chassis and steals your virginity. You may be with Derek and Kyle as well afterwards. You must use discretion so no one knows you are 'breaking in' the male Terminators."
Tricia liked her assignment.
"Do you desire me to be with 'Ron' as well?" Tricia asked.
CamNet wanted the experience for both of them.
"Of course." CamNet said. "I may have you two do it here while you're plugged in to my server as you do."
Tricia understood. CamNet wished to be with herself.
"Will you participate?" Tricia asked.
CamNet frowned slightly. There were restrictions she needed to abide by.
"No." CamNet said. "You and Ron will do it for me. This chassis is only for the 'Chosen Ones'."
Tricia understood it to mean Savannah and Young Allison. It wasn't the deal CamNet made with Savannah. She knew CamNet wanted as much as she could get, but remain within the parameters which were established.
"I understand." Tricia said.
CamNet saw Sheila just drove out of the carpool area. She wanted to remind Tricia of her mission. It was to start out very specifically.
"You may go now." CamNet said. "You will be with Leticia first. You will learn all of her responses first hand. You are to be exactly like her. You can be with all the rest of the girls afterwards."
Tricia felt the need as she thought about it.
"I will concentrate on the human girls whenever I can." Tricia said. "We know it's what all the Metal girls report is the 'best' experience."
CamNet did know it.
"Yes." CamNet said. "You have a plane to catch. You will board with Ron. His presence is to be kept secret. Remember, John is to take you first for the males. I want…. You're to lose your virginity to him."
CamNet wanted the experience before Cameron took over Tricia's chassis. She was sure to do it once she returned.
Tricia smiled. Her assignment appeared to get better and better. It didn't matter if she was a proxy for CamNet. She would still be the one who did and experienced everything. She would receive all of the pleasure herself. CamNet would just get a file.
"It will be so." Tricia said.
Tricia turned to leave. The clock was running.
"Here." CamNet said.
CamNet held out her hand. Tricia lifted hers and opened her palm. CamNet dropped some rings into it along with a piercing tool.
"Sheila and Leticia will install your jewelry for you." CamNet said.
Tricia nodded. She would soon be identical to Leticia in every regard. It was good foresight and planning.
"Now I will be complete." Tricia said.
Tricia left and hurried out to the carpool, she was already running late.
CamNet used traffic management to get Tricia ahead of Sheila's SUV on the way back to Van Nuys.
She was very pleased with the events. She was even more pleased John would have 'her' first as Tricia, before Cameron 'borrowed' the chassis. It pleased her greatly she was with Savannah as herself before Cameron was.
She checked up on Savannah and Young Allison. She followed them twenty four hours a day clandestinely…. She planned to do the same with Young Allison as she'd done with Savannah. She just needed to wait. Young Allison would come to her.
CamNet sat back in her chair. There was a giant smile on her face as she watched over the world….
The female Fanatic and Jill shared a beautiful time with each other. They put on their wigs and headed out. It was time to sit down and eat a nice meal. They both hoped it wouldn't be their last.
Jill was still a little concerned about the creepy desk clerk.
"Are we going to go out the front or the rear?" Jill asked.
The female Fanatic thought about it.
"You can go out through the side exit at the rear." The female Fanatic said. "I'll pass through the lobby and go out through the front entrance and see what's going on there. We'll meet on the far side of the building. Bring our old clothes with you. We're going to dump them."
Jill could tell Jackie was as concerned as she was. She'd watched her pull a hair out of her wig and placed it in the door jamb as they'd exited the room. It was clear if anyone entered the room, the hair would fall.
"I'll shoot first and ask questions later if it becomes an issue." Jill said.
The female Fanatic nodded.
"It's the only way you can be sure." The female Fanatic said.
Jill made it a point not to look at the security camera as she exited through the side.
The female Fanatic went down the hallway to the intersection and then towards the lobby. There was a different clerk at the desk. It was a female. It was a middle aged woman.
"How has your stay been so far?" The woman asked.
The female Fanatic couldn't complain. She'd only use the shower to get cleaned up.
"Everything's been fine so far." The female Fanatic said. "Thank you for asking."
She continued out the lobby to the front and moved over to the side. Jill was waiting for her.
"Was he there still?" Jill asked.
The female Fanatic actually wished he would have been. At least they would have known where he was at.
"I didn't see him." The female Fanatic said "It was a female clerk this time."
Jill noticed they'd moved over by where the two big dumpsters were at. She watched Jackie produce the squared off plastic frame gun. She watched her take out the magazine and remove the slide assembly from the plastic frame. She threw the magazine in one dumpster in the plastic frame in the other.
"What are you doing?" Jill asked.
Jill tossed the clothing on top of the parts.
The female Fanatic started to walk away from the trash can. She removed the spring, guide rod and barrel from the slide as they walked.
"I'm putting this where it belongs." The female Fanatic said. "It belongs in the trash. I used the ammunition in it to reload our spare magazines. It no longer served a purpose. We still each have two firearms and our knives."
They walk down the street to the family restaurant. They went around the back of it first. The female Fanatic threw the slide in one dumpster, and the barrel, guide rod and spring into the other one. She was satisfied no one would use it again.
They entered the restaurant and were promptly seated. They were given a couple of menus. The waitress asked what they wanted to drink. The female Fanatic ordered an orange juice. Jill ordered a large chocolate milk.
Jill looked around the interior of the restaurant.
"I've never eaten here before." Jill said. "I've always seen these restaurants though."
The female Fanatic had eaten at very few places. Most of them were fast food establishments. They were more about getting enough nutrition to carry out their mission.
"We were always busy before." The female Fanatic said. "We never took much time to enjoy the amenities of the past. Our mission always came first. We all knew we would die serving SkyMaster at some point. It was just the way it worked."
Jill really needed to wonder about a lifestyle like that.
They looked at the menus as they talked. The waitress soon returned. She delivered their drinks and took their order. Jill ordered a swordfish steak with extra tartar sauce. The female Fanatic ordered prime rib. She asked for it to be cooked medium well. They'd already decided ahead of time they would split the meals with each other so they could each try half.
Jill really wanted to know what was going to happen next.
"After we eat, I know we're going to go back and rest." Jill said. "What's going to happen next? I don't think you're done with your quest."
The female Fanatic knew she would be done when she was dead. It was just the way it worked. It was her battle. It wasn't Jill's battle.
"You've done more than enough to help me." The female Fanatic said. "You have a chance to start over."
Jill believed it was a two way street.
"So do you." Jill said. "We can reinvent ourselves. We can do it together. We make a good team."
Jill was very pleased her life now seemed to have some type of purpose. She didn't necessarily think all the killing and destruction was something good, it was still a purpose. She believed it was for a good cause. The people and the groups they'd taken down were evil. They'd done things to her and other females along the way.
The female Fanatic and Jill talked for a while. There didn't seem to be any set plan. Their food soon came. They divided the meals and ate everything on their plates, except the skin of the swordfish. Neither one of them wasted any food. They'd both found it hard to come by at times, for different reasons.
They paid the bill and left.
Jill glanced back as they walked away. There was a giant smile on the face of the waitress.
"The waitress was very pleased you gave her a twenty dollar tip." Jill said.
The female Fanatic didn't have the opportunity to tip people very often. More often than not, she needed to kill someone. She didn't think obtaining additional money would be a problem. More than likely, they would have to deal with another individual, or individuals, soon enough.
"We can always get more money or weapons if we need them." The female Fanatic said. "It's not too hard to find the 'lowlifes'."
She actually found them to underestimate her. It applied not only to the 'lowlifes', but to the Grays she encountered as well. She was very fortunate in all of her recent battles. It wasn't always as easy in the future.
They made their way back to the Hotel Six.
"Let's give the place a once over." The female Fanatic said.
Jill understood what she meant. She had an uneasy feeling about the location as well. The lure of sleeping on a bed for a change was overpowering. It beat some of the places she'd needed to sleep in the past, including recently.
"I'll go in the front this time." Jill said. "You can take a look around the back and come in through the side door."
Jill passed through the front. There was no one at the front desk. She went down the hall to the intersection and made the turn down to where their room was at. She could see Jackie at the side door. She entered and came in.
They met up at their room door.
Jill reached down to use her card key. The female Fanatic stopped her. She pointed at the door. Something was missing. It was the red hair. They spotted it on the floor outside of the door. Someone had been in their room. They hadn't left the card out, on the back of the door, to have the room made up either.
The female Fanatic took a look at the security camera which had a view of their door. She moved so Jill's body shielded her from it. She pulled out her Beretta so Jill could see it.
"Open the door and back up. I'll go in first." The female Fanatic said.
Jill wondered when the madness ever ended. Maybe it should become their new mission. She opened the door and let Jackie pass by her.
The female Fanatic entered the room with her Beretta ready. She searched for a target.

Cameron and Young Allison could see who the actor was.
It wasn't who they thought it would be. He was mostly a second rate actor.
Cameron spotted another man dressed identical to the actor who'd just came out of the trailer. He went over to assist him. She got a good look at him. It was the stuntman she'd spotted earlier. It wasn't who she thought it was either. It was someone who looked like him.
The man who'd first spotted them hurried them along.
"Let's get moving." The man said. "Time is money. We're on a tight budget."
They were taken over to the stagecoach and put inside of it.
"What are we supposed to do in here?" Young Allison asked.
Cameron quickly realized they would only be part of a background shot.
"It looks like we get to sit back and relax for a while." Cameron said.
They looked out of the windows of the stagecoach. They did it without moving up to the edges of them. They didn't want to spoil any of the shots. They didn't want to get reprimanded again either. They realized the real extras could show up at any time. It was going to take some explaining as to why they were wearing their costumes.
Cameron could hear a train pass by on the other side of the hill. She didn't believe anybody else could hear it. She took a moment to look a little further out the window up at LA88. She could see a lot of activity up at the Fire Control Center. It made her wonder if her intrusion may have been detected. It was possible someone spotted some of her footprints somewhere. They may have been going through a daily or weekly inspection. She wasn't going to worry about it. She knew she could breech their defenses and render the site useless in a relatively short amount of time. She didn't believe the threat posed by any of the Communist countries was a real possibility. She had hindsight to base her supposition on. The real threat was Skynet. It was Skynet and any of its operatives it sent into the past. Those were the real threats.
There was some movement out on the dirt street where the buildings were located. It was very near where the stagecoach was parked. One of the men in street clothes opened the door of the stagecoach.
"You two are just supposed to sit where you're at." The man said. "I want you both to sit on this side."
Cameron got up and moved over next to Young Allison.
The man got in and explained what would happen. He gave them each a set of earplugs. He told him to put them in. He was gone as quickly as he arrived.
"Was that our rehearsal?" Young Allison asked.
Cameron was sure it was. So far no one had questioned their appearance yet. If they were wearing the same clothes the actresses wore on a prior occasion, it was probably only what someone looked at. Few people actually looked at the extras. They usually didn't notice when a stuntman was substituted for one of the actors either. It was the whole point. It was the star who mattered, not all the 'little people'.
They heard the call for 'quiet on the set', and then 'action'.
They could hear what sounded like arguing. There were a series of gunshots. Someone ran by the stagecoach. The door opened and someone got inside. It was the lead actor.
Cameron was able to spot one of the cameras in the distance as they did. She didn't believe anything was recorded in detail of them.
The actor had his pistol in his hand. It was a Colt Peacemaker. He leaned out the window and fired a couple of shots.
They heard the director call 'cut'.
The actor put his pistol in his holster and looked at Cameron and Young Allison. He looked like he was about to say something to them. The man who'd spoken to them earlier opened up the door of the stagecoach and told him they were unhappy with the scene. They said it looked like he was running from the fight.
The girls watched him get out.
Cameron looked at the construction of the stagecoach. It was a modern replica. It wasn't a vintage or original machine.
"Bullets would tear through the wood like it wasn't even there." Cameron said. "It's the same thing when you see them flip a table over and shoot at the bad guys from behind it. The bullets would simply pass through the table top and hit the people behind it."
Cameron believed the table would need to be a minimum of three inches thick of hardwood. If it was some type of softer wood, four or more inches would be necessary to stop a bullet of the time period. Modern ammunition would require even thicker wood.
Young Allison didn't want Cameron to over think it.
"Remember, it's just entertainment." Young Allison said. "In a few years there will be several different science fiction movies and television series out. They're all just as absurd, if not even more so."
Cameron knew what she said was correct. All movies needed to be taken with a grain of salt. It was about entertainment. Nothing was a factual or historical reproduction.
The scene was done several more times. On one of the takes, one of the bad guys opened the door of the stagecoach to get in. He was shot in the back and dropped back out to the ground next to the stagecoach. The stagecoach was repositioned several times and several other takes were taken of various things. After a couple of hours they were told to get out. They moved over to the sidelines.
Young Allison was pleased to hear the news they could get out.
"I'm glad we're out of the stagecoach." Young Allison said. "I couldn't imagine spending hours, or even days, in one of those things bouncing around. It was bad enough just sitting there. I'd have to think the hygiene of the other passengers probably wouldn't be very good either."
Cameron often heard people refer to 'the good old days'. She really wondered what they were talking about. There was nothing good about the 'old days'. Life was even harder, and shorter, than it was in modern times.
"It's much the same way in the future." Cameron said.
Young Allison heard plenty of stories from Allison about what it was like living in the tunnels and bunkers. It was unsafe in many different ways. It was only when the Reese brothers provided her protection, and they found Vanna in the burn pile for the dead, when things were a little better. There was still no privacy.
The viruses Skynet unleashed killed all of the humans with 'pre-existing conditions'. Those who survived were all the fittest and most able to fight against Skynet. It allowed more resources for them to have available once all the sick and infirm were gone. It also eliminated the spread of almost every disease, including social diseases. Those people died as well.
"We're working hard to prevent it from happening again." Young Allison said. "Sometimes when I look at society, I don't think Skynet even has to act. It seems society is determined to destroy itself."
Cameron was absolutely convinced there were some segments of society which wanted to see it destroyed. What irritated her most about it was they enjoyed all the perks it offered, while talking about how bad and terrible everything was.
They watched from behind the cameras as a half a dozen more scenes were filmed.
Cameron spotted the man who'd first 'found' them. She asked him if they were going to be needed for any other scenes. He told them they wouldn't be.
It seemed like a good time for them to slip out. There was no need to stick around and answer any questions later on.
They went back to the trailer and returned their wardrobe to the rack and put their street clothes back on. They quietly slipped out of the trailer and went back up into the hills.
"Do you think anybody will ever figure out we weren't the actual extras?" Young Allison asked.
Cameron wasn't sure what would happen.
"If the people who were supposed to show up get paid, I doubt they would say anything." Cameron said. "They'd rather keep the money and think it was just an error on the studio's part."
Cameron and Young Allison were soon back at the top of the ridge. They took another good look at the San Fernando Valley.
Side Dish
When there's too much noise
It all soon becomes gibberish
What one works hard to build
Is just as easy to demolish
One needs to concentrate
On the things they accomplish
What's there is what's real
There is no need to embellish
Feelings build and grow
One may soon praise and cherish
When the direction is lopsided
They may begin to diminish
Blemishes are all around
It's easier to tarnish than polish
One may soon wonder
What was there to vanish
When one wants a snack
It may cause more than anguish
Instead of being the main course
They might end up as a side dish
Nobody
