Chapter 1578
Part Of The Team
Ajax, a Skynet Terminator, began his inspection around the outside of the building. He checked all of the doors in the front and on the side. He then made his way around to the back. He looked at the cover on the ladder going up to the roof. It was still latched and locked. He checked the door, and the roll up door, on the south side and then moved around to the east side where the rail siding was. He went up on the dock and checked the two exterior doors for the rail siding. They were both secure. He jumped down and made his way to the double doors over the railroad siding which went inside of the building. There was some play in both of them. They were both secure. He took a look on the east side of the building. There was nothing there but a cement wall.
He went back to the south side and looked at the ladder which led to the roof. He jumped up and caught the first exposed rung. He grabbed the second one and then the third one. He pulled himself up. He was soon on the roof. He looked at the roof access hatch. He went over to it and went to move it. It seemed secure. He went and looked at the skylights. There was something about the roof hatch which bothered him. There was absolutely no play in it at all. It seemed a little too secure. He went back to look at it.
Ajax looked at the metal around the cover. He could see it had been bent. It currently wasn't. He decided to take a closer look at it from the inside before he forced it open from the outside. He wanted to check his suspicions. He didn't want to find a booby trap the hard way. He went back around to the side where he was parked. He was about to open the door they'd used before. He figured if somebody's going to booby trap one of them, it would probably be the door everyone used.
He thought about going around to the front and using the front door. It seemed like a bad idea as well. He ran around the south side and back to the east side. He stayed on the railroad tracks until he reached the double doors which opened over the track. Since there was no way to unlock them from the outside, he decided to see if he could open them. There was a certain amount of play in them. He reached down to where the pins went into the ground. It took him a while but he was able to loosen one of them. He could only move the door so far. There wasn't enough room to fit. He worked on the other one and was able to lift it as well. There was enough room for him to barely squeeze through.
Ajax was now inside of the building. He was satisfied because he hadn't tripped a booby trap.
CamNet's Terminator used his knife and started to pry one of the skylights loose. He wanted to make sure he didn't break the glass. He worked around the frame. It didn't take him long to get it loose. He was able to move the big piece of glass so he could lay it flat on the roof. He carefully laid it down. He stuck his head inside and looked around. There was still no sign of anyone.
He checked with CamNet again to verify there was no signal being transmitted from the building. There wasn't. He held onto the roof and lowered his body inside. He was at the full extension of his arms. He looked around and then dropped to the ground. He landed. His body knelt as he did. When he stood, his silenced M9 was in his hand. He didn't have a target, but he was ready.
He began to look around the building. He couldn't spot any explosives by any of the doors. It made him wonder how he would rig a booby trap if he thought there was a Terminator involved. He looked down at his feet. He spotted a tripwire only a foot in front of him. If he would have taken one more step, his foot would have caught it. He carefully bent down and looked at where the tripwire went. It went into one of the workbenches.
He was a little leery of opening the door on the workbench. it was probably rigged as well. It was what he would do. He went around to the back side of the workbench. He picked a screwdriver up off of a nearby bench and proceeded to unscrew the backside of the workbench. He only moved it a half of an inch to get his fingers inside. He ran them across the top. He found another wire. He carefully disconnected it and lowered the back of the bench down. There was a large bomb inside made from plastic explosive. He could see the front of the door to the cabinet was wired as well. He disconnected it and disarmed the bomb from the main trip wire across the aisle way.
CamNet's Terminator would need to keep a careful eye out. It was clear Ajax knew he was dealing with another Terminator.
Young Allison waited with Anna for the food to arrive. It didn't take long.
The waitress brought all the food to the table along with the three take home containers. A second waitress needed to assist her to bring everything at the same time. There was also an extra plate.
Young Allison took a moment to look at everything.
"It's a lot of food." Young Allison said.
Anna thought so too. Since she was only going to try a taste of everything. She figured she could get the take home containers ready while Young Allison started on her meal. It would also help conceal the fact she wasn't actually eating anything.
"Here, let me help you with everything." Anna said.
Anna took the extra plate and cut one of the two big biscuits in half, which was covered with gravy. She put it on the plate along with one quarter of the omelet, one quarter of the scrambled eggs and one quarter of the hash browns. She cut the smaller side out of the Porterhouse steak as well.
"Here you go." Anna said as she set the plate down in front of Young Allison.
Young Allison already started on part of the giant cinnamon roll after she drank her orange juice. She didn't think the orange juice would taste as good after the sweet cinnamon roll. She was worried it would actually taste quite sour.
"Thanks." Young Allison said. "I only took a quarter of the cinnamon roll."
Anna proceeded to divide the remainder of the food up into the three take home containers while Young Allison ate. She cut everything up into bite sized pieces. She didn't think a plastic knife would be too effective against the Porterhouse steak. She actually believed the plastic fork would bend or break first.
Young Allison was pleased with the assistance. She also wanted to make sure Anna updated her database.
"Don't forget to try a small taste of everything." Young Allison said.
Anna did as she cut and divided everything. She put one quarter of the cinnamon roll with each of the take home containers as well.
Randy and Brian arrived just as they finished up.
Anna was pleased to receive the news. It would ensure better protection for Young Allison if they went by the park. It seemed to be what would occur.
"The full Detail is here." Anna said.
Young Allison noticed. She really would like to share more things with them.
"I saw them arrive." Young Allison said. "It's too bad none of them eat. There's a nice plate of food for everyone."
Anna did think it was a nice selection. It wasn't for them.
The waitress returned and asked if they needed anything else. They didn't. She left the bill and Young Allison gave her a twenty dollar tip. She was very appreciative.
They paid the bill and went outside.
Mel was behind the wheel of their SUV.
"I figured you would need to get out at the park." Mel said.
Young Allison smiled at him. She thought it was good planning.
"I hope so." Young Allison said.
She really hoped it was for a good reason, and not a bad one this time.
Randy and Brian drove by them and waved.
Anna was informed of what their current mission would be. She thought it was a good one.
"They're going to scout out the park ahead of our arrival." Anna said.
Young Allison nodded.
Mel pulled out once they were buckled in and the food was stowed on the floor in the back between Anna and Young Allison. They were off to the park.
John Henry could see John was going to be tied up. It would avoid any immediate flak. He gave Derek and Kyle a complete rundown.
Bob and Jim already possessed all the information.
Derek and Kyle were a little surprised at all of the activity which occurred last night.
"So, those weren't earthquakes." Derek said.
John Henry wanted to keep it simple.
"Not in the normal sense, but they feel the same." John Henry said.
Kyle thought so.
"I'll say." Kyle said.
Derek was impressed Young Jesse was the one who set the latest nuclear device off. Everything related to 'Jesse' still fascinated him. Sheila always 'toyed' with him too. Once Jesse was in one's bed, or on one's mind, she never got out.
"I want to get this straight." Derek said. "The Resistance has used nuclear weapons four times."
Bob wanted to make it clear.
"In this timeline, Cameron and Savannah also used one in her future." Bob said. "One of the times here was actually two different ones, which went off at the same time."
Bob figured it was because they wanted to be sure.
Kyle was impressed by who used them.
"It was the girls or Cameron who all did it though." Kyle said. "It was Savannah, Young Allison, and Young Jesse who all actually set them off, the recent ones."
John Henry didn't want to get into the details. One was set off using a power cell from Cammy. She was equipped with two of them. It was on a timer which was set decades before. It was done on a 'temporal field trip'.
"Basically, yes." John Henry said. "Summer made sure it happened the last time. She was the one who made sure it would be available."
Derek and Kyle thought about it. The youngest members of the Resistance, all hit with the most force. If they wanted to make a 'statement', they did. Then again, their actions were conclusive. It was the only way to be sure.
"How much of it was Cameron's influence?" Kyle asked.
John Henry knew Cameron disapproved of the girls using them, and willing to set them off manually as they'd been prepared to do on one occasion.
"Cameron has been influential in their upbringing." John Henry said. "Cameron was not present when the girls used them on their own. They did it on their own accord."
Derek and Kyle remembered Young Allison as she ran through the 'knock out gas' with a silenced pistol in each hand killing Grays all around her. She didn't have a mask and needed to hold her breath. It was probably the most impressive thing they'd ever seen. It was only a week ago!
"We have a lot to live up to." Derek said.
Kyle wondered if they could.
"Savannah has seen a lot of action. Young Allison and Young Jesse jumped in on their own." Kyle said. "None of them needed to do any of those things."
John Henry wondered if anyone else could have matched them.
"No, but they did." John Henry said. "Summer has done her part from here."
Derek and Kyle looked around to make sure Claire wasn't nearby. They knew Summer and Young Allison didn't want their mother to know the full extent of their involvement. It was almost as absurd as it was understandable. They'd both killed, or been responsible for a lot of dead Grays, Fanatics, and the anti-Metal faction.
"They all deserve to be recognized for what they've done." Derek said. "I would be proud to serve with any of them."
Kyle nodded. It was time to move on.
"I agree." Kyle said. "Let's get down to business."
Derek was still upset he was tagged earlier. It was personal to him.
"It's what we're here for." Derek said.
They wanted to be part of the take down of the machine shop and welding shop. It already happened last night.
Bob felt they possessed some tangible information to work on.
"We have two addresses the manager called." Bob said. "It's where our recon will take us."
Jim didn't want them to get carried away. Derek and Kyle were supposed to be kept out of combat.
"Remember, it's just a recon." Jim said.
Derek and Kyle looked at each other.
"It's just a recon…." Kyle said.
Derek and Kyle figured it would be more. They seemed to have a way of turning recons and surveillance into a combat operation. It was what they were trained and qualified for anyway. Their goal was to stop Skynet. They would personally like to keep the girls out of the action if possible. As much as they didn't want to think about it, it was clear the girls were all ready for the future. The question was, was the future ready for them?
The four of them left John Henry behind. They geared up and headed to the carpool. They were on the road in no time.
Hanna-Camille and Young Jesse inspected the jet and refueled it.
"Do you know when Cammy, Sheila, and Leticia will be back?" Young Jesse asked.
Hanna-Camille could only guess what they were up to.
"I think it will be soon." Hanna-Camille said.
Hanna-Camille received an update from CamNet.
"We can go into the new hangar." Hanna-Camille said.
Young Jesse wondered why they couldn't go into the old one. She didn't ask. Ron was in there right now. Tricia was about to arrive before Sheila, Cammy, and Leticia did.
"Is there something new?" Young Jesse asked.
Hanna-Camille received an update from CamNet about something specific Young Jesse expressed an interest in.
"Yes." Hanna-Camille said.
Young Jesse felt some excitement.
"Let's check it out." Young Jesse said.
They entered through a door after Hanna-Camille entered a code.
Right in the front was an AT-37. It needed to be refurbished.
Young Jesse's mouth dropped open a little. It was something she'd expressed interest in only a few days ago.
"Cameron got a 'Dragonfly' already?" Young Jesse asked.
Hanna-Camille knew it was also referred to as a 'Super Tweet'. She personally liked the name 'Dragonfly' better as well. Dragonflies could catch their prey in flight, and even consume it as they continued flying. It sounded like an agile and efficient predator.
"Yes." Hanna-Camille said. "She knew you liked it."
Young Jesse was pleased. She liked its capability. The minigun was nice too.
"The little squirt can carry a lot of ordnance." Young Jesse said.
They looked the plane over. It sat very low to the ground. They opened it up and sat side by side in the cockpit.
"CamNet has informed me there will be one of these waiting for us when we return home, if we return home." Hanna-Camille said. "Your protection Detail has already started to refurbish it."
Young Jesse noted Hanna-Camille's choice of words about returning home.
Hanna-Camille was updated by CamNet.
"Sheila, Cammy and Leticia are back." Hanna-Camille said. "We can continue our journey. It appears we will take a side trip on the way."
Young Jesse wanted to look around more but they were ready to go. They exited the AT-37 and closed it up. She took one more look at it and touched the wing as they left. She really liked the little jet.
"Let's go." Young Jesse said.
Ally kept Laura and Mary busy in the Executive Suite. She was able to please both of them several times, at the same time. She tried to time it so they would have finishes at the same time. Not everything was predictable in that regard. It did work out a few times. Mary was always easier to achieve a finish than Laura was. It always surprised her. She thought it would be the other way around. One thing on Laura was twice the size as the one on Mary.
CamNet contacted her everyone was about to return. They would take off soon as well. They needed to wrap things up for now.
Minutes ago:
Tricia arrived at the airport and parked her SUV in front of the first Resistance hangar. She hurried inside and met up with Ron. They would board the 727 as soon as the others got on board.
Hanna-Camille and Young Jesse exited the second Resistance hangar. They both saw there was an SUV parked in front of the first Resistance hangar now.
They could hear the gate open and another SUV drove in. Sheila was behind the wheel. They didn't see anyone else.
"Where are Cammy and Leticia at?" Young Jesse asked. "Did they come in the other SUV?"
Hanna-Camille was about to check with CamNet when a head popped up in the back of the SUV Sheila drove. It was Cammy. It was followed by a second head. There was a blindfold on it.
It seemed highly irregular to Young Jesse. She couldn't imagine why such extreme action would need to be taken.
"What the Hell?" Young Jesse asked. "What's that all about?"
Hanna-Camille wasn't sure. She was a little worried it could have caused an incident if someone noticed it and notified the authorities. Then again, the call wouldn't go anywhere. John Henry, or CamNet, would intercept it and make sure it didn't go anywhere.
"I don't know." Hanna-Camille said. "It should have been removed before they arrived here."
Sheila parked next to the other SUV.
Hanna-Camille and Young Jesse walked over to the SUV. Cammy was dressed but Leticia was naked. She only wore the blindfold.
Sheila got out.
Young Jesse was worried.
"What's going on here?" Young Jesse asked.
Cammy opened her door and got out.
Leticia looked at where she'd heard the voice. She recognized it.
"Hi, Jesse." Leticia said. "I wanted to condition myself for some undercover work if I was captured."
Young Jesse gave Cammy and Sheila a dirty look. She was sure they 'messed' with Leticia. She went over and removed the blindfold from Leticia. She saw Leticia's clothes were right there. She thought it was undignified.
"This is uncalled for." Young Jesse said. "You need to get dressed."
Leticia could see Young Jesse was a little upset. She didn't want Cammy or Sheila to get in trouble. She wanted to give a brief explanation. She believed the blindfold actually gave her longevity.
"It was what I wanted to do." Leticia said. "Cammy and Sheila both told me to take the blindfold off." Leticia said. "I volunteered to wear it. My hands weren't tied or anything. I could have taken it off anytime. I didn't want to see too much, you know why…."
Young Jesse shook her head. It seemed Leticia still thought they might kill her.
"No one here is going to hurt you in any way." Young Jesse said.
She didn't think she could give an 'order' like Savannah or Young Allison could. She did believe a 'suggestion', or 'comment', from her would be taken as such by John Henry and CamNet. Savannah told her she would rather give a 'suggestion' than an 'order'. The 'orders' Savannah did need to issue were usually in life and death situations.
Leticia was very pleased to see there was always some version of 'Sheila' looking out for her. She knew Sheila was based on the human girls. She believed all of them would protect her equally.
Sheila was informed she was supposed to take Leticia to the Master Suite once they got on board. No one else was supposed to go past the Executive Suite for a while afterwards. No one was to go to the rear galley until the plane was ready to take off from wherever their side trip was to be. The entire rear section of the plane was off limits to everyone until then.
The Metal girls and Young Jesse all received the same instructions.
"You three go ahead." Sheila said.
Cammy, Young Jesse and Hanna-Camille headed for the airstair.
Sheila watched Leticia dress before she got out of the SUV. She straightened her clothes some and fixed her hair as they walked towards the 727.
Leticia looked at Sheila.
"Am I part of the team yet?" Leticia asked.
Sheila smiled.
"You're part of my team." Sheila said.
They went up the airstair past the rear galley.
Leticia thought they were the last two to board the aircraft.
"Don't you need to close it up?" Leticia asked.
Sheila didn't have all of the details, but she could speculate. She really wasn't sure what all was in play yet. She figured she'd find out soon enough.
"There's another passenger, or two, who needs to board." Sheila said. "There will be a surprise for you. You just need to chill out for a few minutes."
Sheila led Leticia into the Master Suite. Leticia used the restroom. They heard the airstair being raised. The rear door was closed and secured. The engines started one at a time soon after.
Leticia knew something special was about to happen. She really didn't know what. She wondered if maybe John would be on board again. She hoped so.
The door to the Master Suite opened and someone entered with their back to them. They closed the Master Suite door. They straightened and turned around.
Leticia's eyes widened and her mouth dropped open. She stared at 'herself'.
A few minutes ago:
Hanna-Camille looked back at Cammy as they boarded the jet.
"Do you want to fly?" Hanna-Camille asked.
Cammy spotted Mary, Laura and Ally all exit the Executive Suite. They only wore their underwear and were topless. They each carried a robe and put it on. She wanted to be with Mary again.
Ally looked around.
"The front end crew is back." Ally said.
Cammy looked at Young Jesse and Hanna-Camille.
"You two can take it." Cammy said. "We have a detour on the way to Vegas."
They were all aware of it.
Mary smiled when she saw Cammy.
"It looks like you have a detour right now." Young Jesse said to Cammy.
Hanna-Camille and Young Jesse exchange pleasantries with everyone and headed for the cockpit. They began the engine start up procedure. They received an indication the airstair was up and secure. The rear door was closed and secure as well. They began to start the engines.
Ally and Laura joined them in the other two seats at the rear of the cockpit.
Cammy and Mary stood there as they taxied and then strapped in before take off in the lounge area. They planned to go to the Executive Suite once they took off.
Young Jesse sat in the pilot's seat this time. Once everything checked out, she was given priority clearance. She began to taxi towards the runway.
Seconds after the others boarded:
Ron and Tricia ran from the Resistance hangar. Ron carried a medium sized package with him. It was on his shoulder to block anyone from seeing his face.
They hurried up the airstair. They closed it and the rear door. Tricia continued forward to the Master Suite. Ron remained in the rear galley and readied himself for the flight. He'd already informed CamNet of his new acquisition.
There was a change in plans as to his departure.
The jet would have a different mission.
Previously:
Riley and Sarah headed for Jesse's room earlier. They were anxious to share with each other again. They knew Kyle and Derek were about to go out on a recon. It would give them some free time.
"Jesse and Claire went to Claire's room." Riley said as they approached Jesse's room.
They looked around them, it was clear. They went inside and closed the door. They turned the light on.
"Hello." Gail said.
Riley and Sarah both jumped.
Gail was dripping wet. She held a towel in one hand. She'd just finished a shower when she heard the door open and what they said before they entered. It looked like an 'opportunity'.
"Hi." Sarah said. "We thought the room was empty. Excuse us. We didn't mean to interrupt."
Riley and Sarah both took in Gail's naked form. Her giant breasts were very prominent. She looked neat and compact elsewhere. They turned and headed for the door.
Gail already deduced what they were about to do and why they'd chosen Jesse's room.
"You don't need to go." Gail said. "I was just about to leave."
Gail wanted to get her 'one time' in with John. She knew Cam would be done soon and John would need some refractory time. Samantha was tied up with Precious now.
Riley still felt a little bit out of place arriving unannounced.
"Really?" Riley asked. "We don't want to impose."
Gail noted the way their hands were all over each other before the light came on. She decided to see if she could get a little 'more' before she visited John later on.
"I don't need to leave just yet…." Gail said.
The three of them looked at each other. The offer was clear.
Sarah wanted to be with a Metal girl again. She wanted to get her hands on Gail. She figured she might as well just come out and say it.
"Can we do a 'three way'?" Sarah asked. "It would be just until you need to leave."
Gail quickly started to dry off. She wanted to entice Sarah and Riley a little. It would give them a little more to think about before things got started.
"Will one of you catch my back?" Gail asked as she held out the towel.
Riley and Sarah both lunged for the towel. Sarah was quicker. She turned the towel sideways and offered the other half to Riley. They both dried Gail's back and front. They worked their way around Gail twice. They didn't miss a spot.
"Wow!" Riley said as they worked on the front. "Those really are big."
Riley noted there was no sag to them at all. She'd always seemed to have some. It was more pronounced now since she was a little older.
Gail smiled.
Both Sarah and Riley thought Gail was really pretty when she smiled. She seldom did.
"You're beautiful." Sarah said. "I love your smile and everything else."
Gail was pleased they liked the way she looked. She could tell they were being truthful without even scanning them. They both looked like school girls standing in front of her as their eyes continued to roam around her body. She liked the feeling. She could tell they wanted her. It was fine with her. She wanted them as well.
"Thank you." Gail said.
The smile stayed on her face.
Gail helped Riley and Sarah strip. She liked what she saw on them as well.
"You're both very beautiful too." Gail said.
The three of them looked at each other naked.
In an instant, they were all over each other and on the bed. Things took off from there.
Both Sarah and Riley liked Gail's attributes. They both wondered how she could be so big in one area and so small in another. It was a dynamite combination.
Gail was pleased to be with Sarah and Riley. It was something she never thought would happen with either of them. Now it happened with both of them at the same time. She liked being with Sarah the best. Maybe it was because she was about to be with John soon. She would make sure she was with Sarah last before she left. They finished up one time together while Riley watched as she pleasured herself. She did the same with Riley right before Sarah. She left after a quick wipe down and dressing. She wanted to make her intentions clear going forward. She didn't think it would hurt anything to put it out there.
"Thank you." Gail said. "I look forward to seeing both of you again, together or alone."
Sarah and Riley looked thrilled.
"We do too." Riley and Sarah both said.
Gail left.
They both wondered where she went. It didn't really matter. Now they could concentrate on each other.
Sarah pinched herself.
"Ouch!" Sarah said.
Riley saw what she just did.
"Why did you do that?" Riley asked.
Sarah looked at the closed door.
"I just wanted to make sure it was real." Sarah said.
Riley looked at the closed door.
"It was real all right." Riley said.
They kissed and started in on each other. Sarah soon moved on top of Riley and moved into position. Things got good again real fast for both of them. They seemed to be even more motivated now than they were when they arrived.
Jan and Summer finished the dishes. They left the commissary before Kyle and Derek left with Bob and Jim. They didn't stop by the Command Center.
Summer hoped to be back there soon enough. Right now she needed to work with Jan and help her get started with her studies. It seemed everyone else was busy.
Cam and Holly stopped by at different times to check on them. She knew they would hook up soon enough. She knew where everyone else was at. She also knew what they were doing.
Jan was always pleased when Summer helped her. It seemed she was able to learn more. When she did her practice tests, the answers seemed to come easier to her. She thought about what the question asked and the right answer popped into her head. It was also why it was the right answer. She was better able to remember things this way.
They would study for a while and then they would practice some music. They would also stop by the gym and get some exercise in. It didn't look like anyone was free to take them to the park.
Savannah and Cameron were back on the bridge. They each wore a robe. Neither of them bothered with the tie. The robes hung open so they could see each other.
They were three quarters of the way around the circumference of the lake.
Cameron received new information.
"Let's head for the very center of the lake." Cameron said.
Savannah checked their position. She looked out the starboard side windows and then went back to the controls and turned the houseboat in the direction indicated.
"What's out there?" Savannah asked.
Cameron only knew it was where CamNet directed them to go.
"I'm not really sure. There might be a surprise when we get there." Cameron said.
Savannah could see Cameron was a little uneasy. She knew Cameron didn't like surprises.
"I'm sure it will be something simple." Savannah said. "It's nothing to worry about."
Cameron knew how deep the lake was in the middle. It was over sixteen hundred feet deep. She remembered the submarine she was on at Fisherman's Wharf. It could only dive down four hundred feet. The lake was four times deeper there. What if she fell overboard?
"I'm fine." Cameron said.
A glitch impulse shot through her left hand. She hid it from Savannah.
"I'm fine." Cameron said again.
The female Fanatic entered the room with her Beretta ready. She searched for a target. She didn't spot one as she entered. Jill followed her into the room. Her Beretta was now in her hand as well. The female Fanatic looked in the bathroom. There was no one there.
"It's clear." The female Fanatic said.
Jill closed the door into the room. She still held her Beretta as did Jackie.
They both took a look around the room. They hadn't left anything in it when they went to the restaurant. They still had the two small backpacks they took from the thugs on the train. They didn't spot anything amiss. They both put their pistols away.
The female Fanatic decided to look a little more carefully in the bathroom. She'd been the last one in there when she'd dried off after her shower. She could see her towel had been moved.
"You didn't go in here after I came out did you?" The female Fanatic asked.
Jill hadn't.
"No." Jill said.
The female Fanatic looked at the beds. She even looked under both of them. She moved over to the window and looked at it. She opened it earlier to see if they could get out if they needed to leave that way. The window only opened a small amount because there was a 'stop' in the track. She noticed the window was unlocked. She slid it open. It opened all of the way now. The 'stop' was missing.
Jill saw right away how the window arrangement was different.
"It looks like someone planned to enter through the window later on." Jill said.
The female Fanatic wasn't so sure they planned to enter through the window. She was pretty sure they planned to take them out through the window so no one could see what happened in the hallway.
"I think we would have encountered intruders who planned to take us away." The female Fanatic said.
Jill touched her Beretta. She didn't want to end up kidnapped and in some type of brothel strung out on drugs. Maybe it was because she had the blonde wig on and Jackie had the red wig on. They would bring good money on the other side of the border.
"Does it ever end?" Jill asked.
The female Fanatic was thoroughly disgusted.
"Apparently not." The female Fanatic said. "Since we know what's going to happen, maybe we should give them a welcome when they arrive."
The female Fanatic and Jill discussed their options about what to do.
Lena and Tina both closed in on the white van as they walked on the sidewalk from opposite directions. They were both several hundred feet from the white van parked under the freeway overpass. They watched someone come down from the slope of the overpass and look around. They both stopped where they were at. It didn't look like one of the Grays. It looked like a homeless person.
Neither one of them thought they could reach him in time to prevent him from touching the white van. Neither one of them was under the overpass yet either. They were still out in the open.
Lena asked for CamNet to give the street red lights in both directions to stop the traffic flow. They were worried the homeless man was about to trip a booby trap. So far the man only looked at the white van. He looked around as he did. It was clear he knew he was about to break the law. He didn't want to get caught.
Tina watched as the man attempted to open the rear door. It looked like a really bad idea. She decided to stop him. An explosion under the overpass could damage it. It could weaken it. She didn't think there was enough explosive in the white van to bring the overpass down. It would definitely cause a major incident. She told Lena what she was going to do. Lena thought she should do the same thing.
There was a break in the traffic because the signals were all red.
"Hey!" Tina said loudly.
The homeless man looked in her direction. It didn't look like he was going to stop what he was doing. He evidently didn't perceive her as a threat. She pulled out her M9 so he could see it. He quickly backed away from the van. He moved around to the passenger side of it. He started to run. He saw another female coming. She carried a pistol as well. He looked in both directions and went back up the slope of the underpass. He figured he was better off in his hovel.
Lena and Tina put their M9 pistols away. They rapidly approached the van. They weren't sure what type of surprise the Grays left behind.

Cameron and Young Allison were soon at the top of the ridge. They took another good look at the San Fernando Valley.
"It's a really nice view." Young Allison said.
She looked down at the rocky terrain they would need to traverse to get down.
Cameron could see where Young Allison looked. She'd already looked over the terrain and decided what the best path down would be. It would be over the top of Tunnel 27 and directly into Chatsworth Park.
They could hear some more gunfire behind them. They took one last look over at the movie ranch. The stagecoach was no longer there.
"Are we going to end up on some TV show?" Young Allison asked.
Cameron didn't really know. More than likely they would. She was pretty sure her earlier stunt would be in a TV program as well. She would need to go back and review them when they returned to the time period they left from.
"If we are, we won't be recognizable in either one of them." Cameron said. "It's nothing to worry about."
Young Allison always wondered what it would be like to be in the movies. She thought a romantic role would be nice. Well, if the co-star was 'right'. From what she'd seen so far, it looked like it was a lot of work. It was clear it was a real job and not all fun and games.
It still bothered her though about the warning the makeup artist gave her about getting into show business. From the news reports she'd heard before they went into the past, the procedure still continued into modern times. Only recently had something started to be done about some of the more serious predators. It appeared they were involved with hundreds of females, and actually abused several dozen. She really wondered what the price of fame was. It seemed a little steep to her.
"I wasn't really worried." Young Allison said. "I just wondered if I would be able to see myself, or you, when we returned to our timeline. I think it would be cool if we did."
Cameron was a little concerned about something else. She hoped they hadn't appeared in any pictures or footage when they were in Dallas, when they needed to keep history from changing. It made her think about what happened. She still couldn't get the thought out of her mind the other gunmen may have missed. Maybe what they did was the actual event itself and they'd completed what the others couldn't do. Who was the third shooter? She couldn't get past Young Allison's 'dream'. It was another version of her from a different timeline. She would really like to know what timeline it was so she could visit it.
Young Allison could see Cameron was a little caught up in thought right now.
"Let's get crackin'." Young Allison said.
Cameron blinked her eyes a couple of times and started down the rocky hill. The side they were on right now had more than a few cliffs and bluffs.
They made good time on the route they took. They were soon over the top of Tunnel 27. They took a good look at the Sports Center from where they were at. They could see there were already a dozen people there. Some of them were actually playing golf.
Cameron decided the best way down would be to come down on the south side of Tunnel 27, and then down to where the railroad tracks were. There was a path which led from there into Chatsworth Park. They would be able to retrace their route to Chatsworth Street which they'd used yesterday.
They were almost directly over the eastward facing portal of Tunnel 27. They were still several hundred feet back and several hundred feet up when they heard the sound of another air horn.
Young Allison thought they could have a good view of the train coming. She believed they could spot it when it came around the curve just south of Lassen Street and follow most of its progress until the train went into the tunnel below them.
"I think we can wait here for a few more minutes." Young Allison said.
It didn't take long until they could see the train moving between Lassen Street and Devonshire street. They heard it blow for the crossing. There were trees which blocked most their view of it between Devonshire Street and Chatsworth Street.
Young Allison looked at the cars the train pulled. They all looked to be the same. They were all the same color. It appeared there was something inside of them. The load all looked the same too.
"Are those hopper cars?" Young Allison asked. "They're all loaded with something."
Cameron zoomed in on the cars. She was able to identify what they were and what they carried. It was a train which would run for years, and already had been, with the same cars.
"It's the 'beat train'." Cameron said. "The cars are actually gondola cars. They can be opened from the bottom. They have an inverted 'V' shape insert in them so the sugar beets will fall out of them when the gates are opened."
Young Allison wondered what they would do with them.
"Where do they go?" Young Allison asked. "It doesn't look like they're headed to a harbor for export."
Cameron knew exactly where they were headed.
"There's a processing plant further up the coast." Cameron said. "The sugar is rendered out of the beats. The pulp which is left over is turned into animal feed. The company which processes them actually has their own short line railroad. It's a procedure that's gone on for decades. It will go on for a few more decades still. They'll still be using the same rail cars as well. The only thing which will change will be the locomotives which haul them. It won't happen for a while yet either. We're about to see some six axle EMD units on this train."
Young Allison followed the progress of the train until it went on the back side of Stony Point. She knew it would be into Tunnel 28 in a very short while. They would be able to see its progress as it started up the grade. They would lose the view of it when it went through the Big Cut.
In just a minute, they could see the locomotives emerge from the westward facing portal of Tunnel 28.
Part Of The Team
All things can be pushed
To a point which is extreme
There's no guarantee
It will allow one to be supreme
It's up to each person
To recognize their own esteem
It's not up to others
What one can redeem
The journey may be tough
When it is goes against the stream
When the goal is reached
It will allow them to beam
Desires often outweigh reality
It allows one to dream
The reality is often different
It may end with a scream
Not all plans play out
No matter how much one may scheme
Everyone will finish the same
As part of the team
Nobody
