Chapter 1583
I'm So Excited
The building Jim and Kyle received gunfire from was hit with a gravity shot from a drone at high altitude. 'Metal hail' rained down from above. It punched through the roof in search of targets inside.
Jim and Kyle approached the building again. There was a lot of dust in the air above the roof of the building. There were pieces of it on the ground in the back. The windows were cracked or broken from ricochets or falling debris inside. So far there was no additional shooting from inside.
Kyle wanted Jim to use caution.
"Easy, Jim…." Kyle said.
Jim nodded. He approached the rear door again. There was a lot of dust inside which hung in the air. He went inside. He used several of his vision spectrums to detect any threats. He made sure Kyle stayed behind him.
Kyle looked up at the ceiling. There were hundreds of holes in it. There was a lot of debris on the floor and a lot of spent bullets. Most of them weren't even deformed.
Jim moved through the rear office area into a larger room. It was connected to the room with the roll up door. There was a lot of machinery. It was all well used. There was a spot to park the van. It was empty. There were several oil stains on the ground. He moved into a hall where there were several doors. A foot stuck out of one of them. He fired one silenced round from his M9 into the foot. The foot bounced from the impact as the bullet tore through it. There was no movement otherwise.
He looked in the room. It was a restroom. It looked like the Gray tried to hide in there when the 'metal hail' began to tear its way through the roof.
Kyle looked in the room once Jim made sure the Gray was deceased. There were multiple holes in him without a lot of tissue damage. It looked like the mass of rounds which struck him were more than enough to do the job. There was still a lot of blood.
Jim checked the next two rooms. There were beds in both of them. The beds were empty.
Kyle looked in the one room. One of the beds had a rope at each corner. It was clear a female would be held there at times. There were blood stains on the mattress in every spot. Most likely it was from beatings. He shook his head in disgust.
"What's the difference between a Gray and a Scavenger?" Kyle asked.
Before Jim could answer, Kyle answered his own question.
"The way they're spelled." Kyle said.
Jim smiled faintly and nodded. He understood the correlation.
"Affirmative…." Jim said.
They finished the search of the building. There was no one else inside. They began a search for any useful information. It looked like whoever was there cleared out. They didn't know if it was part of the group from last night or not, either way, there was only one person left behind. They were dead.
"It looks like a dead end." Jim said.
Kyle was worried about Derek and Bob. He didn't want to tie up any additional resources. He was more concerned about the other team.
"Maybe Steve and Tom can back up Bob's team." Kyle said. "We can finish the search here and then torch the place."
Derek watched the drone footage of the van and the car which tailed it.
"They're heading for a mall." Derek said. "They're going to try and lose them on foot and carjack someone else to get away."
Bob ran some calculations.
"I think you're right about it." Bob said. "We will prevent it from happening."
It would make their job more dangerous and endanger others at the mall if they didn't act.
John Henry listened to the assessment. He was about to make a recommendation when he was given new instructions from CamNet.
"The vehicles will be disabled before they reach the mall." John Henry said. "Steve and Tom are on the way. Bob and Kyle have the other building under control. There was one decedent."
Derek thought it was fast. He wasn't aware of what all was involved.
CamNet created a traffic jam in front of the van. They could sit in traffic and wait, try to make a U-turn, or go down an alley behind some buildings. They were in the right lane. A U-turn would be tough to make.
They chose the alley. The car which trailed them needed to get around two cars to follow them. They pulled up too close to the car in front of them and needed to move back and forth several times to clear the car. It allowed Derek and Bob to close up right behind them as they turned into the alley. They were directed to leave plenty of space.
Steve and Tom were already redirected by CamNet to assist Bob and Derek. The determination was made as soon as the gravity shot was taken. Based on how the roof was shredded from the drone footage, it was clear the threat inside was neutralized. It was.
Steve drove the SUV while Tom checked on his phone for the drone images. They were both fed information by CamNet and John Henry as needed.
"The van has just entered the alley." Tom said.
Steve could see the intersection ahead. They were in a good position to 'cross the T'."
"We'll block the vehicle." Steve said.
Tom already loaded an HE round in the M203 mounted below his M4.
"I think we'll do more than block the car." Tom said.
Steve blocked the road so the van needed to turn back in the direction it came from on a parallel street. They wanted to stop the car behind the van first.
John Henry watched as the van passed the midpoint in the alley. When the car approached the same spot, sparks began to fly up off of the asphalt in front of it. There was a gravity shot which took place to disable the car. Both front tires and the radiator were punctured. The car stopped in a cloud of steam. The van exited the alley and was forced to go back the direction it came from. There was a drone over it. It wouldn't get away. It could be engaged in a moment's notice.
Derek and Bob were behind the car by several hundred feet after it pulled into the alley. Steve and Tom pulled in front of it by about the same distance.
Before they could do anything, the car exploded in a massive fireball.
Based on past experience, Bob made a determination as to which group the vehicle belonged to. It seemed they preferred to go out with a 'bang'.
"It must have been the Fanatics." Bob said.
Derek often wondered why they blew themselves up, or took poison instead of fighting. If they thought they were going to die, they should die fighting. The lure of 'Ascension' was great for them. He figured they must really be 'true believers'. He really wondered what the 'reward' was which awaited them once they 'left'. He wondered what the destination was. He didn't believe there was one.
"They really must be true believers." Derek said.
Steve and Tom took off in a loose pursuit of the van. It was the real target. They hoped to be led to some bigger fish.
Derek and Bob turned around and went back out the same way they'd entered. The traffic jam was gone. They pulled out onto the street and went back the direction they came from. They would parallel the van for a while this way. Steve and Tom loosely followed it. A drone was above it and tracked it. If the van turned back towards the mall, it would be stopped the same way the car was.
Derek looked back as a cloud of black smoke billowed up from the center of the alley. He hoped the van headed back to the building where Jim and Kyle were. Maybe they could wrap things up.
Seconds ago:
The men in the van saw the car follow them into the alley. They knew they picked up a tail.
"They're right behind us still." The first Gray said.
"Beautiful…." The second Gray said.
"I wonder how they made us." The first Gray said.
"They must have had someone out." The second Gray said.
The first Gray looked in his rear view mirror.
"What the Hell?" The first Gray asked.
The second Gray looked back, he'd been checking over his weapons. There were a lot of sparks in front of the car which followed them. He believed it was their opportunity to get away from it.
"Their car's malfunctioning." The second Gray said. "Punch it."
The first Gray was going to make a left, but some moron in an SUV was sideways in the street. It forced them to turn back the direction they came. They were less than a block away when they heard the explosion. They both looked back and saw the fireball and black smoke reach up into the sky.
"It must have been the Fanatics." The first Gray said.
"It's what happens when you play with explosives." The second Gray said. "What a bunch of nut jobs."
The first Gray looked for a tail, there wasn't one.
"Just remember, if they would have had the chance, they would have used the bomb on us or our building." The first Gray said. "I think we can go back and pull Vinnie out now. The location is probably made anyway. It's just a matter of time until someone rigs a bomb and leaves it there. It's time to move on."
The second Gray looked all around them. He was still a little leery about another group. If it wasn't one group, it was another.
"Just make sure we don't pick up a tail." The second Gray said. "We'll need to dump this tub soon as well."
The van headed back toward where Jim and Kyle were at. John Henry sent them a warning.
There was a serious look on Samantha's face now as John climbed in bed next to her.
John smiled. He knew it was going to be good.
They kissed and touched each other. He slowly made his way down. He worked on her until she made it. He moved back up over her.
Her eyes were wide with anticipation.
John made his move.
"Go slow." Samantha whispered in his ear. "I've never done this before."
John always loved to hear it. It always added another layer of excitement.
"I'm so excited." Samantha whispered. "Give it to me."
After a very short time, things picked up until Samantha made it again. John did too. He went to roll off to the side but her legs came up to hold him in place as her arms around his back held him tighter. He was surprised they all did the same thing. It was fine with him.
Samantha was very pleased with her first experience. She was ready for a second one. She knew John needed some refractory time before things could get started again. She wanted to up the ante and take things a little further this time. She wanted to have control.
"When you're ready again, I want to be on top." Samantha whispered in his ear.
They kissed softly and lovingly as the time passed. It wasn't too long before everything was good to go.
She wanted to make the most of it. She rolled him on his back.
"My turn…." Samantha whispered.
John swallowed hard.
"Start me up." John said.
She moved down and went to work.
Young Allison took out her phone and looked at the drone image. Things didn't go any further than she wanted them to. There needed to be justice. By the men's own admission, they did the same thing before, more than once.
Mel, Randy, and Anna stepped in.
Payback was a bitch.
Young Allison smiled. She watched the Terminators go to 'work'.
Anna returned a short time later.
"The girl is fine." Anna said.
Young Allison noted there was blood on Anna's hands.
"I can see the perpetrators were dealt with." Young Allison asked.
Anna looked down at her hands.
"Their days of abuse are over." Anna said. "They'll never hurt anyone else again."
Young Allison watched what was done to them. They wouldn't be able to abuse any more females. She took out her water bottle and rinsed Anna's hands off. She was a little concerned about her harshness earlier. She felt it was necessary at the time.
"Thank you." Young Allison said. "It was what I wanted. I'm sorry I needed to make my point like I did."
Anna knew Young Allison was right to intervene in the first place. The men deserved to be punished. The liberal justice system favored the perpetrators over the victims. It was if the men would even be arrested, which would be even more doubtful.
"Mel carried the girl back to the park." Anna said. "Randy will join us shortly. I'm sure whatever insects live inside the ground besides worms, will be very pleased with their new find."
Young Allison was pleased with the resolution of everything. She resumed her run with Anna. She knew sometimes she needed to maker a stand.
Randy caught up to them. He nodded at Young Allison as he passed them. He would be in front of them. Mel was on his way back already. He would catch up to them in five minutes. A Terminator could cover a lot of ground in a short time.
Cammy picked Mary's nude form up and headed for the cockpit.
"Grab me a robe." Mary said as they passed Ally.
Ally looked around and grabbed two of them. She followed Cammy and Mary forward.
Laura was a little surprised to see Cammy arrive with Mary in her arms.
Mary didn't want the cabin crew to worry about her.
"I'm fine." Mary said. "I liked my special ride up to the front."
Ally handed Cammy and Mary a robe, which they put on.
Hanna-Camille was able to zoom in on the ground ahead of the jet.
"We're almost there." Hanna-Camille said.
It looked like a bunch of nothing. It was just desert and rocks.
Young Jesse glanced down at her map. It appeared a little different than the terrain ahead.
"What's the big white looking patch?" Young Jesse asked. "The map shows it as a lake."
Hanna-Camille smiled. The water was long gone from the location.
"It was a lake, Groom Lake." Hanna-Camille said. "It's just a dried salt flat now."
They could see several runways, a few large hangers and a few series of small buildings.
Laura was a little disappointed at what she viewed. It looked like a regular airport type area.
"That's it?" Laura asked.
Cammy was sure she'd been to Area 51 in the past with Sheila. She looked over toward the distance where the collapsed mountain was at. She place a large H-Bomb in a mine there in the past. One of her power cells served as the power source for the timer for decades. They knew from the present, some version of Skynet would move in there. Skynet was there along with a large power cell. Skynet didn't know what it built its 'house' upon. The explosion had been very powerful. It was why the mountain collapsed when both the giant power cell and the H-Bomb detonated. It was reported as an 'earthquake'.
CamNet and John Henry needed to suppress any investigations which were attempted to be started by a few individuals. They also needed to check for Grays or Terminators visiting the area. The Syndicate was also interested in what happened. After the incident at the hotel, they tried to find out more about the group they'd been associated with. Anyone who was sent to investigate, never returned.
Ally and Hanna-Camille both looked over in the same direction. They knew it was a close one for Savannah and Young Allison. They didn't comment on it. None of the Terminators did. They didn't want to bring it up in front of Young Jesse. She'd already experienced her own close one with a nuclear weapon in the hillside facility.
Cammy knew what was visible above ground wouldn't be anything top secret. Satellites of enemy nations had been passing over the base for decades. In the early years, any of the top secret equipment would be covered over or removed when enemy satellites passed over the location. They knew what their orbit was and what time they would arrive. It originally started as a CIA facility, and eventually morphed into an Air Force one. It was where the early spy planes were brought to be tested.
The first two major ones were the U-2 Dragon Lady and the A-12. Some early references referred to it as the 'Oxcart'. It was the first of several spy planes which shared the same basic construction. They were soon collectively referred to as a 'Blackbird'. The term was derived from the aircraft's appearance.
The later aircraft were the YF-12A and the SR-71. There was also a variation which could launch a Mach 3.3 drone it carried. The M-21 Blackbird version carried a D-21 drone on its back.
Cammy didn't want to confuse the girls with a lot of facts, even if they were relevant. They were all tested at the location.
"That's it." Cammy said. "Anything important is hidden. Satellites pass overhead all the time."
In seconds they were past it.
A few minutes later there was a noticeable unnatural change to the landscape.
Mary was a little intrigued by what was ahead of them.
"What are all those giant round circles in the terrain?" Mary asked.
The round depressions varied in circumference and depth.
Cammy was sure the H-bomb they'd taken was destined for the test site. It never made it there. All of their files from the past were still blocked. Both Sheila and her were sure they'd considered detonating the H-bomb in downtown Las Vegas to obliterate it from the map forever. They didn't. It most likely revolved around some of their interaction with the Syndicate. It was always negative. She didn't see any need to bring it up right now either.
"It's part of the Nevada National Security Site." Cammy said. "Those were all underground nuclear bomb tests."
Laura looked too. There were multiple rows of them.
"There's like hundreds of them." Laura said.
Ally knew those were the 'safer' ones. The tests had been done a little more openly before. They'd put a lot of radiation into the air. She thought about some photos she'd viewed before. One of them showed a giant cowboy sign with a mushroom cloud off to the side of it. It was in the background, but it made the point it wasn't too great of a distance.
"They used to test above ground." Ally said. "There are photos from Las Vegas with mushroom clouds visible in the background. It's not too far away."
Young Jesse was a little worried. She'd seen photos of Las Vegas and the surrounding area. There were a lot of buildings and houses there.
"Is it safe for the people who live there?" Young Jesse asked.
High cancer rates still plagued the area. She didn't think minimal exposure would be a problem. She also knew people reacted differently to the exposure of radiation. Not all of them developed the same type of cancer over the years.
"It can be for the long term residents who live there." Cammy said. "Visitors are fine."
Hanna-Camille gave Young Jesse a new heading. She banked the jet over and headed for Las Vegas. They would be there in minutes.
Mary could see Laura looked disappointed. She really wondered about it herself as well.
"Did you think you were going to see aliens?" Mary asked.
Laura hoped she would have seen a few spaceships parked on the tarmac or visible in a hanger.
"Yes." Laura said.
Cammy didn't want them to have illusions. She'd give them some simple facts about distance and time.
"When you look at the stars, you're not looking at the future. What you see is the past." Cammy said. "Some of what you see is what it looked like millions of years ago. It's how long it takes for the light to reach Earth. Whatever is actually there, could be different or gone by now even. It would take centuries for any aliens to reach Earth, if not thousands of years."
It was disappointing for Mary and Laura to hear. They knew there were thousands of reports about objects in the sky.
"What about all the UFO sightings?" Mary asked.
Ally smiled. She wanted to give the girls something to think about. She also stated another fact.
"Area 51 isn't the only secret government test facility." Ally said. "Everyone needs to get ready. The jet will land soon."
Everyone who wasn't dressed, went and did so.
Earlier:
Sheila-Tricia stood and watched as Leticia and Tricia-Sheila shared for the first time. She also checked out her 'new' chassis. She actually really liked it.
It soon evolved into a three way.
They'd missed out on Area 51. They didn't miss much.
Leticia needed to rest. Tricia-Sheila could see they were going to 'push' her too far. She didn't want to do it again.
Leticia was unable to speak at first.
"Breathe, love." Tricia-Sheila said.
Leticia finally focused her eyes.
"Are you going to keep the new body?" Leticia asked.
Sheila-Tricia hoped not. She was supposed to be with John in it. She sent Tricia-Sheila a message.
"I can if you want me too, or I can 'borrow' it like I'm doing now." Tricia-Sheila said. "It's possible to give you the best of both worlds."
Leticia looked at both of the 'bodies'. She liked Sheila how she was before.
"I do like 'myself', but I want you to be you." Leticia said. "I love you."
Tricia-Sheila was pleased to hear it.
They received word they would be in Las Vegas soon.
"In that case, you can unplug us." Tricia-Sheila said.
Leticia did.
They cleaned up and dressed.
Leticia thought about Sheila's comment. When she mentioned the best of both worlds, it made her wonder exactly how extensive it could be.
"Can you borrow the other 'special girls' bodies?" Leticia asked.
Sheila had done it at some point with all of them. Those were all done with chip swaps. The participants were usually rather upset when their chassis was returned. It took the 'modifications' she'd made some time to regenerate. She always told them people paid 'good money' to have the same procedure done in a clinic.
"Yes." Sheila said.
Leticia looked at Tricia and Sheila. She wanted Sheila to know how she felt now. She felt it was important to say.
"I can't believe how special you are." Leticia said. "I love everything about you even more."
Sheila wanted to make sure. She wanted to make sure her true nature was understood.
"Is it still true, even if I'm a machine?" Sheila asked. "I'm not a human or even alive."
Tricia was a little concerned about where things were headed. She was curious to see how it played out.
Leticia was pleased with the honesty.
"I love you even more then." Leticia said. "You're still you, no matter what you are. What else matters? I'm yours forever."
Sheila smiled and gave Leticia a kiss. She didn't even need to scan her to know she was truthful. She' did it anyway, just to make sure.
Tricia liked her attitude as well.
Savannah could tell Jameron-Cameron made it. She lifted her head.
"Is it what it's like?" Savannah asked as she wiped the back of her hand across her mouth.
Jameron-Cameron knew from past experience in a male chassis she'd 'experimented' with.
"Yes, but there isn't two hundred million 'little soldiers' swimming around in it." Jameron-Cameron said.
Savannah wiped her mouth off with the back of her hand a second time.
Jameron-Cameron smiled and moved down lower on Savannah. She wanted to make sure everything was 'warmed up'.
"My turn…." Jameron-Cameron said.
Savannah closed her eyes as Jameron-Cameron started in.
"It's what I like." Savannah whispered as her head and neck moved to the side.
Savannah sucked in her breath and arched her back some. She'd made it already.
Jameron-Cameron only worked on her for a very short time.
"That was quick." Jameron-Cameron said.
Savannah giggled.
"I'm so excited." Savannah said. "Give me what I want. I've waited a long time for this."
Savannah was glad at this point she'd already had two children. She really hoped it would make the next phase a little smoother. She'd read plenty in Cosmo about it. I did cause some anticipation.
Jameron-Cameron was filled with excitement as he moved over the top of Savannah. It was something 'she' always wanted to try as a 'he'. She'd wanted to see what it was like from the other end.
"I'm so excited, too." Jameron-Cameron said.
Savannah's eyes were filled with love. She was ready to share it all.
"I'm glad it's going to be you, Cameron." Savannah whispered. "You'll always be my first."
Jameron-Cameron was ready for everything as much as Savannah was. He made his move.
Savannah cringed a little at first.
"Go slow." Savannah whispered. "I've never done this before."
Jameron-Cameron was very nervous too.
"Neither have I." Jameron-Cameron whispered. "At least from this end I mean."
Savannah giggled and sucked in her breath and held Jameron-Cameron tighter as everything started to happen.
"It's for real." Savannah gasped. "I'm really not a virgin anymore."
Savannah and Jameron-Cameron locked in a deep kiss as things picked up. Savannah gasped for a breath.
Jameron-Cameron was more than pleased with the experience. It was much better than she anticipated. It was certainly much better than Rosie.
"Everything feels nice, Savannah." Jameron-Cameron said. "I can't believe it."
Jameron-Cameron now understood why John could never get enough. It made her wonder how anyone could. She knew one thing, she wanted more.
Savannah adapted in seconds. It was much quicker than she thought. It appeared the two children did help. Her breathing deepened as Jameron-Cameron picked up the pace.
"Don't stop…." Savannah gasped. "Don't stop…."
Jameron-Cameron felt Savannah's nails lightly dig into his back as she grasped her tightly.
"Yes. Yes…." Savannah gasped. "YES! Y-E-S-!"
Jameron-Cameron couldn't hold it any longer.
It was wonderful. They'd finished together.
Savannah was glassy eyed and full of love.
"It was my most beautiful time ever." Savannah gasped. "I love you so much, Cameron."
Jameron-Cameron knew it was his too. He believed since it was the first time for both of them, it made everything even more special. He was very satisfied with the experience. Savannah provided him with a level of pleasure he never even imagined before. How could he? 'He' was normally a 'she'. Not only was it easier, it seemed it was better to give, than it was to receive.
"Me too, Savannah, I love you." Jameron-Cameron said.
Jameron-Cameron went to roll off of Savannah.
Savannah grasped Jameron-Cameron tighter and brought her legs up to hold Jameron-Cameron in place.
"We can roll on our sides." Jameron-Cameron whispered. "I don't want to be too heavy."
They did and kissed. They were still locked together as one. Neither one of them ever wanted to let go.
Jameron-Cameron was a little concerned about what occurred.
"How do you feel?" Jameron-Cameron asked softly. "You know what I mean."
Things actually went much smoother than Savannah anticipated. She was relieved it did.
"Maybe I'm just a little tender, but it didn't hurt." Savannah said. "It was a new and different experience for me."
Jameron-Cameron remembered the first time with John as Cameron. It felt much the same way. She was pretty sure John wasn't her first. She really wondered who was. She didn't want to think about it right now. She paused and deleted the last thought. It was gone as if it had never been there. She wasn't a 'she' right now. She was a 'he'.
Savannah was very excited and ready for more. She'd watched plenty of internet videos over the years.
"I want to try every position." Savannah whispered.
Jameron-Cameron was thrilled with the prospect.
"Do you mean every position?" Jameron-Cameron asked.
Savannah giggled. There was one thing she didn't intend to try.
"I want every female position." Savannah said. "We won't do the other one…."
Jameron-Cameron knew he was going to be limited in that regard if he stayed at a human performance level.
"I won't be able to do much unless I use some of my Terminator capabilities." Jameron-Cameron whispered. "The refractory time interval can be bypassed. The actual performance will still be at human level."
Savannah swallowed hard. She wanted more. She wanted it now.
"What are we waiting for then?" Savannah whispered. "Take me again…."
Savannah always thought John was going to be her first. Instead it was Cameron as 'John'. How could anything be better than that?
She was even more pleased her first experience wasn't taken from her like it was with all the girls from the future. Now both Young Jesse and her had a choice. She wanted to make sure Young Allison had this same choice. Maybe it was time to loosen the reins. It was what everyone else was doing anyway. Many celebrities bragged about how young they were when they started. It didn't seem to bother anyone to hear the news. If anything, it seemed to be celebrated.
CamNet's Terminator was instructed to go to the building where the six men who'd left the building earlier went. There were clearly more targets at the location. It appeared to be comprised of at least two buildings.
He loaded Ajax in the back of the SUV. He made sure the building was locked up. He pulled up past the gate and closed it. He drove away towards his new target. He'd provided CamNet with an option to place the boxcars.
The drone over the new target location hadn't shown any new arrivals or departures. It appeared the two buildings were currently on lock-down. They awaited Ajax's return. It wasn't going to happen.
CamNet's Terminator currently possessed the phone Ajax used. He was also aware of what his voice sounded like. What he didn't know was if there were any code words or phrases used. So far in the interaction between the various individuals, none had been detected.
There were more drones sent to patrol the new location. It was in case anyone left. They would be followed by the drone to see where they went. More drones were dispatched to visit some of the other locations over the last few days as well. There was a lot of activity. There was the Resistance activity, and the 'off the books' activity.
CamNet detected some suspicious activity at one of the prior locations. There was no way to know what would happen at the two locations where the six men arrived. There was someone concerned about the missing locomotives at the facility she 'borrowed' them from. She changed the records to indicate they were used on a freight train, which they hadn't been, and were now at another location. They were since dispatched on another train. The search for them ended from the railroad facility.
The two locomotives and two boxcars were currently on a siding. It was one she could control because of the automatic switches. They'd been parked at another siding elsewhere. They appeared to catch the attention of some homeless people. She'd dispatched the local police department to the location. She would have attempted to move the two locomotives and two boxcars if they would have been tampered with. If she couldn't move them before someone would be able to tamper with them. They would get a dose of 'metal hail'. Her major concern would be the Border Rail Gang. They would be dealt with accordingly.
CamNet still went over the activity which occurred with the two rival gangs in some type of apparent confrontation. It was a train which passed by the facility Tina and Lena took down earlier. Even though there was no evidence of it, she'd suspected the female Fanatic was behind it. So far she hadn't been able to pick up any images of her or her accomplice. She believed she scored a hit at one point, but they were a redhead and a blonde.
The female Fanatic was responsible for the destruction of a number of Skynet related facilities and locations. She was highly resourceful. She would like to have her captured alive if possible. She wanted to personally interrogate her about her loyalty and belief in SkyMaster. She also wanted to know more about 'The Redheaded Witch' and 'The Good Skynet'. So far there was no indication she survived the last encounter with the unknown portal and Skynet forces.
CamNet's Terminator was redirected to investigate suspicious activity at one of the locations they previously took down. The other building could wait for now.
The female Fanatic and Jill would decide what their next move would be when they woke up. They both slept with a Beretta under their pillow.
Lena and Tina followed several blocks behind the procession in front of them. They were informed what CamNet did to motivate them to act. It all began to unfold.
The black SUV followed the white van. They didn't know if the homeless man took it or not. It may have been taken by a group tailing them.
CamNet sent text messages to the three gang vehicles and the white van driven by two gang members. They were to attempt to stop the black SUV once they led it to a more remote location. None of the gang members question the texts between each other. They were aware something hit their vehicles and they thought it was from the black SUV. They were anxious to find out a little more on their own anyway. They wanted to find out who displayed such disrespect for them, especially on their own turf.
The black SUV continued to follow the white van. It drove for some distance and made several turns. It went around the side of a closed electronics store to the back.
The two gang vehicles trailed behind the black SUV.
The black SUV made the turn around to the rear of the electronic store and stopped abruptly. They could see the van was stopped and there was another vehicle next to it. Two other vehicles appeared behind them. It was apparent there was about to be a confrontation of some type.
Before any of the gang members could get out of their vehicles, both of the rear doors on the black SUV opened as well as the two front doors. The two men who came out the rear doors were each armed with a LAW rocket. They were immediately armed and fired. The man who exited from the passenger's side had an M203 mounted below his M4. He made sure he was clear of the blast of the LAW rocket of the man behind him and fired at the other vehicle.
The driver carried an M4 as well. He could hear the three cars explode as he waited for his target. The driver's door opened on the white van and the man stepped out with a pistol in his hand. He was immediately shot and fell next to the vehicle. The passenger, who'd fired the M203, shot the man who exited from the passenger door of the white van. He acquired another target a few seconds later.
Lena and Tina watched everything unfold. They spotted one man as he tried to get out of one of the vehicles hit by a LAW rocket. He was missing an arm. He fell out onto the ground next to the burning and smoking vehicle. His pants were on fire. He no longer moved. One of the men in the vehicle hit with the grenade from the launcher was a little more fortunate. He was able to make it out of the vehicle. He watched his associates from the white van get out and be shot almost instantly. He joined them on the ground a few seconds later.
The female Terminators were several blocks away as they watched everything unfold. They quickly realized the ambush was intended for them.

Cameron pulled off of their street onto Chatsworth Street. The 118 Freeway was more than a decade away. They would need to take surface streets.
Young Allison looked around.
"What's the best way to get there?" Young Allison asked.
Cameron didn't think they had a lot of choices.
"The 405 Freeway isn't finished through Sepulveda Pass yet." Cameron said. "It leaves Sepulveda Boulevard, one of the canyon roads, or the segment of the 101 Freeway which goes through Cahuenga Pass. We could always take Topanga Canyon Boulevard to Pacific Coast Highway and cut in on Route 66 near the Santa Monica Pier which will become the beginning of the 10 Freeway."
Young Allison was a little dissatisfied with the lack of modern freeways. There wasn't much they could do about it. It was better than what they'd faced in Texas. She was glad they took the Sunset Limited back instead of driving. At least if they went on any long trips now, they could take one of their vehicles and wouldn't need to worry about being caught driving one which was stolen.
"You're driving so I'll let you pick it." Young Allison said.
Cameron turned right on DeSoto Avenue. She made a left hand turn on Devonshire Street.
"We're on the 118 of this time period." Cameron said.
Young Allison thought the surface streets left a little to be desired. One thing she noticed, which was actually irritating, was there were a lot fewer signals but a lot more stop signs. Those all required a 'hard stop'. She thought about some of the other places she wanted to visit.
"Are we going to go to the Tehachapi Loop?" Young Allison asked.
Cameron planned to at some point. There were several ways they could visit it. They would probably do more than one of them.
"Of course we will." Cameron said. "We can ride the San Joaquin Daylight on the Southern Pacific. We can leave from Union Station or pick it up along the way. If you want to ride on the Santa Fe, we'll need to take a bus from Union Station to Bakersfield which connects with the Golden Gate. Santa Fe discontinued the through train service between Union Station and Bakersfield a while back. It was because of their longer route to reach Los Angeles. They need to go through Barstow and Cajon Pass. They could never match the schedule of the Owl or the San Joaquin Daylight on the Southern Pacific. The San Francisco Chief runs over Tehachapi for the Santa Fe. It's part of the route from Chicago. It never goes to Los Angeles."
Young Allison would like to try one of the trains once. It would be a day trip.
"We can do whatever you want." Young Allison said.
Cameron was tempted to head to Route 99. She could take it to US Route 6 and head through the Antelope Valley. There were several things she wanted to achieve in the area.
They pulled up to a red light. Young Allison could see Cameron was a little lost in thought as she drove. Maybe it was time for her to take over the wheel for a while. She could hear the throaty roar of another car approaching.
Young Allison glanced over and saw an Impala pull up next to them. There were two young men in it. They looked like troublemakers to her.
The throaty roar of the Impala increased as the driver revved the engine several times.
"Hey, Baby, what do you got in that thing?" The first punk asked.
Cameron was instantly alert as the Impala pulled up next to them. She disliked what she saw for several reasons. She glanced over at the first punk. She looked at the moniker on their front fender which indicated the cubic inch displacement of the Impala. It said '409'. She was ready for the challenge. She hoped to get under their skin. It would make them more careless.
"More than you can handle." Cameron said.
Young Allison suppressed a laugh. She could see where things were headed.
The two punks seemed rather indignant
"What do you know about anything?" The second punk asked. "I'll leave you sitting at the light when it turns green. I got the fastest car around. They even made a song about it."
Cameron looked around. She looked at the driver.
"Where's your driver at?" Cameron asked. "Who's going to drive the car?"
It was clear the two punks were irritated by her statement.
"I'm sitting right here, Bimbo." The second punk said.
Cameron shook her head with disgust.
"What a waste of machinery." Cameron said.
Cameron glanced over at Young Allison.
Young Allison saw the signal for the cross traffic turn yellow. She looked over at Cameron.
"Smoke him…." Young Allison said.
Young Allison quickly thought about the implications of her words. She hoped Cameron didn't pull out her Hi-Power and shoot both of them.
Cameron revved up the engine. The high performance 427 roared to life. She looked around and calculated all of the variables for any potential traffic. There were no authorities in sight.
"All right, boy, let's go, prove it." Cameron said.
The two punks were itching for a race.
Both of the cars revved their engines.
The light turned green.
Cameron dumped the clutch at 4000 rpm. The XL took off like a rocket. The limited slip rear end did its job. Both rear tires laid down rubber, as they left a cloud of smoke.
The 409 did a fairly good job. It couldn't match the street legal race car. It never stood a chance. Cameron pushed it to 6800 RPM before she shifted into second. She didn't take it all the way up to the red line. She could see she didn't need to.
Young Allison was shoved back in her seat when the Galaxie took off. She knew raw horsepower when she felt it. In just one second, they shot away from the Impala and were pulling away from it.
By the time Cameron shifted into third gear the Impala already fell behind. They quickly made a right hand turn at the next street. Evidently they didn't want to face the 'Bimbo' who'd just 'blew their doors off'.
Young Allison was thoroughly impressed.
"You totally shut him down." Young Allison said.
Cameron quickly slowed back down to the speed limit.
"I thought the 409 might do a little bit better than it did." Cameron said. "The punk was probably used to racing small blocks. He was inexperienced. Chevy recently came out with a stroked 409, which was also a 427. It was the first generation design. In order to compete with the Ford engine, they needed to redesign a second generation engine of the same displacement. It won't be around for a few years yet. The second generation design will eventually expand into the 454."
Young Allison was impressed.
"Did you know you could beat him?" Young Allison asked.
Cameron smiled. She knew any car she could stay even with through first gear, she could beat. With four bolt mains, and mechanical lifters, she could easily push it to 7000 RPM. She knew the other engines out there wouldn't be able to do so. She could easily out rev any engine constructed with hydraulic lifters. She knew the 427 was 'bulletproof'. It would continue to be improved for the next few years as well. There would even be a single overhead cam version with a hemispherical combustion chamber. It was capable of 700 horsepower.
"You know what FORD stands for don't you?" Cameron asked.
Young Allison understood. She did know what FORD was an acronym for.
"First On Race Day…." Young Allison said.
Cameron and Young Allison continued their journey to the bank.
I'm So Excited
It's easier to see the path
When the trail is lighted
It will also allow one to see
What shines or is blighted
When a direction is chosen
The journey can be expedited
All must stay on alert
Especially for the uninvited
Two with the same thoughts
Must not become nearsighted
When the spark is there
Everything will soon be ignited
What starts out smoothly
Can easily become very complicated
As disappointment builds and grows
It can leave everyone frustrated
Two may tangle and butt heads
It can take some time to become united
Soon everything clicks into place
Allowing one to say: I'm so excited
Nobody
