Chapter 8 The Epilogue

Hello. What brings you to my holocron?

So they sent you to me? That's not a surprise. We have a few things in common. There's not many former Sith within the Jedi Order, after all.

I suppose they hope I'll somehow persuade you of the superiority of the Jedi's teachings-I can't do that. You're not going to be argued into the position of rejecting the Dark Side. You'll have to experience it for yourself-we all do. I certainly did.

Yes, the Dark Side comes easier, but easier does not always mean better. You should know that more than most-you succeeded as a Sith by fighting and constantly grasping for power, when complacency might have been easier. In combat, it is certainly easier to indulge emotions, rather than to practice self control, and therefore the Dark Side comes easier than the light. But strength is a different matter entirely.

Tell me. Can you name another sith that you trusted with your life? In a combat situation, could you trust them to protect you? Could you trust that they would not turn on you if it was advantageous for them?

I thought not.

The true power of the Light is in the unity that Jedi achieve. Jedi work together with a unity that can overwhelm any opponent. They can complete grand workings with the Force that a single Sith could never hope to match.

The peace that can be found within the Jedi, within the Light Side of the Force, is unlike anything that the Sith can offer you. It is addictive; euphoric, even. It brings happiness and satisfaction that cannot be found among the Sith because the Sith are diametrically opposed to the things that bring such calmness and clarity.

I look forward to helping you grow in the Light.

Welcome to the Jedi.

The End

A/N:

Thanks for joining me in this journey. I know it's very short, but I intend to write the Story of the Jedi Consular someday, and I didn't want this tale to overlap too much with what I have planned for her.

I have outlined three additional stories for this series, detailing different points where the Sith Inquisitor abandons the course that SWTOR has set for her. They are:

To Be A Pirate

To Be A ((Something))

To Be A Sith

The OG Sith Inquisitor will return in Book Two: Dromund Kass.
