Mobs are 50% anger and 50% peer pressure.
They go and get a bite to eat. Or rather a lot of bites to eat, seeing as how they both have enhanced metabolisms from being genetically modified bird kids.
Max has gotten Ari to learn how to materialize money. She was taught morals, and having morals means paying for things in stores. Neither Ari nor the rest of the flock really get her insistence on that, but she is the leader, so they follow it.
Today they try a fancy restaurant, like Max has always wanted to try but never had the money to do. The sauce is better tasting, but the food comes in smaller quantities, so its probably not a good thing to get into the habit of.
They walk out of the restaurant and come across a budding mob in the streets.
Max finds herself very graceful for the baggy and dramatic coat she has acquired to hide her wings.
"Are you here to join us in mobbing Itex?" A girl wearing a suspiciously similar style of coat to Max asks.
"After what that Fang kid exposed on his blog? Who wouldn't be!" A young man cries out, from across the street.
"You mean that uncited, unproven yet popular web blog by some teenager who claims to be an escaped experiment from there!" A friend of his cries out.
The man turns around to his friend. "Sasha, have you not spent your life wanting to destroy big companies for the harm they inflict on the psyche of the people?"
Sasha stumbles. "Yes- but."
"Then put your money where your mouth is, or sit down and shut up about it. I'm going to destroy Itex with the power of Anarchy. Are you with me or not?"
Still, Sasha hesitates. "It lacks solid evidence." Sasha mumbles.
"Then come with us and find evidence. Or not. " The friend demands.
And with that push, Sasha walks into the mob of people.
Max turns to Ari.
"I know we were planning to go to Florida, but do you want to destroy the local Itex first."
"Do you even need to ask!" Ari demands.
Destroying Itex with the local flash mob is very cathartic. Max and Ari get to use their well honed fighting skills against scientists, the test subjects are released, and when all is said and done, numbers are exchanged and Max and Ari are given a ride to the next city where an Itex mobbing is planned to take place in a few days.
