Personality: Yamato considers himself a truly responsible and intelligent person who worked hard to get to where he is today, he provides for both himself his family and his younger brother Yuri Naosu, Yamato can be quite assertive but doesn't know how to take charge by himself or be a leader relying on Katsuya for guidance, he can be quite stubborn and fixed in his ways he knows, he wears suspenders the same color as his tie on his pants.
Relationship with Katsuya: during the events of EP Yamato and Katsuya became extremely close, the two of them became very intimate with each other quickly, the two downtrodden men finding solace in each other, though Katsuya does have a crush on Maya, after the EP events Yamato quit being a teacher to become Katsuya's detective assistant/aid to repay him for helping him find his true calling in life.
