A few masked goons broke into a jewelry store, late at night feeling confident they had sneaked in easy peasy. One saw a vault and walked right through it.

"That's always spooky stuff man." One of them commented.

"Maybe so, but best we got a mutant with us when you know, trying to get through something that'd ring an alarm. Nobody will know nothing."

"Actually." A voice began saying from the darkness. "When you start to form a pattern of where you're breaking into, kinda makes it a little less sneaky."

The goons panicked and looked around spotting Spider-Man.

"Hiya!" He exclaimed then immediately started hopping around the room as they started opening fire at him. "There are valuables here! Which I shouldn't have to remind robbers of!" He joked and started webbing the barrels of their guns.

Spider-Man launched himself at the goons starting to knock them down one by one, quite easily and effective. Wasn't long until they all got webbed up.

"Nice. Now where is that apparent mutant?" He wondered.

"RIght here!" They replied quickly, creaking him across the face. Which ultimately didn't hurt Spidey at all.

"Can't you hit any harder?" Peter asked, confused.

"Hard hits, not exactly my thing." The guy responded seemingly unseeable.

"Ah. Invisibility huh? Well where are you the invisible man?"

"Wrong again." A few more punches came out of nowhere.

"Alrighty smart guy, tell me what kinda power you got. Come on, tell me? You've gotta be wanting to share right?" Peter said, hoping to get an answer, as his opponent seemed pretty cocky.

"Ha. I control the shadows, their home, best place to be!" He exclaimed confidently.

Peter thought fast and pulled out his phone turning on the flashlight.

"No!" The man exclaimed, surprised, getting flashed back into the light.

"Oh yeah!" Spider-Man replied and swifted kicked him backwards against the wall, noticing an expensive necklace around his neck. "Someone likes the shiny I can see." Peter pointed out and tried webbing his foe getting the wall only.

"I like the expensive way of life!" He responded coming from around away so fast Spidey's spider sense struggled to keep up, but for a moment he grabbed a hold tossing him towards a wall then the guy vanished again. "Crap, shouldn't have thrown him."

Police bused into the place. "Hands up!" They shouted.

Peter listened, sighing to himself.

"The Crime Master will not be pleased by this!" The voice exclaimed.

The police unit looked around confused, unable to find him.

"You're not going to catch someone moving at the speed of light, or shadow in this case." Spidey pointed out to them.

"Shut it!" One officer exclaimed.

"Relax officer and stop pointing your guns at him." Captain Stacy said, waving off his people and approaching Spider-Man. "Looks like your hunch was correct, seems like this Crime Master is looking to score some cash. Or likes jewelry."

"I'm thinking cash, having goons like this and a mutant now. Seems like he's building up a team or something of powered crocks."

"Agreed." Stacy replied looking around and his officers brought away the goons. "Doubt they'll share anything useful, being lackeys. Still good work."

Spider-Man shrugged. "Let the baddie get away, making your cops happy as usually being my charming self and among other things, not exactly good work in my eyes. Bringing down this guy would be some good work. I'm worried someone could get killed if this increases or whatever our mystery man is planning."

The captain looked at the young man. "You need to relax, don't beat yourself up over all this. You are doing all you can kid, this isn't even a job someone your age should be doing in the first place. Keep that little trinket of information in your head alright?"

Peter laughed softly to himself. "Sure captain, sure, I'll keep that in mind. Unless it gets knocked out by some nutjob looking to kill me." He replied sarcastically and made his leave swinging off back into the night.

Classic Peter Parker, doing super hero work on a Friday night, could be hanging with Harry or comforting MJ, which sounds quite nice right about now. Jezz, I've always gotta play hero. It's been two weeks since Harry's come and I've buried myself in trying to catch this Crime Master, stopping him could give MJ some relief, I hope. Super villain dad wouldn't be doing villain work without an employer! Unless he takes over or works for somebody else. Or goes freelance. Why can the bad guys freelance and make money, but I can't? Oh right, dumb question, cause they steal things! And that would get my hero card revoked if I did that! I should get home, talking to myself so extensively, might not be a good sign. I need to stop this. I won't, but I should.

Peter silently sneaked back home getting back into his normal clothing and stretching a bit. Door's locked still, hopefully Harry hasn't tried knocking, wouldn't give me the best look. I should really do some homework, but I've got a bad feeling in my gut Harry might be up to something. Which will likely blow up in both our faces.

He went down stairs preparing for the worst to come. "Hey Harry, how's your night going? Any plans or anything?"

Harry shrugged. "Na, not any I can think of my dude."

Initially Peter felt relieved, then.

"Well actually," Harry began to say.

Oh crud. Peter thought to himself feeling that bad feeling skyrocket right though the roof of his inner self.

"I've been thinking of attending a party, thinking it'll be pretty sick!" He exclaimed.

"Alright, where is it?" Peter asked.

"You know the place." His friend replied cryptically and a massive hint of sarcasm, which Peter didn't pick up on.

"I do? Is it close?" He continued to ask.

Harry laughed. "Come on man you know! I told you already!"

"Yes! Of course I remember!" He exclaimed back.

"Right! So you're excited right? You said it'd be okay?" Harry replied.

"Oh yeah of course it would be! Going to the party!"

"Yep, yep!" Harry said, putting his hands up high.

"Alright, could I see MJ first? Before you know, party time?" Peter asked genuinely.

His buddy nodded. "For sure, just don't take too long, party is going to get started soon! It's going to be a blast man!"

"Yeah." Peter replied and left, not so confident in that. Then went over to the back of MJ's house, being careful to not get spotted by the cops outside her home. They'd be looking for any fishy characters and a guy crawling on walls to her window might fit that bill, which admittedly could be creepy sometimes thinking about it.

He knocked on her window and she opened it quite fast.

"Come on in, fast before the cops see you."

"Yeah, thanks." He came in. "I'm pretty sure they were eating some yummy donuts, so it should be fine."

"I don't wanna lose you or anything." She said looking away.

"Hey." Peter put a hand on her shoulder. "Promise I'm not going anywhere MJ. Believe me, nobody is going to keep me away. Unless you kick me out."

"Won't happen, unless you watch me sleep or change. Then I'd have to kick your butt."

"I believe it!" Peter laughed. "How are you holding up?"

MJ shrugged. "Could be better, could be worse. You know?"

"Yeah, I get what you mean." He replied sitting next to her.

"I've seen Spidey out quite a bit, helping people, saving lives. Stopping crime and all that. How tired are you?" She looked at him.

"Not even a little bit!" He exclaimed. "Alright quite a bit. Harry's mentioning this party I apparently had some part of and I can't remember anything about it. So, I'd say it's a pretty bad sign of me being tuckered out. Just a bit."

MJ laughed to herself. "I'm tuckered out and I've hardly done anything. So, are you going to this party?"

"I'm really not sure."

"I could come with, could be fun and help get my mind off everything." MJ pointed out.

"Well, alright, would make it better if you tagged along. I don't trust Harry, got this feeling you?" He replied smiling at her slightly and felt a bad feeling inside his stomach. "I should check the police radio first, got a bad feeling if I go to this party-" Immediately listening to it he heard a call for reinforcements. "Yeah, of course. Uh, do you want to wait for me or go see Harry? Promise I'll try being fast, but never know with my luck a life." Peter said, looking at MJ.

"Don't worry, I'll wait. Even if Harry leaves without you, we could just have a night of hanging out, it wouldn't be as great as the party, but still."

Peter nodded. "It'd be even better then the party." He smiled and went to get into action, sneaking back inside completely focused on getting his suit and swinging off he didn't even notice Harry sitting outside, who fortunately didn't notice him, waiting for something.

Spider-Man swung as fast as he could into the city, the police radio said there was a shooting between rival gangs. It was confirmed as he saw two factions raging war against one another and looked around making sure no innocent people were around this warzone.

He landed in between the shooting and fighting. "Hey! You're going to wake up the whole city! It's the weekend!"

All the goons turned to him and opened fire naturally.

"Darn it all!" Spidey exclaimed leaping into the air, hardly missing the bullets flying towards him and started webbing out wildly hitting a couple of them at least. Attacking one group at a time from behind was the better option, which wasn't too much of a challenge as they started firing back at one another almost immediately.

He hopped behind one of the goons. "Looks like I don't have too much of an impactful presence huh?" He remarked before spin kicking the goons into 3 others. In quick motions he started webbing the rest of them to the ground to avoid them being shot. Once completed, Peter flug across the stress going head first into the other group of baddies who promptly began firing at him. One by one, he took them all down without too much of an effort.

Now everyone was defeated and the police were moving in. Peter grabbed one of the goons and went up to the rooftops.

"Hey, I've got some questions." He said waking the guy up he tried to reach for a side arm, but Spider-Man was too fast crushing it. "Why all the shooting? What's happening?"

The thug looked unsure of speaking.

"Ah, a silent one." Spidey in not such a friendly way prepared to tangle the thug off the roof feeling a little impatient.

"Wait! Wait!" They exclaimed.

He listened. "What? Ready to spill?"

"Yeah! Yeah! Our boss, Hammerhead, he's been getting nervous lately. Being in jail temporarily leaves our territory more open, with this Crime Master guy making power plays, he told us to attack a rival gang, showing we're still a threat. Crime Master can't touch us." The thug explained.

Peter thought for a moment. "So the Crime Master's been knocking at your door? And other gang doors?"

The thug hesitated.

"You like heights? I'm a little conflicted sometimes myself."

"Alright! No, he's not actually. Maybe a little, but truthly his eyes seem set on anything Wilson Fisk had any connections to."

"The Kingpin? Jezz and here I thought I was rid of him."

"He's not in New York, escaped." The thug replied.

Peter looked unsure about that. "Unless the Crime Master brings him back by causing a fine old mess of his territory. Interesting, wonder what it means."

"I've got no clue." The thug responded scared.

"Sorry, talking to myself. Oh and uh thanks pal." He knocked him back out and delivered him back down to the police, heading back on home again.

Getting close to home, he started to notice a strange sight. Lights come from the place? And people too? Oh goodness, now what? Peter thought to himself knowing he'd have to change at a secret spot instead stashing his suit elsewhere for the time being to at least investigate. Once doing so, he headed to MJ's and could see people hanging outside of his home, people from school?

"Peter!" She exclaimed seeing him, as she was sitting on her porch was a confused look on her face.

"What the heck is happening at home!?" He questioned, shocked.

"I was wondering the same!" She replied.

"Harry Osborn, you've done it now!" He exclaimed.

"Think I won't be coming to that party." MJ joked, as Peter walked off towards his house.

He stormed over and was stopped at his door by Flash Thompson. Of course.

"Sorry Parker, no nerds allowed!" He laughed.

"I live here. Let me in! Where is Harry!" He exclaimed frustrated.

"Oh boy! Somebody sounds a little mad! What did Harry not invite you?"

"I. Live. Here." Peter continued expressing annoyed, thinking if this would be a forgivable time to maybe give Flash some payback. Before thinking further, Harry actually showed up.

"Hey, hey, what's going on? Oh Pete you're still around! Flash stop messing around, he really does live here!" Harry said to him.

"Oh, well, uh, my bad Parker." He admitted and walked off feeling a bit embarrassed.

Peter pulled his friend aside. "Harry what the heck is going on here!?" He demanded

"What do you mean?" Harry replied.

He sighed. "I'm not playing here man, why did you do this?"

"I'm serious, I don't understand, you gave me the approval. I ask 'Hey Pete could I throw a sickass party as the house? And you yes sure go ahead pal."

This was quite shocking, Peter tried remembering agreeing to this, recalling times when he wasn't really listening to Harry in the slightest just agreeing with him to just have him leave him be. Looks like with most things, didn't work out.

"I-I, you know I'm going through a bunch, I was out of it, wasn't listening. Not really." Peter confessed to his friend.

His face turned to disappointment. "Man, I feel so stupid! I should've checked better, before throwing a party here. I wasn't thinking. My whole life lately, honestly, it's felt like this haze and partying, best feeling I've got. And hanging with you." Harry admitted.

Peter could see Harry's disappointment was genuine. "Hey, I've been being inconsiderate to you, not all of this is on you. If I was listening here and was here more." He paused looking around, spotting Liz and her boyfriend, becoming more focused on that.

"Yeah, I completely forgot to mention." Harry said, noticing and started rubbing the back of his head.

"Could you please just get everyone out of here before aunt May comes home." Peter told him and went towards Liz.

He approached them both, skeptical.

"Hey." He said weakly.

They turned to him.

"What are you doing here Parker?" Liz questioned.

"It's literally my home, Harry was staying with me." He replied.

"Nice place." Her boyfriend replied. "So you're the great Peter Parker I've heard so much about?" He continued saying.

Peter figured he'd not mention the call to Liz, so wouldn't mention it now. "Yeah, that's me." He replied to him and turned back to Liz. "I'm sorry for disappointing you and hurting you so badly."

"Doesn't matter anymore." Liz replied. "I'm moving on."

Peter looked at her unsure of that being truthful.

"I'm helping her move on, a lot." Her boyfriend Jamie said with a smile.

"Are you really?" Peter asked confrontanlly.

"Yeah, I think that I am. I'm doing my best to make Liz's life better, unlike you, I care about her a lot." He replied getting in his face, as he did, Peter noticed some jewelry around his neck which looked awfully formulier. Couldn't quite put his finger onto it.

Peter thinking about this kinda got distracted by this, which didn't please them as they both scoffed at him going to leave.

"Liz! I'm sorry! I wish I could've done something different everyday!" Peter exclaimed, feeling a little embarrassed after saying it.

However, Harry started helping out. "Alright everybody! Party is over! Take your trash and crap, or else you won't get a little party time bonus!" He exclaimed, shaking around his wallet in the air, which helped give good enough incentive to do so.

Everybody left and Peter gave a long sigh of relief sitting down on the couch. "Looks like everything turned out well pal." He said patting him on the shoulder as he came to sit beside him.

"Yet, everything besides my wallet, kidding obviously, you want some pizza?"

"Sure I'm hungry!" Peter exclaimed and looked at the doorway. Seeing Aunt Mary not looking too happy.

The two boys looked at each other. "Crud." They both said.

Aunt May wasn't pleased naturally, as she quickly figured out what had happened.

"How could you two do this?" May began frowning. "You both know better."

Harry tried speaking up. "It was-"

"Both our ideas." Peter said lying.

He looked at his friend surprised he'd take the fall as well.

"I'm greatly disappointed. If that's the case, I'm afraid going to have to ground you both. You can keep your phones, I'm not a monster, no leaving and if either of you throw another party, I'm taking the phones." She expressed shaking her head at them.

Harry frowned. "I'm sorry about this." He said and went up stairs to the guest room closing the door.

"Peter, one sec." Aunt May said.

"I'm sorry for not thinking better, I know you expect more from me." Peter said.

"Yes I do and I always can tell when you are lying." She pointed out crossing her arms.

Peter stretched his head trying to not be suspicious. "Well, I mean, it was both-"

"Why are you lying?" She questioned.

He sighed. "To protect Harry and let him know I'm here for him, I'm not going to abandon him in this time of clear need. He's going through stuff and his best friend's gotta be around taking his side. Least I could do and in fairness, he misheard me approving his party." He explained.

"Do you want me to punish you then? It seems uncalled for considering you did nothing wrong, of course won't tell Harry of that." She said.

Peter shook his head. "No it's fine, I'm going to go down with my friend."

"Alright, if that's what you want. It's noble of you, I'm proud you want to be there for Harry like that. I'm sure he'd appreciate it. Assuming you tell, which I've got a funny feeling you won't be."

He smiled at her and went up stairs.

Going up he went and knocked on his friend's door.

"Hey buddy? That didn't go as planned huh?" Peter said coming in.

"Could say that again. Why did you take the fall with me?" He questioned, bewildered.

"Do you really need to ask?" Peter replied.

He nodded. "Seems, weird. I don't get it."

"You're my best friend, man. Besides, I wasn't planning on going out anywhere really." Peter said, unfortunately lying partially.

"Thank you Pete, I don't know what I'd do without you." Harry replied happily.

He nodded and left his room.

Peter went back to his own thinking more about Liz and her boyfriend, that jewelry around his neck, it finally clicked, creating a great shock though his system.

It was from that robbery. I remember that creep, a mutant? Her boyfriend is a mutant? Looked exactly like him, even the voice. Oh, of course. And working for the Crime Master, awesome. This is going to end well. He thought to himself falling into bed sighing heavily.

Thanks for continuing to read as always, hoping you're all doing well.

So Falcon and The Winter Soldier ended.

*Spoilers

It was alright, I liked some parts, wished it was longer, big surprise from me lol. The show felt kinda confused at times, like the Flag Smashers being not wrong, only to be more villinzied, then backtracked again, then went nowhere dying to be forgotten maybe. Who knows with Captain America 4. Speaking of which Sam becoming Captain America and the parts in the last episode with Isaiah (side note most people might not get, can't believe that was Carl Lumbly, just found that out now, I underestimated his range) I wish they followed more of this story from this mini series, along with more for John Walker's development and Torres if anyone even remembers him. Sam didn't lol. I think I heard somewhere they wanted to do 10 hours, but naturally, na, it feels like that. Like Wanda Vision, more time and rewrites were needed. Some parts felt bold and on par with the Netflix shows at their best. Then others felt like high budget CW. So, at least it wasn't Wanda Vision crapping itself in the last episode running the show and Wanda to a lot of people. (Brief tangent. In case you didn't know, I love Wanda in all forms and I hate how she keeps getting pissed on. Why is it so hard not to mess her up? ): )

Sorry moving on, overall, it was okay, had its moments, wasn't Daredevil or Jessica Jones season 1, (or 3 if you can get through season 2, the payoff was great) hell I'd say Luke Cage is better, filler and all. I do think it'll be funny how people will need a guide to follow the MCU in the future with how things are playing out. Oh and doesn't Spider-Man 3 sound great? The not cursed movie at all...

Also more random cause that's my mode, funny enough a new Crime Master is doing stuff in the Spider-Man comics, not major, but hey, idk kinda funny. (Some with Sin Eater getting a push, but that'll be a story for another time. Nick Spencer is one upping me help) I'm tired.
