Legion's Future Season 01 Episode 04
We see that some sort of antigrav rail train had been attacked and cut to the Legion Cruiser flying above with Triplicate Girl's voice stating "Security Breach on level five Antigrav transport system." as the Cruiser began to alter course to go and intercept what was going on. They'd closed in onto the target to discover what was going on.
We see that it was Zodiac and Astral along with two old enemies of the Legion those being Tyr and Hunter, and the wall in front of them was blown open as the Amalgam questions "Mind if we crash the party?"
"It's the Legion, I told you they'd show!" Hunter stated while he and Tyr both picked themselves up from where they'd been knocked to the ground by the earlier explosion.
"Mission Piramiters Acceptable." Zodiac stated to them in response showing that whatever they were there to do they could handle it.
"Ya, we'll see about that." Lightning Lad stated ready to fight changing his robotic arm into a blaster ready to fight.
While this was going on up top Wave and Esper two more old enemies of the Legion were facing off against Phantom Girl and Saturn girl with the ladies ready to fight. We then see that Hunter was trying to handle lightning lad when someone or something had blasted him into the back of the transport car.
"Who in the.." Lightning Lad questioned turning back to see just who exactly had decided to join in the fight and had gone wide eyed seeing a familiar hour glass icon on a being that looked like a combination of a large furry apelike creature and a giant humanoid grasshopper. "No. Way."
"Yes way, you boys miss me?" The creature spoke with a smug look on their face as they slapped their hands together and began to rub them up and down agaisnt each other generating an electrical charge. He'd then unleashed a powerful blast of electricity that knocked Tyr and Astral back.
"Unknown Variable, mission piramiters unacceptable. Mission aborted." The Red and Green individual known as Zodiac spoke ad tried to leave.
"I can still take him!" Hunter spoke charging forwards but was given a tazer punch for his efforts causing them to crash backwards while being zapped by electricy at the same time.
"We gotta go now, there's no telling how strong that one's gotten since the last time we fought." Tyr spoke taking a box and teleporting out to the ship alongside Hunter, Astral, and Zodiac. Meanwhile drones had appeared and blasted a bridge while fighting with the heroes to cover their escape.
They'd all bee fighting as the transport neared the bridge and the electric ape grasshopper guy had jumped out of the front hitting the symbol on their chest and began to change into a much, MUCH larger form that looked like a giant humanoid being with a massive head fin that looked like their body was comprized of clusters of stars and clouds. He'd then placed down his arm for the stransport to go over in place of the bridge as the rest of the Legion managed to take down the drones and slow the transport to a stop.
"Celebrate later, right now we gotta get these people to the nearest facility's medical bay." Timber Wolf called out as they'd needed to take the wounded to get help.
"Not a problem. Take the injured aboard the Cruiser, I'll take the transport and follow." The large humanoid spoke with a blinding green flash around them as he'd changed into a man around their leader's age.
He'd then flown over to the front of the transport and whistled as a hovercraft they hadn't seen before appared and flew down attaching itself to the transport, wrapping itself around it upgrading and changing it's form. The Cruiser had taken off with the injured and flown off to the base with the transport following as they were able to keep up despite how fast the cruiser was going.
"This is the Leigon Cruiser to base three, E.T.A. two minutes, eight transport guardsmen wounded with plasma burn injuries requesting immediate medical backup upon arrival." Lucy spoke into the communication systems as they'd drawn near the base.
We see that the Sikorski guy was there when it came to a hault with him demanding "Okay people snap to it, I want that cargo unloaded and locked away yesterday. And I want some answers!"
"Wait a minute Sikorski we've got injured personell who need help first. We'll discuss what happened after they're secured and in recovery." Timber Wolf stated to the man as the medical personell had started taking a look at the injured.
The black and green circutry had detached itself from the train and had taken the form of a tiny bloblike creature that the girls had found to be rather cute as they'd moved their way over to Lucy inching like a worm and spoke stating "Ship Ship." wagging what would presumably be their tail happily.
"Ship, I haven't seen you in awhile." She'd spoken petting the little blob creature which confused the others.
"Ship?" Malware Seven spoke confused since he'd heard the name before "That sounds familiar, and not because it's what we call the spacecrafts."
"Duh, Ship is what Albedo used to brag about, remember like how they were supposedly faster than the Legion Cruiser and all that?" Lightning Lad reminded them.
Speaking of, the blond young man then walked out of the train transport to join the others with Sikorski angry about the loss of something. "So even with all of you so called heroes there they still managed to get away with one of the crates on the transport!" They's spoken angrily with Ship growling at the man not liking him.
"If it weren't for us and Albedo you'd have lost a lot more than one lousy crate!" Lightning Lad spoke bluntly not liking this guy.
"Ya, well maybe now with that guy back you guys will actually be a decent team again. Though I seriously doubt it, and put that thing into quarantine to study! I don't like how it was attached to my transport." Sikorski spoke up again pointing over at ship, however Albedo got between them.
"You touch Ship and it'll be the last mistake of your life little man." He'd stated darkly grabbing their hand and squeezing causing him to cry out in pain from his hand being crushed. "Do I make myself clear?"
"Alright, fine! We'll just see what Madam President has to say about this." The jerk spoke as Albedo let go of his hand and turned to leave.
"I doubt she'll say anything but to shut up and leave Ship alone." Phantom Girl stated back to the rude man as he was turning to leave.
"Especially if Grandma Verdon was to find out." Albedo then chimed in as well surprising them as he'd turned to look at Albedo "Ya, that Verdona, as in Leader of the Anodyte Collective." And cue the color draining from his face as he just turned and left without another word.
"We need to find out what was in that crate and try to get it back sooner rather than later." Timber Wolf stated to the Legionaires that were there at the time. "We're done here, let's go."
The group had all gotten onto the Legion Cruiser and left together leaving Sikorski with the color drained from his face about just who Albedo was exactly. They'd all began to head back as the other Legionaires had welcomed their former leader back to their time as all of them had been happy to see him again. As was Lucy who was also from the same time and he'd been catching her up about everything that happened while she was away.
"So, who's acting leader right now?" Albedo questioned the group about who's currently the one in charge.
"I am, though I'm not exactly the natural born leader type like you." Timber Wolf stated back to him about being the active leader.
"Meh, I'm sure you'll do fine. Don't think that just because I'm back that I wanna jump back into taking over the leadership role again. First I gotta get readjusted to this time again, and also gotta unpack everything too. Left my stuff back at the Clubhouse." Albedo stated to them.
"So does that mean you're finally staying?" Phantom Girl questioned with her arms behind her back and hands on her elbows as she drew circles on the ground with the tip of her foot.
"Yes Tinya, I'm staying." Albedo answered back while walking over to her "History says I vanished after training Terry McGinnis to take over as leader of the Front Lines in my time. So there's no need to go back."
This had excited Phantom Girl as she'd happily hugged him and planted a kiss on his lips as he'd wrapped his arms around the small of her back. You could see the gears in Lucy's head turning as she was starting to put together why the othe Legionaires had been teasing Phantom Girl about Albedo and how she'd know Albedo better than the others.
"Not to break up this touching moment, but I do find it rather odd that Albedo stated it's been over twenty years for him and yet all scans indicate that his body is that of the same age as Brin." Mal stated to them about how Albedo could be so yong and yet so old at the same time.
"I just chalked it up to chrono-radiation due to having multiple timetravel trips with the Time Spheres and the Warp Key's chronal tunnels." Albedo answered back casually which had just confused the less scientifically inclined of the group.
"That would be the most likely reasoning to consider." The Techno Organic member of the team stated as Ship was moving around the floor of the Cruiser.
"Hey, you guys wanna have some fun?" the Biomnitrix wielder spoke with a twisted sorta grin on his face looking smug about whatever he was about to do.
"... Yes." Timber Wolf stated giving them the go ahead to do whatever crazy thing that he was about to pull.
"Ship." Albedo then spoke and the little Mechamorph Blob then attached itself to the Cruiser and began to take over all the controls with everyone buckling in as they'd seen this thing before when Albeo used to do the same.
Ship had altered the form of the Legion Cruiser and then blasted forwards pinning everyone to their chairs because of how fast they were going and Bouncing Boy was loving this while Triplicate Girl looked like she was gonna be sick. Lucy had squished against her chair, quite literally with some of her mudlike body appeared around her as she was pined. Malware 7 and Lightning Lad were gripping the arm rests of their seats trying to hold on for dear life alongside Saturn Girl.
Even Amalgam had trouble with the pressure of the speed they were going as he was trying to fight against it and failing. Timber Wolf was in the captains chair pinned into the back of it, and finally both Albedo and Phantom Girl were pinned to their own seats as they'd made it back to the clubhouse in record time and Ship began slowing down so as to not give them all whiplash and landed with all of them getting out dizzy and unable to walk right.
"Ship Ship." The little Mechamorph Blob then spoke happily while the others were bracing themselves up against various things around them to try to get inside of the Clubhouse now.
