Dumbledore PoV
Albus sighed as he finally entered his office. Honestly, he loathed all those political meetings he was forced to attend.
Especially those recent ones where Cornelius had been representing the interests of various Death-eaters and Dark families on the Wizengamot who were 'dismayed' at how Albus, Amelia and the Goblins would kill an important historical Magical Creature like Salazar Slytherins Basilisk.
An insult to the legacy of one of the founders of Hogwarts, they called it. As if the Light and Neutral parties of the Wizengamot wouldn't be able to get why they were so angry.
Especially given that Albus had seen Lucius Malfoy speaking to Cornelius, with the man being not just his usual pale but frankly chalk-white.
Looking at the small black Diary on his own desk, which had a big hole with a sharp tooth in it, Albus couldn't repress a chuckle.
Oh, Lucius... He really made a major misstep with his last scheme.
The poor man was already putting two and two together. Voldemort, if or when he returned, would NOT be happy with Lucius at all, especially with how public the Basilisk destruction was. Even now, the Newspapers were paying a lot of money to the Goblins for being able to take photos of the skeleton of the harvested beast.
For Tom, the embarrassment to his ancestor at the beast's death, along with the personal loss of a powerful weapon, would mean that Lucius' life may very well be cut short. Especially once the man admitted that he had also lost the Diary.
Staring at the Horcrux with a troubled expression, Dumbledore sighed.
He really did not want to believe that even Tom would ever dare to dabble in something as vile as this. But he seemed to have underestimated the man's depravity.
The ritual of creating a Horcrux was utterly vile, and Albus, when first reading about how to make one, had literally vomited his lunch out. The Librarian of his time had not been pleased at that.
Still, now the question that Albus had to face was whether this was the only Horcrux in existence or if Tom had been mad enough to create more than one.
Hmm, perhaps it was time to pay his old friend Horace a visit.
Jasmine blushed as she looked up at Daphne, who had pushed her down onto the bed.
"You blush so easily," Daphne said in a teasing voice.
Jasmine blushed even harder after Daphne pointed it out.
"I.." Jasmine said, stuttering.
Daphne shook her hips suggestively on Jasmine, smirking as she did so. "Will you wear my collar again?" Daphne asked, holding up her collar.
Jasmine swallowed nervously before nodding. Daphne raised an eyebrow with an expecting face.
"Yes, Mistress," Jasmine said, sending a thrill of excitement through her body.
Daphne wasted no time slipping the collar around Jasmine's neck. Once it was secure, Daphne leaned down and passionately kissed Jasmine.
Jasmine kissed back just as passionately, wrapping her arms around Daphne's body. Jasmine pressed her body closer to Daphne's, feeling their boobs press against each other.
Daphne pulled away, letting out a chuckle. "I can't move further with you being underage," Daphne said, smirking.
"It's two months till my 13th birthday," Jasmine said, pouting.
"That it is. I am eagerly counting those two months down, but right now, you are too young to consent," Daphne said with an over-exaggerated sigh.
"I can't wait till I can ravish you each and every night."
"I have no idea what you mean, Mistress," Jasmine said, blushing furiously and not meeting Daphne's eyes.
Daphne let out a knowing hum.
"When can we start on Occlumency?" Jasmine asked quickly, changing the subject.
"Hmm, it will have to be a few days. I need my books from my house," Daphne replied. Jasmine nodded in agreement.
"Can't your house elf get them?" Jasmine asked, confused as she remembered the elf getting the watches.
"Not without permission from the head of the house. The library of families is a closely guarded secret. After all, knowledge is power."
Daphne grabbed her wand and tapped her watch, and a moment later, the door opened, and Tracey walked back into the room. Seeing them both on the bed, Tracey looked relieved and smiled.
"The final match between Gryffindor and Ravenclaw is coming up soon, right?" Daphne asked.
"Yes, it's this weekend. I didn't know you cared for Quidditch?" Jasmine asked.
"I don't unless my slave is playing, of course," Daphne replied.
Jasmine smiled. "That's good. I was worried you would be upset your team loses."
"Oh, most of the house gets upset about it. But most of them get upset with the team. After all, they are the ones who lose. Even more so this year after Malfoy bribed his way onto the team."
Jasmine let out a snort. "I can't believe he bribed his way onto the team. No, wait, I guess I can. That's probably all his family knows how to do."
Tracey let out a giggle. "The rest of the house can't believe that they got 3rd this year with Nimbus 2001s."
Jasmine smiled. "They played far more aggressively this year. According to Wood, they got twice the amount of fouls, so of course, they lost more games. The only one they won was against Hufflepuff."
"Are you ready for the end-of-year exams?" Daphne asked as Tracey crawled onto the bed.
"I think so. Hermione will probably have a two-week revision before the exams."
"Hmm, good. If you win the Quidditch game, I will give you a reward, and the same with your end-of-year exams. If you get hmm... Exceeds expectations, then I will give you a reward. Oh, you will be of age when you get the results, won't you," Daphne said, smirking suggestively.
"I will win the game," Jasmine said confidently.
"I would prefer your end-of-year exams to be better than quidditch," Daphne said, pulling her into a cuddle.
"My exams will be good. Last year, they were good, Mistress," Jasmine said pouting.
"Well, I have said what I expect. As a good submissive, you should always aim to exceed your mistress' expectations, shouldn't you ?" Daphne asked.
"Even in History of Magic? Mistress," Jasmine asked.
"Well, maybe not in History of Magic. But only because we have a horrible teacher." Daphne said after a moment's thought.
Jasmine let out a yawn. "Time for sleep then," Daphne said, wrapping her arms around Jasmine.
"I'm not sleepy," Jasmine said through another yawn.
"Sure," Daphne said, rolling her eyes. With a flick of her wand, the lights in the room vanished.
Jasmine let out a yawn as she sat down at the Gryffindor table in the Great Hall. The atmosphere was very lively even though it was still so early in the morning.
Today was the last Quidditch match of the year and the deciding match for who would win the Quidditch House Cup. And to add pressure on to the Gryffindor team this year, Wood was desperate to win.
Wood had his NEWT level exams next year. As for the rest of the team, they would be starting their 2nd year in their OWL-level classes. As such, the amount of homework they got would be increasing.
This means next year, the amount of free time for training would be much lower compared to this year or last year.
Jasmine was also desperate to win to make up for last year. They suffered their worst defeat in 300 years because she was in the hospital wing. Something that still made Jasmine feel guilty even nearly a year later.
"Best not let Wood see you yawn like that," Katie said, taking a seat next to Jasmine.
"Then he shouldn't have kept us up so late last night going over the strategy again."
"He just wants to win in his final year," Katie said.
"Well, let's eat up im sure we will have a briefing before the match," Jasmine said as she pilled food onto her plate.
"That we will," Katie agreed as she started to grab the food closest to her.
Jasmine and Katie quickly ate as fast as they could, washing it down with pumpkin juice. Jasmine frowned at the taste. No matter how often she drank the stuff, she still found the taste strange.
Normally, she would have changed it for milk, but in her rush, she had forgotten to do so. Finishing the last bite of food, they left the great hall and made their way down to the Quidditch stadium, basking in the early morning sun. Jasmine was glad that it wasn't raining. There was nothing worse than playing in the rain.
As they got closer, they could see many students milling around, some making bets on the match's outcome and others just excited to see who would win.
And it wasn't just the houses of the team that were playing that had shown up. There were also students from Hufflepuff and Slytherin who had turned up.
Jasmine and Katie walked past them and made their way to the team changing rooms.
"Hey, you're both here. Wood was getting worried you had been attacked," Angelina said as Jasmine and Katie walked into the changing room.
"Please, we are playing Ravenclaw, not Slytherin," Katie said dismissively.
"Well, let's hurry up and get changed, or he will get even more worried," Jasmine said, walking over to her locker and opening it up.
Inside was her Quidditch uniform, along with her broom, the Nimbus 2000. It was one of her prized possessions.
Jasmine quickly got changed, grabbed her broom, and followed Katie, Alicia and Angelina out of the changing room into the team planning room.
"Right, excellent, everyone is here," Wood said, excited and nervous.
"Right, let's go over it one last time," Wood said, waving everyone to sit down.
"Fred, George, you both need to keep an eye out for Duncan and Jason. They have shown outstanding teamwork and awareness of the opponent's chasers."
"Chasers, you will have to play much more aggressively in this match and remember. Grant favours the right goal, so aim for the left as much as possible."
"We know you have told us this every night for the last 2 nights," Katie mumbled under her breath.
"Jasmine, your opponent is Cho. Don't let her small body fool you. She is very aggressive and nimble."
"I am nimble," Jasmine said, pouting.
"Okay, I will go see Madam Hooch and see how long till the game starts," Wood said, getting to his feet and leaving the team room.
"Did everything end up okay?" Angelina asked Jasmine in a whisper.
Jasmine looked at her in surprise as she thought about what Angelina was asking.
"You have just looked happier the last few days."
"Err, yes, we made up. Thank you for listening to me," Jasmine said, slightly embarrassed.
Slowly, the sound outside got louder as more and more students arrived at the stands. Jasmine always found that the noise of the games could often make her feel much more confident than she would usually feel.
"Come on, let's go out onto the pitch," Wood shouted into the room.
Everyone in the changing room jumped to their feet and grabbed their broom. Jasmine couldn't help but feel embarrassed at how everyone else's brooms all looked very beat up.
Thankfully, no one ever mentioned it, but Jasmine wished the school would buy new brooms.
Madam Hooch was refereeing. She stood in the middle of the pitch, waiting for the two teams, her broom in her hand. Seeing her hawk-like eyes, Jasmine was curious if they were somehow magically enhanced or just a visual thing.
Looking away from Madam Hooch, Jasmine saw the Ravenclaw team walking onto the pitch from the other side of the field. The keeper and the chasers didn't stand out much to Jasmine.
However, at the very back of the group was a petite girl. It was clear that she was of Asian descent. She had long brown hair pulled into a tight ponytail so that it wouldn't get in her way when flying.
Her almond-shaped eyes were a deep, warm brown and, shone with competitiveness and were firmly locked on Jasmine.
Jasmine was surprised at how beautiful she found the girl before a guilty feeling spread through her.
"Right, mount your brooms." Madam Hooch called out.
Jasmine skilfully climbed onto her Nimbus 2000 while waiting for Madam Hooch's call. The entire stadium fell quiet as everyone held their breath.
"Let the game begin!" Madam Hooch shouted as she gave a loud blast on her silver whistle.
Instantly, fifteen brooms shot into the sky. At the same time, Bludgers were set free and shot into the sky along with a snitch, which immediately vanished.
"And we are off for the last game of the year. Who will win and bring pride to their house? Ravenclaw or Gryffindor," Jasmine heard Lee calling out to the crowd.
Jasmine focused on her task and rose quickly into the air. In a few seconds, she was over 100 feet in the sky. Twisting her broom, she came to be facing towards the ground again.
A large smile spread across her face. There really was nothing like flying. It always made her feel free.
Jasmine's eyes slowly scanned around, looking for the flash of gold that she knew was the Snitch. Not that she could catch it at this point.
In order to win the cup, Jasmine knew that Gryffindor needed to be 40 points ahead. While looking for the Snitch, she also kept her eyes out for the bludgers in case they tried to knock her off her broom.
"And the Quaffle is taken immediately by Katie Bell of Gryffindor, who quickly led a charge towards the Ravenclaw goals. She's really belting along up there, a neat pass to Alicia Spinnet. No, Rvaenclaw has taken the Quaffle with help from their betters.
And look at the Ravenclaw captain Roger Davies gains the Quaffle. Off he goes – flying like an eagle living up to the Ravenclaw flag – he's going to sc– no, stopped by an excellent move by Gryffindor Keeper Wood, and Gryffindor takes the Quaffle once again.
Katie Bell of Gryffindor has the Quaffle, with a nice dive around the Bludger, and off up the field she goes with a pass to Angelina and – OUCH! – that must have hurt, hit in the back of the head by a Bludger!" Lee called out.
Jasmine let out a wince as she could imagine how much that must have hurt, given the several times she had been hit by a Bludger.
Jasmine slowly flew around looking for the Snitch as Cho Chang did the same thing. Jasmine couldn't help but feel useless at the moment. Thinking about what she could do, an idea popped into her mind.
Jasmine turned her broom around and scanned the players, looking for Cho Chang. Once she found her, Jasmine darted down and was quickly on her trail.
Jasmine had caught up to arm's length of Cho Chang in a few seconds. Something the girl noticed. Jasmine smiled to herself as Cho became increasingly worried about Jasmine following after her.
Soon, Cho Chang started to try and shake Jasmine off her tail. Jasmine smiled with her so focused on her there was no way that she could also look around for the Snitch.
While doing that, she heard Lee and the crowd cheer as Griffindor rapidly scored two goals. Halfway to the 40 points, Jasmine needed to wait before she could find and catch the Snitch.
With a burst of speed, Jasmine pulled shoulder to shoulder of Cho. Being so close, Jasmine had to admit to herself that the girl was incredibly pretty. She was not as pretty as Daphne, but Jasmine knew she was biased.
With a quick nudge of her shoulder, Jasmine pushed Cho, making the girl scowl at her as she quickly dived towards the ground. With a quick scan below, Jasmine knew that Cho was just trying to get away from her.
Jasmine smiled and dove after the girl. In truth, she didn't have a chance of getting away from Jasmine, given the difference in their brooms.
"And Katie scored again!" Lee shouted out before being drowned out by the cheers.
Jasmine pulled away from Cho and shot up into the sky as she started to look for the sparkle of gold. Knowing how good their chasers were, Jasmine was sure they would have the fourth goal soon.
As she scoured the skies, Jasmine heard Madam Hooch's whistle blear through the stadium, and boos filled the air.
Jasmine quickly looked around the pitch only to see Wood slumped over his broom, looking in pain. Jasmine frowned, knowing that it couldn't have been due to him blocking a shot.
She also knew the only way he could have been hit by a bludger was if one of the beaters had hit it towards him. Jasmine was a little surprised by the move from Ravenclaw.
If she was playing Slytherin, then she would expect it; however, none of the other teams ever got so aggressive that they broke the rules. Seeing Wood sitting back up, Jasmine went back to her job of looking for the Snitch.
Jasmine watched the penalty the chasers were taking, hoping that this would be the 4th goal so she could catch the Snitch. Out of the corner of her eye, Jasmine saw a flash of gold that Jasmine always associated with the Snitch.
The flash of gold stole Jasmine's attention, and she instantly recognised the small ball. Jasmine's emotions were mixed as she watched the Snitch soaring through the air. She felt a sense of powerlessness and anger at the same time. Normally, she would immediately chase after the golden ball. Now, however, she didn't want to bring attention to it in case Chgo saw it.
Jasmine longed to race after the Snitch, which seemed to be flying around in a teasing manner. Jasmine glared at the golden ball before the stadium broke into celebration, and Jasmine's focus was back on the game.
Seeing the score going to 40-0 for Griffindor, Jasmine's heart reached with excitement, and she looked back over to where the Snitch was. Only the annoying ball had vanished.
Jasmine's eye twitched as she wondered if the ball was sentient as it seemed to know that she could now catch it and did a vanishing act.
Jasmine desperately looked around, hoping to see some trace of the Snitch or a flash of gold. But there was no sign at all. Jasmine, angry, started to fly around, hyper-aware of the pressure that was now on her shoulders.
She could feel most of the eyes on the stadium following her around as she searched for the crafty ball. As she flew lower, a feeling of panic came over her, and she quickly dived towards the ground.
A second later, a bludger flew through where she was just flying, and Jasmine turned around angrily. However, before she saw the beater, she saw Cho diving towards the ground.
Jasmine looked towards the ground as Lee announced that Cho had seen the Snitch. All thoughts about the Bludger vanished, and Jasmine rolled through the air and dived towards the Snitch.
The Snitch quickly darted away with Cho on its heels. Jasmine tightly hugged her broom as she willed the broom to fly as fast as possible. Jasmine watched as Cho stretched her arm out the Snitch just beyond her fingertips.
Just before Cho could reach her fingers out, Jasmine came shooting from above, her hand wrapping around the Snitch as the two girls crashed into each other and went whirling through the air.
Jasmine tightly held onto the broom as she brought herself back under control and held the Snitch up proudly.
That stadium broke into applause as Lee announced the end of the match and that Gryffindor had won the Quidditch cup. The rest of the team quickly flew to Jasmine, excitedly shouting and pulling her into a hug.
