Gems Hunting to Gems Crushing
Five drives the Glitch Tech van all the way to the first place where they can begin the gem hunting quest, and that is right in front of the pet store which Lana and Lola took a moment to look at it.
"You have arrived at your quest waypoint." The automated voice announced.
"Hey, this is the pet store where we got our four pets!" Lana smiled, remembering how the Louds met each pet.
"Yeah, those were some happy days." Lola said, feeling the memories flooding in.
"Save the remembering stuff for later, we're at the first step of our quest. Let's savior this moment." Bergy said and all eight Glitch Techs took in the moment like they were being met with a God who gave them the quest.
"Okay, moment over." Lola wanted to go find those gems.
"So, how do we find these gems. If they were in plain sight, people would have noticed them, right?" Five asked.
"I'm sure these gems shouldn't be too hard to find with our gears." Lilly believed.
"Well, they should give us their general location, but the rest will be trial and error." Bergy mentioned as he held his Glitch Tech tablet pointing it at the Royal Woods' Pet Store.
"Glitch signature detected."
"Time to get start the hunt!" Lincoln smirked, making a pose with his finger.
"And I just started the timer!" Five activated the timer of the first quest.
"Quest timer started. Thirty minutes and counting..."
"QUEST BEGIN!" The group jumped out of the van and into the store.
The group searches through the store while trying to follow the signal of the Glitch to find their first gem, Lola and Lana are sticking together to find the one such as looking under a woman and inside some pet foods that Lana keeps eating some.
"Lana! You know we have to pay for those!" Lola angered softly.
"Sorry." Lana shrugged before letting out a burp.
"You know, this suddenly reminds me of how we were back when we didn't share any money together like when we fought over that quarter Lincoln found in the couch." Lucy recalled that time.
"Oh yeah, it sure was a stuff time us." Lola chuckled.
"Because you guys were a big family?" Five asked, coming up from the other side of the shelf.
"Yep, when it comes to being part of a big family, there's not much money to go around and we used to just keep whatever dollar or coin we find to ourselves." Lana explained.
"Until we ended up finding a letter from a woman who used to live in the house before us that lead us to find a stack of $500!" Lola mentioned.
"Wow, you guys found a whole lot of money together!" Five impressed.
"Not exactly we ended fighting over the money at first, it was until we started working together to find it." Lincoln mentioned.
"While I was an innocent baby." Lilly smiled.
"While trashing their house." Ronnie Anne added.
"Yeah, and our dad had to clean up for some reason." Lana remembered their dad cleaning up the house by himself. Couldn't figure out exactly why though.
But then the beeping from their gears is beeping a little louder and accelerating too telling them that the gem is very close, and it's in the reptile section.
"The reptile section! If it's here, then I'll totally find it!" Lana cracked her fingers.
"Better stay back, things are about to get weird." Lola warned.
Lana started looking through each cage and glass case of the reptile section while also getting a little physical with the reptiles, then her tracker beeps accelerating again upon the turtle tank.
"The turtles, huh? Let see which one of you is a gem?" Lana said.
"Try to see if any of them look like glitches, check for martial weapons and bandanas." Bergy advised.
"Got it!" Lana said before looking closely at the turtles until she notices one turtle that is shiny.
"I found a glitch turtle!" Lana held up the turtle glitch.
"Then it's probably the gem we're looking for!" Bergy believed.
"Then I'll blast it out!" Lola readied her gauntlet to blast the glitch turtle.
"No wait! You don't blast a" But it was too late when Lola fired a blast at the glitch turtle (without hurting Lana) and it started bouncing around like a pinball.
Lincoln and the others quickly try to catch the glitch turtle as it bounces around the pet store until Five unexpectedly steps on top of the glitch turtle causing it to stop and form into a gem.
"Good work, Five! You got our first gem!" Lincoln said, proud of his friend.
"Thanks!" Five smiled before taking the gem into his gauntlet.
"Huh, guys, we got a witness." Ronnie Anne pointed at a young girl standing in front of them and saw most of it.
"Sorry about that. It was a new hologram game Hinobi Tech is trying out, but it looks like there are still some problems with the programing and better report this to our boss." Lincoln explained as a lie.
"That means you shouldn't try this on real turtles. It's not cool and could hurt them, but you could still become friends with them." Lana added as she handed the turtle to the girl.
"Yeah, turtles are awesome!" Five nodded.
"But do anything bad and you'll regret it." Lucy warned, suddenly appearing behind the girl to spook her a little.
As the Glitch Tech team leaves to find their next gem, the girl looks at the turtle that just pops its head out to scare the girl, but she still held onto the turtle and gently petted the head making it smile a bit.
"Sabrina, where are you?" The mother asked. Then she saw her daughter come to her with the turtle in her hand.
(With Miko and Nica)
Miko is singing a little song about connecting wires while fixing an arcade game that seems to be broken a bit.
"You know, it's a surprise that you know how to fix an arcade machine" Nica said.
"Thanks, I had some practice with Lana and Lincoln when we tried to fix their game console." Miko bragged a little.
"To be honest, I envy you for not working to high school." Nica said.
"Why do you say that? Lincoln's been telling me how cool high school is even though I can't go due to my incredible unique method of learning new things." Miko asked and bragged a little.
"High school isn't exactly all fun, especially when you have to constantly worry about other kids in school seeing you in a place like this." Nica shook her head.
"But the arcade is a fun place." Miko pointed out.
"Yeah, but to most is for younger kids and to some who thinks they're "too cool" for all of this." Nica said as she takes out her phone.
"See this poor kid?" Nica showed a picture of a random girl.
"She looks friendly." Miko commented.
"I don't even remember her name because everyone at school just calls her frog tongue. She yawned in class, and a fly flew in her mouth. So, everyone posted a pic of it all over sosh meds." Nica explained about what happened to that poor girl.
"People at school are always watching, waiting for you to mess up. Because as long as they're busy laughing at you, nobody is laughing at them." Nica warned.
"…That is insane!" Miko said, now feeling glad to not be going to high school.
"That's high school." Nica shrugged.
"Guess Lincoln is careful with these sorts of things." Miko said.
"Yeah, Lincoln… nice to snow he's hair is still white." Nica commented sarcastically.
"You're still mad at him about the incident?" Miko asked.
"Not entirely, but I haven't fully forgiven him about that humiliation." Nica stated.
"Look, he's really sorry about that and doesn't want anything bad between you two." Miko said as she stood up.
"Well, unless he can make this day very exciting for the both of us, then I won't forgive him." Nica looked and played on the other game.
Miko tries to think of a way for her big sister to forgive Lincoln for that incident two years ago and thought about something exciting, and that's when it hits her. The gem quest they are doing, maybe that could help fix things between them.
"Come on, we're going gem hunting too!" Miko grabbed Nica's arm and drags her out of the arcade to find Lincoln.
(With Lincoln's Group)
Lincoln's team arrive at the rooftop of a store call the "Game Kingdom" in the search for another gem glitch. Five was nervous about coming here for some reason and hurried the group to the roof.
Unknown to them, they are followed by the two little creatures.
"Okay guys, the signal appears to be coming from here." Lincoln said.
"Hey, check out this mural." Ronnie Anne said, looking at the cool mural.
"Cool, that looks like the turtle glitch we found at the pet store." Lilly pointed at the turtle.
"Huh, it's kind of weird that you can't see it from the street." Five stated.
"Definite glitch signature up here… but I'm getting some interference." Bergy said, trying to find the signal.
However, the mural isn't a normal mural as a horned walrus slowly comes out at the unexpected Loud twins, but the red and blue little creatures tackle the walrus glitch.
"What the…" The twins shocked which got everyone's attention.
"Whoa, are those Minun and Plusle?" Lincoln asked shock.
"As in the Plus and Minus Twin Pokémon?" Five asked, shock as well.
The walrus creature roars at the Glitch Tech as it comes out and the mural and they ready themselves, then the two little Pokémon got in front of the twins like they want to battle with them.
"Looks like they want to help us." Lana believed which Minun and Plusle nodded.
"Okay then, let's try out a cuddling move!" Lola suggested.
"Use Nuzzle!" Lola and Lana commanded.
Both Minun and Plusle charges at the walrus then jumps on both side of the walrus, nuzzle their cheeks on walrus's cheeks with strong electricity zapping from the two small Pokémon, this gave Lola and Lana the chance to blast the glitch into lots of pretty gems acquiring them in their gauntlets.
"We did it!" The twins cheered and the two Pokémon jumps onto the twins with Minun on Lana and Plusle on Lola.
"Okay, I was not expecting that, but still cool!" Five impressed.
"That was the coolest thing ever! I knew those two would be the perfect Pokémon partners for you!" Lilly believed which gave Lana and Lola an idea.
"Lincoln! Can we keep them! Pretty please!" Lola and Lana begged their big brother to keep their new Pokémon friends as they are also giving their cute eyes.
"Well, they did save them from that glitch and helped defeat it." Ronnie Anne pointed out.
"And they seem already form a bond with them too." Five added, seeing how cute those pairs of twins are.
Lincoln was worried that his sisters almost got hurt from that walrus glitch, but he is glad to see they are safe, and it looks like they have found themselves each a companion pet just like Miko and these Pokémon one of them twins' favorite cute creatures.
"Alright, you can keep them. Just promise you'll take care of them with love and such like we do with our other pets." Lincoln decided to let Minun and Plusle stay with them.
"We promise!" Lana and Lola nodded as their new Pokémon did.
"Great, that means this quest is going to be better! Questiny is our destiny!" Five chanted.
"Quest Buddy Handshake!" Bergy called it and everyone join in, even Minun and Plusle.
"I wonder if Miko will get the chance to join us?" Lucy asked.
Then Lincoln gets a call from Miko on his gauntlet.
"Hey Miko, how's the sister bonding time?" Lincoln asked.
"Doing great, just wondering where you guys are and if it's too much trouble to join you." Miko answered.
"Just about to head to the next quest point with Lola and Lana's new companion pets. But do you want to come now?" Lincoln asked.
(Later, at the Car Wash)
"You brought Nica here! Are you Roko in za koko!" Lincoln gasped, seeing Nica leaning onto the van.
"I'm sorry! But I really wanted to help you gain Nica's full forgiveness that she's still a little mad at you about two years ago." Miko apologized with the explanation.
"I can understand that, but why during a Glitch mission? And don't you dare say you two are a package deal even though it's a good point!" Lincoln asked.
"We have 15 minutes left! Just let her come!" Five rushed into the car wash.
"So, Nica… ever seen a holographic video game in real life before?" Lincoln asked nervously.
"Maybe in an anime." Nica shrugged and saw the two Pokémon with Lola and Lana.
"These are, huh, mouse playing cosplay. They're fans of the Minun and Plusle Pokémon." Lola explained, covering these creatures are glitches.
"Okay, now I've seen everything." Nica said.
"Okay, so the next quest point should somewhere in this car wash." Ronnie Anne looked around, but then hit something.
"What the...?" Ronnie Anne confused of what she just hit.
"Everything okay?" Five asked.
"I think I just hit something." Ronnie Anne said, holding out her hands and can definitely feel something in front of her.
"Hold on, try turning on your goggles." Lincoln said as he brought out the tech glasses.
"Huh, they look like floating puzzle piece." Lana commented.
"These pixel objects are frozen in statis, like a paused game." Five guessed.
"I can't see anything, you guys." Nica said, then Lucy appears next to her and held the glasses in front of her eyes to see the blocks, surprising her.
"Why are they invisible?" Lilly asked.
"Because these 3-D models have no skins on them." Bergy answered, which only grossed out Nica.
"Those blocks don't have any graphics layers turned on. Now we just need to find a way to turn them on." Lincoln said as he and a few of the others climb onto them.
"Whoa, whoa, you can actually climb them?" Nica shocked.
"Don't freak out. I know it's weird, but it's also science." Miko said.
"Hey, maybe our little buddies can shock them to appear." Lana suggested, the two red and blue mouse Pokémon charge up a little static and electric blast the blocks to make them appear.
"Okay, how is all this real?" Nica asked shock.
"You could say it's technical." Lucy said.
"Hey, I'm not finding any gems here. Uh, the timer's still ticking, Bergy. Where are the gems?" Five freaked out.
"Five, calm down! We'll find those gems; we just have to be patient and not jump to anything until we know for sure." Lincoln stated.
"At least Lincoln seems to have learn that lesson." Nica whispered to herself, but she couldn't help but feel like she has seen those blocks before, and then her phone went off because of the alarm told her to do selfie.
"Miko! Come back! It's selfie time!" Nica called out which Miko quickly went down to her big sister.
"Oh! I always wanted to be a photo bomb!" Bergy excitedly.
"Me too! Me too!" Lilly jumped down with Ronnie Anne and Lucy joining.
"Come on, guys. We're on a quest timer over here." Five reminded them, but none of them are listening while Lincoln position himself to be in the selfie from where he is standing.
"Relax Five, we will find those gems and get you those shoes. It's not like something unexpected is gonna happen." Lincoln assured his friend that everything is going to be fine.
But suddenly they hear a loud roar coming from the other side of the car wash and they saw something coming in with a charge.
"Is that another Pokémon?" Five gasped.
"Not just that, it's Rampardos: The Head Butt Pokémon!" Lincoln gasped, recognizing the Pokémon. The Pokémon then started roaring at the two like it's trying to warn them about something.
"We don't have time for this!" Five angered and fired a blast at one of the blocks causing it to descend, and the rest of the blocks crashing into the floor and the ground crumble into a big hole along with the water hose blasting out a giant ounce of water and soap.

It looks like the gem hunt quest is about to turn into something else for our Glitch Tech agents with Miko's older sister going to be in the mix, and with the sudden appearance of three Pokémon in the story is going to make things more adventuring for them!
