(We transition to a needle dropping on a record player. B.I.G's Hypnotize begins to play as we transition from Oscar making his way across the city and someone moving around in their apartment. This continues until we see Oscar looking up at the apartment room.)

"I love this beat" says Yang as she and most of the others get caught up in the rhythm of the music. Glynda and Cinder try to keep up a front of indifference. But we can see those toes tapping.

Uncle Aaron is texting on his couch when he receives a picture text of him, texting, from 1 second ago. Aaron looks at his window and sees Oscar. "Uncle Aaroooooon! Hey! Were you

Scared?!" Oscar presses his face up against the window making a funny face.

Ruby looks at Oscar "So that's your Uncle?"

"Yeah. I haven't seen him or my aunt since I left though. And I haven't been able to check in on them. I hope they're doing alright." Oscar says with a sad tone. Ozpin puts his hand on the young man's shoulder.

"I'm sure they're fine my boy. In fact I'm sure they are worrying about you as well. Leaving home can be a difficult endeavor but it is one that we must all take on eventually. Make sure to continue on your journey with your head held high and remember to make time to do things that you enjoy. If you can visit home with a smile on your face then I'm sure that would do alot to alleviate any misgivings your family may have."

That seems to cheer Oscar up. "Thank you professor." He then looks back towards the screen.

Aaron washes dishes as Oscar spars with Aaron's punching bag not-very-competently. "You want that, huh? Unh. Unh."

"What's up with school?" Aaron asks.

"Going great. Got tons of friends."

"You can't tell me it's all that bad there... smart girls is where it's

at. Place must be full of 'em." Aaron walks over to the punching bag and holds it for Oscar.

"No, there's no one. There's no one." Aaron walks over to the microwave to get some popcorn.

"...Yo I cannot have a nephew of mine on the streets with no game."

"I got game! (fronting. Boy you ain't got no game)There was a new girl, actually, she's kinda into me. You know how it is."

This gets the attention of Qrow "Oh is she?" He leans towards Oscar as Oscar leans away from Qrow. "You better watch yourself kid or I swear-" Glynda slaps the back of his head for actions and then proceeds to admonish him.

"Qrow please act your age and stop bothering the poor boy" Qrow rubs the back of his head in pain.

"OW. I was just having fun. I wasn't going to actually do anything to the kid. " He then sits back in his seat and gestures to Oscar that he's got his eyes on the boy. In actuality, Qrow doesn't see any of the boys here being a danger to his nieces. Except Mercury of course. As he said, he just likes to have fun. Tai on the other hand…If he found out then none of these boys would survive.

"What's her name?" asks Aaron as Oscar sits on the couch, and scribbles in his notebook.

"-You know we... this is... we're laying down the groundwork right

Now." Aaron reacts, amused by Oscar's effort to sound cool.

"You know about the shoulder touch?"

Ruby gets excited "Ooo, Ooo, I do." Everyone but Qrow turns to Ruby with questioning looks. "Uncle Qrow taught it to me. Said it was a great way to pick up girls."

"Yes and your next lesson will be on the art of the smoulder" says Qrow in the voice of a wise master. Glynda casts a disappointed look towards him and speaks sarcastically.

"So glad to see you have taught your niece the most essential of skills."

"Hey, the art of picking up chicks is extremely difficult to master. And thanks to the skills I've taught them, my nieces will have any woman they want eating out of the palm of their hands. And it seems that this man is master himself. So I suggest that those among you who are uneducated in these matters pay close attention."

"Of course I do! But tell me anyway."

"Tomorrow find that girl, walk up to her and be like...(does shoulder touch)...Hey."

Oscar laughs at his uncle "You serious Uncle Aaron?"

"I'm telling you man, it's science."

"So walk up to her and be like… hey."

"No no no no... like hey…"

"Hey."

"No. "Heyyy"

"Heyyyyy."

Everyone except Ruby, Yang, and Qrow looks skeptical at best. Jaune speaks for everyone. "That can't actually work can it?" Qrow decides to answer him.

"Why don't we find out? Ruby tells me that you are a bit of a fast learner. She also told me of your failed attempts to woo the Ice Queen." Jaune turns towards Ruby with a look of betrayal. Ruby avoids eye contact while whistling to herself. "So why don't you try it out."

"...Now?"

"Yep. Right now." Weiss voices her skepticism as she stands up.

"Oh great. This should be good. Well come on Arc. Let's get this over with so we can prove that this man is crazy."

Jaune nervously gets out of his seat and stands in front of Weiss. He quietly psychs himself up and then releases a breath to steady himself. He then places a hand on her shoulder to apply the knowledge he just acquired. He gives her a charming smile and speaks the line. "Hey"

.

.

.

Weiss starts to blush and can no longer look Jaune in the eye. She tries to speak but she is failing terribly so instead she just sits back down. Jaune looks at his hand with disbelief. "No way". Nora cheers on Jaune.

"WOOO! Work your magic fearless leader." Pyrhha can't help but cutely pout. Yang sees a great opportunity to tease her white themed teammate.

"Well. Well. Well. Looks like Jaune has started to melt your icy heart. Should I start calling him lover boy now." Blake tries to hide her amusement by laughing into her hand. She fails. Weiss is embarrassed.

"Quiet you. And Blake, stop laughing. It's not funny." This only makes her laugh harder. Mercury is watching completely dumbfounded.

"No fucking way." He looks at his hand and decides to try the technique himself. On Emerald. He puts his hand to her shoulder, she looks toward him and he says the line. "Hey"

Emerald looks at his hand and then back at him. "Remove the hand or for the next week all you'll see is your father in the buff." Mercury quickly pulls his hand back. He then looks toward…Cinder? Has he lost his damn mind?

"Oh please go ahead. It's been a while since I got to enjoy burning someone alive." Yeah, Fuck That. Mercury then looks towards Neo and Roman.

"Sorry kid. You're not my type. I like my lovers to be female. And to have actual legs." Okay that was uncalled for. Neo smiles that scary ass smile and holds up a sign that reads "Try it and I'll skin you alive."

Mercury quickly moves towards Qrow and then gets on his knees. "PLEASE. TEACH ME YOUR WISDOM." Qrow thinks about it.

"Very well. We shall schedule some one on one time and begin your training." Mercury thanks Qrow while bowing to the master. Glynda is annoyed.

"I'm surrounded by idiots."

"If I remember correctly, you weren't complaining when James used that trick on you years ago." Ozpin interjects. Glynda has bright blush and turns away from the headmaster who in turn laughs as he takes another sip of coffee.

"You sure you're my nephew, man?" Oscar's phone vibrates. "Is that her?" Oscar checks his phone and sees a text from his Dad. "Done with that homework?"

"I should probably go. Still got a paper to do tonight." Aaron sees this text and then casually but deliberately changes the subject to Oscar's drawings in his notebook.

"Yo, you've been holding out on me. You throw these up yet?"

"No, man, you know my dad. I can't." Aaron gets up from the couch and he's excited.

"C'mon. I got a spot you ain't gonna believe."

"I can't! I can't, I can't"... He did.

Transition to them standing on the tracks of a subway system.

"He really should get started on that paper. The longer you put it off the harder it is to actually get started." advises Ren with Weiss, Glynda, and Pyrrha nodding their head in agreement.

"Exactly. The sooner you get started the better. Right, Ruby?" asks Weiss as she turns towards her leader who's pouting.

"But school work is so BORING." whines Ruby with Nora, Yang, and Jaune agreeing with her.

"Yeah. I'd rather read a comic book than do an assignment any day." Jaune voices his complaints which disappoints Pyrrha.

"Jaune I thought we talked about this."

"I know. I know it's important but it's so hard to keep up my motivation." This gives Pyrrha an idea. She once again puts her hand on Jaune's thigh. She then whispers in his ear as her hand drags up his thigh towards his…Well Damn. This version of Pyrrha is definitely more courageous. Go get him girl.

"Well I'm sure we can brainstorm some ways of keeping you…motivated." Jaune blushes so hard you can feel steam coming off him as Nora cheers on Pyrrha.

"I'm gonna get in so much trouble."

"Hey man, tell them your art teacher made you."

"Hey, how did you know about this place?"

"Did an engineering job down here."

Aaron and Oscar walk deeper and deeper down the tunnels and approach an electrified floor-to-ceiling fence. Aaron expertly climbs the fence, drops down on the other side. You know, the usual cool uncle thing to do. Now it's Oscar's turn but unfortunately his attempt was…less cool. But he made up for it by playing it off.

"Wassup?" Aaron laughs.

"Yeah man I knew we were related." Aaron leads Oscar into a huge space. Empty walls and spiderwebs as far as the eye can see. But what made the spot so special was the beautiful street art that adorn the walls. Art that Oscar can't help but admire.

He wasn't the only one. "Amazing." Says Ruby in adoration. Everyone in the room can't help but to agree with her.

"They're so beautiful. I wish I could speak with the artists so I could understand their vision." Blake says with reverence.

"This is definitely better than the crap that I saw on the streets I grew up in." remarks Emerald. Hell, even Glynda is impressed.

"I have to admit that the art on these walls is absolutely breathtaking." Qrow can't help but mess with her.

"Is the Great Glynda Goodwitch praising delinquents for defacing public property?" Glynda just glares at him while he wears a cocky smirk.

"Whoa… BROOKLYN! Brooklyn! Brooklyn!

"There's a lot of history on these walls."

"This is so fresh." Aaron gestures to a wall that he recently cleaned and prepped. He leans down to his bag and unzips it, revealing spray paint cans. He tosses a can to Oscar and presses play on a stereo.

"Now you're on your own, Oscar." Aaron stands back and tries to coach Oscar without taking over his nephew's vision. "Whoa, slow down a little... that's better... that's perfect." Unbeknownst to them, a faintly glowing SPIDER descends on a web, towards the ground and towards the cans!

"Ugh. I hate spiders." says Weiss. And most of the audience would agree with her. Including most of the women who can't help but make a face at the spider on screen. The only ones who don't seem to be affected are Blake and Emerald.. Blake had seen plenty of them while camping with the White Fang and Emerald basically grew up with them on the streets. Nike can't help but be confused.

'Are they serious? They face death down everyday and kill literal monsters but spiders still freak them out? That shit doesn't make sense. But then again, when do women ever make sense?' Every woman in the room suddenly felt an urge to slap Nike.

"Really? What's so scary about spiders? We're 100x bigger than them. You can easily squash them." voices Mercury just as confused as Nike. Cinder decides to educate him.

"Everyone has at least one irrational fear, Mercury." "Not me." Emerald looks at him like he's full of it.

"Aren't you afraid of mimes?" This gets everyone's attention. Though Qrow is the only one to speak on it.

"Really man? Mimes. That's just sad." "SHUT UP. You only say that because you don't know the darkness that lies in the heart of a mime. They're sick twisted monsters who want nothing more than to trap us all in an invisible box from which we can never escape."...IS THIS MF SERIOUS?

"Okay… How about we continue."

"The real Oscar, comin' out of hiding. Now you can cut that line with another color. That's it…"

"Little help?" cut to Oscar on Uncle Aaron's shoulders. For a beat afterward, they paint together.

"You want drips? 'Cause if you do,that's cool, but if you don't you gotta keep it moving…"

"That's intentional!" Aaron traces Oscar' silhouette on the wall.

"Wow." This was the collective response to Oscar's art. "No Expectations. I like it." says Ruby. Nora can't help but agree.

"Look Renny, it's so pretty."

"It is. I'm sure he put a lot of thought into it. Nike would it be possible for me to take a look at this later? I would like to study it and see if I could discern the full message behind the art." Weiss loves that idea.

"I believe that is a fabulous idea. I would like to study it as well if that's alright." Blake voices her agreement.

"It would be pretty fun."

"Sure. I can store it away for later. For now let's continue the story."

"Wow." Oscar steps back, admiring his work. "Is it too crazy?"

"No man. Oscar I see exactly what you're doing here, man. Yeah. You know me and your Dad used

to do this back in the day."

"Stop lying."

"It's true. Then he took on the cop thing... and I don't know. He's a good guy, just... you know what I'm saying…"

"It breaks my heart to see such a devious heart turned goody goody." cries Roman while Neo plays a sad song on the violin…WHERE THE FUCK DID SHE GET THAT FROM?

"Such wasted potential. He could have at least continued to be a small nuisance to society. But no, he has to try and better it." Cinders says, sounding disappointed. Emerald decides to chime in.

"It is a damn shame ma'am." You go Emerald. Way to continue the great art of brown-nosing.

Aaron's phone vibrates, he reads a message. A shadow across his face. "All right, come on man. I gotta roll." Aaron walks out of the tunnel leaving Oscar alone. Oscar takes one last look at their painting and takes a picture of it on his phone. There's the spider on the back of Oscar' hand. It bites him! We see the venom going through Oscar's bloodstream changing his body in ways that will forever change his life. Oscar flicks the spider and it falls off his hand. "Oscar, let's go!" Oscar runs to join his Uncle.

We cut back to the audience when Yang remembers a crucial detail from earlier. "Wait. Didn't Jaune get his powers from a spider bite? This one was glowing and acting weird. Is it like the one that bit Jaune?"

"Ding. Ding. Ding. Give the young lady a prize. This spider is like Jaune's and it will awaken spider powers in Oscar though there will be some differences. And we will get to see these differences in the future but for now let's…"

AN: Guess who's back. Back again. Nike's back. Tell a friend. But in all honesty. I never forgot this story. I always wanted to come back to it and I did a few times. But it would always be after work when I was tired or I'd be watching a game in the background and that would take my attention. And it sucks. Cuz I wanted to be one of those consistent writers who built up a big story with like 50 chapters that 80% of readers really enjoyed. But something always took my attention, whether it be work, school, friends, sports. I enjoy writing but it isn't the thing I enjoy doing most so it takes a back seat to alot. But I do wanna keep working on this. And what I said at the beginning is true. There will be at least 2 more chapters before Thanksgiving 2023. Because somehow this story still has some fans and I don't want to let you guys down again. So thank you to whoever followed this story yesterday. Because once I saw the notification I just had to finish this chapter. Still haven't gotten very far in the movie but I was afraid that if I tried to go farther, like I wanted to, that I wouldn't put out the chapter at all. Baby steps. We will get to the end of this movie. THIS I SWEAR.
