Kakashi woke up with the sun shining brightly in his eyes. He blinked and wondered why his right arm felt numb. As he turns to his right and came face to face to a cloud of pink hair.

As Kakashi blinked and tried to clear his head, he realized that he had fallen asleep next to Sakura. For the first time in six months, Sakura slept in his arms. The realization brought a small smile to his face. He watched as Sakura slept peacefully, her expression relaxed. Her presence beside him was comforting, and he couldn't help but feel grateful for this unexpected turn of events in their lives.

Careful not to wake her, Kakashi slowly and gently extracted his numb arm from beneath Sakura. He took a moment to appreciate the quiet morning, the warmth of the sun's rays, and the sound of Sakura's soft breathing.

He gently pressed a soft kiss in her hair. A green orb looked at him from under her hair.

"Good morning, husband." Sakura greeted Kakashi. Smile in her lips.

"Good morning, wife." he greeted back.

Sakura rise slightly to try and get a kiss from him. Kakashi lower himself to peck her with clothed lips. Kakashi and Sakura shared a tender morning kiss, their affection and commitment to each other evident in the gentle touch of their lips. It was a quiet, intimate moment that spoke volumes about their growing bond.

As they pulled away, Kakashi brushed a strand of pink hair from Sakura's face, his visible eye soft and affectionate. "I'm grateful to wake up next to you, Sakura," he whispered. "Every morning, it feels more and more right."

Sakura smiled warmly, her eyes reflecting her own feelings. "I feel the same way, Kakashi. Every moment we spend together makes me more certain that we can face whatever challenges come our way as long as we're together."

"Do we have work today?" Kakashi asked.

"No." Sakura sleepily answered. "Day off." She murmured as she draped her hand in Kakashi's arm.

"Well then," he said, then plopped next to Sakura. He draped his arm around her shoulder as Sakura scooted to him.

Sakura leaned into Kakashi's embrace, feeling the warmth of his body and the comfort of his presence. They lay there in silence for a while, content to just be with each other, enjoying the simple pleasure of their togetherness.

As they cuddled together, Kakashi couldn't help but think about how much his life had changed since their unexpected marriage. What began as a marriage of convenience had evolved into something much deeper and more meaningful. He never expected to find love and companionship in such a unique way, and he couldn't be more grateful for it.

"Sakura," Kakashi murmured, his fingers gently tracing patterns on her back. "I never thought I'd say this, but I'm glad we got married."

Sakura smiled against his chest; her voice filled with warmth. "Me too, Kakashi. Our marriage may have been unconventional, but it's brought us something beautiful and precious. I wouldn't have it any other way."

Kakashi smiled at her behind the mask. Which made Sakura frown, she fingered the edge of his mask. "I really wish you'd take this off." Sakura said. "Do you really have fish lips or buck teeth, is that why you're hiding it?"

Kakashi chuckled, and for a moment, he contemplated the idea of revealing his face to Sakura. She had a way of making him consider things he had long set aside. He tilted his head slightly and said, "Maybe someday, Sakura. But for now, let's enjoy the mystery."

Sakura laughed, knowing that Kakashi's mask had become a part of his identity, and she respected his choice to keep it on. She nuzzled closer to him, content and at ease in the warmth of his embrace. "Mystery or not, I love you, Kakashi."

Kakashi's heart skipped a beat at Sakura's words, and he held her a little tighter. "I love you too, Sakura."

Sakura smiled at his words. And she pressed her face in her chest, savoring the warmth that Kakashi exudes.
