Sakura slowly opened her eyes. She doesn't remember falling asleep. She scanned her surroundings with hazy eyes.
"So you're awake." a light happy voice came from the corner.
"Who are you?" Sakura asked, trying to stand up by her knees are wobbly.
"Don't force yourself." The man who owned the voice stated. Helping her to her feet.
"Who are you?"
The man smiled. "I'm Akihiko." The man introduced himself. "I am going to be your husband."
Sakura stared at the man with wide eyes. She pulled her hand away from his grasp and back away from him. "No!" Sakura told him. "Kakashi is my husband!"
The happy, boyish look from the man vanished as she said Kakashi's name. A menacing look replaced his smile.
"No. You will marry me!"
Sakura could feel her heart racing as she faced this man, Akihiko, who seemed determined to claim her as his wife. She knew that she couldn't allow this to happen, not only because of her love for Kakashi but also because she had already made a commitment to him.
"Listen, Akihiko," Sakura said firmly, "I am already married to someone I love deeply, and I won't betray that commitment. I won't be your wife. You need to understand that."
Akihiko's expression darkened, and his voice turned cold as he responded, "You don't have a choice in this matter, Haruno Sakura. My father, the Daimyo of this land has made his demands, and you will marry me. You can do this the easy way or the hard way."
Sakura refused to be intimidated by Akihiko's threats. She had faced danger and challenges as a ninja, and she wouldn't back down now.
"I won't marry you, and I won't leave my husband. I'm not going to give in to threats and force," Sakura declared with unwavering determination.
Sakura tried to infuse her hand with chakra so that she can leave that place. But for some reason she can't. She can't access her chakra.
Akihiko's eyes darkened. He will not let go of the pink-haired woman that was famed for her strength and her medical expertise. He will finally have a powerful wife that the first three cannot meet.
"You will never leave this place again, Sakura." he said, hooking his finger under her chin. "You will marry me, and you will bear me my heir!"
She met Akihiko's gaze with fierce determination. "I will never marry you, and I will find a way to escape from here. You can't force me into a marriage I don't want. And my heart already belongs to another."
Akihiko's grip on her chin tightened, and he hissed, "You're just a Kunoichi, Sakura. You think you can outsmart me and my father? You're gravely mistaken."
"My husband will come for me. He will take me back."
"Oh I hope he does. My father is waiting for him. If he is foolish enough to go looking for you, you'll see why my first three wives died."
Sakura felt a shiver run down her spine as she heard Akihiko's ominous words. She knew that she was in a perilous situation, but she also believed in Kakashi's abilities as a shinobi. She clung to the hope that he would come for her and find a way to rescue her from this threat.
"That's right, Sakura. Submit to me. And I will not have a reason to hurt you."
"Kakashi will take the threat against his wife very seriously," Sakura retorted, refusing to back down. "And when he does, you'll realize that you can't control love or break the bonds of a marriage that's built on trust and commitment."
Akihiko released her chin and took a step back, his expression a mix of frustration and anger. "We'll see about that. But for now, you'll remain here until you change your mind. I have other matters to attend to."
"Let me go!"
"You will never leave this place, Sakura. You will be my wife whether you like it or not."
"Take me back to my husband!" Sakura's voice shook with conviction as she spoke. "If you don't you will regret ever crossing paths with us."
Akihiko's anger flared, and he roughly released Sakura. "We'll see about that. You're not leaving this place until you agree to my terms."
Sakura's heart was heavy with worry and fear for what might happen to her and what her refusal might mean for Kakashi and Konoha. But she knew she couldn't give in to Akihiko's demands. She had to find a way to escape and get back to the village, back to her husband.
"Bring me back, Akihiro, please." Sakura pleaded. "I will never marry you. Let me go!"
Akihiko did not like Sakura's refusal of him. He reached and tightened his grip of Sakura's chin, almost bruising her. A satisfied smirk graced his lips as he heard the shinobi whimpered.
He leaned forward toward Sakura's face; he lips almost touching her when he felt a cold metal pressed against his throat.
