Kakashi's mismatched eyes glowed with hate and fury as he took in the sight. Sakura is cowering and whimpering in fear as a dark-haired man leaned towards his wife.

Kakashi's rage was a storm inside him as he quickly closed the distance between them. With blinding speed, he lunged at Akihiko, his hand moving to his kunai pouch. In an instant, Kakashi had a kunai pressed against Akihiko's throat, his Sharingan eye activated, radiating an intimidating red glow.

"Don't. Ever. Touch. My. Wife," Kakashi hissed, each word dripping with venom.

Akihiko's eyes widened in terror as he found himself at the mercy of a furious Hatake Kakashi, one of Konoha's most fearsome and legendary shinobi. The kunai at his throat left no room for doubt – one wrong move, and it would be the end for him.

Sakura, still trembling with fear, watched in awe as her husband had come to her rescue. She had never seen Kakashi this enraged, and the sight of him defending her with such ferocity made her heart swell with love and gratitude.

"Kakashi," she whispered his name, her voice filled with emotion.

Kakashi didn't take his eyes off Akihiko but acknowledged Sakura's presence with a subtle nod. "Are you alright, Sakura?" he asked, his voice laced with concern.

Sakura nodded, tears in her eyes. "I am now, thanks to you."

Akihiko was pale and trembling, his arrogance shattered. "Please, don't kill me," he begged, his voice quivering.

Kakashi's grip on the kunai tightened, but he didn't lower it. "Then remove your face from my wife." He demanded. His hand and kunai following every movement that the man made as he slowly distanced himself from Sakura.

Kakashi's other hand was offered to Sakura. Willing her to come to him. Sakura quickly stepped into Kakashi's outstretched hand, feeling the safety and warmth of his presence. She clung to him, her body shaking with the remnants of fear and adrenaline.

Kakashi turned his intense gaze back to Akihiko. "You won't harm my wife again," he stated firmly, his Sharingan eye still locked onto Akihiko's every movement.

Akihiko nodded frantically, his voice a shaky whisper. "I won't, I promise."

With one last hard, cold look, Kakashi slowly withdrew the kunai from Akihiko's throat. He took a step back, never taking his eyes off the man, ready to act in an instant if needed.

"Leave this place," Kakashi commanded, his voice filled with authority. "And remember this – if you ever cross our path again, the consequences will be dire."

Akihiko needed no further convincing. He turned and fled from the scene, disappearing into the darkness.

Kakashi watched him go, ensuring he was truly gone before he finally let out a breath. He turned his full attention to Sakura, his gaze softening as he wrapped his arms around her, holding her close.

"You're safe now, Sakura," Kakashi whispered, his voice soothing. "I'm here, and I won't let anyone harm you."

Sakura buried her face in Kakashi's chest, her tears finally flowing freely. "Thank you, Kakashi. I knew you'd come for me."

Kakashi held her tightly, his heart aching at her vulnerability. "Always, Sakura. I'll always come for you, no matter what." His hand is caressing her hair, as his clothed lips are pressed on her head.

"Take me home, Kakashi, please."

Kakashi held Sakura even more tightly, his protective instincts fully engaged. "Of course, Sakura. I'll take you home right now."

With Sakura in his arms, Kakashi began the journey back to Konoha, determined to ensure her safety and bring her back to the village. He couldn't help but think about the consequences of the Daimyo's actions and the threats made against his marriage, but at that moment, all that mattered was Sakura's well-being.
