Four years later...

"Sakura?" Kakashi called out to his wife. as he enter their house.

When Sakura married him for the second time, he married her in front of their closest friends. He gave her a new ring that she can wear alongside his mother's ring. He never removed his own wedding ring on his finger since that day as well.

He moved back to his parents' house before Sakura gave birth to their first born. A beautiful silver-haired girl. His daughter, his beautiful Hana.

"Sakura?" he called out again but stopped as he saw her sitting on the couch, her fingers in her lips. Signaling him to pipe down. A smile graced his lips under the mask as he watched the little girl sleeping peacefully in her mother's chest.

He carefully sat next to Sakura and brushed the stray silver locks of the sleeping girl.

"Why are you still awake?" Kakashi whispered to his wife as he leaned in to kiss her in the lips.

"She's waiting for you." Sakura whispered back. She carefully pulled her daughter away from her chest and placed her in Kakashi's arms as he reached out for the girl.

"Daddy?" a sleepy little voice called out. The tiny arms of the little girl encircled Kakashi's neck. "Daddy!"

"Hey, bud." Kakashi looked at the hazy grey eyes of his first-born. "You shouldn't keep Mommy awake when its late at night. Your baby brother needs Mommy to sleep." he lightly admonished his daughter and looked at Sakura's slightly noticeable bump.

"I was waiting for you, Daddy." Hana replied, voice laced with hurt.

Kakashi immediately consoled his daughter even before the tears showed themselves. Sakura would be furious if he made Hana cry.

"Hana, don't cry. I'm not mad." Kakashi murmured to the girl. "But next time, don't make Mommy stay up late, okay?"

"Okay." Hana simply answered as she buried her face on the crook of her father's neck.

Kakashi smiled and carried the girl to their bedroom. He tucked Hana tightly under the covers as Sakura entered the room.

"I'll just take a shower." Kakashi informed his wife. "I don't want the dirt from the mission to sully the sheets."

Sakura nodded as she slips under the covers on Hana's right. She slightly pulled Hana against her chest; her firstborn is growing up too fast for her liking. She's advance as it is, sooner she'll refuse to be tucked in.

Kakashi exited the bathroom half an hour later and saw that his wife had fallen asleep while clutching their daughter in her chest. He put the towel in one of the hooks on the side of their dresser, and he planted a kiss on Sakura's and Hana's forehead before he slipped in. His arm draped over the two women that he'll protect with his life.
