Chapter 19

I woke up early, before anyone else. I looked at the clock and it said four a.m. I slowly slid out from the bed, untangling myself from Rein. I stood and looked out the window. I would be lying to myself if I said I wasn't worried. I was actually terrified. So many unknowns, so many variables. What would happen to me if something happened to him?

I felt a silent tear slip down my cheek. I didn't bother to brush it away. It was pointless, as another soon followed. I just blankly stared out the window. I don't know how long I stood there, with tears rolling silently down my face, vaguely watching the night end.

I didn't hear Rein approach me. He came up behind be and wrapped his arms around my waist. I turned in his arms and buried my face in his shoulder.

"Shh, angel," he whispered. "I've got you."

He slowly lifted my chin with his thumb and forefinger. "I've got you," he repeated as his mouth crashed down on mine. It wasn't gentle. He was fierce. Devouring my mouth with his. His tongue was begging entrance to my lips. I opened and he consumed me. Like a last meal before the execution. I surrendered to him completely.

"Rein," I whispered. "Please."

He needed no more encouragement. He quickly stripped me of my clothing, barely breaking contact with my lips. Somehow, he was also naked. He picked me up and laid me on the bed. Gently he wiped my tears with his thumb. His tongue lapping upnthe salty trail on my other cheek.

"Don't cry angel," he whispered, before capturing my lips with one more soul crushing kiss. His hand was toying with my core. Searching, exploring.

"Mmmmm...so wet for me." He said.

I was quickly losing all thought except for one... "Rein l, I need you."

He needed no more encouragement. His hands we everywhere and no where at the same time. I was literally losing my mind with need. "Please." I begged.

"I'm afraid I'll hurt you." He panted.

"OH Gods!" I cried. "I don't care!"

Gentleness suddenly gone, he plunged into me. I let out a yelp and he quickly stilled.

"Did I hurt you?" He asked, concerned dotting his face.

" No, but if you don't start moving, I may hurt you!" I said breathless.

He let out a chuckle and began pumping into me. He had undone all my carefully erected walls. Walls I built years ago, long before I knew I was a sailor senshi.

Greedily, I kissed and sucked on his neck. He turned his head and his eyes came crashing back down on mine.

I was so close to loosing it. He sensed this and reached down between us. Touching my glorious core. A few strokes was all it took and I exploded. My eyes were squeezed shut in pure bliss. His mouth had caught scream, born out out of pure pleasure and love. I felt my powers heighten and they seemed to explode in waves of green fire.

Just as I was coming down, Rein told me to open my eyes. Once I opened them I saw what he saw. It wasn't my imagination. My power had enveloped us in a green cocoon of light. Forming a protection from the outside world where it was just us.

"I'm so close," he whispered. "I want you see whay yoy do to me." He said.

In a few more strokes he came in me and our cocoon exploded into a billion fairy fireworks, twinkling off slowly in the night.

Our senses gradually came back to earth. "Wow." I stated.

"Wow indeed." Rein chuckled. Soon we were both giggling quietly.

"We need to get ready to go soon." I said.

"I know," replied Rein. "Let me soak in our lovemaking for few more minutes. It's the only way u will be able to pull off this charade with Yukara."

We laid there for ten more minutes just enjoying each other's warmth. I almost dosed off when a knock on the door brought me back to full consciousness.

"Breakfast is ready, lovebirds." Said Haruka through the door. "It's a good thing everyone else was on the other wing. Otherwise, everyone would have seen your light show."

"I'm going to die of embarrassment." I said to Rein.

"We'll be there shortly." Said Rein to the door.

"Don't take too long. It's 5:30 and we need to get in place soon." Replied Haruka. "The watch I put on the buildings is scheduled to end at seven."

Rein quickly planted a chaste kiss on my forehead. "Go take a shower first."

I rushed into the bathroom and quickly showered. I exited the bathroom and saw Rein sitting on the bed. I walked to him and said it was his turn while giving a quick kiss. "I'll see you at breakfast."

I left the room and headed to the dining room while Rein showered.

In the dining room, Rei and Haruka were sitting around the table.

"Good morning." Greeted Rei.

"Good morning," I replied. "Smells delicious. Where's everyone else?"

"Yukara is in the shower, Michiru is waiting on her, and Ami and Mina went to grab some things and will be back soon. Mamoru is trying to rouse Usagi." Said Rei.

Just as Rei finished saying that, a sleepy Usagi emerged with Mamoru.

" Good morning guys." Yawned Usagi.

" Good morning." We all said back.

As we were busy getting coffee and breakfast plates, Ami and Minako made it back.

"What did you have to get?" I asked Ami.

" I needed to get more of the hands free communicators." Said Ami. "I only grabbed enough yesterday for us. I had to get more for Rein and Yukara.".

And like Ami conjured him, Rein stepped into the dining room. Everyone looked at him.

He was so hot! He was wearing a sharp dark grey suit that I'm not sure where got it from.

Rein came up to me and said quietly, "You might want to close your mouth before you swallow a fly." Then he leaned in and gave me a deep kiss.

Everyone laughed while I blushed.

"What did I miss?" Asked Michiru as she walked in with Yukara.

"Just a little PDA," replied Rei.

I was thoroughly blushing now. Rein had wrapped his arms around me. I tried ducking into his chest to hide my red face.

"Alright you too, break it up," said a smiling Mamoru. " We need to finalize the last minute details then get to our posts."

"Right!" Everyone agreed.

Ami got bust handing out new communicators. She tool a minute to adress me about mine.

"Makoto, you need to get going. The guards are off at 7." Said Haruka.

"Right." I nodded. I turned to Rein. "Be careful Rein."

"I'll walk you out."

We walked in silence to the front door. He looked down at me and my knees grew weak. All it takes is one look from his grey- green eyes and I was butter.

"I want you to be careful too. Come back in one piece, ok?"

I nodded, unable to form words. He sensed this and dipped his head to mine, our lips touching in the most gentle and soul consuming way. Once I had my bearings back, I looked up at him. " Even the universe couldn't keep me from you. I love you."
