'Eh, where am I? Wait, isn't this Heavens Blazer? Didn't I delete this character?' Looking at my hand, I couldn't understand what was going on.
Shouldn't I be inside my mansion?
How can I be Heaven's Blazer? This is just a game avatar from Yggdrasil yet here I am moving my fingers and breathing, something that Yggdrasil does not allow.
I could feel the vast amount of power at my fingertips, along with many spells and skills that I knew I could instinctively use.
As long as I do it, I could summon meteors, or freeze the world. Yet, even with this sensation that said it's real, my mind is saying otherwise.
Looking at the throne, I remembered before I quit the game, I was sitting on this throne, Fate of Worlds, a Divine Tier Item, and now I appeared at the exact same place.
Moving my hand, it vanished into a black dimension, from which a two meter long sword sheathed in a black scabbards. The scabbard of the sword was plain, with no designs.
This weapon was equal to the entirety of the Eternal Expanse, meaning it was above a World Class item. In Yggdrasil, the highest rank of an item is World Class item but if one sacrifices many World Class Items and spends a vast amount of money, one can create another tier of items, called Immortal Tier Item.
This sword is called Rule Breaker, a weapon that once drawn, if not used, will harm the user. This sword is impossible to stop, or miss once it is drawn. Of course there are many other functions of the item.
Placing the Rule Breaker back into my inventory, I walked outside the Celestial Court and looked up at the boundless darkness that seemed to be bearing down on the world. There were no stars in that darkness, there was nothing but darkness!
Looking down, one would see nine layers known as the Nine Heavens, that were as big as the External Expanse. The Nine Heavens looked like a place for immortals and gods, as they possess heavenly waterfalls, colorful clouds, large trees, and large bodies of water that seem to possess its own mind.
Unfortunately, even though the Nine Heavens were large, they were mostly without life. Except for the Ninth Heavens which had the Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors and the First Heavens which had 3000 Immortals and Celestials, all else is without life.
In the Eight Heavens, nine large suns were shining on all things, bringing light to the other side of darkness.
In the Seventh Heaven, there were many stars that dotted the skies.
In the Sixth Heaven, there was a large river flowing down from the previous heavens.
In the Fifth Heaven, there was a vast landmass of fruits and trees looking like a paradise.
In the Forth, Third, and Second there was nothing, but a large landmass.
Below the heavens, is the Mortal World, which possesses humans, hetermorphics, and few other humanoid races making the world chaotic. No, it was the battle taking place that shocked the land, and caused the land to bleed river, that was shocking.
Looking at this scene, I know without a doubt that the NPCs that I created were alive and following the backstories I created for them, which is frightening.
In this world, the pursuit of immortal life is the drive of this world.
Back on Earth, I was from the United States but my family was deeply traditional Chinese, which made my fascination with Chinese Mythology deeply rooted in this world.
I never expected that my simple move would cost the lives of so many people. If they were mere data, it would not mean anything, but they were alive with their own family and friends.
The more I thought about it, the more sad and complicated I felt.
Closing my eyes, I pondered about what to do. I could descend and tell them to stop but would they obey me? And even though I'm powerful, if everyone attacks me, can I stop them?
Even though I'm an Eternal Bright Lord, I have no intention of testing the limits of my power and race advantage.
Thinking for a minute, I pulled out a pale blue crystal book with the title of 'Celestial Book of Life' before opening it.
All the names of the beings inside this world were inside the book, from the mortals to the Immortals.
Eh?
Why are names disappearing so fast and new ones being generated almost as soon? Wait, could this mean that people are dying and some are being born?
Does this mean I actually have a Celestial Book of Life?
Shaking my head, I looked for my name in the book and as expected my name wasn't there, which is understandable since I wasn't born in this world.
Pausing, I look up from the book as I sense the temperature seem to increase, not enough to affect my current form but high enough to notice.
I closed my eyes and then reopened them a few times with shock, because a large golden sun rising up from the Eight Heavens, and moving towards the Celestial Court, into my location.
I'm not going to lie, I am terrified. No one would look at this scene and not be surprised.
However, while looking at the sun approaching me, I couldn't help but produce a feeling of closeness and love towards it.
As I waited, the sun flew above my head before beginning to shrink and assume the form of a small girl with two golden pigtails and blazing golden eyes. Her cute face looks delicate and beautiful. Her checks possess baby fat which makes one have the urge to protect her.
She, just like me, is wearing a white robe that has gold and red stripes at the edges, making the girl look like a princess. She is barefoot, but as if the ground didn't want to sully her, she floated an inch above the ground looking like a fairy.
The girl landed on the ground, and looked at me with happiness, while running towards me, "Father, I miss you, cyaaa." The girl hugged my neck and cried in happiness.
'Father..father father…' Hearing these words, my eyes twitched. While I know her identity, me being her father seems a bit too much. I'm only 25 years old, how could I be her father?
This was definitely because I max out my racial levels in Golden Crow. As a reward for walking an unprecedented path and reaching a stage most players would never reach, I was rewarded with the job class ' Father of the Suns'.
The Father of the Suns allows me to access more abilities and skills that a typical Golden Crow would not be able to access. But the biggest benefit is the fact that one will gain nine suns who are your children. The more you nurture them, the more powerful they will become.
The maximum level for a Golden Crow is level 80 but if one invests a large amount of money into them, they can become stronger and assume the form of suns at level 100.
While they pale in comparison to the actual sun, they were powerful in their own right.
Unlike most creatures of Yggdrasil, Golden Crows don't have any major weakness other than water and dark magic, which can be negated with enough heat.
Golden Crows feast on dragons on the like, making them far more powerful than dragons of the same level.
After the Golden Crows become level 100, I place them in the Eight Heavens, a great distance from the Mortal World but close enough to shine their light all at once, without any fear of destroying the world.
As the Father of the Suns, she is indeed my daughter. I'm not too against it but looking at the other eight sun, my balls became heavy. I didn't even have a wife yet I'm forced to be the father of nine children who were actually suns.
Patting her back in a gentle manner, while my other hand held the Celestial Book of Life.
Looking at the girl that could be called a goddess or an angel in terms of appearance, I wiped her tears and asked gently, "Darling, what is your name? I have been gone for a while." I felt like an asshole, how is she going to feel? Her own father forgot her name.
Looking shyly at me, while hiding most of her face, she angrily spoke, " Father, I don't have a name, you didn't name us. And how is five thousand years a while? We thought you abandoned us."
Embarrassment appeared on my face, how was I supposed to tell her that I quit the game and indeed abandoned them? Well, that is when I wasn't aware that they were sentient, so no one could hold that against me, but from what she said I could assume many things.
Firstly, the NPCs are aware of things even when they are mere data. So that would also mean they should still be loyal to me.
Secondly, five years translated to five thousand years for them, which is to say I would be twenty five thousand years old if I use my age.
Thirdly, my children are under the impression that I abandoned them.
"Something very important took place and I had to be there. However, I promise you that I won't be leaving any time soon." Fondly her head, I was surprised that her hair felt like water or maybe refined silk? I couldn't help but ruffle her head, which made her smile in contentment.
As for what I said, I meant it. Even with all my intelligence and strength, it was unlikely for me to return home, and even then it was unlikely that I would want to.
All that's waiting for me is the reproduction of offspring, who will contend to become the leader of the family. Only the strongest have the right to lead after all.
"Okay, I shall name you right now…" I began to ponder, my game avatar name is Heaven's Blazer, but my true name is Chu Yi, with the surname Chu and given name Yi, which means Devouring.
Thinking for a moment, while my surname doesn't have any powerful significance, that had been my name for over 25 years, so I decided to give her my surname, "My name is Heaven Blazer, but since I have a family I will give us a name, our surname will be Chu. My name will be Chu Yi and yours will be Chu Ming, the others will be named at a later date." As I gave Ming her name, which means Bright, the Celestial Book of Life pulsed and floated out of my hand, before flipping to a page, which had Ming'er name and information. Underneath her name, a new title has been added , 'Daughter of Heaven's Blazer'.
"My name is Chu Ming, I have a name." A pure smile appeared on her face that could melt one's heart, as she whispered.
Retrieving the book, I realized something. Since the Eternal Expanse is here, then the Great Underground Tomb of Nazarick should be here as well.
The Eternal Expanse is connected to Nazarick via the last floor of Nazarick. If the NPCs of the Expanse have gained sentience, then those inside Nazarick should as well.
"Ming'er, let me ask you a question that has been bothering me. What happens to the creatures that die in the Mortal World? How are the creatures born?" Does the setting remain the same or change, since they were not mere data anymore?
"Those that die, have their souls sent to the Underworld, the area where light doesn't exist. In the Underworld, they will become spirits with all their memories in life and even reincarnate if they are fortunate. Creatures are born when two beings do the act of love." Ming'er shyly explained, not daring to look at her father.
I was amazed. Not only did the NPCs gain life, the entire Eternal Expanse became perfect, it even had an underworld. There is one thing that I focus on, 'if they are fortunate enough they will reincarnate'. When I heard this, I remembered I made it so the NPCs were recycled after death to maximise the potential of the next spawn NPCs. But it seems that the souls are summoned to the Underworld to be recycled and the few who make the cut are reincarnated.
However, even with how amazed I was, I still felt guilty. Fom Ming'er, I was 100% sure that the Celestial Book of Life was not wrong, creatures were indeed dying which means that friendly fire was gone.

Shaking my head, they probably took me off their friend list since I did leave when everything was just beginning or forgot who I am. Looking at my cute daughter, "Ming'er, I want to visit the Mortal World."
"Father, I will escort you!" Ming'er was excited, what an honor it is to show her father what they had done, preserving what he created.
Nodding, looking down at the eight suns and the Mortal World, I had a sense of excitement and fear, does work?No it does, how else could Ming'er transform into human form? Even if that's because it was her innate skill, I could also transform into a Golden Crow to fly but since becoming an Eternal Bright Lord, transforming into a Golden Crow was beneath me.
Jumping off the platform and shouting in my heart, I began to fly through the starry skies, followed by Ming'er, who kept shouting, " Father, you are suppose to ride on your carriage, how are the mortals supposed to feel seeing their Creator walk on the same ground as them?!"
"Ming'er, don't worry about such things, visiting my creations doesn't mean I have to look perfect." They were indeed my creations as I designed the spawns' functions and backstories they are moving in accordance with.
Pouting, Ming'er floated next to her father feeling upset! As the Creator of this world, how could he not keep up appearance? But while she was upset, she was happy to be able to spend time with her father.
I smile a little seeing her changing appearance, no matter where, race or age, women are bipolar creatures, thankfully she is my daughter, if she was my wife, I would be annoyed.
Looking down, I flew slower as I passed through the Ninth Heavens.
To enter the Nine Heavens, one must do something significant to the world.
This was modeled after the Chinese Mythology of the saints and gods. Only by benefiting the world would one gain the right to achieve immortal life and status.
In the Eight Heavens, I pass my other children, who were acting as the suns. As I passed them, I could sense they were looking at me, making me smile in return. No matter what, they were my children in this life, so I was happy to see them.
In the First Heavens, there were many immortal cities and towns with Immortals flying through the skies, making it look like an Immortal Realm.
Quickly passing through the other heavens, we stood above the Mortal World, looking at the creatures below. There were many beasts roaming the lands and humans who created tribes, towns and cities, fighting against each other.
I slowly descended to the ground, making the creatures around me to kneeled down, beast and humans alike.
Observing them, I was surprised, the humans of the Mortal World were more civilized than I thought. They were wearing armour and swords, yet they are still being pushed back by the beasts?
The beasts were more durable and huge than their counterparts. Did they evolve and grow stronger? That would make sense, with the constant need to grow stronger as to not die, they would become stronger than normal.
Looking at the growing number of creatures kneeling, I spoke, "There is no need to kneel, you may rise."
"Celestial Emperor, Your Majesty, we don't dare. Kneeling before our Creator is expected." An old man with long white hair and patchy beard replied with reverence and awe.
Turning my head, I looked at Ming'er, " What is this Celestial Emperor they spoke of? I don't remember having this title."
Shaking her head, Ming explained, "Father, I don't know, I just know that they called the land of the Celestial Court the Celestial Realm and the ruler of it, the Celestial Emperor." She was proud that these mortals knew how to respect her father, but she honestly didn't know the origin of their terms.
How could a goddess pay attention to mere ants?
"Oh, having one more title isn't a problem, since it matches my status as the Creator of the Eternal Expanse. Tell me, how has life been here in the Mortal World, is there anything you wish to change?" Looking at the creature still kneeling, I asked. I am willing to change the status quo of the Mortal World, repaying the lives that died because of me.
A serpent-like creature spoke in a deep guttural tone, "Your Majesty, the Mortal World has been a war zone between us beasts and humans for five millennia. I wish to know the reason for this."
A surprise glint appeared in my eyes, but before I could answer, Ming'er aura exploded, making everyone's body press into the dirt. "Know your place, questioning my father's words is not something the likes of you can do." The air became hot and explosive.
Looking at Ming'er, I became aware of my and the creature's status in Ming's eyes. I frowned and tried to use the power of the Father of the Suns, easily suppressing Ming's power and wrapping her up in friery chains.
"Ming'er, calm down, I allow them to speak, don't interfere." I didn't realize my voice had become authoritative and dignified.
Ming'er shivered, with downcast eyes that started to become watery, and began to cry. Her cries cause the starry skies to become friey, with the eight other suns, releasing their rays, but as if seeing Chu Yi they take their rays back and cower in fear.
I released the chains binding her, feeling guilty. Ming'er took the opportunity to fly away.
Signing, I look back at the almost cooked creatures and wave my hand, using one of my racial skills "."
Flames appeared and wrapped the creatures up, restoring their health and injuries. "I hope you can forgive her, she is but a child."
"No harm feelings, Your Majesty, the Young Princess is young." The serpent creature spoke, but one could hear the disbelief hidden in his words. This serpent had been around for thousands of years, and had seen the young princess by chance. He had seen her transform from one of the suns into her current form, playing with the creatures here before being called back by the suns.
With his knowledge, he realizes there have always been nine suns since the beginning of time, meaning that the princess was older than all the creatures in this world, but she still looked young and immature.
Nodding, I began to speak, "To answer your question, i made it so that humans and beasts are to fight in order to produce exceptional talent, unfortunately i didn't imagine the price you all had to pay for my goal, so i have come down to ask what you wish to change."
All the creatures, beasts and humans had a look of disbelief, but no anger or vengeance appeared from them. They already knew something was wrong many years ago, so beasts and humans came together to allow only beasts and humans of a certain age to fight. Preserving the strength of both races.
"That's all i wanted to know, I don't wish for anything to change, this life is all my people know, changing it to something else would be too drastic of a change."
Everyone nodded in agreement, how just was their Creator to come to listen to their words? How can they spit in his face and say he created an imperfect world? And just like they said, they were happy with their world, because everyday is a battle. If one gives up, they will die, but if they wish to live they must fight.
"This is surprising, but I'm thankful that you all are content with your lives. To that end, I have decided that once any creature reaches level 60, they can ascend to the First Heaven. The human and heteromorph will gain the title of gods or immortals, while the beast will become Divine Beast/Ominous Beast. This is my apology for what I did. Now, I bid farewell."
Giving them something to fight for is never wrong. I could tell they only wanted to please me, that's why they didn't speak honestly but I was satisfied since I noticed they were stronger than they should be. Maybe the random attributes that the spawn are supposed to get, increase the upper limits of the Mortal World? Maybe in the future there will be level 100 NPCs? Impossible.
Flying back to the Celestial Court, I increased my speed to the maximum and my speed broke through what seemed to be space and appeared above the Nine Heavens.
Such speed!
I knew my agility exceeded the limit but such speed was frightening. It felt like I really broke through space.
Moving my hand as fast as I could, I looked closely and indeed, I cracked space, but it soon recovered.
I only smiled, the stronger I was the better. Strength was the only truth, no matter where one is located.
Raising a hand, I felt the hard ceiling of the Eternal Expanse. Even if I increase my strength, I could not break the ceiling, making me smile with relief. If the ceiling had broken, I would be forced to limit the amount of power that can be used in this world to protect it.
If I had to choose between the NPCs and the Eternal Expanse, I would choose the Eternal Expanse any day. I built this place with my bare hands, so I have more affection for it.
Collecting myself, I looked for Ming'er and found her sitting on my throne crying.
Approaching her, I took her into my arms, "Ming'er, please stop crying. Father was wrong, I didn't mean it, okay." Rubbing her back, I gently talked to her.
"Father is a meanie, you made me cry." Seeing the caring side of me, Ming'er stopped crying and buried her head in my chest. Snot dripping on my clothes, however, I didn't care.
"Sorry, it's an old habit, I'm a ruler after all." I looked at her and cleaned her face with my hand. Kissing her on the forehead, I sat her on my lap, "Ming'er, i'm about to visit my old home, would you want to come with me?"
Holding her forehead, Ming'er nodded with a shy smile, "I will go anywhere you go."
Pulling out a token, I opened the passage to Nazarick.
Without this token, it is impossible to enter the Eternal Expanse. It doesn't matter if one has a World Class Item or if one was a Dev, it would be the same.
This is why no one in Nazarick, even if they use the Master Source can find the Eternal Expanse.
