With his father's blood coursing through his veins, Todoroki Shouto isn't afraid to face his opponents no matter their quirk. Not only is his ice powerful enough to fight with and defend himself, but there's nothing scarier than the fire coming from his left side. That's what he thought, up until he met Midoriya Izuku.
The boy who, in spite of his meek demeanor, had the most intimidating quirk one's ever seen. The ability to turn quirks into creatures under his command, the power to own the abilities one's born with. Quirks may as well be attracted to him since they run to him like moths to a flame - that is to say, no contact is needed, as one is rendered powerless as quirks go to him like magnets.
Shouto talked big back in the locker room, but inwardly he's just as apprehensive to face the other boy in the arena. He's not afraid of Midoriya's power, neither is he scared to fight him. Instead, he's terrified of seeing what kind of monster his quirk will morph into, and how he'll be powerless once his powers are taken from him.
But instead of whatever eldritch horrors Shouto imagined it to be, what he least expected was for his quirks to turn into a pair of twin dragons representing both ice and fire, in the form of lindworm dragons, so intertwined that it looks impossible to separate them, looking as dense as reality as it slithers midair around Midoriya, fading into wisps behind the boy.
Shouto expected a lot of things, and he'll never admit this, even to himself, but at that moment, the truth is that he's never seen his fire look so elegantly beautiful.

Me: Izuku's quirk is a hybrid that's a mix of Inko's attraction quirk since quirks just GO to him, and an evolved version of All For One, because of course it's DFO, but he doesn't steal quirks per se, but they go to him when he calls them, so he's essentially bringing it to life and borrowing other people's pets.
