"You got any mail for Bitsy?" Helen asked.

"Not really." The hotel clerk sifted through the mail. "Not anything noteworthy anyway." He sifted some more and came across an envelope that stood out to him. "Oh, wait, she did get something!"

"Really?" Helen leaned in to get a closer look. "Let me see."

The hotel clerk handed Helen the envelope. "Here you go. Say, you wouldn't happen to know who Dorothy Kinsella is, would you?"

Helen raised an eyebrow. "She's Bitsy's aunt, why?"

"...no particular reason. Just that last I checked, they weren't exactly on speaking terms."

"Okay, thank you. I'm going to take this back to Bitsy now."

The hotel clerk gave her a quick thumbs up. "My pleasure, Miss Squillace."

With that, the hotel clerk proceeded to watch as Helen ascended towards the penthouse all the way at the top of the Brandenham.

"Any mail for me?" Bitsy asked Helen.

"The only thing that came in for you was from your aunt Doro," Helen replied. "Seems kind of odd since the last time you spoke was a year ago at Ambrose's funeral..."

Bitsy cut her off and rolled her eyes. "Ugh, don't remind me. That whole thing was such a shitshow."

"...so I don't know why she would be reaching out to you now."

"Like it even matters anyway. Get me a letter opener! I need to see what the hell was so important that she had to send it to me."

Helen did so, and within a minute, Bitsy managed to haphazardly open the envelope and fish out the contents inside. To her surprise, it looked like an invitation to a party.

"Hmph, an invitation to Doro's 87th birthday, it's taking place this Friday..." Bitsy's eyes slightly widened when she read something that stood out to her. "...and it'll be at Nai'a and Gerry's manor on 3022 Kahalawai St.? What about the house she was living in on 3917A Omao Rd? Couldn't she have her party there?"

Helen could only shrug. "Maybe Doro wants to hold her party at Nai'a's manor? Have you considered that?"

"Oh, for God's sake, why do I even care? It's not like I'd want to go to this stupid thing in the first place."

"Maybe if we bring Whitney and her family with us, it'll make the trip over to Koloa more tolerable."

"You sure about that?"

"Pretty sure. Besides, it'd be nice to take a break from trying to go scorched earth on Central Park."

Bitsy had to think about this for a second before reluctantly replying with, "Fine. But I'm going to need someone to look after Shampagne while we're gone."

After Bitsy and Helen had told the Diamond family everything about the situation with Doro and her 87th birthday party, everyone decided to board a private jet from New York City to Koloa in the hopes that they would make it to the birthday party on time. The flight itself would take about thirteen hours, so there was plenty of time to be spent before everyone made it to their destination.

Whitney decided to spend most of that time looking out the window. She couldn't help but reflect on everything that had happened within the past several months; namely, finding out that her youngest child Petunia had faked her own suicide and then died from childbirth complications three years later. She considered herself extremely fortunate that her grandson was able to help her heal and grieve when he did. Otherwise, she didn't know how she could go on. As Whitney gazed down at the passing scenery hundreds of feet below her, memories flooded her mind. She remembered the day Steven had told her about Petunia's deceitful plan, the shock and disbelief that had consumed her. The pain of losing her daughter twice was unbearable, and it took time for her to come to terms with the immense betrayal.

Goldie and Maya both had similar thoughts regarding the truth about Petunia. They had been devastated by the revelation and struggled to comprehend the depths of Petunia's deception, a sense of betrayal overwhelming them. Neither could fathom how someone they'd known since birth could have orchestrated such a deceitful plan. They also couldn't help but feel guilty that they'd inflicted so much pain and anguish onto their younger sister that she would pull off this stunt so she could get away from them.

On the other hand, Helen was thinking about all the money that was going to come flowing in once Bitsy bit the dust. Hopefully, something would be coming along to kill off the old makhasheyfe, and she'd be getting her inheritance sooner rather than later. After all, she'd been waiting patiently for over twenty years. That kind of patience better have been worth it.

As for Bitsy, she couldn't help but get repeatedly agitated over TikTok of people posting cooking hacks of varying questionable quality. At least once or twice, she could be heard screaming at the screen whenever a content creator seemed to do something in the video to piss her off.

Everyone else continued to look out the window while Bitsy kept yelling at the phone over TikTok videos. Eventually, as if in the blink of an eye, everyone had finally arrived at their destination on the island of Kauai. The pilot landed the plane at Lihue Airport, which was located eleven miles and just nineteen minutes away from Koloa. Upon walking into the airport, they were met with faces that were somewhat familiar to Bitsy and Helen, but not to the Diamond family.

The first face to stand out belonged to Wiwon Teresa Wynnewood (or, as she preferred to be called, Tree). She had bronze-colored skin and dark hair that was pulled back into a tightly braided bun, showcasing her delicate features. Her almond-shaped hazel-green eyes sparkled with intelligence and curiosity, reflecting a depth of knowledge and wisdom beyond her years. Tree's presence exuded a sense of confidence and warmth, drawing others to her like moths to a flame. Despite her petite frame, Tree carried herself with grace and an unmistakable aura of strength. Her clothing, a blend of vibrant colors and flowing fabrics, echoed her free-spirited nature. She adorned herself with intricate jewelry, each piece telling a story of her travels and adventures.

Next up was Nai'a Pritchard. She was the youngest daughter of Doro and her late husband Cecil. She had honey-colored skin, reddish-brown hair, brown eyes, and a mole right above her upper lip. She was known for her adventurous spirit and infectious laughter, as well as a natural curiosity about the world, and she was always eager to learn something new. Growing up in an artistic household, she developed a love for painting and drawing from a young age. Growing up, she often found herself taking on the role of peacemaker among her siblings, gently diffusing any conflicts that arose. Her empathy and understanding made her a trusted confidante to her brothers and sisters, always ready to lend an ear or offer guidance.

Lastly, there was Nai'a's husband Gerry. He had sand-colored skin, graying black hair, and blue eyes. He possessed a rugged charm that perfectly complemented his easygoing nature. His piercing blue eyes seemed to hold a depth of wisdom, reflecting the experiences life had bestowed upon him. His presence in the family brought a sense of stability and strength. He was a pillar of support for Nai'a, always there to lend a listening ear or offer a helping hand.

"My God!" Tree exclaimed. "It's so good to see you."

Helen smiled slightly. "You too, Tree. I haven't seen you since..."

"...the funeral. I know. It's nice you could come." She then turned to focus her attention on Bitsy. "You remember me, don't you?"

"No, I definitely don't," Bitsy replied. "And if I did, I wouldn't say I did. So go put your hand on your face and then put your face up your butt where it belongs."

Tree was somewhat taken aback. "Wow, rude."

Helen awkwardly chuckled. "Well, that's Bitsy for you."

Nai'a smugly crossed her arms. "Yes, Tree, don't you know by now this is how Bitsy has always been?"

Tree indignantly rolled her eyes. "Silly me. How could I have forgotten?"

"Well, I suppose we shouldn't waste any more time," Nai'a said. "You and Helen and your friends are going to need to get to Koloa as soon as possible."

Nai'a proceeded to explain to them that Koloa was a small coastal town located on the island of Kauai, known for its stunning beaches and lush landscapes. She also explained the directions for getting there as they were all leaving the airport and taking a rental car: they needed to head south from the airport and follow the main road until they reached a junction. At the junction, they would turn left onto Highway 50 and continue driving for about 30 minutes until they reached Koloa. She advised them to keep an eye out for signs along the way to ensure they stayed on the right track. Eventually, they made it to their destination: 3022 Kahalawai St.

"Welcome to our humble manor, gang," Nai'a spoke up. "This is where we will be celebrating my dear mother's 87th birthday."

Maya gawked as she took in the huge house before her. "Wow, this is so stunning."

Nai'a beamed. "Thank you, Maya. You know, my family and I have heard so much about you and your family, and I think this is the first time we've interacted in person."

Nai'a led the group inside the house, where they were greeted by the comforting smell of home-cooked food.

"Hmph, look at it," Bitsy just said. "It's old, crusty, and smells like farts."

"Mmm, doesn't remind me of anybody," Helen remarked sarcastically.

"Sorry if the turnout's low," Gerry apologized. "The other sixty guests haven't arrived yet, so we'll have to be patient until they get here."

Maya tilted her head at the number. "Sixty? Sounds like it'll be one hell of a birthday party for Doro."

"Indeed it will be," Nai'a agreed. "Mom has been looking forward to this for weeks."

Gerry nodded with a smile. "Yes, Nai'a and her siblings wanted to make it a big celebration for her. In fact, I've been helping them plan all sorts of things for a while now, and so's Tree. We've done everything that we can to make it special for her."

"You're sticking around for the party tonight, right?" Nai'a asked hopefully.

Bitsy bluntly responded with, "No."

"Say yes," Helen demanded in a hushed tone.

"I mean, ye... no."

"Say yes."

"Yea... no!"

Helen quickly covered for her boss. "She means yes. That sounds great."

Nai'a clasped her hands together. "Oh, wonderful! You will not be disappointed."
