Sorry it took so long and is so short. I've been stuck deciding the final pairing for Hermione. It is driving me crazy. And I won't lie I've been busy reading fanfiction too. My next chapter should have the Cullens, and I should have decided the final pairing. I just feel strongly for a certain pairing though most people seem to want another. I like the idea, but I just don't think I can write a romantic scene with Hermione and Jasper. I see them as having a more sibling relationship. I just don't see him that way. I can read stories that have him as the romantic counterpart. I'm just not having any luck writing it.
Please let me know what you think in a comment and thanks to everyone for the reviews, kudos, recommends etc. I truly appreciate it.
Jacob sat waiting in wolf form watching the blank space where he knew the tent was. He really should have gone home and gone to sleep last night. Then again, he should have gone to school the next day. But he couldn't pry himself away. He was just so worried his precious imprint would pack up and disappear forever on him.
It was about time for school to be out when he saw it, A red Ford Shelby super snake drove up and parked not far away. His imprint and the young man got out and suddenly the awesome car changed to appear to be a giant boulder. Jacob was confused. How did his imprint leave the tent without him noticing? He didn't think he had fallen asleep, but he did close his eyes and rested them for a few minutes this morning. He needed to be more vigilant. He couldn't lose his imprint. She was too important to him.
He was about to change back and let them know he was there when Harry and Hermione started to talk.
"So, want to do some meditating before we go?" Harry asked?
"Sure, but Harry I need to talk to you about the Cullens," Hermione responded.
"Does this have anything to do with what was wrong this morning?"
"Yes, Harry we need to keep our guards up around the Cullens. They are some kind of magical being and I suspect Edward was trying to read our minds this morning and all during lunch and in every class, I had with him."
"I sensed it too but didn't realize it was Edward. What do you think they are?"
"That I will have to research. At first I thought they were vampires or veela."
"But their eyes aren't red, and they aren't all blonde, are there Veela with other colored hair?"
"I will have to research that and get back with you." Hermione declared.
"In the meantime, we had better get started on meditations and dinner. We have to…" Harry stated just as they stepped over the threshold of the wards around the tent. The sound cutting off when they passed. Jacob laid back down determined to watch and wait for when she would reappear.
About an hour or two later Sam's mental voice called out to him from back at La Push. "Jacob," Instantly Jacob knew that he was irritated with him because Billy had complained that Jacob hadn't been back home all night long and didn't go to school today.
"But my imprint." He objected to being pulled away.
"I'll send Seth to keep watch on their camp sight. But come now Billy is not happy, for that matter neither am I. You have to take care of yourself first Jacob or you will be no good for your imprint."
Hesitantly and with great longing to remain Jacob turned and left the clearing. Just missing the head of caramel curls and shaggy black hair emerging from the tent. Together Harry and Hermione hopped into the car which no longer looked like a boulder and took off for the Cullens. They had agreed to meet to study.
