713. Chapter 713

Spyro, Whirlwind, Lyla, Superstorm, Ronald, Cynder, Rylee, Colin, Sunburn, Moonfreeze, Camo, Duna, Zap, and Erase were walking on the path until they got to the Gem Crossing Depth.

"Wow! Look at this beautiful lake!" Ronald and Cynder said.

Then Spyro, Whirlwind, Lyla, Superstorm, Ronald, Cynder, Rylee, Colin, Sunburn, Moonfreeze, Camo, Duna, Zap, and Erase walked thirty two steps forward.

"Hey, look there's someone up ahead!" Ronald and Cynder said.

Then Spyro, Whirlwind, Lyla, Superstorm, Ronald, Cynder, Rylee, Colin, Sunburn, Moonfreeze, Camo, Duna, Zap, and Erase walked across the bridge until they got to the Gem Crossing Terrain.

"Look, there's Renner and Azite!" Ronald and Cynder said.

Then Renner defeats Azite.

"Now, I'll take it! The Gravity Gear!" Renner said.

Then Renner went around Azite until he got to the other side and then turned to the lake and walked eight steps forward.

"No, you can't take it… Never!" The blue sprite said.

"We have to help him!" Ronald and Cynder said.

Spyro, Whirlwind, Lyla, Superstorm, Ronald, Cynder, Rylee, Colin, Sunburn, Moonfreeze, Camo, Duna, Zap, and Erase started running.

"Now, sunk down there, that's the Gravity Gear, isn't it?" Renner asked.

Then Renner turned around.

"Azite, was it? I must apologize but I must take that Gravity Gear." Renner said.

Then Renner turned back around.

"Wait…… Renner……" Azite said.

"……………… You know my name?" Renner asked.

"Renner the thief… I heard from Rata, Amill, Poocher, Zigzagger, Vance, Wayne, Uxite, and Mesprite that you were coming… It would have been better if I had knocked you out directly… But I also thought that I could possibly lose… So I set up a fail-safe system." Azite said.

Renner turned around and was shocked.

"What?!" Renner asked.

Then Azite shined his eyes and the Gem Crossing started shaking.

"What did you do?!" Renner asked.

Then Spyro, Whirlwind, Lyla, Superstorm, Ronald, Cynder, Rylee, Colin, Sunburn, Moonfreeze, Camo, Duna, Zap, and Erase stopped running.

"Watch out! More tremors!" Ronald and Cynder said.

Then gems started growing and covered the Gem Lake.

Then Spyro, Whirlwind, Lyla, Superstorm, Ronald, Cynder, Rylee, Colin, Sunburn, Moonfreeze, Camo, Duna, Zap, and Erase started running again.

Renner turned around and was shocked again.

"This is… The lake is covered by gems… There is no way of getting to the Gravity Gear!" Renner said.

"Renner… The Gravity Gear… You'll never get it now… Even in exchange for my life, you will never get the Gravity Gear…" Azite said.

Then Renner turned around.

"You!!!! I mean to have it and I will get it! I need the Gravity Gear! Even if it means eliminating you!" Azite said.

"Stop!" Ronald and Cynder said.

Spyro, Whirlwind, Lyla, Superstorm, Ronald, Cynder, Rylee, Colin, Sunburn, Moonfreeze, Camo, Duna, Zap, and Erase ran past Azite and got in front of him, preventing Renner from killing him.

"You're not getting the Gravity Gear, Renner!" Ronald and Cynder said.

"I have no quarrel with you. Out of the way!" Renner said.

"No way! You can't make us!" Ronald and Cynder said.

"Are you serious?!" Renner asked.

Then Renner got in his attack pose.

"Then if you won't stand aside… You leave me with no choice! I'll knock you out first! Just try to stop me!" Renner said.

The next chapter is a boss battle.
